In another world full of monsters and magic, there lives a boy with bushy dark-green hair which sticks up in odd areas with cheek marks of a huge star company of other tiny stars that act like freckles.
His name is Izuku Butterfly, the prince of Mewni.
"Oh my god oh my god oh my god! Today is the day! I'm going to get the wand! The royal magic wand!" Izuku was running around his room filled with excitement and apprehensiveness flowing around his body.
When you think about prince charming it's always: confidence, Gracious, Charming and gentle. Well as for Izuku, the only thing he aced in those traits are gentleness.
Izuku is a shy, reserved, and polite boy who greatly resembles his mother and inherited some of his grandmother's behavior.
"Your majesty, We know you're excited but you need to look the part… First impressions are essential to success, you know." The royal servant: name Manfred stated, nose raised up high and while the maids holding the outfit at his back bowed respectfully to Izuku.
"I know, I know it's just-"
" "Just so exciting." Yes your majesty we heard you so many times now… Additionally, finishing quickly would greatly aid in maintaining your favorable impression."
"Oh yeah… " suddenly the feeling of dread washed up towards the young prince's veins.
Izuku was so preoccupied with preparing his wand coronation day that he entirely forgot to dress the part.
Fortunately, Manfred observed his anguish and gave the maid the go-ahead to prepare the prince's coronation attire, which caused Izuku to smile a little. He dons a more luxurious, elegant outfit.
When the princess or prince reaches the age of 15. The queen will bestow upon their child the greatest and precious family heirloom: The royal magical wand, that has passed down to the new generation of queens to carry their legacy. The magic and their responsibility for the people, and this duty will be of huge benefit to the public and its users.
"Okay…" he took a long deep breath in an effort to calm his anxiety, "let's do this."
As the two large doors open he sees the nobility, Duch, and Duchess who watches him. Izuku experienced at least 15 butterflies in his stomach, no pun intended.
He walked towards his mother who was waiting for him above the throne hall while there were about 30 people following his every move.
He is also aware that his mindset is not helpful and that he cannot allow anxiety to control his body. On the top of the throne, his mother waited for him.
Izuku is the son of Queen Inko, also known as Inko the Caring, who ruled the kingdom of Mewni.
She has successfully made peace with mewmans and monsters. Ever since her husband died in an ambush by monsters when Izuku was only 4 months old. Her stress and anxiety overrun her blood causing her body to slowly gain weight.
Dreading her son's safety, she negotiates a peace treaty in mewmans and monsters with the help from the magic high commission and the archduke of monsters: Batwing, who had a surprisingly good relationship with Inko.
With the treaty signed, life in Mewni and monsters became at peace.
Probably.
Although peace was made, the tensions between mewmans and monsters is still heated to this day. Regardless of whether some people disagree, this is most likely the best result after years of suffering and conflict after war after war.
"Honey, you're fidgeting…" Inko said in a whisper so that only he could hear, the boy in question stiffened up as a result, causing the queen to chuckle. He really did have his grandmother's demeanor…
"S-sorry…"Izuku whispered, he relaxed a little as he took a short breath. Maybe he should just leave, his palms are already sweating profusely.
He scans the hallway for signs that his grandmother is standing in the distance as his mother understands his wandering eyes.
"She's in her room, but she told me that she wants to see you later after this, but for now…" Inko walked towards him, wand in hand.
The royal magic wand takes on a different appearance Depending on who uses it. Inko's wand is taking the form of a staff that is white to gold with a pink crystal moon and a smaller golden moon with a wing in front. Below it was a bow with a long ribbon and a golden heart with a pink stone inside.
Inko raises her hand to indicate to stop the music, the tone of the atmosphere turns to silence as she begins the oath. " Prince Izuku Butterfly, My son, The future ruler of Mewni, Will you solemnly promise and swear to protect and provide for the people?" she recites.
"I solemnly promise." Izuku swore.
"Do you swear to take care of the royal magic wand once you have it? The universe could be destroyed if the wand were to fall into the hands of the evil forces. Do you still have the desire to accept it?"
This is the question that some of the past queens tend to ignore. Several former queens didn't do what they promised to their people, causing a bad relationship between the butterfly family and mewmans. But for Izuku, he'll keep the promise and accept the responsibility. "I do."
"Then…" Inko places the wand in both of her hands as she gestures towards him. "Prince Izuku Butterfly, I bestowed upon you the royal magical wand."
Izuku's hand trembled and his breath stopped for a second, his heart beating faster than ever before. All of the spectator's eyes are on him.
As he looks at his mother for reassurance as she motions for him to take it. This is it, his dream is finally coming true. Once the wand is his, he'll have the magic and power to protect and provide for his people just like he promised, just like one of his great grandmothers.
Izuku cautiously took the wand and hoisted it high, feeling the wand's magic.
The wand in hand weirdly felt warm, safe, and… powerful.
He immediately closed his eyes mainly due to the brightness of the light that encompassed the wand in his hands. The sudden light slowly disappears but there's something off about it. Izuku slowly opened his eyes and immediately astonished at what the wand transformed.
The wand's new form was a shield. The shield's main color was a forest green with golden edges as the front displayed huge wings with a ruby red diamond connecting them together, as four blue triangles with golden borders connecting them to the gold lines and curves to the edge.
"Woah… so cool." Izuku muttered, amazed at how it turned out. Finally, The wand is now his. He can never turn back now.
Another blast of music shook Izuku to the core, and almost dropped his shield. The audience cheers as Izuku's coronation comes to an end. He turns around to give a bow in gratitude, as he sheepishly reassures himself that no one saw his little mistake.
Oh god he's sweating more than before! Once this is over Izuku will definitely take a bath 2 times.
"Congratulations honey…" Inko said, tears of pride coming out of her eyes. This was his dream when was a little boy and now, she couldn't help but smile at her son.
"Thanks, mom."
—
After the coronation, the star cheek prince went to his grandmother's chamber and he is now standing in front of the door. Despite the fact that Izuku is a prince, no one ever wanted to play with him as a child. He only interacted with children from noble families.
After the peace treaty was signed, most noblemen weren't happy about it.
To them, the signing of the peace treaty was a proof that the queen was too incompetent to rule, too afraid to anger the monsters. Their fear was justified, given the history between the two races.
Ever since Izuku was a baby, he didn't go outside of the castle very much.
Still fearing his safety, everytime he goes outside he's always accompanied by his guards and servants. He decided to stay inside since he doesn't understand why they just won't let him be alone and he feels horrible for them having to watch him constantly.
Because of this, he spent the majority of his childhood just bonding with his mother and grandmother: Celena the shy. He took a small breath as he knocked softly at the door.
"Grandma?"
A sound of clanking chains coming from the other room.
Then a silhouette of a woman peek through the crack of the door as a soft light illuminates her face.
The woman with periwinkle-purple crescent moon marks on her cheeks, very long pink hair with a thread of white, purple eyes, and fair cream skin. She has a long, starry purple cloak on, a crimson diamond in the middle of a gold tiara with a string of pearls around it, and flowers and bells tied through one of her eyes.
Although Celena is now 80 years old, she still looks fairly young and still maintains her beauty. She brightened when she saw her grandchild.
"Izuku, there you are darling." The former queen softly said.
"Grandma!" Izuku tackles his grandma, as they hug inside the darkened room.
The space was crammed with trinkets, some of which were hung up and a cauldron is next to the shelves holding potions on the opposite side of the corner.
Both of the royalty laughed in joy, if Izuku had to say anything: he and his grandmother established close and enjoyable ties. They continued to hug inside of the room and Izuku couldn't help but feel astounded by his growth spurt. He already outgrown his mother and grandmother from the past years, in fact this is one of his biggest achievements yet.
"Grandma! Grandma! Look! Look! Look at my wand! Shield? But look!" Celena giggled at her grandchild's excitement and his childish demeanor. She'll never stop seeing him as a baby no matter what he'll do.
"My dear, what a lovely shield." Izuku smiled at her compliment as Celena examined the shield in his hands.
" You know darling, Shields symbolize defense, security, and protection. The concept behind this is simple, and the fact that this represents you. your future must be impactful and treacherous." Celena's expression changed into worry.
"Oh sweetie, I hope that you don't have to face great danger one day." Celena shutters, she hugged her grandchild closer as Izuku's face morphed with caution. His grandmother's warning shouldn't have been disregarded no matter what, with how overprotective both women are.
However, Izuku didn't see this as a bad thing. He's already next line to the throne one day and facing danger is already an issue in becoming a ruler.
"But, when it comes to people's safety. Isn't that the queen's job to protect them?" Izuku asked, he remembered what his second favorite idol had said and gave his own interpretation of it.
"Izuku, sometimes you watch too many earth warriors." Celena humorously said, making said boy flushed in embarrassment. Being called out about his hobbies was not the first thing that came to his mind.
"Grandma, they're heroes not 'earth warriors.'" Izuku pouted.
"yes, yes heroes. Sorry darling."
One of his favorite activities was to watch heroes, and because his grandma had taught him how to write, he could quickly take notes about them. Both of his mom and grandma found it weird that Izuku was taking notes about heroes but it kept Izuku content for the time being, that's fine for them.
He and his mother used to take a trip to earth on each holiday or for political assessment, which is how he learned about heroes and villains. He loves the earth just as much as Mewni.
Although the two worlds were different, the young curly hair prince could see few similarities, like quirks and magic. After digging the history of quirks and how they come to be. 80% of people on earth have a quirk, as quirks are dna-based while Magic does exist with Mewni, but it is exclusively inherited from the butterfly lineage. Nobody truly knows why it exactly happens. However, they both had abilities that would benefit their world.
One of his great grandmothers: Skywynne Butterfly, the queen of hours, is his all-time favorite queen. And also All Might, the symbol of peace, he only exists on Earth. Both of them are fairly comparable to Izuku considering they offer the people protection and support, hard-working and inspiring figures in his life.
"How about you tell me what happened with your wand passing coronation for the time being?" Celena offered, as she gently drags her grandchild to the table where there are sets of tea and biscuits.
"yeah!"
—
The gardeners love the royal garden, the Royal garden was filled to the brim with all kinds of Mewni flowers. The gardeners kept the garden beauty preserve to which the queen appreciated. The royal garden was Inko's favorite place. She and her son used to enjoy playing hide and seek in the garden. However, as kids become older they stop playing, they solely come here to unwind or just gaze at the beautiful roses.
"Glossaryck!" Izuku exclaimed as he flipped the first page of the book of spells.
The book of spells or Magic Instruction Book was handed to Izuku when he was just 6 years old since his mother and occasionally grandmother were too busy to play with him.
Izuku used to read the book and every so often used his handmade wand to practice the spells when he was little, but on his final trip to Earth, he abandoned his practice.
Several pages automatically flip as a deep blue humanoid with twelve fingers, a long nose, white beard that splits in the center, pink eyes and lips, diamond-shaped irises and pupils, and a magenta jewel embedded in his forehead float upwards. "Well, hello Izuku! What's up?"
"Glossaryck! Look! Look! Look!" Izuku excitedly chants, as he shoves the shield into Glossaryck's face. Glossaryck casually blocks Izuku's shield from slamming into his face when he extends one finger to halt it.
"Yes I can see that." Glossaryck said.
"Now, you can teach me how to cast spells!" Izuku exclaimed, sparkles dancing around his irises.
Glossaryck hummed as Izuku nervously stared at the magical teacher. "Sure, pick one." Glossaryck nonchalantly offered, and floated away from the book.
To which Izuku was vibrating with excitement. He quickly flips pages as he mutters which one is easier or more useful.
"Some of Crescenta's spells are somewhat useful but also really complex—I mean, a tentacle for an arm? But maybe it would be so amazing if it didn't want to eat my guts but she got some other spell too! Like what if i cast her-"
"Kid stop muttering, it's creeping me out." Glossaryck sighed, which made Izuku blush as he apologized. Even though Glossaryck got used to his muttering, that doesn't mean like it.
"Look, how about this?" the book automatically turned a few pages, As he pointed with a finger at what he indicated at. Izuku looked at what he gestured.
"Fireless rainbow?"
"Yes, if you can master this spell. You'll pass the first exam." Glossaryck explains, while clipping his toenails.
"Oh ok! Can you read the spell while I perform it?" Izuku requested, as he stood up turning his back at the book. He extended both of his arms, shield in hand.
"Izuku, you got to spin… and um…" Glossaryck said after pausing his reading for a moment, While Izuku struggled with spinning while attempting to perform it.
"oh! Point your wand on the ground, and raise it to the other side and say: Fireless Rainbow!" Glossaryck exclaimed, stretched out his arms and gave a leisurely order as if it were intentional.
"Fireless Rainbow!" Izuku called out the spell, The ruby diamond lit up as he drew an inverse U with a rainbow emerging from it. His eyes glisten as he observes his first successful spell.
"Glossaryck! I did it! I did it!" Izuku exclaimed, now facing Glossaryck. Due to his excitement, he's completely oblivious that his rainbow flared up with fires at the top.
Glossaryck notices the particular fire and calls out the prince's name as the fire quickly spreads to the ground and to the small bushes.
"Umm… Izuku…" Glossaryck alerted Izuku to the fire when he noticed it. But Izuku didn't notice Glossaryck's alarm, as he gushed about his accomplishments.
"I have to tell grandma and mom about this! I have to-"
"IZUKU!" he finally noticed after shouting the prince's name louder.
"Huh? What is it Glossaryck?"
Izuku looked at Glossaryck in confusion as Glossaryck pointed his finger at his back where his rainbow settled. The prince finally looked at his back and screamed as he saw the royal garden lit up with flames. The majority of the plants and flowers in the garden were in flames, and Izuku is distressed and horrified coursing through him. All of the royal gardeners were going to be furious if they found out about this! Mom will be devastated!
"Oh no oh no oh no! Glossaryck, what do I do?!" Izuku turns his head at the tiny blue man, Another wave of panic wash all over his body when the said man and the book are nowhere to be seen.
"GLOSSARYCK?! GLOSSARYCK WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"IZUKU?! BABY?!"
To complete the cake of shame, Inko butterfly sees the destruction and runs onto a wall of flames with fear in her face.
His body stiffened up as he heard his mother's voice, he didn't want his mom to see this! Why does it have to be this way? He only wants to show his mom and grandma how amazing his spell casting was! Not this!
The queen finally saw her son standing shield in hand and ignoring the flaming rainbow right in front of them. Inko runs towards her son to inspect his body for burns.
"OH MY BABY! YOU'RE OKAY! LET"S GET OUT OF HERE!" She grabs her son by the hand and flees the burning garden.
Both of them got out of the inferno safely. Izuku observed the servants extinguishing the flames by utilizing the well and fountain as they exited the inferno, and Izuku witnessed the gardeners' anguished faces. Because of that, his stomach twisted in the wrong way. Izuku's eyes felt on the verge of crying as he took a seat beside his mother on the bench outside.
"Honey… What happened?" she puts her left hand on his shoulder as Inko asked with a tone of worry. It's only been a couple of days since his wand coronation; this isn't how his face should be.
"Mom… I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to destroy the garden! I swear! I was just practicing!" Izuku cried while explaining about what happened before the fire. Inko wiped her son's tears away, being a crybaby herself she couldn't help but smile at how similar they both are.
"Don't worry, honey…" Inko's reassurance was cut off by Izuku's interjection.
"NO MOM! It's not okay!" Inko was surprised by his scream, Izuku looked down at the ground, completely finding his expression.
"It's just… I know it's my first time doing magic, but… even if I can't cast any basic spells right and I destroy your favorite place and-and what if I destroy the magic instruction book? I'll probably destroy the castle too?! I'll destroy our history…i…i" More tears flowing down his star mark cheeks. Izuku leaves the flaming garden with his shield and especially his mother as he stands up and lowers his head in humiliation.
"Izuku…" Inko muttered as she looked at her son's back dejected posture and she couldn't help but feel anguish.
—
The living room is filled to the brim with books, tables, chandels and where the magic instruction book is laid at the center of attention.
"Mom, what should I do… Izuku has been feeling down and I can't let him lock himself in his room for the rest of his life." Inko questioned in their living room.
"What's wrong with that?" Celena asked, She was a loner growing up, so she didn't realize how bad that kind of habit could have been for him.
"No mom… with how energetic he is, I don't think it's good for him." Inko answered, Izuku has been isolated in his room for three days. He only leaves the room when it is time for meals. With his self made quarantine, Inko had grown concerned.
"How about you give him some experience?" Both of the women look at who said it. They both witnessed Glossaryck swimming in the air as if there were water.
"What?" the queen asked, confused about what Glossaryck uttered.
"You know, like self discovery, adventure or something like that." Glossaryck said it in a nonchalant tone.
"Self discovery? But how? There's almost nothing left for him to learn here… wait…like letting him out of the castle?" Inko finally realized what Glossaryck implied, which he only answered with a shrug.
Inko didn't like that idea. When they traveled to Earth when Izuku was four, he was a curious and wary young kid whose eyes would light up anytime he watched heroes defending their fellow humans. But, what Izuku didn't see, is the dark side of that kind of job that the hero faced. And she's not the only one who felt that way.
"No, he's not ready yet… he's not…" Celena wants to deny that kind of suggestion. She didn't want her daughter to go through any more heartbreak and endanger her only grandson.
"I didn't say that, but if it helps him to grow as a person. go for it! but it's not my decision to make. Neither is yours." Glossaryck said, causing the both women to look at each with a grimace splatter throughout their faces.
"Look… he's a growing boy, he needs to make his own choices. It's his decision to make, whether it's good or bad, both of them are needed to grow." With the last sentence said, Inko looked down at the floor thinking about what Glossaryck uttered.
"Yeah… he's right, Izuku will one day make his own decision. He is his own person I… I guess I never would have thought how close that day was…" Inko worryingly said with a small amount of tears fell her eyes through her cheek mark that resembles a teardrop, Her hands trembles as she clutch her peach dress.
She never wanted her only child to get hurt or anything bad happen to him, but Izuku was now 15, a teenager, not her little baby anymore.
"You know Glossaryck, you can be serious if you want to be… and where did the Glossaryck who eats too much pudding for his own good, go?" Inko jokes to lighten up the depressing silent room as she removes tears in her round face, which made Celena somberly giggles at her daughter's remarks.
"What? I can be adviceful to you know?"
—
Even after apologizing to the gardener for setting their garden on fire and even with some of them accepting his apology while the others didn't, the prince with the green hair locked himself up in the dark room for the past three days still feeling bad about his failure. His shield sitting at his table filled with action figures of All Might, Other heroes and of course his mother hand made Skywynne doll.
"Ha ha ha ha! Fear not, citizens! Hope has arrived, because I am here!"
The sound of a booming voice echoed throughout his quiet room, the young prince watched his most favorite video in his interdimensional mirror. Usually an interdimensional mirror only receives a call or a message but his mirror is a little different. By giving it an interdimensional connection, he can watch videos or show all across the universe.
"I wish I could be as cool as him…" Izuku muttered bitterly, still downcast about his mistake.
He knows what he said to his mother was stupid, he'll never blame his mom for being too protective. He especially knows that he was being over dramatic as he squirmed in embarrassment.
He's so stupid! He really is stupid!
A sudden knock interrupted his woes.
"Izuku? Honey, Can I come in?" He heard his mother's voice on the other side of the door.
"Sure…" Izuku said in a loud whisper. Inko turns the doorknob as she enters, then approaches her son while observing him gazing at his mirror.
"Hey mom, I'm sorry that I yelled at you… I was overreacting too much, so… I'm sorry." Izuku apologizes, He felt mortification seeping through his head. He changes his posture to folding his knees and cradling his head in his arms.
'apologize to her properly! You are a prince! This is the easiest part! So why can't you?' he thought.
Inko didn't like how dejected her son's posture was. Pausing the mirror, Inko sat next to her son in an effort to comfort him. Izuku raises his head after feeling a hand on his shoulders, he turns his head toward his mother with a comforting smile.
Izuku only looked at his mother in a dejected expression. In a brief moment, Inko recalls something all of a sudden.
"You know, I almost destroyed our living room when I was the same age as you…"
Izuku was surprised about what his mother uttered. Her?! His mom also nearly destroyed something when she was young too?! Inko giggled at her son's wide eyed expression.
"Really?! How?!" Izuku exclaims, Izuku was taken aback in surprise as he put his problems behind him. He changes his posture as he sets his knees down and gets close to his mother, which causes her to flinch slightly in bafflement. However, that was enough for Inko, who giggled.
"Mhmm… I was practicing the Warnicorn Stampede in our living room. I was excited as well when I received the wand, and well…" Inko recalls as she and Izuku snorted in amusement.
"And?"
"Well… both of your grandparents were kinda mad but they're mostly relieved that I got out of there alive. In fact, after your grandma didn't let me out of their room for 2 weeks, she kept giving me blankets and potions of protection! And everytime i leave the bed she would be there beside me, even when I go to the bathroom!"
Inko and Izuku both laughed at the story, completely filling the room with contentment. Inko was happy to see her son smile again, and telling him about her mistakes in the past makes him smile a little, that's fine for her. Besides, every journey has its ups and downs, if there isn't, that is more than a miracle. Speaking of journeys…
"Izuku, there's something I've been meaning to tell you about…" Inko said in a whisper as she lowered her head. She didn't want to, but she knew that if she wanted Izuku to succeed, she would have to.
Izuku was concerned by his mother's expression. Usually her expressions were always gentle and loving, not down and unsettled.
"What is it mom?"
"Izuku, my baby… I've been thinking… you're a teenager now, and keeping you cooped up in the castle wouldn't be good for you to grow as a person and your well being. So your grandma and I thought, what if we let you out of the castle? to explore, have an adventure and make new friends! So what if we sent you to earth? To learn and improve your power there? Like one of those people you watch?" Inko proposed, The queen expanded on her thoughts on the situation to which Izuku's eyes widened as his mother delivered a shocking revelation.
The prince's lips parted. "Woah?! Really mom?! But—" Izuku was cut off before he continued his rambling.
"Yes, besides once you get back you'll surprise our people! With your fighting skills and knowledge you gain while staying on earth." Inko added, as for her last sentence, whisper in dejection.
"Staying on earth? Why?" The star cheek prince didn't understand what his mother had said.
"Izuku, you need a new experience that doesn't involve us. That you don't need our guidance to make your own choices in life… and whatever you choose to be, I hope that you know that we love you no matter what…" Inko finished, as she and her son starts the waterwork.
"Mom, I love you too!" Izuku cried.
After finishing their crying, both royalty regain their composure and stop their waterfall as Inko holds her son's hands as she soothes his back hands.
"So Izuku, do you accept it? Do you wanna go to earth?" Inko offered, even though it hurt her.
"Yes! I'll go to earth and improve! I'll show them that I'll be a great ruler one day! I promise! I won't let you guys down!" Izuku answered with determination while sniffling and attempting to wipe away his tears.
" but I already am…" the queen whispered.

In the bustling city of Musutafu, Japan. In the prestigious high school: UA Academy, all of the staff members are preparing for the UA Entrance exam, which will begin in five days. The principal of such an exemplary high school sits behind his desk doing paperwork and such.
The principal was certainly not a man: He has a mouse-like head, black eyes that are circular, a huge scar over the right eye, somewhat rectangular ears that slant outward from the top of his head, and a short round nose. The principal was a rare one, the only known animal acquiring a quirk, his quirk: high spec, gives the user superior intelligence, perception, and understanding to that of any human.
The principal was busy with his paperwork full of recommended students. His beedie dough eyes as he inspect the paper one by one. The students' achievement and quirk amazes the principal but that doesn't mean he's surprised.
"Shouto Todoroki, the number 2 hero's son, I guess I'm not honestly shocked. That child will undoubtedly follow in his father's footsteps and grow up to be a hero." Nezu stated to himself, as he read the recommended registration of another student.
The knock on the principal's office door distracted him from his reading. "Come in." Nezu lightly commanded. Hizashi Yamada, also known by his hero name, Present Mic, His head is just fully visible after he slightly opens the door.
"Yo, there's um… there's a fancy woman at the entrance, and she requested to call you…sir…" Present Mic said in a questioning and hesitant tone.
"Fancy woman?" Nezu was perplexed with Present Mic's questionable information as the hero only answered with a shrug and closed the door only leaving a confused animal. He pushes his revolving chair and spins to see below about what the pro hero announced in his large window.
The rodent principal was stunned into silence.
His research about Mewni and its royal ancestry was his biggest unsolved mystery. Nobody is sure of Mewni's whereabouts, and he has his doubts about the claim that two travelers found it by accident. And if such were the case, why didn't they reveal its location or the presence of any Mewni people?
The only source of information about its existence is their monarchy who still ruled their country. The past queens visit every country for political purposes or vacations, However, the world were actually not aware of their identities; this is another enigma to which no one in the world has the solution, and little is known about its origins.
However, due to Nezu's persistence and influence, he was able to track down some images of previous queens. He also noted a strange detail in the image. the cheek marks.
Every queen has a unique set of cheek marks, to Spade, Bunny or an infinity. And because of that just seeing a woman with teardrop cheek marks he couldn't help but to high tail out of his office making his coworkers startled in surprise and confusion. They had never seen the principal so overwhelmed with excitement before.
"Woah, what's up with him?" A pale-skinned, tall, slim man with shoulder-length, unkempt black hair asked his colleague. As the principal ran past them.
"I don't know? It's probably the fancy lady outside, I would be probably excited too because that lady got lions. I mean she got real lions outside!" Present Mic said with awestruck expression. Due to his hero work he never saw a lion up close even when he was little.
The unkempt man looked at his coworker in a reserved demeanor.
"You're an idiot…" the unkempt man muttered, his loud mouth friend gasping in dramatic gestures.
"Hey! That's mean!" Present Mic said with even more dramatic flair while playfully clutching his leather jacket. which the unkempt man started walking away from the melodramatic man.
"Hey wait! I was only joking! Come back!" Present Mic shouted, even without using his quirk, he was still loud as a speaker. The unkempt man still continued his walk as he gained more speed.
—
Earlier:
"Is this the place?"
Outside of the UA entrance, Inko stands in an awed expression. She had previously heard about UA from Izuku's adoring statements, but she wouldn't have thought of how huge the building was! She found it shocking to say the least even if it's still smaller than the butterfly castle.
"Hey lady!" Inko closes her gaping mouth as she hears a male voice.
A Tall man with a little brown mustache and long, blond hair that is styled upward and wearing a black jacket, and a huge speaker covering his neck runs towards her.
"Hey there ma'am! Is there something you need? I was just passing by and I saw you standing around. Do you need any help?" the vibrant man asked, the man wandered his eyes for just a second at her back and she saw his eyes widen.
"Is…is-s that a lion…?" The vibrant man mumbled, he slowly pointed at the Royal stagecoach. The Royal stagecoach or carriage is mostly white in color, with a royal blue roof, flag, and four yellow wheels. There are two manticores pulling it. Since she doesn't know what the lions were, he may assume that the two manticores look similar to a lion.
"umm… sir?"
The vibrant man snapped out of his astonishment, he down at the small woman in apologetic expression. " O-oh! I'm sorry ma'am! I didn't mean to disregard you!"
"No-no it's fine! Can you just call the owner of this school establishment? I need to speak to them." Inko reassure as she queried, While the vibrant man gave the queen a bewildered glance.
"You mean the principal? I don't know… we're kinda busy with the entrance exam." the vibrant man explains to which the queen looks at the man with a little expression of seriousness.
"Please good sir, I just need to request something." Inko requested, If Izuku wanted to learn something on earth, Inko will enroll her son to the best academy in this dimension. The vibrant man answered with a nod and walked over to the enormous structure as he regarded the woman with a curious expression.
After waiting for 5 minutes, some of the citizens began to act curiously toward the Mewni monarchy. One of the manticores growled at one of them as some of them brought out their phones to take pictures of it.
Suddenly the queen heard small footsteps and saw a small creature run towards her at such high speed. The small creature stops his track right in front of her, Inko was alarmed and distressed but then she remembered that all of the humans had these so-called quirks. the queen's expression becomes serene as she observes the large rodent.
"Oh your majesty! I was unaware that you were coming! What brings you here at UA ground?" the creature asked.
Inko was curious about how the creature was aware of her royal status; prior to that, there's been troubling her. "Can we discuss this inside? I feel uneasy here because of the people…" Inko crutch down say in muted tones. Luckily, The creature heard her distress comment and handed her a plastic rectangle with the UA brand.
"Hold on to that, Your Majesty; Now, let's head inside for some tea. Which type of tea would you prefer, Your Highness?" The anthropomorphic animal motions for them to enter to which the queen follows.
"Oh! Manfred, I'll call you when I get back okay?" Inko said, almost forgetting her carriage.
"Certainly your majesty." Manfred replied, he sliced the air with the dimensional scissor as though it were a fabric. The royal stagecoach entered the glowing portal and was stitched back together as it vanished into thin air.
Inko turned back around to the creature but she didn't expect that the creature's eyes would grow to size. Before Inko could inquire as to the creature's wellbeing, he returned to his usual demeanor as if nothing had happened.
The queen is still puzzled by what happened, but that is not the point because she is here for Izuku's sake. They continue their journey within the building. The walk was quiet but comfortable which Inko appreciated.
"Hey! That's mean!" She heard the familiar voice. The queen turned her head to the left and saw the vibrant man chasing the unkempt man who walked away faster. Inko couldn't help but giggled in silence.
"We're here!" The creature announced, the queen startled at his announcement.
They enter the office, Inko notices the table filled with paperwork. The queen sympathized with the anthropomorphic animal because she experienced the same emotions when performing her duties. The rodent approached his table and made an effort to clean up the mess.
"Sorry for the mess… your majesty, please take a seat." The creature apologizes as the rodent gestures to the chair on the opposite side of him.
"No no it's fine!" the queen reassures the creature, as she takes a seat.
"Now, let me introduce myself; am I a dog? or a mouse or a bear, but more importantly... I'm the principal! The name's Nezu! at your service!" The creature named Nezu introduced himself in an enthusiastic tone. The queen was taken aback but thought the introduction was amusing despite her shock.
"Well I guess it's my turn." She took a deep breath and announced her introduction.
"My name is Inko Butterfly, The queen of Mewni but i guess you already know about it. Nice to meet you." she finished. The principal, who had glimmers in his dark eyes, caught Inko's attention. The reason the principal kept looking at her like a rare species baffled Inko. The principal's tone quickly changed back to a pleasant and composed expression before she could inquire why again.
Nezu cleared his table and brewed some tea. "So, your highness… What brings you to UA? I never expected to have visitors on this day! Would you like some tea, your majesty?"
"Oh, thank you…" Nezu extended his hand with a cup of tea, which Inko accepted and sipped. Inko liked the taste of the tea, the tea was not too sweet nor bitter at her tongue which she appreciated. "Sir principal, I only came to this academy to enroll my son here…" Inko said as she took another sip of the warm tea.
"Really? Is that all your majesty? You are aware, Your Highness, that there will be no issues with enrolling your son here! There would also be no issues at all if a prince also happened to want to be a hero." Nezu inquired, realizing that although it was a little late, there was no difficulty accepting a new pupil.
"The problem is that he isn't here to be a hero; rather, he is training to become Mewni's future ruler."
Nezu was nevertheless shocked, training to be the new Mewni's ruler? This is new to him. However, why would a royalty need to train here? The goal of this school was to equip aspiring heroes for battle and defense against villainous attacks and rescue missions. So why?
Inko unintentionally answered his questions.
"I want my son to enroll here so that he can discover his strengths and learn how to handle his power. Also making new friends while staying here and I want them to treat him the same way that the other people have; I don't want my son to treat him any differently. Please allow my son to enroll here so that he can experience what his future friends will also have." the queen begged.
"I see." The anthropomorphic animal was a little confused with the explanation, however he understands now what the queen is implying. But, seeing what the royalty's power in close was intriguing.
When it comes to quirks, he theorizes that some of the mewni's people would have quirks. But, This was another mystery that he found oddly funny, But given that the location was a closed country. However, if the queen of Mewni requesting him to enroll her son.
"Well, I don't see why not? It's been a while since we have rare entries nowadays."
"R-really?! I'm grateful. I greatly appreciate it." When Inko expressed her thankfulness, tears started to roll down her teardrop cheek mark, and the principal smiled and offered her a box of tissues. "Oh my, your majesty, you don't have to cry about it!"
"O-oh-oh! Sorry!" Inko apologized, with a variety of gestures as Nezu poured another drink for him and the queen to which she was grateful. She took a sip, feeling her taste buds satisfied by the beverage. but she quickly realized there was another issue.
"Ah! I almost forgot!"
—
Izuku's room was nearly deserted since all of Izuku's clothes, items and action figures were already packed up in his luggage and chest well, except his shield.
He found it hard to believe he was enrolling in UA Academy. It is thought that UA is the best Hero Academy in Japan, if not the entire earth, and is the top-ranked high school for heroics and the fact that he's attending UA he couldn't help but be excited.
And because of his excitement, he double checked the luggage and chest 3 times in a row, just in case he forgot something while also mumbling and muttering. He was vibrating with ecstasy causing him to get distracted very easily.
"Darling?"
The sudden voice terrified the star cheek prince as he jumped a little and quickly regained his insanity.
"Grandma! Don't do that!" Izuku whined.
"Oh sorry dear." Celena said, chuckling at her grandson's demeanor. She went into his mostly vacant room, carrying an unknown object. She didn't like that Izuku was leaving, and she couldn't help but feel dread in her gut.
"Izuku, I'm gonna miss you so much. Please come visit once in a while, okay?" Celena requested.
She gestures for his hand to which Izuku obliged. The former queen held her grandchild's hand and turned it so that his palm was exposed. Celena placed something in his hand, but he wasn't expecting his grandmother to give him a pair of scissors with green and gold blades. However, these weren't just any scissors: they were dimensional scissors.
"Dimensional scissors?" Izuku whispered in surprise, brushing his other unoccupied hand in the golden blades.
Celena smiled at her grandchild's astonished expression. "It's now yours…"
Izuku looked at his grandma in disbelief. This scissor? His?! What!? Izuku's hands trembled in shock as Celena chuckled at his manners.
"I requested Hekapoo to create this."
Celena looked at her grandson's hand, which were holding the scissors, while she gave them a loving glance. Suddenly, her face took on a cautious look.
"Izuku, please don't loose this and keep it safe. You are already aware of how valuable this is." Celena warned, now gripping Izuku's hand as she looked at him with a serious look.
Izuku understood it and nodded. He moved away from her as his cape swoosh a little and toward the chest holding his figurines and hero notes. He knelt down and unlocked the chest. To keep it hidden and make it appear as normal as possible, he placed the dimensional scissors at the bottom of the notes. Izuku gets to his feet and makes his way back to his grandmother while smiling.
Knowing they don't have much time to be together or simply talk about whatever they want, the star-freckled prince gives her one more hug. Izuku wished that his grandmother and mother would join him.
Izuku wished that his mom and grandma would come with him. But, they specifically said that they won't be there for him. But also! They will support him no matter what, right? Of course they would!
Besides, he promised that he'll be back.
"I'm going to miss you darling." the former queen sadly murmured, As she stroked her grandchild's hair.
"Me too…" he said, His eyes were weeping a little.
Izuku let go of his grandmother's hand as their embrace came to an end. He began packing his clothes while also requesting assistance from the servants to bring the luggage and chest to the carriage.
While strapping his shield in his right arm, he couldn't help but look around the castle as if he was a tourist not a prince. He'll be leaving this place, this palace, his home.
Another wave of tears flowed down his star-freckled cheek. They reach the outside of the butterfly castle where his mother waited for him.
Izuku gave his luggage to the servant's outstretched arms as he walked forward to his mother, who was beside the stagecoach.
"Izuku…"
"Mom…"
Just like Celena, Inko and Izuku give each other a hug. Inko didn't like this at all, she wished that she could go back in time to pretend that everything was in place, that nothing was missing.
But, Izuku chose this path and Inko was the one who made the suggestion. There's nothing she can do.
"Izuku, call us alright?" Inko asked, she held her son's starry cheeks and gave it a small squeeze. He still has some small baby fat which she is gonna miss. She removes her son's tear track and pulls his face towards her and kisses his forehead to which he laughed at her actions.
"Yeah, I'll call you guys." Izuku answered, he once again let go of his mother cradling hands.
Once the carriage was ready to go, Izuku entered the stagecoach and wave at his mother at the exposed window.
"I love you!" Inko announced, to which Izuku smiled warmly at her.
"I love you too!" He replied and waves one last time at her.
The stagecoach began to move as Manfred finished opening the portal. Despite having been to earth before, the prince became nervous when he saw the portal. He couldn't help but feel both exhilaration and anxiety fill his body.
This is it! He was now only his own for the first time, He took a large deep breath before his wand passing coronation.
After leaving the portal, the stagecoach arrived on earth. Izuku looks around the huge rectangular structure while he's in the carriage, his expression was full of awe and amazement.
"Woah! It's been awhile, Is this Musutafu city? I see some new buildings have been added!"
His wandering eyes stop as does the carriage. The prince looks outside of the window to see the ever prestigious school: The UA High.
'Mom was right! It looks bigger than the pictures! Though it's smaller than the butterfly castle, but still!' Izuku thought, he remembered what his mother said when she got back from UA.
Izuku got out of the stagecoach leaving his luggage and shield inside the carriage, as noticed how many humans were taking pictures of him and the stagecoach but, mostly the stagecoach. He was surprised to put it lightly. Is this what his great uncle jushtin and his group constantly doing?
Fortunately, The flashing lights stopped as some people wearing a safety vest were worn on top of a light blue button-up shirt. Whoever they were, he was thankful for their help. Then he hears a high pitched sound.
"I'm sorry about that!"
To find out who he heard, he turned back to the UA gate. He continued to search for the source of the high-pitched, polite tone.
"Down here!' Izuku looked down and was taken aback by what he saw. There's an anthropomorphic animal in front of him! What kind of an animal is he? Is he a rat? He looks a lot like a baby polar bear! Why does he have a scar? What happe—
"My my, aren't you curious? I certainly hope you don't look around too much! Curiosity killed a cat after all." the unknown creature warned, to which Izuku recoiled a little and bow profusely in apology to which the anthropomorphic chuckle at his action.
"Your majesty, everything is okay. Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Nezu, and I'm the head of this UA academy!" The creature known as Nezu announces in a cheery tone.
Izuku's eyes bulged out, he never thought that this creature is the principal of this prestigious UA?! Really?! Honestly he shouldn't be surprised, His mother enrolled him at UA, making him likely the first royalty to ever attend a hero high school.
"Your majesty, How about we head to your temporary residence? Follow me if you'd please!" The creature requested. The small animal walks away from the young prince and boards a jet black metal carriage. The black tinted window rolled down as the small creature pops his head out and said: "please follow me to your destination!"
The young prince was confused but he agreed to his request as he entered once again in his stagecoach.
"Follow that black metal." Izuku orders the Reinsman, the driver hears his order to which he commands the manticores to pull the stagecoach.
The stagecoach and the black metallic carriage both started moving forward. Izuku enjoyed the voyage and felt comfortable as he surveyed the bustling city, completely oblivious to the people's shock and the flashing lights that were pointed directly at the royal carriage.
"Woah! Is that a hero!? No way I just saw a pro hero on patrol! So cool!" His enthusiasm grew as he witnessed a massive woman kicking another equally large, hulking, and muscular man. His eyes sparkled and he wished that his notebook was beside him. He doesn't know why, but he enjoys writing about heroes and their powers. If this helps him in his desire to become a great ruler like his great grandmothers and mother, he will put a lot of effort into it, to make everyone proud!
They turn into a different street full with modest homes and lovely flowers, the star freckled cheek prince smiled broadly as he watched the kids having fun. He couldn't help but smile a little wider as he suddenly remembered his first time visiting this world's playground.
Izuku turned to gaze at the kids racing after the stagecoach on the sidewalk; one of them, that child waves at him, and he reciprocates the gesture. They stop their chasing and tell his friends that they saw the star-cheeked person inside, the children's eyes twinkle.
"Guys! There's some guy inside the ride!"
"Woah really! What's he look like?"
"He looks like a bush! And he has stars on his cheek and he also looks like a prince!"
"Woah really!?"
"Yeah!"
Izuku laughed when he overheard children talking loudly, which gradually faded as the distance stretched.
'Kids are surely lively here…' he thought.
They turn into another street as the view of the houses changes to tall apartment buildings and some of the cars are parked in different directions. Both the carriage and the car in front of them came to a stop, Izuku stepped out of the stagecoach with his shield and the rodent creature sprang out from the jet black vehicle.
The young prince looks around the place they stopped. He blushed excessively from head to toe as he noticed a few people staring at him. He covered his face with his shield to cover off his discomfort.
"Let's get your belongings now, Your Highness, and follow me!"
Izuku lowered his shield as he answered with a nod, "Umm… guys can you carry my luggage?" He asked his servant to carry his luggage and chest, and the servant carried out his request.
They enter the apartment complex; given how similar they all are, there isn't much to say about it. They walk in the flight of stairs. Izuku arrived at the third floor of the structure quicker than he anticipated, thanks to his years of climbing up and down the stairs within the castle.
They faced the door of the apartment, there's nothing redeeming qualities about it since there's no any decoration or even the other doors that they passed earlier. As Nezu walked in front of him, The anthropomorphic animal knocked on the brown door and awaited the person on the other side.
"You'll be residing with one of my instructors! Oh, don't fret! You can trust him given that he is a professional hero." Nezu reassures the young fidgeting prince to whom he was excited. A pro hero?! He's going to be roommates with a pro?! How cool is that!
"I hope that he doesn't find me weird." Izuku mumbles.
At this moment, Izuku was a worried wreck because he was living alone for the first time, though not really. According to his mother, she asked the principal to watch over him even though they wouldn't be there. Well, because he still doesn't know the earth well enough to venture out alone...yet, for which he was grateful.
Their wait was cut short as The door gently opened after the sound of the door's internal chains. On the other side, a gruff voice grumbled tiredly as a silhouette of an unkempt man emerged.
"Oh, it's a brat…"

fun-fact or backstory:
- Only the butterfly bloodline goes through mewberty, dip down and butterfly form. (Because plot)
