Hello everyone, welcome to a new chapter of The Dark Knight called Laurel meets Damian. In this chapter we get to see Laurel Lance meet Damian Wayne, they begin to talk about what has happened in the city and rumors of Batman showing up in Starling City.

Laurel meets Damian

[Starling City - The next day with Laurel Lance at CNRI]

Laurel Lance has a shocked look on her face. Why does she have this look? It was what she heard at work.

From what she could tell, last night criminals were shipping drugs in toys and a corrupt cop was watching over the entire thing. She can take a guess that her dad is pissed at this, because he was drinking buddies with the arrested corrupt cop.

Shaking her head at this, Laurel takes a drink of her soda and begins to work on the sudden appearance of the Batman showing up.

But before she could do that, "Hey Laurel, can I ask you something?" Laurel turns to the left to see it was her friend Jane was the one who was talking to her.

"Sure, what is it?" Laurel asked her, wondering what Jane wanted.

Jane gives her a smile, "When are you going to ask Wayne out?" Jane asked her.

Laurel rolled her eyes at this, because of course Jane would ask this. A few months ago CNRI was almost this close to being shut down, but that didn't happen thanks to one Damian Wayne.

She had no idea why he helped them. But Laurel wasn't going to take no for an answer for him helping them. Ever since that happened, her friend Jane has been bothering her to ask Wayne out as a way of thanking him for helping them out.

Now don't get her wrong, she hasn't gone on a date for a while now, and any time she did it was a one-time thing. As for Damian Wayne, he was good looking just like his father and he has helped out a lot of people ever since he showed up in Starling City a few months ago.

Now she could ask him out, but she just feels it's not the right time.

"Listen Jane, I get that I've not been good at dating ever since what happened with Oliver. Now I'm grateful that Damian has helped out everyone here and including us. But it's not the right time." Laurel says to Jane, giving her own opinion on this.

Before anything else was said, someone greets them "Hi there"

Laurel and Jane turn to see who it is, as it was none other than Danian Wayne. The person that they have been talking about.

Giving them a smile "Hi there, your Laurel Lance right?" Damian asked Laurel.

All Laurel could do was nod her head.

"That's great. I was wondering if I could get a moment of your time about something, is that alright with you?" Damian asked her. While this was happening, Damian was using one of his gadgets to place a tracker on Laurel's phone. The reason he was doing this, he wanted to keep an eye on Laurel as she's making a lot of enemies on the criminal side of Starling City.

Seeing where this was going, Jane left as this could be the perfect time for Laurel to ask Damian out.

Laurel shakes her head trying to get it together. "Sure, what do you want to talk about?" Laurel asked him.

Taking a seat in front of her "Well you see Laurel, I just saw the news this morning and from what the news said it seems that Batman is here in Starling City." Damian says, as he wanted to know where she stands on this.

"Yeah, I saw that as well." Laurel tells him that she has seen the news as well. She wondered why he was bringing this up, so Laurel asked him "Is there any reason you're asking me this?"

Leaning back a little bit "I'm just a little curious on what you think on all of this with Batman showing up?" Damian answers her question and asks her with one of his own.

Rubbing the back of her neck "Well I think this could cause some problems later down the line if one of his enemies decides to wreak havoc to draw him out." Laurel replied to his answer.

"I bet they would. But he would be ready for them if that was to happen, just like how he's done it in the past." Damian says. As that is what he's doing right now, thanks to all the information his father sent to him last night.

Laurel had to admit, Damian was right about that as she watched the news on what Batman does in Gotham and how he always comes out on top when he takes down his enemies. "So, is that all you wanted to talk about?" Laurel asked him.

Damian gives her a nod, "Yeah, I just wanted to know how you stand on this matter. But I bet that CNRI is going to have a field day in the coming days with Batman around." Damian jokes a little, as Laurel laughs at this.

"Haha, you're not wrong about that." Laurel says to him.

Damian takes a look at his watch and sees what time it is, "Hey Laurel, this was good talk I had but I have to be somewhere in a few minutes." Damian tells her.

Nodding in understanding, "I know how that feels." Damian gives her a smile and is about to leave but Laurel asks him something "Hey, do you want to meet up tomorrow and talk some more?" Laurel asked him.

Damian thinks about for a moment, "Sure, why not. Anyway, I have to go to work." Damian tells her, as he leaves CNRI heads to work.

Laurel raised an eyebrow at this, Wayne Enterprises must be busy if Damian was in a rush?

It turns out Damian was stopping a drug deal with known gangs of Starling City. He easily took all of them down, and once he was done Damian left a burning Bat symbol for the police to let them know who did this.

All in all, Damian had a good day talking to Laurel and beating the hell out of criminals.

[Elsewhere]

"Well, it seems that Batman's son is making an impact in Starling City." A man says, as he looks at the news reports of the Batman in Starling.

A young woman stands next to him "When should I leave?" The young woman asked him.

He looks at her "Head out in a few days. We'll have young Damian have his fun for a little bit." The man orders her.

The young woman nods her head and leaves.

Having a huge smile on his face, "Well young Damian, you're going to be in for a surprise in the upcoming days. I just hope you kept up your training just like all Al Ghul's do." The man says with a smile on face.

Who was this man? This was none other than Ra's Al Ghul (Played by Liam Neeson)

Here we got to see: Laurel being shocked that Batman is here in Starling City, Laurel talking to her friend Jane, Laurel meeting Damian Wayne and talking over on what Impact that Batman will make in Starling City, and a man/Ra's Al Ghul ordering a young woman to head towards Starling City in a few days.
