Disclaimer: I do not own anything except for a few OCs. RWBY is owned by Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth and Chaotic is own by, well... Chaotic. No seriously that's what it says for who owns it when I looked it up.

Also, this well be an earth version of the RWBY cast and this story will be meant more for fun than actual story with drama and stuff in it, but I might make another version of this that's more focused on the story in the future, albeit with some differences. I'll have to see. But I'll still try to make a good story for this as well as fun scenes and chapters.

I was inspired to make a story like this by the story "Chaotic Twilight" by Cloud4012. It's an amazing story and I highly suggest you check it out.

In the middle of a dark city in what appears to be an underground cavern a figure crashed down onto the street. It was a female with red bat-like wings who wears an armored breastplate and knee guards. She has yellow skin with dark red markings on her hands, legs, and neck. She wears a twisted set of black armor that covers the entirety of her form, leaving only her wings and face free.

She got onto all fours as a voice called out.

"It's over Takinom!" Yelled out a bony Creature with great, dark wings on his back, his eye's glow with an intense red flame.

In the mind of Takinom was a large space of blue ones and zeros, an in that space was a girl with black hair that ends in red and silver eyes.

'This is bad! Think Ruby, think! What do I do?!' She thought as the creature charged two balls of fire and threw it at her.

Earlier...

In a cafeteria at a high school two people are seen at a table playing a card game on their laptops. One of them is Ruby while the other is a blond boy with blue eyes.

Ruby was wearing a black jacket with a red undershirt, a black and red skirt, black stockings and black boots with red soles. She was also wearing a red scarf and had a silver pin in the shape of a rose on the scarf as well.

"I cast my Cannon of Casualty and attack with Inferno Gust and that's game." Ruby said as she played her cards.

"You win again. You're keep getting better." He complimented.

"Hey, you're the one who suggested those tips to me so you helped too Jaune." She said modestly. Suddenly she got a message on her laptop.

"Huh? Chaotic mail?" She mumbled confused. She opened it up to see a code.

Jaune looked over to see what she was talking about. "Hey, I think I know what this is." He said.

"Hmm?" Ruby looked at him curiously.

"I've heard people online talk about how they received a random code and when they entered it, it made everything about the game even better." He told her.

"Really?" She asks surprised.

"Yeah, although a few of them mentioned that their scanners acted like they stopped working for while, but the problem fixed itself a little bit after." Jaune added.

Ruby looked at it curiously. "Huh, I might have to check it out later at home." She said.

"Good idea, I heard these codes expire after midnight." Jaune said.

Suddenly a voice called out for Ruby.

"Ruby!"

They both turn to see a girl with long blond hair and lilac eyes.

"Come on, it's time go home!" She yelled.

"Coming Yang!" Ruby yelled back before turning back to Jaune.

"See ya Jaune." Ruby waved goodbye.

"Bye Ruby." Jaune said.

Later...

Ruby was on her laptop, typing something. "Time to see if this code actually works." She said as she hit enter.

Suddenly the screen of her scanner turned off and her online deck was unaccesable.

"What the heck?" She said as she tried to access her deck again, but to no avail.

"Maybe it's part of that thing Jaune was talking about?" She questioned to no one in particular as she decided to shut off her computer and try again later, thinking this might have been a trick. If only she knew.

Moments earlier...

Ruby had entered her code and suddenly she saw what looked like a tunnel mad of blue ones and zeroes before finding herself in what looked like a large futuristic pub with countless people in it.

"Holy cookies!" She exclaimed.

"Well, at least you had an original reaction." A robotic voice said.

Ruby quickly turned around to see a robot hovering in the air.

"Player TheCrimsonReapr, your drome match starts in five minutes at the Crellan Drome." The robot informed her.

"Wait, match? Like a Chaotic match?" Ruby asked.

"Yes. Please follow me to the Crellan Drome." The robot said and began to float away. Ruby just looked at it confused for a moment and blinked before deciding to follow it.

5 minutes later...

"Whoa..." Ruby said in awe as she was standing on a conveyor belt and looked at the drome she was supposed to have a match in. It was a large blue dome with railing behind it that looked like some sort of coat collar, as well as several beams along the sides, helping keep it up.

she came up to a large, round, red door the split apart to open itself for her.

She stepped inside to see it was a large dark area with blueish lines marking the floor. It was almost completely empty except for 2 stands and 1 other person inside.

It was a young boy with pale skin, white hair and blue eyes.

'Huh, he looks kinda like Weiss. Maybe he's a relative?' Ruby thought as she went further in.

"So you must be 'TheCrimsonReapr'. It's a pleasure to meet you." The boy greeted.

"Oh, uh, hi, it's nice to meet you too. You can just call me Ruby." Ruby nervously introduced herself. 'At least this first meeting is going better than it did with Weiss.' She noted.

"My name is Whitley." The boy introduced himself.

"TheCrimsonReapr, please step forward and dock your scanner." A robotic voice said.

Ruby jumped a bit at hearing the voice come from seemingly nowhere, but noted the stand in front of her and placed her scanner in it as a holographic screen appeared.

"Woah." Ruby said before realizing something. "Hey, it's just like the online game." She noted as the screen and set up was the same as to when she played Chaotic online.

"SnowMiser, please step forward and dock your scanner."

Whitley placed his scanner on the stand in front of him and a screen appeared in front of him as well.

Ruby tried to figure out how to work the screen when she looked over at whitely to see him interacting with the screen itself. So she tried interacting with the screen and she was able to interact and look between the cards from her online deck.

'So, this is like what I do for the online game but in person but with holograms. This so cool!' Ruby mentally gushed as she kept thinking on what cards to choose.

'Okay, this looks like a 1 on 1 match so I'll go with Takinom, the Shadowknight. For some firepower I'll giver her a Destructozooka, and to really power her up, I'll use a Song of Fury Mugic.' Ruby thought as she selected her cards.

'Just to be safe, I'll put in some UnderWorld locations like the Lava Pond and Wooden Pillar.' She thought as she finished selecting her cards.

"Lock your decks."

Both Ruby and Whitley locked their decks to seethe other's half of the screen. On Whitley's side was a bony creature with dark wings, Lord Van Bloot.

"This is amazing!" Ruby gushed again.

Whitley chuckled. "If your impressed by this, wait till you get to the cool part." He said.

"Eh?" Ruby said confused.

"Cool part? You mean this isn't the cool part?" Ruby asked. Whitley however, didn't say anything, likely not wanting to spoil the surprise.

"TheCrimsonReapr. Because this is your first time here, you will be the attacker. Spin the location randomizer."

Ruby spun the spinner which kept going before landing on UnderWorld City.

"Now TheCrimsonReapr, choose your attacking creature, and your target creature."

"Well that's an easy choice." Ruby said. "Takinom attacks Lord Van Bloot."

"Very well. TheCrimsonReapr, touch your Takinom card."

Ruby listened and touched the card. However, once she did codes started to swirl around her body.

"Huh, what's going on?" She asked as the code started to move further up her body.

Meanwhile Whitley chuckled at her reaction as he did the same and codes started to swirl around him as well.

Once the codes disappeared Ruby was shocked to find that both she and Whitley were transformed into their respective monsters.

"Both players, prepare for battle."

"Wait, battle?" Ruby questioned nervously before realizing. "Wait, you mean we have to...?"

Van Bloot got into a battle ready stance as the area was surrounded by blue code.

Both players were transported to UnderWorld City.

Takinom is trying to fly above the city. Keyword 'trying'. She was currently crashing into the roofs of the buildings.

With a groan Takinom got up from her latest crash. 'Ugh, it's gonna be so tough to get the hang of this.' She thought.

She tried flying again and managed to stay in the air for a bit, albeit flying wobbly.

"Hey, I think I'm getting the hang of thi-" Takinom was cut off when something struck her back.

"AH!" She cried as she was sent crashing into the rooftops.

Lord Van Bloot was flying above her, indicating he was the one who attacked her.

"Pebblestorm!" Van Bloot fired a barrage of pebbles moving like bullets at Takinom who quickly rolls out of the way.

"Ok, things are getting a bit heated, so why don't we cool down for a moment." Takinom tried to talk her way out.

"Ok, how about something chilling! Spirit Gust!" Van bloot fired a blast of weird, wailing spirits which hit Takinom and sent her flying a few feet back.

'Ok, this isn't good. I need my battlegear, how do I get my battlegear?!' Takinom thought when suddenly a tri-barreled bazooka-like weapon appeared in her hands.

Takinom just stared at it before accepting it. "That works."

She immediately took aim and started firing purple lasers from it at Van Bloot. Van bloot dodged a couple blasts but was hit by the third one and sent spiraling out of control.

He quickly recovered and regained control and started flying again before narrowing his eyes at takinom. "Ok, that won't do at all."

"Discord of Disarming!" Van Bloot calls out as music plays and Takinom is hit be an orange beam of light, destroying her battlegear.

"NOOO!" She cries due to her battlegear being destroyed, and the face that such an amazing weapon was destroyed.

Van Bloot throws another ball of fire at Takinom who jumps into the air and tries to fly again, only to be shot back down by another Pebblestorm from Van Bloot.

"It's over Takinom!" Van Bloot yelled as he charged another Flame Orb attack and dived towards Takinom.

'This is bad! Think Ruby, think! What do I do?!' Takinom thought in panic as Van Bloot got closer.

'That's it!' She thought as she had an idea and quickly dodged the two Flame Orbs from Van Bloot.

"Song of Fury!" She called out as music played once more, but this time the tune was different. A red beam of light hit and she fell to her knees. Her body began to become surrounded by flames as her body surged with power and she looked up with fire in her eyes.

"I think it's my turn to attack now! Torrent of Flame!" Takinom exclaimed as she fired an overwhelming torrent of fire towards Van Bloot, as if the flames have been liquified. Van Bloot tried to dodge, however the blast was too large and ended up landing a direct hit, causing him to crash into the ground.

With a grunt, Van Bloot got up off the ground.

"Play time's over." He said as he flew back into the air

"Fearocity!" He exclaimed as multiple black, spirit-like heads with glowing red eyes and sharp teeth appeared and flew towards Takinom.

Takinom however, wasn't phased at all and just launched multiple blasts of fire at the heads, getting rid of them.

"Inferno Gust!" Takinom fired a powerful stream of fire at Van Bloot who fired a Lavalanche. The two attacks met and created a large fiery explosion.

"Paral-Eyes!" Takinom fired two yellow beams from her eyes which completely immobilized Van Bloot when they hit.

"Now to end this! Clashjet!" Takinom was completely covered in flames and charged at Lord Van Bloot and crashed into him, causing him to explode in a burst of blue code.

"Winner, TheCrimsonReapr."

Back at the battle drome Takinom and Whitley, now no longer tansformed were seen.

"I... I did it." Takinom says surprised before beginning to cheer.

"I did it!" She cheered as she jumped into the air, as she did so blue code began to swirl around her, turning her back into Ruby Rose.

Whitley sighed. "Congratulations, you did well. Especially for a newbie." He congratulated.

"Oh, thanks. hehe..." Ruby laughed embarrassed as she realized where she was again.

With that, both players left the drome, as Ruby was walking back in the pub she realized something.

"How do I get back?!" She started to panic, not noticing someone coming behind her.

"That was an impressive match." A voice said. Ruby turned around to see a young man with short dark hair slicked backwards, orange eyes and pale skin. He was wearing a black vest with orange buttons, an orange dress shirt underneath the vest, black dress pants and shoes.

"Yeah, thanks..." Ruby said looking down.

"What's the matter? You seem awfully down for someone who just won their first Chaotic match." He asked.

"Oh, well, I just got here but I have no idea how to get home..." She looked down sadly.

"Is that all?" He questioned. "I can help you with that easy!" He said.

"Really?!" Ruby exclaimed looking at him with hopeful eyes.

"Of course, just pass me your scanner and I can set it to take you home." He told her and Ruby passed him the device.

He fiddled with it as they walked through the pub. "Ok, I've set it up. Just go stand over there and hit this button and you should be home in no time." Isaac explained to Ruby.

"Thank you so much!" Ruby exclaimed as she grabbed her scanner and went to the port court. "Maybe we can have a match against each other some time, good bye!" She said as she teleported out.

Isaac merely turned around and chuckled to himself, a crooked grin plastered on his face.

"Oh I doubt that." He said darkly.

Ruby had teleported out of the pub but instead of being back home she was in what looked like a volcanic, lava filled cave.

Suddenly, the ground shook and she fell to her knees as she heard an explosion. She turned around to see where it came frome to fine a fire ball heading straight towards her.

"AAAAHH!" She screamed

A/N: There you go, my new RWBY/Chaotic crossover story, and I'm pretty sure the 3rd ever RWBY/Chaotic crossover.

Also yes, I did base her screen name off Alucard's Twitter name.

Edit: Just found out Lord Van Bloot can't use Fire or Air attacks (which is dumb if you ask me) and only Earth attacks so I changed the story a little bit to fit better.

Edit 2: Changed Whitley's screen name to one that would make a bit more sense and save the JackFrost screen name for someone else I might make up and put in the story later. (Preferably someone named Jack.)
