Physical Appearance
Jade is a mutant cat with fur that's mostly a milky-brown color, except for her tail, which is white with a black tip. She has thick, wavy auburn hair that ends just past her shoulders; she usually wears it down, but will pull it back into a ponytail to fight. She has chocolate-brown eyes. One of her most predominant features is the strawberry-pink eyeshadow-like markings, which she also had when she was still human. She has a slim, athletic and feminine figure, a soft pink nose, and her tail is slimmer than her 1987 and 2k12 counterparts (similar to her Mirage counterpart).
When in her human form, Jade has a peachy complexion and the same pink eyeshadow-like markings from before, though is scrawnier and usually looks tired.
Unlike her brothers, Jade wears clothes alongside her ninja gear. Though her outfit changes from time to time, her debut attire consists of a dark gray tank top with a black sports bra underneath, a dark pink tennis skort, black fingerless gloves, gray knee and elbow pads, a brown belt that holds her Tessen, her pink mask either tied around her neck or used to hold her ponytail up, and watermelon-pink hanfu boots with white soles.

Personality
Jade is described as a God-fearing woman. Though she is usually quiet and meek, as the eldest child, Jade has a loving, motherly and patient personality. A natural optimist, she tries to see good and beauty in everything, no matter how disgusting. Once she's warmed up to people, Jade has been shown to be curious, adventurous and fun-loving, a commonality with her brother Mikey, and is described as someone who always does what she wants. She would much rather explore the city and run around playing games, as opposed to just sticking to the shadows.
Despite her reputation of being sweet and gentle, Jade has been shown to be a ruthlessly efficient kunoichi, even if she's not as physically powerful as her brothers. She has the greatest dexterity of the five, mostly thanks to wielding the Tessen, and is not above striking below the belt or hitting certain nerves especially hard. She mostly relies on her nimbleness, stealth, wits and deception during battle. She has a bit of a sassy side, which usually either comes out in battle and/or when teasing her brothers. Nevertheless, she follows a code of honor like the rest of her family.
Jade, however, is still a teenage girl, and has the capacity to be short-tempered, immature, shortsighted, and overly-emotional, which can cloud her judgment and cause her to act on impulse. This side of her mostly comes out whenever she's frustrated, when she reaches the end of her patience fuse, when she's struggling against intrusive thoughts, or when confronted with her own insecurities. Jade admittedly suffers from low self-esteem, mostly coming from the fact that she cannot contribute in battle the same way her brothers can, and fears that she'll just slow them down. To compensate, she does other things for their approval, mostly in the form of helping out with tasks/chores or being ready to heal them at any moment; this mindset leads her to being a people-pleaser, and having a hard time saying 'no'.
Like her other versions, Jade is a devout Christian, ever since finding a Children's Bible in the sewers when she was eight, and then later an actual Bible at fourteen. Her faith in God is the most important thing to her, as it has helped her through the darkest and scariest times of her life. Despite her timidity, she is very diligent and refuses to do something that will violate her beliefs. She is even willing to walk away from her loved ones if she feels they are doing something that isn't right, even if it pains her. Though she struggles with her own insecurities and shortsightedness, Jade tries to bear the Fruit of the Spirit whenever she can: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Of course, she loses this fight more than once, causing her to temporarily grow anxious and beat herself up from time to time.
Jade is in-touch with her femininity and inner child. She is naturally nurturing, forgiving, free-spirited and a bit goofy, and enjoys baking, cleaning, sewing, shopping, gaming, watching cartoons, collecting stuffed animals, eating junk food, and playing, which she admits are also great stress relievers. She has a weakness for things that are cute and/or pink, as evidenced by how she decorates her room. Jade has a great appreciation for fashion, especially dresses and skirts, and has a habit of wearing them whenever she doesn't have to train or fight (and ends up getting frustrated when unexpected battles happen and her clothes get ruined).
Powers, Abilities and Skills
Like her brothers, Jade is well-trained in the arts of ninjutsu by Master Splinter, and possesses strength, speed, reflexes, agility, endurance, recovery speed, and stamina much greater than even the finest human athletes.
Jade possesses a few unusual abilities. One of which is her Healing Powers, which allows her to heal others of injuries and sickness, and can be done by consuming her tears, blood, a strand of hair, mucus and/or saliva. She prefers to heal others by putting her tears or blood in baked goods (she usually does this by having Mikey make her cry with laughter into the batter), though it's not instantaneous and can take anywhere between 1 to 24 hours, depending on the severity. However, she cannot heal scars, cure disabilities, or reverse mutations, and needs to be consumed within 12 hours, otherwise the treats will lose their healing properties. This power is actually a driving factor in her desire to contribute to the team, believing she always has to be ready and able to make "healing treats" at any given moment.
Another unusual ability is Fusion, which allows Jade to merge her mind and body with another person, combining their personalities, appearances, skills and strengths. However, it can only be done with others who also possess the Fusion ability. Jade can pass this ability to others if her blood mixes with theirs.
It is currently unknown why Jade has these two abilities, but all will be revealed soon…
Outside of ninjutsu, Jade has also been shown to be a skilled baker, cake decorator, and seamstress.
Like her other versions, Jade is forcefully turned into a human every month on the 28th, and will remain that way for 24 hours. The transformation leaves her scrawny and weakened, and she's unable to use any of her powers/abilities during this time. Again, it's unknown why, though Donnie chalks it up to a 'weird genetic quirk'.
Weapons
For most of the series, Jade wields a Tessen.
During her time in 2105, Jade wields a pink Ninja Tek Tessen.
Besides her weaponry, Jade has also been known to use her claws and fangs during a fight.
Relationships
Leonardo – Jade has great respect for Leo, admitting that she admires his leadership skills and that she could never do it, though she is not above pulling the "big sister" card if she feels he's going too far. They get along fairly well; as the eldest son and daughter, they work together to keep their younger brothers safe. Jade is usually the one to pull Leo away from his training sessions, mostly to make sure he gets enough food and rest.
Raphael – Out of all her brothers, it's Raph who Jade butts heads with the most. Raph has been known to tease and mess with Jade, who in turn sasses him and responds with a sunny disposition just to tick him off. However, they care deeply for each other. Jade tries to help Raph through his anger whenever she can, and they always have each other's backs in battle.
Donatello – Donnie and Jade get along well. Jade is the only one willing to listen to Donnie's "technobabble" (as Raph puts it), which actually helped her understand him more as time went on, and helps out in the lab in any way she can. Due to them both having calm and gentle natures, Jade and Donnie have an unspoken understanding of each other.
Michelangelo – Out of all the siblings, it's Jade who spoils Mikey the most. She is usually the one who entertains and even goes along with his ideas most of the time, admitting that she has a lot of fun doing so, and has much greater patience for him than the others. Due to their shared hobbies and interests (particularly cartoons, superhero comics, cooking/baking, and video games), Mikey and Jade end up spending a lot of their free time together, allowing them to develop a special brother-sister bond.
Master Splinter – Jade loves and deeply respects Splinter. She enjoys training and spending time with him, and is grateful for his patience and wisdom. However, there are times when she questions his role as a father, but usually keeps these thoughts to herself.
Trivia/Fun Facts
