So this is a sequel to a fic posted in the Ninja Turtles section called 'A Disturbing Report' and I seriously recommend you read that one before you read this one, as it is crucial to understand the conflict in this story, this story takes place in my 'Neozoic Tales' which is the 2003 TMNT series combined with elements from the RPG TMNT and Other Strangeness with the combination of my own fictional universe called 'First Earth' (As opposed to the Turtles' Third Earth) an Older Universe far more advanced in its timeline where Anthro Animals have been slaves of humans for five thousand years and only recently gained civil rights on some planets, on Third Earth the revelation there are more Mutant Animals then anyone could have imagined has led to them being granted civil rights, the Punch Out characters reprisent humans who want to be welcoming to the Mutants but are running into problems with culture clash.
After the incident with the Wolf Humanimal, the Boxers of the W.V.B.A. Were determined to investigate more into what was going on between the two different groups of Animal People,
The next day after the incident, a group consisting of the Minor Circut and the Major Circut Boxers minus King Hippo went to visit their Mutant Neighbors in the newly created Mutant Villaige of Forest.
As they crossed the bridge Glass Joe mused to himself how it really was like stepping into something out of a storybook! The world of cold gray stell and concrete of New York City was instead replaced by an enchanted worled of trees and foilage! The Humanimals had given the Mutants enchanted trees which could be hollowed out to become houses or apartment complexes, with Leonado's martial arts school being the only real 'normal' building made of concrete and glass sticking out like a sore thumb. But the rest of it really was an enchanted fiaryland with giant trees with doors and windows, with laundry lines going between the trees and in the upper branches there were brides so creatures who lived in the canopy floors (And also didn't have wings) could travel to neiboring trees without desending, Glass Joe for his part really apprcianted the sense of enchantment he got from this place.
However the humans' exploation of Forest was cut short, by two of the Ninja Turtles, Leonardo and Donatello dropping down in front of them, Leonardo in particular had a very ticked off expression on his face, the Boers could guess because he had learned of the W.V.B.A.'s attempts to recruit his pupils and part of that was simply the Humans didn't realize those Mutants were underage...It's not always easy to tell just by looking at them, particurally when the Mutants were enhanced to be larger and stronger then a human would be at that age!
"You...Are not welcome here..." Leo's voice was low and dangerous "...This place is for the Mutants, only certain humans can come here unannounced!"
"Um...Sorry Sir..." Bear Hugger said with typical Canadian Politness "...We just...Want to get to know our new neighbors better."
"So you can recruit them some more?" Leo snarled
"Leonardo-San." Piston Hondo tried to defuse by speaking one follower of Japanese Honor to another "We apologize for trying to recruit your students, we honestly didn't know they were underage, if anything we have come to make amends..."
Leo practically spat "You've done enough already..." He said "...Just leave, you might truamatize the Mutants if they see some of the humans who blasted them..."
And that's when the Boxers knew Rover had told his Teacher what they felt had been told in confidence, that Von Kaiser, Piston Hondo and Soda Popinski during the Mutant Riots had participated in Mutant Hunting Militias, they only learned later that those Mutants had been under a form of mind control and felt horribly guilty about killing them, but how were they to know that at the time?
Having that cruely thrown in his face, Von Kaiser nearly snapped at tried to lunge at Leonardo but Glass Joe and Piston Hondo held him back and with that the Boxers meekly went back over the bridge dragging Von Kaiser with them, so going to Forest was not going to work, they were going to have to employ different tactics,
None of them knew that a Mutant had been secretly watching the whole event, and was interested in the Boxers...
So yeah in this story the Turtles mostly Leonardo are being antagonistic because they think the W.V..B.A is a disreputable orginazation and the Boxers fight without honor so Leo was being a bit of a dick for throwing that in Von Kaiser's face given his own experience's with PTSD also in the subject of language, I'm borrowing from a Punch Out Fanfic called Snapped for the sake of simplicity and the fact I don't trust Google Translate that much and having the Non-English speaking Boxers speaking mostly English peppered with forgien words from time to time
