Yusei Fudo, after having defeated Z-one and stopped the Divine Temple, thought his journey was over. However, he was sent to another world by the Crimson Dragon to stop a mad scientist and a powerful evil. Yusei will form new bonds, take on a student and will become a hero in his journey in the Four Dimensions to stop Leo Akaba and Z-arc's revival. Yusei X Akiza and Yuya X Lulu.

5. Chapter 5

Hey everyone, another chapter done. But instead of updating one story, I updated two stories. Think of it as my way of making up for not updating for a while. Now this is the second last chapter before we reached the start of Arc-V, so please be a bit patient with me, though I I'll be working on my other stories mostly, but I think I can do the next chapter in the meantime. Now for some reviews answered.

Avalon Gx: Thanks for the cards suggested. Also no, Yusei won't give Yuya Stardust Spark Dragon. Also that bad reunion of Lulu and Shay gave me an idea, so thank you. Yusei will become a teacher at You Show and will even teach Gong how to Synchro Summon.

Utopy: You'll have to wait and see, also yeah Zuzu won't like Yusei mostly because of that.

Guest: I'll do my best to update my Pokémon story as soon as I can.

Allen Vth: Yuri's just in disblief because its his first defeat, and he needs to get used to it. Still thank you for your review.

Guest 1999: As interesting as that idea is, it won't work. One of the reasons why is because Arc-V Crow uses Blackwings and I have enough stoires as it is, so I'm sorry but I can't do it.

Blue Heart: I don't even watch RWBY, so no.

A Synchro Fan: Sorry about that, I'm bad at doing that sort of thing, but I'll get better. Also about Yuya, I'll let him get Pendulum in the duel against the Sledgehammer.

I'm really pleased at seeing how so many people like this story, it warms my heart. After this chapter, I'm gonna work on my Descendants and Maleficent crossover, a lot of people are waiting for its update and they've waited long enough. I don't know when I'll update this story with World of Warcraft Shadowlands coming up, but I'll do my best. For now, enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 5: Standard Dimension and Yusei's new student, Yuya Sakaki.

"So this is the Standard Dimension, huh?" Rin remarked as she turned her head left and right to look around the streets, standing next to Lulu, while Yusei was behind them, pushing his Duel Runner as he followed the two females. It has been 10 minutes since all three of them arrived in the Standard Dimension and so far, they haven't attracted unwanted attention, except the attention they were getting from people staring at Yusei's Duel Runner.

"That's right, Rin. This is the dimension where Yusho Sakaki originally came from". Yusei stated as he, Lulu and Rin kept walking through the streets of Paradise City with the two females taking the lead. "I always wondered what teacher's home was like. I actually like it". Lulu commented with a smile as she looked around the city, holding her hands together behind her. She looked up at the billboards atop the buildings and couldn't help, but smile when they showed Duel Monsters.

A passing by van passed the three, except it had a screen showing a large man with purple hair; red face paint, and wearing clothes that were similar to a gladiator's outfit with multiple cards floating besides him, including Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Monsters. "Don't be a wimpy loser, be a winner!" The man cried out, before pointing his right hand's index finger out with three separate screens appearing besides him.

"Come to the Leo Institute of Dueling and we'll teach you how to crush any opponent and fill them with fear! Duel to win!" The man said on a monitor that was on a building, only with the words "Leo Institute of Dueling' under him. "That guy has a 'big' ego". Rin joked, before she and Lulu started giggling and Yusei chuckled. "Did you see the cards next to him? There were Fusion, Synchro and Xyz cards, meaning that this dimension is indeed the Standard Dimension". Yusei told the girls, getting them to stop giggling as they looked once more and indeed saw Fusion, Synchro and Xyz cards included in that commercial.

"You're right Yusei, Standard is the only dimension with all the Extra Deck Summoning methods. Although, I wonder who that man is though?" Lulu said as she looked back at the monitor to look at the purple haired man. Yusei looked up at the monitor as well, before he noticed a dark green haired woman, wearing a yellow sundress, walking by them. "Excuse me lady, but can I ask you something?" Yusei asked the woman, getting her to stop as she turned to face the Shooting Star of Satellite. "Of course you can. What is it?" The woman replied to Yusei as she fully faced him and the girls.

"That man on the screen, who is he?" Yusei asked, receiving a look of surprise from the woman. "You don't know him? That's the Sledgehammer, the champion duelist of Paradise City ever since Yusho Sakaki ran away from the championship match 3 years ago". The woman answered, making Yusei, Lulu and Rin widen their eyes in disbelief at what she said. "Yusho Sakaki…ran away?" Rin questioned in disbelief that the man she met in the Fusion Dimension ran away from a duel.

"Thank you for answering our question". Yusei thanked the woman, who smiled as she walked away, leaving Yusei, Rin and Lulu alone as they thought about what they've learned. "What she said was a lie! Teacher would never run away from a duel". Lulu said in denial of what the woman told them. "I know that, Lulu. Yusho's not the time to run away from a duel. He must have left Paradise City on the day of the championship match to try to stop Leo Akaba". Yusei reassured the 14-year-old, knowing that his recent, but trusted friend wouldn't run away from a duel.

"Now that I think about it, didn't you say Yusho just one day showed up in Heartland, Lulu?" Rin asked the purple haired girl, getting her to look at the orange eyed girl. During their time in the You Show School's hideout in the Fusion Dimension, Lulu told Rin how she knew Yusho Sakaki and how her friend Saya was a student of his. "Yes I did. It happened three years ago, teacher just appeared out of nowhere and brought smiles and joy to all of us in Heartland. He was even a teacher and taught some of my friends dueling lessons". Lulu answered Rin, thinking back to three years ago when Yusho Sakaki appeared alongside his Performapal Sky Magician in Heartland City.

"Something must have gone wrong and instead of the Fusion Dimension, he was sent to the Xyz Dimension. Because he didn't have the Interdimensional system, he couldn't leave". Yusei remarked as he connected what he's learned from Yusho himself and from Lulu. "So, in other words, that Sledgehammer guy isn't actually the champion and is only acting like it because Yusho never showed up for their duel". Rin said as she looked up at the Sledgehammer's face on the screen and frowned at it.

"We'll worry about the Sledgehammer later; right now we need to find Yusho's family". Yusei said as he brought out the two letters that Yusho gave to him. "I have a delivery to make". The Shooting Star of Satellite added, before he put the two letters away. "You know what, you're right. I'm curious to meet Yusho's family". Rin commented as she took the lead and began walking off.

"Teacher mentioned he had a wife and son back home, I've always wanted to meet them someday. I wonder if his son wants to be like him". Lulu said as she followed after Rin with Yusei trailing behind the two, only he had his eyes narrowed at what Lulu said. 'Yusho said that Yuya wanted to be exactly like him, but that was the problem. I'll have to see for myself before I can do anything'. The Shooting Star thought to himself as he looked up at the monitor one last time.

'The title of champion doesn't truly belong to the Sledgehammer, it belongs to Yusho and that guy has no right to be called that. Somehow, someway I'll face and defeat him for Yusho'. Yusei thought to himself, determined to defeat the Sledgehammer for his friend. Yusei kept pushing his Duel Runner as he follower after the two teenage girls.

"AT THE EDGE OF THE DARKNESS, TEARING APART THE SILENCE"

The sky was dark as ocean waves were rolling off each other, before suddenly three Ancient Gear Reactor Dragons appeared and cut through the water, flying towards Duel Academy. They flew over the court of Duel Academy, where students were lined up, looking up at Aster Phoenix, who was looking down at them from a bench with the Tyler Sisters behind him.

"WHO IS THE ONE WAKING THE EARTH FROM ITS SLEEP?!"

In his office, Jean-Michel Roget was sitting at his desk, toying around with his chess pieces with a smug look on his face as he watched Sector Security arrest a man on a screen.

"BEFORE YOUR EYES ARE WICKED SOULS"

In his throne room, Leo Akaba stood up from his throne with Yuri and Zane Truesdale at his sides. Leo thrust out his right hand to the side at the army of Obelisk Force in front of him, which the army cheered for him and for Duel Academy. Leo turned around to face the Arc-V reactor behind him as he saw an image of Ray.

"THERE'S NOWHERE TO RUN, FACE THEM STRAIGHT ON!"

In the Standard Dimension, standing in front of the Leo Corporation tower was Yuya, Celina, Declan and Zuzu, all with narrowed eyes. They activated their Duel Disks as they summoned their ace monsters, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Saffira, Queen of Dragons, Lunalight Cat Dancer and D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga, before all three monsters fired blasts.

"SOMEONE TELLS ME TO ERASE MY "WEAKNESS" OR "FEAR"

In the Synchro Dimension on a Turbo Duel lane, Yugo and Rin rode their separate Duel Runners besides each other, before Arc-v Jack Atlast joined them on his Duel Runner. They all summoned their ace monsters; Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Windwitch – Winter Bell and Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend. The three monsters flew besides their Duelist as they continued riding.

"WE RECONSTRUCT OUR MINDS"

In the Xyz Dimension, Yuto appeared with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon behind him, before they moved aside to reveal Lulu with her ace, Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale. The two moved aside to reveal Shay, who had his arms crossed, his scarf and sunglasses covering his face. His ace, Raidraptor – Rise Falcon appeared behind him, creating a gale that blew Shay's glasses off, revealing his hate filled eyes.

"TIGHTLY HOLD ONTO THAT HAND"

In the middle of a desert field road, Yusei spun his Duel Runner around twice before stopping in a sideways position. Yusei gave off one of his famous glares as he held up his right arm as his mark of the Crimson Dragon glowed.

"BELIEVE IN THE BONDS BETWEEN EACH OTHER"

In a multi-colored background, Yuya, Celina, Zuzu, Declan appeared in a stance with their ace monsters behind them. In a green background Yugo, Rin and Jack appeared, riding their Duel Runners with their ace monsters flying above them. In a black background Yuto, Lulu and Shay appeared in a combat stance with their ace monsters behind them. Yusei held up a white card with his right hand as a portal appeared behind him. Yusei's ace, Stardust Dragon flew out of the portal and roared.

"AND FIGHT!"

In a gold void, Ray clapped her hands together as if she was praying. Above her, the Crimson Dragon appeared and roared.

"TRANSFORM!"

"SO ALL I CAN DO"

In the Standard Dimension, Yuri smirked evilly as he activated his Duel Disk before he summon Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. Yuya stood a few feet away from his fusion counterpart with Odd-Eyes besides him, before the two dragons fired breath attacks at each other, creating a bright light.

"AND ALL YOU CAN DO"

The bright light died down to reveal the Xyz Dimension, where Yuto was battling against Zane with the two running across the streets. Both Duelists had their Duel Disks activated as they summoned their ace monsters. Zane summoned Cyber End Dragon, while Yuto summoned Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. Cyber End Dragon fired three separate blasts from its three heads at Dark Rebellion, which the dragon charged with lightning surging through its fangs. Dark Rebellion made contact with Cyber End Dragon's attack, creating a bright light.

"FLAP YOUR WINGS! TRANSFORM"

The light disappeared to reveal the Synchro Dimension, where Sergey and Jack were Turbo Dueling aboard their Duel Runners. Sergey laughed crazily as Earthbound Servant Geo Grasha appeared above him with a dark aura. Jack narrowed his eyes as Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend appeared above him, before the dragon was surrounded in a crimson sphere. The sphere dispersed, creating a bright light.

"CHANGE THAT PIERCING RAGE IN YOUR HEART INTO POWER"

The light cleared to reveal the Fusion Dimension. In Duel Academy's courtyard, both Shay and Lulu were Dueling the Tyler Sisters. Grace and Gloria had Amazoness Pet Liger and Amazoness Empress on their field, while Shay and Lulu had Raidraptor – Rise Falcon and Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale on their field. The Obsidian twins held up their right arms as their ace monsters were covered in bright lights.

In Leo Akaba's throne room, the professor of Duel Academy was Dueling his son. Leo had Master Spirit Tech Force - Pendulum Ruler while Declan had D/D/D Flame King Genghis, Gust King Alexander, Wave King Caesar and Doom King Armageddon on his field. The five monsters fired beams at each other, creating a burst of power.

"TRANSFORM!"

"NOW ALL I CAN DO"

Outside with the sky red, Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, Supreme King Dark Rebellion, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing and Supreme King Starving Venom all appeared.

"AND ALL YOU CAN DO"

Darkness appeared behind the four dragons, before it was blown away to reveal Supreme King Z-arc, with the giant dragon roaring.

"SHINE ON! TRANSFORM!"

A black skin Z-arc on the dragon's head laughed as the dragon unleashed a blast from its mouth. Standing at the ground facing the direction of Supreme King Z-arc was Shay, Jack, Declan, Leo, Aster, Zane, Yuya, Yuri, Yugo, Yuto, Rin, Lulu, Zuzu, Celina and the Tyler Sisters with their Duel Disks activated. Supreme King Z-arc's attack stroke the ground, creating an explosion that blew them all away. Dust covered everything from view for a second before it cleared to reveal Yusei, who was holding back Supreme King Z-arc's attack with his right hand up with his mark blocking the attack.

"ON TO THE NEXT STAGE IN EVOLUTION"

Yusei gritted his teeth before he thrust his right arm out to the side, dispersing the attack. Above Yusei, the Crimson Dragon appeared as it roared, before it turned into flames.

"TOUCH AND GO!"

The flames transferred over to Yusei, forming armor that looked like the Crimson Dragon over Yusei, with even wings and a tail. Yusei narrowed his eyes as he spread his wings and took flight towards Supreme King Z-arc, creating a bright light when he made contact.

When the light cleared, it revealed Yusei, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Rin, Celina, Lulu, Zuzu, Declan, Aster and Shay back in the Standard Dimension in the stadium. All the Duelists were smiling with Yugo jumping in the air with his right hand thrust out to the sky, while Lulu, Rin and Celina were hugging Yusei, who smiled at the three girls as he returned the hug.

An hour has passed since Yusei, Lulu and Rin set out to search for Yusho's family and so far, they haven't succeeded. They tried asking other people where Yusho Sakaki's family lived, but the people of Paradise City either ignored them, said that they didn't know or just didn't care about the family of a coward. The people that insulted Yusho really ticked both Yusei and Lulu off, but they kept their tempers in check.

Right now, the three of them were in Paradise City Park with Lulu and Rin sitting down on a bench, while Yusei was standing in front of them with his Duel Runner behind him. "Alright you two, stay here. I'm gonna go out and see if I can find out if anyone knows where Yusho's family lives". Yusei told the two teenage girls as he pulled the left handlebar up and mounted his Duel Runner.

Both girls looked worried, which Yusei took notice of. The Shooting Star of Satellite dismounted his Duel Runner once more and walked up to the two girls, before he brought them into a hug, something that they didn't protest against as they pressed their heads into Yusei's shirt. "I'll only be gone for a while, but I'll be back soon, don't worry you two. There's no Duel Academy here that'll try to kidnap you". Yusei told the two girls with a comforting voice to help ease the two.

Lulu and Rin felt more relaxed at hearing Yusei's words as they nodded in understanding, making the 19-year-old smile. "W-what happens if someone challenges us to a duel?" Rin asked the 19-year-old, getting Yusei to look at her with gentle eyes. "Either accept the challenge or refuse it, the choice is yours. Don't let your fear of Duel Academy make you fear dueling". Yusei began to explain to Lulu and Rin, getting the two girls to look at him as they listened carefully.

"What you believe dueling is, is up to you. To me, dueling is to forge bonds, protect the people I love and have a good time. I know from looking into your eyes that you both love Dueling and hate to see it used to hurt other people. Always remember what dueling is to you, no matter what". Yusei told the two teenage girls as he rubbed the back of their heads, with Lulu and Rin nodding to him.

Yusei hesitated a bit, but let go of both Rin and Lulu. He walked back to his Duel Runner and mounted it again. Yusei placed his helmet on and grabbed both handlebars, before he looked at Lulu and Rin, who were watching him. "Take this chance to relax, have fun or enjoy the open, there's no way Duel Academy can come and ruin this. This is your chance to be kids again. I'll be back soon". Yusei told the two girls with a smile as he pressed the accelerator and twisted both handlebars.

The Duel Runner's wheels started spinning, making the motorcycle take off. Lulu and Rin watched as Yusei drove away and was soon out of their sights. Both girls were silent for a few moments, before Rin decided to break it. "You know what? Yusei's right, let's have some fun". Rin said to Lulu with a bright smile on her face as she leaped off the bench and turned to face her, making the purple haired girl let out a small smile.

"Sure, it's just a little hard for me to relax. Back in Heartland, it wasn't safe to let your guard down". Lulu told the green haired girl, looking down with a sad smile as she thought about her home. Lulu slightly widened her eyes when Rin grabbed her hands and pulled her off the bench.

"Come on, this is our chance to have fun. Forget about the war, Z-arc, Ray and everything and just take this chance to have fun!" Rin exclaimed in excitement as she started twirling around in a circle, keeping her hold on Lulu's hands, much to her surprise. "What are you doing?!" Lulu questioned in surprise at Rin's actions as she continued to twirl, while keeping her grip on her hands.

"What do you think? I'm getting that fear out of you!" Rin answered as she twirled even faster, increasing Lulu's surprise, but she began to smile. For the next two minutes the two girls continued to twirl around, but eventually Rin stopped. Both Rin and Lulu were a bit light headed as their heads moved around for a few seconds, but soon regained their balance.

"Haha, you're very carefree, you know that Rin?" Lulu said to her Synchro counterpart, who giggled at her. "Now get a load of you. Now that you've lost that uneasiness around you, you're smiling happily now". Rin told Lulu with a happy smile on her face, surprising the purple haired girl as she realized that she didn't feel uneasy anymore. Suddenly out of nowhere, a blue feathered bird flew by and landed on Lulu's right shoulder, who looked at it with gentle eyes. "Hello there". The 14-year-old female greeted the bird as she held her right hand's index finger out to the bird, which jumped from her shoulder and perched itself on her finger.

Rin got closer to look at the bird with a wide smile, while the feathered creature chirped at Lulu, who smiled. "What's a beautiful bird like you doing here? Do you have a family?" Lulu asked the bird, who chirped at her again, making the female smile even more. "I see, congratulations on becoming a mother". Lulu congratulated the bird, making Rin look at her in surprise.

"Can you understand this birdie?" The green haired girl asked the purple haired female, who turned to look at her and shook her head. "I can't exactly understand what its saying, but I can somehow understand what she's trying to tell me. She said she came here because I felt like a bird to her". Lulu answered Rin, telling her that she can't exactly understand the bird's words, but understands its feelings.

"Wow, that's amazing Lulu". Rin said to Lulu with an excited smile, making her smile as she faced the bird that was still perched on her finger. "You should fly home now. Your family might be worried about you". Lulu said to the bird, who chirped at her one more time before she flew away, with both 14-year-old girls watching it fly away. "I'm gonna take a walk around the park Rin, I won't be too far". Lulu told her new friend as she began walking away, getting Rin to look at her.

"Okay, just be careful". Rin told Lulu with a stern tone, making the purple haired girl giggle a bit. 'She's acting like an overprotective mother'. The Xyz user thought to herself with a smile as she gave a wave at Rin, who returned it before she sat back down on the bench. Lulu walked around the park for a good 10 minutes, looking at all the trees and buildings nearby.

Later, Lulu was sitting atop a tree's branch, deep in a conversation with three birds that had perched themselves on her shoulders. "Oh, did you really? Some cats can be a handful at times, but I'm glad nobody got hurt". Lulu said to the emerald feathered bird on her left shoulder, while the two birds on her right shoulder were violet and red.

The violet bird chirped at Lulu, getting her attention as she turned to face the bird. "I'm sorry to hear that you can't find your own mate yet, but don't give up. I'm sure you'll find your soul mate someday". Lulu said to the violet bird, making it chirp at her in joy. Lulu turned to look at the red bird, who was looking at her with eyes full of curiosity. "Same with you, I'm sure you'll find a beautiful girl to be your mate". The purple haired girl said to the red bird, making it cry out in joy.

Suddenly loud laughing came out of nowhere, scaring the birds away and getting Lulu to look in the direction of where the laughter came from. The 14-year-old female narrowed her eyes, before she pushed herself off the branch, causing her to fall to the ground, but landed on her feet.

Lulu walked to where she heard the laughter came from and froze at what she saw. She saw four teens around her age surrounding a 14-year-old boy, who had been pushed to the ground. The boy had crimson eyes, and dual-colored green and crimson hair of average length sticking out in downwards pointing spikes all around his head with the exception of one short upwards pointing spike of green hair. He had a buckled choker and a pair of golden goggles with orange lenses on his forehead, with a blue star obscuring the right lens.

The teen was wearing a simple orange t-shirt with a thick, silver-buckled brown belt over it, green pants with what appeared to be "Deck pockets" on each leg, and magenta shoes, as well as crimson wristbands. He wearied a gold and red lined white jacket over his shoulders like a cape. Around the boy's neck was a pendant that had silver wings wrapped around it.

But what really drew Lulu's attention was the boy's face; it was exactly like Yuto and Yuri's face. 'That boy… he has the same face as Yuto and Yuri'. Lulu thought to herself in disbelief at seeing another boy with the same face as her ex-boyfriend and the boy who kidnapped her. One of the four boys surrounding the green and red haired boy kicked him in the chest, sending the dual haired boy to the ground on his back with a cry of pain, making Lulu gasp at seeing this.

Lulu looked at the one that kicked the boy. She saw that it was a tall muscular teenager with thulian pink hair at the front, wearing a pair of blue pants and what appears to be a red sash on his abdomen, with a purple shirt with thick pauldrons along a blue jacket. He also wearied a pair of steel bracers and sandals. The boy laughed as he slammed his left foot on the tomato haired boy's chest, making him cry out in pain.

"You're pathetic Yuya". The bully began as he removed his foot from the boy's chest, who held his chest with his left hand as he sat up. "You're just as pathetic and cowardly like your old man, Yusho Sakaki!" The bully laughed out with his friends, making Lulu widen her eyes in disbelief as she looked at the boy named Yuya, who was glaring at the bully.

'That's… teacher's son and Z-arc's standard piece?!' The Xyz user thought to herself in disbelief that she found her teacher's son when she wasn't looking. "My dad isn't a coward Grizzlepike!" Yuya shouted out at the bully named Grizzlepike, who stopped laughing and smirked at him. "Oh really? And how would you know that? He hasn't been seen for a long time now, so how would you know if he actually ran away or not? Maybe he ran away because of his family because he thought you and your mother were so pathetic!" Grizzlepike said with a smirk, making Yuya go silent.

Then before everyone's' eyes, Yuya began to cry tears of sadness, making Lulu gasp in disbelief. The sadness she saw in her teacher's son's eyes reminded her of her sadness. It wasn't exactly the same, but seeing him cry made Lulu realize how different he was compared to Yuto. 'He's… just like me'. Lulu thought to herself in disbelief, her heart feeling like it wanted to reach out and comfort the boy.

Seeing Yuya's tears made Grizzlepike laugh even more. "What's wrong you big crybaby? Can't take the truth that your daddy ran away and left you and your mother?" Grizzlepike said in mockery, before he burst out laughing along with his friends, making Yuya cry even more. The more she saw those boys bully Yuya, the more anger Lulu felt as her fists clenched tighter, before she couldn't take it anymore.

Lulu ran out of her hiding spot towards Grizzlepike and shoved him away from Yuya, making everyone widen their eyes in surprise as she stood in front of the crying boy with her hands out. "Leave him alone you coward!" Lulu demanded with a glare on her face, before she turned around and knelt down in front of Yuya. "Are you okay?" The Xyz user asked in concern for Yuya, who looked at her face, before he widened his eyes when he saw her face.

'She… she has the same face as Zuzu'. Yuya thought to himself in disbelief to see a different girl with the same face as his childhood friend. "Don't listen to a word he says, your father would never abandon you or your mother". Lulu comfort Yuya as she placed her hands on his face and wiped his tears away, making the 14-year-old blush at feeling her gentle hands.

Yuya took a good look at Lulu without meaning to and saw how beautiful and different she was compared to Zuzu. His blush increased when Lulu gave him a sweet smile on her face. Before he had a chance to speak, Grizzlepike beat him to it. "Hey, who are you?!" The bully questioned with a glare, getting Lulu's attention as she looked over her left shoulder to look at him.

"My name is Lulu Obsidian!" Lulu introduced herself to everyone present, making Grizzlepike growl at her. "All right Lulu, get lost now!" Grizzlepike demanded as he started cracking his knuckles, making Lulu narrow her eyes as she stood back up and turned to face the bully. "Forget it; I won't stand by while you cowards gang up on someone!" Lulu replied as she stayed in front of Yuya, who was watching her in disbelief with tears still going down his face.

"Us cowards? The only coward here is that loser behind you and his father!" The bully exclaimed as he pointed at Yuya, making the Xyz user narrow her eyes. "Yusho Sakaki is no coward; he would never run from a duel!" Lulu retaliated at Grizzlepike, making him narrowed his eyes at her. "And how would you know that?" The bully asked the purple haired female, who answered instantly.

"It's because Yusho Sakaki is my teacher!" Lulu revealed, making everyone gasp in surprise with Yuya now looking at her in shock. "He is a kind and strong man, who would never abandon his family or run from a duel! The only coward here is you!" Lulu continued with eyes full of determination, making Grizzlepike take a step back while Yuya had a small smile at seeing Lulu defend not only him, but his father.

"You're wrong; Yusho Sakaki is nothing but a coward! And I'll prove it!" Grizzlepike exclaimed with a glare as he brought out a black Duel Disk and attached it to his left forearm, with his deck already slotted in. At the sight of the Duel Disk, Lulu took a step back in fear, remembering the last time she dueled and how badly she lost. However, she then thought about Yusei and how brave he was by standing up to not only Yuri, but Leo Akaba himself back in the Fusion Dimension.

Lulu took a deep sigh with her eyes closed, before she opened her eyes. Lulu brought out the black Fusion Dimension You Show Duel Disk that Yusho gave her and placed it on her left forearm. "If it's a duel you want, then I accept. But if I win, you have to apologize to Yuya for what you said!" Lulu told Grizzlepike as she slotted her deck in, before her Duel Disk activated a purple blade.

Grizzlepike gritted his teeth for a moment, before he gave a smirk. "Okay, I'll do that. But if I win, you have to go out on a date with me". Grizzlepike said, making Lulu widen her eyes as she took a step back. Even Yuya looked shocked at Grizzlepike's words, but Lulu regained her resolve and nodded.

"Fine, I'll go on a date with you, but only if you win this duel". Lulu replied to Grizzlepike, making him smirk in greed as he activated a violet blade. "Let's duel!" Lulu and Grizzlepike called out as they drew their starting hand and placed the five cards in their left hands.

Lulu looked over her right shoulder to look at Yuya, who was stilling looking at her in disbelief and gave him a gentle smile. "Everything is going to be alright, I promise". Lulu told Yuya in a gentle tone, making him lightly blush as she turned to face Grizzlepike. "I'll take the first move". Grizzlepike said as he took a card from his hand and placed it on his blade.

"I'll start by Summoning Granite Battleguard in ATK Mode!" Grizzlepike said as a blue skin battleguard monster appeared on his field.

Granite Battleguard ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 3.

"When this card is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon Boulder Battleguard from my hand!" Grizzlepike explained his monster's special ability as a brown skin battleguard appeared on his field.

Boulder Battleguard ATK Points: 1200/ Level: 4.

"Now I'll set a face down card and end my turn". Grizzlepike said as he picked a card and slotted it into his Duel Disk, before a face down card appeared in front of him.

Lulu Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 5.

Lulu looked down at her deck as she moved her right hand to draw her card, but stopped. Lulu looked at her hand and saw it was shaking, making her slightly widen her eyes. 'I'm…afraid?' The Xyz user thought to herself in disbelief that she was still afraid. Lulu looked at her shaking hand for a few seconds, before she turned it into a fist.

'No, I won't let fear control me anymore. I… want to be brave just like Yusei, and I won't let fear stop me'. Lulu thought to herself with determined eyes, refusing to allow fear to control her. "It's my turn now, I draw!" Lulu cried out as she drew her card in a dramatic fashion. The purple haired girl brought the card in front of her to look at it, before she smiled. 'All right!' Lulu thought to herself in joy at seeing what she drew.

"I'll start by activating the Field Spell, Lyrilusc – Free Skies!" Lulu called out as she slotted the card into her Duel Disk with the Spell card appearing in front of her. The card's image showed a clear blue sky with many Lyrilusc monsters flying and singing.

(Lyrilusc - Free Skies/ Type: Field Spell/ Effect: All Lyrilusc Monsters you control gain 300 ATK Points. Once per turn, you can select one Level 1 Lyrilusc Monster in your deck and Special Summon it.)

"As long as this card remains on the field, all Lyrilusc monsters gains 300 ATK Points!" Lulu explained her Field Spell's effect, before she thrust her right hand out. "Now I activate Free Skies' other effect! Once per turn I can select one Level 1 Lyrilusc monster in my deck and Special Summon it!" Lulu continued as her deck shuffled, before a card slotted out.

Lulu grabbed the card with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before she held it up. "The monster I choose is Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow!" Lulu made her choice as she placed the card on the blade. A little girl wearing a brown bird outfit appeared, singing a peaceful song.

"When this card is Special Summoned, I can now add another Cobalt Sparrow from my deck to my hand!" Lulu explained her monster's special ability as another card slotted out of her deck and she added it to her hand. "Now if a Lyrilusc monster was Special Summoned, I can Special Summon Lyriluse – Loving Owl!" Lulu explained as she placed a card on the blade of her Duel Disk. Appearing was a little pale skin girl, wearing a silvery white owl costume with hearts on the costume and had yellow eyes. Loving Owl sang a peaceful song as she appeared.

"Now I Normal Summon Lyrilusc – Onyx Woodpecker in ATK Mode!" The purple haired girl continued as she held up a card with her right hand's index and middle finger, before placing it on the blade. Appearing was a little pale skin girl wearing an onyx colored woodpecker outfit with the beak of a woodpecker attached to the head of the outfit. Onyx Woodpecker let out a gentle song as she twirled around.

Lyrilusc – Onyx Woodpecker ATK Points: 300 + 300 = 600.

"When Onyx Woodpecker is either Normal or Special Summoned, she can destroy a face down card you control and I select your face down card!" Lulu explained her monster's special ability, making Grizzlepike widen his eyes. "In that case, I'll-". The bully began to speak, but Lulu cut him off. "Onyx Woodpecker prevents you from activating cards in response, so don't try it!" Lulu told the bully as Woodpecker flew towards Grizzlepike's face down and started pecking away at it, before it was destroyed.

"Now since I control a Lyrilusc monster, I can Special Summon both the Lyrilusc – Sapphire Swallow and the Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow in my hand!" Lulu explained as she took two cards from the four cards in her hand and placed them on the blade of her Duel Disk. Another Lyrilusc – Cobalt Sparrow and a Lyrilusc – Sapphire Swallow appeared beside their sisters and sang a peaceful song.

Grizzlepike looked at all of Lulu's monsters for a few moments, before he burst out laughing at the sight of them. "Is this some sort of joke? All your monsters are weak and pathetic little girls!" Grizzlepike laughed out with his friends laughing alongside him. Yuya kept silent as he looked at Lulu's five monsters and couldn't help but admit that they're pretty cute.

"My Lyrilusc monsters may have low levels and low ATK Points, but they're not weak. There is no such thing as a worthless card. If played correctly, even the weakest of cards can be a force to be reckoned with". Lulu told the bully with narrowed eyes, before she picked another card in her hand. "And here's proof, I activate the Spell Sacred Winds!" The purple haired female called out as she slotted the card into her Duel Disk with the Spell appearing in front of her. The image showed a flock of birds flying near a rainbow.

(Sacred Winds/ Type: Spell/ Effect: Draw one card for every Wind Attribute monster you control. You can remove this card from the graveyard; add one Wind Attribute monster from your Graveyard to your hand.)

"This Spell allows me to draw a card for each Wind Attribute monster I control and since I have five, I draw five new cards!" Lulu explained her Spell's effect as she drew five more cards from her deck, making everyone widen their eyes in surprise. 'Awesome, she has a field full of monster and managed to refill her hand from just one Spell card'. Yuya thought to himself in awe at seeing Lulu's skills.

Lulu added the five new cards to her left hand, before she looked at Grizzlepike. "The time has come, to show you my deck's true power". Lulu said with her eyes full of determination, getting everyone confused by her words, having no idea what she's planning. "By overlaying the two Level 1 Lyrilusc – Cobalt Sparrows, Level 1 Lyrilusc – Loving Owl, Level 1 Lyrilusc – Onyx Woodpecker and Lyrilusc – Sapphire Sparrow, I build the Overlay Network!" Lulu cried out to the heavens as she held up her right hand into the sky.

The five Lyrilusc monsters turned into green bright lights that flew into the air. Appearing in front of Lulu was a black xyz portal, which created a gale that blew Lulu's hair in the breeze with the five lights diving into the portal. Everyone, but Lulu had wide eyes of disbelief at what they were witnessing. "No way!" Grizzlepike called out in disbelief at what he was seeing. "She's…!" Yuya began, but couldn't finish from the disbelief he was feeling from witnessing this.

"Fly high into the sky and sing to your heart's content! I Xyz Summon Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" Lulu chanted as her ace monster, Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale slowly floated out of the portal with five green overlay units circling around her. Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale sang a gentle song as she held out her wing filled hands.

Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale ATK Points: 0 + 300 = 300/ Rank: 1/ Overlay units: 5.

Everyone stared at Assembled Nightingale in awe and disbelief as the Xyz monster floated besides her mistress with a smile on her face with Lulu looking at her ace monster with a happy smile of her own.

(Meanwhile at an unknown location)

In a dark room full of computer screens, men and women, suddenly a large amount of summoning energy appeared on the screen. "We have detected a high level of summoning energy from the park!" A female called out in alarm as she and the other workers began typing away on the keyboards.

"Hurry and analyze what Summoning it is!" A man above the other workers told them, wanting to know what caused this. The men and women obeyed and began analysing the information. "We have the results!" The same woman exclaimed as the words 'Xyz' appeared on the screen. "The Summoning is Xyz!" She added as the man behind them looked shocked when he heard this.

"An Xyz Summon?" The man questioned, wondering who is causing this powerful Xyz Summon. "I should report this to the president right now!" He added, before he turn around and ran off, leaving the men and women to continue to work.

(Back at the duel)

Everyone continued to stare at Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale in joy, awe and disbelief, joy for Lulu, awe for Yuya and disbelief for Grizzlepike. After looking at her ace monster for a few moments, Lulu turned back to face Grizzlepike. "Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale gains 100 ATK Points for every overlay unit she has, and since she has five overlay units, that's a total of 500 points!" Lulu explained her ace monster's special ability as a light green aura appeared over Nightingale, increasing her power.

Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale ATK Points: 300 + 500 = 800.

Grizzlepike lost his look of disbelief, before he burst out laughing. "Hahaha! Even if it's an Xyz Monster, it's so weak! I don't even know why it's even an Xyz Monster!" They bully laughed out at the sight of Nightingale's ATK Points with his friends joining in, but Lulu just had a confident smile on her face. "You shouldn't be laughing, because you're about to lose this duel!" Lulu told the bully, making him stop laughing as Grizzlepike looked at her like she had a second head.

"Yeah right, there's no way I'll lose to some weakling like you". Grizzlepike said in refusal to believe that he'll lose, but Lulu just kept smirking. "For every overlay unit, Nightingale can attack! Since she has five overlay units, she can attack five times". Lulu explained her ace monster's special ability, making Grizzlepike start laughing again. "What's the point of that if it's so weak?" The bully laughed out in glee, while Lulu's smirk turned into an innocent smile.

"Did I forget to mention that Nightingale has the power to attack you directly?" Lulu questioned with an innocent smile, making Grizzlepike stop laughing for a few moments, before he had a terrified look on his face. "Judging by the expression on your face, you know that's bad news for you. Five attacks from a monster with 800 ATK Points deals a total of 4000 points of damage". Lulu told the bully, who took a step back in fear.

"Nightingale, take it away!" Lulu told her ace monster as she thrust out her right hand. Nightingale nodded to Lulu as she swiped her wing covered hands in front of her five times, unleashing five wind blades at Grizzlepike. The five attacks stroke Gizzlepike, who cried out in pain as he took each hit, before the last one sent him flying with his Life Points dropping.

Grizzlepike Life Points: 4000 – 800 = 3200 – 800 = 2400 – 800 = 1600 – 800 = 800 – 800 = 0.

Winner: Lulu!

Yuya and Grizzlepike's friends had shocked looks on their faces at seeing Lulu easily defeat Grizzlepike, who landed harshly on the ground. Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale and the two Battleguards disappeared with both Lulu and Grizzlepike's Duel Disks deactivating. Seeing she was victorious, Lulu turned around and walked up to Yuya, before she knelt down in front of him.

"You okay?" Lulu asked the tomato haired boy as she gave him a sweet smile, making him blush once more. "Y-yeah, I'm fine now. Thank you for standing up for me". Yuya replied to the purple haired girl, who continued to smile at him as she stood up back on her feet, before she held out her right hand to him.

Yuya looked up at Lulu, who continued to smile at him, making him lightly blush but smile back at her. Yuya grabbed Lulu's right hand, which the female pulled him to his feet. "We haven't been properly introduced yet, so allow me to do that now. I'm Lulu Obsidian, a student of your father". Lulu introduced herself to Yuya, making him widen his eyes in shock.

"Do you… really know my dad?" The young 14-year-old boy asked the purple haired girl, which she eagerly nodded to him. "Yusho Sakaki was an honorable man and one of the greatest Duelists I've ever met. I met him through my friend Saya and he taught me how to connect with people through Dueling. I even saw one of his performances with his Performapal Sky Magician". Lulu answered Yuya with a smile, getting the tomato haired boy to smile a bit.

"If you're really my dad's student, then do you know where he is?" Yuya asked the purple haired female; actually leaning a bit closer and placing his hands on her shoulders, getting Lulu to look at his hands and could feel the desperation in his grip. Lulu looked back at Yuya and nodded, getting the 14-year-old to smile eagerly with hope in his eyes. "Where is he? Where did my dad go?" Yuya asked Lulu where his father is, getting her to slightly look down with eyes full of hesitation.

She really wanted to tell Yuya where his father is, but how could she? She can't just tell him that Yusho's in another dimension, trying to save his crazy old friend that was trying to revive his daughter, who she happens to be a piece of and that he was willing to kill to get his daughter back. She really didn't know what to tell him at the moment, so she thought of the best way to prolong this conversation.

Lulu looked back up at Yuya and gave him a small smile. "I'll tell you soon, but right now I think someone owes you an apology". Lulu said as she looked over her left shoulder to look at Grizzlepike, who was sitting up on his rear end. Lulu looked back at Yuya, before she took ahold of his left hand with her right hand. "After that, I'll tell you where your dad is". Lulu told Yuya, which he eagerly nodded to her, making the purple haired girl smile as she took hold of his left hand with her right hand and began leading him to Grizzlepike.

"I won our duel, now keep your word and apologize to Yuya for what you said about his father". Lulu demanded with narrowed eyes at Grizzlepike, who raised his head and glared at her and Yuya. "Apologize for what? Telling the truth about his coward of a father and the fact that he abandoned them? How pathetic that crybaby really is, showing him his rightful place beneath my feet!? Forget it, I'm not gonna apologize for saying the truth, and you're gonna learn what happens to people that cross me!" Grizzlepike shouted out in rage as he shot to his feet and ran towards Yuya and Lulu with his right fist reared back, making the two teens widen their eyes in panic.

However, suddenly something grabbed Grizzlepike's right fist before he could thrust it out and stopped the bully dead in his tracks, making him widen his eyes in shock. "What were you about to do?" A voice asked in an icy tone, making Grizzlepike turn around to face who asked that questioned.

However, Grizzlepike was caught in a glare harder than steel, the sheer ice in that stare caused the bully to freeze on the spot, completely paralyzed. A glare that could only be pulled off by Yusei Fudo. At the sight of Yusei, Lulu grew a happy smile on her face, while Yuya was wondering who stopped Grizzlepike, but had a bit of admiration in his eyes.

"Well, what were you about to do?" Yusei questioned once more, his icy cold eyes glaring into Grizzlepike's eyes, who was shaking in fear. "N-n-no-th-in-g". The bully stuttered in absolute fear, feeling as if he was staring into the eyes of a dragon itself. "Good…" The Shooting Star of Satellite began as he tossed Grizzlepike to the ground away from Lulu and Yuya, before stepping in front of the two 14-year-olds and glared down at the bully.

"From now on, you're gonna do nothing to Yuya or Lulu ever again, is that understood!?" Yusei told the bully with his glare still directed at Grizzlepike, who nodded quickly with his face full of fear towards the 19-year-old. "Y-Y-yes sir". Grizzlepike croaked out, making Lulu giggle a bit and Yuya try not to laugh at how he answered.

"Good, now get lost!" Yusei told the bully, who obeyed as he shot back on his feet and ran away as if he saw death itself. Seeing Grizzlepike gone, Yusei turned to glare at the bully's friends, which the four quickly ran after their leader. Seeing the bullies gone, Yusei turned to face Yuya and Lulu and saw the female teenager smiling happily at him, while the male teenager was looking at him in awe.

"Who are you?" Yuya asked Yusei in awe, admiration and respect for what he's done, making the Shooting Star of Satellite smile at him. "The name's Yusei, Yusei Fudo, and you've already met Lulu". The 19-year-old answered as he looked at Lulu, who couldn't contain herself as she ran up to Yusei and hugged him in joy with her eyes closed, surprising the Shooting Star of Satellite a bit.

"I-I'm…" Yuya tried to introduce himself, but felt really nervous, making Yusei lightly smile at him. "Yuya Sakaki, son of Yusho Sakaki, right?" Yusei asked, getting the young 14-year-old to widen his eyes, losing all nervousness as he looked at the Shooting Star of Satellite with desperate eyes. "You know my dad?" Yuya asked in surprise, getting Yusei to nod to him, while Lulu stopped hugging him, before she wrapped her arms around Yusei's right hand.

"He is a great man that I respect, especially his way of Dueling. In fact, he was the one that suggested coming here to Paradise City". Yusei answered the young teenage boy, making him gasp before he gave the older male a look of desperation. "D-do you know where my dad is?" Yuya asked Yusei, who could hear the desperation in his voice, making him narrow his eyes before he nodded to the younger male. "I do know where your father is". The Shooting Star of Satellite answered Yuya, getting Lulu to look at him in surprise at how quickly he answered, wondering if he knew how they were gonna explain to Yuya that his father was in another dimension.

"Where did my dad go? Why did he disappear? Why hasn't he come back?" Yuya asked Yusei in desperation as he ran forward and grabbed a hold of the older male's shirt, looking up at him with eyes full of desperation, making Yusei give him a gentle gaze. "I'll tell you, but we should go to your house. Your mother deserves to hear what I'm about to say". Yusei told the 14-year-old boy, who looked a bit disappointed that he'd have to wait, before he nodded.

"O-okay". Yuya said as he let go of Yusei's shirt and stepped away with a sad look on his face, getting Lulu to look at him in concern. Lulu let go of Yusei's arm before she walked up to Yuya and placed her left hand on his cheek, making the tomato haired boy look at her in surprise. "Don't be sad, we're not leaving anytime soon. You'll learn what happened to your father soon, just be a bit patient". Lulu said in a gentle tone to comfort Yuya as she gave him a sweet smile, making him blush again.

"O-Okay". Yuya said in a nervous tone, making Lulu happy as she let go of his face, though he actually wished she kept her hand there a little longer. Lulu turned to face Yusei, who had watched everything between her and Yuya with a natural face. "Yusei, where's Rin?" Lulu asked the 19-year-old, wondering where the green haired girl is.

Yusei was about to answer Lulu, but someone beat him to it. "I'm over here!" A familiar voice called out, getting everyone's attention as they looked to see Rin coming up to them, while pushing Yusei's Duel Runner herself. At the sight of Rin, Yuya gasped in surprise to see that like Lulu, she had the same face as his childhood friend.

"When Yusei heard I didn't know where you were, he came rushing over here to find you, leaving his Duel Runner with me". Rin told Lulu as she placed Yusei's Duel Runner in parking mode, before she walked up to the purple haired girl and gave her a stern look. "I told you to have fun, but not to wonder off!" Rin scolded Lulu, making the purple haired girl smile nervously at her. "S-sorry". Lulu nervously apologized to the green haired girl, who sighed with her eyes closed, before she opened them and gave the purple haired girl a smile.

"Just tell me next time that you're gonna be away for a while, okay?" Rin requested, which Lulu nodded with a smile. "I will". Lulu promised Rin, who laughed lightly as she brought Lulu into a hug, surprising her but she returned it. However, that was when Rin took notice of Yuya, getting her to slightly widen her eyes in surprise. 'Yugo?' Rin thought to herself in surprise, thinking Yuya was her childhood friend.

Yusei took notice of Rin's surprised look and knew what she was thinking. "This is Yuya Sakaki, Rin. Yuya, this is Lulu's sister, Rin". Yusei introduced Rin to Yuya, receiving surprised looks from both the mentioned girl and Lulu, having not expected him to say something like that. Yusei gave the two girls a look, which the two girls understood as Rin broke her hug with Lulu, before she walked up to Yuya and gave him a short bow.

"I'm Rin, you've already met my sister Lulu". Rin greeted Yuya with a smile, who returned it, but it was a bit uneasy. "Hi there, it's nice to meet you Rin". Yuya greeted the green haired girl as Rin stood up from her bowing position. "Yuya, I have a message for you and your mother". Yusei told the 14-year-old, getting Yuya's attention as he turned to face the older male.

Yusei brought out the two letters and gave one of them to Yuya, who looked down at the letter and saw his name on it. "Your father asked me to give that letter to you, and this one to your mother. Can you take us to your house?" Yusei asked the young teenage boy, who spent the next 30 seconds looking down at the letter, before he looked back at the Shooting Star of Satellite. "Sure, follow me". Yuya answered as he turned around and began walking away. Yusei began pushing his Duel Runner as he followed after Yuya with Lulu and Rin following him.

(30 minutes later)

Yuya has been leading Yusei, Lulu and Rin for 30 minutes now, but every now and then, he kept checking on them, though mostly Lulu to Rin's confusion, but Yusei knew the reason for Yuya's actions, making the Shooting Star of Satellite chuckle. Eventually the 14-year-old lead them to a federation style house.

"Here we are guys, my home". Yuya told the group as he turned to face the three, who were looking at his home. "Nice place you got here". Rin complemented with a smile, liking the house very much. "It actually suits you, Yuya". Lulu commented with a smile on her face as she turned to look at Yuya, who nervously looked away so she wouldn't see his blushing face. Yusei chuckled at seeing this as he placed his Duel Runner in parking mode right next to the front door.

"T-T-thank you Lulu". Yuya thanked the purple haired girl for her kind words, before he walked up to the front door. Yuya opened the door and was about to walk through, before he stopped himself. Yuya was silent for a few seconds, before he stepped back and gestured to the door with his hands. "L-Ladies first". The tomato haired boy nervously said, making Lulu and Rin look slightly surprised, while Yusei was amused.

"Thank you Yuya". Lulu thanked the boy as she and Rin walked in first, before Yuya followed them and Yusei went last, closing the door behind them. The house had a TV, a refrigerator, table with four chairs, a kitchen and a pole in the living room. "Welcome to my home". Yuya welcomed Lulu, Rin and Yusei to his home, giving a little bow, making Lulu and Rin giggle a bit.

Suddenly everyone heard a meow and a soft bark, before a brown and white dog and heterochromia white cat came out of nowhere and ran up to Yuya. "Hey En, Core, how are you?" Yuya greeted the dog and cat with a smile as he knelt down and picked the dog up. "Look at how big you've gotten En. You used to be small enough to fit in my hand". Yuya said to the now named En, who barked happily at him.

Yusei, Lulu and Rin all watched Yuya interact with the dog, before they heard another meow, only much closer than before. Lulu cried out in surprise when she felt something grab her left leg, getting her to look down to see that the cat, Core had wrapped its paws around her leg. Lulu gave a small smile as she knelt down and picked up the cat with her hands and held him in front of her.

"Hi there, um… Core". Lulu nervously greeted the cat, still a bit nervous that she was actually holding a cat. She was never really a cat person considering that cats eat birds, and Lulu was more of a bird person, so she didn't have a good relationship with cats. Still, that wouldn't keep her from trying her best to get along with animals.

"Welcome home Yuya". A soft, young and kind voice said, getting everyone's attention as they looked to see an extremely young-looking woman walking up to them. She was a fairly tall and youthful-looking woman of slender built with green eyes and light skin. She had long blond hair, the front bangs being golden in color. Her hair was tied in a ponytail and sections out as spikes. Her bangs part to the right side and framed her face. She was wearing an aqua-colored long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans with brown low shoes. She also had silver big-loop earrings, two golden bands on her left wrist, and a small golden necklace hanging under her neck.

"Hey mum". Yuya greeted his mother with a smile, causing Yusei, Lulu and Rin to widen their eyes in surprise and disbelief. "That's your mother!?" Rin questioned in surprise and disbelief that this beautiful, youth looking woman was Yuya's mother and Yusho's wife. Even Lulu had a look of disbelief, though there was a bit of admiration at how young Yuya's mom looks.

"She's… looks like she's just 20-years-old". Yusei said in surprise, getting the woman's attention as she finally looked at the Shooting Star of Satellite. "Well, aren't you a handsome young man". Yuya's mother said with a smile, making Yusei slightly widen his eyes in surprise. "…thank you… I'm Yusei Fudo; it's nice to meet you". Yusei introduced himself to Yuya's mother with a short bow.

"I'm Yoko Sakaki; it's nice to meet such a handsome gentleman like you". Yoko introduced herself to Yusei, before she looked at Lulu and Rin with the purple haired girl still holding Core in her hands. "…Hello there, you two, what are your names?" Yoko greeted the two teenage girls, surprising Yuya at how calm she was, considering Lulu and Rin had the same face as Zuzu.

"I'm Lulu Obsidian". Lulu introduced herself to Yoko; still displaying a look of a look of admiration at how young she looked, even when she's a mother. "And I'm Rin, Lulu's…sister". Rin introduced herself to Yoko, hesitating a bit since she's still trying to get used to the whole 'sister' thing with Lulu.

"Mum, why are you acting like this isn't something to be surprised at!? Lulu and Rin have the exact same face as Zuzu!" Yuya asked his mother as he placed En down on the ground, wondering why she isn't freaking out at meeting two random girls with the same face as Zuzu. "Simple Yuya, they may look like Zuzu, but they aren't her. They have different hair and eye color, plus Lulu here has long hair". Yoko answered her son as she walked around Lulu, before she started stroking her hair, making the purple haired girl look a bit surprised.

"Not to mention, beautiful hair". The wife of Yusho added with a smile, making Lulu slightly blush a bit from her words. "T-thank you for your kind words, Mrs. Sakaki". Lulu thanked Yoko with a nervous smile on her face as the blond haired woman walked back in front of her. "Y-You're… really beautiful too". Lulu told Yoko with a flushed face, making the older female smile at her. "Thank you dear". Yoko thanked Lulu for her words as she rubbed the 14-year-old's head with her left hand.

"Yoko…" Yusei began to speak, getting Yoko's attention as she turned around to face him. "I have message for you… from your husband". The Shooting Star of Satellite revealed to her, making Yoko widen her eyes in disbelief. Yusei took the letter out of his pocket with his right hand and held it out to her, with Yoko staring at it in disbelief.

Slowly, Yoko took the letter from Yusei, before looking at it in disbelief. At the sight of seeing his mother with her letter, Yuya took his letter out from his pocket and looked at it with emotional eyes. "Yusho asked me to give these letters to you two, saying that they were important". Yusei told Yusho's wife and son, who didn't turn to look at him, instead continued to stare at the two letters in their hands. Lulu placed Core down on the ground, before both the cat and the dog ran off.

Yoko was the first one to open her letter as she tore the seal off of it, revealing the message inside. Yoko took ahold of the message with both her hands and read it carefully.

"Dear Yoko, how are you? I know a casual greeting like that won't make up for the time I've been away from home, or the more time I'll have away from you and Yuya. My actions three years ago have probably caused you and Yuya pain and suffering, I'm sorry for everything. Three years ago, on the day of the champion match, I learned an old friend of mine has been hurting people, taking away their joy and using Dueling as a means to destroy peoples' dreams. I couldn't stay, knowing that my friend was causing suffering, that's why I left to find my friend and try to stop him from hurting anymore people. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be away from you and Yuya, but I promise I'll come home someday. During my time away, I met Yusei, who helped me just as much as I helped him. He's a gifted young man; he gave not only me, but even students I've taken in hope for a better future. Please let him stay at our house for as long as he needs, he can help both You Show and Yuya. I trust him with my life and ask that you trust him as well. Love forever, your husband Yusho Sakaki". Yoko read the letter with tears of joy dripping from her eyes at finally seeing proof that her husband still loved her and their son.

Everyone watched Yoko cry with gentle smiles on their faces, Yuya especially because he's seen the pain his mother has been hiding from his father's disappearance. Yuya looked down at the letter in his hands, unable to find the strength within him to open it and read his father's message to him. Suddenly, Yuya felt a soft hand on his left shoulder, getting him to turn to see that it was Lulu. She gave the son of her teacher a gentle sweet smile as she took her hand off his shoulder, making him blush lightly, but returned the smile.

Finding the resolve, Yuya tore the seal off of it, revealing the message inside. Yuya took ahold of the message with both his hands and read it carefully.

"Dear Yuya, how's things going? I know a simple greeting like that won't make up for the time I've missed with you and your mother, and I'm sorry that I left on the day that I was to duel the Sledgehammer. Yuya read the letter with tears of joy dripping from his eyes at reading the words that his father wrote to him.

Feeling a soft hand on his shoulder again, Yuya turned to see that it was Lulu yet again, only this time she brought him into a hug. Yuya widened his eyes as his face turned bright red, but he nervously returned the hug to the purple haired girl with everyone watching with smiles on their faces.

Yoko turned to face Yusei and gave him a grateful smile on her face. "Thank you for delivering these messages to me and my son". Yoko thanked the Shooting Star of Satellite, who gave her a smile of his own. "Compared to what Yusho's done for me, this is small". Yusei told the kind hearted woman, still feeling like he owes Yusho a lot more, making Yoko chuckle. "I'm sure Yusho would appreciate what you've done for us". Yoko replied to Yusei, before she looked around the room.

She saw Lulu finish her hug with Yuya, who's face was still bright red, before she looked over to Rin, who had a knowing grin on her face as she finally knew what's going on between Yuya and Lulu. "You, Lulu and Rin are welcome to stay here as long as you need". Yoko told the 19-year-old, which he gave her an appreciated smile. "Thank you Yoko, I'll repay your kindness somehow". Yusei replied to the blond haired woman, swearing to repay her kindness somehow.

Back with Yuya, he was looking down to avoid eye contact with Lulu, who looked a bit confused at why he was avoiding eye contact with her. "Did I… do something wrong Yuya?" Lulu asked the tomato haired boy in concern that she did something that she wasn't suppose to, getting Yuya to finally make eye contact with her. "N-no, it's nothing like that. It's just that… I have a lot on my mind". Yuya told Lulu, telling her that she didn't do anything wrong, receiving an understanding look from her.

"I see, but if you need any help, you can always talk to me". Lulu told the tomato haired boy, who smiled at her. "Thanks Lulu". Yuya thanked the purple haired girl for her kind words, who smiled at him. Yuya then went back to looking at his letter, or more exact, certain lines. Yuya continued to stare at his message for a few moments, before he made his decision.

Yuya walked straight up to Yusei, getting the Shooting Star of Satellite's attention as he looked at the younger male. "Is something wrong Yuya?" Yusei asked the younger male, who kept looking down for a few seconds before he finally looked up at Yusei. "I challenge you to a duel, Yusei". Yuya challenged Yusei, surprising everyone while the Shooting Star of Satellite looked interested.

"Why do you want to duel me Yuya?" Yusei asked the younger male, wanting to hear Yuya's reasons on why he wanted to duel him. "…Dad said you could help me just like you helped him. I want to see what he meant when he said you can help me grow into my own duelist. He also mentioned that you can teach me lessons that he couldn't teach me. So please duel me". Yuya explained his reasons for wanting to duel Yusei, receiving an understanding look from him.

"I see. Alright Yuya, I'll duel you". Yusei told the younger boy, getting Yuya to let out an excited smile. "Thank you Yusei". Yuya thanked the Shooting Star of Satellite, who patted him on the head. "Before we duel, I want to ask you one question". Yusei told Yuya, getting the tomato haired boy curious on what he wanted to ask him about.

"What is it?" Yuya questioned the Shooting Star of Satellite, willing to answer whatever his question is. "What is Dueling to you?" Yusei asked the questioned, getting everyone to wonder why he asked that of all things. Like everyone, Yuya was wondering why Yusei asked that, but still answered him. "Dueling is a way to make everyone smile and bring them together. That's the dueling my father taught me, and I want to be just like him". Yuya answered Yusei's question with a smile, before it disappeared when he saw Yusei frown a bit.

"So this is what Yusho meant". Yusei said with his arms crossed, much to the confusion of everyone. "What do you mean?" Yuya asked the Shooting Star of Satellite in confusion, wonder what Yusei meant by that. "Yusho told me that you admired him so much that you wanted to become like him, but that was the problem. He tried to tell you to be your own person, but you never understood what he meant and continued to try to duel like him. He wants you to be your own duelist, so he asked me to help you". Yusei explained not only to Yuya, but to everyone what Yusho asked him to do.

Lulu and Rin had understanding looks on their faces since they were there with Yusei when Yusho asked him this favor. Yoko also had an understanding look her face as well, having discussed the same issue with her husband a few times in the past. The only one that didn't understood was Yuya. "I… don't understand. Why did dad say that? I'm not trying to copy him". Yuya said in confusion after hearing Yusei's words, looking down at his feet.

"That remains to be seen. The best way to find out is to duel you". Yusei told the young 14-year-old boy as he walked up to the front door and opened it, getting Yuya's attention. "Wait, you want to duel right now?" Yuya asked the Shooting Star of Satellite in surprise, getting Lulu and Rin to look at him in surprise, while Yusei looked a bit confused.

"Of course. Why ask that?" Yusei asked Yuya, turning around to face the younger male. "Shouldn't we go to You Show, and then we can have an Action Duel there". Yuya explained to Yusei, much to his, Rin and Lulu's confusion as they have no idea what he's talking about. "Not to be rude or anything, but what is an Action Duel?" Rin asked for her, Yusei and Lulu since this was the first time she's heard of an Action Duel.

Yuya turned to look at her and Rin saw the shock on his face. "You guys don't know what an Action Duel is?" The tomato haired boy asked in disbelief that she, Lulu and Yusei don't know what an Action Duel is. "N-no we don't, Yuya". Lulu answered for Rin with a confused look on her face, getting the tomato haired boy to look at her.

"Could you explain what an Action Duel is?" Lulu asked Yuya with a gentle tone, making him lightly blush. "S-Sure". Yuya answered Lulu, getting her to smile at him while Yusei closed the door. "You might want to take a seat. This could take a while". Yoko advised everyone with a smile, getting everyone to look at her. "She has a point". Rin said in agreement to what the blond haired woman said.

Less than 2 minutes later, everyone was seated on 5 chairs around the table with Yusei, Rin and Lulu sitting together on one side, while Yuya and Yoko were seated on the other side. It was quiet at first, but Yuya was the one to break it. "Action Duels are amazing. In Action Duels, Duelist can duel with their monsters, with the monsters given real bodies". Yuya began to explain, making Yusei slightly widen his eyes, while Lulu and Rin had a bit of fear in their eyes.

Normally the two girls would be amazed, but after seeing the tragedy of the United World and how Z-arc caused destruction with his dragons, the thought of Duel Monsters given real bodies in the real world scared the two a bit. "B-but wouldn't that mean that somebody's in danger?" Lulu questioned in concern, getting Yoko and Yuya to look at her in confusion. "N-no, why would you ask that?" Yoko asked the purple haired girl on why she asked that.

"If the monsters are given real bodies, doesn't that mean that an accident could happen and someone could get hurt?" Lulu answered Yoko's question with her own question, increasing the blond haired woman's confusion. "Get hurt how exactly?" The wife of Yusho Sakaki asked Lulu, getting the purple haired girl to look down to avoid eye contact with her, trying her best to not remember how the duelists of the United World were hurt or killed.

Seeing the look on Lulu's face, Yusei placed his right hand on her head and gave her a comforting rub, getting a thankful smile from her. "She means what if an accident happens and a Duel Monster hurts a Duelist". Yusei explained for Lulu, being careful with his words. "I still don't get what you mean, but nobody gets hurt in an Action Duel". Yuya answered with a confused look on his face.

Both Lulu and Rin sighed in relief at hearing that, confusing Yuya a bit more, before he continued. "In Action Duels, we duel in an Action Field. It's like a Field Spell, but different. An Action Field has what's called Action cards, and Duelists has to run around the field to find them. You can use these Action cards whenever you want, even on your opponent's turn". Yuya continued to explain more about Actions Duels to the three, receiving interested looks from Lulu and Rin, while Yusei narrowed his eyes.

"The only downside is that you can only hold one Action card at a time". Yuya continued on with a smile at seeing the interest in Lulu's eyes. "Action cards can help make the duel more interesting. All the Action cards are random, so you'll never know which one you'll get". Yoko added with a smile as Lulu and Rin grew more excited by the second. "What about normal duels?" Yusei suddenly questioned, getting everyone's attention as they looked at the Shooting Star of Satellite.

"Do people still have normal duels? Or do they just Action Duel?" Yusei questioned one more as he crossed his arms. "Well… people still have normal duels, but it's not as popular as Action Duels, or exciting. Lots of people have organized their decks for Action Duels". Yuya answered Yusei, making the older male narrow his eyes in a dangerous way. "Even you?" The Shooting Star of Satellite asked, receiving a nod from Yuya.

Yusei was silent for a few moments, before he spoke. "As interesting as this Action Duel is, I'd prefer to have a normal duel with you". Yusei told the tomato haired boy, making him look a bit nervous. "Well… I… prefer an Action Duel". Yuya told Yusei, who narrowed his eyes even more at him. "You can't rely on Action cards all the time, that's why we're gonna duel the old fashion way". Yusei told Yuya as he got off his chair and began walking back outside of the house. Yuya had a nervous look on his face, before he noticed Lulu looking at him. Suddenly feeling determined, Yuya got off his chair and went after Yusei.

Half a minute later, everyone was outside the house in the backyard. Yusei and Yuya were standing 10 feet away from them with both males having their Duel Disks attached to their left forearms. Lulu, Rin and Yoko were standing up with the three females watching from the side. "Are you ready for this, Yuya?" Yusei asked the younger male as he brought out his deck and slotted it into his Duel Disk. "You bet!" Yuya answered the Shooting Star of Satellite as he brought out his deck and slotted it into his Duel Disk.

Both decks shuffled, before the blades of the Duel Disks activated. "Remember, this Duel is just for me to see what kind of a Duelist you are, no pressure". Yusei reminded the tomato haired boy, who nodded to him. "I know Yusei, but I'm not going easy". Yuya replied to the Shooting Star of Satellite, who smirked at his words. "Let's Duel!" Yusei and Yuya called out as they drew their starting hand.

"You can have the first move Yuya". Yusei told the tomato haired boy, who let out a grin. "Don't mind if I do!" Yuya exclaimed with a smirk as he picked a card from his hand, before he placed it on the blade of his Duel Disk. "I Summon Performapal Turn Trooper!" Yuya called out as Performapal Turn Trooper appeared in front of him.

Performapal Turn Trooper ATK Points: 1200/ Level: 4.

Yusei slightly widen his eyes in surprise at seeing Turn Trooper. 'A Performapal monster? Could Yuya be using a deck similar to Yusho's deck?' The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself in surprise at seeing Yuya using a similar deck to his father. Like Yusei, Lulu and Rin were surprised as well at seeing Yuya use Performapals.

"Now if a Performapal monster was Summoned, I can Special Summon Performapal Helpprincess!" Yuya explained as he held up the card between his right hand's index and middle fingers, before he placed it on the blade. Appearing in front of Yuya was a female monster humanoid monster wearing purple.

Performapal Helpprincess ATK Points: 1200/ Level: 4.

At the sight of Helpprincess, Rin began giggling, getting both Yoko and Lulu's attention as they looked at her. "What's so funny?" Lulu asked Rin in curiosity, wondering why she was giggling. Rin looked at the purple haired girl with a giggle. "Helppincess looks exactly like you, Lulu". Rin answered her friend, making Lulu to slightly widen her eyes before she looked at Helpprincess.

Indeed both she and Helpprincess looked a little similar, much to her surprise. "I feel a bit envious of you Lulu, having a Duel Monster that looks a lot like you". Yoko said to the purple haired girl, making her slightly blush a bit. "With this, I end my turn! It's your move Yusei, let's liven up our audience!" Yuya declared his turn over with a smile on his face.

Yusei Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 5.

"I draw". Yusei said as he drew his card with his right hand, taking a moment to look at it, before he placed it on the blade of his Duel Disk. "I Summon Max Warrior!" Yusei called out as Max Warrior appeared in front of him.

Max Warrior ATK Points: 1800/ Level: 4.

"Now Max Warrior, take out that Turn Trooper!" Yusei commanded his Warrior-Type monster, which Max Warrior obeyed as it jumped high into the air, before diving down towards Turn Trooper with his weapon out. "Turn Trooper's special ability activates! When a monster battles, Turn Trooper gains a counter!" Yuya explained his monster's special ability as an orange aura surrounded Turn Trooper.

Performapal Turn Trooper counters: 0 + 1 = 1.

"Turn Trooper's not the only one that can activate his effect during a battle! When Max Warrior battles an opponent's monster, he gains 400 ATK Points!" Yusei explained his monster's special ability as Max Warrior grew in size a bit.

Max Warrior ATK Points: 1800 + 400 = 2200.

"2200 ATK Points, that's nuts!? Good thing I have Turn Trooper! If Turn Trooper has at least one counter, he can negate an attack!" Yuya exclaimed as Turn Trooper created a force field around himself, blocking Max Warrior's attack, before pushing the Warrior-Type back.

Max Warrior ATK Points: 2200 – 400 = 1800.

"Not bad Yuya. I'll set two face downs and end my turn". Yusei said with a smirk on his face as he held up two cards, before he swiped them into his Duel Disk. Two face downs appeared in front of Yusei, while Max Warrior landed next to the Shooting Star of Satellite.

Yuya Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 3.

"My turn now, I draw!" Yuya called out with a wide smile as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, holding the card up in the air between his right hand's index and middle fingers. Yuya looked at what he drew, and a wide smile appeared on his field. "Alright, it's here!" Yuya called out in joy, getting Yusei, Lulu and Rin curious on what card he drew.

"He seems excited". Rin stated with her arms crossed, wondering what card made Yuya so happy. "That card must be one of his favorites". Lulu commented with a bit of surprise on her face. Unlike Lulu and Rin, Yoko had a knowing smile on her face, knowing exactly what her son drew.

"Get ready Yusei! I release Performapal Turn Trooper and Performapal Helpprincess…!" Yuya began as Turn Trooper and Helpprincess turned into sparkles and merged together, creating a bright light. "Now put your hands together and welcome... our main attraction! One of the wonders of the dragon world, the spectacular Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yuya called out as he placed the card on the blade, while the light died down to show his monster. Appearing was one of the dragons that formed the Supreme King Z-ARC, Odd-Eyes Dragon.

Odd-Eyes Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

Lulu and Rin slightly widen their eyes with a hint of fear in them at the sight of the dragon, while Yusei narrowed his eyes at Odd-Eyes Dragon. 'Odd-Eyes Dragon, one of the four dragons that created the Supreme King Z-Arc'. Yusei thought to himself with narrowed eyes, before he noticed something. He felt no… darkness coming from Odd-Eyes, nor any evil in the dragon.

'I don't sense any darkness or evil in Odd-Eyes, it's like it was never part of Supreme King Z-ARC'. Yusei thought to himself in surprise that he couldn't sense the same darkness he felt from Supreme King Z-ARC coming from Odd-Eyes Dragon. "Odd-Eyes, attack Max Warrior with Spiral Flare!" Yuya commanded his ace monster, which the dragon gave out a cry as it unleashed a dark red beam from its mouth, obliterating Max Warrior. (2500 – 1800 = 700)

Yusei Life Points: 4000 – 700 = 3300.

"Looks like I'm in the lead, Yusei!" Yuya exclaimed with a wide smile on his face, making Yusei smirk at him. "You've got a lot to learn, Yuya. Allow me to show you with the Trap Revival Ticket!" The Shooting Star of Satellite called out as one of his face down cards revealed itself. "At the end of the Battle Phase, if a monster I control was destroyed, by destroying cards equal to the number of monsters that were destroyed, not only does Max Warrior come back, but I gain Life Points equal to the battle damage I took!" Yusei explained his Trap's effect as his second face down was destroyed. "So say hello again to Max Warrior!" The Shooting Star of Satellite exclaimed as a portal appeared next to him and Max Warrior came out.

Max Warrior ATK Points: 1800/ Level: 4.

Yusei Life Points: 3300 + 700 = 4000.

"No way!" Yuya called out in surprise at how Yusei recovered from his attack. "That's not all! The face down card I destroyed was Limiter Break!" Yusei added as the destroyed face down reappeared and revealed itself. "When this card is sent to the graveyard, it allows me to Summon Speed Warrior!" Yusei explained his Trap's effect as a card slotted out of his deck. Yusei took the card and placed it on his Duel Disk's blade, before a portal appeared and Speed Warrior came out, appearing in a dramatic fashion.

Speed Warrior ATK Points: 900/ Level: 2.

"Oh my, that's quite impressive". Yoko commented with an impressed tone at seeing Yusei not only recover, but better than before. "I expected nothing less from Yusei". Rin remarked with a smile as she watched Yusei with a look of admiration. "Do your best, Yuya, Yusei!" Lulu called out with a smile, encouraging both Yusei and Yuya to do their best.

"It's my move now!" Yusei called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, taking a moment to look at it before he held it out. "Check this out! I release Max Warrior to Special Summon Turret Warrior!" Yusei called out as Max Warrior burst into a white light, before Turret Warrior came out of it.

Turret Warrior ATK Points: 1200/ Level: 5.

"When Turret Warrior is Summoned from its effect, it gains ATK Points equal to the monster released to Summon it! Max Warrior had 1800 ATK Points, so Turret Warrior gains 1800!" Yusei explained as a white aura covered Turrent Warrior, powering up the Warrior-Type monster.

Turret Warrior ATK Points: 1200 + 1800 = 3000.

"3000 ATK Points!?" The tomato haired boy called out in surprise at the huge power up. "That's right, but he won't be sticking around for long! Now I Summon the Tuner monster, Nitro Synchron!" Yusei called out as he held the Tuner monster's card out, before he placed it on the blade. A red burst of energy appeared, before it cleared to reveal Nitro Synchron.

Nitro Synchron ATK Points: 300/ Level: 2.

Both Yuya and Yoko widened their eyes in surprise at the sight of Nitro Synchron and at what Yusei said. "That thing's a Tuner Monster!?" Yuya called out in surprise at what he was seeing. "That's right Yuya, and now Nitro Synchro tunes with Turret Warrior!" Yusei called out as the pressure gauge on Nitro Synchro's head went from zero to full, before he transformed into two green rings.

The rings went around Turret Warrior, scanning him with the Warrior-Type monster turning orange transparent, before becoming five lights. A bright beam appeared and consumed the lights and rings. "I Synchro Summon, Nitro Warrior!" The Shooting Star of Satellite called out to the heavens as Nitro Warrior came out of the beam, flying into the air and let out a battle cry.

Nitro Warrior ATK Points: 2800/ Level: 7.

"You can Synchro Summon?!" Yuya called out in surprise at seeing Yusei Synchro Summon, since Synchro users were rare. "Since Nitro Synchron was used as Synchro Material for a Nitro Synchro Monster, I get to draw a card!" Yusei explained as he drew another card from his deck, taking a moment to look at it before he added it to his hand. "Go Nitro Warrior, attack Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yusei called out as he thrust out his right hand. Nitro Warrior began diving down towards Odd-Eyes, with the dragon looking up at it in surprise.

"Get ready, everyone! I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Hippo Carnival!" Yuya called out as his face down revealed itself. Three sparkles appeared, before three different coloured dancing hippos appeared, making Yusei and Rin slightly widen their eyes, while Lulu giggled at the sight.

"Huh?!" Yusei called out in confusion as Nitro Warrior slammed both his fists into the yellow skin hippo, destroying it. "This Spell Special Summons three Hippo Tokens to my field, and you can only attack them". The tomato haired boy explained his Spell's effect as the remaining two Hippo Tokens continued to dance, much to Lulu's enjoyment. "Well, that's… an effective effect". Rin slowly said, seeing it was a handy effect, but honestly felt a little weird with the appearance.

"That's an impressive strategy Yuya, but it's not perfect". Yusei told Yuya with a smirk on his face, getting the 14-year-old boy confused at what he was saying. "When Nitro Warrior destroys an opponent's monster, its special ability activated! First, Nitro Warriors switches a monster you control from DEF Mode into ATK Mode…!" The Shooting Star of Satellite began to explain as Nitro Warrior swiped his left arm out, blowing a gale of wind at the brown hippo, forcing the token to spin around for 3 seconds, before it stopped with the token having swirly eyes.

"Then, Nitro Warrior can attack!" Yusei finished, making Yuya widen his eyes in surprise. "A second attack!?" The tomato haired boy called out in surprise that the Synchro Monster can attack again. "Go Dynamic Crunch!" Yusei called out as green energy covered Nitro Warrior's fists, taking the form of its hands. Nitro Warrior then flatten the brown hippo, making it blow up and even sending Yuya flying off the ground. (2800 – 0 = 2800)

Yuya Life Points: 4000 – 2800 = 1200.

Yuya slammed onto the ground from the force of the attack. Yoko looked surprised at how her son lost more than half his Life Points in just one attack. "Talk about no mercy at all". Yoko said in surprise at seeing the one turn slaughter. "That's Yusei for you". Rin remarked with a smile, before she turned around and saw that Lulu was looking at Yuya with a worried look, making her giggle.

"Now Speed Warrior, attack the last Hippo Token!" Yusei commanded Speed Warrior, who obeyed as it took off to the last scared Hippo Token. Speed Warrior spun around, before kicking the Hippo Token in the stomach, destroying the last token. With his task complete, Speed Warrior returned to Yusei's side, while Yuya was on his left knee. "I'll set two face downs and end my turn". Yusei said as he held up two cards, before he swiped them into his Duel Disk with two face downs appearing in front of him.

Yuya Life Points: 1200/ Number of cards in hand: 2.

Yuya breathed heavily as he stood up fully on his feet and held his Duel Disk in front of him, while Yusei didn't seem fazed at all. It was silent for a few moments, before eventually, Yuya spoke. "Yusei... I don't get it. You said you respected my dad's way of dueling, right? Then how are you and I so different?" The 14-year-old questioned the 19-year-old, who chuckled at the questioned. "The reason why is simple. It's because you haven't become the Duelist that you're supposed to be". Yusei answered the younger male, making Yuya and everyone else widen their eyes in surprise.

"W-What do you mean?" Yuya questioned Yusei in confusion, having no idea what the Shooting Star of Satellite meant. "Why do you duel like your father?" Yusei answered with his own question, increasing Yuya's confusion. "I-it's because I want to make everyone happy, just like how my dad made everyone smile". Yuya replied to Yusei, making the 19-year-old chuckle a bit more at his answer.

"Yuya, your father wanted to bring joy to everyone, but he didn't want everyone to duel like him. He wanted Duelists to duel with their hearts, as themselves, not trying to imitate someone else. He wanted to be a mentor to everyone to show that Dueling can be used to bring people together". Yusei began to explain to the young 14-year-old boy, who slightly widened his eyes. "My heart...? What do you mean?" Yuya questioned Yusei, the Shooting Star of Satellite's words affecting him greatly.

"You've Dueled just like how Yusho would duel. But, you're not Yusho Sakaki". Yusei answered Yuya, making him lightly gasped as he began to understand. "I know that in your heart, there is a duelist who will create his own way of Dueling, something that speaks to you. Yuya, the time has come to reclaim your soul!" Yusei exclaimed as he pointed at Yuya with his right hand's index finger, making the 14-year-old's eyes shot open in disbelief.

Yuya felt... lighter now, as if a great weight has been lifted off his shoulders and felt... free. Yuya looked at the cards in his hand, feeling like he was free from a curse he's lived.

"You're right. I'm not Yusho Sakaki; I'm Yuya Sakaki, my own person!" Yuya exclaimed with eyes full of determination, making Yusei smile at him. "Then come and show me your spirit as a Duelist!" Yusei told Yuya as he held up his Duel Disk in front himself, which Yuya nodded. "I'm ready to duel! Starting from here on out, I duel as myself, not like my father!" Yuya exclaimed as he held up his Duel Disk, now full of energy and ready to duel. The two locked eyes with each other, both showing determination. What neither of the two notice was that Yuya's pendant was shining a bit.

"Do your best, Yuya, Yusei!" Lulu called out in encouragement for both Yuya and Yusei with a smile on her face. "And don't forget to have fun!" Rin called out with a smile as well. Yoko kept quiet, but she had a thankful smile on her face. 'Yusei, thank you for helping Yuya find his own way to duel'. The blond haired woman thought to herself with a smile on her face, grateful to the Shooting Star of Satellite.

"I draw!" Yuya cried out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion, taking a moment to look at it, before he swiped it into his Duel Disk. "I activate the Spell card, Pot of Greed!" The tomato haired boy called out as the Spell appeared in front of him, before a green pot with the face of a greedy man appeared. "This card allows me to draw 2 cards!" Yuya explained his Spell's effect as he drew two more cards from his deck, while the pot shattered.

Yuya looked at the two cards in his hand and smirked at seeing one of them. "Alright Yusei, get ready because things are about to get crazy! I release Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yuya began as Odd-Eyes Dragon roared, before a bright light covered him. "…To Advance Summon Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon!" The tomato haired boy continued as the bright light cleared to reveal that Odd-Eyes had evolved.

It was bigger now, and even had wings. It had grown horns at the side of its face, its tail even longer than before and the legs had grown bulkier and longer. Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon let out a powerful as it spread its wings, making a dramatic entrance.

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon ATK Points: 3000/ Level: 8.

"Attaboy Yuya!" Yusei exclaimed with a smirk at seeing Yuya's new way of Dueling, making the tomato haired boy smirk right back at him. "I'm not done yet Yusei! I activate Advance Dragon's special ability! If this card is Tribute Summoned, I can destroy a monster you control and you take damage equal to its original ATK Points!" The 14-year-old boy explained as Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon began gathering energy in its mouth, before unleashing a blackish red beam at Nitro Warrior, destroying the Synchro Monster.

Yusei Life Points: 4000 – 2800 = 1200.

Despite Nitro Warrior's destruction, Yusei remained unfazed. "I reveal my Trap, Synchro Last Will!" Yusei called out as one of his face down card revealed itself, with the image showing three cards shooting out of the destroyed body of Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth.

(Synchro Last Will/ Effect: Trap/ Effect: If a Synchro Monster you control is destroyed, draw one card for every two Levels your destroyed monster has. If you Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster, you can banish this card from the graveyard and draw one card.)

"When a Synchro Monster is destroyed, this Trap allows me to draw 1 card for every 2 Levels that Synchro Monster has! Since Nitro Warrior was Level 7, I get to draw 3 cards!" Yusei explained his Trap's effect as he drew three more cards from his deck and added them to his hand. "It's a real shame you won't get to use them Yusei, Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon attacks Speed Warrior!" Yuya called out as he held out his right hand as Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon began gathering energy in his mouth.

"Not today Yuya, I activate the Trap, Card Defense!" The Shooting Star of Satellite called out as his last face down card revealed itself. "By sending a card from my hand to the graveyard…!" Yusei began to explain as he sent Sonic Warrior's card from his hand to the graveyard. "Your attack is negated!" Yusei continued as a barrier of cards appeared around Speed Warrior.

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon unleashed its attack, but the barrier of cards protected Speed Warrior, deflecting the Dragon type's attack into the air. "Then I draw a card!" The Shooting Star of Satellite finished as he drew another card from his deck, adding it to his hand. "Aww nuts! I was kinda hoping that face down was a card that negated damage. If Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon had destroyed your monster, it could have brought a Level 5 or higher monster from my hand or graveyard to the field in DEF Mode". Yuya said in disappointment that his plan didn't work.

Yuya looked at the last two cards in his hand, but to his disappointment, they were just monster cards. "I have nothing to do, I'll end my turn here". Yuya declared his turn over, having nothing else to do.

Yusei Life Points: 1200/ Number of cards in hand: 4.

"Not bad Yuya, you've proven to be a Duelist full of potential". Yusei said with an impressed look on his face, making Yuya smile at him. "It's thanks to you Yusei. You've helped me become my own Duelist, and I really owe you for that". The tomato haired boy replied to the older male, making him smile at the 14-year-old boy.

Lulu, Rin and Yoko were also impressed with Yuya's move and with how he almost obtained victory. "Looks like Yuya's tougher than I expected". Rin commented with an impressed look on her face after seeing Yuya's last move. "Yuya's finally found his own duelist, so it's natural that he'd duel better than before". Yoko explained to the green haired girl, getting her to look at the blond haired mother with a curious look on her face. Lulu kept quiet, but she had a proud look on her face.

"It's my move!" Yusei called out as he drew his card with his right hand, before holding it in front of him. Yusei saw that the card he drew was the Spell card, Tuning. 'Tuning, now I can add any Tuner monster from my deck to my hand'. Yusei thought to himself as he looked at the cards in his hand, before he closed his eyes and focused.

In Yusei's mind, Synchro Chase, Speed Warrior, Tuning, Synchron Carrier, Junk Synchron, Sonic Warrior, Boost Warrior, Junk Warrior and Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon's cards all appeared. 'Now I can see the combo to end this duel'. The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself as a light green bolt of electricity came out of Tuning, before transferring over to Synchron Carrier, Junk Synchron, Sonic Warrior, Boost Warrior, Synchro Chaser, Junk Warrior and finally to Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon.

Yusei opened his eyes, which were full of resolve as he held up the Tuning Spell card. "First off, I'll activate the Spell Tuning!" The Shooting Star of Satellite began, before he slotted the card into his Duel Disk with the Spell appearing in front of him. "This Spell allows me to add any Tuner monster from my deck to my hand, but in exchange I have to send cards from my deck to the graveyard, equal to the Tuner monster's level!" Yusei explained his Spell's effect as a card slotted out of his Duel Disk and he picked it up, revealing it to be Junk Synchron.

"And since Junk Synchron is Level 3, three cards are going!" Yusei exclaimed as he drew the top three cards of his deck, seeing that they were Spirit Force, Rush Warrior and Fighting Spirit, before he sent them to the graveyard. Yusei held Junk Synchron's card with his pinkie and ring fingers, while he grabbed another card from his hand from his hand with his index and middle fingers. "Now I Summon Synchron Carrier!" Yusei called out as he placed the card on the blade, while Synchron Carrier appeared on his field.

Synchron Carrier ATK: 0/ Level: 2.

"Thanks to Synchron Carrier's Effect, I'm allowed to Normal Summon a Synchron monster from my hand to the field". Yusei explained as he picked another card from his hand and placed it on the blade. A black portal appeared in front of Yusei with Synchron Carrier dropping its tow from its back into the black portal.

"With Synchron Carrier's effect, I Summon the Tuner Monster, Junk Synchron in ATK Mode!" Yusei called out as Synchron Carrier started pulling its tow up from the black portal, revealing that Junk Synchron was holding onto it the whole time, before the Tuner monster let go of it and floated in front of the Shooting Star of Satellite.

Junk Synchron ATK: 1300/ Level 3.

"Junk Synchro's special ability activates! When he's Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon any Level 2 or below monster in my graveyard! I bring back Sonic Warrior!" Yusei continued to explain as Junk Synchron held out his left hand to the side, before Sonic Warrior reappeared next to the Tuner monster.

Sonic Warrior DEF Points: 0/ Level: 2.

"Now if I control a Tuner monster, I can Special Summon Boost Warrior from my hand!" Yusei called out as he picked a card from his hand and swiped it onto his blade, with Boost Warrior appearing besides Speed Warrior.

Boost Warrior ATK Points: 300/ Level: 1.

"So long as this card remains on the field, all Warrior-Type monsters gains 300 ATK Points! In other words, Junk Synchron, Speed Warrior, Boost Warrior and Sonic Warrior get a power up!" Yusei explained his monster's special ability as a white aura covered Junk Synchron, Boost Warrior, Sonic Warrior and Speed Warrior.

Speed Warrior ATK Points: 900 + 300 = 1200.

Boost Warrior ATK Points: 300 + 300 = 600.

Junk Synchron ATK Points: 1300 + 300 = 1600.

Sonic Warrior ATK Points: 1000 + 300 = 1300.

"Those monsters…" Yoko commented as she noticed that they were all low level monsters. "They're the cards that Yusei uses in all his Duels. No matter how low their ATK Points are… No matter how low their Levels are…" Rin said as she thought back to all of Yusei's duels she's seen. "They're the monsters that Yusei loves and uses! They're his friends that support him no matter what". Lulu said with a smile on her face at seeing how close Yusei was to his cards.

"Now I activate the Continuous Spell card, Synchro Chase!" Yusei called out as he held up the Spell card, before he swiped it into his Duel Disk with the card appearing on his field. "Now Level 3 Junk Synchron tunes with Level 2 Sonic Warrior!" The Shooting Star of Satellite called out as Sonic Warrior took to the skies, while Junk Synchron pulled his lever, causing him to transform into three green rings.

The three rings all flew into the air, while Sonic Warrior flew into them, turning transparent as the three rings scanned him. Sonic Warrior then transformed into two lights that lined up in the three rings, before a beam appeared and consumed the lights and rings, creating a gale of wind that made Yusei's jacket blew in the breeze. "Junk Warrior, let's rev it up!" Yusei called out to the heavens as Junk Warrior came out of the beam and flew up into the air in front of the sun, thrusting his right fist out, making a dramatic entrance.

Junk Warrior ATK Points: 2300 + 300 = 2600/ Level: 5.

"Junk Warrior, Sonic Warrior and Synchro Chaser's effects all activate! First Synchro Chaser allows me to Special Summon back a monster used as Synchro Material for the Synchro Summon of a Warrior, Synchron or Stardust monster, so say hello again to Sonic Warrior!" Yusei explained his Spell's effect as a portal appeared beside him and Sonic Warrior came out.

Sonic Warrior DEF Points: 0/ ATK Points: 1000 + 300 = 1300/ Level: 2.

"Now Sonic Warrior's special ability activates! When Sonic Warrior is used as Synchro Material, all level 2 or lower monsters on my field gains 400 ATK Points!" The Shooting Star of Satellite continued to explain as a ghostly image of Sonic Warrior appeared behind him, before releasing some kind of sound wave at Sonic Warrior, Speed Warrior, Synchron Carrier and Boost Warrior, boosting their power.

Speed Warrior ATK Points: 1200 + 400 = 1600.

Boost Warrior ATK Points: 600 + 400 = 1000.

Synchron Carrier ATK Points: 0 + 400 = 400.

Sonic Warrior ATK Points: 1300 + 400 = 1700.

"And finally Junk Warrior gains the ATK Points of all Level 2 or lower monsters I control!" Yusei finished explaining as light blue auras covered Sonic Warrior, Synchron Carrier, Boost Warrior and Speed Warrior, before they all shot out towards Junk Warrior, causing the Synchro Monster to be covered in a light blue aura. "The power of fellowship!" The Shooting Star of Satellite called out as Junk Warrior powered up big time.

Junk Warrior ATK Points: 2600 + 1700 = 4300 + 400 = 4700 + 1000 = 5700 + 1600 = 7300.

"It's got 7300 ATK Points!?" Yuya called out in disbelief at seeing how high Junk Warrior's ATK Points were now. "Yusei's monsters all worked together to create this new power". Rin commented with wide eyes, also surprised at how powerful Junk Warrior was now. "Amazing…" Lulu said in awe at seeing how Yusei used low level monsters to power up Junk Warrior.

"Let's go Junk Warrior! Scrap Fist!" Yusei called out as Junk Warrior spun into the air in front of the sun, before his boosters went off with the Synchro Monster charging down towards Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon with his right energy covered fist out. Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon unleashed its blackish red blast attack from its mouth at Junk Warrior, but the Synchro monster charged right through with the energy around his fist growing super size, before he latterly flattened Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon, creating an explosion. Yuya cried out as his Life Points dropped. (7300 – 3000 = 4300)

Yuya Life Points: 1200 – 4300 = 0.

Winner: Yusei!

A screen appeared, announcing Yusei's victory, before it and all of Yusei's monsters disappeared. Defeated, Yuya collapsed to his knees with his eyes closed and sighed. The young 14-year-old opened his eyes, only to blink when he saw a hand in front of him, getting him to look up and see that it was Yusei, who gave him a proud smile. "Well done Yuya". Yusei praised the tomato haired boy, surprising Yuya a bit, before he smiled at the Shooting Star of Satellite.

Yuya grabbed hold of Yusei's right hand with his own hand, before the Shooting Star of Satellite pulled the younger male to his feet. "You've begun to walk your true path as a duelist, and you'll grow stronger. The fact that you almost defeated me is proof enough". Yusei told Yuya as he rubbed the tomato haired boy's head with his left hand, making Yuya blush in embarrassment. "T-T-Thank you Yusei". The young boy thanked the Shooting Star of Satellite with an embarrassed smile, before he looked down with a nervous look.

"Hey… Yusei…" Yuya began with a nervous look, getting Yusei curious on why he seemed so nervous. "What is it Yuya?" Yusei asked the young boy, wondering what it is that Yuya wants to ask him. "Could… could you be my teacher?" Yuya asked the Shooting Star of Satellite, making Yusei widen his eyes in surprise. Yusei wasn't the only one, Lulu, Yoko and Rin were all surprised at what Yuya said.

"Be your teacher?" Yusei questioned in confusion at Yuya's words, which the 14-year-old boy nodded to him. "I… want to grow as a Duelist, and as a person. I've just met you, but… I feel like you can teach me so much. I know this may sound weird, but it would mean so much to me". Yuya explained to Yusei why he wants him to be his teacher, getting the Shooting Star of Satellite to smile at him.

Yusei pat Yuya on the head, getting the younger boy to blink in surprise. "Alright Yuya, staring today you're my student". Yusei told the younger boy, getting the tomato haired boy to smile in excitement. Lulu, Rin and Yoko walked up to the two males with the three females smiling at them. "You two did good, well done Yuya". Yoko praised the two males, proud of her son for doing his best. "I admit; I wasn't expecting you to get Yusei's Life Points past 2000". Rin remarked with a smile on her face and her arms crossed.

Lulu walked up to Yuya and gave him a smile. "Even if you lost, you did your best Yuya. I'm proud of you". Lulu told the tomato haired boy with a smile, getting him to blush at her. Before Yuya had the chance to thank Lulu for her words, everyone heard a voice call out to one of them. "Yuya!" A female voice called out, getting everyone's attention as they looked to see Ray's standard piece, Zuzu Boyle running up to them with a worried look, having came through by the house's right side.

"I saw an explosion happen and I got worried that something happened to you! What happened?! Who attac-!" Zuzu began in deep concern, before she stopped dead in her tracks at seeing Lulu and Rin, who were looking at her with slightly wide eyes. It was quiet for a few seconds, before Zuzu broke the silence. "WHAT IN THE WORLD!?" The pink haired female exclaimed in shock and disbelief at seeing Lulu and Rin, making the two smile nervously at her. "Saw this coming". Yuya commented with his hands on his hips, making Yoko giggle and Yusei smile at him.

(Meanwhile in the Leo Institute)

Inside an office like room with a deck and view of Paradise city was a 16-year-old male. He was a thin young man with pale skin and grey hair, the front layer being a lighter grey than the back. His hair was arranged in a simple style, flicking upwards at the ends. He had purple eyes, wore red-framed spectacles. His ears are both pierced with black stud earrings. He was wearing a dark-blue sweater, white pants that end just above his ankles, and white shoes, along with a long red scarf wrapped around his shoulders with the ends trailing to the small of his back.

This young man's name is Declan Akaba, son of Leo Akaba and the younger half brother of Ray. He was currently sitting down on a chair, looking down at a screen that showed pictures of Yusei and Lulu. Earlier today, one of his employers informed him of a powerful Xyz Summon in Paradise City. Declan used the city's cameras to see who it was that released the Xyz energy and saw that it was Lulu.

Declan did some research and found absolutely nothing on her, no background, no profile, no anything except her name. However, just a little bit ago, a powerful Synchro energy was detected in the city. Curious, Declan had his employers do some research and found out that the Synchro energy came from Yusei. Just like with Lulu, he had absolutely nothing on him except his name.

Declan's employers were in disbelief that they had no information about Yusei and Lulu, but Declan had a suspicion on why they don't have any information on them. 'This Lulu Obsidian… could she be from the Xyz Dimension. And this Yusei Fudo… could he be from the Synchro Dimension…' Declan thought to himself as he continued to look down at the images of Yusei and Lulu, wondering if they're allies or enemies of his father, Leo Akaba.

He wouldn't know the answer until a month and two weeks have passed.

Five trials of cards started to line up in a row, before shining in a flash of light to reveal Paradise City. Yusei was standing in the city with his jacket blowing in the breeze. Yusei started walking through Paradise City, before holding up his right arm as his Duel Disk activated.

"What are you grasping for?"

"What good will it do you"

Yusei stood, looking off to the far left with various cards floating around him in a blue color.

"We're moving forward and we'll make sure to discover what"

"Never-ending sentiments"

"the passionate beats of our hearts"

"and the voice of truth are all what we heard"

Yuya appeared, holding a card in his right hand, before looking off to the right with his own trail of cards floating beside him in a red color.

"We got busted up and we learned"

"of where we can get stronger"

Cards appeared, before they cleared to reveal Yusei's face with his left side coloured black and white as flashes of previous Duels were reflected in his left side. A bright light appeared before it showed Yusei standing in an empty hallway, with the walls and floor made up of his various cards. The walls were made of cards such as Sonic Chick, Quilbolt Hedgehog, Speed Warrior and Junk Synchron. On the floor were Yusei's signature cards, Junk Warrior, Nitro Warrior, Lightning Warrior, Jet Warrior, Stardust Charge Warrior and Turbo Warrior.

"I'll search through the dreams in my hand"

"and one day I'll lead them all to you"

In a dark garage, Yusei started up his Duel Runner as his Duel Disk activated, before he placed his helmet on. The garage door opened and Yusei shot out aboard his Duel Runner. Yusei rode through the streets of Paradise City, passing through a park, where Lulu, Celina, Rin and Zuzu were. The four girls waved at Yusei as he passed by. Yusei drove through the You Show School, where Ally, Frederick, Tate, Yuya, Gong, Skip and Sora waved at him.

"Shouting the signal for the START"

"we'll do what our hearts want"

"and vault over our cramped"

"and mediocre lives"

Yusei drove off a bridge as the crimson energy appeared around his Duel Runner, before it formed crimson wings. Yusei flew past Leo tower, looking straight ahead.

"We'll make a DASH"

"and attain every bit of our brilliant futures"

Jet Warrior, Lightning Warrior, and Stardust Charge Warrior all appeared and lined up in the sky, before a pillar of light appeared and absorbed them. From the pillar of light came Stardust Dragon, who roared as it flew through the sky.

"Embracing the bonds we so believe in"

"we'll race toward tomorrow"

Stardust Dragon trailed behind his master as they flew through Paradise City, leaving a shinning trail behind. The trail lighted up, before it cleared to reveal Yusei and Yuya standing atop a monolith with cravings of their dragons looking across from them.
