AND WE'RE BACK! Sorry if this felt a bit all over the place, I just wanted a small filler episode put in. Enjoy!
Chapter 17: Mission L.A.G.
Motor Ed's POV
I, seriously, woke up to my alarm, like, playing rock music, like seriously excited that today was the day. Seriously. Yesterday I learned a few things and, like, decided today would seriously be like, a good day to learn more. I like rushed to my computer, knowing I, like seriously, wouldn't find much on my subject, but decided to, like, see what was around that was, like ya know, interesting to the subject at hand.
I knew I wasn't good enough to seriously beat Red, but I could, like, hire others to distract. I looked into hiring, like seriously hating the fact that the prices were like atrocious, but I seriously saved up, like, a whole month of not buying parts for this. Seriously. I clicked hire before, like, seriously going to make coffee. I can't, like, function without either coffee or, like, an energy drink. As I made my coffee, black with like 2 spoons of sugar, I heard my computer ding. I, like, seriously hurried over and smiled at my approval. I was, like seriously, quick to emailing the 10 I, like, hired to go to 10 seriously radical places to, like, steal what was on my list.
Why?
I like, needed a distraction so, like, my guys can buy/steal some things and I can, like seriously, steal the pièce de résistance.
^If this seriously doesn't do it, then like, nothing will.^ I thought with a smile before waking up the boys.
I set them up in groups of 3 and a list for each while I decided to go alone. They all grumbled, but after yelling I'd cancel our annual race, they like, freaked out and got moving. Seriously, great guys. I then got in my seriously super charged monster truck, the one I adapted to control by remote, before seriously bolting as fast as possible to another state. I knew what I wanted, seriously.
Gogo's POV
I smiled as I drank a morning mimosa in a fancy restaurant.
"Thank you for meeting me out here." I say with a smile.
I was sporting black heels with ribbons going up to my knees like ballerina slippers, a black dress that went to my knees and was strapless to show more skin than what I was used to, a yellow sash around my waist to form a ribbon tied Japanese style behind my back, yellow gloves that went to my elbows, a black ribbon choker and black studded earrings.
My hair was pushed back to be half up and held in place with a couple clips and a black ribbon to make a bow. I had on lip gloss with black glitter and black eyeliner on as angel wings as a final touch.
"Of course, Jack mentioned you were looking into real estate." A man named Sjaelland Bythem said to me. (Name pronounced Sell And Buy Them. Clever, right?)
He wore a cheap, money green colored suit with a gold tie, a gold coin pin on his left pocket chest, black Italian shoes on, a gold ring on his right pinkie finger, a thin black mustache, black hair slicked back with much too much gel, dark tan skin that was either natural or extremely fake, hard to tell and a gold tooth on the right side, the canine to be precise. This guy was bad vibes, but the best in the business apparently.
"Yes, I am looking into buying a few places to earn extra income. What can you recommend for me?" I asked him, sipping more of my mimosa. I usually didn't like mixing business with drinks, but this place was famous for them.
"I know Jack speaks highly of you, as well as warned me about how smart you are, so I'll show you my bests and see how we haggle." He quickly said before opening his brief case like bag filled with files.
^Smart man.^ I thought to myself with a smile. He pulled out several files and placed them on the table. He opened one for me to see.
"Can I interest you in this hotel? It used to be popular." He suggested to me. I picked up the file and browsed through it.
"Decent location, building's in decent shape. Why is it abandoned?" I questioned him, being curious on this.
"The owner can't sell it due to some trouble." He tells me, causing my right eyebrow to rise up.
"Trouble?" I questioned him.
"There are known gangs around." He tells me, causing me to nod.
"Fine, I can deal with that. How much?" I asked him, not bothered by gangs. He seemed shocked by this, but then smiled.
"A tough one, I like that. It's a simple 100 bedroom hotel, so it's value is $18 million." He tells me. I looked at the file before sipping my drink. I then pulled out my phone and made a call before looking at him.
"One of my guys is going to see the damage, so the 'value' you gave might be inaccurate. What else?" I asked him, not caring much about how much I spent.
I was now the 6th richest person in the world, causing me to be in the billions thanks to 'The Fall of Falsetto Jones'. He showed me some shops and other hotels for sale as well. I pushed the shops aside and looked into more hotels, restaurants and spas as well. I even saw a couple stadiums I wanted to buy, perfect for renting out events. I called my guys to look into everything, so I could decide quickly with no hassles.
"They will call me back soon." I tell him as out breakfast arrived.
He ordered eggs over easy, bacon, ham and sausages with toast and jam. I ordered chocolate crepe rolls with with a mix or whipped cream and raspberry whipped cream in the center, drizzled in chocolate syrup and raspberries around and on it to look picture perfect. There were 8 crepes on my plate. I used my fork and knife before eating.
"You don't trust me, do ya?" He asked me before eating a sausage.
"Not really, but I don't trust many people. I trust you a little more due to Jack, though." I tell him before taking another bite.
"And you seem to enjoy sweets." He says, pointing to my food.
"That I do, seeing as how I very rarely eat these." I say to him after swallowing.
I refuse to talk with a full mouth unless needed. I soon got a text, then another, then a few more. Once I finished eating I looked through them before nodding.
"My men tell me most are in good shape, but the rest are awful. The ones with gang problems and such are now dealt with, so I wish to make offers." I tell him, gently pushing my plate away.
"Alright, how much do you want?" He asked me, nearly finished with his food.
"All 15 of these places for $316 Million." I tell him, using my math skills to determine a price but rounding it to a 'friendly number' to make it easier. He choked on his bacon before looking at me.
"No no no, that won't do. I'm looking for-" He started, but I raised my hand to cut him off.
"Mr. Bythem, I know my numbers well and how much time and money will be spent on repairs, remodeling, hiring and more. Believe me, I'm not stupid. In reality, the value is worth $264,794,638 for all of them, but I rounded it up and even added a bit of gratuity to show good will and such. Now, you can either take my offer or you can walk away, watch the value decrease more and make a much less profit than before. Now, not only would you be selling 7 hotels, 4 spas, 2 restaurants and 2 stadiums in total, a very large buy for anyone I might add, but you'd be making a profit of $51,205,362 in total. If you walk away from this and then come back to me at any point in time without repairs and such, I guarantee you'll only make a profit of $237,890 from me if you're lucky. I mean, I doubt Jack wanted these for the problems that were found, but I'd take that chance easily. So, what do you say? I can pay today as long as I get the contracts now." I tell him, setting up the account I prepared ahead of time on my phone to show him.
This was what I used to transfer money around to and from villains for my merchandises. He seemed off put by it all, but then sighed with a smile.
"You, you're a slick one. I like ya, got lots of moxie in ya. Alright, deal. I have all the papers, I'll just sign them and you can too." He says as he pushed his plate to the side before signing.
I used my earring to do an invisible scan of each paper before taking it out and putting it in my phone. After a few seconds, it showed me everything was legit and no loopholes against me. I put my earring back just as he looked at me, pushing the papers and pen to me. I signed without issues before sending him the money.
"Pleasure doing business." I say with a smile.
"Do you need copies?" He asked me, curious I didn't read anything.
"I have digital ones, but you can send paper copies to Jack. If anything doesn't match with what I have, which is a copy of these, then I'll make sure you won't walk for a very long time." I threaten him, showing him my glowing eyes to prove a point. He flinched before smiling and nodding.
"No problem, all will be sent. Did I mention you're good at this?" He agreed then asked me.
"You did. Now, if I want more in the future, I will let you know." I say as the bill arrives. I pulled out my yellow purse but Bythem stopped me.
"I got this, I'm sure you have some business elsewhere." He informs me, placing a black card on the check.
"Very well, thank you. I hope to meet you soon." I say, shake his hand, then got up and left.
I walked outside to the warmish air of Paris, France. I left the fancy dinning area and decided to spend the day walking the streets, do some shopping and have my men work on everything for me.
^Maybe I should turn Falsetto's other properties into luxury bed & breakfasts or something. Heck, maybe I should rent them to wealthy people as vacation homes. I don't have too much use for them living wise. I don't want all my men living there either, just in case.^ I thought to myself before spotting a cute pair of shoes.
I was quick to go inside, happily browsing and ready to buy. This store was one for men and women, which was fine by me. I saw the shoes and immediately thought of Shego, they were her style more than mine anyhow. I picked out a few for her and myself, as well as a new cute purse for me, before seeing one register was open and another was occupied. I quickly hurried over before putting my stuff down.
"Bonjour Miss, would there be anything else you're interested in?" The man behind the counter asked me.
He looked stereotypical French style, as did the girl who was helping the guy, while having a semi-heavy French accent.
"No thank you, this is it and don't try to sweet talk me into buying anything else." I say in a sweet tone, smiling at him with a sweet smile but my eyes showed I was serious. He nodded and rung me up before telling me the total.
"You can put it on my card." I heard a voice next to me as a card was suddenly shown.
I looked with my eyes to the side to see a handsome Hispanic guy, perhaps my age, with black hair gelled down, lovely bluish/gray eyes, a small curl of a beard, bronze skin, muscular and wearing a yellow short sleeved top, a red belt with a silver buckle and black leather pants with black shoes. Seeing the outfit, as simple as it was, showed they were high end and expensive.
He smiled a bright white smile, eyes half down and one eyebrow raised as if he was flirting with me. Good thing was, being forced by Sid and Fin to watch romance films helped me see more between flirting and kindness, but not as good still. Yet, I could tell this guy was obviously flirting with me.
"Thanks, but no. I can pay myself, like a big girl." I say, using my index finger on my left hand, since he was standing to my left, to lower his wrist gently while handing over my gold card to the cashier, who went wide eyed through all of this.
"A gold card, more rare than a black one. Not many have those, I'm impressed." Said the guy, hearing the mild Hispanic accent he had. I felt like I had seen him before, but my mind drew a blank for a rare moment in my life.
"I'm sorry, but you seem familiar to me, yet I'm drawing a blank. Do I know you?" I asked him, putting my card away before grabbing my bag.
"Perhaps in your dreams?" He questioned me, still flirting.
"No no, I don't dream of men. I swear, I've seen you from somewhere. Oh dear, this is bothersome. I almost never forget faces and names." I say, putting my hand under my chin in thought as I desperately tried to remember him.
"We couldn't have, because I'd remember a beauty like you." He tells me, still flirting and being a gentleman. The gentleman part made me think on Señor Senior Senior, but not by much.
"I wish I could remember, perhaps you hired me for work? No, I'd remember that." I say as I kept trying to think.
"Perhaps a cappuccino would help you recall?" He asked me, bowing to the side a bit as if to ask me to follow him.
"I just had a drink, thank you." I said, mind still fogged on it.
"Junior, what is taking you so long?" I heard a familiar voice, causing me to looked over at Señor Senior Senior himself.
"Father, please. I am flirting with this lovely woman." The boy dubbed Junior told him. I smiled at S.S.S.
"Señor Senior Senior, what a pleasant surprise." I say happily as I went to him to properly greet him.
"Ah, Miss Gogo, what a pleasant surprise! You should've told me you were in town." He said as we shook hands formally.
"I didn't plan to be here long, just buying some properties to keep money coming in." I say with a smile. Junior's jaw dropped as his father and I partially ignored his shock.
"That makes sense. I heard Falsetto's wealth went to you, I presume it's true?" He questioned me, eyebrow raised a bit in curiosity.
"Oh yes, he was caught and sent to jail, which by contract means I get everything of his." I say to him, causing S.S.S. to chuckle at this.
"Seems his luck ran out, but yours has not." S.S.S. comments to me, but then Junior rushed over to butt in.
"Father, how do you know this lovely lady?" Junior asked him, causing me to finally remember him.
"Oh,~ you're Señor Senior Junior, his son. That's why I was trying to remember you. I had only seen you once before, but that was because it was dark and I barely saw you." I say to him before looking at S.S.S.
"I do apologize for not recognizing him, but the night does affect vision slightly." I say to Senior in an apologetic tone.
"I don't remember you, though." Junior says in a quiet tone.
"I take no offense to that." Senior says to me with a smile before looking at Junior.
"Miss Gogo here is the one who repaired our machines, the young lady I told you about and she was 'The Ninja' I had hired to challenge you with the jewelry store heist." Senior reminded Junior. Junior had listened, but hearing the final words made his jaw drop.
"You mean she's 'The Ninja' who had beaten me and was the same one to give me Brittina's scrunchie?" Junior questioned, his voice nearly squeaked in shock.
"I take it you don't watch many of my videos, do you?" I questioned Junior with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, it is difficult to tell it's you without the catsuit." Senior defended his son, causing me to look at Senior and smile.
"Fair enough, but I will say you were correct. Junior is very handsome, as well as a charmer." I say to Senior, causing Senior to chuckle.
"He gets that from me, I suppose." Senior confessed to me, causing me to giggle a little bit.
"I suppose he did, but at least he's a gentleman who offered to buy my things. I turned him down of course, but he did offer to buy me a drink. Though, if you joined us I wouldn't mind just to catch up and know your son better. After all, I have a feeling he might one day wish to do business with me." I suggest with a smile, extending an olive branch to one of my best clients. He wasn't just my best client due to money, but because he respects me, my values and knows to never cross me.
"Please Father, please!" Junior begged him, acting like a small child begging for a toy. I held back an eye roll from this attitude, still keeping my composure as Senior held his hand up to Junior.
"No no, she's possibly busy today." Senior said to him, causing Junior to pout and look sad. His had puppy eyes were actually adorable.
"Oh, I don't mind. I would just end up back at my main hide out, working on one of my inventions out of boredom really." I comment, a mild hand wave in a posh way as my smile never faded.
Honestly, other than the whining Junior might actually be my type. I mean, I know he's not super smart, but he's practically an Adonis to many. Plus Shego did train him, so he's much better than he was before from what I'm told.
"Then how could I say no?" Senior asked me with a smile, Junior quickly cheered up and had a bright smile as his eyes sparkled. It was cute, it really was. "I'd be delighted, Señor." I say politely to them.
We soon exited the shop, heading to an expensive Cafè to enjoy overpriced coffee in tiny cups. A bit of a waste, but it's more of a business thing for me. After all, if the Señor's are happy, then they will keep being my clients.
Motor Ed's POV
I, like finally made it to Tennessee as planned, Memphis to be exact. Would, like seriously enjoy the cruise here if, like ya know, I wasn't in a rush. I found a spot, like making sure it was seriously close to the entrance as I, like seriously, had my remote on me. I walked right into The Automobile Museum, like totally admiring the décor and such, until I got to the prize. Seriously, the second most beautiful thing on this planet earth.
A 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood, part of the Fleetwood Series 60 in a special pink color. Elvis Rose pink. Seriously. Yes, this was the same car Elvis, like seriously the king of Rock N' Roll himself, gifted his mother. I smiled, like genuinely smiled over how beautiful this car was. As I said, it's seriously the second most beautiful thing on this planet, maybe even this galaxy. Only, like, one thing was like, seriously totally the most beautiful in the universe.
My subject.
I used my remote to, like, cause a gigantic explosion, like seriously a gigantic one, on the front door. Seriously, that explosion, like, caused the whole front to be, like, missing. People screamed, panic set in, everybody was running except me. I like, totally air guitar before jumping into the seriously sweet ride. They, like, left the keys in the visor so I, like, totally took them, started this seriously sweet ride, then took off while doing my sweet air guitar sound war cry before flipping a switch on my remote to, like, get my truck to follow on auto drive.
After 3 minutes, I like saw the cops following me, seriously. I pushed a button on my remote, causing my seriously radical rockets to shoot right at them, causing a radical explosion and a fire, causing them to, like seriously, stop chasing me to, like, deal with that. I pulled out my radio from my pocket.
"You guys got the goods?" I questioned them, making sure I wasn't being chased.
"Got it, boss." I heard many voices reply.
"Ah sweet! Like, seriously, head back to base!" I reply before setting the radio down.
I soon saw a jet, it was like one of the henchmen I hired that was seriously flying it, come down low and, like, open the hatch, like seriously letting myself and my truck inside before flying off.
Hopefully I catch my subject's eye. Seriously.
Gogo's POV
It had been an hour since arriving at the Cafè with the Seniors and it's been nice, slightly boring but nice.
"So, you're very smart as well?" Junior asked me as I politely sipped my drink.
"Yes, an I.Q. of 160, making me smarter than Kim Possible's computer friend, Wade." I explained as I set my cup down, you could barely hear the clink as it was set down.
"Interesting, it's very rare for girls to be both." Junior tells me, though I'm sure he didn't mean it to be offensive sounding.
"Junior, as true as it is, be careful with your words. I could've been offended had I not known it was a compliment." I gently warned him, just to see how he would react. Junior didn't seem too phase from this, though.
"What do you mean?" Junior questioned me.
"Junior, she means the tone could be offensive and it could've angered her. Remember, she is Shego's younger sister." Senior reminded Junior.
This caused Junior to flinch a little bit, possibly remembering my sister loosing her temper more than once, before looking right at me.
"I apologize, I will try to remember that." Junior apologized, but I couldn't tell if he meant it or not. Still, I only smiled at him.
"It's fine, as I said I knew you meant well. Words don't hurt me much anymore, but I digress. So, your father tells me you have been doing well with your villain training and thefts?" I question him, deciding to take another sip of my drink.
"Yes, I have been doing well with small trinkets." Junior tells me with a smile, seemingly proud of this.
"Good, good. Did you know the reason I became 'The Ninja' was to both practice stealing and boost my confidence until I was ready to show myself?"
I asked Junior, making a comparison to help him understand the training and such.
"I did not know that. I'm glad that someone understands why I am taking, how you say, baby steps." Junior says with a smile, feeling more relaxed after hearing my words.
"Precisely. Don't take big risks until you've done your research, have a back up plan and have the proper tools. If, for any reason, you need help with a job or even research, you can give me a call. Your father has my number and email to contact me, so there shouldn't be many issues with contacting me." I tell him, my smile a bit bigger at this point. I wasn't flirting, not intentionally anyhow, but I was strengthening my connections rather well.
"Thank you Miss Gogo, that is most helpful." Senior said to me with a smile.
"You're my best client, therefore so is your son. It's wise to have great connections, but I genuinely enjoy both of your company very much." I say politely to Senior, tucking a small strand of loose hair behind my right ear.
I wasn't too good at flirting, but I wanted to be nice to Junior still. Junior seemed like a guy who could aggravate me and make me want to smack him over his lack of knowledge, but at the same time he'd make a wonderful trophy boy.
^At least he's not as dumb as Hego.^ I thought in a sour tone as Junior smiled happily at my compliment, as well as Senior.
"You are most kind, but I do wonder if you had anything to do with Falsetto's downfall?" Senior asked me, a smile on his face and eyes that seemed dark, he was testing me.
"He played with fire, he got burned. He purposefully set up a trap that failed. He shouldn't have done that, but he did. If he had told me his plan ahead of time, I could've provided an exit for him but I was, unfortunate for him, left in the dark. His downfall and capture is his own fault, though keeping him locked up is because I won't bail him out." I say before finishing my cappuccino.
"Why not help your partner?" Junior asked me, causing my look to turn sour, as if I sucked on a lemon.
"He proposed to me, I'm not interested in him. He didn't like the word no and put his hands on me, causing me to nearly break his arm. I'm not forgiving that." I say as I set my cup down.
"Isn't he old?" Junior questioned, causing Senior to side eye him before looking at me, a serious look on his face.
"I heard Falsetto say you set him up, though." Senor tells me.
"Oh posh, he's just bitter because he was caught and I said no to his proposal. I'm not an easy prize to win, but I never saw him as a competitor for the race anyhow." I tell Senior, showing I was serious.
Yes, I was technically lying, but no one needed to know that. After what felt like a minute Senor smiled, satisfied with my answer as he leaned back.
"I'm glad to know you did not have anything to do with his capture, nor do I blame you for leaving him in prison. With him there, the rest of us villains will have an easier time." Senior said with a smile.
"So,~ does that mean you are single?" Junior asked me, causing Senior to look at him.
"Junior, don't be rude." He scolds his son gently, but I raised my hand.
"It's fine, it's a simple question. I'm single Junior, though I'm not sure I'm a good match for anyone. I'm very hard to please, easy to aggravate/annoy and both simple yet complex. I thought I'd warn you now, just in case you thought of trying." I say to Senior then turned to Junior to explain, smiling with a wink after it all. Junior blinked in surprise before smiling.
"So there is a chance." Junior said with mild excitement, rather than asked. I lightly laughed, a genuine one.
"I must admit, I love the enthusiasm you have." I complimented, not realizing it was now going to get interesting.
Motor Ed's POV
I, like, shuddered in delight when I, like seriously, pulled into my lair with my minor prize. Seriously, it's like, totally minor compared to the prize I'm, like, after. The guys, like, soon arrived with everything on my list, which was seriously radical of them.
"Hey boss, why did you have us steal this junk?" Slick Dan asked me, like seriously getting on my nerves.
"Hey, don't give me lip. Seriously, this is all, like, part of my totally master plan to, like seriously, steal the greatest thing ever! Seriously." I exaggerate, like totally telling him off. I dunno what's been up with him, seriously.
"So what's going on with the stuff, boss? What's the heist?" Hot Harry started bombarding me with questions, which was, like, totally fair.
"I'm gonna, like totally steal the most valuable item in, like, the world. Seriously, maybe even, like, the universe!" I exaggerated my tone, but was like, seriously serious about my words.
"And what's that?" Slick Dan asked me, eyebrow cocked up with a nasty attitude. He was, like, seriously annoying the bolts outta me. Seriously.
"Don't question da boss, man." Skinny Sal scolded Slick Dan, causing Slick Dan to glare at Skinny Sal with hate.
I, like, seriously felt my eyebrow twitch in, like, annoyance over this. Seriously, they're like, harshing my mellow and like, throwing off my vibe.
"Shut up! Seriously, it's like, seriously annoying! What I'm stealing is, like, none of your concerns right now! Just, like, I dunno, take a day off!" I say before taking out my wallet and tossed them a couple thousand I had in there, the last of my cash for now. They were all shocked, but they like also knew they, like seriously, pissed me off.
"G-got it." Hot Harry stuttered out before they all dashed off. Once gone, I breathed a totally big sigh of relief, serious face now like, more relaxed.
Seriously, I was, like, relieved they left. I organized everything in the car, then like went to my computer to, like, look up a couple things, leaving me at seriously dead ends. I sighed before, like, calling one person who could, like, help me out.
"Dr. Drakken speaking." I heard my cousin talk on the other end.
"Drew, it's Eddie. Seriously." I say to him. I heard a small groan, guess he's like totally in a bad mood.
"What is it?" He asked me.
"Put Green Babe on, seriously. I gotta, like, ask her something." I say to him. Seriously, this was slightly embarrassing.
"Shego's out on her day off right now. Why do you need to talk to her?" He asked me after, like, explaining Shego's out. I frowned, but then perked up.
"I need a favor, cous." I say to him. Seriously, like a great idea on my end.
Gogo's POV
I was slightly annoyed with Junior, but it's not his fault at least. I know he means well, but his insistence on buying me something was a bit strong for me.
"Junior, I insist on paying for my own to go muffin. I mean, I had 2 cups of cappuccino, I couldn't ask for a muffin from you as well." I say as I tried to pay for my muffin. A $15 muffin better taste good.
"As a gentleman, I insist." Junior tells me, trying to hand over his card as well.
"We're not going to agree, are we?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow over how stubborn we both are.
"It seems so, but perhaps a bet would do?" Junior asked me, a devious yet attractive smile on his face. I felt my cheeks turn pink, but I smiled right at him, a sly one.
"I do like a good bet." I say in a slightly seductive tone, darn my weakness to gambling.
Junior grabbed a bowl, took both our cards, put both in the bowl, covered it with a clean cloth napkin and then gave it to the waitress.
"Just take out a random card and pay with it." Junior told the waitress, causing my smile to slightly fade.
"A game based on a 50/50 chance, no cheating, no rules, just a game of pure luck?" I questioned him, curious as to why he picked that game.
"Because either of us could cheat, so consider this fair. The loser pays for everything." He says with a smile, feeling confident. I blinked a couple times before laughing.
"That's hardly fair. No matter what, you win. You win if you pay for me, but win if you don't since you save money." I laughed out, but his smile didn't fade.
"Yes, but it's that same for you, right?" Junior questioned me, causing me to look at him after laughing.
"Maybe so, but it just seems… Weak." I tell him, calming myself after laughing.
"Fine, then loser has to do one favor for the winner." Junior said, sweetening the deal for me. I went into thought, putting my right index finger on my chin, tapped it twice, then lowered it before smiling a Cheshire grin right at Junior.
"I'll accept the wager." I say to him, causing him to nod in agreement before looking at the waitress.
"Go ahead and grab one." Junior tells the waitress. The raven haired, brown eyed waitress rolled her eyes in annoyance before pulling out a card.
"Señor Senor Junior pays the bill." She announced to us before putting the bowl down, then walked off with the whole bill. I softly frowned as Junior clapped his hands in excitement.
"Seems like I win." Junior announced with glee. I hated losing, I could feel that tinge in me stir, but I brushed it off before smiling.
"Fair is fair, you win." I say to him, leaning backwards in my chair to show a graceful defeat.
"I, Gogo, owe you one favor to be cashed in at anytime." I say to him, trusting his judgment on whatever his favor will be.
"Great! My father has your number, so I'll contact you when I think of the favor." Junior says with a smile.
I feel like he knows what he wants, but he just won't ask it yet. It's as if he's waiting for a good time.
"Fair enough, I'm going to trust you with this." I tell him as the waitress came back.
Junior signed the receipt before Señor Senor senior, who had stepped away to use the restroom, returned to the table.
"Junior, it is getting late. Do you need a ride, Miss Gogo?" Senior told Junior before asking me politely.
"Oh, no thank you. My ride will be here in a few minutes." I say with a smile, putting my card in my wallet then putting my wallet in my purse, standing up before getting my shopping bag as well as slipping my purse in my bag.
"Are you sure? It would be no problem at all." Junior asked, being very insistent.
"I'm sure, thank you though. Only my henchmen and myself know where my hideouts are anyhow, so it would be more of a hassle." I explained with a smile, showing I didn't bring anyone to my places just yet.
Junior wanted to say something, but then wind picked up. I looked and saw a familiar hovercraft in the air, but what surprised me was not Shego, but Motor Ed hopping out. He had a bungie cord on him as he jumped out.
"Motor Ed?" I questioned out loud before he grabbed my waist.
"Gotcha Babe! Seriously!" He yelled before we were both flung up and into the craft.
I gave a small shriek, holding onto my bag that thankfully had my purse in it, before being in the craft and forced to sit after Dr. Drakken took off.
"What's going on here!" I yelled at the two. Were they abducting me?!
"Took forever, but I, like seriously, tracked you down!" Motor Ed said before looking at my attire, eyes scanning me up and down. I smacked him hard across the face, causing him to see stars, before glaring at Drakken.
"Drakken! If you're seriously assisting him in abducting me, I'm telling Shego!" I screamed at him, sounding like a child at this point and even stomped my foot to add to the childish behavior.
"We're not kidnapping you, you don't need to tell Shego!" Drakken yelled back in annoyance, looking at me when he did so but then looked forward and yelped before narrowly missed hitting the Eiffel Tower.
"Keep you're eyes forward!" I yelped out, feeling my hair get messy from the wind.
"Why'd ya slap me?!" Motor Ed yelled out the question.
"Well, let's see. 1) you abducted me off the streets while I was ending my second meeting! 2) you're looking me over like a pervert! 3) I'm mad!" I yell out, my eyes glowing yellow at the last explanation.
"She has a point." Drakken tells him calmly, earning a glare from Motor Ed.
"Like, butt out. Seriously." Motor Ed scolds him harshly, then looks back at me.
"Why were you with those guys?" Motor Ed asked me, he looked jealous.
"Those are The Seniors, one of my highest paying and important clients!" I yell at him, eyes glowed more in anger at him.
"Clients?" Motor Ed questioned me.
"Yes, clients! I still do commission work and such! Besides, how could you embarrass me like that?!" I screamed at him, ready to go full rage mode.
"Babe, calm down-" Motor Ed started off, but I cut him off.
"Stop with the nicknames!" I yelled at him, my face turning pure red in rage.
"Maybe you should explain-" Drakken started, but Motor Ed glared at him.
"Seriously, shut up!" Motor Ed yelled at Drakken, causing Drakken to shrug before speeding up.
"Explain what?! How you're doing this to get my number? A date? To 'impress' me? You've embarrassed me, angered me and now my hair is starting to get ruined!" I screamed as my hair started to loosen out of it's style, stomping my foot once more like a child.
"Will you seriously stop yelling!" Motor Ed yelled at me, making my temper rise more.
"No! I'm mad, so I'm gonna yell!" I yelled at him, causing him to get in my face.
"I like, took you the way I did because I, like seriously know you wouldn't, like, come willingly!" He yelled in my face, bad idea.
I had flashbacks of Hego yelling in my face, which made my inner self want to cry. I held in the tears and let the rage spill instead.
"Damn right I wouldn't! Also, don't yell in my face!" I yell at him, getting in his face.
"Then sit down and seriously stop yelling! I'm, like, trying to bring you somewhere to, like, totally give you something!" He yelled at me, starting to turn red. I wanted to hit him, but hearing he got me something made me calm down a little.
"You swear?" I questioned him, still feeling anger as my eyes died down.
"Yes, seriously." Motor Ed tells me, still an angered tone but not yelling. I gave him a skeptical look, which caused his eyes to roll.
"I swear on the very 1st Charley Mavison Motorcyke built in 1918." He tells me, making the same swear I did once before to him, back when we raced with my DeLorean and the experimental rocket fiasco.
My eyes widened, knowing full well people like us never swear on that bike unless we meant it. I felt myself calm down a bit before sitting, crossing my arms in a pout over this.
"Fine, but can I at least make a couple calls?" I asked Motor Ed, needing to make those calls.
"Sure, but not Green Babe." He tells me.
"Shego, her name is Shego." I chastised him before getting my phone.
I saw I had missed calls, causing me to sigh in annoyance. I called Fin, who was picking me up, then told him what happened and had a tracker turned on so he could track me now.
Next was the Senors, to which I apologized and explained the idiocy of it all and that I was fine. Senior sounded relieved as Junior, in the background, was begging his father to go after me to make sure. I assured I was fine and would message them tonight before hanging up.
"My ride is tailing us now, so no funny business." I told The Lipsky Cousins, causing Ed to whine and Drakken to agree.
"You, uh, didn't tell Shego… Did you?" Drakken asked me with a worried whimper.
"No, be lucky I didn't yet." I told him, still sounding upset.
I was curious, don't get me wrong, but I was upset about how all this went about. I felt mild embarrassment over the fact I acted like a child, but I hadn't really acted like one since my tween years, not to mention I acted like this when I lost or got completely upset/angry. It was a nasty habit, but I didn't exactly grow up normal and in a not so completely stable/mildly toxic environment.
^Maybe I should talk to someone about this, just for my childhood.^ I thought as I looked over to see we were near a familiar area.
The Upperton Race Course where we had that race. We soon landed before Motor Ed pulled me out.
"I can walk on my own." I pout before my jaw drop.
I saw the most beautiful vehicle I'd ever seen!
"I-is that? OMG it is! A 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood, part of the Fleetwood Series 60 in a special Elvis Rose pink color designed just for Elvis, the king of Rock N' Roll himself, which was gifted to his mother!" I gasped out as I ran over to it, admiring the beauty in front of me.
"Yeah, like, the same one. No replica of it, it's like, the real deal, Honeydew." Motor Ed told me, causing me to look right at him.
"You stole it? From the museum in Tennessee?" I questioned him in shock.
"Yeah, like totally did. Seriously, there's more in the trunk." He tells me, then tossed me the key.
I caught them, seeing the gold key with tiny fuzzy dice keyring added to them, then went to the trunk. I opened it to find the latest tool set in yellow with a black toolbox and GG in yellow added to it, a bunch of black roses and a bunch of parts I could use for my rides or machines.
I was shocked, these were parts I was planning on getting soon, yet he got to them first and gave them to me! I had a tight grip on the keys.
^I want them, I really want them, but there's a catch… There's always a catch.^ I thought as I closed the trunk. I walked over to the side to see Motor Ed smiling at me.
"Well, is it, like seriously, a great gift?" He asked me.
"Why am I getting these?" I questioned him, being very cautious about this.
"Well, I wanted to give the second most beautiful thing on earth to the most beautiful one." Motor Ed tells me, causing me to raise an eyebrow up and cock my head to the side, looking slightly cute without knowing it.
"I think he's calling the car the second beautiful one." Drakken cut in, causing me to straighten my head, a deep blush on my cheeks as I tried to cover my face.
"Yeah, Drew's right. Seriously, I would've thought this car was, like seriously the most beautiful thing on earth, but then I met you and, well, yeah." Ed said, sounding flustered.
I was both flattered and embarrassed over this. I felt my hands get removed from my face, then fingers under my chin lift my face up, looking Ed right in the eyes.
"Seriously, I like, really like you. You're, like, totally rad and, like, awesome, smart, beautiful and, like, seriously amazing. Please, I wanna, like, take you out on a date. Just one." He tells me, causing my blush to grow darker and darker until I was as burgundy.
"Ed, I-I..." I started to speak, but I couldn't form proper words.
"I don't need an answer right now, I can, like, seriously wait, but I had to, like, pay Hench to do multi-heists so my boys and I could get these together. Seriously, just call me and, like, tell me when you're ready." He said, trying very hard not to pressure me as he spoke softly.
He was usually loud, bold, conceded and rude, but he was speaking softly to me for the first time. Because he spoke to me like this, I didn't feel like I needed to be intimidating, loud, bold or stand offish like I had to with Hego for many years. Instead, this helped me feel calm, relaxed and helped me clear my mind a little bit.
"Ed, I… I'm not ready to go on a date with you, not yet. Can I, well, let you know when I'm ready to?" I asked him softly, feeling an old fear I didn't think would reappear.
Rejection.
Ed blinked a bit, seemingly upset, but then he smiled.
"You got it, Honeydew. I'll, like, be waiting for that call." He says happily to me, causing me to be both shocked and relieved.
He then reached behind me, undoing my hair clip and removing the hair tie, then placed them in my hand as my hair hung lose and wild.
"You look better with your hair like this instead of up." He whispered to me, moving a bit of hair behind my right ear before pecking my cheek.
He then went back to the craft, got Drakken to fly off as I was left there in stunned silence. I'm not sure how long I was there fore, but my phone ringing brought me back to reality.
"Go for Gogo." I answer after digging in my bag.
"Are you alright, Miss?" I heard Fin on the phone.
"Yes, I don't need a ride. I have a new one." I say as I looked back at my new car, smiling as my heart fluttered slightly.
^What is up with my heart? Why am I like this?^ I thought to myself, unsure of why I'm like this.
"Really?" I heard him ask.
"Yes, I'll show you two when I get back. Also, please get some vases with water ready." I tell him over the phone.
"Right away, Miss. Do you have any dinner preferences, tonight?" He asked me, causing me to think.
"I feel like eating a burger and curly fries with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise and fried jalapeños. You can surprise me on the type of cheese and bun for it, make the burger med well and a coke with no ice, please and thank you." I say as I got in my new car, gently admiring the beauty of it.
"Got it, see you upon arrival, Miss." I hear before a click.
I closed my phone before turning the car on, hearing Elvis' 'Burning Love' on the Radio. I noticed a small card on the radio, easy to remove, that went to the passenger seat where there was a small CD plater attached to the cord and an Elvis Presley CD on the seat, causing me to smile.
^He's a clever, sneaky romantic for a loudmouth brute.^ I thought, gently touching the cheek he kissed before driving off.
I was happy to have a new ride to my collection, but also happy because no man, nor boy, had ever once kissed my cheek. Even if for just a second, it felt nice. I mean, I've had my brothers kiss my forehead or cheek, but this was different.
Could this be a good thing?
Motor Ed's POV
I was happily smiling as Drew drove me to my base.
"What did she say?" He asked me, becoming curious.
"She said she'd let me know when she's ready, meaning I, like totally won her over. Now I just, seriously, gotta be patient and, like, wait." I tell him, my lips still tingling from kissing her soft cheek. My fingers tingled as well from touching her super soft hair.
"You're not mad?" He asked me.
"I'm, like, a little bummed, but she's, like, seriously totally perfect enough to where I can, like, totally wait for her." I tell him as I looked up at the sky, admiring how nice it looked today with the lovely starting sunset colors.
"Why did you whisper to her?" Drew asked me, which would, like, make me feel irritated, but I felt like I was on, like, could nine at this point. Seriously.
"Whenever I'm loud, she, like, defends herself or, like ya know, gets louder and/or harsher. I just, like seriously thought 'what if I'm quieter' and it, like, totally worked. She seemed to, like, relax more." I explained as I kept admiring the sky above.
^I, like, feel like I'm seriously in heaven.^ I thought happily to myself.
"Glad you're trying a different approach, but don't just one and done like you've done to others. She's like Shego, a special girl that can make you feel more levels of pain than anything." Drew warned me, causing me to chuckle.
"Nah cous, I like, really~ like her. Maybe even love her." I confessed to him, having not a care in the world.
"Be that as it may, just be careful." Drew warned me before we landed.
"Thanks for the ride, cous. I owe ya, seriously." I tell him with a smile, doing the finger gun point at him.
"Don't expect it often, but I'm glad to help." He said before starting to levitate. He then stopped before he turned to me.
"Listen, you might be the black sheep of the family, but you're still my family. The brother I never had and I want us to stay like that." He tells me, causing me to smile more, my lower lip quivered slightly from the brotherly love I felt.
"Thanks Drew, you're, like seriously, one cool dude." I say to him, causing him like to smile before he took off.
I was happy Drew and I were totally reconnecting, even if only like a small bit, before heading inside my lair.
^One step closer to stealing my subject's heart.^ I thought happily as I, like, took the lift down.
And that's the end of this chapter. What do you think? Could there be a love triangle going on? Is any of it a ploy? Who's a better match for our dear, lovely Gogo? Dare to guess? Dare to play the story out in your heads? Or play it safe and continue reading? The plot thickens, my dear readers. Perhaps next I will see you next crime?
