I-Expo Tower (Night)
Dominic couldn't move. All Might was being strangled by Wolfram, but he couldn't see or hear any of it. The boy just fell to his knees and looked down at his hands.
'Even with Eternamax Eternatus, I couldn't do anything.' he told himself. 'Just like Present Mic, just like Nomu, and just like Midnight.' Every failure since the Pokemon Trainer came to this world. They should've been easy to beat, but with his powers diminished from whatever the hell brought him here, he was back to how he was when he first discovered his unique abilities. He hated it.
He hated the feeling of being powerless. He hated the thought that there was even one person out there who could surpass him. He HATED the world for forcing him to relive the awful feeling of total hopelessness. But at this moment, the one he hated most was Wolfram. How dare he look down on him! How dare he hurt his friends! How dare he mock him like this!
Standing up, Dominic's sclera turned black, leaving his blood red eye alone in the void. He gathered what was left of his magic and channeled it into his weapon, a jagged blade made out of Traptanium. He looked up at Wolfram, who had just crushed All Might with several boulders of metal before stabbing it, and jumped. Midoriya apparently had the same idea, as he was speeding through the air just like his classmate.
Dominic raised his blade and swung downwards while Midoriya used a Detroit Smash on the cluster of boulders. Their combined efforts shattered the rock, freeing All Might and sending shrapnel flying in every direction. Midoriya and Dominic would've been crushed by falling debris, but All Might shielded them with his body.
"Young Midoriya, young Xiao-Long." he said, worried. "Your Quirks aren't enough to stop him! You're being too reckless!"
"So were you." Dominic said coldly, his voice distorted. Black fluid spilled from his wounds before they closed.
"Besides, it's a hero's job to help those in need, right?" Midoriya said, blood running down his face.
"You both make good points." All Might laughed. "Without you two, I don't think I'll be able to win. Will you lend me your aid?"
"His only weak point is his real body." Dominic said, gazing up at the monstrosity. "Eternatus did most of the heavy lifting. All we need to do is rescue the professor, then we can resume our attack."
"Then that's what we'll do." Midoriya said, determined.
"Let's-a-go." Dominic said, grinning viciously as he ran towards his titanic opponent, blade in hand. With as much power as he could, he fired off a barrage of Sword Beams. Wolfram created metal structures to block them, but they only barely remained standing, burning slash marks carved into the steel. Another metal tendril shot forth to impale the boy, but was swiftly cut in half by his weapon.
'I've never seen him battle like this before.' Midoriya thought as he weaved through Wolfram's defenses. 'It's like he's completely lost control.'
Boulders of steel rained down once again. Dominic's glare hardened as he stared them down. Just as he started preparing another attack, a familiar hexagonal shield prevented the boulders from landing.
"Don't worry, Champion!" Leon said. His Aegislash's King's Shield was responsible for the boulders stopping.
"We'll back you up!" Marnie added as her Moltres used Fiery Wrath to get rid of the tendrils.
Dominic smiled at his friends before turning his attention back to the battle. "Time to kick things into high gear." he said with a manic grin, stabbing his blade into the ground. The steel beneath him began to glow bright red before detonating, sending him flying into the air while also removing viable ammo for his opponent. He saw Midoriya and All Might preparing a joint attack. He almost didn't notice they were both there because of how similar their Auras were. Actually, they were near identical.
Saving that thought for another time, Dominic used Inverted Integrity to launch himself towards his classmate, then slowed his descent with Inverted Kindness. In seconds, he was running alongside Midoriya. Looking up, the two of them and All Might saw Wolfram preparing a last resort attack, forming a gigantic cube of steel powerful enough to crush the entire tower.
All Might pulled back his fist, One For All surging through his body.
Midoriya used the brace Melissa gave him to supercharge his punch, covering his arm in a golden aura as One For All concentrated in his fist.
Dominic let HATE flood into his sword, darkening its bright red hue as the full power of his soul was being used to fuel this last strike.
"DOUBLE DETROIT SMASH!" All Might and Midoriya both punched the cube with everything they had, denting the gigantic bullet as it descended on them. But Wolfram's resolve triumphed over even their combined might.
"DEATH-ROW BLAST: PUBLIC EXECUTION!" Dominic screamed, tripling the size of his sword before firing a Sword Beam. The size and heat of the attack cleaved through the cube seamlessly before hitting Wolfram directly, causing an explosion that nearly sunk the island.
His task done, the boy's HATE subsided, and the reality of the situation finally hit him. He didn't dodge any of Wolfram's attacks. His entire body was riddled with stab wounds, and his final attack shattered his right leg and broke off part of his face. Exhausted, he fell to the ground, crashing into the roof and splattering magma everywhere.
"Dominic!" Leon said, riding Charizard to where the blonde fell. "Are you okay?"
"Remind me to never use that attack again unless I feel like breaking all my bones." Dominic said, coughing up magma.
"I thought you didn't have bones." Marnie said, walking up to her rival.
"Hardy har har." Dominic said mockingly. "Now, can someone please help me OFF THIS DAMN ISLAND!?" he screamed.
After some time spent healing, Dominic said farewell to his Galarian friends. Rose and Leon gave him a Dynamax Band imbued with Eternatus' power, so it could work anywhere. He and Marnie had one last battle, which he won, and he went back to Japan with his classmates. After getting settled with the airport, he went straight home.
Xiao-Long Temporary Household (Morning)
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY HOUSE!?" Dominic yelled. The house he worked so hard to refurnish was in ruins, everything except the front gate completely demolished. Standing in what used to be the main entrance was Amara, Shinso, and Eri, joined by Spiritomb, Hypno, Zoroark, and Indeedee.
