Disclaimer: I don't own any characters appearing in this fic except if it's my OCs which rarely makes an appearance.
One would expect that a mission that involves an entire multiverse might take weeks or even months to finish but the AWA is pretty different on its own right. With the combined efforts of everyone involved, they managed to finish the first phase of their mission in a course of three days and are now getting ready for the second phase.
A lot of heroes would make their return to the academy and brought along many people that they've rescued and some of these people decided to join the AWA such as Bruno Delinger, Chris Redfield, Demitri Maximoff, Frank West, Heihachi Mishima, Hsien-Ko, Jill Valentine, Morrigan Aensland, Rikiya Busujima and Valkyrie.
Although the first phase of the mission is over, everyone are aware that a few victims of the bright light are yet to be rescued, heck, Derek Padillia is yet to be found.
However, it is assured that rescuing the remaining victims of the bright light is one of the three main priorities in the second phase of the mission and the other two includes confronting the person responsible of this mess.
But that'll be explaining later on...

Plumber's Headquarters, Earth's Orbit
The story opens with the Plumber's Headquarters which is a gigantic space station orbiting around the Earth and inside, we head towards the area where the prisoners are being kept.
And inside one cell, we see Gary Smith, Hitomi Uzaki, Junko Asagiri and Kanta Mizuno sitting in all four corners of the room while wrapped in straitjackets. And all of them are being silently observed by Ibiki Morino and Max Tennyson just outside their cell but none of them can see the two because the cell door is made of a two-way mirror.
"So, none of them are cracking?" Ibiki guessed.
Max crossed his arms, "Indeed." he confirmed, "We tried to pry some info from them but these guys are surprisingly tight-lipped." he stated, "We nearly had that Kanta boy to say something until he knocked himself out by smashing his head hard on the table." he stated.
"Is that why I was called here?" Ibiki assumed.
Max nodded in response, "Yes." he confirmed, "We'll be needing your methods of interrogation, so we can squeeze a little bit of information out of them." he stated.
"Then leave it to me." Ibiki accepted.
"Hey, guys!" a voice called out.
Ibiki and Max then turns around to see Misato Katsuragi walking towards them.
"Hello, Miss Katsuragi." Max greeted, "What's your business here?" he inquired.
"I'm here to pick up the new girl that will be joining the AWA." Misato answered, "I've been assigned to look after her by the headmaster." she revealed.
Max's eyes widen in realization, "Oh, I see." he uttered out loud, "I totally forgot that girl is being released today." he admitted.
"The one who murdered the other magical girls back in Mitakihara?" Ibiki assumed.
Max nodded in response, "Indeed." he confirmed, "She's been held captive here for a quite a while and had been redeeming herself ever since." he stated, "You can also thank Miss Madoka Kaname for visiting her cell every week in order to have a talk to her." he added, "Despite knowing that girl is responsible for killing her cousin, Miss Madoka still have the heart to reach out for her." he stated with a smile, "And from what I've seen so far, I believed that Miss Madoka had already forgiven that girl." he declared.
"Miss Madoka is kind soul after all." Ibiki commented, "Shame that she can be despicable at times." he uttered with a blank look.
Misato groaned in response, "You can thank those idiots for that." she stated.
As this is going, two Plumber agents made their way towards Ibiki, Max and Misato while a figure follows them from behind.
And this figure is none other than Suzune Amano.
"Miss Katsuragi, we brought her here." an agent presented.
Misato smiled in response, "Thank you." she expressed in gratitude before turning to Suzune, 'Please to meet you, Miss Amano." the older woman greeted, "My name is Misato Katsuragi and I'll be in charge of you for now on." she introduced herself alongside a declaration, "I do hope we get along well." she said with a grin.
"Yes." Suzune replied before taking a bow, "Please do look after me." she accepted.

AWA Starship, AWA Academy
Travelling across the stars, the AWA Starship is currently making it's way towards a certain world, passing-by other starships and various planets on the process. Inside a wide & spacious dimly lit room located somewhere in the AWA Academy, we see a number of people gathered around on the floor, sitting on zabutons of various shapes, sizes and colors.

And standing right in front of everyone are Brannew and Lelouch Lamperogue with a green-colored board behind him and a table with a projector in front.
"First of all..." Lelouch trailed, "... thank you for coming to this meeting." he expressed in gratitude, "And I commend everyone of their contributions in the first phase of our mission." he furthered, "We are gathered here today for a discussion about the second phase of this mission." he stated, "And that is to enter the Void." he revealed with everyone murmuring in response.
"According to Rob Wrecker..." Brannew trailed, "... the Void is a secret dimension where figures and objects from the world, particularly Elmore are erased from the world due to being 'mistakes'." he begun, "Over the course of the world's history, whenever a person, object, invention, game, claim, fashion style, animal, or other miscellany that was considered a mistake to the world came into existence, it would be removed and erased from the real world and ends up in the Void." he explained, "Sometimes when a person is sent to the Void, they seem to be frozen in time like a paused video, but one can break them out of it just by touch." he furthered, "The Void has TV static as its background or outer space, and the laws of physics are warped in the Void so that there is less gravity and the direction of gravity's pull twists and varies all around the place." he added, "The mistakes sent to the Void are left hovering or floating all around it unless they are standing on a floating platform." he described.
"We have three objectives upon entering the void." Lelouch begun, "The first is to rescue the remaining victims of the bright light, whom all alongside Derek Padillia, have been confirmed to be detected in that place." he explained, "The second is to find and apprehend the culprit behind this mess." he furthered, "And last but the not least, our last objective..." he trailed, "... is to destroy the Void for good." he concluded with a determined expression.

The Void
Meanwhile in the Void and on one floating platform, we see Derek Padilla sitting on a log while roasting a hotdog by the a campfire when the mysterious hooded figure made their presence and stood next to him.
Derek then gestured a hand for them to take a seat to which they accepted, he then handed them a hotdog on a stick to which they proceed to point it near the campfire.
And despite their hood obscuring most of their face, they let out a small and faint smile.
And that's the epilogue for this fic and I hope that you all enjoy it, and I would like to thank everyone who've read this Mission Fic from start to finish, I really appreciate it! This is the longest Mission Fic I've written so far and despite it's lengthly conclusion, I'm glad and grateful that a lot of readers stuck with it 'till the end.
Now... this is just the first phase of this particular mission storyline and just as stated in this chapter, there is a second phase that will take place in the Void. Don't worry, unlike the mission storyline in this fic, the next one will probably conclude in just two or three chapters.
But before I start the next mission storyline, I'm gonna upload some chapters on my others fics that I've been neglegting for quite a while now. First of all, I'll be uploading four chapters in the All Worlds Alliance Chronicles - Assorted Stories which will feature unseen stories that occured during the course of the All Worlds Alliance Missions - CROSSOVERDOSE. And afterwards, I'm going to upload a single chapter of All Worlds Alliance Stories which will serve as a preface for the next mission storyline.
