Yusei Fudo, after having defeated Z-one and stopped the Divine Temple, thought his journey was over. However, he was sent to another world by the Crimson Dragon to stop a mad scientist and a powerful evil. Yusei will form new bonds, take on a student and will become a hero in his journey in the Four Dimensions to stop Leo Akaba and Z-arc's revival. Yusei X Akiza and Yuya X Lulu.

4. Chapter 4

Hey everyone, sorry it took a bit longer than usual for the update, but I was working on my other chapters of my Synchro Pendulum story and just have two left before I continued where I left off and I've got the whole new chapter planned. Thanks for all those who answered my questions from last chapter and giving suggestions for my two stories.

Now I've come up with another idea before we reached the start of Arc-V. In the last chapter before we reached the chapter where Arc-V started I plan for Yusei to duel the Sledgehammer for Yusho and defeat him, but its like Yuya's duel against him and he won't become the new champion. I'm still thinking on plans, but I'll come up with some more later. For now I'll answer some reviews. I was also thinking of Yuya unlocking Pendulum Summoning in his duel against Yusei instead of the Sledgehammer.

Guest: Akiza will come in before the Arc League Championships and maybe she and Yusei will learn the other Summon methods. Also I might pair Yuto with Zuzu.

Avalon gx: I understand your mess up and yes Yusei will mentor Lulu in Synchro Summoning. And no, Yusei and Yoko won't duel on their bikes. Yusei will trust Lulu on who she dates and won't have a problem if its Yuya because he's gonna be his teacher eventually. Yusei will teach everyone except Zuzu Synchro Summoning because she at first doesn't like him.

Utopy: Yusei will keep Lulu with her fear of Fusion Summoning, plus teach it to her. And thanks for the cards.

BladeKnightmare: I can't do that, but I can bring more Zexal characters into the story.

Synchro Fan: I understand your annoyance the plot and I'm sorry for chapter 3 not being exciting as the last one. Also I just like opening and ending songs so I do it, please understand. In this chapter you'll find out what happened between Lulu and Yuto and I hope you don't hate how I did it. I'll bring back some of the characters you mentioned, but I'm still thinking about it. About the Thunder Dragons, I really liked them and wanted to use them. Finally Rin and Yugo will get together, she just one of those tough love girls.

That's all the answers for today, but I've got some news. World of Warcraft Shadowlands is coming out on October 28 and when that happens, I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of it, so don't expect an update from me for a while. But I'll do what I can to update my stories before then. Now please enjoy the chapter because this is the last chapter in the Fusion Dimension before Yusei and the girls go to the Standard Dimension.

Chapter 4: A new hope for the Fusion Dimension.

The sun shined high in the sky, bringing another day for the Fusion Dimension and its people. But things weren't as peaceful as it seemed, because this was the calm before the storm moment. Back at Duel Academy Island, things weren't peaceful.

Inside a throne room of some sorts, Leo Akaba sat on his chair, glaring down at the kneeling forms of Diana and Apollo, who had their heads down, too ashamed to look at the Professor. Leo Akaba was a middle-aged tan-skinned bald man with light blue eyes. He wore a purple colored militaristic outfit with several black buttons, a purple cape with a black ending, and a pair of gray boots. He also had a black belt with a red line which both ends in a button on the front, and what appeared to be red circular strings across his chest with a pair of black gloves on his hands. His most noticeable traits are the armored plate at the left side of his head with what appears to be a red circular lens, and pronounced blood vessels on the top of his head.

One could tell by the look on Leo Akaba's face was that he was clearly ticked off, extremely. His academy's software was fried, the Interdimensional Travel Technology was badly damaged and would take a few weeks to repair and most of all, he has lost the two pieces of his beloved daughter. Leo Akaba was normally a calm person, but everything that has happened has pushed his buttons beyond the point of calming down.

Right now, he was looking down at Diana and Apollo, extremely disappointed in them for failing their sacred duties that he trusted them with. And the worse of all, he doesn't even know who's the one responsible for it all. So, to get the answers he needed, he was questioning the two failed guardians, willing to card them if needed. However he did took some solace knowing that Celina wasn't taken away with Lulu and Rin by the unknown intruder.

"I trusted you two to guard those two no matter what and you failed!" Leo yelled out at the two guardians in rage, getting them to flinch at hearing the rage in his voice. "If you don't tell me who is responsible for all this, I'll turn the both of you into cards at this moment!" The Professor threatened the two with his eyes dangerously narrowed, getting Apollo and Diana to began shake in fear.

"We-we don't know Professor". Diana began with her voice full of fear for the fate of her and Apollo. "It-it was an unknown man that looked to be around 19-years-old. He rode on what appeared to be a red motorcycle and used Synchro Monsters". Apollo continued on for Diana, getting Leo to raise an eyebrow at them.

'A red motorcycle and Synchro Monsters? Do they mean a Duel Runner? And Synchro Monsters? Could this intruder be from the Synchro Dimension?' Leo thought to himself as he held his chin with his right hand, thinking of as many possibilities he can think of. "He had black hair and royal blue eyes and wore a blue jacket. He had a Synchro Dimension Duel Disk and a yellow mark on his face". Diana continued, making Leo come to an assumption. 'This intruder must be from the Synchro Dimension, but how did he come here to the Fusion Dimension'. The Professor of Duel Academy thought to himself, before he stood up from his chair.

"Thank you for the information, here's your reward". Leo said as he brought out his Duel Disk and placed it on his left arm, making Diana and Apollo widen their eyes in horror. "But Professor…!" Diana called out in horror at what was about to happen to her. "Y-you said if we told you who it was, you'd spare us!" Apollo exclaimed in horror, having believed that Leo would spare him and Diana.

"I lied". Leo stated as a bright purple light came out of his Duel Disk and engulfed Diana and Apollo with the two screaming out in horror. The two were covered in a purple light as they transformed into two cards that floated down to the ground with the image showing their terrified looks. Leo looked down at the two cards without a hint of regret for what he did. "You can only assist me by fueling the Arc-V Reactor now". Leo said to the two carded guardians as he sat back down on his throne.

The doors to the throne room opened and in came Leo Akaba's elite soldier, the one who kidnapped Lulu and Rin and Z-arc's Fusion piece, Yuri, who had a creepy smirk on his face. "You called for me, Professor!" Yuri called out with a grin on his face, getting Leo Akaba to look at him and use all his strength not to glare at him. "Yes I did Yuri". Leo said as Yuri stopped in front of him, before he took notice of the carded Diana and Apollo on the floor.

"My, I never thought you'd personally card these two. What did they do that ticked you off so badly?" Yuri asked with a smirk on his face as he looked back up at the Professor, personally not caring that Leo carded Diana and Apollo. "First, are you aware of the damage we've recently sustained?" Leo asked the Fusion Piece of Z-arc, who frowned but nodded. "Yes I have, and I'm not happy about it. Now I can't go back to the Xyz Dimension and enjoy the hunt again". Yuri replied to the Professor of Duel Academy, shaking his head in disappointment.

"Yes, it is an unfortunate turn of events. However, the intruder that caused all this has also taken Lulu and Rin". Leo revealed to Yuri, who narrowed his eyes even more. "Well that's just fantastic. So basically all my hard work went down the drain, is that it?" Yuri questioned with a frown, which the Professor nodded to him. "Indeed". Leo answered, making Yuri grit his teeth in frustration.

"Despite the damage, we haven't picked up any trace of Interdimensional energy, meaning they haven't left the Fusion Dimension yet. I want you to track this man down and bring back those two girls immediately! Use any means necessary!" Leo told Yuri, who grew a devilish smirk on his face. "It'll be my genuine pleasure dear Professor". Yuri replied to Leo as he turned around and walked out of the throne room.

Leo Akaba stared at where he last saw Yuri, before he looked over his shoulder to look at the Arc-V Reactor behind him. 'Ray, we will be together again someday and everything will be as it's meant to be'. Leo thought to himself, too obsessed with getting his daughter back to see the wrongs in his actions.

"AT THE EDGE OF THE DARKNESS, TEARING APART THE SILENCE"

The sky was dark as ocean waves were rolling off each other, before suddenly three Ancient Gear Reactor Dragons appeared and cut through the water, flying towards Duel Academy. They flew over the court of Duel Academy, where students were lined up, looking up at Aster Phoenix, who was looking down at them from a bench with the Tyler Sisters behind him.

"WHO IS THE ONE WAKING THE EARTH FROM ITS SLEEP?!"

In his office, Jean-Michel Roget was sitting at his desk, toying around with his chess pieces with a smug look on his face as he watched Sector Security arrest a man on a screen.

"BEFORE YOUR EYES ARE WICKED SOULS"

In his throne room, Leo Akaba stood up from his throne with Yuri and Zane Truesdale at his sides. Leo thrust out his right hand to the side at the army of Obelisk Force in front of him, which the army cheered for him and for Duel Academy. Leo turned around to face the Arc-V reactor behind him as he saw an image of Ray.

"THERE'S NOWHERE TO RUN, FACE THEM STRAIGHT ON!"

In the Standard Dimension, standing in front of the Leo Corporation tower was Yuya, Celina, Declan and Zuzu, all with narrowed eyes. They activated their Duel Disks as they summoned their ace monsters, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Saffira, Queen of Dragons, Lunalight Cat Dancer and D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga, before all three monsters fired blasts.

"SOMEONE TELLS ME TO ERASE MY "WEAKNESS" OR "FEAR"

In the Synchro Dimension on a Turbo Duel lane, Yugo and Rin rode their separate Duel Runners besides each other, before Arc-v Jack Atlast joined them on his Duel Runner. They all summoned their ace monsters; Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Windwitch – Winter Bell and Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend. The three monsters flew besides their Duelist as they continued riding.

"WE RECONSTRUCT OUR MINDS"

In the Xyz Dimension, Yuto appeared with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon behind him, before they moved aside to reveal Lulu with her ace, Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale. The two moved aside to reveal Shay, who had his arms crossed, his scarf and sunglasses covering his face. His ace, Raidraptor – Rise Falcon appeared behind him, creating a gale that blew Shay's glasses off, revealing his hate filled eyes.

"TIGHTLY HOLD ONTO THAT HAND"

In the middle of a desert field road, Yusei spun his Duel Runner around twice before stopping in a sideways position. Yusei gave off one of his famous glares as he held up his right arm as his mark of the Crimson Dragon glowed.

"BELIEVE IN THE BONDS BETWEEN EACH OTHER"

In a multi-colored background, Yuya, Celina, Zuzu, Declan appeared in a stance with their ace monsters behind them. In a green background Yugo, Rin and Jack appeared, riding their Duel Runners with their ace monsters flying above them. In a black background Yuto, Lulu and Shay appeared in a combat stance with their ace monsters behind them. Yusei held up a white card with his right hand as a portal appeared behind him. Yusei's ace, Stardust Dragon flew out of the portal and roared.

"AND FIGHT!"

In a gold void, Ray clapped her hands together as if she was praying. Above her, the Crimson Dragon appeared and roared.

"TRANSFORM!"

"SO ALL I CAN DO"

In the Standard Dimension, Yuri smirked evilly as he activated his Duel Disk before he summon Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. Yuya stood a few feet away from his fusion counterpart with Odd-Eyes besides him, before the two dragons fired breath attacks at each other, creating a bright light.

"AND ALL YOU CAN DO"

The bright light died down to reveal the Xyz Dimension, where Yuto was battling against Zane with the two running across the streets. Both Duelists had their Duel Disks activated as they summoned their ace monsters. Zane summoned Cyber End Dragon, while Yuto summoned Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. Cyber End Dragon fired three separate blasts from its three heads at Dark Rebellion, which the dragon charged with lightning surging through its fangs. Dark Rebellion made contact with Cyber End Dragon's attack, creating a bright light.

"FLAP YOUR WINGS! TRANSFORM"

The light disappeared to reveal the Synchro Dimension, where Sergey and Jack were Turbo Dueling aboard their Duel Runners. Sergey laughed crazily as Earthbound Servant Geo Grasha appeared above him with a dark aura. Jack narrowed his eyes as Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend appeared above him, before the dragon was surrounded in a crimson sphere. The sphere dispersed, creating a bright light.

"CHANGE THAT PIERCING RAGE IN YOUR HEART INTO POWER"

The light cleared to reveal the Synchro Dimension. In Duel Academy's courtyard, both Shay and Lulu were Dueling the Tyler Sisters. Grace and Gloria had Amazoness Pet Liger and Amazoness Empress on their field, while Shay and Lulu had Raidraptor – Rise Falcon and Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale on their field. The Obsidian twins held up their right arms as their ace monsters were covered in bright lights.

In Leo Akaba's throne room, the professor of Duel Academy was Dueling his son. Leo had Master Spirit Tech Force - Pendulum Ruler while Declan had D/D/D Flame King Genghis, Gust King Alexander, Wave King Caesar and Doom King Armageddon on his field. The five monsters fired beams at each other, creating a burst of power.

"TRANSFORM!"

"NOW ALL I CAN DO"

Outside with the sky red, Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, Supreme King Dark Rebellion, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing and Supreme King Starving Venom all appeared.

"AND ALL YOU CAN DO"

Darkness appeared behind the four dragons, before it was blown away to reveal Supreme King Z-arc, with the giant dragon roaring.

"SHINE ON! TRANSFORM!"

A black skin Z-arc on the dragon's head laughed as the dragon unleashed a blast from its mouth. Standing at the ground facing the direction of Supreme King Z-arc was Shay, Jack, Declan, Leo, Aster, Zane, Yuya, Yuri, Yugo, Yuto, Rin, Lulu, Zuzu, Celina and the Tyler Sisters with their Duel Disks activated. Supreme King Z-arc's attack stroke the ground, creating an explosion that blew them all away. Dust covered everything from view for a second before it cleared to reveal Yusei, who was holding back Supreme King Z-arc's attack with his right hand up with his mark blocking the attack.

"ON TO THE NEXT STAGE IN EVOLUTION"

Yusei gritted his teeth before he thrust his right arm out to the side, dispersing the attack. Above Yusei, the Crimson Dragon appeared as it roared, before it turned into flames.

"TOUCH AND GO!"

The flames transferred over to Yusei, forming armor that looked like the Crimson Dragon over Yusei, with even wings and a tail. Yusei narrowed his eyes as he spread his wings and took flight towards Supreme King Z-arc, creating a bright light when he made contact.

When the light cleared, it revealed Yusei, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Rin, Celina, Lulu, Zuzu, Declan, Aster and Shay back in the Standard Dimension in the stadium. All the Duelists were smiling with Yugo jumping in the air with his right hand thrust out to the sky, while Lulu, Rin and Celina were hugging Yusei, who smiled at the three girls as he returned the hug.

Yusei silently opened his eyes and saw the underneath of the bed above him, before he looked down and saw that Lulu and Rin were still sleeping peacefully. Seeing the gentle looks on their faces made Yusei smile. As much as he enjoyed seeing the sleeping looks of peace on their faces, Yusei had to get up and start preparing for their departure of the Fusion Dimension.

Yusei slowly let go of the girls, but the two kept their hold on him. Yusei tried to gently get them to let go, but their grip on him was surprisingly tight. "These two don't seem willing to let go of me anytime soon". Yusei remarked with slight surprise on his face. 'That just means they really feel safe with you'. A familiar voice said before Stardust Dragon appeared in spirit form next to the bed the three humans were lying down on.

"Hey Stardust Dragon". Yusei greeted his ace Synchro Monster, turning to face him. 'I'm impressed you managed to rescue these two in such a short time, though they and you are still in danger as long as you remain in this dimension'. Stardust said to his Duelist, pleased that Yusei accomplish his goal here in the Fusion Dimension.

"I know that, I better find a way to get out of this dimension and fast". Yusei said in agreement, knowing that Leo Akaba will do whatever it takes to capture Lulu and Rin again. 'Perhaps you should check your new Duel Disk. My lord told us that he upgraded it, so maybe he installed Interdimensional Travel Technology as well'. Stardust suggested to his Duelist, getting him to slightly widen his eyes.

"Maybe, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the help Stardust". The 19-year-old thanked his ace, making sure to check his Duel Disk later. 'It was my pleasure Yusei. Remember if you need my help, I'll always answer the call'. The Synchro Monster told his Duelist before he disappeared, leaving Yusei alone with Lulu and Rin.

Yusei could do nothing, but watch Lulu and Rin for the next 5 minutes, before the two girls began to wake up. Lulu and Rin looked up to see Yusei, who gave the two a smile. "Good morning you two, did you have pleasant dreams?" Yusei greeted the two girls, who slowly got up from their position on his chest.

"I did actually; it's been some time since I slept as peacefully as that". Lulu answered the Shooting Star of Satellite, looking a bit embarrassed that she fell asleep on Yusei's chest. "I've never slept as comfortable as I did last night either". Rin commented, having enjoyed the gentle feeling Yusei gave to her when she was sleeping.

Both Lulu and Rin got off the bed, allowing Yusei off as well. "That's good to hear. We've got a lot to do today and getting out of the Fusion Dimension is one of them". Yusei told the two girls, receiving a nod from Lulu, but a confused look from Rin. "About that, I still have no idea what you're talking about. What do you mean by dimension?" Rin questioned Yusei, still clueless about the Four Dimensions.

Yusei looked at Rin and saw that she had indeed no idea what he's talking about. "Rin, this world that we're in is known as the Fusion Dimension. There are four dimensions in the world called the Fusion Dimension, Synchro Dimension, Xyz Dimension and Standard Dimension. Each one has its own Summoning method, the Fusion Dimension has Fusion Summoning, Synchro has Synchro Summoning and Xyz has Xyz Summoning. But the Standard Dimension doesn't have its own Summoning method and instead has Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Summoning". Yusei began to explain to the green haired girl, who looked like she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"We're currently in the Fusion Dimension, which is ruled by a man named Leo Akaba. He's mission is to unite the four dimensions into one, and to do that, he needs the life force of people he turns into cards, that is why he invaded the Xyz Dimension. However, unknown to the people of the Fusion Dimension is that that's just a farce". Yusei continued, now getting Lulu to widen her eyes.

"A farce? Are you saying you know Leo Akaba's true reason for what he's done?" Lulu questioned the 19-year-old male, who nodded to her. "Yes I do. Leo Akaba's true ambition is to bring his daughter back to life". Yusei revealed to the two girls, making both Lulu and Rin widen their eyes in disbelief. "No way, he has a daughter?!" Rin exclaimed in surprise, having never expected this.

"There's more, for example the four dimensions used to be one united world". Yusei revealed to the two females, increasing their disbelief. "The United World was unlike what the Four Dimensions are like. Like Standard, it has all the Summoning methods. To further understand this, you need to see it yourselves". Yusei continued as he held up his right hand as his mark of the Crimson Dragon glowed.

Both Lulu and Rin widened their eyes in surprise, but before they could say anything, a bright light came out of Yusei's mark, forcing them both to close their eyes. The light remained for a few seconds, before it died down, allowing Lulu and Rin to open their eyes, before they gasped in surprise.

All three of them were in the white void that Yusei has taken Yusho, Alexis and Blair to before. "…Wow, there's…a lot of white here". Rin commented as she looked around, pointing out that the void was white. "Where are we?" Lulu asked Yusei, thinking that he knew where they were. "I've taken us somewhere that'll help me explain everything, but first I need some help from a friend". Yusei answered Lulu, getting her and Rin to look a bit confused on who he's talking about.

A bright light appeared above them, getting Yusei, Lulu and Rin to look above as the light cleared to reveal the Crimson Dragon. Yusei smiled at the embodiment of the Dragon Star, while both girls looked terrified, which the Shooting Star of Satellite took notice of as he tried to calm them down. "It's alright you two; the Crimson Dragon won't hurt you". Yusei reassured the two girls, getting them to look at him.

"What makes you say that?" Rin questioned the 19-year-old male with a look of fear on her face. "The Crimson Dragon is the reason that I was able to come to the Fusion Dimension and save you two". Yusei revealed, getting the girls to lose their looks of fear. "That thing is how you came to the Fusion Dimension?" Lulu asked Yusei, getting the Crimson Dragon to narrow his eyes a bit. 'I am right here and I would appreciate not being classified as a thing, thank you very much'. The dragon told the purple haired girl, making her widen her eyes in surprise, before she bowed her head in apology.

"I-I'm sorry, it's just that I thought…" Lulu began to apologize, but the Crimson Dragon cut her off. 'It is alright young one. I just ask you don't classify me as a thing again'. The Crimson Dragon requested from Lulu, who nodded to him. "I promise". Lulu told the dragon, who looked pleased as he turned to face his chosen Signer. 'You've done well to rescue these two from Leo Akaba, Yusei. However, are you certain that they should learn the truth?' The Crimson Dragon questioned his Signer if he was certain about this, which Yusei nodded to him.

"They deserve to know the truth about the four dimensions and about themselves. If Leo Akaba will continue to chase them, then they should know why". The Shooting Star of Satellite replied to the embodiment of the Dragon Star, who was silent for a few moments before he nodded to him. 'I understand Yusei; I will show them what I've shown you'. The Crimson Dragon said as the entire area changed, revealing them all floating in the sky above the United World's city, getting Rin and Lulu to widen their eyes.

"Now where are we?" Rin questioned as she looked down at the futuristic city below them. "The Crimson Dragon is allowing us to look into the past of the United World and how it was destroyed". Yusei began to explain to the two girls, getting Lulu to widen her eyes as she looked at him. "It was destroyed?! But how did that happen?" Lulu asked Yusei how the United World was destroyed.

"You'll learn soon, but first you need to learn a few things. One of them is that Leo Akaba was apart of this world". Yusei told the 14-year-old girl as the scenery around them changed to reveal that they were in Leo Akaba's lab, where they saw Leo Akaba doing research on Hazy Flame Sphynx. 'Leo Akaba used to be a scientist here in the United World, searching for ways to advance a system called the Arc System'. The Crimson Dragon began to explain as both Lulu and Rin looked up at him.

"He found the answer in Duel Monsters, but he discovered something. Leo Akaba discovered that Duel Monsters had spirits as humans did, and that was where he found his solution. The Arc System granted Duel Monsters real bodies in that world. The only problem is that the United World had no knowledge of Duel Spirits, so he dismissed his discovery. And like that, a new era of Dueling began". Yusei told the two females as the scenery around them changed to a stadium.

Lulu and Rin watched in awe as Duelists dueled alongside their monsters, which were granted real life bodies with crowds of people cheering for them in excitement. 'As the creator of this new era of Dueling, Leo was worshipped by the people of the United World. However, one day that all changed'. The Crimson Dragon said with a glare as the scenery changed in a way.

They were still in a stadium, but there was a Duel happening. The three humans watched as a red dragon smacked Ignition Beast Volcannon into his duelist. However, one of the spikes of the monster had stabbed the Duelist, making Lulu gasp in horror with her hands over her face, while Rin widened her eyes in disbelief. The stadium was silent as the audience was in shock, before it was broken. Slowly, the crowd applauded, not caring about the injured Duelist. Lulu and Rin looked shocked that the crowd was cheering for such violence.

"What the heck is wrong with these people?! How could they be cheering for something like this?!" Rin questioned in disgust at seeing the people of the United World cheer for something like this. "This is wrong. Teacher always said Dueling is about keeping the world entertained and smiling. It should make people happy, brings smiles to kids' faces and hope for their futures. This is all wrong; Dueling isn't meant to bring pain to people". Lulu said as she looked away from the scene, getting Yusei to look at her in concern.

Yusei walked up next to Lulu and placed his left hand on her left shoulder, before he brought her into a one armed hug. Lulu buried her face in Yusei's shirt, not wanting to see this anymore. "You don't need to see anymore of this. If you want, I'll stop this right now". Yusei offered to the young teenager, who shook her head as she stepped away from him. "No, I'll see this through to the end". The purple haired girl told Yusei as she continued to watch the events.

'Now, look at the injured Duelist's opponent'. The Crimson Dragon told Lulu and Rin, getting the girls curious as they looked at Z-arc, before they widened their eyes when they saw his face. "Yuto!" Lulu called out in surprise, her mind thinking of her friend. "Is that Yugo?" Rin questioned in surprise, thinking Z-arc was her childhood friend.

"You're both wrong, that's Z-arc, the one who will destroy the United World". Yusei told the two 14-year-old girls, getting them to widen their eyes. "Z-arc had the ability to communicate with Duel Spirits, something that's rare. At first he wanted to bring joy to people through Dueling. However, after this Duel, everything went crazy". Yusei told the two as the scenery around them changed to reveal more Duels, where more Duelists were hurt.

Everyone watched as these bloody Duels took place, with the two females looking horrified as one Duelist spat out blood. They were so frightened that they grabbed onto Yusei's hands. All three of them watched as the scenery stopped changing; though they were still in the stadium. Z-arc was standing in the middle of the stadium with a thousand Duelists lying injured around him. However, the crowd didn't care about them, demanding more violent Duels.

"Who wants to battle!? There must be someone who'll challenge me, or are you all too frighten to lose!? Come on, challenge me! Someone step up and challenge me!" Z-arc called out to the thousands of people watching him. 'He defeated every challenger, took every title and soon, he stood at the top of the Dueling world'. The Crimson Dragon explained as the crowd kept demanding more Duels, making Z-arc let out an evil smirk on his face as he brought out four cards in his right hand.

"Yes! Yesss! Duel me, challenge me, let me crush you! If no one will challenge me, then I will challenge you! I challenge the whole world, I will destroy you all!" Z-arc exclaimed as he held up his left arm as his Duel Disk activated. "Yes, yes I will destroy you all! My four dragons thirst for a fight!" Z-arc called out as he placed his four cards on his Duel Disk. Four dragons covered in shadows appeared above Z-arc in a circle formation.

Then the chaos happened as the four dragons began unleashing destruction on the people of the United World, making Lulu and Rin gasp in fear as they now wrapped their arms around Yusei's arms.

They watched as everyone evacuated in hopes to avoid this bloodbath. 'People's greed for more violent battles corrupted such a pure Duelist, creating a demon that began a path of destruction'. The Crimson Dragon said as Z-arc's dragons continued to attacked innocent people, either hurting or killing them. 'The humans' greed angered Z-arc's dragons so much that they wished to bring destruction upon them. Z-arc didn't control them, they obeyed him willingly'. The Crimson Dragon told the two pieces of Ray, who were terrified of what they were seeing, but they did look at two of the four dragons, which felt familiar to them.

Yusei, Lulu and Rin continued to watch as the humans of the United World tried to fight against Z-arc's dragons, but couldn't even faze them. 'Given real bodies, Z-arc's dragons were able to fight against humanity without worry, who couldn't do anything to stop them'. The Crimson Dragon explained as the four dragons returned to the stadium to their master, roaring out in dissatisfaction.

"Yes, I agree. We do need a bigger challenge. Let us become one and challenge the whole universe! Now let us merge!" Zarc called out with a crazy grin on his face as he held up a card. "Astrograph Sorcerer, master of time and space!" Z-arc called out as a dark blue Spellcaster monster appeared and created a column of light. "I call on you to use your mystical powers to reshape us into a single, unstoppable force! It is time, to become one!" Z-arc called out as the Spellcaster casted a huge cluster of light above and drew in all the dragons and Z-arc himself, much to Lulu and Rin's shock.

The light changed to a great darkness accompanied by red lightning. From inside the darkness, an earth shattering roar was heard as a shape could be seen in the darkness. The darkness was then caste aside to reveal a horrible sight. A massive black dragon with green strips throughout its body appeared. Everyone about the dragons screamed out 'death', as if it was the embodiment of death.

"Aaaaahhhhh!" Lulu and Rin screamed out in fear, this time pressing their faces into Yusei's shirt to look away, like scared children would do with their parents. "I'm right here you two, be brave". Yusei told the two girls as he wrapped his arms around them to give them what comfort he could give.

The two girls sniffled a bit in fear, but they continued to watch. 'Allow me to introduce the merged form of Odd-Eyes Dragon, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and Z-arc, Supreme King Z-ARC'. The Crimson Dragon revealed, making Lulu and Rin widen their eyes at two of the names mentioned. "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!?" Lulu exclaimed in surprise to hear that familiar name. "How does he have Yugo's Clear Wing Synchro Dragon?" Rin questioned, wanting to know how Z-arc had her best friend's dragon.

"It's because Z-arc was the original owner of Clear Wing and Dark Rebellion". Yusei answered the girls, getting them to look at him in surprise. "Keep watching and you'll learn everything". The Shooting Star of Satellite told them, making Lulu and Rin nod as they continued to watch what happens.

They watched as Supreme King Z-ARC continued to rain destruction down on the United World. The buildings were burning in flames as Z-arc continued laughing. "Hahaha, what's wrong humans? I thought you wanted a more brutal Duel, hahaha!" Z-arc laughed out as the head of the dragon fired a beam, destroying more of the United World.

Then, riding aboard vehicles were Duelists with activated Duel Disks, willing to fight Supreme King Z-arc. "There were Duelists, who were willing to battle Z-arc to protect their world. But they were all defeated by the Supreme King". Yusei said as Z-arc easily defeated the Duelist who challenged him. "There must have been a way to stop that thing, right?" Rin asked as she looked at Yusei, who nodded to her.

"There was, and Leo Akaba created it". Yusei told Rin, getting her and Lulu to look at him in surprise. 'Leo Akaba felt responsible for being the cause of what created the Supreme King. He travelled around the world and following the theory of Duel Monsters with souls while researching different natural environments, Leo Akaba was able to create four cards from natural energy that he believed would be able to stop the monster he created'. The Crimson Dragon revealed to Lulu and Rin, surprising them at his answer.

'Through analyzing and studying the desire of plants that were destroyed, but sprouted with the seasons and animals that endured winter to spring, he was able to realize his ambition. The strong desire to live that has manifested in the United World for millennia. This allowed Leo Akaba to create four cards that would bring hope to the world and defeat Supreme King Z-ARC. The Spell cards, En Moon, En Winds, En Birds and En Flowers'. The Crimson Dragon continued on as the scenery around them changed to outside a ruined building, where they saw through a broken wall, Leo Akaba opening a briefcase, showing four glowing cards.

Leo looked pleased as he reached out to grab the cards, when suddenly someone snatched them. Both girls gasped in surprise as the thief ran away with Leo chasing after. "Someone stole the cards!?" Lulu exclaimed in surprise at what she saw, but Yusei shook his head.

"Not exactly, Rin. They were taken by Leo Akaba's daughter, Ray Akaba". Yusei revealed to the two girls, getting them curious as they were about to see the daughter of the man who kidnapped them. The scenery changed to a ruin street with Leo chasing after his daughter. "Dad, I'm going to stop Z-arc, not you. The people need you to rebuild the city". Ray told her father as she turned to face Leo, allowing Lulu and Rin to see her face, making them gasp in disbelief.

"S-She has the same face as us!" Lulu cried out in surprise that Ray had the same face as her and Rin. "How is this possible? How can that crazy scientist's daughter have the same face as us?" Rin questioned, starting to get tired of all the surprises that were happening today. "Ray, don't be silly. I created Z-arc, so I, not you, will defeat him. Now give those cards back. I will not let you risk your life. I don't want to lose you Ray". Leo pleaded to his daughter, hoping she'll give the cards back. "And I don't want to lose you either, dad!" Ray replied as she slotted a card into her Duel Disk.

A card appeared, before a bright light came out of it. The light pulled in two rubbles from separate buildings, blocking Leo from Ray. Seeing the path blocked, Ray continued on to face Z-arc. The scenery changed again, this time revealing Ray standing on one of the floating islands with a look of determination on her face as she faced off against the Surpeme King Z-ARC. Everyone watched her as she activated the four En cards, creating a bright light.

All around the destroyed buildings, flowers bloomed instantly, before somekind of power was transferred over to the four cards. Lulu and Rin watched in amazement as Ray faced Supreme King Z-Arc without any fear, while Yusei watched Leo running to Ray, trying to stop her. "Ray no! Don't do this!" Leo called out to his daughter as he tried to run over to her; only to be stopped by somekind of force field.

"Ray, no". Leo said in horror as he could do nothing, but watch. The energy from the four cards transferred over to Ray. "Those cards contain all the forces of nature. Your body can't withstand all that energy. Stop it Ray, please! You aren't going to survive!" Leo called out to his daughter in hopes she'll stop, but she kept going. Then, four bracelets appeared on Ray's right arm that she was holding up, surprising Lulu and Rin as they recognized two of them.

"That's my bracelet!" Lulu called out in surprise as she looked down at the bracelet around her right hand. "These bracelets really belonged to her?" Rin questioned as she looked down at her bracelet as well. "You could say that, but they belong to you two now". Yusei told the girls as they watched the bracelets on Ray's arm unleashed powerful glows from them, like that of a rainbow. The glows affected the Supreme King Z-ARC as the giant dragon howled in pain. The four shadow covered dragons appeared briefly for a few moments as they looked to be being pulled apart from each other.

"Stop it! Stop it now! Or you will suffer the consequences!" Z-arc shouted out as a part of the giant dragon revealed him and his yellow eyes. Ray kept her determined face, willing to do what needs to be done. A bright light appeared around the dragon as the four dragons were separated from it. Then to Lulu and Rin's shock, Ray glowed as well as she split into 4 pieces, each a different color before a bright light appeared all over the planet.

The bright light forced the two girls and Yusei to cover their eyes for a few moments, before it died down to reveal them back in the white void. "The four Spell cards split the United World into four pieces, known as the four dimensions. And on top of that, Ray and Z-arc were split into four pieces as well". Yusei told the two girls, making them widen their eyes as they began to make the connection on why they had the same face and why they have Ray's bracelets.

"Yusei, are you saying that we're pieces of Ray?" Lulu asked the 19-year-old in disbelief, who nodded to her with a serious expression on his face. "Yes Lulu, you and Rin are both are and are not Ray Akaba". Yusei revealed to the 14-year-old female, who looked down in disbelief. "So…in other words, Leo Akaba is like our dad, right?" Rin asked Yusei, who looked at her and couldn't help but wonder why she would ask that.

"That depends on what you believe. You could believe he's your father or not, the choice is yours". Yusei told the green haired girl, before he looked back at Lulu. "So…we're nothing but fragments of the daughter of Leo Akaba, is that it? Does that mean we were never meant to exit?" Lulu questioned as she began to cry tears, making Yusei frown at her.

"Don't talk like that!" Yusei scolded Lulu, getting her to look at him in surprise at the tone he was using. "Even if you're a piece of someone who split into four, you are your own person! You are Lulu, not Ray Akaba and nothing will change that". Yusei told the purple haired girl as he gave her a gentle smile, one that she returned. "Thank you Yusei, it means a lot to me". Lulu thanked the Signer, appreciating that he sees her as her own person.

'Leo Akaba survived the destruction of the United World and spent time in Standard, where he met Yusho Sakaki, created the Arc System, and then created a new family. However his memories came back and he made it his goal to retrieve his daughter and recreate the United World. To do this, he created the Arc-V Reactor. He believes it will merge you two and Ray's other two pieces into one. It will actually end your lives and only bring the four Spell cards back'. The Crimson Dragon explained to the young females, getting them to gasp in horror as they felt their hearts shake in fear.

Yusei brought the two closer to him and gave them a comforting hug to help ease them. "Don't worry, so long as I'm here, Leo will never get his hands on you again". The Shooting Star of Satellite told the two females, successfully calming them down. 'In his pursuit to recover his daughter, Leo Akaba has helped with Z-arc's revival'. The Crimson Dragon revealed to the two girls, getting their attention as they began shaking in fear.

"Z-arc's revival?" Rin questioned in horror at the thought of that monster being revived. "Indeed, three of Z-arc's pieces have made contact with their dragons calling out to each other. Only his standard piece remains to yet make contact. If the four Duel, they'll merge together to form Z-arc". Yusei explained to the two girls, getting Lulu to look at him.

"Who are Z-arc's reincarnations?" The purple haired girl asked the black haired male in concern, who frowned at her. "Four boys named Yuya, Yuto, Yugo and Yuri". Yusei answered the 14-year-old, making both females gasp in horror. "Yugo's one of that guy's reincarnations?" Rin asked in horror at what she's learned about her childhood friend. "I can't believe it. Yuto's apart of that creature". Lulu said in disbelief, getting Yusei curious to how they know Yuto and Yugo.

"You know Yugo and Yuto?" Yusei asked the girls, getting them to look back and nod at him. "Yugo's my childhood friend; we were raised in the same orphanage together". Rin answered Yusei, telling him how she knows Yugo. Yusei turned to look at Lulu, who was avoiding eye contact with him. She had this look of hurt on her face, concerning Yusei. "What's wrong Lulu?" Yusei asked the purple haired female, who slowly turned to look back at him.

"Yuto…used to be my boyfriend". Lulu answered the Shooting Star of Satellite, making Rin widen her eyes in surprise, while Yusei narrowed his eyes at what she said. "Used to be?" Yusei questioned with narrowed eyes as Lulu pressed her face against his shirt. "We met through my brother and got along like a house on fire, even became a couple. Sometime after Duel Academy invaded, his older sister Dextra was carded. I've never seen Yuto so enraged before in my life. He went after all the soldiers responsible and turned all of them into cards". Lulu began to explain to the 19-year-old what happened between her and Yuto, who listened carefully.

"I couldn't believe what he did. Yuto broke a promise and carded people, he became just like those soldiers from Duel Academy. He broke my heart when he used Dueling to hurt people, so I broke up with him. He realized what he did was wrong, but he still crossed the line and I couldn't bear to be in a relationship with him anymore. I just couldn't". Lulu finished as she began crying tears of sadness as she cried on Yusei's shirt, who rubbed her back in comfort.

'With you two free, Leo only has Ray's fusion piece, leaving him with just one. To stop Leo, Z-arc and protect Ray's pieces, I chose Yusei'. The Crimson Dragon told the two females, getting them to look back at Yusei's face with Lulu still having tears in her eyes. "Chose him to defeat Leo and Z-arc? I've seen his skills and he is good, but I find it hard to believe". Lulu said to the Crimson Dragon, but in truth she was worried about Yusei getting hurt.

'Yusei can defeat them, he's accomplished the impossible so many times now and I believe he can again. Allow me to show you'. The Crimson Dragon told the female as his eyes glowed a bright color at Lulu and Rin, which the two girls looked at. Lulu and Rin gasped as they saw flashes of Yusei's life. They learned he's from another world, a Turbo Duelist, a Signer, how he accomplished the impossible so many times and much more, but one thing had their attention the most.

The glow died down, allowing Lulu and Rin to look back at Yusei, allowing him to see the sad look in their eyes. "Yusei…are you really an orphan like us?" Rin asked the Shooting Star of Satellite, who was silent for a few moments before he nodded to them. "I am. My parents were killed in an incident known as Zero Reverse". The 19-year-old answered the green haired girl, getting both her and Lulu to frown in sadness for him.

Yusei was like them in a way. He was an orphan like them, but he had parents that were killed. Yet it amazed the two at how he grew up to be such an amazing person. 'Time is of the essence Yusei, Leo Akaba has already sent Z-arc's fusion piece to hunt you down and retrieve Lulu and Rin'. The Crimson Dragon warned his Signer, getting Yusei, Lulu and Rin's attention as they looked back at him.

'I have no doubt that you can handle Yuri, but things will get complicated if Leo Akaba joins the battle. When I upgraded your Duel Disk, I included the system to travel across dimensions. I suggest using it and leave the Fusion Dimension as soon as you can'. The embodiment of the Dragon Star advised his Signer, who nodded to him. "I understand, but before I go, I want to know something". Yusei told the dragon, getting the Crimson Dragon curious on what he wanted to know.

'What is it Yusei?' The Crimson Dragon questioned the Signer, willing to answer his questions. "When I rescued Rin, she knew what this mark on my face is and even knows about Duel Runners. How is that possible?" Yusei explained to the Crimson Dragon, wanting to know how Rin knows about his mark and Duel Runner.

'When the United World split, a wave came over your world, causing the Synchro Dimension to be based off of it in some ways, like with Duel Runners. Even counterparts of people of your world were created'. The Crimson Dragon answered his Signer, getting Yusei more interested by the second. "Like who?" Yusei asked the dragon, wanting to know who now has a counterpart. 'That is a surprise for you. I'm sure you'll like it'. The embodiment of the Dragon Star replied to his Signer, chuckling a bit at the end.

'I've answered all your questions now. Return to the Fusion Dimension and escape as soon as you can. I suggest going to the Standard Dimension to hide for a while. Until next we meet, I look forward to seeing your achievements'. The Crimson Dragon bid farewell as a bright light appeared, forcing Yusei, Lulu and Rin to cover their eyes.

The light eventually died down, allowing the three humans to open their eyes and see that they were back in the room with the two bunk beds. Yusei took action as he went to his Duel Runner. "We have to leave the Fusion Dimension as soon as we can. Let's go talk to Yusho, and then see if my Duel Disk can really get us out of here". Yusei told the two females as he attached his Duel Disk to his wrist dealer.

Both girls nodded to Yusei, before Rin went to help him with his Duel Runner, while Lulu opened the door. Soon the three were pushing the Duel Runner together, walking down the hallway of the You Show hideout. This time it was full of students, only they were looking at Yusei with looks of admiration.

"Yusei!" A familiar voice called out, getting Yusei, Lulu and Rin to look ahead to see Blair running up to them with an excited smile. "Hey there Blair, how are you doing?" Yusei greeted the 13-year-old as she stopped in front of him. "Great! I heard from teacher that you successfully infiltrated Duel Academy and saved those two girls". Blair greeted Yusei back as she looked at Lulu and Rin and gave them a friendly smile.

"Hi there, my name's Blair Flannigan; it's nice to meet you". Blair greeted the two older females, who smiled at her. "Hi there, my name's Rin". Rin greeted Blair back with a smile. "I'm Lulu Obsidian, nice to meet you". Lulu greeted the younger female with a smile. "I hope we can get along". Blair said to Lulu and Rin, before she looked back at Yusei. "Yusei, teacher wants to speak to you". Blair informed Yusei, who narrowed his eyes but nodded to her.

"Thanks Blair, I'll go see him now". Yusei told her as he, Lulu and Rin began pushing his Duel Runner to Yusho's room. "I'll come with you". Blair said as she began helping Yusei, Rin and Lulu push the Duel Runner. "Suit yourself". The 19-year-old told her as they arrived at the green door. Yusei opened the door, before they all pushed his Duel Runner inside, where they saw Yusho on his chair. "You called for me Yusho?" Yusei said to the older male, who smiled at him.

"Indeed I did". Yusho told Yusei, before he looked at Blair as she and Lulu watched Rin place Yusei's Duel Runner in parking mode. "Blair, you have my thanks for getting Yusei for me". The adult thanked the purple haired girl, who smiled at him. "No problem teacher". Blair replied to the Dueltainer, making him chuckle before he turned to face Yusei.

"Now that you've rescued Lulu and Rin, what are your plans now?" Yusho questioned his friend, wondering what his next step will be. "I'm planning to take these two and leave the Fusion Dimension". Yusei answered Yusho, getting Blair to look at him with a look of panic on her face. "You're leaving?" Blair questioned in panic, not wanting Yusei to leave the Fusion Dimension.

"Blair, Yusei must have become Duel Academy's most wanted by now. It's not safe for him, Lulu and Rin here". Yusho explained to the 13-year-old, getting Blair to look sad as she understood what he was saying. "To leave the Fusion Dimension, you'll need the Interdimensional Travel program, without it you can't leave". Yusho told Yusei what he needed to leave, who didn't look worried. "The Crimson Dragon installed the Interdimensional Travel program in my Duel Runner, so I have what I need to leave". The Shooting Star of Satellite told Yusho Sakaki, receiving a pleased look from him.

"That's good to hear. Which dimension have you decided to escape to?" Yusho asked the 19-year-old, who looked back at Lulu and Rin, who were watching him and Yusho. "The Xyz Dimension would be risky because of Duel Academy's forces there". Yusei explained, getting Lulu to look down in sadness that she couldn't return to her home dimension for the time being.

"Rin, can you tell me about the Synchro Dimension?" Yusei asked the green haired girl, wanting to know if the Synchro Dimension was an option. "It's not really safe. New Domino City is split into two types of people, Commoners and Topsiders. Commoners are the losers of the society, while the Topsiders are the winners and it's not a fair society. It's not really a better option". Rin explained to the Shooting Star of Satellite, getting him to narrow his eyes as he saw the similarities between the Synchro Dimension and how his world used to be.

"Guess that means the best, and probably only option is the Standard Dimension". Yusei said, deciding what dimension they'll escape to. "That's probably for the best. Zuzu is the last piece of Ray and Leo will eventually go after her". Yusho commented, agreeing with Yusei that the Standard Dimension is the best option. "Do you want to come with us?" Yusei offered to Yusho a way back to his home dimension, who shook his head.

"As much as I'd love to see my family again, I can't leave. My students need me and I still want to reach out to Leo". Yusho replied to Yusei, getting him to narrow his eyes. "He's that much of a friend to you?" Yusei questioned the Dueltainer if he and Leo were that close, which Yusho nodded without hesitation. "He is. Despite his actions and pain, I believe that the Leo I met in the Standard Dimension is still in there somewhere and I want to get my friend back". Yusho explained to the Shooting Star of Satellite, who smiled at seeing his determination to bring his friend back.

"I understand Yusho; I'll respect your wishes. Although there has to be something I can do for you to repay you for your help". Yusei said to the Dueltainer, wanting to repay Yusho for his help. Yusho closed his eyes as he thought for a whole minute, before he opened his eyes. "If it's not too much trouble, could you deliver two messages to my family?" Yusho requested from the Shooting Star of Satellite, who nodded to him. "Of course I can". The 19-year-old answered the Dueltainer with a smile, getting him to return the smile.

"Thank you Yusei". Yusho thanked the Shooting Star of Satellite with a grateful smile. However, suddenly the door burst open and Alexis ran in. "Principal, we've got trouble!" Alexis exclaimed with a frightened look, getting everyone's attention. "What's wrong Alexis?" Yusho asked his student as the blond haired female brought out her Duel Disk. "Look!" Alexis replied as a screen appeared above the Duel Disk and grew large enough for everyone to see.

The screen showed the harbor from yesterday, only there were four tied up kneeling teenagers in the screen, two males and two females. One of the females was a 15-year-old girl with short black hair, far skin and hazel eyes, wearing a Slifer red Duel Academy outfit with red high heels boots. The second female was a 14-year-old with long blue hair and emerald eyes, wearing an Obelisk Blue outfit with dark shoes.

One of the males was a 15-year-old with spiky red hair and brown eyes. He was wearing an Obelisk Blue outfit with black shoes. Finally the last male was a 13-year-old boy with dark brown hair and greenish eyes. He was wearing a Ra Yellow uniform and looked to be scared. Blair widened her eyes in horror when she saw the Ra Yellow boy. "Marcel!" Blair called out in concern for the boy, getting Yusei to look at her for a moment.

'Is this thing working? Testing, testing'. A voice said on the screen as Yuri walked up to it from the side, making Lulu and Rin gasp in horror to see him. 'Well I sure hope so, or else I'm gonna have a problem. Anyway, guy who broke into Duel Academy, or whatever your name is, listen up! I've got a bone to pick with you!' Yuri began with a frown on his face, getting Yusei to narrow his eyes dangerously at how the 14-year-old was talking to him.

'Because of you, the Interdimensional Travel Technology is fried and I can't go back to the Xyz Dimension and hunt anymore Resistance members. What's worse, you made my hard work of kidnapping Lulu and Rin go down the drain, and for that I'm in a very bad mood. You've got 10 minutes to come down here to the harbor, or… well here's a hint'. Yuri said with a smirk as he turned to face the 15-year-old Obelisk Blue student, who gasped in horror as Yuri held up his Duel Disk. 'No, please! Please!' The Obelisk Blue student screamed out as a purple glow came out of Yuri's Duel Disk and engulfed him.

The light disappeared and Yuri held up a card, showing that he turned the student into a card, making everyone gasp in horror. 'That's one, three more to go. You'd better hurry or else these three will be joining him'. Yuri said as he turned around and gave the gaze of a predator, before the screen disappeared.

"…Looks like I have one last thing to do here". Yusei said as he walked up to his Duel Runner, getting Rin and Lulu to look at him in concern. "Yusei, he's dangerous!" Rin tried to warn the Shooting Star of Satellite as he began pushing his Duel Runner. "Rin's right, Yuri's one of the top elites of Duel Academy, and is probably the Professor's right hand man". Alexis said in agreement, knowing just who Yuri is.

"Yusei, I Dueled him in Heartland and lost to him. Let's just leave the Fusion Dimension". Lulu told Yusei, not wanting to risk losing him. "…I'm not leaving when someone's in danger and I could have done something…" Yusei told the three females as he opened the green door and began pushing his Duel Runner down the hall.

Lulu, Rin and Blair looked concerned for Yusei, worried that this might be the last time they'll see him. Alexis turned to look at Yusho, who had a natural expression on his face. "Principal, do you think Yusei can defeat Yuri?" The 16-year-old asked her teacher, who turned and gave her a confident grin. "I do believe in Yusei. He's our hope for a better future". Yusho told his student, believing in Yusei. Alexis looked a bit surprised by Yusho's words, before she nodded, deciding to believe in Yusei as well.

(A little bit later at the harbor)

At the harbor, Yuri waited with his arms crossed and taping his right foot. Behind the 14-year-old boy, the boy Marcel and the two females were shaking in fear, afraid of who Yuri will turn into a card next. "Maybe I used the wrong bait. I thought for sure using deserters of Duel Academy would get that guy's attention". Yuri said to himself, getting a bit impatient from waiting for his target.

After the Professor gave him permission to use any method to get Lulu and Rin back, Yuri set off to plant his trap. Since he had the Professor's approval, Yuri took captured deserters of Duel Academy, who didn't manage to escape. He tied them up, took a boat to the mainland and sent a recording though his Duel Disk. He heard how the deserter Blair Flannigan was saved by the Juvenile Officers by an unknown man, so he decided to these students as bait. Now though, Yuri was thinking he was using the wrong bait.

"Let us go, we don't know anything!" The female with blue hair called out to Yuri, getting him to look over his left shoulder. "I'm sorry, who are you again?" Yuri questioned, though he could honestly care less. "My name's Evie". The girl now named Evie replied to Yuri, telling him her name. "Well then Evie, I didn't bring you here because I thought you knew anything about our troublemaker, but to use you as bait to get him here". Yuri told Evie with a frown on his face as he turned around to face her.

"And now that I think about it, it has been 10 minutes now, so one of you needs to go". Yuri said as he brought up his Duel Disk, making the three teenagers widen their eyes in horror. Yuri was about to press the button to activate the Human Sealing system, when suddenly there was a loud vroom.

Yuri smirked as he turned around to see Yusei riding towards him on his Duel Runner. The Shooting Star of Satellite had his helmet on with his eyes narrowed in a dangerous way. Yusei stopped ten feet away from Yuri, planting his left foot on the ground as he looked at Yuri, who had a pleasant smile on his face.

"I was wondering if you were gonna show up". Yuri said to Yusei as he licked his lips. "Well I'm here now, so let those three go". Yusei replied to the fusion piece of the demon, who blinked at him for a few seconds before he burst out laughing. "That's hilarious! You think I'd let these three go if you came to me? I wonder how someone as foolish as you could break into Duel Academy". Yuri laughed out with a crazy grin on his face.

Unknown to Yuri, Yusei and the three tied up traitors of Duel Academy was that there was a flying purple camera in the air, broadcasting this whole thing to the people of the Fusion Dimension.

(Back at the You Show School)

Meanwhile at the You Show School, Blair, Lulu and Rin were sitting down around the table with all three of them having worried looks on their faces. Yusho was sitting down on his chair, only now he was writing something down on a piece of paper with Alexis standing next to him. All was quiet, until the door bust open and a green haired 10-year-old male student rushed in, holding a holographic chart in his hand.

The boy had brown eyes, wearing a green hoodie jacket over a yellow shirt, black pants and green shoes. This young boy's name was Verde, and his parents had actually sent him to join You Show so that they could visit him anytime they wished. "Teacher, you have to look at this!" Verde called out as he ran up to Yusho, getting the Dueltaner's attention, along with everyone else.

Verde gave the holographic chart over to Yusho, who took and looked at it, before his eyes widened. "What is it?" Rin asked as she, Blair and Lulu looked at him, who said nothing as he pressed a button on the holographic chart. A double sided screen appeared above the chart, allowing everyone to see what was happening to Yusei. The two girls widened their eyes in concern, before Yusho enlarged the screen, making it big enough as a TV screen.

'They have no part of this, it's between you and me so let them go!' Yusei cried out as he took his helmet off and placed it on his Duel Runner. 'Sorry, but that's not gonna happen. Consider this payback for making my work go down the drain. Do you have any idea how troublesome it was to get those two girls?' Yuri replied to the Shooting Star of Satellite with a frown on his face.

'You had no right to take Lulu and Rin away from their homes, just as you had no right to involve these three'. Yusei told the 14-year-old as he dismounted his Duel Runner. 'Sorry, but when the Professor wants something, he gets it. Just like how he now wants you to hand over those two'. Yuri replied to Yusei, waving his hand off as he didn't feel guilty about his actions.

'Over my dead body!' Yusei stated as he detached his Duel Disk and attached it to his wrist dealer. 'That's the general idea pal. But before we get to Dueling, I think it's only gentlemanly to ask for your name. So what is it?' Yuri asked Yuri with a smirk on his face as he activated his Duel Disk with his blade activating.

'My name is Yusei, Yusei Fudo. Remember it well, because it's the name of the man who will stop Leo Akaba's ambitions!' Yusei replied as he held up his left arm as his Duel Disk activated with the blade appearing. "Yusei…" Lulu said in concern for the man who saved her from her prison.

"Be safe". Rin finished for Lulu as the two girls held their hands together as if they were praying. Yusho looked over at the two girls, but then he noticed something. Blair wasn't there anymore?! "Where did Blair go?" Yusho questioned as he looked around the room, but couldn't find her. 'Did she go to assist Yusei?' The Dueltainer thought to himself, though he did admire her bravery to help Yusei.

(Back with Yusei and Yuri)

Yusei and Yuri kept their eyes on each other, before they placed their decks into their Duel Disks, which shuffled for them. "Get your game on!" Yusei called out as he and Yuri draw their starting hand from their decks and held them with their left hands.

"You wanna see game? How's this!" Yuri exclaimed as he took a card from his hand and played it. "It's called Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio and I'll play him in ATK Mode!" Yuri called out as a scorpion plant monster appeared in front of him.

Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio ATK Points: 1200/ Level: 3.

"Now I think I'll play Ophrys Scorpio's special ability! By discarding a Predaplant like my Predaplant Cordyceps, I can now Special Summon Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra from my deck!" Yuri explained as he discarded a card, while a cobra-like plant monster appeared besides Ophrys Scorpio.

Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 3.

"At this moment, Darlingtonia Cobra's special ability activates! When this card is Special Summoned, I can now add a Polymerization from my deck to my hand!" Yuri explained as a card slotted out of his deck, which he picked up with his right hand's index and middle fingers and showed it to Yusei.

"In fact I think I'll play it!" Yuri exclaimed as he slotted the card into the Duel Disk with the Spell appearing on his field. "With this card, I'll fuse Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio and Darlingtonia Cobra!" Yuri called out as a purple portal appeared in the sky, where the two Plant type monsters were absorbed into it.

"If you thought those two were bad enough, then you're in trouble now! I Fusion Summon Predaplant Chimerafflesia!" Yuri called out as a giant man eating plant appeared from the portal.

Predaplant Chimerafflesia ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

Yusei didn't even flinch at the giant man eating plan in front of him, something that Yuri took notice of and frowned at. "Looks like someone has some guts, that's why I'll take great pleasure ripping them out". Yuri said as he looked at the three cards in his hand, mostly at the two Trap cards in his hand.

'With Predaprouting, not only will it protect my Dark attribute monster, it'll destroy his monster. With Predaplant Reborn, I'll bring back Chimerafflesia even if he destroys it. There's no way he can break through this combo'. The 14-year-old thought to himself with a smirk, feeling confident about his victory.

"I'll set two cards face down and turn it over to you". Yuri said as two face down cards appeared on his field.

Yusei Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 5.

"It's my move now!" Yusei called out as he drew his card from his deck and looked at it before he added it to his hand. However, that was when Yusei noticed something behind Yuri. Blair came out of nowhere and began untying the ropes around the three tied up students' wrists, starting with Marcel first. "Blair!" Marcel said in surprise to see his friend, but Blair held her right index finger in front of her mouth, telling him to be quiet.

'I have to distract Yuri long enough for Blair to get them all out of here, and I know just the cards that'll work'. The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself with narrowed eyes as he picked a card from his hand. "To start us off, I'll play the Spell card; Pot of Greed!" Yusei exclaimed, holding up the card before slotting it into his Duel Disk. A large green pot with the face of a greedy man then appeared in front of Satellite's Shooting Star. "This Spell card allows me to draw 2 cards!" The Synchro Duelist explained his Spell card's effect as he drew 2 more cards from his deck, before the pot shattered.

Satellite's Shooting Star added the two new cards to his hand, before picking up one of them. "Next up, I'm activating the Tuning Spell card!" Yusei exclaimed as he slotted the Spell into his Duel Disk, which appeared on his field. "Here's how it works, it allows me to add a Tuner monster from my deck to my hand, but in exchange I have to discard the top cards equal to the Tuner monster's level". Yusei explained his Spell's effect as a card slotted out of his deck. Yusei picked the card up with his right hand's index and middle fingers, flipping it over to reveal that it was Junk Synchron.

"Since Junk Synchron is Level 3, the top three cards are going to the graveyard!" Yusei explained as he drew the top three cards of his deck, seeing that they were Tuning Supporter, Shield Warrior and Urgent Tuning, before sending them to the graveyard. "Now I'll Summon Junk Synchron to the field!" Yusei called out as he placed the card on his blade. A bright orange light appeared in the sky, before it cleared to reveal Junk Synchron, who gave out a small cry.

Junk Synchron ATK Points: 1300/ Level: 3.

"When Junk Synchron is Normal Summoned, I can use its power to bring back a Level 2 or lower monster from my graveyard, like my Tuning Supporter!" Yusei explained as Junk Synchron held out its right hand with Tuning Supporter appearing next to him.

Tuning Supporter ATK Points: 100/ Level: 1.

"Now since I control a Junk monster like Junk Synchron, I can Special Summon Junk Servant from my hand!" Yusei exclaimed as he placed another card on the blade with Junk Servant appeared on his field.

Junk Servant ATK Points: 1500/ Level: 4.

"My, you Summoned three monsters very easily, not to mention one of them being a Tuner monster. Now you can either Synchro Summon a Level 4, 7 or 8 Synchro Monster". Yuri remarked with an impressed look on his face, making Yusei narrow his eyes. "Before I get to Synchro Summoning, I'm gonna play a new card of mine! I activate the Spell, Synchro Chase!" Yusei exclaimed as he slotted the card into his Duel Disk with the Spell appearing in front of him.

"I'll explain what this does latter! Right now Junk Synchron tunes with Tuning Supporter and Junk Servant!" Yusei cried out as Tuning Supporter and Junk Servant took to the skies, while Junk Synchron pulled its lever as it transformed into three green rings. The green rings circled around Tuning Supporter and Junk Servant, scanning them with the two monsters turning transparent.

Tuning Supporter turned into a single light, while Junk Servant turned into four lights, before they all lined up in the green rings with a beam of light appearing, absorbing the lights and rings. "Behold as shards of razor sharp steel and scraps of iron-clad alloy are forged together to create a powerful new force! I Synchro Summon, Junk Destroyer!" Yusei chanted as Junk Destroyer appeared from the beam, making a dramatic entrance.

Junk Destroyer ATK Points: 2600/ Level: 8.

"Oh I'm so scared". Yuri said with sarcasm in his voice, not knowing how much trouble he was in. "At this moment Junk Destroyer, Synchro Chase and Tuning Supporter's effects activate! First since Tuning Supporter was used as Synchro Material, I get to draw a card!" Yusei began to explain as he drew an extra card from his deck and added it to his hand.

"Synchro Chase's effect now activates! Since I Synchro Summoned a Synchro Monster with "Warrior", "Synchron" or "Stardust" in its name, I get to Special Summon one of its materials in DEF Mode, and I choose Tuning Supporter!" Yusei explained his Spell's effect as Tuning Supporter reappeared in DEF Mode.

Tuning Supporter DEF Points: 300/ Level: 1.

"And now Junk Destroyer's effect activates!" Yusei exclaimed as he held out his right hand. "For every non Tuner Monster used as Synchro Material, Junk Destroyer destroys a card on your field!" Yusei finished, explaining his Synchro Monster's effect as Yuri widened his eyes in surprise. "Say what!?" Yuri called out in surprise, having not expected this.

"Since Tuning Supporter and Junk Servant were used as Synchro Material, that's two cards destroyed! Go Tidal Sweep!" Yusei called out as Junk Destroy unleashed white energy that took the form of a tidal wave as it destroyed Predaplant Chimerafflesia and one of Yuri's face downs. "Now I'm wide open for a direct attack!" Yuri stated with wide eyes at how Yusei easily destroyed his strategy.

"That's right, now Junk Destroy attack Yuri directly!" Yusei commanded as Junk Destroyer fired energy covered fist attacks from its hands. "Oh no, whatever will I do?! Oh wait I know, play my Trap card, Predaplant Reborn!" Yuri cried out with a grin as his remaining face down card revealed itself. "This Trap brings one of my Predaplant monsters back from the graveyard, like my Predaplant Chimerafflesia!" Yuri explained his Trap's effect as Chimerafflesia reappeared on the field.

Predaplant Chimerafflesia ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

The energy covered fist attacks dispersed before making contact with Chimerafflesia, who gave a hungry growl. "So sorry to disappoint you, but I'll give you points for stopping your attack. Chimerafflesia has the power to reduce 1000 ATK from your monster and gain the same amount if an attack is declared involving him. Next turn, you can say good-bye to your big friend". Yuri said with a mocking grin on his face. However, Yusei didn't so much as flinch as he took another card from his hand, before holding it out.

"I don't think so, I activate the Spell card; Synchro Blast Wave!" Satellite's Shooting Star exclaimed, before slotting the card into his Duel Disk. A large copy of the card appeared in front of him, before it began glowing. "If I have a Synchro Monster on my field, Synchro Blast Wave can destroy one of your monsters! So say "good-bye" to your plant!" Yusei explained his Spell card's effect, pointing his right hand's index finger at Chimerafflesia during mid speech.

Synchro Blast Wave's card fired a white beam that shot out and struck the Fusion Monster hard, causing it to explode. The smoke from the explosion quickly cleared to reveal Yuri's field empty and the teenage boy having his left eyebrow raised. Yusei brought his hand down, before he looked down at the four remaining cards in his hand. The Shooting Star of Satellite stared at two cards for a few seconds, before he picked them up. "I'll set two face downs and end my turn!" Yusei declared, swiping them into his Duel Disk before two face-down cards appeared in front of him.

Yuri Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

"How interesting, maybe you'll prove to be a challenge. It's my turn now, I draw!" Yuri called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion. "At this moment Predaplant Chimerafflesia's effect activates! At the Standby Phase of the turn after it was destroyed, I can add a Polymerization or a Fusion Spell card from my deck to my hand!" Yuri explained as a card slotted out of his Duel Disk and he added it to his hand.

"Now I'll activate a new Spell of mine called Fusion Treasures". The 14-year-old said as he slotted a card into his Duel Disk. Appearing in front of Yuri was a Spell card with the images showing Five-Headed Dragon and Dragon Master Knight coming out of a giant open treasure chest.

(Fusion Treasures/ Type: Continuous Spell/ Effect: Every time you Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster, draw one card from your deck.)

"I'll explain what that does latter. Right now I'll Summon a new friend of mine that's called Predaplant Vicious Feline!" Yuri said as he placed a card on his blade. Appearing in front of Yuri was a plant-like cat with glowing red eyes with a mouth like that of a flytrap.

(Predaplant Vicious Feline/ Level: 3/ Attribute: Dark/ Type: Plant/ Effect/ ATK Points: 1000/ DEF Points: 500/ Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select one 'Predaplant' monster in your graveyard, Special Summon it, then immediately after this effect, Fusion Summon using these two monsters. If this card was used for the Fusion Summon of a Predaplant Fusion Monster, it gains 1000 ATK Points until the End Phase.)

"When this feline is Normal Summon, I can Special Summon a Predaplant monster from my graveyard, then use it with Vicious Feline to Fusion Summon!" Yuri explained with a grin as a card slotted out of his Duel Disk and the 14-year-old placed it on the blade. "Arise once more Predaplant Chimerafflesia!" Yuri called out as Chimerafflesia appeared once more.

Predaplant Chimerafflesia ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

"Now with Vicious Feline's ability, I fuse her and Chimerafflesia!" Yuri cried out as a purple portal appeared in the sky and Vicious Feline and Chimerafflesia were absorbed into it. "Vicious feline merges with vicious plant to form a vicious dragon! I Fusion Summon Predaplant Dragostapelia!" Yuri called out as a dragon like plant appeared, giving out a roar.

Predaplant Dragostapelia ATK Points: 2700/ Level: 8.

Yusei narrowed his eyes at the sight of the Fusion Monster, but that was when he noticed Blair untie Evie, before she, Marcel, Evie and the black haired female ran away, turning a corner and leaving the area undetected by Yuri. 'They got away safely, that's a relief. Now I can Duel without worry'. The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself, now completely focused on the Duel.

"At this moment Vicious Feline and Fusion Treasures' effect activates! First since I Fusion Summon, Fusion Treasures allows me to draw a card from my deck". Yuri began to explain as he drew another card from his deck. "Now Vicious Feline's final effect activates! Since it was used as Fusion Material for a Predaplant Fusion Monster, it gains 1000 ATK Points!" The 14-year-old finished as a purple aura surrounded Dragostapelia.

Predaplant Dragostapelia ATK Points: 2700 + 1000 = 3700.

"3700 ATK Points!?" Yusei called out in surprise at seeing Dragostapelia's ATK Points now higher than before. "That's right, now Dragostapelia attacks Junk Destroyer!" Yuri called out as he held out his right hand as purple mist began to come out of Dragostapelia's wings. Yusei narrowed his eyes as he looked down at his Duel Disk. 'I could use Shield Warrior's effect to negate Junk Destroyer's destruction, but something tells me that I'll need it for later'. The 19-year-old thought to himself as the purple mist surrounded Junk Destroyer, melting the Synchro Monster. (3700 – 2600 = 1100)

Yusei Life Points: 4000 – 1100 = 2900.

"Your Synchro Monster that you worked so hard for is gone. I'll end my turn with a face down card". Yuri chuckled with a smirk as a face down card appeared on his field.

Predaplant Dragostapelia ATK Points: 3700 – 1000 = 2700.

Yusei Life Points: 2900/ Number of cards in hand: 2.

"It's my move!" Yusei called out as he drew his card and looked at it. "You seem focused on the Duel now, guess that's to be expected with those three traitors out of the way". Yuri commented with a smirk on his face, making Yusei narrow his eyes at him. "You knew that Blair was here all along and didn't try to stop her? Why did you let her go?" Yusei questioned the elite of Duel Academy why he let Blair and the other students get away, which Yuri shrugged with a smirk.

"I got what I wanted, so I have no need for those three anymore. Besides, Crowler can take care of them". Yuri said with a smirk on his face, making Yusei narrow his eyes dangerously at him. "You sent someone after them?" The 19-year-old questioned with gritted teeth, now ticked off at Yuri and worried for Blair.

"Of course I did, the Professor wouldn't like it if I let them go, so I brought Professor Crowler alone to take care of them if I couldn't deal with them". Yuri replied with that same crazy smirk on his face, increasing Yusei's anger. "You and Duel Academy will pay for thinking you can just turn innocent people into cards and can get away with it! I Summon Synchron Carrier to the field in ATK Mode!" Yusei called out as he placed a card on the blade as an orange machine monster with a tow appeared on his field.

Synchron Carrier ATK: 0/ Level: 2.

"Thanks to Synchron Carrier's Effect, I'm allowed to Normal Summon a Synchron monster from my hand to the field". Yusei explained as he took another card from his hand and placed it on the blade of his Duel Disk. "I Summon the Tuner monster, Road Synchron!" Yusei cried out as a portal appeared and Road Synchron came out.

Road Synchron ATK Points: 1600/ Level: 4.

"When Tuning Supporter is used to Synchro Summon, he counts as a Level 2 Monster!" Yusei explained his monster's effect as Tuning Supporter's Level went up.

Tuning Supporter Level: 1 + 1 = 2.

"Now Level 4 Road Synchron tunes with Level 2 Tuning Supporter and Level 2 Synchron Carrier!" Yusei cried out as Road Synchro burst into four green rings that flew into the air. Tuning Supporter and Synchron Carrier all flew into the green rings, turning transparent as the rings scanned them. The two monsters turned into two lights separately before a beam appeared and absorbed the lights and rings. "This monster will blaze a path all the way to my victory! Synchro Summon! Floor it, Road Warrior!" Yusei chanted as Road Warrior appeared, slamming its claws against each other before it took a stance.

Road Warrior ATK Points: 3000/ Level: 8.

"Another Level 8 Synchro Monster, only this time it has 3000 ATK Points!" Yuri called out in surprise at how Yusei managed to Synchro Summon this powerful monster. "That's the least of your concerns, both Synchro Chaser and Tuning Supporter's effect activates! First Tuning Supporter lets me draw another card since it was used as Synchro Material!" Yusei began to explain as he drew another card from his deck and saw that it was Synchro Strike.

"Then Synchro Chase brings back a monster used as Synchro Material for a 'Stardust', 'Synchron' and 'Warrior' Synchro Monster, and once again it's Tuning Supporter!" Yusei finished explaining as Tuning Supporter reappeared on the field in DEF Mode.

Tuning Supporter DEF Points: 300/ Level: 1.

"Now Road Warrior, attack Dragostapelia with Lightning Claw!" Yusei ordered as lightning surrounded Road Warrior's right claw before the Synchro Monster charged at the Fusion Monster. "Not so fast pal, I activate the Trap Fusion Guard!" Yuri called out as his face down card revealed itself, with the image showing Dark Paladin blocking an attack from Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

(Fusion Guard/ Type: Trap/ Effect: For the rest of this turn, Fusion Monsters cannot be destroyed and at the End Phase, add one Polymerization or Fusion Spell or Trap card to your hand.)

"Thanks to this Trap, Dragostapelia isn't gonna be destroyed!" Yuri explained as a force field appeared in front of his Fusion Monster, blocking Road Warrior's attack. "But you still take battle damage". Yusei reminded as a bit of lightning bounced off the force field to Yuri, zapping him a bit. (3000 – 2700 = 300)

Yuri Life Points: 4000 – 300 = 3700.

"Plan A didn't work, might as well go with Plan B. I activate Road Warrior's special ability!" Yusei called out as he pointed forward with his right hand's index finger. "Once a turn I can use Road Warrior's power to Summon any Level 2 or 1 monster from my deck!" The Shooting Star of Satellite explained as Road Warrior grabbed the handle of the cannon on its back.

"Not happening pal, I play Dragostapelia's special ability!" Yuri called out with a smirk on his face as Dragostapelia roared as purple mist came out of his wings. "I can target one face-up monster my opponent controls and place a Predaplant Counter on it and as long as it has a Predaplant Counter, it stays as a Level 1 monster!" The 14-year-old explained as the purple mist surrounded Road Warrior, stopping it from picking up its cannon.

Road Warrior Level: 8 – 7 = 1.

"Also Dragostapelia negates the activated effects of monsters with Predaplant Counters, so nice try". Yuri giggled, making Yusei narrow his eyes at him. "I'll place one card face down and end my turn". Yusei said as a face down card appeared on the field. "At this moment Fusion Guard's final effect activates! It allows me to either add a Polymerization or a Fusion Spell card from my deck to my hand!" Yuri explained with a smirk as his deck shuffled before a card slotted out.

Yuri took hold of the card and showed it to Yusei. It was a Spell with the image showing Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon with the ghostly form of King Dragun behind it, transferring its power over to the three headed dragon. "And I choose the Fusion Essence Trap card!" Yuri showed his choice as he added the card to his hand.

(Fusion Essence/ Effect: Trap/ Effect: If a Fusion Monster you control battles an opponent's monster, remove from play one Fusion Monster from your graveyard, that monster gains ATK equal to the removed from play monster's ATK until the End Phase.)

Yuri Life Points: 3700/ Number of cards in hand: 2.

Blair, Marcel, Evie and the black haired girl were running across the streets of the town, heading back to the You Show School's hideout with Blair leading the way. "Blair, what about that man back there fighting Yuri?" Marcel asked his friend, concerned for Yusei. Blair gave her friend a confident smile, believing that Yusei can defeat Yuri.

"He'll be fine Marcel; I know Yusei can beat Yuri". Blair replied to her friend with a confident look, getting the black haired girl's attention. "Do you even know who that psychopath is? That's Yuri, one of the elites of Duel Academy and the Professor's right hand man. I don't know who that other guy is, but he's gonna lose". The black haired female remarked with a frown, thinking that Yusei had no chance against Yuri.

Blair stopped running and turned to face the girl with a frown on her face. "What's your name?" Blair asked the black haired girl as she, Marcel and Evie stopped running as well. "Violet". The now revealed Violet answered Blair, telling the 13-year-old her name. "Well Violet, that guy you think that's gonna lose is the bravest person I've ever met. He's gonna beat Yuri and eventually beat Leo Akaba!" Blair told Violet with a hint of anger in her voice, surprising Marcel, Evie and Violet at her words.

"Ahhhhh, now that is hilarious!" Someone laughed out as a male in his mid thirties came out of the shadows and stepped in their way. The man's outfit consisted of an Obelisk Blue uniform, complete with gold trimmings and ruffled pink collar, shoulders, upper chest, and sleeves. His blonde hair is sectioned in two layers, with the layer furthest from his face tightly-bound in a ponytail, and he also wears crescent-shaped earrings. Across his torso was a Duel Academy Duel Vest with a deck slotted in.

"You're…Dr. Vellian Crowler!" Marcel called out in surprise to see the man. This man was the original owner of the Ancient Gear deck that the Obelisk Force uses, and was the head teacher of the class where student become members of the Obelisk Force. "That boy Yuri made the right call to bring me along, because now I get to card you four traitors". Dr. Crowler said with a grin on his face as Violet began stepping back in fear.

"No… this is it. We're gonna be turned into cards". Violet said in despair as she hugged herself, shaking like a leaf. "No, we're not gonna be turned into cards, so long as I have a say in it!" Blair exclaimed as she brought out a red You Show Duel School Duel Disk and placed it on her left forearm, activating the blade.

"Hahaha, you wish to Duel me? Very well, I shall grant you this fighting chance, even if it's all for not". Crowler laughed out as the Duel Vest activated a blade. "Blair, why are you doing this? You can't defeat him; he's the headmaster of the Obelisk Force". Marcel reminded his friend as Evie helped move Violet away from the Duel.

"It's because I believe that there's hope to defeat Duel Academy, that's why I'll fight!" Blair answered Marcel with narrowed eyes as she stood five feet away from Dr. Crowler. "Game on!" Blair exclaimed with narrowed eyes, making Crowler chuckle as they drew their starting hand.

"Hope? There's no hope to defeat Duel Academy. We're all gonna be turned into cards one way or another". Violet said with a look of despair, believing that there's no hope. "Come on Violet, don't you see how Blair is willing to Duel Dr. Crowler to protect us". Evie said to her friend, trying to lift her spirits.

"I'll take the first move!" Blair stated as she looked at the cards in her hand, before she picked one. "First I'll set a monster face down in DEF Mode!" Blair began as a shadowy caged monster appeared in front of her. "Then I'll set a face down card and end my turn!" The 13-year-old finished as a face down card appeared on her field.

Crowler Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 5.

"You call that a move? Allow me to show you a real one! My turn now, I draw!" Crowler scoffed as he drew a card from his deck and looked at it, before playing it. "I'll start by activating the Spell, Magnet Circle LV2!" Crowler exclaimed as the Spell appeared on the field. "This allows me to Special Summon a Level 2 or lower Machine type monster like my Ancient Gear!" Crowler explained as a gear like monster appeared in front of him.

Ancient Gear ATK Points: 100/ Level: 2.

"Now since I control an Ancient Gear monster, I can Special Summon my second Ancient Gear from my hand!" Crowler called out as another Ancient Gear appeared in front of him.

"Now before I make my big move, I'll activate my Spell card Ancient Gear Castle!" Crowler continued as another Spell card appeared next to him. "For starters this card gives all my Ancient Gear monsters 300 extra ATK Points!" Crowler explained his Spell's effect as both Ancient Gears powered up.

Ancient Gear # 1 ATK Points: 100 + 300 = 400.

Ancient Gear # 2 ATK Points: 100 + 300 = 400.

"Now I sacrifice these two Ancient Gears to Summon a more powerful creature, the Ancient Gear Golem!" Crowler cried out as the two ancient gears disappeared and a giant machine golem with a red light as an eye appeared, towering over even the buildings.

Ancient Gear Golem ATK Points: 3000 + 300 = 3300/ Level: 8.

Marcel and Evie looked up at Ancient Gear Golem in disbelief, while Blair narrowed her eyes. "I reveal my Trap, Spirit Barrier!" Blair called out as her face down card revealed itself. "So long as I control a monster, I take no battle damage". Blair explained her Trap's effect, making Crowler frown. "Impressive, with this Ancient Gear Golem's piercing damage effect will be useless, but that doesn't mean your monster is safe! Go Gear Golem, attack!" Crowler commanded as Ancient Gear Golem thrust out its right fist at Blair's shadowy caged monster.

The shadowy caged monster revealed to be a sort of egg of some sort, before it was destroyed. "You destroyed Thunder Dragonmatrix and since it was sent from the field to the graveyard, I can add another one from my deck to my hand!" Blair explained her destroyed monster's effect as a card slotted out of her deck and she added it to her hand.

"Add a thousand copies of that useless monster, it'll do no good. I'll place a facedown card and end my turn". Crowler said as a face down card appeared on his field.

"Why does she even bother? We're gonna be turned into cards no matter how hard we try". Violet said with no life in her eyes, making Blair grit her teeth in frustration. "No we're not, just watch!" Blair told the black haired female as she drew her card, looking at it before she added it to her hand.

"I activate the Spell card, Gold Sarcophagus!" Blair began as she slotted the card into her Duel Disk with the Spell appearing on the field. "This Spell lets me search my deck, choose any card, remove it from play for two turns and after two turns, I get to add it to my hand". Blair explained as she took out her deck and searched through it.

Blair took a card and placed her deck back into the deck zone. "I choose to remove from play Thunder Dragonroar!" Blair revealed as she placed the card in her pocket. "At this moment Thunder Dragonroar's special ability activates! When this card is banished or removed from play, I can Special Summon one Thunder Dragon from my deck in DEF Mode! Now arise Thunder Dragondark!" Blair explained as a stroke of thunder came down from the sky and slammed into the ground in front of her, revealing Thunder Dragondark, with the dragon roaring.

"With Thunder Dragondark now on my field, I'll activate the effect of the Thunder Dragon in my hand!" Blair continued as she picked a card from her hand and showed it to Crowler. A green serpent dragon appeared and roared. "By sending this card to the graveyard, I can add two more copies to my hand!" Blair explained as she discarded the card as two cards slotted out of her Duel Disk and she added them to her hand.

"Now I sacrifice Thunder Dragondark to Special Summon Thunder Dragon Colossus from my Extra Deck!" Blair exclaimed as she held up her right hand while Thunder Dragondark turned into sparkles. "What!? You can't do that!" Crowler called out in surprise, having not expected this.

"I actually can if I activated a Thunder monster's special ability from my hand! Now descend Thunder Dragon Colossus!" Blair cried out as a dark skin dragon with red eyes appeared, roaring.

Thunder Dragon Colossus ATK Points: 2600/ Level: 8.

"Awesome, she Summoned a Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck without Fusion Summoning it". Evie said in awe at how Blair summoned Thunder Dragon Colossus. "Dragondark's effect allows me to add a Thunder Dragon card from my deck to my hand if it's banished or sent from the field to the graveyard!" Blair explained as a card slotted out of her deck and she added it to her hand. "I'll set a card face down!" The 13-year-old continued as a face down card appeared on her field.

"Now I'll activate the Spell card, Polymerization!" Blair called out as the Spell appeared on her field. "With this card's power, I'll fuse the two Thunder Dragons in my hand!" Blair explained as she held up the two Thunder Dragons' cards with the two serpent dragons appearing, before they were absorbed into a fusion portal. "I Fusion Summon Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon!" Blair cried out as a two headed dragon flew out of the portal, roaring.

Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon ATK Points: 2800/ Level: 7.

"Then I'll equip Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon with the United We Stand Equip Spell card!" Blair said as she slotted the card into her Duel Disk with the Spell appearing on her field. "This will increase my Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon's ATK Points by 800 points for every monster on my field! I have two monsters on my field, so that's 1600 ATK Points!" Blair explained as an orange aura surrounded Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon.

Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon ATK Points: 2800 + 1600 = 4400.

"It has more ATK Points than Ancient Gear Golem has!" Marcel called out in joy at seeing Blair's Twin-Headed Dragon now stronger than Ancient Gear Golem. "Go Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, attack Ancient Gear Golem!" Blair commanded as Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon fired thunder blasts from its horns at Ancient Gear Golem, destroying the Machine type monster. (4400 – 3300 = 1100)

Crowler Life Points: 4000 – 1100 = 2900.

"How do you like that?" The 13-year-old asked with a smirk on her face, one that Crowler returned. "I actually like that very much actually, because I can activate the Trap Necro Fusion!" Crowler called out as his face down card revealed itself, making Blair's eyes widen in surprise. "This Trap allows me to Fusion Summon using monsters in my graveyard, but they are banished and are removed from play". Crowler explained as he held up Ancient Gear Golem and the two Ancient Gear's cards.

"I remove Ancient Gear Golem and the two Ancient Gears in my graveyard!" Crowler exclaimed as Ancient Gear Golem and the two Ancient Gears reappeared behind him, before they were pulled into a purple fusion portal. "Watch as these three Ancient Gears merge together to form the ultimate machine of destruction! I Fusion Summon Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!" Crowler yelled out as a four-legged Ancient Gear Golem appeared from the portal, much larger than the previous Ancient Gear Golem.

Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem ATK Points: 4400 + 300 = 4700/ Level: 10.

"That's the ultimate ancient gear monster!" Evie cried out in disbelief at seeing the Fusion Monster as Blair gritted her teeth since she couldn't continue her direct attack. "I'll end my turn here". Blair declared her turn over, having nothing else to do.

Crowler Life Points: 2900/ Number of cards in hand: 0.

"It's my turn now, I draw!" Crowler called out as he drew his card before looking at it. "I activate the Spell card, Pot of Greed!" Crowler called out as he slotted the card into his Duel vest with the Spell appearing on his field. "With this I draw two new cards". The Doctor explained as he drew two more cards and looked at them, though he did frown at one of them.

"I activate the Spell card, Heavy Storm!" Crowler called out as he held the Spell card out with his right hand's thumb, index and middle fingers, while he held the other card with his pinky and ring fingers. "This card destroys all Spell and Trap cards on the field!" Crowler explained as a powerful wind came out of the Spell card, forcing Blair, Evie and Marcel to cover their eyes.

Blair's Spirit Barrier and United We Stand cards were destroyed, along with her face card that was revealed to be Thunder Dragon Discharge. Even Crowler's Ancient Gear Castle was destroyed.

Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon ATK Points: 4400 – 1600 = 2800.

Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem ATK Points: 4700 – 300 = 4400.

"Now Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, attack Thunder Dragon Colossus!" Crowler ordered as Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem charged at Colossus and slammed its metal claw at the dragon, making it cry out as it exploded, creating a powerful whirlwind that almost blew Blair off her feet. (4400 – 2600 = 1800)

Blair Life Points: 4000 – 1800 = 2200.

"Now I activate the Spell, Ancient Gear Strike Two!" Crowler exclaimed as he slotted the card into his Duel vest with the Spell appearing. The image showed an Ancient Gear Golem attack an Elemental Hero Flame Wingman with both its fists.

"With this Spell my dear, my Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem can now attack again". Crowler explained with a smirk, making Blair widen her eyes in shock as Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem destroyed Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, creating an explosion. (4400 – 2800 = 1600)

Blair Life Points: 2200 – 1600 = 600.

The force from the attack was so strong that it blew Blair off her feet. She slammed back onto the ground on her beck, groaning. "Blair!" Marcel called out in concern for his friend. "Now do you see? No matter what we do, we can't win. Duel Academy's unstoppable and nothing can stop them". Violet commented with an empty look on her face, devoid of life.

Blair gritted her teeth as she forced herself back to her feet. She had scratches all over her arms and even her jacket had tears in it. "That's where you're wrong Violet; it's only hopeless if we really think that. As long as people fight, Duel Academy will never win. If we believe in ourselves, we will defeat them someday". Blair told the black haired girl without facing her, her eyes focused on the Duel at hand.

What Blair said got Violet to slightly widen her eyes as a little life appeared in them. Marcel and Evie were surprised at what Blair said, while Crowler laughed. "Hahaha, are you serious right now? You don't have anything on your field and a useless Level 1 monster in your hand. There is no scenario where you win this Duel!" Crowler laughed out crazily with his hands on his hips.

"That's where you're wrong Doctor. There is one scenario, and I just need one card to make it happen". Blair replied to Dr. Crowler as she looked down at her deck and closed her eyes.

Blair Life Points: 600/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

Blair placed her right hand's index and middle fingers on her deck, concentrating on her belief in her deck. 'Believe in my cards, that's what Yusei taught me. He said that my deck is a reflection of myself and if I believe in both myself and my deck, I will be reward. My deck, please answer me'. The 13-year-old female thought to herself, believing in her deck.

"It's my…turn!" Blair called out as she drew her card with her right hand's index and middle fingers. Blair slowly opened her eyes as she looked over the corner of her right eye as she flipped the card over and saw that it was the Spell card, Thunder Dragon Fusion. Blair smiled at seeing what it was. "Just what I needed". Blair stated, getting everyone curious on what she drew.

"I activate the Spell card Thunder Dragon Fusion!" Blair called out as she slotted the card into her Duel Disk with the Spell appearing in front of her. "You drew a Fusion card? Shame you don't have anything to fuse". Crowler commented with a smirk on his face, making Blair smirk right back at him.

"That's where you're wrong Doctor, because Thunder Fusion allows me to Fusion Summon using monsters on my field, graveyard or removed from play". Blair explained with a smirk on her face, making everyone widen their eyes. Three cards slotted out of Blair's Duel Disk with the female picking them up to reveal that they were Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon and two Thunder Dragons.

"I return Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon to my extra deck and the two Thunder Dragons to my deck". Blair said as she returned the two Thunder Dragons to her deck and the Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon to the extra deck. The three dragons appeared above Blair, before they were absorbed into a light blue portal. "I fuse these three dragons to create the ultimate Thunder Dragon! I Fusion Summon Thunder Dragon Hydra King!" Blair cried out to the heavens as her new Thunder Dragon revealed itself.

It was a three headed silvery-white four-legged Hydra Dragon with wings on its backs. The three heads all head silver eyes and razor sharp fangs in its mouth. Going down from the back of the necks of the three heads were spikes that went down to the tail. Thunder Dragon Hydra King's three heads all roared, creating a powerful shockwave.

Marcel, Evie and even Violet looked at the new dragon in awe as it easily matched Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem in size. Crowler looked at the new Fusion Monster in awe, before he started chuckling. "I'll admit that it's impressive that you've managed to Fusion Summon a powerful monster, but I'm afraid that it's no good because my Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem is still stronger". Crowler chuckled with a confident look on his face.

Blair kept smirking, knowing that this Duel was over. "That's where you're wrong Crowler, this Duel is gonna end in my victory!" Blair called out as she held out her right hand. "Hydra King's special ability activates! If this card was Fusion Summoned using a Thunder Dragon Fusion Monster, I can target one monster my opponent controls and my Hydra King gains that monster's ATK Points!" Blair explained with a smirk on her face as everyone widened their eyes in shock.

"Go Electrical Discharge!" Blair called out as the three heads of Hydra King each unleashed electrical surges from their mouths at Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, draining its power.

Thunder Dragon Hydra King ATK Points: 4000 + 4400 = 8400.

"8400 ATK Point!?" Marcel exclaimed in disbelief as he, Evie and even Violet looked at Hydra King in shock. "This can't be possible! How can I be losing?" Crowler questioned in disbelief at how he's gonna lose. "It's because I didn't give up hope!" Blair answered Crowler, getting everyone to look at her with wide eyes.

"I've learned from someone important that if you give into despair, you have truly lost! That's why even when it seems hopeless, never give up on hope and that's how I've won this Duel! And we'll keep winning until the day Duel Academy is defeated!" Blair continued to explain with narrowed eyes, getting Evie and Violet to look at her in awe, while Marcel was blushing a bit.

"Go Hydra King, attack Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem and end this! Thunder King's Stream!" Blair commanded as Hydra King's three heads unleashed streams from their mouths at Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem. The streams all merged into one and stroke Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, making the Machine type monster explode and even blew Crowler off his feet. (8400 – 4400 = 4000)

Crowler Life Points: 2900 – 4000 = 0.

Winner: Blair!

Crowler slammed into the ground unconscious from the force of the attack with Hydra King disappearing. Blair gave a wink, before she turned to face Marcel, Evie and Violet, who were facing her in awe. "Now that the he-she thing is sleeping like a baby, let's get going before he wakes up". Blair told the three teenagers as she took the lead and began walking back to the You Show School's hideout with Evie, Marcel and Violet following her, leaving the knocked out Dr. Crowler alone.

(Back with Yusei)

Back at the harbor, Yusei kept his guard up as he faced the grinning Yuri as he was about to draw his card. Both Duelists had their monsters on their field with Yusei having three face down cards.

Yusei Life Points: 2900/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

Yuri Life Points: 3700/ Number of cards in hand: 2.

"My turn now!" Yuri called out as he drew his card and looked at it, causing his grin to widen. "I first set a face down card…!" Yuri began as a face down card appeared on his field. "…Then I'll equip Dragostapelia with the Equip Spell, Black Pendant!" Yuri continued as the Spell appeared on his field. "This Spell increases my monster's ATK Points by 500 points, making Dragostapelia stronger than your Road Warrior". Yuri finished with a grin as a purple aura surrounded Dragostapelia.

Predaplant Dragostapelia ATK Points: 2700 + 500 = 3200.

"Now Dragostapelia, attack and destroy Road Warrior!" Yuri commanded as he held out his right hand as purple mist began to come out of Dragostapelia's wings. "Road Warrior isn't going anywhere! By removing Shield Warrior from the graveyard, Road Warrior gets to stick around!" Yusei called out as Shield Warrior's card slotted out of his Duel Disk and he took it.

Shield Warrior appeared briefly in front of Road Warrior and blew away the mist, before disappearing. "But you still take damage!" Yuri pointed out as Yusei didn't even flinch as his Life Points went down. (3200 – 3000 = 200)

Yusei Life Points: 2900 – 200 = 2700.

"Your move now Yusei". Yuri told his opponent with a grin on his face, one that Yusei glared at as he moved to draw his card.

Yusei Life Points: 2700/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

"My turn now!" Yusei called out as he drew his card from his deck with his right hand's index and middle fingers, looking at it for a few moments, before thrusting his right hand out. "Road Warrior attack Predaplant Dragostapelia with Lightning Claw!" Yusei commanded Road Warrior as the Synchro Monster charged at the Fusion Monster with its right claw covered in lightning.

"Are you idiotic? My Dragostapelia is stronger than your warrior, remember?" Yuri questioned with a frown on his face, wondering why Yusei was attacking. "That isn't the case if I discard Rush Warrior from my hand!" Yusei called out as he held out the card he drew, revealing it for a second before he discarded it.

"If a Warrior Synchro Monster I control battles, I can discard this card and double its ATK Points!" Yusei explained with narrowed eyes as Road Warrior was covered in a brown aura as it powered up.

Road Warrior ATK Points: 3000 X 2 = 6000.

"6000 ATK Points!?" Yuri called out in surprise to see Yusei's monster now outclass his monster. Road Warrior slammed its lighting covered claw into Predaplant Dragostapelia, making the Fusion Monster cry out in pain as it was destroyed, creating a shockwave that pushed Yuri back. (6000 – 3200 = 2800)

Yuri Life Points: 3700 – 2800 = 900.

"When Black Pendant is sent from the field to the graveyard, you take 500 points of damage!" Yuri told Yusei as a purple aura surrounded the 19-year-old, who paid no attention to it.

Yusei Life Points: 2700 – 500 = 2200.

"With Dragostapelia destroyed, Road Warrior can now use its special abilities, but I feel safe at the moment, so I'll end my turn here". Yusei said to Yuri, having nothing else to do.

Road Warrior ATK Points: 6000 – 3000 = 3000.

Yuri Life Points: 900/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

Yuri was silent as his bangs were covering his eyes, before he began lightly laughing, before it turned crazily. "Amazing, you've overcome everything I've thrown at you! Guess it can't be helped, I'll have to get serious! My turn now, draw!" Yuri laughed out crazily with the look of a predator in his eyes as he drew his card from his deck.

"I activate Predaplant Cordyceps' special ability from the graveyard! During my Standby Phase and removing this card from play, I can Special Summon two Level 4 or below Predaplant monsters from my graveyard! Come forth Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio and Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra!" Yuri explained with a smirk on his face as two portals appeared and Orphrys Scorpio and Darlingtonia Cobra came out.

Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio ATK Points: 1200/ Level: 3.

Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 3.

"I could activate Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra's special ability, but that won't be necessary! Because I have a Polymerization right here and I'll use it!" Yuri exclaimed as he held up the Fusion card with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before he slotted it in his Duel Disk with the Spell appearing between his two Predaplant monsters.

'This is it; he's calling forth his dragon'. The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself as he braced himself. "With this I fuse Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra and Ophrys Scorpio!" Yuri called out as a fusion portal appeared above him and his two Predaplants were absorbed into it. "By crafting these ravenous plants together, I'll create a botanical nightmare! I Fusion Summon! Arise, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri called out with an insane grin as his dragon revealed itself.

With the shadows not covering Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Yusei could see its full appearance and saw that it was indeed terrifying, but Yusei wasn't afraid. Starving Vemon Dragon unleashed a chilling roar as it glared at Yusei and his monsters.

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon ATK Points: 2800/ Level: 8.

"Because of Fusion Treasure's effect, I get to draw a card!" Yuri reminded as he drew another card, but frowned at what it was before he added it to his hand.

"You have my congratulations for forcing me to resort to using my ace monster, so for that I'll make this as painless as possible! I activate Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's special ability!" Yuri cried out as a purple aura began to cover Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. "If this card was Fusion Summon using monsters on the field as Fusion Material, it gains the ATK Points of all Special Summoned monsters you control, like your Turning Supporter and Road Warrior!" The 14-year-old explained as Starving Venom roared as it began to power up.

"Think again Yuri, I activate Effect Veiler's special ability from my hand!" Yusei called out as he discarded the last card in his hand with a green haired female monster with wings appeared in front of him, before turning into sparkles. "During my opponent's Main Phase, I can discard this card and negate the effects of an opponent's monster until the end of the turn!" Yusei explained as the sparkles covered Starving Vemon, causing the purple aura to vanish.

Yuri frowned at seeing this, but continued his move. "Alright then, try this on for size! I activate the Trap Fusion Essence!" Yuri called out as his face down card revealed itself. "By removing a Fusion Monster from my graveyard like my Dragostapelia, Starving Venom gains his ATK Points! I think its 2700 ATK Points will give me the edge I need!" Yuri explained with a crazy grin as he took Predaplant Dragostapelia's card and put it in his pocket.

A purple aura covered Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, with the Fusion Monster roaring out as it powered up.

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon ATK Points: 2800 + 2700 = 5500.

"Now it's been a long time since I cracked open a math book, but I'm pretty sure this will reduce your Life Points to 0 if this attack succeeds". Yuri remarked with an insane look on his face, but Yusei wasn't threatened. "Not today, I play the Trap Synchro Strike!" Yusei called out as one of his three face downs revealed itself. "This card gives a Synchro Monster I control 500 ATK Points for every monster used to Synchro Summon it! Since Road Warrior was Synchro Summoned using three monsters, that's 1500 ATK Points!" Yusei explained as his Road Warrior was covered in a white aura.

Road Warrior ATK Points: 3000 + 1500 = 4500.

Yuri had an annoyed look on his face at seeing this, but continued on. "Go Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, attack Road Warrior!" Yuri commanded his dragon as Starving Venom's tail burst out, before revealing a mouth that was large and swallowed Road Warrior. (5500 – 4500 = 1000)

Yusei Life Points: 2200 – 1000 = 1200.

"Road Warrior". Yusei whispered in anger for the fate of his monster. "You may have survived this turn, but next turn is where I end this duel once and for all. I end my turn here". Yuri said with an annoyed look on his face.

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon ATK Points: 5500 – 2700 = 2800.

Yusei Life Points: 1200/ Number of cards in hand: 0.

'This is bad. I don't have any cards in my hand; I just have Tuning Supporter on my field, two face downs and I can't even use Synchro Chaser at the moment. Everything comes down to this draw'. Yusei thought to himself as he looked down at his deck. 'My cards have never let me down before and I know they won't now. My deck, please answer my call'. The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself as he placed his right hand's thumb, index and middle fingers on the top card of his deck.

With his eyes closed, Yusei drew his card in a dramatic fashion. Yusei opened his eyes as he turned the card over and saw that it was Debris Dragon, making him smile. "Exactly what I needed". Yusei said out loud, making Yuri narrow his eyes, wondering what Yusei drew. 'I am ready to fight old friend'. A familiar voice said from within Yusei's Extra Deck, making the Shooting Star of Satellite look down at it for a moment before he nodded.

"Here goes everything! I Summon Debris Dragon in ATK Mode!" Yusei cried out as he placed the card on the blade with Debris Dragon appearing on his field with a roar.

Debris Dragon ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 4.

"When Debris Dragon is Normal Summoned, he can bring out a monster with less than 500 ATK Points to the field from my graveyard, like Synchron Carrier!" Yusei explained his monster's effect as Synchron Carrier reappeared next to Debris Dragon.

Synchron Carrier ATK: 0/ Level: 2.

"When Tuning Supporter is used to Synchro Summon, he counts as a Level 2 Monster!" Yusei explained his monster's effect as Tuning Supporter's Level went up.

Tuning Supporter Level: 1 + 1 = 2.

Yusei brought out a card from his extra deck and looked at it, seeing that it was his ace monster, Stardust Dragon. "It's time old friend, let's do this". Yusei said to his ace monster as he turned to face Yuri and his Starving Venom Fusion Dragon.

Debris Dragon burst into an orange light before becoming four lights that flew into the air, before transforming into green rings. Both Tuning Supporter and Synchron Carrier all flew into the four rings, turning transparent as they scanned them. Two lights appeared in the two monsters separately. "I Synchro Summon…!" Yusei began with his voice full of passion and life, much to everyone's surprise as a beam appeared and consumed the lights and rings.

"STARDUST DRAGON!" The Shooting Star of Satellite cried out to the heavens as he placed his favorite monster's card on the blade before holding up his right hand. From the beam of light came Yusei's ace monster, Stardust Dragon! "RRRRRAAAAA!" The legendary Synchro Monster roared out as he spread his wings and took flight into the sky, with glittering stars surrounding him.

Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 8.

Everyone throughout the Fusion Dimension gasped in awe, disbelief and joy at seeing Stardust Dragon, feeling indescribable feelings from seeing it. Even Leo Akaba, who was watching on a Duel Academy Helicopter that was heading over to the harbor, gasped at seeing the beautiful dragon.

Back in the You Show School, everyone, including Lulu, Rin, Yusho, Alexis, even the recently arrived Blair, Evie, Marcel and Violet gasped at seeing Stardust Dragon. Yusho had gathered all the students to the Dueling Arena and enlarged the screen big enough for everyone to watch, and now he felt good about doing that because he didn't want anyone missing out on this.

"Beautiful…" Lulu said with a wide smile on her face, feeling indescribable feelings from seeing Yusei's ace monster. "I never thought a Synchro Monster like this existed". Rin commented in awe, feeling herself fall in love with Stardust Dragon. "Stardust Dragon…it's even more beautiful in person". Blair said with her cheeks red and her hands together.

Yusho looked at all his students and to his surprise, saw all of them looking at Stardust Dragon in awe, amazement and most of all, hope. There was hope in their eyes unlike anything he's ever seen before in his life and it surprised him. 'Yusei's dragon…it's giving everyone hope'. The famous Dueltainer thought to himself as he went back to watching the duel with a bright smile.

Back at the harbor, Yuri was looking at Stardust Dragon in disbelief with the Synchro Dragon easily bigger than his Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, before he shook his head. "Real impressive monster you got there, but I'm afraid it's nothing compared to my Starving Venom Fusion Dragon". Yuri chuckled with a smirk on his face, making Yusei smirk right back at him.

"That's what you think Yuri; I play my Trap Synchro Striker Unit!" Yusei called out as his second face down card revealed itself. "I can equip this card to a Synchro Monster I control like my Stardust Dragon and it gains 1000 ATK Points!" Yusei explained his Trap's effect as green energy came out of Synchro Striker Unit's card and was absorbed into Stardust Dragon, with the Synchro Monster roaring out as it powered up.

Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500 + 1000 = 3500.

"3500 ATK Points!" Yuri called out in surprise at seeing Stardust Dragon now more powerful than his Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. "Go Stardust Dragon; attack Starving Venom Fusion Dragon with Cosmic Flare!" Yusei commanded his ace monster as Stardust gathered energy in his mouth before unleashing its Cosmic Flare attack, which annihilated Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. (3500 – 2800 = 700)

Yuri Life Points: 900 – 700 = 200.

Stardust Dragon's attack created an explosion that forced Yuri to cover his eyes, but eventually it died down. "Hahaha, I've never dueled anyone like you before! You've destroyed Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and no one has ever done that! Unfortunately by doing that, you've lost the Duel!" Yuri said with a grin on his face, making Yusei raise an eyebrow at him.

"And how is that exactly?" Yusei questioned with a frown on his face, making Yuri laugh. "When Starving Venom Fusion Dragon is destroyed, all your Special Summoned monsters are destroyed and you take damage equal to their ATK Points!" Yuri explained with an insane grin on his face, making everyone at the You Show School gasp in horror.

A purple portal appeared in front of Yuri, before Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's tails came out and lashed out towards Stardust with the mouths opening with saliva coming out. "It's been fun, but now you lost!" Yuri laughed out crazily, but Yusei didn't look threatened. "That's where you're wrong!" Yusei exclaimed, making Yuri stop laughing and widen his eyes.

Then, to everyone's surprise, Stardust Dragon grabbed the two tails with his bare claws, stopping them. "What the heck?!" Yuri called out in surprise as he took a step back. "When a Spell, Trap or monster effect that destroys cards on the field activates, I can sacrifice Stardust Dragon to negate and destroy that card!" Yusei began to explain as Stardust Dragon and the two tails turned into sparkles and disappeared. Yusei's Synchro Striker Unit Trap card shattered into pieces.

"And at the End Phase, it returns to the field". Yusei finished explaining as Yuri's grin intensified. "Amazing, you avoided Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's special ability! This is so much fun, I'm gonna keep you as a trophy when I turn you into a card!" Yuri laughed out crazily, but Yusei frowned at him. "This duel is over". Yusei stated, making the 14-year-old stop laughing and look at him with narrowed eyes.

"What?" Yuri questioned the Shooting Star of Satellite for the meaning of his words. "Everything I did in this Duel has lead to this moment, the moment where you pay for turning innocent people into cards and taking Lulu and Rin away from their homes. No matter what you or Duel Academy will throw at me, I'll never give up; I will defeat you and Leo Akaba one day. This is the power of hope". Yusei told the 14-year-old as his mark of the Crimson Dragon began glowing, as if the Crimson Dragon was cheering his Signer on.

That was when Yuri took notice of Yusei's last face down card, the card he's had on his first turn, making him widen his eyes in horror. "I-I-Impossible". Yuri said in disbelief that Yusei planned ahead this far. "This is my power, the power to create a new future by believing in each other! I reveal the Trap card, Stardust Wish!" Yusei cried out to the heavens as he thrust his right fist out with his final face down card revealing itself.

Sparkles began to reappear, beginning to merge together. "If a Stardust Synchro Monster I control Tributed itself to activate its effect, this Trap Special Summons it back to the field!" Yusei explained his Trap's effect as the sparkles were blown away to reveal Stardust Dragon, with the Synchro Monster roaring out.

Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 8.

"This…cannot be possible!" Yuri exclaimed in disbelief with his eyes wide as bowling balls. "This is for all the suffering you've inflicted onto Lulu and Rin for taking them away from their homes, families and friends! Go Stardust Dragon; attack Yuri directly with Cosmic Flare!" Yusei shouted out as he thrust out his open right hand.

Stardust Dragon roared out loudly as he gathered energy in his mouth, before he unleashed a large Cosmic Flare at Yuri. Yuri kept staring at the approaching attack in disbelief, before he cried out as Cosmic Flare blew him off his feet and into the air. Landing hard on his back, before rolling around on the ground, Yuri lost consciousness as his Life Points dropped to 0.

Yuri Life Points: 200 – 2500 = 0.

Winner: Yusei!

Everyone watching cried out in celebration for Yusei's victory, including most of the students at Duel Academy that have been watching the Duel in their classrooms. At the You Show School, all the students cried out in joy as they applauded for Yusei's victory. "Yusei…thank you". Lulu whispered in joy at seeing justice delivered to the man who took her away from her home.

"You're awesome Yusei, maybe even more than Jack Atlas!" Rin exclaimed in excitement as she threw her arms in the air. Behind her, Alexis had wide eyes of disbelief that Yusei actually defeated Yuri when so many tried and failed. "Incredible". The 16-year-old whispered in disbelief with her hands over her mouth. "Well done Yusei'. Yusho said with a proud smile on his face for Yusei's victory.

Back at the harbor, Yusei looked up at Stardust Dragon and gave him a smile. "You were awesome out there Stardust". Yusei praised his dragon, getting the Synchro Monster to look at his Duelist and give him what appeared to be a smile. 'Thank you Yusei, I'll always be here for you when you need me'. Stardust told his Duelist as he looked back into the sky and gave one final cry before he disappeared in sparkles.

Yusei then looked at the knocked out Yuri lying down on the ground. Before Yusei could even do anything, strong winds came out of nowhere, making the Shooting Star of Satellite widen his eyes in surprise. "Where'd this wind come from?" Yusei questioned as he looked above to see a helicopter coming down from the sky.

The copter landed a bit behind Yuri, before the left door opened to reveal the Professor himself, Leo Akaba, who jumped out of the helicopter. "So that's Leo Akaba". Yusei commented as he looked at Leo Akaba and compared him to what he looked like so long ago in the United World.

Leo Akaba walked up to the unconscious Yuri and looked down at him in disappointment, before he looked up at the man who took his daughter's Synchro and Xyz pieces away from him. "So, you are the one who took the girls from the towers, yes?" Leo asked Yusei with the 19-year-old narrowing his eyes at him.

"That's right." Yusei replied to the mad scientist, keeping both his guard up and temper in check. "I would greatly appreciate it if you'd return them to me. You see that they are both invaluable pieces for my plans, and I assure you that they will not be harmed". Leo said with false sincerity, however Yusei could tell from years of experience that he was lying through his teeth.

"Sorry, I have no intention of handing over Lulu or Rin to you so that you can sacrifice their lives for the sake of your selfish ambitions". Yusei replied to the Professor of Duel Academy, making him widen his eyes by the younger man's words, more so about the fact he somehow knew a hidden part of his plans for the two girls. However, he continued to feigning ignorance, hoping he could reach an agreement of sorts with Yusei.

"I assure you we have no intentions of harming those two girls, but you must understand that they are crucial to helping Duel Academy fulfill its noble ambition of uniting the four dimensions and creating a utopia". Leo said to Yusei, getting him to tightened his fists so hard that blood could come out.

Just the thought of Leo Akaba sacrificing Lulu and Rin put Yusei in a rage unlike any other he's felt before, much like when Martha was absorbed into Earthbound Immortal Uru. "You mean a utopia created through destroying the homes of innocent people, turning them into cards, while your students laugh and act like it's some kind of sick game!" Yusei shouted out as he pointed at Leo with his right hand's index finger. "There's nothing beautiful about the world you're trying to create, no one wants this except you!" The Shooting Star of Satellite continued to shout out, his rage for all the crimes Leo has done clearly showing.

"You attacked Heartland City, a place that was already happy and peaceful with no concern for its inhabitants. Men, women, children, duelist or not, you attacked and hunted them with no discrimination and for what!?" Yusei continued, before swiping his right hand out to the side. "If you wish to create your own so called utopia, why don't you stick to creating one in this world and leave the other dimensions out of it!" Yusei exclaimed, making Leo frown as he began to feel annoyed.

"This is what's best for everyone, the four dimensions can only prosper when joined together, it may take some adjusting but in time..." Leo attempted to speak, but Yusei cut him off once again. "But what!? Everyone will just go along with the world you forced them to live in? The students of Duel Academy will be looked upon as heroes? That's nothing but a load of lies! The only thing that you'll earn is hatred from the people whose lives you ruined for your own selfish ambition!" Yusei exclaimed with narrowed eyes as his mark of the Crimson Dragon glowed brightly, as if it shared Yusei's rage.

"Besides, I know that isn't your true goal! Your true goal is to revive your daughter Ray!" Yusei revealed, making Leo's eyes widen in disbelief, while the people of the Fusion Dimension were surprised at what they heard. "How do you know that name?" Leo shouted out at Yusei, finally stop feigning ignorance, now wanting to know how Yusei knows about his daughter.

"It's not just her I know about, I know about Z-arc and the United World". Yusei revealed, increasing Leo's disbelief at how much the Shooting Star of Satellite knew. "If that's true, then you should understand why I'm doing this!" Leo shouted out at Yusei, who gritted his teeth at him. "What I understand is that you're dishonoring Ray's sacrifice! And what's worse you plan to end the lives of four innocent girls to bring your daughter back! You're no hero; you're just a selfish man who will do whatever he sees as necessary to get what he wants, even running people's lives!" Yusei continued to shout out in anger at the mad scientist, who took a step back in shock.

"You attacked innocent people in Heartland when they did nothing wrong to you, yet you still ruined their lives and changed their home into a battlefield! And what's worst, you stole the futures of those innocent children in Heartland City! You lied and deceived the people of the Fusion Dimension by saying you're teaching their children how to become duelists, but all you're really doing is using them to carry out your demented plans with no concern for them!" Yusei added with his voice filled with anger as everyone in the Fusion Dimension watched him in awe as he stood up to Leo Akaba.

"You never even gave them the choice, not even letting them see their families! Anyone, teacher or student who refused to go along with your plans was turned into a card, and their life force used as nothing more than energy for you and your Arc-V Reactor" Yusei revealed to Leo Akaba, who was in disbelief at how Yusei even knows about the Arc-V Reactor, something he has kept secret.

"Who…who are you?" Leo questioned Yusei, his eyes full of disbelief at everything Yusei's revealed to not just to him, but all the people of this dimension. Yusei held up his right arm, showing his mark of the Crimson Dragon. "My name is Yusei Fudo, and I'm the one who will end your ambition" Yusei declared to Leo as Stardust Dragon reappeared behind him with a loud roar.

Yusei's mark then glowed so brightly that it forced Leo Akaba to cover his eyes for 10 seconds. Eventually, the light died down, allowing Leo to open his eyes, only to widen them when he saw that Yusei, his Duel Runner and Stardust Dragon have all disappeared without a trace. "Yusei…Fudo…" Leo Akaba said to himself with narrowed eyes, now knowing the identity of perhaps his greatest enemy.

Everyone in the Dueling arena stared at the screen in awe and admiration at how Yusei not only stood up to Leo Akaba, but escaped as well. Lulu grew tears in her eyes upon hearing Yusei's words, now seeing that he was indeed their hope for a brighter future than before. "Yusei…" Lulu said as her tears went down her face, now feeling hope she hasn't felt in a long time.

Rin had a look of admiration on her face at how Yusei faced the mad scientist with no fear at all. "So cool…you're so cool Yusei, a lot cooler than even Jack Atlas". Rin said in awe, now beginning to admire Yusei even more than before. Blair, Marcel, Evie, Violet and Alexis had looks of awe after watching what they just witnessed. Yusho had a proud smile on his face, proud of Yusei for standing up to his old friend.

The sounds of the door opening caught everyone's attention as they looked to see, and to their surprise, Yusei entering the arena. "Hey guys". Yusei greeted with a smile, as if the whole ordeal he just went through didn't happen. "YUSEI!" Lulu and Rin cried out as they ran over to the 19-year-old and hugged him in relief, who returned the hug.

All the students, including Blair, Marcel, Evie and Violet began gathering around Yusei, asking him questions, his autographs or even to Duel him, much to his slight surprise. Yusho and Alexis watched as the students crowded around Yusei in admiration as if he was a hero. "Yusei really is special, isn't he?" Alexis asked her teacher as she watched Yusei attempt to fulfill the children's desires.

"Yes, yes he is". Yusho answered as he watched the children, especially Lulu look at Yusei with hope in their eyes.

An hour has passed since Yusei returned to the You Show School's hideout and it has been interesting for him. He had to answer questions the students asked him, mostly about Stardust Dragon, write down autographs and had to have a few Duels. If was quite the experience for the Shooting Star of Satellite.

An hour has passed with it now being 11:30am. In the Dueling Arena was Yusei, Lulu, Rin, Alexis, Yusho and Blair. Yusei had his Duel Disk on with wires connected from his Duel Runner to his Duel Disk, and to the two You Show School's Duel Disks that Lulu and Rin were using. Lulu and Rin's original Duel Disks were lost to Duel Academy when they were captured, so Yusho gave them two Duel Disks to substitute them. Lulu's Duel Disk was black and had a purple blade when activated and Rin's Duel Disk was icy green with a green blade when activated as well.

Yusei, Lulu and Rin were standing beside each other next to Yusei's Duel Runner, finally ready to leave the Fusion Dimension once and for all, while Yusho, Alexis and Blair were there to see them off. "Well, I guess this is it". Blair said with a sad smile on her face that Yusei was leaving. Yusei took notice of Blair's sad smile, so he rubbed her head with his right hand. "This isn't goodbye, just a 'see ya later'. We'll meet again someday". Yusei told the young 13-year-old with a smile, getting her to look at him in surprise, before she smiled happily at him.

Yusei took his hand off Blair's head as Alexis walked up to him, getting Yusei to look at her. "I'll admit that we had a rough start, but I'm really glad to have met you Yusei Fudo". Alexis said as she held her right hand out to Yusei for a handshake, one that he accepted. "I'm glad to have met you too Alexis, keep up the fight against Duel Academy". Yusei replied to the dark blond haired girl, who nodded with an eager smile.

Then Yusho walked up to Yusei, who faced the older male. "Yusei, you have my thanks for showing me Leo's past and for bringing hope to my students. I could never thank you enough". Yusho told the younger male, really grateful to have met him. "It was no trouble Yusho. I should be thanking you for your help and giving me a fun duel". Yusei replied to the older male as he and Yusho shook hands.

Yusho then gave Yusei two letters, getting the 19-year-old to look at them. "These two letters are for my wife, Yoko and son, Yuya. In Standard, we lived in a city called Paradise City. I suggest staying at my house with my family for the time being, you can trust them". Yusho told Yusei about his home dimension, its city and his family. "I'll keep that in mind Yusho". Yusei replied as he put the two letters away in his pockets.

"Oh Yusei, before I forget, take this". Yusho said as he brought out a card and held it out to Yusei with his right hand, allowing the Shooting Star of Satellite to see, to his surprise, that it was Smile World. "I can't take this, it's your card". Yusei replied to Yusho as he looked back at him, who chuckled. "It's alright, take it. I have a lot more anyway". Yusho said as he held up his left hand and revealed 10 more Smile Worlds, making Yusei sweat drop a bit.

"And who knows, you might be able to use that card in ways that I myself never thought possible". Yusho added with a smile as he held out the Smile World card to Yusei once more. Yusei looked down at the card, before he took it from Yusho. "Thank you, I'll make sure to put this card to good use". The Shooting Star of Satellite promised his friend as he shuffled Smile World into his deck.

Yusho looked grateful, but then had a serious look. "Yusei, if it isn't too much to ask, I'd like one more favor". The famous Dueltainer told the 19-year-old, getting him curious on what this last favor is. "What is it?" The Shooting Star of Satellite asked, wondering what Yusho wants him to do. "If it's not too much trouble, I'd like you to help my son Yuya". Yusho answered, getting Yusei even more curious on why Yusho wanted him to help Yuya.

"You see, my son has always admired me, but so much that he wants to become like me. I've tried to tell him to Duel his own way, but he never understood and continued to be like me. I want him to be his own Duelist, not like me. I've figured that someone like you can help him where I failed. I know that what I'm asking might be…difficult, but I'd still like your help". Yusho explained to the Shooting Star of Satellite about his favor, getting Yusei to narrow his eyes a bit, before he nodded to Yusho.

"Alright, I'll do what I can do". Yusei promised Yusho, receiving a thankful look from him. "Thank you Yusei". Yusho thanked his new comrade, who nodded to him, before Yusei turned to face Lulu and Rin. "You ready you two?" Yusei asked the two teenage girls, who nodded to him eagerly. "You bet I am". Rin said with a wink, while Lulu turned to look at Yusho and give him a short bow.

"I'm happy I got to see you again teacher, I hope you'll be alright". Lulu said to the famous Dueltainer, who gave her a gentle smile. "I'm happy as well, that I had the chance to see you again Lulu. Remember to Duel with a smile on your face". Yusho replied to his student, who nodded eagerly to him. "I will". Lulu replied to Yusho as she turned to face Yusei, who gave her a smile as he looked down at the touch screen of his Duel Disk.

Yusei then pressed on the screen, activating the interdimensional Travel system. "Interdimensional Travel protocol activate". The female Ai voice said, before Yusei's, Rin's and Lulu's Duel Disks and the Duel Runner began to shine a white glow that soon blinded Yusho, Alexis and Blair. When the light died down, Yusei, his Duel Runner, Lulu and Rin were gone. 'Good luck out there Yusei'. Yusho thought to himself with determined eyes, wishing his comrade good luck.

(Meanwhile at Duel Academy Island)

At Duel Academy Island's courtyard, a wide awake Yuri was sitting down on a bench, looking down with a look of disbelief on his face. Leo Akaba had took him back to Duel Academy Island to recover from his Duel against Yusei Fudo, but Yuri's pride was unable to be healed from his defeat. After he was healed, Yuri left the medical center without a word and has spent the last 30 minutes sitting on the bench without a word.

'How could this have happened? How could I have lost to some random guy?' The 14-year-old thought to himself in disbelief, still refusing to believe that he lost to Yusei. "So this is what you're doing after your defeat to that guy, huh?" A female voice asked in front of Yuri, getting him to look to see Ray's fusion piece, Celina standing in front of him with her hands on her hips.

"What do you want Celina?" Yuri asked in a tone that showed he wasn't in the mood for her constant requests for a rematch in hopes to defeat him. "I was wondering how you were doing after your duel against that Yusei guy". Celina answered her peer, getting him to slightly widen his eyes in surprise. "…You saw that?" Yuri asked in surprise that she knew about his Duel and defeat by Yusei.

"The whole school saw that Duel and pretty much everyone's talking about it". The 14-year-old female answered the male, getting him to look down in shame. "So you came here to laugh at my defeat, is that it?" Yuri questioned Celian, who shook her head in denial. "That's not why I came to see you. I wanted to see how you're doing after you lost". Celina explained to the male, assuring him that she hasn't come to laugh at him.

"Well now you've seen me, defeated, ashamed and broken". Yuri said as he kept looking down at the ground in shame, getting Celina to narrow her eyes. "Are you really gonna stay like this? The Yuri I know wouldn't be sitting around like this". The 14-year-old female said as she crossed her arms, though Yuri didn't look up at her. "I lost". Yuri simple said, making Celina grit her teeth together in anger.

Slap!

Celina slapped Yuri in the face with her left hand, making him widen his eyes in surprise as he looked at her. "So you lost in a duel, get over it! What matters is getting back up! So are you gonna stay down like a pathetic loser, or are you gonna get back up, get stronger and have a rematch against that guy!?" Celina exclaimed with narrowed eyes, getting Yuri to place his right hand where she slapped him.

As he felt the pain from the slap, Yuri thought to himself. 'Maybe she's right; I mean I had fun in that Duel unlike all the others I've had. If I want to win against Yusei, I have to get better'. Yuri thought to himself with narrowed eyes full of determination, now regaining his fighting spirit.

"Guess I owe you one Celina-!" Yuri began as he began to stand up from the bench, but his right foot slipped, making him widen his eyes as he was sent falling towards Celina, who widened her eyes as she caught Yuri with her hands around his back. Both were silent as Yuri pulled away and looked into Celina's eyes, who looked right back with the two teens silent as they gazed into each other's eyes.

Unknown to the two teenagers was that Leo Akaba was watching them from inside his throne room on a monitor screen, leaning his head on his right arm. Leo Akaba narrowed his eyes at seeing Celina and Yuri gaze into each other's eyes, before he swiped his right arm, making the screen disappear. Another screen appeared in front of Leo Akaba, showing a blond haired man.

"Professor, we've picked up Interdimensional energy somewhere in the main land, but it's gone now". The man told Leo Akaba, making the mad scientist narrow his eyes in a dangerous way. 'That could only mean that Yusei took Lulu and Rin and has escaped the Fusion Dimension. Damn him for taking those two away'. The mad scientist cursed Yusei in his head, swearing to find him and make him pay.

"Thank you for telling me this, but have you found what I asked you to search for?" Leo Akaba asked the blond haired man, receiving a nod from him. "Indeed, we've tracked down his exact location". The man replied to the Professor, getting him to smile a bit. "Good. Send Gloria Tyler to retrieve him at one". Leo Akaba ordered as another screen appeared in front of him.

"At once Professor". The man said with a salute as his screen disappeared, leaving Leo Akaba to look at the remaining screen. The screen showed an 18-year-old male that had blue hair sectioned in three layers, blue eyes positioned directly beneath the bangs of the layer closest to his face. He was wearing a black overcoat over a black shirt, black long pants with red lines on them, black boots and a belt with the letter 'R' on it.

'I never thought I had to resort to calling you back here after our last discussion. But this…Yusei Fudo is a dangerous man and is probably the most dangerous enemy that Duel Academy will ever face. That's why I'll need your strength once more, Zane Truesdale'. The Professor of Duel Academy thought to himself as the screen changed to show a photo of so long ago, showing Zane Truesdale and the older sister of the Tyler Sisters, Gloria Tyler kissing in the courtyard. 'You better not fail to bring him back Gloria, or else the Tyler Sisters will be down one member'. The mad scientist continued, willing to card Gloria's younger sister if she failed her task to bring Zane back.

(Meanwhile in the Standard Dimension)

In an alleyway, blue particles appeared out of nowhere and revealed Yusei, his Duel Runner, Lulu and Rin standing in the alleyway. "Well that was a 'smooth' ride". Rin remarked with her voice full of sarcasm as she felt a little sick. "Where are we?" Lulu questioned as she looked up above and saw the clear blue sky.

Yusei walked out of the alleyway and into the open streets, looking up at the buildings of Paradise City. "We're in Paradise City of the Standard Dimension, we've left the Fusion Dimension". Yusei answered the 14-year-old as he turned around to face the two girls, who had looks of surprise on their faces at hearing they've really left the Fusion Dimension.

Five trials of cards started to line up in a row, before shining in a flash of light to reveal Paradise City. Yusei was standing in the city with his jacket blowing in the breeze. Yusei started walking through Paradise City, before holding up his right arm as his Duel Disk activated.

"What are you grasping for?"

"What good will it do you"

Yusei stood, looking off to the far left with various cards floating around him in a blue color.

"We're moving forward and we'll make sure to discover what"

"Never-ending sentiments"

"the passionate beats of our hearts"

"and the voice of truth are all what we heard"

Yuya appeared, holding a card in his right hand, before looking off to the right with his own trail of cards floating beside him in a red color.

"We got busted up and we learned"

"of where we can get stronger"

Cards appeared, before they cleared to reveal Yusei's face with his left side coloured black and white as flashes of previous Duels were reflected in his left side. A bright light appeared before it showed Yusei standing in an empty hallway, with the walls and floor made up of his various cards. The walls were made of cards such as Sonic Chick, Quilbolt Hedgehog, Speed Warrior and Junk Synchron. On the floor were Yusei's signature cards, Junk Warrior, Nitro Warrior, Lightning Warrior, Jet Warrior, Stardust Charge Warrior and Turbo Warrior.

"I'll search through the dreams in my hand"

"and one day I'll lead them all to you"

In a dark garage, Yusei started up his Duel Runner as his Duel Disk activated, before he placed his helmet on. The garage door opened and Yusei shot out aboard his Duel Runner. Yusei rode through the streets of Paradise City, passing through a park, where Lulu, Celina, Rin and Zuzu were. The three girls waved at Yusei as he passed by. Yusei drove through the You Show School, where Ally, Frederick, Tate, Yuya, Gong, Skip and Sora waved at him.

"Shouting the signal for the START"

"we'll do what our hearts want"

"and vault over our cramped"

"and mediocre lives"

Yusei drove off a bridge as the crimson energy appeared around his Duel Runner, before it formed crimson wings. Yusei flew past Leo tower, looking straight ahead.

"We'll make a DASH"

"and attain every bit of our brilliant futures"

Jet Warrior, Lightning Warrior, and Stardust Charge Warrior all appeared and lined up in the sky, before a pillar of light appeared and absorbed them. From the pillar of light came Stardust Dragon, who roared as it flew through the sky.

"Embracing the bonds we so believe in"

"we'll race toward tomorrow"

Stardust Dragon trailed behind his master as they flew through Paradise City, leaving a shinning trail behind. The trail lighted up, before it cleared to reveal Yusei and Yuya standing atop a monolith with cravings of their dragons looking across from them.

And that's that, chapter done. As you can see, I've paired Zane with Gloria. I asked GamingGuy84 if it was alright and he agreed. Also concerning Yuri and Celina, I felt bad that they weren't like their counterparts so I'm gonna have them bond and fall in love in this story because Yuri may be bad, but he deserves some joy in his life. I had some help from two of my friends with two parts of this chapter, so the credit doesn't just belong to me.

About the Oc cards I made in this chapter, I hope you all liked them. Yusei's own oc cards will come soon, but not for a while so please be patient. And I especially hope you all loved Stardust Dragon's appearance and how everyone reacted to seeing him, I just love that dragon! Now I'm gonna start getting back to spending time on World of Warcraft to prepare for Shadowlands, but I'll try to update as much as I can.
