-at the airport-

"Mom, how long will we be flying?" I asked.

My mom Looked at me cheerfully. "Its a 12 hour flight, but it will be worth it."

i sighed at that, my butt is going to get wooden, me and my parents were going to South Africa, on vacation, mostly to see the safari, we had payed a huge amount of money for it, but it was worth it according to my parents, problem was, I had never flown before, so that was something i found quite uncomfortable.

my Dad grabbed the biggest bag, and walked to the gate, getting anxious about it taking so long.

finally, our flight was called, and we stepped onboard, we were seated at the back, luckily i had a window seat, so at least i didn't have to bore myself to death.

My parents sat next to me, as i strapped my seatbelt. I was getting more and more nervous, as my mum and dad, reassured me. "Don't worry Max, Flying is generally the safest way to travel, besides, airZero is one of the best airlines in the world." They both said.

before knew it, we were taxiing on the runway. And the pilot made an announcement. "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome onboard flight OR36T, we are headed for South Africa, we will experience some turbulence for sure, but it's nothing unusual, 12 hours flying, thank you for choosing airZero, now, Let's get lose!" He ended.

and once again, before we knew it, we suddenly shot towards the front, and the plane started shaking, as we went faster and faster, I held my breath, as the plane launched up in the air, and the G-forces were wearing off, finally reaching Cruising attitude.

i pulled out my phone and started watching a movie, on Disney, to kill time.

i spend the rest of my flight sleeping, or staring outside the window, as we came closer to oud final destination...

"what is this food? It's inedible!" I vented to my mom.

i then turned to my dad. "You wanna share?" Dad nodded.

finally, the end was insight as i turned to my mom.

"Mum, how long until we finally land?" I asked.

"just 2 hours Max, hang on. Flying fan." She joked.

we waited calmly as the plane came closer to its destination.

suddenly, the plane banked to the left, and we started going down, the seatbelt signs turned on, and we all strapped ourselves in.

the emergency masks dropped and we were told to put it on, i hung on to my seat, nearly crying in fear, I looked outside and saw that we were going to crash!

the pilot called up. "Dear passengers, Im so sorry! Brace for impact!"

i went into a brace position, and prepared for the worst.
