Hinata's P.O.V
It's a quiet night in Kohona. The air blew a nice breeze making couples snuggle up to each other. Everyone was sleep or falling asleep except one. You see Pein had just attacked the village and Naruto Uzumaki finished him single-handed. Life in Kohona was peacefully unaware of the heinous crime to be done. I have lost it all, the pity in my father's eyes still haunt me. The elders whispering about the weak daughter he raises. I could hear them all, it doesn't hurt no more. I rest my head on my knees, thinking of my life. Unfortunately, Kohona's hero pops up in my head.
You see since I can remember he always teased and called me names making me feel useless. The teasing slowly turned into physical bullying. He would hit me and yank my hair. When I train by myself, he always seems to be around. Those icy blue eyes glaring at me, while those lips spew hate. In front of friends or public he acted like a friend. I learn to just let him keep his façade, probably because people will have evidence, he really was a monster. The sad reasoning for my continue silence is repulsive. I learn to take pain and see it as love. All I've known is hate, especially after mom's death. My father now ignores me, my cousins threaten to do the same. Naruto is the only one who keeps consistent. I shrug.
I stood on the fourth Hokage's head and smiled. It was nice being here alone for once. No Naruto, no elders and no pain. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. 'Time to go' I thought. I walked back a foot or two and looked over my home village one last time. 'Hn sad how I will miss this place' I thought. It's stupid to miss a place that holds so many painful memories. I back up, before running for the ledge with open arms. When on the edge of the head I pushed off and twist in the air. 'First graceful thing in my whole life' I mused. My body falls through the air as if a brick in water. The wind blew my hair in a wave of lavender. 'I'm coming mama' I thought. Closing my eyes to wait for the impact of the ground. It never came instead arms wrapped around my waist. They were strong and protectively keeping me against another body. We were still falling I know because of the raging wind in my ear.
I open my eyes to see my savior and gasped in shock, " Naruto?" I gasp out. He looks down, blue eyes cold and unforgiving. His lip pulls back into a snarl. I frown, not understanding his motives. I desperately squirm against the solid body. He growls, lowly seeming upset for the attempted separation.
"Get off!" I cry out, shaking harder as we near the ground. I knew he will just land on his feet. Naruto's eyes flash with even more anger, starting to lean to annoyance. I strike out with my hand, infusing it with chakra. His arm slacks off mine, Naruto loudly curses as his arms went limp. I give a sigh of relief, closing my eyes. Anger surges when I hear a poof, landing on a fleshy pile. I look down at the toad in dismay. Naruto grabs my face, eyes ablaze, frowning at me.
"You will fix my arm," Naruto says, lowly and firmly. I stare at him, tempting to run away, before I look off to the side, forcing his hand to turn. His grip tightens.
"You will fucking fix it, or I will pick up from where we left off 3 years ago," Naruto snarls, causing fear to rip through me. I quick jab his arm, and he grins as he flexes it.
"Now, why would my favorite play thing try to leave me?"
