Author's notes: Hello to anyone interested in this story or future works! This is my very first fic, so please bear with me and leave a review if I've made a mistake in any way. Your feedback is very much appreciated!

On another note, I'll do my best not to stray from canon DxD, or make any character OC-ish. As I've said, I am new to writing fanfiction, but I hope to not make a trashfic of the DxD world as I've seen with other works.

With that said, I do not own DxD or Elden Ring. This work is my odd idea of a crossover between the two, so I hope you enjoy it!

The lost Empyrean

Prologue

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, The lands between.

She couldn't believe it. It was impossible.

'How could I let this happen?'

She was the strongest of the Empyreans. Despite being afflicted with the scarlet rot, she had fought the conqueror of the stars to a standstill. Even with having prosthetics, she was peerless, unmatched, undefe-

"Man, rivers of blood is a cheat."

She could not believe it. He had only a loincloth to cover his modesty, and a damned jar on his head! Yet, What else could she do now but commend this Tarnished warrior?

"Your strength, extraordinary... The mark... of a-"

Just as she had seen those blades of blood and frost clash against her own before, she had recognized them once more, even as the crimson one was stabbing into her skull.

'Miquella... forgive me...'

With that final though, Malenia, blade of Miquella, Goddess of rot, was no more. Or so she thought...

...

Unknown

HE was not pleased. She could tell, much to her satisfaction.

"Baka red..."

It was obvious to her, of just why he was so angry, even if he did not show it.

"L-lady ophis... the representatives for the old Satan faction are waiting for you in the meeting room."

"Unimportant."

she coolly replied. She could sense the little magician girl become flustered at being brushed off so quickly.

"B-but..."

"An outer god has breached the dimensional gap and is currently walking the earth."

Ophis had no care for the girl's feelings, not in the slightest. All she cared for was retaking her sweet silence. Yet, the appearance of an outer god...

Le Fay, on the other hand, was quivering. She had no idea how to respond to that.

Prologue End

After Notes: Well, what do you think? I hope I captured the Ophis scene perfectly, and I enjoyed writing Malenia's defeat. Let Me Solo Her just seemed perfect. Anyways, how Malenia breached the dimensional gap will be explained in later chapters, as well as why Ophis has gained interest.

A small side note, I'm planning another fic involving Solomon from Fate/ Grand order, brought into DxD. Details on that to come later.

Anyhow, leave a comment! Like it, hate it, your feedback is greatly appreciated!
