Vei continued to glance out the nearby window, knowing that it wouldn't be much longer now.
She could already feel her powers returning, the powers she'd been cut off from for so long thanks to that stupid Prime Field generator.
But now...
"Hey, Vei, can ya hear me?" Melody asked, her voice coming from Vei's earpiece communicator.
"Loud and clear, Mel," Vei answered. "Any updates yet?"
"The whole shebang should be shut down now," Melody responded. "I've gathered all of our buddies in my room, so... if you wanna... go nuts."
Vei smiled cheekily to herself. It was finally time.
"Oh, you'd better believe I'm going nuts," Vei chuckled. "Catch up with you in a bit, okay?"
With this in mind, Vei stepped out of her room and started walking towards a nearby pair of security guards.
"Hey, you shouldn't be out here right now," one guard proclaimed. "We're currently on scheduled lockdown."
"We don't want to hurt you, so if you'd please go back to your room and stay there until..." the second guard stated.
Both guards trailed off when they saw the sinister smile Vei was giving them, along with the fact that her body was surrounded by a bright silver aura.
"Oh, you don't want to hurt me?" Vei taunted. "That's rich, coming from you."
"Oh, shit, her powers have returned!" the first guard gasped.
"That's right, they have," Vei quipped, aiming her glowing right hand towards the guards. "This is the part where you should probably do the smart thing... and run."

Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger are proud to present:
Totally Spies: The New Adventures
Episode 99: Expulsion Party
Story Rated: T for Teen
Story Created: January 21st, 2024
Story Summary: The one-hundred and thirty-fifth co-op project between Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger, and episode ninety-nine of our mission-based series Totally Spies: The New Adventures. Trouble is looming at Malibu University, as for some inexplicable reason, all of the spies are facing expulsion. Naturally, the spies are very confused until they learn that this little problem is the work of Myrna Beesbottom and new baddie Professor Fremont, a spy reject who attempted to teach fake espionage courses at other universities to make unsuspecting students steal military technology for him. These two villains are apparently out to leave our spies unemployed and without a future so evil can reign supreme. Can the spies turn the tables before Myrna and Fremont can enact their wicked scheme?
Author's Notes from Mat49324: It's project #99, and we're one project away from #100, and the season 8 finale! We hope you enjoyed the last one, which was Rocket Racket. Once again, we had Scam with his egotistical mind thinking Sam is all his, but that turned out to not work out at all for Scam. Once again, this was not a proverbial "screw you" to the Sam/Scam fandom. We are just not on that ship and never will be. Anyway, we got another project lined up on the docket, which is titled Expulsion Party. If you saw in the final note for Rocket Racket, I may or may not have given away who one of the villains for that one will be (Myrna Beesbottom); well, there's another that we haven't included in this season yet. I'll be leaving it at that. For now, here's The Blue Time Ranger for anything he'd like to say.
Author's Notes from The Blue Time Ranger: Two to go! We're almost there! For the penultimate caper of season eight, we've got another member of the LAMOS on the prowl alongside a season five villain we haven't seen in The New Adventures yet. Just like in Button Mashers, this will technically be the first time the spies have faced off with Fremont because of how TNA branches off from the main series. Anyways, let's get this party started, since the final countdown has begun! ROLL IT!
And Now, the Obligatory Disclaimer: Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger do not own anything related to Totally Spies or any of its affiliations. Besides, if we did own Totally Spies, which we don't, why would we be writing fiction on a fan site?

Act 1: A Small, But Huge, Problem
2:09 P.M. – Malibu University
The Spies' Penthouse
It was another seemingly normal day at the Malibu University campus for the spy team. Currently, Sam and Alex were walking back to their penthouse together. Clover was not with them due to her Surfology class.
"Another day of classes over," Alex sighed.
"Totally," Sam remarked.
When they came in, they could see Nozomi, Melissa, and Dawn were all engaged in another Smash game.
"And that's how it's done!" Nozomi laughed.
"How about screw your stupid counter-happy play style?!" Dawn shouted.
"Maybe don't leave yourself wide open?" Melissa chuckled. "That's how Marth players tend to get you, remember?"
"Not to interrupt, but did any of you see Nick anywhere?" Alex asked.
"Uh, not since this morning," Melissa replied.
Dawn and Nozomi were no different.
"Maybe they're in a meeting with the school paper," Sam told Alex.
"Hope so," Alex replied.
"Something up, Alex?" Melissa wondered.
"I guess hearing Sammy and Mat went for Italian again made me want to head out to dinner with Nick," Alex replied.
Simultaneously, May, Bridget, and Haruka came out in their swimsuits.
"Another pool day?" Melissa asked.
"Not necessarily," Haruka replied. "Water Polo Media Day is coming up next month or so."
"So, the three of us have to get back into shape," May added. "We were heading to the Aquatic Complex to do some relays."
"And it is a little warm today, on top of it," Bridget giggled.
"True," Nozomi stated. "One of our last hurrahs of summer with Mat's Motocross season officially over."
"Did any of you see Nick earlier?" Alex wondered.
May, Haruka, and Bridget looked at each other, and they shook their heads.
"Not since this morning," May stated.
"Last I heard, he was looking at doing a story on Bridget going from the Track team to Water Polo," Dawn told the others.
"And naturally, I said yes," Bridget giggled.
"But I guess there's a formality or something to get an okay from either the coach or the head of the media relations first," Haruka replied. "Our coach went over this with us the first day."
"Someone did a story on me last season as a virtual unknown or something like that," May added.
At the same time, Mat and Britney had returned to the penthouse.
"Oh, Brit, where'd you guys go?" Sam wondered.
"We had lunch after the first desk meeting at the school paper," Mat replied.
"You joined the school paper, too, Britney?" Dawn wondered after May, Haruka, and Bridget left for the aquatic center.
"I'm thinking about it..." Britney answered. "But not the same section as Mat and Nick."
"Well, in that case, should we have our own pool day or go watch May and the others do their relays?" Dawn asked.
"I just want to find Nick," Alex told the others.
"He was at the meeting in the Newsroom," Mat told Alex. "But he ran off somewhere the minute the meeting was over..."
"That's pretty unusual that Nick would just run off somewhere and not say anything..." Melissa deduced as she approached Mat as well.
Dawn agreed there.
The spies then heard knocks on the automatic sliding doors, but it wasn't Nick or Blaine either, nor was it Clover back from Surfology.
It appeared to be someone from the Mali-U staff, who handed Sam a letter before walking away.
"Wait, we got a letter?" Haruka asked. "Who's it from?"
Sam opened the letter and proceeded to read its contents, but as she continued to read through it, the expression on her face shifted from confused to shocked to outraged all in the span of a few seconds.
"Um... Sammy, dare I ask what's got you making all of those odd faces?" Clover wondered.
"I sincerely hope that this is some kind of sick joke, but..." Sam growled before showing the others what was on the letter. "According to this, we're all in danger of being expelled!"
"Wait, we're WHAT?!" Alex shrieked.
"What's going on in here?!" Nick exclaimed as he skidded to a stop in the penthouse, having heard Alex's shout and thought something had gone wrong.
"That has to be a prank, Sam," Haruka stated. "We've all been doing really well in our classes, and we haven't gotten in trouble at any point during our time here, right?"
"This is signed and sealed by a bunch of the Mali-U faculty," Sam responded. "This is as legit as it could possibly be."
"I dunno, Sam, this all seems way too fishy to me," Nick quipped.
Alex couldn't help but glance at Nick as the spies all tried to figure out what exactly was happening. She knew that Nick wasn't planning anything malicious, that much was a fact.
But what exactly was he planning that he couldn't see fit to just tell her?
One part of her mind argued that maybe it was something he wanted to keep a surprise, even if Nick was, admittedly, not really the grandmaster of secret-keeping around these parts.
"Is everything okay in here, you guys?" Henya asked. "I heard shouting, and..."
Before anyone could explain to Henya what was going down, the penthouse recliner slid away and allowed a large metal transport tube to protrude from the floor and aim right for them.
"Ah, just our luck, too," Bridget groaned.
"Hey, bad guys never rest, do they?" May replied.
"...okay, point," Alex chuckled.
"Well, let's go and see who's trying to further piss us off today, shall we?" Nick stated as the spies all jumped into the tube, Henya following close behind.
2:34 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters
Jerry's Office
When the spies landed in Jerry's office, they quickly noticed that Sortiliena was also in the office.
"I'm gonna guess that this means another member of the LAMOS is out causing trouble?" Sam quipped.
"Right on the money, Sam," RiCO quipped as she materialized in the office and waved her hands, changing the viewscreen to a mugshot of both Myrna Beesbottom and another baddie they didn't recognize.
"Oh, wonderful, it's miss demon nanny again," Clover groaned.
"Wait, who's this other guy?" Blaine asked. "I don't think we've seen him before."
"This is Professor Fremont," Jerry explained. "A few years ago, he posed as a university professor in order to steal military equipment."
"Here's the odd thing, though," RiCO stated as the viewscreen changed to show an incident report. "Fremont apparently posed as an instructor at Malibu University, claiming to teach an 'espionage class', where he would trick his 'students' into stealing the military tech for him, all under the guise of class exercises, because he couldn't do it himself."
"Wait, hold up, did you say he tried that at Mali-U?" Sam gasped. "You don't think..."
"I was thinking the exact same thing, Sam," Mat quipped.
"Speaking of that, I'm gonna be taking a look at these bogus expulsion reports while you're out on the case," RiCO proclaimed. "When I learned that Fremont had posed as a Mali-U professor, I kinda had the same suspicions you did."
"Sometimes I don't know what we'd do without you, RiCO," Nick chuckled.
"Awww, I'm just doing my part for you guys," RiCO giggled. "Now go out there and kick some faces in!"
"That's the plan as always," Sortiliena chuckled as the spies retrieved their gadgets and set out into Beverly Hills.
2:57 P.M. – Downtown Beverly Hills
"And that's basically what happened," Sam explained to Sortiliena as the spies began to comb Beverly Hills for the two villains, following the signal of RiCO's superdrone.
"You wouldn't believe how many false accusations got thrown my way during my time in school, especially when I was learning combat myself," Sortiliena chuckled. "Sometimes, you just gotta roll with the punches, especially when you know the accusations have no real leg to stand on."
"Even still, we know how much power rumors can really have when you have a bunch of people who are willing to believe the lies over the truth," Nick quipped, remembering what had happened with Milan Stilton not too long ago.
"By the way, Nick," Alex stated, figuring she had to nip this in the bud now. "Is there something you didn't want to tell me?"
"...guess I can't get anything past my own fiancée, huh?" Nick chuckled. "Well... the truth is... I kinda... well... wanted to ask you out to dinner sometime soon?"
Alex looked Nick square in the eyes for a few seconds before she burst into giggles.
"H-Hey, what's so funny?" Nick sputtered.
"I just... I kinda wanted to ask you the same thing," Alex stated. "That's why I was trying to find you, but you kept ducking out on me..."
"That's because I was making some last-minute preparations, and I didn't want to give away what I was planning," Nick admitted. "I guess I've still got some work to do on my secret-keeping skills, huh?"
"Aww, you," Alex giggled as she leaned over to hug Nick.
While Nick and Alex had their moment, May suddenly jumped in front of Nick and Alex, summoned her anchor to her hands via her Emergency Gadget Transporter, and started spinning her anchor around in her hands to deflect a bunch of shuriken that had been thrown their way.
"Don't you know it's bad manners, not to mention just plain rude, to interrupt a lovey-dovey moment, Myrna?" May taunted as Myrna Beesbottom made her presence known.
"Well, sorry if I need to teach you young'uns a lesson in respect," Myrna cackled.
"Oh, don't even start with that crap," Sam shot back. "What part of 'we're way too old for nannies' hasn't sunk into your wrinkly noggin yet?!"
"Okay, now I'm mad," Myrna growled. "It looks like I need to apply disciplinary measures."
"Oh, bring it," Nick challenged.
That was when Myrna noticed Henya among the group. "And who, exactly, are you supposed to be?" Myrna wondered, only to be blasted back by a barrage of glowing cubes in response.
"I'm so tired of people asking me that, especially when your fellow LAMOS should already know that, thanks to what we did to Scam," Henya proclaimed.
"Ah, what does it matter?" Myrna laughed. "Another brat for me to discipline."
"Oh, you wanna throw down?" Sortiliena challenged. "Then by all freakin' means, let's throw down!"
"Don't say I never warned you," Myrna warned.
"You're one to talk saying that," Sortiliena remarked.
"I agree," Nick replied as he fired three psychic shots at Myrna Beesbottom herself. "It's time for you to 'dance', ya freakin' ugly witch!"
"Allow us to help!" Sam and Alex exclaimed with Laser Lipsticks.
They fired some shots at Myrna as well, and she was getting worn out briefly.
"That oughta wear you out a bit," Alex remarked.
"I don't know what your game is, but getting us kicked out of Mali-U's a dick move... even for you when WE DID NOTHING!" Haruka chastised.
"On the contrary, you've done PLENTY WRONG!" Myrna shouted at them. "This being one of them."
"And let you take control of Malibu this way?! People would really scoff and laugh at your reasoning!" Clover proclaimed.
"And don't even think about using that 'respect your elders' crap on us, too!" Mat added.
"If you're just going to use baseless accusations to get us axed from W.O.O.H.P. and out of Mali-U, you're not going to get very far!" Blaine exclaimed.
"And don't think for two seconds that's a new thing for us, too," Nick added, referencing Milan Stilton.
"Oh, let's just say that's only a tidbit of my plan," Myrna sneered. "And that's all you're getting from me."
"No chance we'll let that happen," Sam added. "Nick and Mat were already proven innocent a long time ago..."
"And we're gonna do whatever it takes that those baseless accusations do not come to light again!" Melissa exclaimed.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that..." Myrna sneered as she barreled forward, attempting to bowl the spies over, only for Sortiliena to jump in and kick Myrna aside.
"You still haven't learned, have you?" Sortiliena chuckled.
"Oh, real funny, miss fight stick," Myrna taunted. "We'll see how much you're laughing after this!"
Myrna planted a few rods on the ground just as both Sam and Mat got closer, the rods erupting into an electrical field that prevented them from getting closer.
Henya wasn't impressed, though, raising her Wondercube and sucking the electricity into it, leaving Myrna vulnerable.
"You were saying?" Sam chuckled as both her and Mat jump-kicked Myrna backwards.
Clover delivered a proverbial coup de grace for the time being by using her Laser Lipstick to slice off the blades from more of Myrna Beesbottom's shuriken.
"That's for the false nanny crap, too!" Clover exclaimed.
"Damn!" Myrna swore. "Call this a draw then, but don't think you're staying in college for much longer..."
Before long, she threw a smoke bomb and used a jet pack to get out of the fray and leave the spies where they were.
Henya managed to save Nick the trouble by using her Wondercube to swallow the smoke and clear it away.
"Thanks for the help, Henya," Nick remarked.
"But where'd Myrna get to?" Bridget wondered.
Sam got a notice on her X-Powder, and it was a notice that did not come to her liking.
"What's up, Sammy?" Alex asked.
"The Dean of Mali-U's gotten word and wants to see us..." Sam sighed.
"This better not be a slam, bang, gavel," Mat remarked. "Because we're just as confused about this as they are..."
"I guess all we can do is plead our case," May stated.
"Let's just get back there as quickly as we can," Alex quipped as the spies all flew off to return to Mali-U.
3:35 P.M. – Malibu University
Dean Franklin's Office
"You... wanted to see me, Dean Franklin?" Sam asked as she peeked into the faculty room where Dean Franklin was waiting for her. To her surprise, though, Franklin didn't seem like he was giving her a judgmental look or anything like that in such a case.
She wanted to believe that was a good sign.
"Come on in, Sam," Franklin answered as Sam sat down in the nearby chair. "I just wanted to ask you about these reports I've been getting."
Sam braced herself for trouble.
"Now, if I remember correctly, you are one of our brightest students, with perfect attendance, wonderful grades, and a clean record," Franklin stated. "And then, this morning, I get some kind of report detailing a bunch of troublesome deeds that some of my staff claims you have been up to lately."
"Whatever it was, Dean Franklin, I can assure you that my friends and I would never do anything like that," Sam immediately proclaimed.
"Which brings me to why I called you here and not another member of my staff," Franklin responded. "My faculty normally runs this kind of thing through multiple background checks to make sure it's legit, but this was just randomly dropped on my desk without any warning."
As Franklin reviewed the document in question, he suddenly stopped when he noticed one of the signatures on the paper.
"Hmm... that's odd," Franklin quipped.
"What is it?" Sam asked.
"One of these names is someone I'm pretty sure we sacked a while ago," Franklin stated. "A Professor... 'Fremont', I think?"
In her mind, Sam gasped in shock, since that meant, without a shadow of a doubt, that Fremont was responsible for these bogus expulsion decrees.
"Um... who is he, Dean?" Sam asked.
"He was a professor we'd hired a couple years ago, only for us to fire him when it came out that his 'classes' were really just a front for him to steal military technology," Franklin admitted. "And if his signature is on this expulsion request, then I think that pretty much confirms that this is bogus."
Franklin stuffed the paper away before turning back to Sam. "You're free to go, Samantha," Franklin proclaimed. "I'll get this rescinded as soon as possible."
"Thank you so much, Dean," Sam answered before booking it out of the Dean's office and right back to their penthouse, where the rest of the spies were waiting for her.
"Well, Sammy, what's the verdict?" Alex wondered.
"Fremont is behind this," Sam stated. "Dean Franklin saw his signature on that expulsion order and pretty much confirmed that the order was just a load of bunk."
"I should have figured," Nick quipped. "Why are our rogues' gallery trying to hit us where it hurts lately?"
"Maybe they're just getting pettier and pettier with each defeat we hand them," Haruka replied. "I wouldn't put it past them."
"Well, then, if that's all the proof we need that these 'you're getting expelled' charges are total bunk, then let's all get back out there and find those two punks so we can deliver a good ol'-fashioned beatdown!" May exclaimed.
"Couldn't have said it better myself, May," Nick chuckled as the spies all prepared themselves and headed out.
But no sooner had they left the Mali-U campus than they were attacked by a squadron of mooks do doubt belonging to Myrna.
"Oh, look at that, you found us," Clover taunted. "Saves us the trouble of having to hunt you down ourselves."
Sure enough, Myrna appeared from the shadows alongside a guy dressed like was part of the Mali-U faculty.
"And I'm willing to guess that you're 'Professor' Fremont?" Sam proclaimed.
"Ah, it seems that my reputation precedes me," Fremont chuckled. "But I'd watch your tongue if I were you, my dear. After all, your college careers may be over sooner than you think."
"I'd like to think otherwise," Sam retorted. "I just talked with Dean Franklin, and the instant he saw your signature on those expulsion orders, he knew it wasn't legitimate!"
"I must admit, Dean Franklin was too smart for me," Fremont growled. "Any other dean wouldn't have questioned a thing and given you all the boot right on the spot. I guess the old adage is true. If you want something done right, you do it yourself."
"Oh, we'll see about that," Nick retorted, his psychic aura bursting to life around him. And he was definitely amused to see Fremont backing up a few steps in response.
"Don't be distracted by the glowing brat," Myrna stated. "Let's just crush 'em."
"You, crush us?! Don't make me laugh!" Sortiliena countered, shifting into a fighting stance. "How many times have we done this little runaround of ours already, and how many times has it failed for you?!"
"Oh, we've got something interesting in store for you this time around," Myrna laughed.
"So I wouldn't go counting your chickens yet, spies," Fremont chuckled. "You would have all made fantastic additions to my old class, given that you're actual spies."
"Well, sorry if we're not interested, you buttered nutball," May challenged, brandishing her anchor towards Fremont. "So how about we just cut out the middleman and get to the part where we stomp you into the ground for trying to ruin our futures?!"
"Now you're talking my lingo, May," Nick laughed. "All right, everyone, let's do this!"
"Don't need to say it twice," Clover remarked.
"You should be easy because you fell for my trap hook, line, and sinker the first time," Fremont sneered.
"Not going to deny it, but once we learned who you really were, you were easy to stop," Sam remarked.
"And if you don't do what we say, your futures are done," Myrna added.
"Like we're going to listen to THAT!" Nick exclaimed.
"I'm sure your Dean is going to be expelling you after my sinister efforts," Myrna sneered.
"You better have a ton of hope there," Sam quipped. "Because our Dean realized something foul is going on..."
Myrna's grin then turned to a sour frown.
"And what you're doing is totally douche-y, too!" May shouted and hurled her anchor at the two villains.
Fremont then dove to get Myrna out of harm's way.
"If that's all you can do, then this should be easy for us," Fremont sneered.
"Oh, we're just getting warmed up," May quipped. "Since you're new around here, Fremont, I might as well introduce you to my signature weapon!"
"Oh, please, you wouldn't dare hit a defenseless professor with a giant anchor, would you?" Fremont chuckled, only to be instantly floored when May jumped towards him and swung her anchor to knock him flat on his keester.
"You've got body armor on under that, so don't give me that washed-up crock," May quipped.
"Eh, it was worth a shot," Fremont admitted.
Myrna attempted to throw more shuriken towards the spies, but Nick reached out to catch them in his psychic hold before throwing them all back.
"Yeah, see how you like it!" Nick taunted.
"Nothing left for you to do now!" Haruka exclaimed.
"Ha... no worries," Myrna sneered. "I'll just be going back to your Dean about this fighting you just started."
"WE STARTED?!" Nick chastised.
"Yeah, you," Fremont sneered as well, knowing Myrna's trick up her sleeve.
"And what, pray tell, is that?!" Blaine exclaimed, demanding an explanation.
"Oh, like we're going to tell you..." Myrna cackled. "All we can say is... enjoy your last minutes of college life..."
They then threw a smoke bomb and got away. Henya and Nick teamed up to get the smoke away.
"What are they planning?" Bridget wondered.
Something was going through Mat's mind about Myrna mentioning the "fighting" started.
"I think Myrna gave us a dead giveaway when she said 'fighting,' guys," Mat told the group.
"You're saying she... RECORDED US FIGHTING HER AND FREMONT?!" Melissa chastised.
"That'd be the only thing that I can think of," Mat replied.
"That IS pretty sleazy..." Britney groaned.
"And it won't go over well with Dean Franklin," Nick remarked.
"Exactly," Bridget replied. "Out of context, that looks bad..."
"We better hope like hell that they hear us out instead of throwing the book at us then," Mat commented.
"Wait, Sammy, didn't you say that Dean Franklin pretty much immediately decided to drop the expulsion charges against us after he realized that Fremont was the one behind this?" May noted. "If he sees Fremont in that video, then that should mean he'll realize that it was faked, too."
"Regardless, we'd better find those two before they can get that video out," Mat quipped. "Any idea where they're headed, RiCO?"
"It looks like they're both headed towards Mali-U," RiCO answered from Mat's X-Powder.
"Crapbaskets, I don't know if we can get there in time to stop them from handing over that bogus video!" Haruka gasped.
"I can provide some express transport," Henya chuckled, raising her Wondercube to open a hyperdimensional pocket that would take them back to Mali-U quickly. "Let's move!"
All of the spies jumped into the pocket post-haste, coming out of the pocket back at Mali-U, thankfully in a secluded area where nobody could see them appearing.
"Any sign of them, Nick?" Sam asked as Nick used his psychic radar to scan the immediate area for any sign of their wayward foes.
"Yeah, I'm picking them up heading inside the facility, and it looks like they're heading towards the Dean's office," Nick stated. "Which means we need to move with all of the speed."
Nothing more needed to be said as the spies headed back into the Mali-U campus to sniff out where the villains were going.
Eventually, Nick caught sight of Myrna turning the corner of West Coast Hall towards the Dean's office.
"Hands where we can see them, demon nanny!" Nick shouted, raising his hand to catch Myrna in his psychic hold and stop her in her tracks.
"I should have figured you'd follow me," Myrna taunted. "You're too stubborn for your own good. But once I give this video to the Dean, you're all finished."
"News flash, lady," Sortiliena countered. "The Dean here already knows that Fremont is a total fraud, so the instant he sees him in that footage, he'll know that you're just trying to frame us!"
"Who is the faculty going to believe, a former professor, or a bunch of unruly brats who seem to think that fighting is the only answer to all of life's problems?" Fremont chuckled.
"First off, you were already sacked when Mali-U figured out what you were doing with your 'classes'," Mat shot back.
"Second, you two always try to attack us first, so don't even give us that crock!" Alex exclaimed.
"And third, you really want to keep doing this little runaround and see where it goes for you?!" Nick challenged.
"All I have to do is get into the Dean's office and it's over for you little punks," Fremont chuckled, having apparently ignored everything the spies had said. "So, I'd say it was nice knowing you... but it wasn't."
With that said, Fremont shoulder-tackled the door to the Dean's office to bust it open.
"Girls, keep Myrna busy!" Nick shouted. "I'll get this jerk-face!"
"I've got your back, Nick!" Sortiliena proclaimed as the two of them charged into the Dean's office behind Fremont.
Dean Franklin looked up in surprise when he saw Fremont running straight towards him.
"W-Wait, what do you think you're doing here, Fremont?!" Franklin gasped.
"Oh, just displaying irrefutable evidence!" Fremont laughed, only for Sortiliena to grab him by the shirt collar and yank him backwards so that Nick could leg sweep him off of his feet.
"What part of my little spiel didn't register in your head, buddy?" Nick taunted.
"And what's the Dean going to think of you just knocking me off my feet like that right in front of him?" Fremont laughed.
"Um, Fremont, you tried to attack me first," Franklin retorted.
"See? Your nonsense doesn't have a single leg to stand on," Sortiliena quipped. "Now excuse us, Dean, while we escort this troublemaker out of your office."
Sortiliena didn't wait for Fremont to start complaining before grabbing him by the collar again and yanking him right out of the office.
"...dare I ask what that guy was doing here?" Franklin wondered.
"I often wonder that myself," Nick chuckled. "Sam told us what you'd told her about those false expulsion orders, and, well, when I saw Fremont headed your way, I figured we had to stop him before he tried anything else."
"Just make sure, whatever's happening, that you kick him out of this campus," Franklin replied. "I already told him he's no longer welcome here."
"Will do, Dean," Nick quipped as he exited the office to find the rest of the spies weren't there.
"They must be chasing Myrna down," Sortiliena stated. "Now, as for you..."
Suddenly, a laser blast flew through the air towards them. Both Nick and Sortiliena easily dodged it, but it accomplished its intent of allowing Fremont to break out of Sortiliena's grip and rejoin Myrna at the other end of the hall.
"Well, well, we meet again," Myrna taunted.
"Spare us the cliché bullcrap, Myrna," Sortiliena retorted. "We already have the Dean on our side because mister fake teacher here couldn't resist trying to attack someone who's already given you the boot."
"Oh, that hurts my feelings, spies," Fremont laughed. "You really do need to be punished."
"But for once, we'll let you off the hook," Myrna chuckled. "Just this time, though. After all, I did mention that things are going to be very interesting soon, so I'd rather you all be around for when that comes to pass."
And with that, Myrna and Fremont made their retreat.
"Okay, what exactly is miss demon nanny yapping about this time?" Bridget wondered.
"I'm sure we'll get her to sing eventually," Sam quipped. "Right now, let's just keep going after them, and we'll wring the answers out of them."
The spies all set off through the Mali-U campus to find Myrna and Fremont before they could indulge in their schemes further.

Next time...
Melissa: Any sign of those two yet?"
Nick: I'm doing my best to search for them, but with so many minds to pick through, it's not as easy as I'd hoped.
Bridget: It kinda stinks that I can't really use Sonic Mode effectively here on campus. If only we could get them off campus, then I could really cut loose.
Henya: Hold on a minute, I think I hear something.
Sam: Wait just a deep-fried second, is that... is that Mandy I hear?
Alex: Ooh, she does not sound happy right now.
Nick: And I'm willing to bet that Myrna's somehow involved. Let's get moving, shall we?
Mandy: You wanna let go of me this instant?! I already told you, I don't need a nanny!
Myrna: Your other friends said that, too. And they're just as unruly.
Mandy: You know, they're gonna kick your concave face in once they find you.
Fremont: Oh, they wouldn't have the guts.
Nick: What was that you were saying about us? Don't be putting words in our mouths.
Mandy: Wow, I think this is the first time I've gotten to do the episode preview. So, readers, lots of crazy things are happening soon, so don't miss the next act of Totally Spies: Expulsion Party, "Sudden, But Inevitable"!
May: I do not detect a lot of subtlety in that title.
Mandy: Hey, what's that they're building back there? ...or should I not say anything about it?
Clover: Not spoiling it would be wise, because I think it's for episode one hundred.
