Issei sat in front of Sirzechs Grayfia and Rossweisse and thought to himself
Issei: "What name would be a good fit as much as Hyoudou is my blood name I left the family for good reason and I didn't plan on going back anytime soon I don't trust them"
it then dawned on him the change he should make it was a name that he didn't mind and it sounded nice He opened his eyes and looked at them
issei: how does issei Lucifuge sound?
he had a small smile on his face and so did the others, Sirzechs walked up to him and rested his hand on top of issei's head
sirzechs: I now welcome you into the family Lucifuge
issei felt a wave of energy wash over him and once it was done Grayfia came to hug him with what surprised all of them she had a smile on her face he returned the hug.
Grayfia: (smiling) I have a new brother
she began to swing a bit in her hug and he hugged her tightly
issei: thank you for having me I won't bring pity to name and only glory
Rossweisse: are you happy with the name ise?
She was supportive of him but with recent conversations, she wanted to know if this wasn't something he was going to regret later
Issei: no it's the right choice, I have no regrets and plus it's made someone very happy
He gestured to Grayfia hugging him, he started to pry himself away from Grayfia's grasp but it was hopeless she tightened her grip on him
Sirzechs: don't try and run now you are in for it once you are in her grasp she not going to let go of you she hasn't had a new family member in a while so this is the best thing for her plus my wife never acts like this so it's nice to see her heart warm up a bit
as he said this, she claimed she would cut him down if he didn't ruin the moment, Rossweisse got up and decided to make tea for the devil king and the others after a few minutes yasaka and kouno came by because they felt the power in the area and came to check it out and joined them for tea
issei and Sirzechs stepped outside for some air and had a small talk on the balcony
issei: I never thought I would be part of another family like this if im being fairly honest
Sirzechs: it's natural but if you don't mind me asking why Lucifuge I have no issues with it just curious as to why you had a lot of options to pick from, I mean even serafall came and offered you a place before she left again
he stated while drinking his tea. Issei looked at him and gave him a small smile
issei: it wasn't an easy one, I thought about it, you and she have always treated me like I was part of the family and never made me feel outcasted but in the end my choice was simple if people heard I joined Gremory or bale then it might make them think I married someone in the house so I went with one of the more quiet families so it is on the low for a bit, my life is crazy now and I'm trying to make it work the best I can I don't need a lot of the underworld asking 50 million questions just yet
issei spoke calmly and it made a lot of sense to Sirzechs he is still just a kid and his life drastically changed in the blink of an eye so it was normal to feel this type of way
sirzechs: like I said I have no issue with it just curious is all, hey I have something I want you to look into for me
he stated in a semi-serious tone, issei knows that it's not always a good time in the underworld every other day there is a problem that needs to be fixed to balance out the power of everything and everyone
issei: lay it on me I'm sure I can handle it, plus gives me a chance to try something new
sirzechs: great, I've received some reports about a shady group moving all around the world and underworld they seem to be making stops at small ruins and once they leave the area have been reported to be increasing with magic power I want you to please look into for me and report back for me
he looked very concerned about the matter issei put a hand on his shoulder looked him in the eye with a serious look and spoke
issei: don't worry about it I'll check it out by the end of the week and let you know what I come across
Sirzechs took a sigh of relief and nodded
Sirzechs: thank you issei it means a great lot that you would do this for me
Issei: (smiling) What are brothers for
he smiled as well and they shared a laugh.
They went to bed that night having fully enjoyed the evening issei lay while Rossweisse lay close to his side and Issei went into a dream state again and found himself able to open the door without hassle
a bright light came behind him but it was too brought for him to turn back
???: hey you figured it out well done issei
Issei: who are you? what do you want?
he spoke with authority but the voice and the light stayed behind him and didn't move as he walked through the door he found himself in a room with two more doors in front of him both with windows leading through them they resembled the back doors of his house
issei: really? more doors what is the end goal here?
he looked at the door and as he looked through one he saw something he didn't think was possible he saw him and his first ex raynare living happy lives it seemed she didn't kill him and as he touched the door it turned black once he touched it he looked over to the other door switching between orange and red constantly he looked through it and saw himself with Irina and rias enjoying life
issei: what the hell is going on here why is raynare here with this one and then I'm with Irina and Rias in the next?
he looked around the void he was in and saw nothing but vast differences he closed his eyes took a deep breath, opened a door and walked through he woke up to Rossweisse sitting by his side curious about the fire lines on his face again she was super close to his face again she didn't notice his eyes opened and he slowly came in for a kiss, it surprised her with the kiss but she didn't pull away she then found herself wanting more when they pulled away a single line of saliva connected their mouths, they rested foreheads together and he held her close to him
Rossweisse: (whisper) wow...
was all she could say about her first kiss
issei: I couldn't help myself you were just there and I took the moment
they both chuckled a bit then got back into bed and just laid there enjoying the comfort
Rossweisse: so what does this make us?
He could feel her heart racing while she lay next to him he couldn't help but smile
Issei: well I would like you to be my girlfriend along with Irina
she lightly hummed then spoke
Rossweisse: what about yasaka ?
Issei: She is important to me yes, but we still testing the waters if you get what I mean it's going to be a bit of a problem if things aren't fully thought of so after sessions we talk about things like what we going to do after this but we can see later on, so what do you say wanna be my girlfriend?
she started blushing but he couldn't see it and smiled
Rossweisse: (blushing) I would like to be your girlfriend
he brought her closer to him
issei: (smiling) cool...
they stayed like that and fell asleep in each other's embrace
The next morning as they woke up they looked at each other and Rossweisse screamed and fell out of bed
Issei: (panicked) What's wrong are you okay?
he shouted as he looked over the edge of the bed to see her in her nightgown covering herself
Rossweisse: issei is that you?
he looked at her confused
issei: of course it's me same guy you went to bed with same guy that kissed you last night
she still looked confused then started to calm down
rossweisse: g.go and look in the mirror
he got out of bed and she saw the fire moving around his body and so she calmed down but this was still a massive surprise for her so she got and went to the bathroom with him and he was frozen looking at his reflection
issei: okay I see why you screamed, but what the hell Ddraig any ideas
in his reflection, his hair had started turning silver and his eyes red, the green gem grew on his hand and Ddraig spoke
Ddraig: partner nothing has changed everything is still normal but this is very interesting I wonder what did this did you have another dream?
Issei thought about it and nodded
issei: Yeah I did but I don't think that would have an effect on this
Rossweisse walked up behind him and came into his view
Rossweisse: perhaps this has some relation to becoming a Lucifuge?
they went silent for a moment then his phone rang, He left the bathroom and went to answer it and when he did Irina and the others all appeared on screen, they didn't say anything but the silence said it all
issei: Yeah I know I just woke up I have no idea what happened Rossweisse came into the picture
Rossweisse: tell them about yesterday you have to
he looked at her and then nodded
issei: so yesterday Sirzechs and Grayfia paid me a visit and asked for me to pick a family to join and I joined the Lucifuge family name
silence continued to speak for all of them then Irina spoke up
Irina: well as much as I'm happy I'm still taking some time to process all this
rossweisse: so am I last night I was fine but now I look like this
koneko: well I like the red in your eyes they really make you pop abit more
she was trying to break the ice but it wasn't helping much it was awkward for all of them
akeno: yea it actually does look good but like Irina said it is a lot to process
she was taking screenshots without them noticing he was always looking better each day her heart was racing she wasn't going to miss this chance
issei: well as much as it's nice to talk to you all in the morning I need to talk to yasaka before I have guards attacking me because they don't recognize me I already scared Rossweisse out of the bed
she started blushing and nodded.
Irina: okay we will see you tonight and maybe you can explain when you get here
Issei: all right see you then
They nodded and put down,
issei: I can see this is going to be a weird thing to explain to my fan base
he looked at Rossweisse but she didn't say anything but was pouting
Issei: and why are you upset?
she only returned a mumble and crossed her arms
Issei: are you pouting because I didn't kiss you this morning?
she started blushing and nodded
issei: then just say so
he chuckled a bit and then gave her a deep kiss and she smiled after
issei: all right now I need to go and explain a few things before more misunderstandings happen
she nodded and smiled at him
Rossweisse: right okay have fun, I'll be here ready to leave when you are
he nodded and left
Time skip
We find Issei and yasaka lying on the ground covered in sweat and out of breath
Yasaka: (out of breath) That was amazing
she wrapped him up in her tails and he wrapped his arms around her
issei: well I do now have my stamina reaching new heights
she just snuggled up to him and listened to his heartbeat and he spoke
yasaka: hey I was thinking what happens after this?
she looked up at him with a smile
issei: I thought the same I like this between us I want to keep you close to me...
she was shocked, to say the least
yasaka: wow I don't know what to say...
issei: I want to keep what we have here it's the first for me and I knew that I would develop feelings for you and I want to keep you close what do you say want to be one of my girlfriends?
Yasaka: what's there to say for me this is nice because out of all the suiters in my life, none of them have enticed me like you have they only wanted me for my body and they didn't really interest me in any way as a yokai you can tell when someone has ulterior motives and as such when I we first met I could see past your other habits and see the kind and loving heart that you have
he placed her hand on his chest and it was like the magic surged, he could feel her emotions toward him and he could feel it all she was completely in love with him and he was able to see the way she felt he came in for a kiss and she kissed him back when they pulled away he spoke from his heart
issei: I promise I wont never let you cry and I'll be there for you no matter what if you need me I'm here I wont let you have any worries and i'll come and visit as much as I can
she tightened her grip on him and smiled he was happy things started looking like it would do him better
After their last session, he explained to kouno that something came up and he had to leave a bit early but he was going to come back and visit she was sad that he had to leave again, so he gave her a kiss on the forehead and she was shocked and gave him a tight hug with a big smile on her face
Issei: i'll be back I promise that
yasaka smiled at him and gave him a hug and a kiss
yasaka: i'll see you then lover
he nodded then helped Rossweisse with the bags and then they got into the car and drove off yasaka and kouno were happy that he'd become a strong point in their lives and hope it continues to be this way
Rossweisse: Hey Ise where are we going home is it in the other direction?
he looked at her quickly
issei: oh I have another interview in Kyoto that I got this morning and we can quickly stop go to it and then from there plus given my current looks while I still have a bit of brown in my hair I can make others think that I just stopped dyeing my hair and there won't be much question about it
she thought about it and could see it working
Rossweisse: you know that's not a bad idea you can also mention that it's been something that's been with you for a while now
he nodded in agreement
issei: that's the point people who know me are going to be asking questions about it so I can also say that it's something that started recently for something to that effect
Rossweisse: want me to come in with you or do you want to go in alone?
she said this in the event he wanted her by his side while going through this
issei: you can come with me, If I'm with anybody when they want to interview me then I don't mind bringing along that person
she smiled and took out her makeup bag
Rossweisse: then I need to be ready
he just smiled and drove on
Back in khou
Irina and Ravel had their bags packed and then they were waiting for Issei to come back today after a few days without him they had as one would call it an emotional break nothing big happened during the time he was gone, but they were curious to what was going on his side and the change that happened they didn't expect that from him nor the joining of Grayfias family when rias went to ask her brother about it he told her not to worry about it and it was bound to happen anyways so now they find themselves sitting in the living room with miki and gouro who know that he's coming tonight
Miki: girls are you sure you have everything?
miki asked Irina and Ravel to make sure they weren't missing anything
Irina: yes Aunty we have everything don't worry about it
she smiled and Miki giggled a bit
Xenovia: let's see what's on TV shall we
Xenovia picked up the remote and started flicking through channels and again isseis new interview was live on TV and Rossweisse was sitting next to him
Asia: oh look hes on TV again his hair doesn't look so bad on TV
gouro: what's going on with my son's hair and eyes?
he had a concerned look on his face then they heard Issei speak
issei:"Well it started recently I'm not sure why though but it did start with one or two hairs then I just dyed it back it really started to show but I'm going to leave it looks cool plus I had my friend here take a look and she said it just looks like a natural colour change so I don't mind it
Rossweisse: (smiling) he scared me out of bed when I saw it when I woke up
she was smiling and giggling about it and they held each other's hands then the interviewer asked the question that made the other's hearts race
interviewer:(smirking) Are you two dating?
Issei smiled and spoke
issei: let's keep that secret shall we but she is very close to me
interviewer: I see I see no matter it's only going to make your fans go wild with the theories
issei chuckled a bit
issei(chuckling) what are the biggest ones
interviewer: you have a daughter who was with you in your last interview
issei scratched the back of his head and smiled
issei:Well I can see why they would think that but it is too soon to tell her mother and I more or less started a relationship so it's too soon to think that far just yet but so far looks promising
it shocked the world that statement alone just started blowing up X to try and find the mother and his girlfriend and it caused Irina and the other girls to start giggling knowing he's fond of kouno but Miki and gouro shocked thinking they might have a grandchild already but then they were brought back to their senses when the interviewer asked another question
interviewer: could you sing us a finished song that you worked on you can use this time as a free advertisement if you wish
issei stood up
issei: okay get me a soundboard and a guitar and keyboard
the staff quickly got him what he wanted and then he set up
issei: this is for my girlfriend
As he sang everyone was feeling the song they could feel the emotion behind it, the women all started shedding tears they could feel the love even some guys who had a girl like this and they still lost them shed a few tears, he moved the whole world with this song, back at the house Irina was shedding tears all she wanted to do was make a magic portal and go give him a hug and a kiss and never let him go, it was similar to the other girls they could feel the love he put into that song
When he finished he signed the things he used and gave it to the guy who gave it to him
Interviewer:(tearing up) How do you just drop a song just like that? without warning too *sniff*
He screamed in excitement and the live audience was giving a loud round of applause
Issei: I don't know I base a lot of the songs on real things that happened to me and recently she's the one that saved me more than she knows *smiling*
Interviewer: issei Lucifuge thanks for coming today it means a lot that you gave us some of your time
Issei: it's no problem it's becoming fun doing these
They shook hands, and he then walked to Rossweisse wiped her tears and kissed her on the forehead she held his arm and they walked out of the building and got back into his car
Time skip Issei booked to Kouh and they arrived a little after 8 pm he walked into the house and was met by Asia who hugged him he hugged her back and Rossweisse and Issei followed her to the others who were busy setting the table
Issei: hey we here
he said loud enough to get all their attention upon seeing him he was much more built and slightly taller than last time but he looked to be in better spirits
miki: Welcome back issei
miki was the first to greet him then his darling girlfriend who gave him a tight hug and showered him kisses and roommate then the rest of the girls
issei: so what's been going on since I left?
he sat down and the others did the same getting ready to eat rias walked into the room with a pot of food
rias: oh nothing too event full just been handling things here and there but what about you you dropped 3 huge hits in less than a week
she placed it on the table and looked at him
issei: yea, i've been working on them more to be fairly honest but other than that I feel better in every way and form
Miki: that's great issei but do you mind explaining what's actually going on with your hair I'm a bit concerned about it
Miki spoke calmly to try not to upset him but he looked at her
Issei: well before I left the house a few hairs started changing and it just started getting worse so I just stopped trying to hide it entirely it's not hurting anyone is it?
Asia: No it's not it's just weird and a bit of an adjustment is all but I do like the single streak that it made
She tried to get the topic off him because she could see that both of them were going to say something to set him off
Gouro: son...
Issei: I'm not your son I haven't forgiven you fully yet but yes
they could see it he was still hurt from their actions and started to tread more lightly than before
gouro: right... um I just wanted to know about the little girl that we saw in the interview with you
issei: what about her you'll meet her when you meet her for now don't ask about her please like I said in the other interview it's too soon to say anything
Irina: issei breath please try and relax a bit
he looked to his side and saw Irina holding his hand to try and calm him down he took a deep breath and nodded
Koneko: did the treatment help a bit in terms of your mental stability I'm asking because it's meant to put your mind at ease
He could see they were all worried about him
issei: it did but since the first night I've been having nightmares of my childhood like when I was locked outside and then went to sit in a cave
Miki and gouro went white when he said this
Issei: the last thing I remember was I was cold and then I slowly closed my eyes and then I woke up that's it, it's irritating me again
Irina: Aunty what is he talking about
they looked at Miki she was just shedding tears and gouro wasn't fairing any better
Miki:(quietly crying) I can't say
was all she could say before fully breaking down along with gouro the two went to the other room to allow them to contain themselves again
Xenovia: issei how did you get locked outside?
Xenovia was curious and asked a question they all wanted to ask
issei: I was locked outside by them in the middle of the night in the rain I clearly remember screaming I'm sorry for whatever I did but I fell on deaf ears
he took a bite of his food and continued to eat
Koneko: I'm sorry to hear that but it seems the sage arts is trying to fix the damage from your past, I'm not sure how long it will take but it won't stop till it's all fixed and you recover from it
koneko stated while the others listened and ate
issei: well clearly it's something that would have messed me up but now I have more questions than answers
Rias: but you part of the Lucifge family now have you met Aunty yet or haven't you yet"
rias tried to change the topic and it worked
issei: no grayfia-nii was the only member I met i'll probably meet them with time though, why are you asking?
Rias: well the family is known to give the new members a gift tailored to them when Grayfia joined my family she was given the gift to bear children most of the women in the Lucifuge family can't bear children and she was one of them so my family gave her the chance and ability to have children
Issei: I see, well then only time will tell
he took another bite and it was his last one he sat back in his chair and closed his eyes and they saw the fire marks move over his face again
Akeno: issei is something wrong?
akeno spoke softly she didn't like seeing him like this but she wanted to see if hes alright
issei: no I have this headache and it has been like this since the last dream and it's still confusing me what was it about
ravel: why not tell us about it
ravel started looking into dreams or visions that attack the mind and break them down PTSD affects everyone in different ways and Issei is no exception
issei: once I made my choice and joined the Lucifuge family I was able to open the locked door and I was able to walk into the house no one was around but there was a black door and then the second door was changing between orange and red when I looked through the windows of doors one looked like what if raynare didn't kill me and the second was rias Irina and myself just sitting on the couch that was it...
they all looked confused but then Raynare's name made a few bells ring
Rias: issei which door did you choose?
rias was more concerned about the raynare door thinking that it could lead him down a path that would hurt him
issei: I didn't, I don't know what anything means so I haven't chosen yet
ravel: perhaps it's related to a different type of trauma
they all looked at Ravel confused like she was talking crazy
ravel: what I mean is that If you need to get past both doors, like the raynare one if you go into it you need to figure out why you fell for her and so forth and with Rias and Irina's door that could represent your feelings and need to either fix them or move on from them it's just a thought but it's your brain I could be way off fixing things
Akeno: you make valid points actually anything could spawn from those doors
Akeno said bringing him some tea to try and relax a bit
Issei: thanks... but I'll figure it out plus I have a job to do Sirzechs asked me to check it out so I'll go tomorrow and see what happens
Rias: what did my brother ask you to do? If you don't mind us asking we could help if you want.
rias hoped he would say yes they haven't spent much time with him since the incident and she wants to see how Issei is in long-term times with them
issei: nope Sirzechs only wants me to check it out Azazel messaged me giving me some more information about it and it turns out that it's creating some fluctuations between the overworld and underworld so I'll go and take a look all
Rossweisse: Okay but just be careful alright
Rossweisse spoke with concern he took her hand and gave it a kiss
Issei: I'm always careful alright
Ravel: (surprised) Woah when did this happen?
ravel had a massive grin on her face and the others all got curious too mainly Irina who had a big smirk on her face issei and Rossweisse started to blush a bit
issei: about last night
Rossweisse covered her face with her hands and Issei just warped his arm around her and kissed her forehead
Issei: leave her be for now it's new and we still working things out alright
Ravel: oh my dear Issei it's only getting started
ravel had a sinister look on her face and Irina was just smiling they all started laughing and that night issei didn't see his parents they stayed in their room for the rest of the evening issei drove back to the apartment and went to lie on his bed
Irina: feeling better?
he saw Irina on the other side of the bed and he nodded
issei: sure, as much as I enjoyed my time in Kyoto just being home feels great like I can fully relax
ravel: you know now you have 3 girlfriends and almost a kid right, what happened to not moving fast?
ravel could be heard coming into the room
issei: don't remind me just when I thought alright I'll take it slow, I'm not going to fight it but I'll see if we can take things slower yasaka said she's alright with it considering we went all the way on the first day
Irina: how was it?
he looked at Irina and could see she looked abit upset that she was not his first time
issei: well it was really good I also got to let out my pent-up stress in one shot it did bring us close together but it has passed my mind to talk to Micheal about something
they looked confused and let him speak
issei: it's been getting to me that you getting left out when you my angle so I want to ask him if he can implement a way to allow us to be more physical without her falling
Irina:(smiling) You know Ravel had the same idea
he turned on his back and smiled
issei: (smiling) See great minds think alike but I think it's time for bed yea
ravel: Fine i'll let you have this for tonight but you not going to doge my questions tomorrow
Issei didn't know If he was living with a gremlin the way she was snickering the whole time he shrugged it off and got comfy Irina came close and snuggled with him he gave her a deep kiss and then pulled away before she fell fell asleep
Irina: tomorrow is going to be a long day...
issei: hmmm
Time skip to the next day we find Issei flying in the air with his new molded dragon wings and flying to the last site Sirzechs tracked a magic spike from the people he is tracking
Ddraig: partner I have a question if you don't mind
Issei: "Sure thing Ddraig what's up?"
issei semi slowed down to hear properly
ddriag: why didn't you tell any of them about the door you chose? "
issei: "Because they going to stress over nothing it's something that I need to fix myself and I'll make sure of that, just because I picked the black door doesn't mean anything I just need to figure out why she still has an effect on my mind"
ddriag: That's what im concerned about
issei: "Relax man im not going to have any issues, anyways"
he started picking up speed again and flew into the distance
In the underworld, we find Sirzechs Grayfia Azazel with Rias and her peerage with Irina and Ravel watching him move around on a big screen
Sirzechs: you know this was a private matter right
Sirzechs was a bit irritated with his sister for just coming but it was too late now
Rias: he's our friend and we want to make sure he's okay
she just gave her brother a look
Kiba: his new wings look nice and seems he can move even faster now
Kiba was happy to his friend in such a better state and it surprised them to see his new form and how strong it was like this
gasper: why did he keep such a cool change like this from us?
they looked at Gasper who had sparkling eyes watching this
Issei didn't tell them for various reasons number 1 he doesn't trust them as much anymore, 2 this was his own progress he didn't need to show it off they watched as he made his wings disappear and took a nosedive towards the spot where he moved through the clouds, and they saw where he was heading
Stonehenge is a place of mystery and now magic seems to be another theory to add to it
Issei opened the communicators with them and spoke
Issei: All right I'm here and the magic levels are off the charts I can feel the difference
Azazel: issei tell us what you find we are watching you but we can't see everything
Azazel told him as he landed
Issei: got it... dang, it's heavy super heavy here..
He dropped the full armour and kept a sleek form of the armour on his arms and a bit on his body he looked around the stones and didn't see anything but then he saw a marker that he's never seen before
Issei: hey you seeing this?
Sirzechs: yes we are moving on ajuka is already looking into it
Issei nodded and he walked to the center it started getting heavier and heavier
Issei: what the heck is that?
He started getting closer and closer he saw an object he didn't realize but he started losing connection to Sirzechs and the others
They screamed at him to tell him to watch his back but it only made static at isseis end and they lost the connection
He got to the centre and there was a black orb in the centre
Issei: huh what the hell is that
he walked closer he saw a glowing orb, he touched it, which made it break and spread around his body consuming him in darkness, he could feel it running around his whole body, his skin was crawling, he opened his eyes and found himself in the void he looked around and saw the mass spreading around him fully consuming him as it shut around him he was brought back to his senses and saw the land around stone Hegde was burnt and some of the stones had some damage
he looked at his armour and it had some black and or darker accents to it in the distance he could hear sirens coming closer to his location
issei:(confused) what just happened to me...
in the underworld they lost contact with him for about 5 minutes when they got connection again they watched as he was confused and the connection was clear then he just stood in the centre then took off into the sky again
A magic circle opened up and he came through it looking very confused, they were happy he was back
Issei: (confused) Hey what the-
He fell over and passed out, which sent them into a frenzy to check on him, as they got to him the black mass spread around his body and went back they quickly got him to an infirmary and they tried to heal him but nothing was wrong he was unharmed
Rias saw the mass and tried to catch it off his body but it went around her hands and stayed almost intangible on his body
Ravel: I've never seen anything like this
They watched as it moved around his chest then stopped and he shot up taking in a deep breath
Issei:(coughing) what the hell...
He saw the mass spread and disappear into his skin as he looked up He saw all of them around him freeze in confusion and some of them had tears in their eyes
Issei: what the hell just happened to me?
