With allies and enemies aplenty, he fights to reclaim his birthright and bring peace to the realm amidst treachery and destiny's call. Call of the North

Greetings, and welcome to my latest tale in the saga of Lord Liu Kang's New Era!

In this story, Call of the North, we venture to the dense forests and frigid mountain ranges in the north of Outworld. This is the epicenter of an ongoing civil war and the home of our story's protagonist. Shao Kahn, formerly General Shao, has amassed an army under his leadership comprised of the disaffected, loyalists, fugitive criminals and those unfortunates that found themselves captured, enslaved and forced to fight on their captors' behalf. The goal of this rebellion is to overthrow the royal family, now headed by Empress Mileena, and establish Shao as the ruler of Outworld. To combat this threat, Mileena has entrusted her sister Kitana with command of the royal legion, her aim is to unite the rest of Outworld behind her and her sister's cause and stamp out Shao's rebellion- easier said than done.

Soon, an enigmatic figure named Soren Ironheart, a drifter and huntsman with a storied lineage, finds himself dragged into this conflict.

This story contains elements evocative of ancient Norse/Viking, Anglo-Saxon and Germanic culture as well as Nietzschean philosophy and classical masculinity, all of which is embodied in the OC and his individual lore. Some may find this questionable at best, which I understand, but keep in mind that I do not condone or support White Nationalism/Supremacy or National Socialism, and this story nor the OC are meant to be an endorsement of such poisonous ideas in any way.

This story also contains scenes of extreme violence (bloody and gory battle scenes and such), a ritualistic death scene which may be too much for some readers, some instances of nudity, and a sex scene. Be forewarned of this content.
