It has been 20 years since Jack and Bobby's friend died. Or did he? When they spot someone that suspiciously looks like their friend walking down the street, the team engages in a covert operation to find out who this mystery person is. Sue decided to stay in DC, and Jack came pretty close to admitting his true feelings. Will he finally work up the courage to tell her how he feels? Can they navigate a relationship and manage to keep their unit intact?

During a raid, the team finds an infant girl alone in the house, and Jack decides he wants to take her into his custody to help with the case. Meanwhile, Sue is trying to figure out if Jack really does have feelings for her but doesn't know how to talk to him about it. Will little Ella finally bring them together? Will they survive the wrath of the villain they're chasing?

Christmastime is finally here, and Sue wonders about last years' present. When they find out its' story, it leads them (and Sue particularly) to want to finish the story with a happy ending, not a sad one like it currently held. But with time passed and a mysterious villain on the loose, can they do it in time for Christmas?

A series of Jack & Sue one shots (with the occasional Bobby & Tara thrown in for good measure), inspired by the line in The Prodigal Father, that Mac says to Sue; "Can I give you a piece of advice? Never con a conman." Each chapter will be the title of a STFBEye episode & I will write what I like to call a 'missing scene' from that ep. Any prompts are warmly welcomed.
