AutoHunterJ49(1/2): I was talking about Rainbow Rush! sorry for the confusion!
Reader: I actually was going to use that! (I just didn't think of the line you made up!). Jaune's defense was more like Armament Haki because blut vene can't focus to a single point unlike Armament Haki, however, a hard defense aura technique has no name since Aura is mostly used for defense, but if you would like, we can call Jaune's defensive technique "Âme d'acier" which in french means "steel soul". Raven will not be Jaune's "Hawkeye" due to the fact that a Hawkeye/Zoro relationship is mostly reserved for Raven/Yang. However, Jaune is nowhere near Raven's level/Rank. Raven is an S-Class Huntsmen, meaning she's known worldwide and is near the Headmaster Rank, while Jaune is Ranked as Huntsmen-in-training, meaning that currently, he still has far to go before he can even beat people like Raven, Qrow, Winter, and even farther to go before he can even touch people on Betty and Ozpin's level. (Ranks will be expanded upon in the 2nd databook).

Xerzo LotCN: Adam's Semblance is called Moonslice, however, those names he used were attack names. "Chi no Mikazuki" is Japanese for "blood crescent moon" and it's that quick draw attack that he uses, while "Carga de Toro" is Spanish for "Bull Charge" (which is probably terrible Spanish), that attack is the red crescent attacks that Adam shoots out his blade, which is similar to Jaune's "Arcus Mortis". While Adam's Semblance is "Moonslice", Adam's attack will have different names. Also, trust me, we'll see more of Betty because she will be important down the line. As for Cinder's Virus, they know that she planted something but are still looking for it, again, it's possible if they will or will not find anything because Cinder might also be smart enough to lay low. As for Ironwood going back behind Ozpin, that was even in Canon, Ironwood was going behind Ozpin because to me, it felt as if he thought it was better to prepare and take Salem's forces head-on instead of playing the waiting game like Ozpin. I have a love-hate relationship with the General (who I hear has the best car insurance), on one side he's not wrong for what he did in Canon, after all, he was lied to and manipulated by both those that called him friend and enemies, but on the other, his actions went too far and in a way, he became the monster of his own story, a man with no heart and was going to abandon the people he swore to protect.

Arslan dropped down to her knee as she let out ragged breaths.
"How... did... you and Jaune... do this...?" She asked through ragged breaths
"Learning Aura techniques are hard both on your mind and body, but you are a quick learner, your Aura Sight is still beginners and your Aura Step also needs some work, but besides that, you're doing great, and your not straining yourself," Sun said
"Thank you..." she said, "But I... have to ask... how have you mastered certain Techniques? Your Aura Sight is far superior to Jaune's, and your Aura Step is almost as fast as Jaune's, not only that, what was that... that form you had? It wasn't your Semblance, because it's a cloning semblance, but that glow you had... it looked just like one of your clones... so what was that?" Arslan asked
Sun chuckled, "A great teacher never reveals his secrets so easily~!" Sun said with a cheeky smile, "Anyway If I can ask, why are you doing this?"
Arslan sat down and crossed her legs, "I Don't wanna fall behind," Arslan said "You, Me, and Jaune are three of the toughest 1st-year students at Beacon, hell, maybe even among the rest of the student body, but you two are way ahead of me in terms of skill and a bit of power, and it's thanks to Aura techniques, so I thought if I can learn what you and Jaune know, then I might be able to keep up a little more," She told him
Sun nodded as he kept smiling, "Make sense, but I also have a hunch that that's not all," He said, "Are you also doing this to get closer to Jaune?"
Arslan blushed, "O-Of course not!" she said
Sun chuckled, "Man... how Jaune has no idea you, and Reese like him is beyond me," He said
Arslan let out a sigh, "He's dense... he's always been like that though," she said
"Why do you like him anyway?" Sun asked with a brow raised
Arslan thought about it and thought back to her time when she was just a young girl in Mistral, hanging out with Reese and Jaune, playing, bickering, and just having a few adventures in the woods, she remembered how Jaune was a kid. He was kind, outgoing, and stood up for anyone, he even fought with bullies even if he wasn't as well trained as she was.
However... there was something that worried her. She hated seeing Jaune get hurt, she hated when the bullies beat him badly, and she hated seeing him covered in bruises.
And then he moved so suddenly and she never saw him again... that was until she heard about him on the news. When she and Reese heard about him being the only 1st-year student at Beacon she was happy to hear he became a huntsman, but she was also worried.
She knew that Jaune's dad was very firm about not training him so she worried if he was strong enough to make it through Beacon. And then when she saw him training when they arrived, she was happy to see he was safe and unharmed.
But then there was that call about Jaune fighting a Goliath, then him fighting Torchwick and his bleeding eye, Then the week he was gone, His fight with the Cliff Weaver, and apparently, his two fights with Adam before and during the breach.
All of those times he could have been hurt. Or killed.
That's what almost stopped her heart.
Jaune dead.
It frightened her to the very core.
So that's why she asked Sun for help learning Aura techniques and training most of her days to improve her skill as well as her strength. despite her training and her semblance, and everything she could do, Jaune had been in more dangerous situations and had protected her as well as everyone else. But, she didn't want to be protected anymore, she wanted to help and hell, even protect him from danger.
"I don't like him Sun... I love him, think I always loved him, even when he left Mistral, I was still in love with him, Because he's cared and loved us, even if it's not romantic yet, He's always cared, loved and protected me and Reese when we were kids, that's why I love him" Arslan said
"Aw~! That's so sweet!"
Arslan froze up and turned around quickly only to find Reese, Bolin, Nadir, Coco, Velvet, Fox, and Yatsuhashi walking into the training room, Reese had a toothy smile on her face.
Arslan's face was beet red, "Wh-Wha-!? H-How much-!? What d-did you hear!?" Arslan asked
"All of it Ars," Reese said as she walked up to her leader
"Oh my Oum!" Arslan cried, hiding her face.
Reese giggled, "Don't feel bad Ars~! You know I feel the same way!" Reese said
"Same with me and Bunbun," Coco Chimed it, "Sure we may not have known him as long as you two did, but when we hung out with him and helped him train, well, we saw that Arc charm you could say," Coco chuckled,
Velvet agreed with a small blush, "Yeah, Jaune has been nothing but kind, supportive, funny, and just overall a person with a calming energy about him," Velvet said "Jaune's worked hard to get where he was, even if it hurt, he never cried or complained, he worked his hardest to make sure he wasn't behind"
"Don't forget he's a good cook! I still remember his chicken noodle soup!" Fox said with a smile
"Yes, that was truly an amazing meal," Yatsuhashi agreed
"Yes, he's also an amazing cook, but beside's that those are some of the reasons we fell for him," Velvet said, "Jaune is... Jaune is one of the most amazing people we've ever met, I mean, he's become so strong in such a short amount of time, that I know, one day, he'll be one of the greatest Huntsmen to ever live," Velvet said with a soft smile and a blush
"Of course, he will!" Reese said with pride "Because no matter what, Jaune'll get back up and keep fighting for what he believes in, and if he ever falls, we'll be there to bring him right back up! Right?" she asked as she looked to Arslan
Arslan smiled softly and nodded her head, "Damn right we will," she said
"Speaking of Jaune, has anyone seen him today?" Sun asked
"Oh, I think I saw him and Neptune heading down to the pool area," Bolin chimed in
Hearing this, Sun's eyes widened, "Oh no..." Sun said as he let out a sigh, "We better go and save Jaune," Sun said
"Why do we need to save Jaune?" Velvet asked
"Neptune is extremely, and I mean extremely afraid of water," Sun said
"How extreme?" Fox asked
At the Pool:
"Jaune! Help me down!" Neptune cried
"How the hell am I supposed to help you down when you keep holding and shaking the diving board!?" Jaune cried as he was trying to keep balance near the edge
"Help me! I'm scared of water!" Neptune cried cartoonishly
"Damn it Nep! If you keep this up I'm gonna drown you!" Jaune cried
"WAHHHH!" Neptune cried

Meanwhile, while the students were doing what they were doing, Professor Peter Port was making his way up to Ozpin's office. He had been called up to the headmaster's office to discuss an upcoming mission, though why Ozpin called him was weird, after all, while Port was indeed a great Huntsmen in his own right, Ozpin usually called up Oobleck or Peach for missions, and he was rather fine with that as he had come to enjoy teaching students more then fighting the Grimm nowadays, even if he did tell his wonderful stories during his youth and slightly miss the action.
The elevator dinged and the doors opened, Port smiled and walked out of the elevator and stepped into Ozpin's office, and saw the Headmaster sitting alone at his desk, which Port would admit was a little odd, usually, Glynda was by his side.
"Good evening Ozpin," Port said with a smile
"Good evening Port," Ozpin said with a slight smile
"What's the mission?" Port asked
Ozpin looked at Port and took in a deep breath before exhaling, "You might not be keen on accepting this mission, but the reason I called you here was that if anyone knows the town, it's you, old friend," Ozpin said
Port was confused, "What do you mean?" Port asked
"I've recently received reports about people going missing and the appearance of... strange Grimm," Ozpin said
"Strange in what kind of way?" Port asked
"Strange as in they have green crystals sticking out of them and glow green, and are twice the size of normal Grimm," Ozpin said
Hearing this, Port froze up, a part of him remembered something from his past. He remembered the day his entire team was destroyed by Grimm that flowed Grinn and were abnormally large. Port's face contorted into disbelief and slight fear, "Ozpin, this town, it can't be-"
"It is," Ozpin said "It's Alnwick,"
Alnwick. It was a town in southwest vale and one of the first settlements that were a success in Vale's history and named after its founder, Caius Alnwick. However, it also had its share of problems. It was said to be haunted due to many Grimm attacks over the years, however, there was also the legend of the town's Grimm, many simply called it, the Alnwick Horror.
Port sighed, after all, he had hoped that in all his years he would never have to return to that place as too many memories lay in that town... memories that port hoped he would never have to relive, the Grimm studies teacher let out a heavy sigh.
"I'm sorry Peter," Ozpin said "I know that you don't want to return, and if you wish, I can have someone else-"
"No!" Port cried out
Ozpin was a bit startled by Port's outburst, but he looked at Port, and when he did, Ozpin saw the troubled look on the man's face but he saw something that he hadn't seen in a long time. Determination.
"I will take the mission," Port said "Which students will be coming along?" he asked
"Team CFVY, ABRN, Mr. Arc, and Mr. Wukong," Ozpin said "Mr. Neptune will not be tagging along due to the rest of his team coming and I think it would be best to have him stay here to help them get acquainted with Beacon," Ozpin told him
"Very well, when do we leave?" Port asked
"Tomorrow afternoon, as I want you to look over the reports today, while I inform the students," Ozpin said, he then handed the reports to Port, and looked at his old friend, "Peter... are you sure about this?" Ozpin asked
Port didn't answer right away as he took the reports and looked at them before he looked back at the headmaster. "Yes... I'm sure about this," Port told him, and with that, the Grimm studies professor headed back for the elevator and left the office.
Ozpin felt very concerned about this entire mission, as Port would be returning to the very place where he lost those close to his heart.

"Doctor? Are you there? We managed to get five more Beowulfs, 3 more Ursa, and 10 creeps, thought we couldn't get our hands on any of the townsfolk," said a woman as she held a Scroll to her ear.
This woman was Fe Feng, a rouge Mistralian huntress, now turned mercenary. she had long, black hair, with part of it in a top bun, another part done in an updo that resembles a bull's horns and two hair loops at her ears with the rest of it lose, her eyes were a dark grey, and wore a long red and gold kimono dress with a pair of wooden geta and strapped to her hips were two short weapons that resembled tri-fold fans.
With her were two men, known as Jericho and Treygen Anvikal.
Jericho had long white hair with a few braids in it, a small white beard graced his face, he had light pink eyes and wore a white jacket that bore a resemblance to a straight jacket, and his pants were a pale blue with holes around his knees, he wore a pair of light grey steel-toed boots, and strapped to his back was a long blue-colored greatsword.
Treygan had long greasy brown hair that was tied in a ponytail, and he had light blue eyes. He wore a dark leather fur coat, with a tight white t-shirt underneath, he wore a pair of brown cargo pants, and a pair of brown cowboy boots, and there appeared to be no weapon on him.
[Good work you three] came a voice on the other end of Fe's Scroll, [Return to base and get some rest, and I'll give you your next assignment tomorrow]
"you got it Doc," Fe replied
The call ended and Fe pocketed her scroll.
"Why are we still working for this guy Fe?" Jericho asked "Sure the pay is well, but there are plenty of more jobs out there that would pay way more for our services,"
"True, which is why we're taking this Job," Fe told him
"What do you mean?" Treygan asked
Fe turned to her two partners, "I got in contact with someone who's very interested in the Doctors research," Fe said with a smile "I thought about stealing the doctor's research a while ago and talked to anyone who was interested, and I found someone that was very interested, so I went to meet them, and we had a little... chat so to speak, they offered me a deal I couldn't refuse, so I took the job and promised to get as much research from the Doctor before taking it and giving it to them," Fe told her partners
"What kind of deal?" Jericho asked
Fe looked over at him, "A deal that keeps us alive," Fe told him "That's all I have to say,"
"Ok... did you at least get the client's name?" Treygan asked
"Didn't give me one," Fe told him "But he was some posh Atlastinian, I could tell that much, said he was also a doctor interested in Grimm research supposedly," Fe said
Tregyan just shrugged, "Alright then," he replied "Then we should hurry up and get back to base and give the doc these Grimm,"
Fe nodded and the three got into three large convoy trucks and drove away into the forest. Heading for whatever base they were housing all these Grimm.

Now just in case you guys were concerned, don't worry, Dr. Merlot is the main antagonist of this arc, the three OCs are just to add more of a fight next to the Mutant Grimm.
Fe Feng is based on Princess Iron Fan from Journey to the west, Jericho is based on Jadis the white witch from Narnia, and Treygen is loosely based on Long John Silver from Treasure Island.
Here's what is to come in chapter 22!
Jaune and the others arrive in Alnwick! A Mutant pack of Beowulf attacks the town as they are overseen by Jericho, Fe, and Treygen! Jaune piques the interest of the three mercenaries and Dr. Merlot! What kind of twisted plans might the doctor have for our blonde knight!?
I hope you guys are ready for this Arc because things are gonna get more exciting!
