As Dipper made his way into the room he shared with Mabel, he saw two people he had never seen before, both of them being girls around his age. One was wearing a green onesie with a popsicle on it, had glasses on her face, and waist length black hair. Her name was Candy. The other had brown hair put up in a ponytail, and was wearing a pink onesie with a teddy bear on it. Her name was Grenda. "Candy, Grenda, this is my brother Dipper" said Mabel. "Nice to meet both of you" yawned Dipper. He then climbed into his bed. "I read about your back injury in the newspaper" said Candy. "Yeah, it's more painful then you think it is" said Dipper. Before anyone could say anything else, Dipper instantly fell asleep.

It was 3:00 AM, and all four of them were fast asleep. Dipper and Mabel were in their beds, while Candy and Grenda were in sleeping bags. As they were fast asleep, a rock broke through the bedroom window. Dipper, Mabel, and Grenda woke up after hearing the sound of glass shattering, and saw something horrifying. Candy was unconscious, with her forehead bleeding severely. Lots of blood was dripping onto the floor. "OH MY GOD, SHE'S DEAD!" shouted Dipper. "Wait, she's not dead, I can barely hear her breathing" said Grenda.

A few minutes later, everybody was standing outside the shack. Candy's parents showed up, completely horrified for their daughter. Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland had put up yellow tape on the front and back doors of the shack, while they were inside investigating what just happened. Candy's forehead was wrapped in bandages, and she was laying on hospital gurney, about to be put in a helicopter. Just as the helicopter was taking off with Candy and her parents, the two officers stepped out of the shack. "Once again, all we got is a rock, with no fingerprints" said Deputy Durland. "There is no way this is a coincidence, this has to be the same guy as last time" said Stanford.

The next day at the shack, Wendy wanted to speak to Dipper in private. "Dipper, I think I know who is throwing these rocks" said Wendy. "I used to date this guy named Mark Epstein, and he kind of had an unhealthy obsession with me." "I couldn't so much as stand next to another guy, without him threatening them with violence." "When I dumped him, he immediately assumed I was seeing someone else." "I think he found out that I have feelings for you, hence the reason he's throwing rocks at you." "Oh no, this is not good" said Dipper. "Even though I think you're a really nice person, this isn't going to work out." "I'm sorry but, if I stay here any longer, someone else could get seriously hurt." "It's best for everyone that I get as far away from your ex as possible, i'm going back to Piedmont."

The next day, Dipper and Mabel had their things packed, and were waiting at a bus stop. Mabel wasn't going to let Dipper go back alone, she couldn't bare spending that much time away from her brother. Stanford, Soos, and Wendy were going to see them off. "I'm really sorry, but I have to do this, I don't want anyone else to get hurt" said Dipper. "Maybe if that Epstein guy is put in jail, we can try again next summer." Wendy's face was now covered with her tears. In every single one of her break ups, she was the one to make the decision. She had never been dumped by a guy before. Soon the bus arrived, and as Wendy saw them pull away, she cried until they were out of sight.

Over the next few days, Wendy didn't smile once. She had finally found true love, and it was being taken away from her. All while this was happening, Candy was lying asleep in a hospital bed, suffering from a basilar skull fracture. It was still unknown wether or not she would make it out of this alive. Eventually, a holiday came around called pioneer day. The night before however, Blubs and Durland were rushing to a large manor. They were responding to a suicide call. Apparently, a 12 year old blonde girl asked the police to come to her house house, and shoot her.

Authors note: Holy sh*t this got dark. I did tell you guys that in the last chapter that there weren't going to be some very nice changes.

I'm no doctor, but an basilar skull fracture, is very difficult to survive.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
