The first thing Callie did was run straight to Carina and Maya's place. She busted right in swinging the door open. Both Maya and Carina jumped off the sofa startled by the intrusion
"Did you guys know about Arizona and didn't tell me?! I don't know why y'all thought that was a good idea. A heads up or a warning would have been nice or would have been what any sane person would have done. I can't believe you guys put us in that situation!" Callie ranted off as she started pacing their living room. It didn't take long for her now english rant to turn into spanish. Maya sighed while she shook her head going to close the door that Callie obviously forgot about it or didn't pay any attention to. Meanwhile Carina walked up to Callie grabbing her by her shoulders
"Hey! Take a deep breath and eyes on me. Breathe in with me... now breathe out. Alright again" Getting Callie to calm down a bit. Callie slumped down on the sofa.
"Did it really go that bad? We're sor-" Callie cut Carina off before she could finish
"No no no, it was actually going really good. She's really great and ughhh of course there was another shoe that just had to drop" Callie groans out
"What do you mean? I'm not following you here. If she was so great then what?" Carina ask her confused
"Shehasapenis" Callie blurted out
Maya spit out her drink "What?!" She asked in between coughs
"Come again more slowly this time" Carina states looking at her trying to understand the ramble she just blurted out.
Callie took a deep breath "Arizona has a penis"
"Okay and?" Carina ask while Maya's eyes dart back and forth between the two
"What do you mean and? She's a girl with a penis" Callie snapped back
"Dios mio! Must all Americans be so simple minded. You're a doctor Callie you know these sorts of things already" Carina said shaking her head
"Yea so it's still not an everyday occurrence or one I expected to happen tonight"
"Why does it matter anyway? You're bisexual so it shouldn't exactly be a problem for you"
"It just took me by surprise. She's just so girly that nothing ever even came across my mind and she didn't mention anything before. It wasn't until we were in the moment and I felt it."
"That's understandable that you were shocked but you communicate with her"
"Shit! I just left her alone"
"Stupida!" Carina said slapping her shoulder
"Hey what you hit me for?!" Callie asked surprised
"Because you left that poor girl after she told you something that I imagine it pretty tough for her!" Carina scolded her
"Shit I did!" Callie said realizing her mistake as she stood up to leave " Wait what's you're take on all this? You've been pretty quiet over there Maya" Callie asked
"I already knew" Maya said shrugging
"What?!" Callie yelled out
"You didn't think to mention this to anybody, Bambina?"
"Not really. It's not my story to tell. Plus Callie's bisexual , I didn't think anything of it"
"But you spit out you're drink when I mentioned it"
"Yea because I didn't think you were gonna mention that. From the looks of things I didn't even think y'all got that far"
"Well that was the whole point of this setup. Now I have to go fix it" Callie sighed as she left the apartment
"Wait is she mad at me?" Maya asked Carina now alone in their apartment
"Eh it doesn't matter. She'll get over it if so" Carina said as she went to cuddle on her wife and give her a kiss
Meanwhile back at Arizona's apartment
Arizona decided to fix herself a drink once Callie left. She couldn't deny it, she felt something good when she first met her and then again when they kissed. She couldn't really point it out exactly what it was but she thought Callie was different, that this would have turned out good. She sighed out of course things just couldn't be simple. She had to admit she was bummed out about it. She decided to try to facetime Tim maybe he could cheer her up.
"Hey Phoenix!" Tim's face lit up the screen
Arizona instantly broke out in a big smile at the sight of him "Hey big brother. I'm actually surprise you were able to answer tonight"
"Yea i'm on guard during the day so i'm resting now" Tim answered he was currently deployed somewheres he couldn't say
"I just wanted to see your face but I'll let you get some rest" Arizona said getting ready to end the call
"What's up Arizona? That's not a reason you would just call me at night"
Arizona sighed out "I mean it's nothing really. I was just in a bum mood"
"Do I have to come over there and beat someone's ass?" Tim asked completely serious
Arizona smiled shaking her head "No Tim and you know I can handle myself"
"I know but still that's what big brothers are for. So tell me what happened"
Arizona started from the beginning telling him how it was set up, to bringing Callie back to her apartment and telling him everything in between.
"Dang Ari, I'm sorry that does suck and although she is a girl I can still come over there and scare her"
"Thanks but no thanks" Arizona answered taking a sip of her drink
"Should you even be drinking that drink with your arm?"
Arizona shrugged "Eh it'll be alright. I'm staying home now. Plus it's only one drink"
"Alright be careful Arizona. I'm going to get some sleep but call if you need anything."
"Alright I love you Tim, be safe."
"Always AZ, I love you too" Arizona sighed when the call ended. It was always good to see and hear from her brother but it was bittersweet too.
Knock Knock
Arizona put her glass in the sink and walked to open up the door, confused by who would be knocking she wasn't expecting anyone. She looked in the peep hole to see who it was and let out a sigh. She briefly debated on opening up or not. She decided to open the door if anything just to get the constant knocking to stop.
"Hi Arizona" Callie answered scratching the back of her neck nervously
"What do you want Callie?" Arizona stood there holding the door slightly open
"I'm so sorry. I just wanted to apologize and tell you how sorry I am for the way I left. I must have made you feel horrible and I'm sorry for that"
"Yea you kind of did. Is that all? I'm getting for bed" Arizona said going to close the door.
Callie quickly stuck her arm out stopping the door "Would you mind if I come inside and we can just talk? I really am sorry. If anything I just owe you an explanation"
"I guess" Arizona said reluctantly opening the door and standing to the side to let Callie in
"Thank you" Callie said taking a deep breath and walking inside as Arizona closed the door.
