Chapter 1
A lost Soul in Westeros
"My Lord! the wind is picking up! We can't go on further!"
Ned Stark, Lord of Winterfell ignored Jory's words and urged his men to go on forwards in Wolfswood.
His boy is dying and his only hope is to find the shaman living in it.
A year after the rebellion and fall of the Targaryens, rumours of a shaman spread around Winterfell and nearby lands. The shaman offered healing and trinkets for simple bargains, food, tools and anything equivalent.
Even though Jory had a trinket himself, in exchange for 5 gold dragons, a hefty price, he got a trinket for safety.
He never once took it off since he almost died to a wildling, only luck saved him that day which he attributed to the small necklace around his neck.
A wooden wolf's head.
"We have to go on, Jory." Ned said, cradling little Jon.
"The boy wouldn't survive in this storm." Jory replied with a grim tone.
Since they had left Winterfell, a snowstorm had fallen upon them. They still went onwards for the bastard child of Lord Stark.
Many of his men are disgruntled of the prospect of going to such lengths for a bastard but they respected Lord Stark. Honor demands he must save the child even if it's illegitimate.
Unknown to them, Ned Stark is going such lengths for his nephew.
Jon Snow is the only last memory Lyanna Stark had left for him. He made a promise to take care of the child.
Bastard or Nephew, this is his son.
"My Lord!" a guardsman of Starks retinues.
Both men looked at the guardsman, who pointed at the most peculiar sight they had ever seen.
"Magic." Jory whispered in awe as blue flames lit up the forest of Wolfswood, creating a clear path.
A path for them to follow.
Ned looked at the little bundle in his arms.
Poor little Jon had caught a very nasty fever. The Maester of Winterfell can't cure the boy, his fever isn't dying even with the medicine and expertise of the old man.
The boy is now blue in the storm's cold winds, he needs help.
"Follow the flames."
He never waited for his men to reply and immediately urged his horse to go. His horse ran through the small flames, following a path towards the unknown.
Right behind him, Jory and his guardsmen followed behind. They are loyal to house Stark, even at the face of magic, they would stand strong and follow their lord.
Soon they arrived at a dilapidated shack.
The blue flames forming a path for them snuffed out immediately as they arrived, their purpose is done.
"You're far from home, Lord Stark."
Ned was surprised to see a young man, about 20 winters, to greet them.
"Are you the shaman of Wolfswood?" He asked.
"Is that what they call me nowadays?" The young man wondered before shaking his head. " Nonetheless, Yes, I am the Shaman of Wolfswood."
Ned sighed in relief, Jon will be saved.
"Please, I beg you. Save my son!" He doesn't care if his begging in front of his men. The life of his son is more important.
The young man looked at him with scrutiny before answering.
"Come in. Let's discuss this without the cold winds."
"Thank you."
With his men, Ned Stark entered the Shaman's home.
It was small and cozy.
His men entered the shack in a tight squeeze as the shack had only one room.
They immediately went towards the burning fire in the center for warmth.
"So, you want me to save your son?" The Shaman asked Ned.
" Yes." He simply replied.
With the flames warm light, Ned could see the Shaman more clearly.
The young man is the strangest character he has ever seen in his life.
He wore an expensive looking uniform, something only found in highborn nobles of the south, adding mystery to his identity. Over his shoulders, he wore a white ragged coat like a cape.
What's worrying is that the young man had the features of Baratheon.
A black hair and blue eyes. He isn't tall but he's still young. His figure didn't looked like the Baratheon's but he can see how callous and hardened with experience of combat his hands were.
This man is dangerous.
"What can you exchange for his life?" He suddenly asked, surprising Ned.
" Gold is no problem. I'll pay any amount as long as you save my boy's life." Ned offered.
The young man chuckled.
"The whole world's Gold isn't equivalent to one life."
" Are trying to rob our Lor-Gah!" Jory stood up, angered at the Shaman's words but with one look, his legs buckled under him before falling face first to the wooden floor.
Soon his men followed Jory's example but with no success. They sat frozen in their seats, gritting their teeths in exertion to move, even an inch forward but to. no avail.
Jory cursed loudly on the floor.
Ned only watched in surprise, frozen at the simple display of magic.
Remember this Lord Stark, never enter a someone's home if he/she knows magic unprepared.
"You're in my domain and here, I am God."
With those words, all of his froze and stopped struggling. They are at the Shaman's mercy.
They can't endanger their lord's life.
For the rest of their life, they would value that one lesson.
"You had loyal men, my Lord." The shaman snorted.
" Yes, I do." Ned answered.
" What do you want? What price do I have to pay for my boy's life?" Gathering all of his courage, he asked the Shaman who had his men's life under his mercy.
"A condition." He said. " One simple condition and I'll save your boy's life."
" What is it?" Ned asked, dreading what horrible condition he has to pay.
" Tell me the truth, is he your Son or not? Don't try to lie. If you do, you and your men will die here."
"And that would forfeit the boy's life."
It was the worst condition he could offer to Ned. Jon's origin is hidden and must not be revealed at all cost.
If it was revealed, the boy's life would be endangered.
Ned can only grit his teeth as his mind raced on what to do. He had a promise to Lyanna but his men and his son is at the mercy of this Shaman.
"What's the matter, Lord Stark? I thought you trusted your men?" The young man said, taunting the Lord.
" It's not them I don't trust but you! What will you do to such information!?" Ned demanded. His anger is rising but he can't do nothing, fueling his anger even more.
There is a reason why he is called the North's Silent Wolf.
"Nothing, I would do nothing."
The Lord of Winterfell was stunned.
Nothing. The secret he would keep till his deathbed amounted to nothing to this strange young man.
Nothing.
"I'm just curious, that's all. I'm just wondering why your son smells like dragon while you smelled like a wolf. You didn't seduce a dragon didn't you? "
Ned was stunned. He ignored his comment of seducing a dragon for the fact that Jon smelled like a dragon, whatever that means.
Meanwhile, his men looked at their Lord, surprise and apprehension in their faces.
"My Lord... is that Lady Lyanna's son?" Jory asked.
He was a just boy when the rebellion happened but he remembered the details.
Lyanna Stark was taken hostage by the Targaryens. The woman that sparked the rebellion.
Ned cannot answer his men.
" No wonder!" One of the guardsman exclaimed. " My Lord, our loyalty is to house Stark, and that boy is a Stark."
One by one, his men pledge their loyalty to him and the boy in his arms. His secret is safe with these men.
"My thanks to all of you."
"So the boy is your sister's son, making him your nephew." the shaman said.
" Aye."
" The boy. "
With great care, Ned gave the sick boy to the shaman.
" No wonder you can't cure him, the boy's poisoned."
" Poisoned!" Ned exclaimed in surprise.
His men is released from the Shaman's magic and was also surprised.
Someone dared to poisoned one of the Starks.
"But don't be afraid, I had a quick fix to this."
Putting his hand on the baby's chest, a surged of blue light went from his arm towards the baby. They all watched in fascination as the baby glowed in golden colors before dying out.
The cries if a strong and healthy boy rang.
"What did you do?" Taking the child, Ned asked in wonder.
"I merely strengthen the boys condition."
" Condition? What condition? " Ned asked.
" The boy is a dragon, Stark. Magic courses in his body and soul. As he grows older, his connection to that magic will grew stronger and stronger."
" Until the day you can't no longer hide it. The boy will be revealed as a Targaryen and you don't want that don't you?"
The Shaman said, proving Ned's worst fears.
Robert will kill the boy once he founds out. Their brotherhood be damn.
" Is there a way to suppress or hide it? Anything at all?" He asked.
The Shaman merely shook his head.
"Lord Stark, have you ever tried to wrestle a dragon to submission?" He answered. " Because that's what your asking for me, its impossible albeit I did wrestle some dragons in my days." he said with a chuckle.
Ned ignored that tidbit of information.
" What do I do then? "
" Control. "
" What? " Ned blinked at the simple answer.
" Your son has to learn how to control his magic to hide his Targaryen heritage." He elaborated.
" But no one can teach the boy magic! " Ned exclaimed.
Then he had an idea, a foolish idea.
" Except for you." He finished, looking straight to the shaman.
"Fuck no! I already taught a bunch of brats before and I'm not repeating the experience, thank you very much! " The shaman said, crossing his arms.
" I can pay you."
"I don't need gold. "
" Shelter. "
" I had this shack."
" I can offer you better food." His losing things to offer to the young man already.
" No."
Then his stomach grumbled like a wild beast.
Ned smiled.
"Your stomach says otherwise." He said, his men chuckling with him.
The Shaman sneered at them before he finally relented.
"Fine, I'm gonna teach your little dragon but I want food, shelter and a forge for myself."
He demanded.
" What's the forge for?" Ned asked.
"Your son is a dragon, dragon fire is good for forging weapons. He would need it in the future."
Ned nodded at the explanation. He doesn't understand how dragonfire would help in forging or how Jon could produce it but his no expert to magic.
On that day, House Stark had taken in a new ally.
The Lost soul of Lore

Chapter End
An idea for a sequel for my AQW Isekai story. The entire story is already drafted and constructed but I still needed to write it but goddamn it was very long.
Longer than MSG Blood Price.
The story had 3 different endings.
The Death Ending.
UltraSpeaker Ending
Hero Ending
This oneshot is based on the hero ending.
For those waiting for updates, I'm swamped on working on 4 rocket models.
(I'm an Aerospace engineer student and it's fucking hard.)
Might update on Sundays but who knows.
So just chill and wait. I recommend playing King God Castle, pretty good game. Might make a story for it due to its interesting roster of characters and settings.
