If I had to be completely honest, the village was underwhelming. Being someone who came from a world of skyscrapers, I felt like this would be what it would feel like if I went back in time.

No one paid me any attention, which I was grateful for. Or it could just be because I was hiding but I'd like to think that I wasn't all that eye-catching being practically naked and all that.

'Now if only I could find a place to sleep.' I frowned as I looked around. It didn't seem like today was going to be an enjoyable day.

'I hope I don't die of starvation.' I cringed.

"Hello there." I felt the hairs on my neck stand up as I spun around, claws at the ready and fangs showing.

Oh, did I forget to mention I had claws and fangs now? No? Well, now you know.

A man with silver hair that seemed to defy gravity had his hands up in the universal 'I mean you no harm' sign. 'Yeah, sure buddy.' A memory flickered in the back of my mind as I stared at the giant man. 'Was I that small?'

"It's alright." He chuckled at my growl as if I weren't in the least bit threatening. Which was insulting. "Where are your parents?"

I seriously needed to remember how to act like a proper human again. I felt like he was the predator even though I knew that lions are above humans in the food chain.

"Kakashi-Sensei! What are waiting for?!" I chanced a glance at a boy who was impatiently tapping his foot at the man's back. Next to him were two others. A Pinkett and a Raven head.

Something clicked and I felt dumb for not recognizing Kakashi Hatake, the copy ninja. So that means this is Konoha. 'How the hell?!'

I stared at the three genin's my eyes lingering on Naruto. He was here, he was real and there was a possibility of us being related. My eyes swung back to Kakashi as an idea suddenly came to me. I had no clue how I could make it on my own in a human establishment or how to get close to my favorite without being suspicious but if I had a guardian...

Granted Kakashi wasn't guardian material and he smelled like dogs but if I adopted him then he had no way of getting rid of me and I could just rub my scent into his. I smirked inwardly. This day wasn't so bad after all.

I took the time to memorize his chakra and scent as he turned to his students. There was no way I was missing this opportunity.

"I'll be right there, my cute genin." I straightened my back as he faced me again. "Go home and get some clothes on okay, kid?"

I nodded politely and he gave me a smile with his eyes as he left. 'It was a good thing I know how to hide my chakra.'

I quietly stalked them to what looked to be Ichiraku's.

Time passed as I waited for them to finish eating. My stomach growled but I could wait until Kakashi went home to worry about that. I knew he knew I was there. I had no illusions of being able to hide from a Jonin.

'Finally!' I sighed with relief as they said their goodbyes. Kakashi disappeared quickly. I lost track of him for a second but luckily caught his trail.

I followed his chakra and came upon an apartment that had his scent. I didn't try to enter though, afraid of any traps he may or may not have installed. 'Fanfiction has taught me to never try and enter his house.'

"Why are you following me, little one?" I twitched. I was still surprised at his presence even though I had felt his chakra behind me this time.

I tried my best puppy dog eyes as I lifted my hands up to him. "Papa."

He stared, I stared, he stared, I stared.

"...I didn't know my nonexistent one-night stand gave birth to a child." He hummed in thought.

For good measure, I did the grabby hands as I pouted. "Papa."

He sighed, with a hand running down his face. "You're kidding me, right?"

I made the purring noise I had learned from Mother and Father. Surely this would work.

He gave me an amused look. "Do you come with the ears and tail too?"

With a quick animal transformation, I now had the lion ears and the tail to match. 'There's no way I'll be rejected now!'

If he was surprised by my knowledge and use of chakra, then he didn't show it.

"What parent just let you roam about wearing a bush as clothes?" He sighed as he motioned me to follow. "Come on then."

I purred louder to show my appreciation.

He fed me and clothed me, all while asking me where I came from.

"My human mother abandoned me in the forest to be eaten by wild animals. I was taken in by a lioness and her mate. I've lived with them for years now." I ate as I spoke. "They left and now I'm alone."

"So, you were basically raised by lions." I nodded proudly.

"You smell like dogs but it's okay, I like dogs too." I looked him square in the eye. "So now you'll be my human father."

Suddenly I was in the air by my armpits. I frowned, 'this was too easy.'

Next thing I know I'm left in front of a building that looked like an orphanage.

"...Okay, that didn't work. Next plan, I guess." If he thought, he was getting rid of me that easily he had another thing coming.

For the next few days, I stalked him on team seven's missions while training myself in stealth. The three others on the team started noticing me as I had gotten tired of hiding. He knew I was there from day one anyway.

"Sensei, who is the brat?" I stiffened as Naruto spoke, feeling a bit nervous.

I knew I was in Naruto and that he was real now but I still needed time to adjust to the thought.

Stupid. I know. After all the time I had spent following them around.

I felt tingles run down my spine as I looked at the boy with whom I shared a familial connection.

"Big brother!" I flung my smaller body against him, waiting to see his reaction. I felt his entire body go rigid as I Sakura splutter.

"You have a brother Naruto?!" I ignored Sakura as I squeezed his middle rubbing my face into his chest to scent him.

I entangled my chakra with his ignoring the little bit mixed in with the Kyuubi's.

"Uh, I-I don't know you, kid..." The confusion was clear as day. I stared up at him with my silver eyes.

Our stare down was interrupted by Kakashi who lifted me as before but before he could let me go, I latched on with my chakra. He was never getting away this time. "Papa!"

He gave me the most incredulous look I had ever received. "I am not your father, kid."

"You are now!" I could feel him trying to move me, but I wasn't budging.

"Who teaches a toddler how to use chakra?!" I gave a chuckle. There was no way he was getting rid of me... without hurting me that is.

"I'll be right back, my cute genin." There were sounds of disbelief before we were suddenly in someone's office.

"Nice to see you, Kakashi. A warning would have been warranted though." There was the smell of tobacco. ugh, I hated it. My nose scrunched up in disgust.

I turned slightly to see Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage. His eyes flickered to my position, and I recognized the amusement in his eyes as he spoke. "And who might you be?"

"Ariel." I pouted as Kakashi tried to pry my hands off again. An idea, whether a good one or bad, came to me. I called upon my Adamantine chains to wrap around his torso which held him in place. 'I never mentioned having them did I. Well, thinking I had a relation to the Uzumaki I found a way to prove it and that was the Adamantine chains.'

A surprised sound came from the two and I smirked slightly. Identity, check. If they had any questions about my origin, I just answered them.

"An Uzumaki then." Kakashi sighed as the Hokage chuckled. I'm sure it was a sight to see a child clinging to the notorious friend killer, Kakashi Hatake.

"It seems you've just been adopted Kakashi." I held in my laughter as I felt his shoulders drop in defeat. I couldn't see the look Hiruzen was giving Kakashi though.

"Sir," Kakashi let out a resigned sigh.

Thinking, 'No way Kakashi's ditching me now,' I let my chains fade away. A reassuring pat on my back prompted me to release my hold, only for me to be dropped as he vanished without a trace.

I felt stomped.

I fell for it.

Turning to the snickering old man with fake tears in my eyes I sniffled. He cursed as I let out a full-blown wail.

Let's just say he set the ANBU on Kakashi who was dragged back to the Hokage's tower.

"So... He's your son?" Two sets of curious eyes and one annoyed stared at my sniffling form in Kakashi's arms.

"I'll be his guardian from now on. Since he's like you Naruto why don't you get to know him." Naruto gave me a look of understanding.

"Hungry." There was no response. I sniffled then suddenly there was a dango in my mouth. I chewed happily.

"Troublesome." I couldn't help but giggle as Kakashi grumbled. We were in the trees observing as team seven tracked Tora down. It was funny yet I shivered at the thought of having to do it myself.

"So, where did you learn how to use chakra?" I smiled sadly as I thought of Father and Mother.

"Father and Mother are summons." I knew he would understand what I meant without me having to give an explanation. Their leaving was painful though I could summon them.
