"Ugh, that hurt…"

I opened my eyes, hoping to figure out where I'd been dropped.

"Wait a second, is that…"

There, standing directly over me, was a face I hadn't hoped to see nearly so soon; Professor Ozpin, the Headmaster of Beacon Academy.

I took a closer look at my surroundings realizing that, somehow, I'd fallen through the window on the top of Beacon tower, landing myself directly into Ozpin's office.

"Shit," I thought, "you couldn't have dropped me somewhere a little more convenient, Opilit? You might as well have dropped me into Salem's castle!"

The old man standing over me looked like he'd finally noticed me waking up.

"Alright, now how to get myself out of this mess…"

After spending a few seconds thinking, I finally came up with a solution, helped in no small part by Reze's shockingly good acting skills.

"Ugh, where am I?" I said, looking around quickly, "And who are you?"

"I hope he bought it…"

"Well, young lady, you have somehow found yourself in Beacon Academy, one of the finest Huntsman Academies in the lands; as for me, I am its headmaster, Professor Ozpin," he said, "Now then, I believe you owe me an introduction yourself?"

"Alright, already got a few leads to work with…"

"Wait, lady? But I'm a-" I looked down at myself, and with all the acting skills I could muster, I gave a loud "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

"Is there something wrong?" Ozpin asked curiously.

"Yeah there is; Not even yesterday I was a dude, but now I've got boobs!" I reached up and grabbed them.

"Oh, these are actually pretty comfortable…" I shook my head, "No, I can try out my new body later, I need to finish this first"

"And another thing; I've never heard of a place called Beacon Academy, and I definitely don't know why you'd need a special place just to train people to hunt animals!"

He looked very shocked at that.

"Good, it looks like he bought it."

"You say that you've never heard of Beacon?" He looked incredulous, which made sense seeing as to how widespread knowledge of hunters actually was, "And you don't know what a huntsman is?"

"Where to go from here… oh, I know!"

"No, and if that's supposed to mean somethi-" I paused, and put on a look of intense concentration.

"Waking up somewhere I don't recognize… a new body… places I've never heard of that are apparently common knowledge…" I muttered, "Of course! I know what happened!"

He looked at me curiously, "And what would that be?"

I looked at him, and after finally standing up, I proclaimed, "I must have been Isekai'd!"

"Ise… what?"

"Isekai; Essentially, I've somehow found myself in another world!"

"I see… and what does this 'isekai' entail, exactly?" he questioned.

"Well, normally people get isekai'd for a reason… sometimes it's because they died before they were supposed to, and it's meant as a form of repayment. Other times, it's because they somehow pissed off some god, and now they're being punished for it. And of course, there's my personal favorite; someone gets transported to another world with the mission of defeating some great evil, whether that be a demon king or hordes of monsters. Of course, sometimes it happens for no reason at all, and they're free to do whatever."

"C'mon… take the bait!"

"Interesting… well then, I'd think we should get back to our discussion."

"I guess we should. Well, I suppose I should introduce myself; my name is Clark Bogdanov… though I suppose it doesn't fit me that well anymore," I scratched at my neck, and I found exactly what I was hoping for.

"Hmm? What's this?" I grabbed at the thing on my neck, which felt remarkably close to a grenade pin, "Do you have a mirror, sir?"

Ozpin looked at me for a second, before walking over to his desk and handing me a small handheld mirror that was in one of the drawers, "Here you go."

"Thanks," I said, before using the mirror to examine my neck closer. I also took the opportunity to examine my face.

"Hey, I recognize this face!" I exclaimed, causing Ozpin to gain a curious look on his face.

"And who would your face belong to, exactly?"

"It's Reze from Chainsaw Man! And if this thing coming from my neck is any indication, I think I've even gained her powers!"

"I see… tell me, how would you feel about coming with me to test these powers you say you've gained," he said, putting me one step closer to getting into Beacon.

We were now in what I assumed to be a training room. I mean, I can't see much other reason

for there to be so many dummies in here.

On our way there, we'd discussed the problem of my identity, and what he should call me. I, after realizing that I would need a new name to fit my body, creatively said to call me Reze. As for the issue of pronouns, I said I didn't really care, but feminine ones would probably fit how I am right now better.

"Now then," he said, "why don't you tell me what it is you think you can do."

I thought for a bit on what was safe to share, before realizing it didn't matter that much.

"Well, Reze is a hybrid between a devil and a human, which gives her a massive boost to her physical stats. That's not all though, as if she, or I, were to pull this little pin on our neck we would turn into Bomb Girl, making us way stronger and letting us make explosions at will."

He seemed intrigued, "Bomb girl? If you would be so kind, could you demonstrate this ability for me?"

"Sure thing! Just… don't attack me, alright?"

"Now then, why would I attack you?"

"You'll see," And with that, I pulled my pin for the first time, and as I was consumed by explosions, I transformed.

I felt my head change, becoming more elongated. My clothes were atomized, though a black dress that looked like it was made of dynamite quickly took its place. Long, black gloves appeared on each hand, only stopping right below my shoulder.

Once it was all done I felt amazing, like I'd just taken a hot shower, or woken up from a long nap.

The smoke cleared, and I saw Ozpin looking at me with one eyebrow raised.

"Jeez, you'd think he'd be a little more surprised. I mean, a girl just exploded right in front of him!"

"Well then, there's some dummies over there," he pointed away, "use whatever abilities you have on them. And don't worry about breaking it, I get a bulk discount"

"I guess it's finally time to put Reze's skills to work. How about I start with…"

I rushed forward, and once I reached the first one an explosion erupted, turning it to ash. I did this for a few more, before slowly starting to mix some acrobatics into my movements. Eventually, I'd started using my explosions to propel myself, and had been throwing fingers at other groups of dummies, detonating them remotely.

"Now then, how about we finish this off with a bang!"

I launched myself into the largest group of dummies I could find, and took off my own head, throwing it over nearby Ozpin, letting my full body detonate, decimating everything nearby.

I regenerated my body, and stood up, looking at the aftermath of my demonstration. There were craters everywhere, ranging from very small to the 2-foot deep crater my body had left. That wasn't even to mention the various scorch marks that marked the floor.

"I might have overdone it a bit…"

I looked over at the headmaster, hoping to see what he thought of my demonstration.

"Very impressive Miss Bogdanov!" He looked happy, like he'd just stumbled upon a million dollars, "tell me, how would you like to join Beacon Academy?"

I already have their team all picked out, but if anyone has any ideas for a potential pairing, please tell me

With all that out of the way, I hope to see you all again soon!
