X3runner: Ever since Oobleck said that Grimm could gain intelligence, that made me wonder if Grimm lived long enough, could they just be as smart as humans as well as learn certain things from humans? with time could they sort of form relationships with humans? Not to mention, while RWBY Chibi has three Grimm that talk and joke around for the lol's I still think it's interesting that they did that. Because to me it just sort of proves that Grimm can communicate with each other as well as think for themselves.

EDIT: Big news! I have finished planning out the final Arc of SUGARCRASH! Do you know what that means!? Yes! I have begun slowly planning out the sequel! I'm slowly planning out the first Arc which I won't be spoiling of course, but I have decided to give you guy's a special treat!
I want to hear your own ideas for a sequel title! and the best ones will be put on a poll, the most votes that name gets on a poll will be the story's title!
I know this seems sudden but trust me, the entire planning of SUGARCRASH is over, and while I am planning the sequel, I can promise it will not affect my writing for SUGARCRASH.

Jaune quickly woke up, only to see he was in a small bedroom, which was odd since he was expecting that with his injuries he would be in a hospital room. Speaking of his injuries, Jaune looked down to his leg only to see that there was a hole in the pant leg of his jeans, but no wound, which confused him, he then felt his shoulder and did find another hole in his hoodie, which actually annoyed him since he had spent a whole summer collecting box tops for it! But once again, there was no wound.
Jaune was even more confused, however, he also looked around for his armor but couldn't find it, he then quickly looked for Crocea Mors only to also not find it either. He got worried and quickly left the room, he looked around only to see some stairs leading down to what Jaune assumed was the 1st floor. He quickly went down and found himself on the first floor, but also saw the others resting.
Reese and Velvet turned around to see him and they smiled and quickly ran over to him and gave him two tight hugs.
"Thank Oum you're alright!" Velvet cried
Reese buried her face into his chest, "Had us all scared ya big dork!" Reese said
"S-Sorry," Jaune said with a sad tone, hugging them back, He then broke the hug and looked at them and then the others with a raised brow, "What happened?" Jaune asked
Yatsuhashi looked at him, "You don't remember anything?" he asked
Jaune looked down with a confused and sad look, "No... I-I feel like I'm missing a huge part of my memory of last night," He said sadly
"What do you remember?" Coco asked, her face looking a little worried
Jaune tried his best to remember, "I was fighting some guy, his name was Treygen, he was working for Merlot and for some reason he wanted to capture me and... Arslan!" Jaune cried, he looked at Reese, "Is Arslan ok!?" he asked with a worried look
"She's fine, Jaune," Reese said with a reassuring look and a soft smile, "She and Sun are talking with that guy they captured last night," she told him
Jaune let out a sigh of relief, "That's good," He said, He then remembered Professor's port mission, "Wait, what about Professor Port?" Jaune asked
Velvet looked at him with a sad face, "The Professor's in the hospital,"
Jaune was shocked, "What!? What happened!?" Jaune asked
"We don't know," Velvet said with a sigh, "A Civilian woman found him limping his way back to town, and before she could ask what happened to him, he fainted, he lost a lot of blood from his wounds,"
"What kind of wounds?" Jaune asked
"Gunshot wounds," Velvet told him
"Is he gonna be ok?" Jaune asked with a concerned tone
Velvet nodded, "He'll make it, he just has to take it easy," Velvet said
Jaune smiled and let out a sigh of relief for his Grimm studies teacher, "Thank Oum," Jaune said
"Yeah," Coco said, she then returned to the conversation beforehand, "Anyway, keep going, what else do you remember?"
"Well I was fighting and I thought I had him, but then he shot me," Jaune said, "His bullets pierced through my aura, said he paid a lot of those types of bullets, "
"I bet he did," Coco said "Those aren't cheap, Aura piercing rounds aren't cheap and most have to be custom made,"
Jaune nodded, "Yeah, well anyway, He got me in the leg and shoulder and I could barely move, and then..." Jaune began but didn't seem to finish as he seemed lost and trying to think.
"What is it?"
Jaune didn't answer right away, thinking hard, and when he remembered the last part of what happened, a scared expression came to his face, "...I-I just remember hearing a voice... and then I-I don't remember what happened after," Jaune said
Coco looked back to the others with a knowing look, as if telling them it made sense that he didn't remember what happened last night. She looked back and Jaune and walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder and just looked at him through her shades. "It's alright Jaune, just take it easy for now, ok?" She asked with a soft expression
Jaune looked at her and while he still felt troubled he agreed and nodded, "Ok," Jaune said, he then remembered why he also came down, "Oh, by the way, have you seen my Armor and Crocea Mors?" he asked
"Sun said that your armor's completely destroyed," Coco told him
"What!? Ah, man! I paid so much for that set!" Jaune cried, "What about Corcea Mors!?" Jaune asked frantically
"It's resting on the kitchen table," Coco said, "But before you decided to go out and look for Sun and Arslan, get a little bit more rest, you need it," She said with a smile
Jaune sighed but nodded again and thanked her and went back upstairs.
However, as he did, and they were out of his sight, many concerned expressions graced the faces of his friends.
Reese and Velvet looked over to Coco with concerned looks, "What do you think?"
"I think it makes sense," Coco said "After what those two told us, and if it's really true, It makes sense he doesn't remember what happened to him,"
"But then... what do we do?" Velvet asked with a concerned look.
Coco didn't answer thinking hard about what they could possibly do.
"We help him," Reese spoke up, "We figure out what we need to do in order to get this... Grimm out of him, no matter what"
Yatsuhashi nodded in agreement, "I agree," he said "If he's truly possessed by a Grimm, then we need to do our best to remove it from him... I refuse any other option,"
"Same here," Fox said, "Jaune's our friend, no way I'm just gonna let some Grimm take over his body, and do who knows what with it,"
Coco smiled and looked over at Velvet. The bunny Faunus looked at her leader and nodded with a determined look
Coco chuckled and nodded, "Alright then, team CFVY has made up their mind," She said "What about the rest of you?" she asked looking at Bolin and Nadir
Nadir and Bolin looked at each other and Nadir looked to Reese, a pleading and concerned look on her face.
Nadir took a deep breath and then let it out and nodded, "I-I trust Reese and I trust Arslan," Nadir said "If they want to help Jaune, then so do I, I guess," Nadir said
Bolin smiled and sighed, "Well then it looks like I have no choice in the matter," he said "I'll help Arc as well,"
Coco nodded, "Good," She said, "Now, for now, we keep it a secret from others as well as the teachers, agreed?" Coco asked
They all agreed.
"What about Jaune?" Reese asked, "He needs to know about this,"
"I know," Coco said, "But let's have Arslan and Sun tell him, they were the ones to face off against it, after all, they might know a little more than we do,"
Reese agreed with Coco's statement and the teams continued to rest for now.

Treygen was held up in a cell of the local jail, surrounded by a few local law enforcement of Alnwick, he was restrained with chains and cuffs and stripped of his weapons as well as most of his gear.
Arslan and Sun walked into the place and looked over at one of the guards.
"We need to Interrogate him," Arslan told them
The guard nodded and opened the cell for the two and they both walked in, Arslan's face was expressionless while Sun had a bit of a smirk on his face.
Treygen smiled, as he looked up at the two, and then looked to Arslan, "What can and good ol' boy like me do for some such a beaut like yourself?" Treygen asked
"Merlot," Arslan stated, "We want to know where he is and what the hell he's planning," she told him
"You wanna know about the doc, eh?" Treygen began, "Well, I'll be willing to tell you, but I wanna make a deal,"
"A deal?" Arslan asked, now glaring at him, "After everything you've done, you wanna make a deal to save your own ass!?" She asked angrily
Treygen smiled, "Yeah,"
Sun chuckled, "How about I make you a deal?"
Treygen looked over to the Faunus with a raised brow, "Oh?" He asked "What kind of deal?"
"A deal where you don't die here in Alnwick," Sun said darkly, but still smiling
Treygen's smile faltered and he looked at Sun with a confused expression, "What the hell are you talking about?"
"Oh? You don't know?" Sun asked, "The people of Alnwick know you're one of the people who took their own, and they are pretty pissed, after all, you took their families, friends, and even children away, and they want blood,"
Treygen gulped but smiled nervously, "But you can't let them just kill me, your huntsmen!"
"We may be huntsmen pal, but you're wrong but how we can't just leave you to the people of Alnwick," Sun said with a smile, "I'm fine with leaving some someone like you to the justice of people who've you wronged and letting them decide your fate, so you either tell us where Merlot is and what he's doing or I can tell the people of Alnwick to do what they want with you,"
Treygen began to sweat, seeing that Sun wasn't bluffing, Treygen nodded. "Fine, I'll tell you what I know," Treygen said with a bit of a glare at the Monkey Faunus.
"Good," Sun said "Now where is Merlot?"
"He's still working at his old building just east of here," Treygen said
Hearing this, Arslan was a little confused as she remembered that the place was overrun by the MutaGrimm. "How? I heard the place was overrun,"
Treygen nodded, "It was but he cleared it out years ago," Treygen told her,
Arslan nodded, "What about his plan, why has he been collecting Grimm and why is he now collecting humans?" Arslan asked
"From what he told us, he was working on a drug that would weaponize the Grimm to obey a humans command, he was doing this in case of another War breaking out, like the Great War or the FR War, but apparently, the Vale council at the time denied his research, saying it was too dangerous to use the Grimm as previous attempts had failed, so he worked weaponizing Grimm in secret, however, never found the right way to control them, he boosted their strength, speed, regeneration, and size, however, that was as far as he got, but then had a change of plans,"
Arslan and Sun looked at each other with confused looks.
"What do you mean?" Arslan asked
"He realized that the Grimm while superior, lacked the consciousness that we humans have, so he decided to come up with a new plan," Treygen said, "The reason he's been takin' people from Alnwick is that he wants them to become Grimm,"
"Become Grimm?" Sun asked
Arslan quickly realized what he meant, "Merlot is trying to create Human-Grimm Hybrids!?" Arslan asked
"Yeah," Treygen asked, "He hasn't had much success, some have been known to take on Grimm traits but die only a few seconds or minutes later... but now he's no doubt been informed about ya little friend,"
Sun and Arslan glared, knowing who he was talking about.
Treygen smiled as he saw their angry glares, "Now before y'all decide to kill me with ya eyes, let me finish," Treygen said, "If the good doctor gets ahold of ya friend, he'll use him to create more hybrids, and get his revenge on Vale,"
"So he plans on taking revenge on Vale city and the council huh?" Sun asked, "Well, there's no way he's getting a hold of Jaune and doing what he wants anymore," Sun said
Treygen chuckled, "Y'all really think you can stop him?" he asked the two
"Yeah, because Merlot's just another hurdle we as Huntsmen-in-training need to jump over," Arslan told him.
Treygen just chuckled, "Well then best of luck to ya I suppose," he said, "Now if ya don't mind, I'd like to get some shut-eye,"
With that, Treygen lay down on his cot, while Sun and Arslan left the cell and began making their way back to the house they were all staying at and inform the others about what they were told and hopefully before the day ends, come up with a plan to stop Merlot once and for all.
Meanwhile, at Alnwick's Hospital, Jaune entered the room that Professor Port was supposed to be in, he looked around and saw his Grimm studies professor lying on a bed, patched up and hooked up to an IV bag, dressed in a hospital gown. He was awake but looking up to the ceiling, a half-opened book rested upon his lap.
"Professor," Jaune called out
Port looked over to see Jaune and he gave the young man a soft and kind smile, "Mr. Arc,"
Jaune smiled softly back and approached the cot and stood next to his Professor, "How are you feeling?" He asked
"As good as I can be..." Port said.
"Who did this to you, Professor?" Jaune asked
Port let out a heavy sigh and turned away from his student, looking at his lap. "Merlot, my boy," Port told him, "I ran into him on my way back to Alnwick when I saw the Bullheads heading toward Alnwick," Port told him
"Ah, so you fought him?" Jaune asked
Port shook his head, "No, I fought all the little bots he kept sending my way... I didn't even manage to land a strike," Port said, his hand balling into fists, "Curse my damn uselessness!" Port cried as he slammed his fist into the cot's railing.
"Professor!" Jaune cried
Port took a few breaths, and calmed down, "Forgive me, Mr. Arc... I should not have lost my temper like that," Port said
"No, it's ok Professor," Jaune said with a small smile, "In fact, it puts me at ease to see you a little angry," Jaune said
Port looked at his student with a raised brow, "Truly?"
Jaune nodded, "Y-Yeah, I mean do you have any idea how good it is to see you just sort of being like us students?" Jaune asked, "I remember the mistake you made of repeating the same lesson in two days because you were tired, you looked so embarrassed but continued on and pushed passed it, I would have died if that was me!" Jaune said with a chuckle
Port smiled, "Yes, that was quite embarrassing,"
"Oh! Did Dr. Oobleck tell you he nearly tripped over himself when trying to head to the board?"
"Bart tripped!?" Port asked with a smile
Jaune nodded and smiled, "And there was this time with Ms. Goodwitch when she nearly spilled coffee all over her notes, she got so mad and I never knew she some of the words she cussed out!" Jaune finished with a laugh
Port laughed along with him, forgetting Glynda was a bit of a troublemaker in her younger years.
"But seeing you guys make mistakes, it makes me remember just how human you can be," Jaune said, rubbing the back of his neck, "I made a lot of mistakes my first few weeks of Beacon and I was afraid of showing it in front of you and the rest of my teachers because to me... you guys were like these invincible Huntsmen that were the best of the best, people I wanted to be like and I still think that but I also remember that you're human too, and you make mistakes just like us students, and that puts me at ease because it helps me remember the no matter what I do, no matter what kind of mistakes I make, big or small, I'm just like you and If I can work harder and improve and learn from my mistakes, I can be just like all of you," Jaune said
Port looked at him and saw the young's student smile, and an emotion he hadn't been feeling for quite some time arose inside of him, an emotion he never thought he'd feel again, an emotion he had only felt once when he fought alongside his team.
Hope.
It was like Jaune was encased in its shining silver light.
Port looked away from his student and looked back down at his lap. "Mr. Arc... would it ruin the image of me you have, if I asked you a favor?" Port asked
Jaune looked a little confused as he looked at Port, "What kind of Favor, Professor?" Jaune asked him
"Mr. Arc... I beg of you and the rest of you students... please stop Merlot and save Alnwick," Port said as small tears fell from his eyes.
Jaune was surprised at seeing his professor crying, as out of all the teachers, he always believe that Port was the strongest in terms of spirit.
"I and my team had failed to stop him and save this town years ago... and I lost everything that day, my team... the people i called my friends and my 2nd family died that day... and I have regretted it forever, I regretted that I failed to save them... it still haunts me to know and I failed them... then and now," Port said, he then turned to his student as the tears continued to fall. "So please Mr. Arc, I beg of you with all my heart to succeed where I have failed... I beg of you," Port said
Jaune looked at Port and he stood tall, and breathed in heavily as he looked at his Professor, "You don't even have to ask for such a favor professor!" Jaune cried, "We students who you taught will bring Merlot down! We'll bring back everyone Merlot took and we will save Alnwick! AS AN ARC, I SWEAR ON MY NAME AND PROMISE YOU THAT WE WILL COMPLETE THE MISSION!" Jaune cried
Port saw the determination in Jaune's eyes and in his voice, and the professor smiled and wiped the tears away from his face. "Thank you... Mr. Arc," Port told him
"Don't thank me, Professor," Jaune said with a smile, "After all... I'm just doing my job," Jaune told him
Port's smile widened and he nodded, "Of course, you are," He said with a chuckle

Jaune returned to the house, once he walked in, that's when he saw Sun and Arslan in the front room, looking at him with slight concern.
Jaune felt a little worried, "Guys?" Jaune asked "What's wrong?" he asked
"Dude... there's something important that we need to tell you," Sun said
"What is it? What's wrong?" Jaune asked with a concerned tone
"It's about you... and what happened to you last night," Arslan told him
Jaune was now more confused, "What do you mean?"
Arslan sighed, "Jaune... last night, you were possessed by a Grimm,"
Jaune was shocked, "W-What!?" Jaune cried "What do you mean!?" he asked
"Jaune, when me and Arslan got concerned by the two others working for Merlot, we were about to fight but then... you showed up, and literally slammed Treygen down but at the same time it wasn't you, you were half Grimm!"
Jaune was shocked, he wondered how the hell this had happened and that's when he remembered something that happened back in Mt. Glenn, and he remembered the pit full of black goo, and how he fell into it and got the goo into his mouth, and that's when something hit him like a Boarbatusk.
"I... AM... FAVNEAR!"
"Favnear," Jaune said with shock
Hearing the name of the Grimm that took hold of Jaune's body, Sun and Arslan went wide-eyed.
"You know his name!?" Arslan cried
Jaune nodded, but was still in shock, he then took a seat over in the living as the other two stood in front of him. "He... he told me his name back in Mt. Glenn
Sun looked a little confused, "Wait! What do you mean he told you his name back in Mt. Glenn?" Sun asked
Jaune sighed, "I was taking watch back during my mission with BRNZ and Dr. Oobleck at Mt. Glenn, I saw Roman's Aura, and so followed him into the actual Mount Glenn, however, I lost him along the way so I started looking for where he might be, I went down the wrong tunnel and fell through a hole that dropped me into some sort of... black pool, the pool was as black as tar but it felt like I was stuck in a marsh, and I took a look around and that's when I saw it,"
"It?" Arslan asked
"A Dragon Grimm, the size of an atlas Airship," Jaune said,
"Make sense with what... Favnear told us," Sun said, "He said he was a Wyvern Grimm, one of the worst and most dangerous Grimm to ever exist,"
"Yeah well, it was sleeping, and not wanting to wake that up, I tried looking for an exit, but once I found it... my whole body felt like it was on fire, the pain was so intense I passed out and that's how Adam and Roman kidnapped me," Jaune said
"So whatever that Black goo was, somehow Favnear used that to transfer his soul into your body," Arslan said
"His soul?" Jaune asked, "But Grimm don't have souls,"
Arslan shook her head, "Not according to him," she told him, "According to Favnear, believing Grimm don't have souls means that we as humans really don't know anything about Grimm, and I'm starting to believe he might be right,"
Jaune nodded, "But now what?" Jaune asked "What are we gonna do about... me?" he asked
"We'll figure something out dude," Sun said, "one way or another, Favnear's gonna leave you alone," Sun said with a smirk
Jaune nodded, but let out a sigh, "Who else knows about this?" Jaune asked with a worried look
"We had to tell the others, just in case Favnear wanted to use your body again," Arslan chimed in
Sun waved his hand, trying to wave away Jaune's worries, "But don't worry, we and the others agreed not to tell Port or any of the staff when we get back," Sun said
Jaune thought about it but shook his head, "No, we have to tell them,"
"What!?" Arslan cried
"I'm not saying now, but when we get back," Jaune said "If Favnear decided to take my body over again, it could be at school and it might make things worse," Jaune said
"But what if they try and kill you!? What if they don't even think about helping us try to get rid of him!?" Arslan cried
Jaune didn't answer, right away, but he looked to Arslan, "And... what if that's the only way?" Jaune asked
Arslan shook her head, "No! No! I refuse to believe that! There has to be another way!" Arslan cried
"Maybe but we don't know what we're getting ourselves into, but maybe headmaster Ozpin will," Jaune said
Arslan wanted to argue but she knew Jaune was right, if anyone knew something, It would be Ozpin, he knew a lot more about most things than even the staff. She let out a heavy sigh, "Are you sure about this?" she asked with a worried look.
"Yeah..." Jaune told her, "But let's get passed this, we got bigger fish to fry," Jaune said
Sun nodded with a smile, "He's right, We still have to deal with Merlot before we deal with Favnear," Sun said
Arslan nodded in agreement, "Do we have a plan?"
Jaune shook his head, "No, but let's get the others and get to it," Jaune said
And with that said, the two nodded in agreement and went to go get the other in order to form a plan that would deal with Merlot once and for all and save Alnwick.

Oh boy, it looks like things are really gonna amp up from here! We got four more chapters to go in the Grimm Eclipse Arc before we head to the Favnear Arc!
Also, a certain Character from RWBY: Ice Queendom will appear in the Favnear Arc!
