I saw some images on X (formerly Twitter) by Twitter user RUMOXCIDE of the Smiling Critters replacing the Chipmucks and the Chipettes from the Chipmuck Adventure movie. And it gave me this fun idea of doing the Boys and Girls of Rock n Roll. Now give RUMOXCIDE the credit since she was the one who came up with the idea. Hope you all enjoy it.
In the city of Athens in the country of Greece. The boys KickinChicken, Bubba Bubbaphent, DogDay, and CatNap are walking through a marketplace. Enjoy the sights, especially Kickin as he takes in the city's culture.
"Ah, I love Athens. The nightlife, the girls, the excitement." Said Kickin happily.
"Kickin, you never been to Athens." Bubba stating out the facts.
"Well, it looks like a city I would love to visit." Kickin changed the subject.
CatNap let out a yawn. He couldn't able to get any sleep. In fact, he hasn't been able to sleep due to the fact they constantly keep moving from one part of the world to another since they been racing the girls in hot-air balloons. Yawning again he sees a nice shade. Hoping they'll be here for awhile, while looking for one of the dolls. Walking on all fours, he circled around, patted his feet before lying down. Hoping to get the rest he needed before he could get dragged away.
"I wonder how the girls been doing. Hope they didn't run into any danger like we have." Said DogDay a bit worried about their friends.
"I'm sure they're fine. But I certainly hope they didn't run into those shady characters from the last city we visited." Bubba hoping that the girls didn't run into trouble.
Kickin casually walked up to a booth letting out a innocent hum. Seeing that no one is looking, he reached out his wing, grabbing a random apple. But he gasped as he couldn't pull it from the stand. Putting his foot against the stand he lets out struggle grunts.
"Let go!" Kickin shouted.
"You let go! I saw it first!" Yelled back by a familiar feminine voice.
Kickin looked at the figure with a surprised expression "Hoppy?" Kickin asked in surprise.
"Kickin…" Hoppy Hopscotch called his name before trying to pull the apple away from him "What are you doing here?!" Hoppy asked through the grunts.
"We're on our way to Istanbal." Kickin answered pulling the apple away from Hoppy's paws "What are you… doing here?"
"We're on our way to Cairo." Hoppy replied with CraftyCorn standing right behind Hoppy.
"Have you guys had any, uh trouble on the way?" Bubba asked curiously, thinking that something is clearly wrong about this race.
"Well, since you mention it. There was this…" Bobby was about to say something before Hoppy ran up covering her mouth with her paw.
"We've had nothing but smooth sailing." Hoppy lied, still trying to get the apple away from Kickin's wing "And you?"
"Well, actually I get the feeling…" It was then Kickin's turn to cover Bubba's mouth.
"It's been a piece of cake." Kickin lied as well "The only problem we have is crowed control!"
Kickin then managed to pull the apple out from Hoppy's paws as she fell to the floor as CraftCorn tried to help her up. Kickin then continued while playing with the apple "We're the hottest act in Rock n Roll." Kickin then bites into the apple "But you don't have that problem, do you?"
"No, I don't think we do." Bobby shook her head.
"Sure, we do." Hoppy dusted herself off as CraftyCorn tried to shush Hoppy.
Kickin then laughs "No you don't."
Hoppy stomped towards the chicken with an irritated expression while CraftyCorn tried to pull her away from her getting close to KickinChicken "Alright Mr. Popularity! How much you'll want to bet we can out Rock n Roll you?!" Hoppy demanded with a fire of determination in her eyes.
Kickin narrowed his eyes as he tossed the apple away "Oh no." DogDay looked worried.
"We got to keep these two apart." Babba told Bobby as both he and Bobby gets dragged away by both Kickin and Hoppy.
DogDay turned where CatNap is sleeping before grabbing his tail "C'mon CatNap!" Shout DogDay as CatNap let's out a shriek as DogDay pulled him away from his sleeping spot. As DogDay ran after Kickin and Bubba.
PickyPiggy was at a food stand going to eat before CraftyCorn grabbed her "Let's go Picky!" Shouted CraftyCorn following Hoppy and Bobby.
"Wait! What about my couscous?" Picky called out but Crafty just kept going to catch up with the others.
The Critters ran through the city as they raced towards the ruins of Greece ancient civilization. The boys went through the marketplace while the girls ran through the alleys and passed through some priests. Unaware that they're being followed by two strangers. Lurking from a building.
The Critters ran up the steps as they headed to the Acropolis. Once they got there, they all leaped as both Kickin and Hoppy stared each other in the eyes smirking. As the music plays.
(Hoppy and Kickin) Sun goes down
I'm just getting up
I'm heading for the city lights (Looking over the city with lights)
(Hoppy and Kickin hopping on their feet closed to each other with the others watching)
Radio blastin' all the way to the club
Gonna rock this town tonight
(Hoppy, Bobby, Picky, and Crafty) You're living in a man's world
They tell us
But we ain't gonna buy it
The things they're trying to sell us now
(While the boys narrowed their brows and fists rested on their waist)
(They jumped on to the top dancing) 'Cause we're the girls of rock and roll-ah
(Hoppy) Woooooooo!
(Kickin narrowed his eyes)
(Bobby and Crafty spins around as glitter sparkles around them) Yeah, we're the girls of rock and roll-ah
(Hoppy dancing) Roooock and roll, roll, roll, roll-ah
(Bobby, Crafty, and Picky joined her as they dance on a stone plate holding by many statues)
(Kickin ran then jumped) Oh, yeah!
(Kickin takes the harp) The curtain's up and I'm ready to go
My guitar is in my hand!
(Hoppy let's out a yawn)
(Kickin playing the harp creating sparkles with Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap) There's nothing more that I'd rather do
Then play in a rock and roll band, yeah
(Kickin ran upwards with Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap still singing) All we have is what we will be givin'
Headed for the top
(Kickin) Don't you know?!
(Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap ran towards Kickin) We'll never stop believin' now
(The girls expression changed from confidant to surprised)
(Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap) 'Cause we're the boys of rock and roll-ah
(Kickin standing onto a statue of a man holding a planet on his back) You better believe it!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
(Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap Dancing) We're the boys of rock and roll-ah
(Kickin joins them) Roooock and rooooll, roll
(The boys spins around creating sparkles)
(The girls glared at them as their heads popped behind the headless statues)
(The girls stomping up the steps) We are the girls
We are the girls
We are the girls of rock and roll-ah
(The boys stomping up the steps) We are the boys
We are the boys
We are the boys of rock and roll-ah
(Once they joined each other, the boys grabbed the girls' paws/hooves as they dance in unison)
(Kickin did a front flip he did a split before Hoppy join as she dances creating more glitter)
(Coming behind the stautes the wolf and the lion stared at the Critters. While Hoppy and Kickin dances the two quietly climb up the steps, Kickin grabs Hoppy paw as he spins her. Causing Hoppy unintentionally kicked the wolf in the face, causing him and his partner to tumble down the steps)
(Kickin, Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap) 'Cause we're the boys of rock and roll-ah
(Hoppy) Ohhhhhhhhhh!
(The girls already in their hot-air balloon standing on all sides dancing) Yeah, we're the girls of rock and roll-ah
(Hoppy dancing) Better be believin' that we are!
(The boys quickly ran up and jumped into their own hot-air balloon) Yeah, we're the boys of rock and roll-ah
(Kickin leaning out) Rooooock and rooooll
(The girls still standing on the sides of the basket swing their arms) Yeah, we're the girls of rock and roll-ah
(Hoppy lending out holding onto the ropes while Bobby, Crafy, and Picky grab hold of her so she wouldn't fall off) Rock and rock and rooooll!
(The boys) Yeah, we're the boys of rock and roll-ah
(Kickin lending out as well holding onto the ropes with Bubba, DogDay, and CatNap grab hold of him) Gonna rock and roll and rock and roll-ah
(The girls) Yeah, we're the girls of rock and roll-ah
(Kickin) And rock and roll
And gonna rock and roooooooll!
The two air balloons then went separate ways as they headed to different parts of the world, continuing the race.
