Chapter 7: Informing Sraivo

We were finally at the police station after walking for about half an hour. We had to wait in the waiting room as Sraivo was currently with another client at the time. "So is crime here a major deal," I questioned.

"Well," answered Potion. "It depends on the crime. For the most part though, not really. One time my mom got arrested for stealing a couple of ribbons."

"That's interesting," I replied.

"Yeah," exclaimed Potion. "It was only a warning though. Finally, the door opened and it was our turn to go in. A grey Anseptadog walked out. A had no idea who this was until Potion called their name. "Slash, what are you doing here?"

"Oh Sraivo is gonna help me find my stolen cookies," answered Slash. I facepalmed as the impression of who goes to the police for stolen cookies.

"I'm sure they'll turn up soon," said Potion.

"Yeah," replied Slash. Slash noticed Horn and started tearing up. "It can't be. After 25 years, she's still alive."

"Yeah," I said. "I'm on that case."

"Same to me," Boob agreed.

"I'm sorry," said Slash. "Boob you are alive too? Also, who are you, human in a wolf costume?"

"Yes," answered Boob. "I'm alive."

"I could say same to you," I answered Slash. "Also people, stop calling me a human in a wolf costume. I'm a wolf hybrid and the name's detective Fastbuilderman."

"Oh," interrupted Potion. "This is Slash. They sign their name like this: /." He showed me how they sign their name. I was confused in why someone would sign their name as the forward slash but it made sense. Finally, Sraivo asked us to come in but only two of us could enter as there were only two seats in his office.

"Ah hello guys," said Sraivo. "What can I do for you?"

"Hello officer," I said. "My name is Detective Fastbuilderman and I'm here on a case to solve the Mystery of Crystal Sprinkles. Potion here called me up and I agreed."

"Ah," replied Sraivo. "A newcomer. Please call me the popo. You also seem like a detective for a wolf hybrid."

"Finally," I exclaimed. "Someone gets it. Also I'm not calling you the popo."

"You want to be arrested for talking back to a cop," questioned Sraivo.

"Fine," I answered. "I'll call you the popo."

"Good," said Sraivo. "Now what can I help you with?"

"I was wondering if you could help us solve this mystery," I answered.

"Yeah," replied Sraivo. "It is kinda embarrassing that I wasn't able to solve the case but there's nothing I could do. I ran into a dead end. Crystal's dead and I wasn't able to find any more evidence. I'm really sorry Potion that you miss her and that's why you called up the detective but there's nothing else I could do"

"Well," I said. "I got a ton of evidence." I put all the evidence on the desk for Sraivo to look at. "And about Crystal's death. That is confirmed as wrong. She's still alive."

"How so," questioned Sraivo.

"Why don't you look out the window there," I questioned pointing to the window to the lobby. Sraivo walked over to it and pulled the blinds back. He was shocked and started to tear up in what he saw.

"I can't believe it," exclaimed Sraivo. "It's Horn! Well a very burned Horn but it means I was wrong about the whole case."

"Does this mean you'll help us," I questioned.

"I'm afraid I can't help," said Sraivo. "I was wrong the whole time. I wouldn't know where to look. But I'll allow you to continue your investigation and if you give me enough evidence, I might change my mind. Good luck detective!" We walked out of the office with mixed emotions on our faces.

"How did it go," questioned Horn.

"Good and bad," answered Potion.

"How so," questioned Boob.

"The bad news is Sraivo won't help us," I answered.

"But the good news is they will let us continue our investigation," Potion continued. "And id we get enough evidence, it might change their mind."

"So that means Horn your up," I said.

"Why me," Questioned Horn.

"Cause," I answered. "Where would we find more evidence? The last place Crystal was seen and you were the last to see her."

"Alright," Horn agreed. "Just follow me." That's what we did.

What will we find at the last place Crystal was seen? Will there be any twists? Find out in two chapters as the next will be what happened to Crystal Sprinkles (Note: our main characters will not know this).
