"Previously on Total Drama Express Tour! Our nineteen contestants were shocked when our train made a surprise stop in London, the city of mystery, and very soon their pajama parties turned into a murder mystery party! All the killers were discovered, but only Team Friendship managed to avoid elimination. Celia believed she had discovered the Bermuda Triangle only to be deceived and end up eliminating Sam, and we officially inaugurated the curse of the Amazon team when that idiot Kevin was also eliminated, that bastard deserved it! Where will our contestants go today? Who will be the next to fall? Who will win, Celia or the mysterious alliance? These and more answers in today's chapter of Total Drama... Express Tour!"
It took three days for all the passengers of the McLean Express to readjust their sleep schedules after the London challenge, although the members of Team Friendship found it more bearable since they had all the comforts of the luxury wagon.
Take, for example, Harvey and Levi, who are currently watching anime on one of the TVs in the wagon.
"I really hate this arc..." Levi says, yawning.
"But this is pretty important! In episode 1023, it'll be relevant!" Harvey points out, excitedly watching the screen. "Believe me, it's the third time I've watched this series in a row, and the amount of foreshadowing I'm noticing is incredible!"
"Harvey, we're on episode 180, how can there be foreshadowing so many episodes later? it's simply impossible." Levi argues before his teammate covers his mouth with his index finger.
"Shush, don't question Oda-Sensei, just appreciate it!" Harvey exclaims, visibly excited.
Harvey has a notebook in hand, jotting down everything that happens in the episode.
"What are you writing for, by the way?" Levi asks.
"I'm just taking notes on things like chapter structure for my magnum opus!"
"That's right, you were writing that, do you know what it's going to be about already?" With that simple sentence, Levi seems to deflate all of his friend's enthusiasm in a moment.
"I'm still working on it, I'm sure this train will show me something that'll give me enough inspiration." The boy shrugs. "I'm getting more soda, do you want anything?"
"Nah, I'm good."
Harvey gets up from the couch and heads towards the food bar, only to be surprised to see Barbara sitting there. The girl is wide-eyed, watching the TV while snacking on nuts. When she notices Harvey, she jumps in surprise and immediately gets up from her seat.
"Oh, Barbara! Are you watching One Piece with us? I didn't know you enjoyed it," Harvey says.
"Me? N-No way! I just came here to steal food from you guys! That's it! I'd never watch that nerd shit!" Barbara shouts, then swiftly grabs the bowl of nuts and takes it out of the car. Harvey, with a poker face, returns to the couch and sits next to Levi.
"That was weird, don't you think?" Harvey asks.
"You shouldn't pay attention to her, that girl is so self-entitled. Don't worry, Harvey, life will give her what she deserves."
"It's not that... It's just... Forget it. Hey, it's already eleven, weren't you going to Harlan's game?" Harvey asks, looking at the wall clock.
"Oh, Harlan... I think I'll pass for today," Levi shrugs.
At that moment, they hear someone knocking on the wagon door.
"Let me, I'll handle getting rid of that girl myself," Levi says, pausing the TV and walking towards the door, opening it with force. "What do you want, you moron?"
"I-I just came for Harlan's game but... I guess I'll come back later, hehe." Contrary to what Levi expected, the person behind the door was not Barbara; instead it was Mac. The bespectacled boy simply closes the door in fright, and head back to his wagon.
Confessional
Levi — Harlan is hosting a poker game today in the luxury dorms. Normally, I would go, but... I think I'm starting to like Harlan a bit: it doesn't make sense, he's a party-crazy playboy, but... He's also considerate, a good leader, and respectful. My gut tells me it's a red flag, but... I don't think it is. I don't even know if he likes guys!
Harvey — The look I saw on Barbara... I've only seen it the first time I looked in the mirror after watching anime! Barbara is... A woman of culture!
Barbara — I want to make it perfectly clear that I don't like anime! Only loser virgins watch that!
In the luxury wagon dormitory, a large room composed of several high-quality beds, there is a center table where a game of Poker is being played between Harlan, Ashley, Gretchen, and Charlie.
"Well, last round." Harlan was the dealer, he turned the river card. Ashley was biting her lower lip as she anxiously looked at her hand, Charlie maintained a perfect expressionless face, and Gretchen was looking at her two friends with a confused expression. "You look worried, Charlie, what are you going to do?"
"Please, I'm a queen bee, I have a perfect Poker face." The girl says, raising her eyebrow with an arrogant look. "I'll raise the bet."
Charlie moves the 'chips' to the center of the table, although they don't have chips or money to bet, so in reality, the betting chips are gummy bears.
"P-p-p-p-po-poker face po-po-poker face..." Ashley hums quietly as she checks her deck. "I'll fold."
"I want to bet too!" Gretchen shouts.
"You have to say 'call,' Gretchen," Harlan explains, with a friendly smile that he has managed to maintain despite not being the first time he explains this to the girl.
"I'll call then!" Gretchen puts five gummy bears in the betting zone, and finally, everyone reveals their cards.
"I have a four of a kind, beat that." Charlie proudly declares.
Ashley reveals to only have a pair, after revealing it, the girl imitates a sad trumpet sound.
"And Gretchen has..." Harlan turns over Gretchen's cards, revealing the girl's hand. Gretchen had an Ace, a King, a Queen, a Jack, and a 10, all of hearts. "Gretchen has a Royal Flush."
"Excuse me?!" Charlie puts her hands on the table, surprised.
"What does that mean? Is it good?" Gretchen asks, confused.
"It means you won, Gretchen." Harlan explains, pushing all the gummy bears on the table towards the girl.
"Let's go! Gretchen wins! again!" Ashley goes to the girl and hugs her, both celebrating in their place.
"This makes no sense! She doesn't even know the rules of the game, and it's the third time she's won!" Charlie complains.
"Well, maybe you'll have better luck next time, Charlie." Harlan says, with a slightly mocking tone. "Alright, shall we start the next one?"
"Wait, wasn't Levi supposed to come?" Ashley asks, to which Harlan adjusts his beanie, thinking.
"Well, I invited him, but he's not showing up. And the Alpha team guys, the two with glasses? You said you invited them."
"That Jennifer girl rejected me immediately! She was so effin' rude, but the Mac-man said he was going to come, maybe he just got embarrassed." Ashley explains, lying on the floor for a moment.
"Let's start quickly! I'm getting my gummy bears back." Charlie says.
"Let's wait about three minutes, maybe Levi will come, okay?" Harlan says, pursing his lips.
Confessional
Harlan — Levi is such a cool guy but... I'm afraid he might have a bad opinion of me, you know? Between what happened with AJ and, well, maybe he's prejudging me... I don't know, I just hope we can work together.
Charlie — Do I miss my brother? Not at all, the idiot lacks a bit of... Ambition. Me, on the other hand, I'm scheming quite a few things. First, I'm trying to get on Harlan's good side; he doesn't really like me, but if I can show him I'm useful for the team, I might be able to save myself. Oh, and I almost forgot! A few days ago, I found out that the weird goth girl has a secret that embarrasses her; nobody punches me and gets away with it, so my revenge is going to be amazing.
Ashley — I really tried to give that girl Jennifer a chance, but she's such a killjoy! Nobody likes killjoys! Blink 182 said nobody should take themselves so seriously, and that girl does exactly the contrary!
Jennifer — I didn't go to the Poker game because I don't like that group of people, Harlan, Ashley, Gretchen, they're just slackers. We're in the game to make money, not to play cards on the train.
Mac — I like the people from Team Friendship; Ashley and Gretchen remind me a bit of my sisters b-but... Charlie? Charlie terrifies me.
Gretchen — Even though Charlie can sometimes be mean, she treats me very well, and that's why she's my Bestie! Also I really like Ashley, she's like the big sis I always wanted to have! (Gretchen looks down for a second and is surprised to find something) Oh, Hi, Mr. Gummy Bear! Did you get lost?
Celia had taken advantage of the discovery of the trapdoors and found herself sitting on the roof of the Amazon's wagon, gazing at the sky relaxedly. The landscape where the contestants are right now shows a vast wet plain and small wooded areas.
"Celia! Could you please come down?" Corey asks, looking from the wagon to the trapdoor. "You could get hurt."
"Hey! Coco!" Celia leans out from the trapdoor, waving to her teammate. "Come up here with me! The views are amazing, we must be in Switzerland or something."
Corey looks at Celia, puzzled.
"It's better if we talk like this, isn't it?"
"Be thankful I'm inviting you!" Celia offers her hand to the girl, frowning.
"But Chris might see us..." Corey says.
"Yeah, so?" Celia asks impatiently. "Either come up now or stay down there!"
Corey hesitates for a moment but then takes Celia's hand and exits the car, although she momentarily retreats, her eyes shining with complicity.
"Switzerland? I don't think so. But it's definitely a beautiful place, although it's too cold," Corey responds with a slight smile. As they walk along the wagon's roof, the wind plays with their hair, and laughter fills the air.
"Don't you think it's awesome!?" Celia asks, raising her arms in the air. "Are you scared? Have you ever been on the roof of a train before?"
"Of course not! If my parents saw me, they'd kill me." At that moment, the train hits a small bump, causing the two girls to jump. Scared, Corey has to hold onto Celia to keep from falling.
"Me neither. I tried to do it once on the New York subway, but it turns out they have it well secured." Celia says with a mischievous smile. "What about your parents? Don't tell me they're overbearing idiots." Celia rolls her eyes.
"I wouldn't call them that, but you could say they're... Authoritative."
"Well, I guess I haven't shown you this, but I have a motto against that." Celia rolls up her jacket sleeve, showing Corey a tattoo that reads 'FUCK THE ELITES'. Corey looks at the tattoo immediately, not entirely convinced. "So, that means you are the stereotype of princess locked in a tower?"
"Not at all! Y-You're the stereotype, the rebellious tough girl." Corey tries to defend herself, laughing embarrassedly.
"Then we're two stereotypes, like day and night." Celia jokes.
"Can I ask you something, Celia?"
"Ask away!" Celia lets go of Corey's grip and lies back on the car's roof, putting her arms behind her head.
"Why do you want to win the game? I mean, what are you going to do with the prize?"
"I don't know, first I have to fix my dad's truck, and I guess then I'll spend it on parties, tattoos... A motorcycle!" The last part she says more to herself, realizing she could buy a motorcycle. "But for now, I just want to cause some trouble in the competition, messing with Chris is incredible. I wouldn't mind not winning."
"You are so lying." Corey says, looking confused. "No one would want to lose half a million dollars."
"I don't know, my life won't be worse if I lose." Celia shrugs.
"If you say so, I'll believe you." Corey doesn't seem very convinced by the explanation. "Would you like to go for breakfast, then?"
"Nah, I'm not hungry, you go, I'll go later." Corey looks at Celia in confusion, and finally, she descends from the roof.
Confessional
Celia - Coco is quite different from me, but I can't help but like her, she's kind of tight, but hanging out with her is nice. She reminds me a lot of Mira... (After saying that, Celia visibly becomes disheartened) Mira...
Corey - I can't understand Celia, what does she seek by hanging out with me? I can't understand what she wants from me. Besides, her saying she doesn't care about winning the game is so false, why is she deluding herself like that? I can't help being interested in her.
In the dining wagon, the Alpha team is having breakfast together, with the only exception being Jennifer, who is locked in her wagon studying.
"It's a shame Jen didn't come. What do you guys think is up with her?" Liam asks, who, except for Spencer, is the only one actually having breakfast. The breakfast is a sad, bitter mashed potato made by Chris Jr.
"She's... weird. I guess she just doesn't like being around a lot of people, which is understandable." Mac says, biting a pen as he tries to write something on a still-blank sheet.
"Do you think she's mad because we eliminated Sam yesterday?" Liam wonders.
"I'm pretty sure she voted for Sam." Lucy says, not very thrilled.
"But let's not talk about votes, guys! We're friends!" Spencer exclaims, passing his hands over Ryuuko and Lucy.
"Don't get it twisted, we're teammates." Ryuuko says, trying his hardest to eat the breakfast, but finds it too disgusting.
"Well, at least we're friends, right, Lucy?" Spencer asks, kindly. Then Lucy, angry, grabs Spencer by the shirt and whispers in his ear.
"Look, I don't know what you're playing at, but I'm not falling for your tricks, okay?"
"Um... What?" Spencer asks, confused.
"Liam, how can you eat that?" Ryuuko asks, finally giving up on the food. Liam, on the other hand, is devouring it quickly.
"Maybe he doesn't realize it's bad cooking..." Mac suggests.
"I know it's bad, but food is food!" Liam says after swallowing. "My mommy taught me that; I come from a somewhat rural town, so we eat what we can get!"
Confessional
Mac - I also come from a rural town, Elora, such a beautiful township... B-But I have, you know... Standards.
Liam - I fear that after Sam left, the team's confidence will crumble. Today we have to win no matter what! And the best part? We'll win fair and square!
Lucy - I don't know what Spencer's playing at; he knows my secret but still acts like nothing's up. What if he tries to blackmail me? If we lose today, I have to eliminate him.
Spencer - I don't know what's going on with Ryu and Lucy! Before the London challenge, we were supa' friends, and now they're giving me all their 'tude. Did I do something wrong?
"Ehm... U-Uh, hello, passengers of the McLean Express, we are about to reach our next stop." Through the train's speakers, Chris Jr.'s voice is heard, clearly reading from a piece of paper. "Small recommendation: Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. McLean out... Did I do well, Dad?"
"It could have been better, but not a bad start, Junior." Chris's voice is heard as well.
"I think you're lacking cynicism, little brother." Emma's voice chimes in.
"C-Cynicism?"
"Junior! You forgot to cut off the microphone!" Chris shouts, and finally, the transmission cuts off.
"But all my clothes are important!" Barbara shouts as she walks back to the Amazons girls' compartment to change. In the common area, only Sophia and Pedro remain, sharing a cup of tea.
"Finally, I thought she was going to keep talking forever." Pedro says, taking a sip from his cup. "Now I can propose what I was thinking."
"I'm all ears, Pedro."
"I wanted to ask you for a formal alliance, beyond the verbal agreement we had earlier." Pedro proposes.
"So... Are we voting Celia off?" Sophia asks, raising her eyebrow.
"You read my mind." Pedro moves his cup slightly toward Sophia. "If we happen to lose another challenge, which is quite likely, I think the best course of action would be a change of captain... Besides, Celia calls me 'Pedrito,' and I'm totally against that."
"I have no problem with Celia, but I agree with you." Sophia clinks her tea cup with Pedro's, sealing the alliance.
Confessional
Sophia - Me? Oh, I have no problem with Celia being the captain! She was democratically elected, and that must be respected. (she says while a slight twitch starts to manifest in her eye)
Pedro - With Miss Celia eliminated, the captain's position will be vacant and will be contested between Sophia and me. For the past few days, I've been subtly planting the idea that I would be a good leader to follow for the team, don't you think?
Finally, all the contestants stepped off the McLean Express, facing a vast plain with humid weather, giant fields of flowers, and the scent of moisture and pollen in the air. In front of them, bordering on a rocky coast, are six gigantic windmills arranged in a triangle, painted in red, green, and blue.
"How are you contestants? How did you sleep these days?" Chris asks, joining the contestants.
"Well, it could have been better, the mattress on my bunk is ha-" Barbara begins to speak, but Chris interrupts her.
"I don't care! Welcome, everyone, to our next destination!" Chris announces, stepping off the train. "Does anyone want to guess where in the world we are?"
"Since we're on the coast and based on the landscape... Are we in North Holland?" Jennifer asks.
"Very well done, nerd girl! We are currently in Zaanstad, Netherlands!" Chris introduces. "We are now in one of the world's most famous natural tulip fields and a vast network of windmills that harness wind energy."
"Oh, the Netherlands is so cool! Their flowers are so beautiful!" Gretchen says.
"T-That explains why my allergies are at their max." Mackenzie's nose is red. "Are there bees around here? Because if they sting me..."
"Don't worry, your health insurance will cover everything. Now tell me, who among you likes destruction?!" Chris asks, rubbing his hands together evilly. Celia is the first to raise her hand and jump excitedly, while Lucy raises hers with much less enthusiasm. "Good, because today we're going to destroy. Mr. Romaniconti, our new billionaire producer, owns these windmills and has expressly asked us to demolish them, so what better way to do it than with a challenge?"
"Isn't that like, you know, dangerous?" Levi asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, and that's exactly why we're doing it. Each team will have two windmills, and inside them, five sacks of tulips to protect. What will they protect them with, you ask? Well, each windmill will be equipped with a cannon that they can use to knock down the enemy windmills and thus leave their opponents without tulips. The team with the last windmill standing or with the most tulips wins! Understood?"
"Let me see if I got this right... We're going to shoot each other with cannonballs?" Pedro asks.
"Yup!"
Confessional
Levi - Why bother asking if I already know what the answer's going to be?
Ryuuko - So that's what they mean when they say the challenges are extreme.
Mac - A-Actually, this is a pretty clever challenge! It's based on a socio-economic event that took place in the 17th century called the Tulip Fever, which should not be confused with the film Tulip Fever by Dane DeHaan and Alicia Vikander, durng this period of time the socie- (Cut off by production).
At the start of the challenge, the teams quickly come together to discuss their organization.
"Hear me out guys! Ryuuko, Lucy, and I are Team A, Jennifer, Mac, Spencer, you guys are team B!"
"Don't you think it's a bad idea to leave the three weakest ones... together?" Mac asks, raising his index finger.
"You're not weak, Mac! You guys may not have muscles, but you have brains!" Liam says, tapping his forehead.
"Thank you," Jennifer says.
"Yeah! Thank you!" Spencer cheers.
"Okay, let's go, Team Alpha on three." Liam puts his hand in the center, hoping his teammates will join, which only Spencer and Mac do. "Woo! Team Alpha! Let's go, guys!"
The boy starts cheering while Lucy, Jennifer, and Ryuuko completely ignore him. On the other hand, it's Celia's turn to shine as captain in the Amazonian team.
"Team, we're starting at a disadvantage, we have one less than them! Captain! How do we organize?" Sophia points out.
"Oh, well... Uh... I'm not much of a planner, what do you guys suggest?" Celia seems genuinely surprised to see how collaborative Sophia is.
"We could split up to have three in one windmill and two in another, right?" Barbara suggests.
"Okay, Celia and I could go to one windmill and you three to another," Corey suggests.
"Wait a second, how do you win this? I got a bit distracted listening to the rules," Celia says.
"The team with the most tulips or with all their windmills standing wins, Celia," Sophia says, gritting her teeth to force a smile.
"So, they didn't say anything against stealing tulips from the other team, did they?" Celia asks, with a mischievous smile. "Let's send someone to steal! Then the rest of us can do what we want."
"You could do it, Celia," Sophia suggests.
"No way! I'm not going to miss out on firing the cannons!" Celia protests.
"If you asked for my opinion, I'd say the most sensible thing would be to send someone small who won't attract attention to steal," Pedro says, making all the team's eyes turn to Barbara.
"W-Why are you looking at me like that?"
A while had passed since the challenge began, and most people were getting bored waiting for something to happen. Apparently, neither team had decided to play offensively.
"Gretchen, do you see anything?" Levi asks, sitting with Harlan in one of the haylofts. They were both silent while Gretchen looked out the mill window with binoculars, and Charlie accompanied her, just to make sure she didn't get distracted.
"Not much... I don't see anyone in Team Alpha's windmills, and I only see Corey sitting on the balcony of the Amazon team's windmill," Gretchen reports.
"What if we shoot her?" Harlan asks, laughing. "It's just a joke... But if you want to it's not."
"Uh, let's do it," Charlie says with a mischievous smile. "That princess gets on my nerves."
"I don't think it's a bad idea," Levi says, smiling at Harlan. "Hey... I'm sorry I didn't go to your poker game this morning, I... had some other things on my mind."
"Oh, that? It didn't bother me, you're good, but now if we win, you owe me a movie night to make up for it! How about that?" Harlan suggests, offering Levi a fist bump.
"That sounds like a good plan," Levi responds, slightly blushing.
Confessional
Harlan - Cool! I fixed things with Levi! Now, I just hope the date goes well! Oh... Yeah, date.
Levi - It's okay that Harlan and I get along again; he's a nice guy, maybe a little silly, but silly good.
"Oh, look! It's Lucy and Ryuuko!" Gretchen shouts, waving her hand. "Hello!"
Harlan and Levi quickly get up from the haystacks and stand next to Gretchen.
"What are they doing?" Harlan asks.
"I think... They're loading the cannons," Gretchen says, squinting to see better.
"What?! Give me that!" Charlie snatches the binoculars from Gretchen, leaving her looking confused toward Team Alpha's windmill. "Oh my god, I think they're aiming at us!"
"Seriously?"
"No, I think they're aiming at our other windmill," Levi says, taking his turn to look through the binoculars. "We could let them shoot; I mean, we moved most of the tulip sacks here."
"Either way, we must prioritize having our windmills in good state, let's shoot." Harlan says.
"Are we going to shoot them?" Gretchen asks, frowning with concern.
"Gretchen, we're gonna have to shoot those guys," Charlie says, putting his hand on Gretchen's shoulder.
"Damn."
"Gretchen! Load the cannons!" Harlan shouts, and the girl runs quickly for one of the cannonballs, although she trips and falls with it in the attempt.
"Well, at least you tried..." Levi says, taking the ball and loading it into the cannon while Harlan helps Gretchen up.
"Levi... Fire!" Harlan shouts, and Levi finally fires. The recoil of the cannon causes Levi to run backward, knocking down Harlan and Gretchen in the process.
"Did we hit them?" Harlan exclaims, trying to get up.
The cannonball shot out at full speed toward Team Alpha's windmill, entering directly through the window and finally impacting the tower's wall, leaving a quite noticeable hole.
Clearly, the shot ended up diverting Team Alpha's shot, originally aimed at Team Friendship's Windmill #2, now simply hitting one of the windmill's propellers without causing significant damage. On the other hand, the attack they received from Windmill #1 and the one Levi just delivered had indeed hurt them. It hit just below the window, causing much of the structure to start coming down. The floor where the three Team Alpha members are located begins to tilt, and they panic.
"What the hell do we do?" Lucy exclaims, trying to hold onto a column to avoid falling with the structure.
"These things were poorly made!" Liam shouts, looking for something to hold onto.
"The sacks, idiots, the sacks!" Ryuuko quickly runs to the sacks to use them as a cushion.
"Let's go!" Liam takes Lucy's hand, and they frantically jump toward the sacks.
In the end, the windmill collapses completely, leaving only the ruined foundations.
"Are you guys okay?" Liam shouts, jumping out of the rubble and dusting himself off a bit.
"Yeah... The tulips cushioned me," Lucy says, getting up with Ryuuko's help.
"Are the tulips okay?" Ryuuko asks.
When Liam checks, he finds that only two of them hadn't exploded and spilled their contents everywhere.
"Does this count as losing them? I mean, we still have the sacks..." Lucy says, stomping in frustration on the destroyed sacks.
"I don't think so... What matters is the contents," Ryuuko shrugs, wiping some dust that had fallen on his jacket. "So, we'll just have to make do with the two we have left."
Ryuuko quickly lifts one of the sacks, Liam does the same with the other one they have.
"And where do we go?" Ryuuko asks.
"Well, to the windmill we have left, I guess," Liam says cheerfully, but just as they are about to leave the place, they see something moving among the rubble.
"Ouch... Help! Can anyone hear me?" says a familiar voice as an arm emerges from between the rocks. Liam quickly runs to help the person out, it was Barbara.
"Barbara? Are you okay?" Liam says as he moves some stones to completely free the girl, Barbara shakes off some dust from all her clothes.
"No! I-I think I broke my arm, and... and my blouse is ruined!" Despite the fact that the girl is sobbing, she's clearly exaggerating; her arm only has some scrapes, and her blouse is just covered in dust.
"Really? Let me check!" Liam rushes to check Barbara's arm, genuinely concerned.
"And... What were you doing here?" Lucy asks, putting her hand on her hip.
"Me? Well... Well..." Barbara starts sniffling as tears start streaming down her eyes. "Since we were odd, Sophia kicked me out and told me to fend for myself, she was so mean!"
"Alright, well, you can stay with us," Liam suggests.
"Okay, i'm so not trying to be rude here... But she's from another team and all..." Lucy complains.
"Liam..." Ryuuko says, subtly rolling his eyes toward Barbara as a little warning.
"I trust you, yeah, Barbara?" Liam says, looking at her seriously, to which she just nods. "Plus, she's injured, and we need someone to take care of her! Do you think Jen has read any medical books?"
Ryuuko and Lucy silently observe each other, sharing a disappointed look at their captain.
"Thank you so much, Liam!" Barbara rushes to hug Liam, and he responds by hugging her.
Confessional
Lucy - I swear, if Liam costs us the challenge, I'm gonna get pretty violent.
Ryuuko - (Talking to himself) Remember Ryuuko, being a good person isn't bad, being a good person isn't bad.
Barbara - Obviously, I was sabotaging them, but... Now I'm not so sure! I mean, Liam was so kind and attentive, plus he's quite popular and soooo brawny and... Oh, I didn't say that... I have a boyfriend... hihi (Barbara is seen shaking the camera again) Give me the tape!
While Liam carries Barbara in his arms, as according to the girl 'her ankle had been dislocated', Lucy and Ryuuko lagged behind a bit to talk.
"Pff... What's up with Liam? Did he fall for that shorty so quickly?" Lucy says, rolling her eyes.
"Maybe... Or maybe he's just very innocent," Ryuuko says, rolling his eyes. "He reminds me of before Roy..."
"Before who?" Lucy asks, confused.
"Mind your business, let's go to the windmill," Ryuuko responds, picking up the pace to get away from Lucy.
Meanwhile, in one of the Amazons' windmills, Corey and Celia were sitting. Celia had been insisting for a while now that the blonde girl let her shoot the cannon.
"Please! Come on, let's do it, just a quick shot!" Celia insisted.
"No, Celia. You heard Sophia, and besides, we could hit where Barbara is," Corey says, giving the girl a smile as she impatiently leans against the cannon.
"I'm supposed to be the captain, why is she bossing me around?" The captain crosses her arms.
"Let's just wait, come... I wanted to ask you something," Corey pats a bundle of hay next to her to get Celia to sit down.
"Ask away," Celia says without moving.
"Well... On the day of the play, you mentioned something that got me thinking..."
"Oh, yeah. The tree incident?" Remembering that seemed to have made Celia lose her energy, and she stared blankly at the wall.
"I wanted to hear about that because it seemed important to you..." Corey says, looking at the floor. "But if you don't want to tell me..."
"No, no, it's fine," Celia says, downplaying it. "When I was in sixth grade, a friend of mine begged me to be in the school musical, but I clearly didn't want to because I thought it was really stupid, especially when I found out my role was Tree Number Two."
As Celia explains this, Corey lets out a small endearing laugh, which Celia ends up sharing.
"Yeah, pretty ridiculous, I know. I hated all those idiots telling me 'stand here, stand there'! So, on the day of the play, I said 'Fuck it, imma do my own thing,' I tried to do a twirl, and then I fell off the stage."
"Aw, I think it's kind of cute; you were a rebel since school," Corey laughs, giving Celia a little smile that makes her look away embarrassed.
"Yeah, I guess now that you put it that way, it sounds kind of funny..." The girl looks at the floor, thinks for a second, and then raises her head again. "Fuck it! Let's shoot this thing!"
"Celia, wait—" Celia finally activates the cannon; the bullet goes straight toward the window of one of Team Friendship's windmills. The bullet pierces the window and ends up hitting one of the interior columns of the windmill, causing it to collapse completely.
"That's it!" Celia raises her fist, celebrating happily; Corey lets out a sweet laugh and joins the girl's celebration. "Suck it, Sophia! You and your stupid plans!"
"Are the others from the other team okay?" Corey peers out the window to see the ruins of the windmill. "I don't see anybody."
"Let's go! That was so liberating!" Celia shouts, still celebrating without caring about what Corey is checking.
What they didn't imagine was that Ashley and Harvey had taken advantage of the moment of concentration in the fight to enter the windmill from below and were calmly behind the door.
"The heat is on! Only Team Amazons keeps both of their windmills safe, who will take the victory?! What do you guys think?" Chris is lounging in a recliner watching the spectacle while sipping a cocktail. He turns to his children: Emma is chatting on her phone while Chris is using a napkin to make origami.
"Uhm... Team Friendship is the next winner just by pure statistics," says Chris Jr, nervously smiling at the camera while hiding his origami swan.
"Emma, sweetheart?" Chris asks, but his daughter doesn't respond.
"Wait a second," says Emma, raising her palm. "A guy is messaging me on Instagram..."
"I hope it's not that idiot Kevin!" Chris says, pointing at his daughter with his finger.
"Dad, you threw him straight into the Thames River, I think it will take him a while to message me."
"Oh, that's true..." Chris shrugs. "And you, champ? When are you going to introduce me to a girlfriend of yours?"
"Well, dad, about that..." Chris Jr. is interrupted when the sound of a cannonball from the battlefield is heard.
"Uh! I'll catch you later, things are heating up!"
Team Friendship had responded to Celia's shot and had started bombarding both windmills.
"Miss Sophia! Do we fire?" Pedro asks, watching as some shots start to poke holes in the windmill.
"Wait!" Sophia shouts.
"Celia is shooting!" Pedro points out, peeking out the window. "If we shoot, it's two against one!"
"Ugh... Fine, fi—" Suddenly, a cannon blast is heard from afar, heading straight towards them, a part of the building's wall had broken.
"Oh my God," Pedro exclaims, throwing himself to the floor with his hands over his head to shield himself from the impact.
Sophia runs to the window, only to find that the one shooting is Harlan, from the last standing windmill of Team Friendship; he has a smug smile as he fires cannon shots, while Charlie and Levi reload at full speed.
"The Sacks! Defend the sacks!" Sophia shouts. Pedro quickly gets up, running towards the sacks, but before he could reach, a second cannonball hits even closer to the sacks, exploding three of them and narrowly missing Pedro.
"Three point one four one five nine two six...!" Pedro starts counting, full of nerves.
"Now is not the time!" Sophia complains, amidst shots that blow wood and concrete from the windmill, she manages to grab a couple of sacks, after which, the bombardment ceases.
"Phew... That was close," says Pedro, leaning against a wall trying to calm his heavy breathing.
"Close? It took away three sacks," laments Sophia, falling to her knees.
"I meant close to my head, Miss Sophia."
Confessional
Sophia - I wonder what Corey was doing while they destroyed our sacks; perhaps 'miss I'm too cute to do anything in a challenge' let Celia do all the work... (After realizing she had a frown, the girl returns to her usual smile). When I'm captain, I must strengthen their teamwork!... Yes...
While Team Friendship and Team Amazons fought, in Team Alpha, the members who were in the destroyed windmill had already reached the other windmill.
"Are you okay? We heard the explosion and thought you were done for," says Mac, opening the door for the rest of his team members.
"Yup, we're fine. Ryu had the idea to use the sacks to cushion the fall!" says Liam, proudly hugging Ryuuko.
"Let go... You're suffocating me," says Ryuuko, struggling with his captain to break free, a duel that he ultimately wins.
"Alright... And how many sacks did we lose?" asks Jennifer, who is at the window of the windmill, keeping watch over the cannon. The other person in the windmill is Spencer, who is lying on the hay bales casually puffing on his vape.
"Just 3," answers Lucy, sitting down to rest on the hay.
"Just..." Jennifer emphasizes, furrowing her brow. Her confusion intensifies when she sees Barbara entering their windmill. "Well... What is she doing here?"
"Her team kicked her out, so now she's going to help us," says Liam, as he prepares to enter the windmill.
"I'm not letting her in here; she might sabotage us," says Jennifer, crossing her arms and shaking her head.
"You don't have to be such a tryhard, Jen! She promised she won't do anything!" justifies Liam with an innocent smile as Barbara hooks her arm with his.
"That's right, I swear..." says Barbara.
"Sorry, Liam, but I think I'm siding with Jennifer here..." says Mac.
"Hold on! I know how to fix this!" Spencer puts away his vape and runs towards Barbara. "Barbara, do you promise not to sabotage us?"
Spencer extends his pinkie finger towards Barbara.
"Uhhh... A pinkie promise," says Mac, dumbfounded.
"You can't break a pinkie promise! Good one, Spence!" shouts Liam.
"Uhm... Sure." Somewhat hesitantly, Barbara intertwines her pinkie with Spencer's, sealing the promise.
But before they could enter the windmill, two more people appeared.
"Hold it right there, those are our sacks." The person facing them is Charlie, who looks at them with a haughty smile, behind her is Gretchen, holding a rope, possibly as a self-defense weapon.
"YOUR sacks?" Lucy asks, offended.
"Well, we knocked down your tower, so they're ours, wasn't that the challenge?" says Gretchen.
"Oh, really?" Liam says, taking small steps backward. "Well, come and get them!"
Mac leans in to whisper to Liam as they approach.
"What do we do?"
"Run!" After Liam's shout, all the members of Team Alpha and Barbara rush into the windmill, trying to close the door behind them, but it's futile as Charlie and Gretchen manage to enter at full speed.
"D-Don't come any closer... Or..." says Mac, backing towards the cannon. "Or I'll shoot! Spence, is this thing loaded?"
"What? Uh, yeah." Spencer nods.
"Alright, Mac, fire." Ryuuko orders.
"Gretchen, for the sacks!" orders Charlie.
"But Liam has them!" Gretchen says, hesitating for a moment when she sees Liam in a defensive position.
"Just go get them!" insists Charlie.
Gretchen lets out a whimper and runs full speed at Liam while shouting a war cry, which ends with both of them on the ground struggling.
"Stop it, Gretchen! I don't want to hurt you!" says Liam, who is not applying any force.
"Just shoot already!" orders Jennifer, Mac starts to get a little nervous and adjusts the cannon to aim at the fight.
"Go, Gretchen! Give it all you got!" shouts Charlie, but she gets tired of seeing Gretchen struggle unsuccessfully and ends up joining the fight. "If you want something done right, do it yourself."
"Finally a brawl!" says Lucy, smiling and joining the fight for the sack, especially focusing on grabbing Charlie.
Confessional
Lucy — I warned it in the last challenge, and it came true, and even better, against Charlotte. Maybe that will keep her quiet.
Charlie — (The girl is seen with her clothes and hair disheveled after the fight) Anyway, Lucy can punch me all she wants, i'm the queen bee on this show right now and that pathetic goth is earning herself an expulsion!
Ryuuko — I really wanted to get into the fight... But poor Gretchen didn't deserve that.
"Shoot already!" Jennifer orders. Mac becomes a little nervous and adjusts the cannon to aim at the fight.
"T-These things are props, right?" Mac asks, somewhat hesitant about whether to shoot or not.
"Sure, they're props and they're breaking a windmill..." Ryuuko says, full of sarcasm.
Still, Mac fires at Charlie, but he's surprised to see that what hits the girl is not a cannonball but one of the sacks of tulips.
"Why was the cannon loaded with the sacks, Spencer?" Jennifer asks, confused.
"Wasn't that the challenge?" Spencer asks, exhaling smoke from his lungs for a moment.
Confessional
Jennifer — (Stares directly at the camera, with her hand on her forehead)
Mac — I have to thank Spencer because if he hadn't charged the cannon with flowers, then I'd be in court accused of... Well, of murder, what else?
"Idiot, stop smoking that thing already! Look how it makes you dumb!" Ryuuko is quite furious and walks over to Spencer to snatch his vape away.
"Hey, no! It cost me 30 dollars!" Spencer shouts, amidst laughter and disbelief. "Mac also vapes and you say nothing to him!"
"T-That's my asthma inhaler..." Mac says
Confessional
Mac - I-I have asthma, diabetes, myopia, astigmatism and a stutter, plus my entire family has suffered from Alzheimer's so... Y-Yes... I was blessed by genetics
And so, the fight for the sacks resumes, now leaving the cannon aside. Mac was too terrified to join, Ryuuko decided not to participate, and Spencer remained a mere spectator, while Jennifer also jumped into the fight.
Back at the Amazons' windmill, Harvey and Ashley are preparing to enter the building.
"Alright, on the count of three, and quietly, okay?" Ashley signals to Harvey, who nods eagerly. "1... 2... 3... Go."
The duo entered quietly, luckily Celia and Corey were too busy discussing another topic.
"It's fucking weird, ever since I found out about the Bermuda Triangle, it doesn't seem like they have eliminated anyone, but I swear they're influencing the votes!" says Celia, still lying on the cannon after the previous barrage of shots.
"The Bermuda Triangle? Is that what you call them?" Corey asks, chuckling.
"Hey, don't make fun! I think it's a good name!" Celia playfully says, giving Corey a gentle punch on the shoulder.
"Well, maybe we can fight them together," Corey suggests, giving his teammate a sweet smile, which Celia reciprocates.
"Wait, I got a... Ah... Achoo!" Celia lets out a loud sneeze.
"Bless you," comes Ashley's kind voice from behind them.
"Thank you! God, there's so much pollen in here... Wait a minute." Corey and Celia turn around and notice Ashley and Harvey, each carrying two sacks on their arm, leaving the windmill. "Hey!"
"Run, Ashley! Run! I'll take care of this," Harvey throws Ashley his two sacks, to which she nods and runs out at surprising speed.
"I'll go after her!" Celia shouts, running towards the windmill's exit.
"Hold it right there, or I'll use my breathing technique on you," Harvey says, assuming a martial arts stance.
"Your... Your what?" Corey asks, confused.
"You don't want to mess with me! I have the power of chakra on my side!"
"I'll stop Ashley with the cannon!" Corey shouts, running to load the cannon.
"Artist's Style! First posture... Charge!" Harvey starts running towards Celia with his shoulder forward, ready to charge.
"Oh, yeah?" Celia pushes back, also charging at him and ultimately winning the clash, sending him crashing to the ground.
"Come on legs! Keep pushing!" Ashley shouts as she finally exits the Amazons' windmill with the sacks.
"Fire, Coco, come on!"
"I won't let you!" Harvey shouts, narrowly dodging Celia to push Corey away from the cannon. Unfortunately, Corey falls onto the cannon and ends up firing it at the roof.
"Shit," says Celia, looking at the large hole in the roof, noticing it beginning to collapse. "Coco! Take cover!"
"I'm not dying crushed like Caesar!" Harvey shouts, throwing himself to the ground.
Finally, the windmill collapses completely, leaving the place in ruins.
Confessional
Celia — Well, at least he didn't crush me with a motorcycle... Got it? Harvey Davidson? Uh? (Celia starts bursting into laughter)
The fight in Team Alpha's windmill dragged on excessively because Liam didn't want to exert force to avoid hurting Gretchen and Charlie.
Lucy manages to grab one of the sacks and quickly removes it from the conflict. Mac, who had been left guarding the remaining sacks while watching the fight, receives it awkwardly, as Lucy's throw was so strong that it made him stumble backward.
"Ouch!" Mackenzie cries out, falling from his position.
Confessional
Mac - My sisters say I'm unlucky, but I think it's just bad reflexes, you know? I-I don't know, I just... (At that moment, a bird dropping comes flying in through the window, landing on Mac's head) What?!
Meanwhile, Barbara, who had been observing the conflict, agilely dodges Gretchen, who had been sent flying through the air by Lucy.
Charlie lunges at Liam from behind, who at that moment had been left with the sack, causing him to fall.
"She's digging her nails into me! Mommy!" Liam cries out, dropping the sack. "Mac! Help me!"
"I'm coming!" Mac quickly rushes to get Charlie off Liam, leaving the sacks unprotected.
That's when Barbara see a golden opportunity. The only person not involved in the fight for a single sack had entered the fray, and Ryuuko seemed disinterested. The girl runs toward one of the sacks, grabs it, and dashes out of the windmill at full speed.
Confessional
Barbara - What? We have to win the challenge, and I can't let Liam make me doubt... I mean... My morals, of course.
On the other hand, the brave fighters engage in a tug-of-war over the contested sack. Seeing it on the ground, both Charlie and Gretchen, along with Jen and Liam, dive to grab it, each pulling from a different corner.
"It's going to break! Stop pulling!" Ryuuko shouts, but the others are too determined to stop. In the end, the sack explodes.
"Ugh! You broke me a nail, Liam!" Charlie complains, examining her hands.
"I think I broke a finger," Gretchen says, holding her pinky while sobbing in pain.
"Stop! The challenge time is up! And you only managed to destroy... 3 and a half windmills, I expected nothing from you and yet you still manage to disappoint me! Return to the McLean Express station, and we'll tally up the points." Chris's voice booms from his megaphone, and most competitors just let out a sigh.
Once at the McLean Express, Chris is waiting for them all in his classic pose.
"Alright, the tally is as follows... The middle team barely escaping the ceremony today are... Team Alpha, with four sacks."
"That was too close..." Liam says, swallowing nervously.
"The losing team, and therefore, who will see us at the elimination ceremony today is... Team Amazon, with three sacks!
"Again?" Sophia asks, infuriated.
"And with a whopping difference of nine sacks, the winners are Team Friendship, once again!"
The members of Team Friendship start celebrating joyfully, jumping on top of each other. The only one not jumping is Harvey, who is still somewhat injured after the collapse.
"Another day another W..." Harvey says, staggering.
"We're invincible!" Ashley shouts with her fist in the air.
"Well done, captain," Levi says.
"The victory is yours, you made the strategy, champ." Harlan puts his arm around Levi's shoulder, embracing him happily.
"At least we are not in elimination today, right?" Liam says, only to realize that all the members of his team had already entered the train, except for Mac. "It's hard being the loser, right?"
"I'm used to it." Mac shrugs.
"This is all Celia and Corey's fault! Where are they by the way?" Sophia asks, realizing she's alone with Pedro and Barbara.
"Oh, they're in the common room, they went in a while ago. I'm going to go sort out the elimination stuff, see you later!"
And so, Chris leaves as most contestants head to the common room to discuss today's votes. Once there, they find Celia, lying on the couch with her arm and forehead bandaged, while Corey is beside her, with some band-aids and cotton on his face.
"Ouch, what happened?" Ashley asks, approaching her friend.
"We fell pretty badly when the windmill collapsed..." Celia says, touching one of her cuts.
"I fell off a windmill too, and I'm fantastic." Barbara boasts, with a proud smile.
"Corey, your pretty face!" Spencer says, putting his hands to his cap. "Do you want me to bring you some ice?"
"Oh, thank you Spencer, but I'm alright."
"Spencer!" Charlie says, seeing the boy complimenting Corey.
"Oh, I'm sorry..."
"She literally just pulled you by the leash." Ryuuko mutters to himself, crossing his arms.
"Well, captain, who are the nominees today?" Sophia asks, in a passive-aggressive tone.
"Celia, I know today we lost because of me, I deserve the nomination..." Corey says, staring at his friend.
"Don't worry, Coco, you did your best today." Celia says, patting the girl on the head. "Today I nominate Sophia and Pedro."
"So predictable..." Pedro sighs. "Alright, see you at the elimination ceremony."
"After Celia and Corey feel better, the elimination ceremony finally begins.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the fourth elimination ceremony of Total Drama Express Tour! I have four marshmallows for five contestants, so one of you will never return," says Chris in front of the 17 remaining contestants, all expectant, some members of Team Friendship even brought popcorn. "It's the third time you've come to the elimination ceremony in four episodes, you seriously suck. Well, go to the confessionals to cast your votes."
"One moment! I can't stay silent any longer!" Charlie shouts, standing up from the bleachers. She dramatically puts her hand to her forehead. "At the last elimination, Celia convinced me to make them vote out Sam! She got eliminated because of her!"
Everyone gasps, while Celia looks surprised.
"Is that true, Celia?" Liam asks, crossing his arms.
"Um... And what if it is?" says the girl, shrugging, causing everyone to let out a surprised cry.
"You tore the soul out of my team!" Liam complains.
"I wouldn't call Sam that, but... Forget it," Mackenzie intervenes.
"Why did you do that, Celia?" Harlan asks, trying to bring calm to the conversation.
"Okay, you're not going to believe me, but there's a secret alliance! And they're controlling the votes! I even named them, they're the Bermuda Triangle!" Celia shouts. "And I know you're not going to believe me, but you know what? I don't give a crap!"
"I believe you, Celia," Corey says, staring at the girl intently.
"Alright, draw your own conclusions and go vote," Chris orders.
Charlie stares at Celia with a malicious smile, while the girl just flips her middle finger in response.
Confessional
Pedro - Having an alliance with Ms. Sophia makes me confident, but I still know which person will have the deciding vote today.
Barbara - I'm sorry, but Celia is a great captain! I don't want her to leave!
Sophia - George Washington is the only president in US history to have obtained 100% of the Electoral College votes, I plan to surpass that, and today is a great day to start with that.
Corey - I'm happy not to have been nominated despite our losing streak, although I hate having to vote someone off the team. I think with more time, the five of us could have learned to work together.
Celia - I know Sophia is really set on being captain, so I have to be careful. Although honestly, if anyone on this team looks like they're from the Bermuda Triangle, it's her.
"Emma, do your thing." Once the members of Team Amazon return from the confessionals, Chris and Emma step forward.
"Well... Celia, you're the captain and today Corey and you cost the team the victory, Sophia, it's your third nomination out of three possible, maybe you need to change something, and finally Pedro, you haven't done anything wrong... I guess you're living up to the team name by eliminating all the men."
"Thank you very much, dear. Today Corey and Barbara are not nominated, congratulations."
Barbara grabs her marshmallow quickly, while Corey gracefully recieves it.
"The third marshmallow goes to..."

"Pedro!" Pedro takes his marshmallow with class and elegance.
Celia has a completely serious expression and her brow is furrowed, while Sophia seemed to be doing her best to contain her emotions.

"Nobody."
"What?!" Both of them exclaim simultaneously.
"That's right, it's a tie in votes."
"So... Are they both leaving?" Lucy interrupts.
"Two double eliminations in a row?" Mac questions. "That's never been seen in Total Drama history!"
"What? Not at all! If I did double eliminations every day, we'd have a ton of filler episodes, and you know how that went for Action. We'll have a re-vote... With a slight twist... Everyone will vote! Regardless of their team. Of course, they can only vote for Celia or Sophia."
All the contestants look at each other, the members of the Amazons team quite worried, and the rest of the teams quite interested.
Confessional
Sophia - Charlie helped me a lot, now the entire Alpha team is mad at Celia!
Mac - I'm... I'm still voting for Sophia tho.
Liam - Maybe this could help raise my team's spirit! I hope so!
Harvey - I'm just happy Barbara is not eliminated before i can talk to her. You know, maybe... maybe she's the muse.
Harlan - Camaraderie between captains! That's what I'm applying to this situation! Anyways, voting Celia off would be doing Charlie a favor, and i can't do that. She have come so far! Next time we lose she's gone!
Liam - Charlie is the worst, does she have the necessity to play that dirty? Ugh.
Gretchen - Eeny meeny, miny, moe, catch a tiger-
Charlie - This is perfect! I can eliminate someone who's not on my team directly!
Pedro - No one calls me 'Pedrito'.
"Well, we've counted the votes... The last marshmallow goes to..."

"Sophia!"
"Yes!" Sophia jumps with excitement and picks up her marshmallow.
"I'm sorry, Celia, but this is the end of the road for you," says Chris, shrugging. "Ready to jump?"
"Well... At least the idea of jumping sounds great," says Celia, putting on a proud smile before getting up from the straw.
"Before goodbyes, the Amazon team needs a new captain... Again. I wouldn't opt for that position; it seems cursed," announces Chris.
"Yes, cursed with rip-off Hillary Clinton voting for you," Levi jokes.
"Alright, it's time for my campaign!" says Sophia, turning to the contestants. "Did you know that throughout history, most U.S. presidents have been left-handed? Well, I'm left-handed, which makes me a natural leader capable of bringing victory to this team in times of need!"
"If you'll excuse me..." To Sophia's surprise, Pedro stands up from the straw and gives a small bow before speaking. "I, for one, would also like to nominate myself for captaincy. I believe I can bring order to the team in a moment of chaos."
Sophia crosses her arms and stares at Pedro defiantly.
"All right, who votes for Pedro?" Chris asks, to which nobody but Sophia raises their hand. "Who votes for Sophia?"
Both Pedro and Corey raise their hands.
"Barbara, why don't you vote?" Chris asks.
"Well, I thought I should be the captain!" says Barbara, with an oblivious smile.
"Congratulations, Sophia, you're the new captain!" Chris announces, while Sophia seems to be doing her best to contain her excitement.
"Thank you so much, everyone, for this great honor!"
"Alright, any last words for Celia?" Chris says, redirecting the attention to the eliminated girl.
"Celia, I'm so sorry." Corey stands up to hug Celia.
"Don't worry, Coco, I'll be fine. Now I need you to win for me!" says Celia, patting her teammate on the back. "Kick the butt of that Bermuda Triangle!"
"Cece!" Ashley shouts, running at full speed towards Celia to hug her. "I'll avenge your death!"
"I'm not fucking dead," says Celia, with a confused smile.
"When I win, I promise we'll go to the best concerts together, I swear," says Ashley, still sobbing.
"That sounds great. Chris, I have to tell you something," says Celia, asking Chris to come closer. Once with the host nearby, the girl pushes him out of the train, sending him straight into the water. All contestants share an 'oooooh'.
"Dad!" Emma and Chris Jr. shout simultaneously, watching Chris fall off the train.
"Well, see you later suckers!" Celia screams, jumping off the train.
"What do we do?!" Chris Jr. screams, pale with panic.
"You make the outro! I'll stop the train!" Emma exclaims.
"Uh-Uh... Well... Who will be the next eliminated? When will they lose... Uh... You know... Who will win the money in the end? Answers to this and more in the next episode of Express Tour... Total Drama!"
Confessional
Pedro - Well... Now that Miss Sophia has come to power, I think that unlike what I had planned, I will have to work a little more from the shadows... Not dirty, I would never play dirty. But I think there are several things that should be properly investigated.

And here ends Chapter Five! I'm writing this story in 'arcs', and this is the end of the introductory arc, or whatever you want to call it. After each arc of five chapters, there will be a "The Aftermath" to recap and kick off the next arc. This was a big chapter, and it's one of the ones I've enjoyed writing the most, so I hope you enjoy it. I feel like as the chapters go by and the cast gets smaller, I'm finding the balance for all the characters to have their little moments and defined personalities, so now that we're much further along, I want to hear your predictions again, at least about who you think will make it to the merge and, more importantly, about the Bermuda Triangle. Now, I'm going to respond to a few lovely reviews.
CodyOnTheBounce T.V - Congratulations! You got one conspiracy theory right. On the other hand, I think it's going to be much more complicated for Charlie/Spencer, so wish them luck! Thanks for reviewing!
Nobody245 - The idea of making it a last one standing challenge is something I thought about, but I thought the chapter might drag on too long, and we also wouldn't have the classic mystery resolution scene like in Agatha Christie's books, so in the end, I decided to make it a scripted murder. I'm glad you like Lucy, and don't worry, she'll stand up to Charlie sooner than later. I feel bad for Kevin because, even though he's a very fun character to write, he's a strong candidate for an early elimination.
DaringDF1827 - I want to congratulate you, Sophia finally is the captain, and it only took her like... four chapters. I'm interested in hearing your Bermuda Triangle theory! DM me! Thank you for reviewing!
thedragonrooster - weally scawy indeed, lmao. I'm glad you liked the challenge, and I'm even more glad you're liking Barbara, and I hope you like this chapter too since it has a lot of Barbara (All chapters have a lot of Barbara because we love her).
Spacezodiac - Thank you for another excellent review, I always look forward to yours. I hope you're looking forward to the different plotlines that are taking shape now, and I'm so happy that the Ryuuko/Spencer duo is something you like watching because together they make something that literally writes itself. Unfortunately, Sophia finally got her coveted position, so we won't be able to make fun of her anymore. You guessed that Sophia would go after Celia, but I guess you didn't expect her to win over Celia. Anyway, welcome to the Gretchen fan club! We're many and we're always open to new members.
Now, onto the important stuff, today's elimination. From now on, all eliminations are going to be quite complicated to write because they're characters I love and, seriously, they write themselves (how much I love writing this cast is the reason why I have such a decent update pace). I wanted the final elimination of each arc to be big, and Celia was the one I ultimately determined, even though I love her. But don't despair! Celia's story isn't over yet. For more information on that, wait for the next chapter: "The Aftermath I: The Bermuda Triangle".
