Summary: After completing his training with Oliver Queen, Barry feels that he's ready to take on the world with his knowledge and training, not knowing that some things will be different then how it originally went down.

Intro

My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. After waking up in this strange new world and in the body of Barry Allen no less, after some intense thinking, I've ultimately decided to stay and accepted my new identity as Barry to see if I have what it takes to be a true hero, there dangers lurking in every corners of the city and with my knowledge of how things will go down I am the only one fast enough to stop them. I am The Flash.

-Few Days Later-

After defeating the meta-humans Cisco has named Multiplex and The Mist on two separate occasions and locking them up in the newly stated "Pipeline" at STAR Labs, the mysterious red blur has been gaining a lot of attention and popularity on a worldwide scale, sightings of him has him saving people from a burning building or him stopping some arm thieves from robbing Central City Bank, as more and more sightings of him has been a bit of a normal occurrence here in Central City, there are people that are still not yet used to the red blur who the people have learned his name is The Flash, namely the police. While some of them are skeptical at believing in someone that no one has exactly seen, the other half of the station believes in The Flash and are grateful for him taking care of the metas that the police aren't even remotely equipped to deal with just yet.

Flash-forward we have Barry practicing his new skills that he picked up from Oliver during his training with him, determined to better sharpen his skills so that he can be ready for anything that the metas or even regular criminals throw at him. Along with that he's also further improving his abilities that stems from his speed, in order to improve his speed and make him faster for any challenges that will come. Meanwhile Caitlin, Cisco and Dr. 'Wells' are at the cortex monitoring his vitals to make sure he isn't pushing himself too hard.

"Wow, Barry's really committed to this whole superhero thing he's got going on isn't he? I mean he created his own suit and everything, even got training lessons from the Arrow himself for 2 whole months! Just what is the point of this if we already have Superman and Batman." Said Caitlin, wondering why Barry is so determined for this sort of thing if there was already other heroes around.

"Well I think it's cool he's so determined to be a hero and help people like Superman and Batman, if I had powers like him I'd do the same thing, though I don't know if I can handle 2 whole months of training with The Arrow himself like Barry did." Said Cisco.

"Well I think that we should be grateful that Mr.Allen here has decided to get some training in before going back into the field, he did good when he first started this thing but since his training with The Arrow? It seems that he's even better then before, plus you won't have to patch him up as much Caitlin nor would you have to repair your suits that much Cisco." Said Dr.Wells.

"Well that is true." "But then all my work hard on those suits would've gone to waste!" Said Caitlin/Whined Cisco respectively.

"Well look on bright side, Caitlin you can continue your medical research again and Cisco if Barry happens to run into more superheroes then I'm sure one or two of them will need your expertise on creating suits right?" Said Dr. Wells.

"Hmm, seems like Mr.Allen is starting to get the hang on his powers and his fighting prowess is nearly up to Mr.Queen levels, if this keeps up then I might have to up my plans a little bit faster then I thought."

"Huh...well I suppose you're right about that Dr.Wells" said both Caitlin and Cisco at the same time after they've given it some thought.

Any further conversation between the three of them are cut off as the STAR Labs alert went off, signaling that there's a robbery in progress at 4th and collins.

"Barry there's a robbery at 4th and Collins!" Said Cisco.

Barry heard Cisco from the training room announcing the robbery in progress and instantly knows what's going on.

"Snart already huh? Damn time does fly by when you're training or saving lives, better go stop him then."

With that said Barry sped into his suit and flashed away to the crime scene, racing through Central City is always exhilarating for him and it's an easy way to clear his mind and just focusing running.

By the time Barry got there he saw the robbery in progress and with a few hits on the pressure point of the neck, a move courtesy of Oliver, Barry was able to take out two of them but not before one of them was able to shoot the passenger of the attempted stolen truck and cause of that he and Snart were able to get away, leaving Barry to take the injured man to the nearest hospital which was St. Andrews.

"Damn, even with my increased powers and abilities one of Snart's guys were STILL able to shoot the guy? Guess not everyone I save will come out unscathed. Hmm, since Snart saw me in action now, he's on the path of becoming Captain Cold, I could stop him from stealing the Cold Gun but the damn writers of the series never revealed when one of his guys were able to steal it, which is total BS, thank goodness I had the foresight to install a heating and cooling system in my suit, just thought it wouldn't be needed this soon."

With that said, Barry dropped off the man at the hospital and met up with the CCPD at the crime scene, after telling the Captain what went down and how it went down, Barry and Joe went to CCPD to identify the man that Barry saw.

"So Joe, the man at the crime scene was Leonard Snart, from what I saw he was doing at the crime scene, it looked like he was trying to rob the Kahndaq Dynasty Diamond from the truck as it was being transported to the Central City Museum."

"I wasn't aware you knew who Snart was Barry, or that you knew he was gonna steal from the Central City Museum." Said Joe.

"Fuck did I say too much? Gotta be careful what I say around the others when I'm not alone, I forgot that I'm in season one of the series so therefore I shouldn't know all that stuff about Snart or anyone else for that matter just yet."

"Oh sorry Joe, I didn't tell you? When I got back from Starling I realized that in order to remember everything about the criminals here at Central and not in Starling I had asked the Captain if I could go over the mug shots of Central City's most wanted, so I could remember everything as the criminals here and in Starling are so similar that my knowledge of them got mixed up. And it came to my attention that Snart would eventually steal from the museum. That's all Joe and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I had thought I did at some point."

"Please believe that lie I made up."

"Hmm, well I guess the crime at Starling really is that bad if you couldn't remember that much about the criminals here but try not to forget again ok? We'd need our CSI to be at 100%." Said Joe, relieved that Barry is ok again.

"You got it Joe." Said Barry.

"Phew, I really gotta be careful what I say when I'm around the others, I got lucky today but next time I might not be so lucky, gotta remember that Joe is a master detective after all, he of all people cannot know I'm not the Barry Allen he remembers. It would break his heart."

Time Skip

As Barry, Iris, and Felicity met up in Barry's lab, Iris and Felicity meet for the first time and Barry and Felicity left to go catch up, with Barry revealing his speed to Felicity and showing her around STAR Labs, Snart however was determined to take down the vigilante known as The Flash, so he's going to have one of his men pose as a janitor to steal tech from STAR Labs as he wanted "state of the art" tech to slow down and eliminate The Flash. As he was looking for who could be sneaky enough to steal such weapons capable of doing the job, he was whisked away at high speeds by a mysterious man in a yellow suit to an unknown location. After being carried out far from the city he was thrown on the ground hard and was sent rolling down till he came to a stop, struggling to get to his feet after the intense run he finds himself face to face with a man that looks like The Flash but very much not The Flash since his suit is the exact opposite of The Flash's suit as his suit is yellow with red lighting bolts on his arms and waist with red boots to complete the look.

"Oh great now who the hell are you supposed to be, a flash wannabe fanboy reject? Trying to be a "hero" like him?" Said Snart, not knowing that this man could've killed him in an instant if he didn't need him.

*laughs at that* "My dear ignorant Leonard Snart, oh no, I'm not like The Flash at all, some would say I'm the Reverse." Said the mysterious yellow blur.

"Yea sure whatever you say pal, now what the hell do you want with me-" Snart was cut off as the mysterious yellow blur flashed in from of him with his hand vibrating pointed right at his heart.

"If you want to live for a few more years and get your revenge on The Flash then I suggest you shut the hell up and listen to what I have to say." Growled out the mysterious yellow blur.

Snart was about to say something snarky when he decided to just shut his mouth and hear what the other man would have to say.

Satisfied that Snart had shut his mouth the man in the yellow suit stopped his vibrating hand and pulled out two different types of guns and presented them to Snart.

"I hear you're looking for some high quality weapons to eliminate The Flash, these right here are your best options of doing so." Said the man in the yellow suit.

"Oh really?" Asked Snart. "Hmm, I guess I should see if it's true, if so, then I suppose as an honorable man I'd have a debt to repay."

"Very well, you've gotten my attention, what do they do?" Asked Snart, curious as to what those guns do and how they work.

"The first one might not look as much but this one fires off a highly concentrated combustible liquid fuel that ignites on contact with the air. Basically you light anything on fire." Said The Man In Yellow.

"Look if I wanted to burn The Flash to a crisp I'd get a damn flame thrower, I don't need to heat him up or burn him I need to slow him down, the other gun you've brought better be more useful then the first one you brought." Said Snart as he dismisses the so called "Heat Gun".

"Better watch that tone of yours Snart if you want to keep living." Threatened the mysterious blur as he presented the other gun.

"Now this bad boy can do whole lot of damage that the other gun couldn't do as what it basically does is give you a third degree frostbite on a normal person aka sudden death and as you know speed and cold are opposites from each other, temperature is measured by how fast the atoms are oscillating aka the faster they are the hotter they get and this "Cold Gun" as you could call it, can slow those atoms down to nearly at absolute zero which is achieved by a compact cryogenic engine. Use this on The Flash however? Well he'll be a shivering mess if you manage to get a lucky shot in on him, therefore he'd be to slow for you to stop him and eliminate him." Smirked the mysterious blur as he's sure he got Snart attention and cooperation by now.

Indeed the Cold Gun has gotten his attention as he grabs the gun from the speedster's hand and inspects, having felt drawn to it, almost as it's calling to him but he shook off the feeling to ask a very important question since he got here.

"Let's say I agree to take the Cold Gun and eliminate him, what do you want? I know you wouldn't bother taking me to the middle of nowhere just to offer me this gun." Said Snart.

"Well, let's just say that when the time comes, I'll need you to join a team I'm putting together and your gonna do it anyway unless you suddenly don't feel like living anymore." Said the yellow blur as he vibrates his hand again and slowly moves it to his heart. "Are you in? Or not" said the man in yellow.

"If I accept I'd be doing someone else's bidding and Leonard Snart does not do anyone else's bidding...but if I die who would be there for Lisa?"

After some thinking he ultimately decided to accept this man's offer and to join his future team.

"Fine, I'll join your team but as for now I'm on my own." Said Snart as he takes a step back away from the vibrating hand.

"Good to see you have some common sense Mr Snart, when the time comes, I'll come for you." Said the man in yellow as he turns around and prepares to run.

"Wait, what about the Heat Gun? I don't want it now that I've gotten what I need." Said Snart.

"Keep it, or better yet, give it to someone who you trust or love the danger of fire." With that said the man who said he was the Reverse of The Flash sped off.

"...Couldn't give me a ride back? Figures." Scoffed Snart as he walks off with the Cold and Heat guns.

"Someone who I trust or loves fire huh? Interesting." Snart thinks for a moment before he realizes who exactly fits that description, taking out his phone he calls his old partner Mick Roy. "Mick? I got a job offer for you that I think you'll like, you in?" Smirked Snart as he figured out how to get The Flash's attention.

Once Snart found what he was looking for, he made off with the stolen Cold Gun to get The Flash's attention and eliminate him, but not without setting up a contingency plan with his partner Mick Roy.

While 'Dr.Wells', Cisco, and Caitlin try to find out who stole the weapons capable of stopping The Flash, with 'Dr.Wells' being angry at Cisco for creating such weapons since he himself despises weapons, Barry, Felicity, Iris and Eddie are at an event at Jitters, with Iris having the intention of hooking Barry up with Felicity since they're so similar and still single. While Barry is attracted to Felicity, he knows not to try anything with her as A) she's Oliver's girl (for now) and B) he really doesn't want to get shot at with arrows.

"If I try anything Oliver might find a way to dampen my speed much sooner and try a lot more then just shoot me with arrows" Shuddered Barry as he can already imagine the ass-whooping he'd get from Oliver if he tries anything with Felicity.

While Barry, Felicity, Iris and Eddie are having fun at their event, Eddie's crime alert app went off, signaling that Joe has found Snart and is currently pursuing him and is requesting backup. As Eddie makes his way to Joe's location and strangely enough Iris follows him, Barry and Felicity are making excuses as to why Barry disappeared from the event to have a solid alibi. With that said and done Barry dons his Flash suit and speeds his way to Snart's location so he can stop him.

"This time around you won't be getting away Snart." Thought Barry as he continues making his way to Joe and Snart's location.

By the time Barry had arrived there, he saw that the police were there with the road all frozen over and that Snart and Joe were inside the theater. Knowing how this goes down Barry speeds in and grab all the citizens in there along with Joe and places them outside, including the security guard in the far back room, far away from Snart so none of them will get caught in the crossfire. When Barry returns after checking if all the citizens are clear, he saw Snart wearing a blue parka with goggles on his face and holding a strange looking gun.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the mysterious red blur they call The Flash, quite the famous man you've become haven't you." Said Snart.

"So you and everyone else says, and you are? Oh I think I know, you're the guy from the attempted robbery from earlier today, am I right?" Said Flash.

"Remember, I gotta pretend I don't know him like that just yet."

"Well as you may know I'm Leonard Snart but now? You can call me Captain Cold, you see Flash the reason all this is happening is because of you, you interfered and stopped me from pulling a job, a job that would've made me a very rich man, but then you showed up, stopped the job before it was even halfway done and then I was forced to flee with my partner, and nearly having my reputation destroyed, never once has that happened before and it's cause of you I've been forced to step up my game. And I have to say thank you Flash, for you have shown me who i really am." Said Cold.

"Well, then "Captain Cold", that gun of yours is causing enough damage as I saw outside so here is what gonna happen, you're gonna give me that gun, go to the police outside and surrender yourself, or I can take the gun from you by force, knock your ass out and maybe give you just a mild headache. What do you say?" Said Flash.

"Hmm...I say...NEITHER!." yelled Cold as he activated the cold gun and fired at Flash, with Flash moving out the way quickly thanks to his speed and enhanced reflexes, with Cold firing left and right hoping to catch Flash off guard and hit him to slow him down but to his dismay and anger, he saw that Flash was well trained in this sort of thing, as he was dodging and weaving without any effort and getting closer to Cold, almost as if he knew what he was gonna do before he even did it.

"Damn, The Flash is better at this I expected, no matter, as long as I have my backup plan in motion he'll have no choice but to let the both of us go" Smirked Snart.

Eventually Flash was to get closer to Snart by continuing to duck and evade the shots fired at him to the point where he was able to snatch the cold gun without Snart even noticing and have him up against the wall.

"Its over Cold, now are you gonna surrender like I told you to do or will I need to do more then give you just a mild headache." Said Flash.

"Oh Flash, flash, flash, for someone so fast you sure are slow aren't you. Sure you might've stopped me now but in a few seconds you're gonna let me go." Smirked Cold.

"And why the hell would I do that when I have you right where I want you?" Said Flash, ready to turn the criminal turned villain to the authorities.

"Haven't you wondered why it's so quiet outside? Why the police aren't barging in right this moment? Well it's cause my partner with a similar gun to mine has a hostage right now and guess what? I heard she's one of the police officer's daughter, am I right?" Smirked Cold.

"Iris? Man how the hell did they-ugh finish that thought later, need to figure out how this shit happened, this sure as hell didn't go like this in the show, Mick Roy definitely didn't have his heat gun before then nor was he supposed to be here at this moment, the hell is going on? I'll think of this later, I have to save Iris...no matter how bad of a character she was in the later seasons I can't just let her die." Thought Flash.

"Tick Tock, tick tock, whats is it gonna be Flash? Sending me to the authorities and letting that poor woman die, or letting me and my partner escape while she lives, your choice Flash." Smirked Snart.

"Ugh, damn it all!"

"You show your face around my city again and next time a hostage won't save you and your partner from me going after you. Got it?" Said Flash releasing Cold.

"Got it, ta ta for now Flash." Smirked Cold as he and his partner self named Heatwave escaped the scene.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to work on my speed mirages time remnants so that something like this won't happen again." Thought Flash as he left the building to be met with the officers of CCPD.

"Detectives, Captain." Nods Flash as he speeds out of there back to STAR Labs.

With Flash speeding towards STAR Labs to question where the guns have come from, he couldn't help but noticed that today was different then how it went in the series.

"Either my knowledge of the series isn't as fine tuned as I thought it was, or something else is at play here, and whatever it is I will stop it."

-Time Skip-

With Joe and Eddie making sure that Iris is alright after the ordeal, they questioned what she was doing there in the first place and she explained that she followed Eddie to see the situation and wanted to write about it for her Flash blog that she's writing and she might've got a bit too close to the action and that's how Heatwave was able to hold her hostage, thus preventing the police from entering the theater, and with Barry "questioning" the group at STAR where the guns have came from, with him telling Cisco that he understands where he was coming from since Cisco admitted to have created the weapons, he went home to have some R after a long day but not before seeing Felicity off at the station she went back to Starling City.

-Meanwhile-

When everyone cleared out of STAR Labs, only 'Dr.Wells' remained in the building, as he's going home he makes a stop at a nearby hallway that opens up a mysterious futuristic door when he placed his palm on it and once inside the futuristic room as it closes behind him, he easily stands up from his chair as if he could walk the whole time.

"Gideon, I need you to check the future, make sure the timeline is intact." Said 'Wells'

"Of course Dr. Wells." Said a holographic woman that appears and shows a picture of the future from the year 2024 that reads "FLASH VANISHES MISSING IN CRISIS"

"As it should be, Gideon continue monitoring the timeline and update me if anything changes." Smirked Thawne as he got back in the chair and becoming 'Dr. Wells' again.

"Of course Dr.Wells, goodnight" said Gideon as she shuts down for the night.

"Goodnight Gideon" says 'Dr.Wells' as he leaves the room and goes home to rest. "Seems like Mr.Allen is becoming more and more like The Flash that I knew in every waking moment, but that's impossible, sure he's gotten some training in and his fighting prowess is far above my expectations but none of that matters as he still isn't fast enough to stop me, and because I gave Snart and Roy their guns, Mr. Roy owes Mr. Snart for the gun and since I have Mr. Snart's cooperation I by extension have Mr. Roy's cooperation as well, my future team I'm putting should be more then enough to combat The Flash and then my plans will succeed." Smirked 'Dr.Wells' as he left the room and went home.

"My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. After completing my training with Oliver Queen, I had thought that I was able to stop any of the dangers that are lurking in my city but it seems that since I've upped my training in my powers and abilities in seems that the bad guys have done so as well. It shows that I can't rely on my knowledge of the series that much and that I still have more training to do. There are dangers lurking in every corners of the city but now they're getting even more dangerous and I will the only one fast enough to stop them. I am The Flash."
