Everett had a long day at Shiko Academy and honestly it was quite annoying she barely had time to play her games and then she had to deal with the fact that she met her 4 soulmates at the same time

Everett sighed "how troublesome" she whispered under her breath and walked up the stairs and took out her apartment keys only to see someone had broken into her new apartment

Everett slammed the door open "I don't know how many of you there are but you should know I'm extremely dangerous" then some vampires came out surrounding her

"What do you want" Everett said showing a glare at the vampires, the lead vampire Jek looked at her amused "where is the forbidden grimoire...tell me" Jek said trying to hypnotize her

"It's...how the hell should I know" Everett scoffed as she elbowed the guy closer to the door and ran out kicking the door closed as she jumped down and ran

Then she heard fire crackling looked back and panicked "ah mom's gonna be pissed already one day away from home and the apartment is burning down" Everett said as she ran away

Everett was trying to run faster and then got pulled into an alleyway with a hand clamped down over her mouth she was about to struggle only to hear a calm voice "relax...I'm not gonna hurt you" Everett opened her eyes and turned back to see Rem

Rem removed his hand from her mouth "you...why?" Everett felt baffled that he would save her "do not take it the wrong way I only saved you because if I didn't...my heart would have regrets for some reason" Rem mumbled the last bit to himself

"But I..." Everett was cut off by Rem "as your house is burning down you probably need a place to stay...you will stay at the kaginuki mansion for the time being" Rem said dragging her

"Wait a minute stop dragging me for a second...I don't even know your name...why would you save me...I remember that I threatened you so why..." Everett said panicking

Rem covers her mouth "you sure talk a lot for someone who looks antisocial" Rem said as he uncovered her mouth "who are you" Everett said biting her lower lip while crossing her arms

"I'm Rem Kaginuki as you have already guessed already I'm a Devil and you are a hybrid between a goddess and a devil" Rem said as Everett looked at him "you could tell" Everett said

"Yes you have the scent of a devil on you...and you have heavenly power I could sense clearly" Rem said as he pulled her towards the limo and had her get inside

'Mom's gonna be pissed when she finds out that the apartment burned down' Everett said as she pulls up the hood of her jacket and pulls her legs up to her chest

Rem looked at Everett who was sitting in the corner "where are you taking me" Everett said as she side glanced at him "As I've mentioned before the kaginuki mansion" Rem said as the limo drove to the kaginuki mansion

Everett is brought inside the mansion "I imagine you'll need a change of clothes" Rem said "yeah since my apartment has all my clothes inside and is currently burning up in Flames" Everett said with sarcasm

Rem went into the closet and brought out a fresh pair of clothes for her to try on "put these on" Rem said as he hands them to her Everett grabbed the clothes "thanks I guess" Everett muttered pulling her hood

One of Everett's soulmarks pulsed making them both freeze "you felt that pulse too" Rem said "oh look at the Time I should head to bed" Everett said going into the guest bedroom

Rem raised an eyebrow at her suspicious behavior "something tells me she's hiding something" Rem said as he walks away and into his room
