However, he was sent to another world by the Crimson Dragon to stop a mad scientist and a powerful evil. 8. Chapter 8

Hey everyone, first of all, let me say I'm sorry for the lack of new chapters for this year. Things have been rough as my computer is slowly crumbling away as it now can't regain any charge. My updates will go back a bit because of this, but I'll see what I can still do. This chapter has been a long time coming for lots of you, and I'm sorry that it took this long. I'll try to do better next year, but it might be a little difficult as I might have a job to do. Now, to answer some reviews.

Andrew: I understand your reasons and concern, but I swear that Zuzu won't end up bad. She'll get her head straight eventually. I'm sorry, but Lulu isn't getting together with Yuto again, she'll stay with Yuya. I will tell you this, Zuzu and Yuto will get together though. My feelings won't hurt by your words, and perhaps the reason for Lulu's break up with Yuto seem wrong to you, but I made my decision. If the reasons seem shallow to you, then tell me how to change it to make sense.

Unknown guest: I admit that the idea is very interesting, but I can't do it. I have too much on my hands already. I'm sorry.

Loveless: I'll give it some thought, it really is a good idea.

Shiningvoice53: I guess I could have him come along.

OdeClock: Yusei will see Akiza again, she'll even join the fight. Lulu and Rin do see Yusei as their father-figure, and don't worry, Yusei will use the new cards. Yusei will learn about the two worlds' similarities some point.

Chapter 8: Rematch between teacher and student.

In Paradise City's street, Yusei and Yuya were walking besides each other, deep in a conversation. An hour has passed since Yuya's victory against the Sledgehammer, but not too much has happened since then. After Yuya had managed to escape from the paparazzi, he had received different congratulations from his friends. Skip had cried waterfalls of tears on his jacket from joy. Gong gave him a bear hug with a happy face. Rin had given him a friendly hug. Yoko, Zuzu and Lulu all gave him big hugs to congratulate him with Lulu's one being the biggest.

Finally, Yusei had given him a proud look, before requesting that they had a private conversation. Although a bit confused, Yuya granted his mentor's request and they both set out to have their private conversation, while everyone else headed back to the You Show Duel School for Skip to install the new ARC System. So here they were, walking down the street with no destination in mind.

"Okay Yusei, I'll bite. What do you wanna talk about?" The teenage boy questioned his mentor, walking by his right side as they walked down the street next to the road as cars passed by them. The Shooting Star of Satellite turned to look at his pupil with slightly narrowed eyes. "It's about your Pendulum Summoning. I wanted to know how you managed to create it". Yusei answered his pupil, getting Yuya to look down with an uncertain look as he still had no idea how to explain it.

"Well… I… I…" The teenage boy said in a nervous voice as he stopped walking, something that Yusei noticed as he stopped walking as well. The Shooting Star of Satellite turned around to fully face his student and placed his right hand on Yuya's left shoulder, getting the tomato hair style boy to look up at him. "It's okay, there's no need to be nervous. No matter what you say, I'll believe you. Just tell me how you created this new Summoning". Yusei told his pupil with a comforting voice, giving the teenage boy a reassuring look. Yuya spent a moment or two looking at his master with wide eyes, before he grew a smile, knowing that he can trust his mentor.

"It happened on my second last turn. I just remembered my Dad teaching me an important lesson, then when I drew my cards through Pot of Greed, Stargazer Magician, Timegazer Magician and two more of my cards then transformed before my eyes. I don't know how, but I think my pendant had something to do with it". Yuya told his mentor what happened and how he created Pendulum Summoning, tilting his head down to look at his pendant as he had noticed his it glowing when his cards transformed.

Yusei grew a curious look at hearing his pupil's words, before placing his right hand on his chin. "So that's what happened, huh? Somehow your pendant transformed your cards". The Signer summed up, before looking at the pendant around his pupil's neck. "By the way, how did you get your pendant?" Yusei questioned in a curios voice, having always wondered where Yuya got his pendant from.

Yuya grew a smile on his face, before taking hold of the string around his neck and held the pendant up in front of him. "Dad got it for me. It's one of the many things left that I have to remember him by". The tomato hair style boy answered his mentor with a gentle voice upon thinking about his father. "Ever since I got it, my pendant has felt like an important part of me, a part of me that I never want to lose". Yuya added with his eyes focused on his pendant as it let out a small sparkle.

Yusei grew an intrigued look on his face as he stared at his pupil, seeing the care in Yuya's eyes for the pendant. 'Yuya really cares about his pendant, but where did it come from? And what sort of power does it hold? Is it anything like my mark, or is it something that Z-ARC created?' The Signer thought to himself in fascination, wondering what secrets his pupil's pendant carried within. He continued to stare down at his pupil, who continued to stare at his pendant with a smile, before he thought of a simple, but excellent idea that could sort out his concerns for his pupil. One: To figure out the secrets of Pendulum Summoning. Two: Free Yuya of the darkness within and three: discover the pendant's mystery power.

The Shooting Star of Satellite placed his left hand on Yuya's right shoulder, getting the teenage boy to look up at him. "Yuya, what do you think about having another Duel with me?" Yusei questioned his pupil with a smile, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise at the proposal. True, they had practice Duels for Yusei to help Yuya come up with new strategies, but the only serious one that they ever had was their first one.

The young teenage boy soon grew an excited grin on his face, before he gave the older male a nod, giving him his answer. Yusei grew a small smile on his face as he lifted his left hand from Yuya's shoulder. "Okay then, let's head to the warehouse district, and then we'll have our Duel". The Signer told his student, which Yuya nodded to him with an understanding look. Despite his time here in the past month, Yusei still preferred normal Duels over Action Duels as he didn't like to rely on luck.

The pair of master and student began resuming their walking, this time heading to the warehouse district, a common place that Yusei takes Yuya to. However, the two were soon stopped by a familiar voice that they knew. "Yusei! Yuya!" A female voice called out to the two males, getting Yusei to look over his left shoulder, while Yuya looked over his right shoulder to see who it was calling them.

Running up to the pair of master and student was the same teenage girl from behind in the stadium, the one that was staring at Yusei with a longingly look. The girl's hair was flowing side to side as she ran towards the two, before she stopped in front of them. Yuya grew a smile on his face upon seeing the teenage girl, while Yusei grew a small one. "Hey Serenity!" Yuya greeted the female and revealing her name to the world, which the brown/red haired girl gave him a small smile.

This girl's name was Serenity Wheeler, a 16-year-old girl and a recent friend that the You Show Duel School made. Not to mention, the girl that had a crush on Yusei. Out of everyone, Yusei was the first one that met the teenage girl just 3 weeks ago, right when he was on his way home from shopping for groceries.

(Flashback, 3 weeks ago)

The afternoon sky was bathed in a beautiful orange colour that rained down on Paradise City. In the middle of a walkway in Paradise City was Yusei, wearing his casual outfit, walking down the street and carrying two bags of groceries, heading towards a parking lot where he parked his Duel Runner. A week has passed since he defeated the Sledgehammer and got a new house to live in with Lulu and Rin. He had become quite a celebrity in the city as lots of kids looked to him as their hero, which he had experience with from the kids back in his world.

Today had been a nice calming day for Satellite's Shooting Star. Although, today his student, Yuya came to him with an interesting idea of changing his Duel Disk's appearance to match his Odd-Eyes Dragon. Yusei had to admit that the idea fascinated him as he had never seen anyone modify their Duel Disk to look like their ace monster, so he decided to grant Yuya's request. He had just finished shopping for the tools and parts that he needed for the little project, along with some groceries, and was now heading back to his house and the girls.

As Yusei continued to walk and pass by passing through civilians, he looked down at the right bag that he was carrying. 'I'll admit, I'm looking forward to seeing what Yuya's modified Duel Disk will look like after I'm done with it. Maybe I should think about doing the same for my Duel Disk, or for the girls, I'll have to ask'. The 19-year-old male thought to himself, then looked back up in front. Just then, laughter from the right, catching Satellite Shooting Star's attention. He looked over to the right to see an unwanted sight.

On the other side of the street, there were two 17-year-old males cornering someone. One of them had orange shaggy hair and tan skin, while the other had green spiky hair and pale skin. They both wore black punk style high collar jackets, white shirts, black jeans and white boots. Yusei couldn't see their eyes, but he was able to see earlobes of dark blue sunglasses on them.

Yusei then looked at the person that they were concerning and saw that it was a teenage girl. She looked to be 16-years-old, 2 years older than Lulu and Rin. She had auburn hair with long bangs framing the sides of her face and a cowlick of four small hairs that covered the middle part of her forehead. She had greenish brown eyes. She was wearing light blue denim shorts and long white socks with blue sneakers. Her top is a sleeveless pink and white shirt with a high collar that is worn on top of a short-sleeved yellow shirt.

The guy with the orange hair stepped closer to the teenage girl, who stepped back with her back now pressing against a building. "Hey Serenity, how's it going with your brother out of town?" The girl asked the girl with his voice filled with lust, getting the female to grow an extremely nervous expression. "W-W-well..." She began, only to be interrupted by the guy with the green hair. "I for one, am glad he's gone. It must be a relief to have that annoyance not hovering around you anymore, right?" The male said with a smug grin, getting the girl to frown at what he said about her brother. "M-my brother isn't an annoyance!" She snapped at the two males, instantly whipping the smirks off their faces as they glared at her.

"What was that?! That stupid "dog" always got in our way whenever we wanted to talk to you, so yeah, he was an annoyance! A big one!" The orange haired male snapped, getting the auburn haired girl to flinch. Upon seeing this, Yusei narrowed his eyes as he had a good idea where this was going. He walked over to a walkway that had traffic lights and pressed the button. As luck would have it, the traffic lights turned red instantly and the traffic stopped, giving a clear path. Seeing his chance, Yusei began walking down the walkway to the other side of the street, keeping his eyes on the two guys and girl.

The orange haired male grabbed hold of Serenity's right wrist with his left hand in a rough manner, getting her to flinch at the tight grip. "With that "dog" gone, we're free to hang out. You do want to hang out with us, right Serenity?" The male asked, but it sounded more like a statement as he didn't really care about what she wanted. Serenity opened her eyes and weakly glared up at him. "Actually, I don't want to". She answered, before she brought up her left hand and attempted to free her right hand from his grip, but failed as he refused to let go.

"Really? Well, that's too bad, because I want to. With Joey out of the way, there's nothing stopping us from hanging out". The orange haired male said with a lust filled look, getting Serenity to widen her eyes in dread. However, that was when a familiar right hand grabbed hold of the orange haired male's left wrist, getting him, the green haired male and Serenity turn to see Yusei was the one responsible, holding both of his bags with his left hand. "Except me". Satellite's Shooting Star stated as he applied more pressure in his grip, getting the orange haired boy to cry out in pain as he was forced to let go of Serenity.

The auburn haired girl looked at her savior in awe as he let go of the punk styled male, who stepped back and grabbed hold of his left wrist and let out a hiss of pain. "What the heck!?" He questioned in surprise, while the green haired male glared at Yusei, who returned the favor. Satellite's Shooting Star then held his shopping bags out to Serenity, getting the 16-year-old female to blink in confusion. "Would you mind holding onto these for a moment? Something tells me that I might need both of my hands". Yusei asked as he turned to look at Serenity, allowing her to get a good look at his face and eyes.

Almost instantly, Serenity's face flushed upon seeing the handsome male. She shyly took Yusei's bags into her hands, before she tilted her head down and stared down as she found it too hard to keep eye contact with Yusei for some reason. The Shooting Star of Satellite turned to look back at the green haired male and saw that the orange haired boy was standing besides his friend with both of them glaring at Yusei. "Hey punk? Who are you, and what right do you have to stick your noise where it doesn't belong?" The green haired male questioned without a hint of respect in his voice, only anger for what Yusei did to his friend.

The Stardust Duelist narrowed his eyes at them in his famous glare, getting the two males to flinch and take a step back. "It hardly matters if the matter involves me, or not. Seeing people like you, who treat others without any regard for their wellbeing or feelings, really make me sick". Yusei replied with an icy cold voice, much to the two boys' slight fear as they took another step back. Yusei then turned to look at Serenity and soften his expression so that he wouldn't startle her. "Hey, Serenity, right?" He asked the teenage girl, getting Serenity to tilt her head up to look at him, before she flushed again upon making eye contact.

"They said something about your brother, and about a dog. What are they talking about and what's their names?" Yusei questioned her with a calm voice to ease her nerves from the tension in the air. It worked as Serenity's expression soften a little, before she opened her mouth to speak. "Their names are Oliver and Mason. They're in my high school, and they're playboys that date any girls that catch their interest, then dump them. My brother, Joey Wheeler, kept them from making a move on me, but he recently left the city to train himself to become a better Duelist". Serenity explained to Satellite's Shooting Star, getting him to raise an eyebrow at her.

'Joey Wheeler? Isn't that the name of one of Yugi's friends? Maybe it's just a coincidence they have the same names. Still, maybe I should talk to the Crimson Dragon about it'. Yusei thought to himself, before he returned his attention over to Serenity as she continued to explain. "My brother is often called a "dog" because of an embarrassing incident that he never told me about. Now that Joey isn't here, Oliver and Mason believe that they're safe to make a move on me now". The 16-year-old female finished explaining to the 19-year-old male, getting him to lightly smile at her in thanks, making Serenity's blush grow a little brighter.

Yusei then turned to look back at the two younger males, now named Oliver and Mason, and narrowed his eyes at them. "An old friend of mine would have called you two "spineless" if he was here, and to be honest, I feel the same way towards you two. But what I hate the most about you two after hearing Serenity is how you two play with the hearts of girls, then just leave them with broken hearts. Once someone enters a relationship with someone, they have to be loyal, honest and treat each other with respect. If you can't do that, you're not worth the time". Satellite's Shooting Star scolded Oliver and Mason, getting the two of them to lose their fear and replace it with anger towards Yusei.

"You got some nerve to say that to us, pal!" The orange haired boy, named Oliver, spat in rage as he started cracking his fists, getting ready to attack Yusei. "What he said. Just who do you think you are?!" The green haired male, named Mason, demanded as he cracked his neck, having the same idea as his fellow playboy. Serenity lightly gasped upon seeing the two males getting ready for a fight, before she hid behind Yusei, who wasn't the least bit intimidated by them. "The name is Yusei. Yusei Fudo". Yusei revealed his name, getting mixed reactions from everyone.

Oliver and Mason widened their eyes, before they cried out in horror, while Serenity looked at Yusei in awe. "Y-Yusei Fudo? As in THE Yusei Fudo? The guy who defeated the Sledgehammer without even losing a single Life Point?" Oliver questioned in horror as he and Mason began taking multiple steps back from the man before them. "Oh, screw this! I'm not fighting this guy!" Mason exclaimed, both before he and Oliver turned tail and ran in the other direction as if their lives depended on it. Yusei raised an eyebrow upon seeing them run at learning who he is, before he gave a shrug.

He turned around to look at Serenity, only to be slightly surprised upon seeing her staring at him with a look of amazement. "Is there something wrong?" Yusei asked in a slightly confused voice, getting Serenity to snap out of her trace and blush in embarrassment upon realizing she was staring at him. "S-Sorry". Serenity apologized nervously, before she held up Yusei's bags to him, which he took with his right hand. Serenity folded her hands in front of her lap and looked down nervously. "Y-You're really...Yusei Fudo?" She asked as she was a bit overwhelmed, getting Yusei to raise an eyebrow at her.

"Yes, I am?" Satellite's Shooting Star answered in a confused voice, getting Serenity to grow a wide smile and clap her hands together in delight. "Wow, I can't believe it's really you. You're the Duelist said to be the strongest one here in Paradise City after single-handedly defeating the Sledgehammer! You've greatly inspired all the Duelists in Paradise City, even my brother!" The teenage girl exclaimed in amazement, getting Yusei to sigh in slight relief. He then gave Serenity a small smile. "I'm glad to hear that I inspired your brother to become a better Duelist. I look forward to seeing how far he gets". Satellite's Shooting Star said to Serenity as he walked passed her, getting the auburn haired girl to widen her eyes, before she spun around to look at his retreating form.

"Wait!" She called out in an urgent voice, getting Yusei to stop in his tracks. He looked over his right shoulder to look at her questionably, getting Serenity nervous as she twiddled her fingers and look down at the ground. "W...will I see you again?" Serenity asked in a nervous tone, getting Yusei to slightly widen his eyes, before his face changed back to an expressionless look. "That'll depend on you. I've started work as a mechanic that can fix anything, and I'm also a teacher at the You Show Duel School. You're welcome to come check it out". The Stardust Duelist answered as he continued on his way back towards his Duel Runner to head home.

Serenity watched Yusei walk across the walkway to the other side of the street with her face still slightly red. She placed her right hand over her left side of her chest, right where her heart is. "Yusei Fudo..." Serenity whispered to herself, almost breathless from meeting and being saved the Paradise City's new rising star.

(Flashback over)

The next day after that afternoon, Serenity came to the You Show Duel School, where she saw Yusei again and met everyone else. She became close friends with the gang very quickly, and even comes to You Show very often. Skip attempted to recruit her into the Duel School, but Serenity declined as she wasn't really a Duelist, much to his comic sadness. Still, everyone welcomed her with open arms. She ha became great friends with the girls of the Duel School as she, Lulu, Rin and Allie would go shopping for clothes together often. In fact, her new outfit that she was now wearing was one that she brought in one of her shopping get togethers with her female friends. It was also quickly revealed that she had a crush on Yusei, much to his discomfort, and everyone else's amusement.

Serenity slightly leaned down towards Yuya and gave him a proud smile with her eyes closed in joy. "Yuya, congratulations. I was watching your Duel against the Sledgehammer, and it was really amazing". The teenage girl praised the tomato hair style boy, getting him to lightly laugh as he scratched the back of his head with his right hand. "Thanks. But I gotta admit that the Sledgehammer was a lot more than what I bargained for". Yuya replied to Serenity, getting her to nod a little as she straightened her posture. She then turned to look at Yusei, before her cheeks turned a little red.

"H-Hi Yusei". Serenity greeted her crush, getting Satellite's Shooting Star to grow a small uneasy smile at her. "Hey Serenity". Yusei greeted back with an uncomfortable voice, getting Yuya to look at his teacher with a slightly concerned look. Yusei was aware of Serenity's feelings for him that bloomed on the day that they met, but he didn't return them. His heart already belonged to Akiza, and there was no chance that would ever change. Not to mention, it was a bit uncomfortable for him as he was 19-year-olds, turning 20 soon, while Serenity was still 16-year-old. He was an adult, and she was still just a developing teenager, so the whole thing didn't feel right to him. Yusei had told Yuya that he didn't return Serenity's feelings, which he understood after hearing his reasons. Still, Yusei saw Serenity as a friend and had every intention of cherishing her like how he cherished the rest of his friends.

"Where are you guys going? Are you heading back to You Show to celebrate Yuya's victory?" Serenity asked with a curious voice, folding her hands behind her back. Yusei shook his head at her. "Not yet. We decided to have a Duel against each other at the harbor, and then we'll head back to You Show". Satellite's Shooting Star answered the teenage girl, getting her to grow a curious expression, before she smiled. "If it's alright with you guys, can I come along?" Serenity asked with a soft tone, getting Yusei to raise an eyebrow at her. Yuya, on the other hand, saw no problem with it as he walked up in front of his teacher to look at Serenity.

"Sure, no problem. Maybe watching our Duel will finally get you into Dueling". The Odd-Eyes Duelist replied to the teenage girl, getting her to smile down at him in appreciation. "Thank you Yuya". Serenity thanked the 14-year-old male, before proceeding to look towards Yusei, silently asking for his approval. Yusei gave a nod to her, telling Serenity that she could come watch, before he turned around and began walking away towards the harbor. Yuya turned around and followed after his teacher with Serenity hot on his tail.

Yuya slowed down his pace and walked besides Yusei on his right, while Serenity ran up towards Yusei's left side, where she wrapped her arms around his arm and hugged it. The two males looked at the young female, who avoided their gazes by looking down at the ground for them to avoid seeing her flushed expression. Yusei gave a defeated sigh, before he looked forward, while Yuya gave his teacher a look of pity. The three continued on towards the harbor, where Yusei and Yuya will have their second duel.

"AT THE EDGE OF THE DARKNESS, TEARING APART THE SILENCE."

The sky was dark as ocean waves were rolling off each other, before suddenly three Ancient Gear Reactor Dragons appeared and cut through the water, flying towards Duel Academy. They flew over the court of Duel Academy, where students were lined up, looking up at Aster Phoenix, who was looking down at them from a bench with the Tyler Sisters behind him.

"WHO IS THE ONE WAKING THE EARTH FROM ITS SLEEP?!"

In his office, Jean-Michel Roget was sitting at his desk, toying around with his chess pieces with a smug look on his face as he watched Sector Security arrest a man on a screen.

"BEFORE YOUR EYES ARE WICKED SOULS."

In his throne room, Leo Akaba stood up from his throne with Yuri and Zane Truesdale at his sides. Leo thrust out his right hand to the side at the army of Obelisk Force in front of him, which the army cheered for him and for Duel Academy. Leo turned around to face the Arc-V reactor behind him, where he saw an image of Ray briefly appear.

"THERE'S NOWHERE TO RUN, FACE THEM STRAIGHT ON!"

In the Standard Dimension, standing in front of the Leo Corporation tower was Yuya, Celina, Declan and Zuzu, all with narrowed eyes. They activated their Duel Disks as they summoned their ace monsters, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Saffira, Queen of Dragons, Lunalight Cat Dancer and D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga behind them, before all four monsters fired blasts at the camera.

"SOMEONE TELLS ME TO ERASE MY "WEAKNESS" OR "FEAR"."

In the Synchro Dimension on a Turbo Duel lane, Yugo and Rin rode their separate Duel Runners besides each other, before Arc-v Jack Atlast joined them on his Duel Runner. They all summoned their ace monsters; Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Windwitch – Winter Bell and Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend. The three monsters flew above their Duelists as they continued riding their Duel Runners.

"WE RECONSTRUCT OUR MINDS."

In the Xyz Dimension, Yuto appeared with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon behind him, before they moved aside to reveal Lulu with her ace, Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale. The two moved aside to reveal Shay, who had his arms crossed with his scarf and sunglasses covering his face. His ace, Raidraptor – Rise Falcon appeared behind him, creating a gale that blew Shay's glasses off, revealing his hate filled eyes.

"TIGHTLY HOLD ONTO THAT HAND."

In the middle of a desert field road, Yusei was driving his Duel Runner, before he suddenly spun it around twice, and then stopped in a sideways position. Yusei gave off one of his famous glares at the camera as he held up his right arm, showing his mark of the Crimson Dragon glowing a bright colour.

"BELIEVE IN THE BONDS BETWEEN EACH OTHER."

In a multi-colored background, Yuya, Celina, Zuzu, Declan appeared in different stances stance with their ace monsters behind them. In a green background Yugo, Rin and Jack appeared, riding their Duel Runners with their ace monsters flying above them. In a black background Yuto, Lulu and Shay appeared in combat stances with their ace monsters behind them. The camera changed back to show Yusei hold up a white card with his right hand as a portal appeared behind him. Yusei's ace, Stardust Dragon flew out of the portal and into the air, before giving off a powerful roar.

"AND FIGHT!"

In a gold void, Ray clapped her hands together as if she was praying. Suddenly, the camera passed through her to reveal the Crimson Dragon flying up above, staring right into the camera with a sharp gaze.

"TRANSFORM!"

"SO ALL I CAN DO."

In the Standard Dimension in Paradise City street, Yuri smirked evilly as he activated his Duel Disk before he summon Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. Yuya stood a few feet away from his fusion counterpart with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon besides him, before the two dragons fired breath attacks at each other, creating a bright light.

"AND ALL YOU CAN DO."

The bright light died down to reveal the Xyz Dimension, where Yuto was battling against Zane with the two running across the streets. Both Duelists had their Duel Disks activated as they summoned their ace monsters. Zane summoned Cyber End Dragon, while Yuto summoned Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. Cyber End Dragon fired three separate blasts from its three heads at Dark Rebellion, which the dragon charged with lightning surging through its fangs. Dark Rebellion made contact with Cyber End Dragon's blast attacks, creating a bright light.

"FLAP YOUR WINGS! TRANSFORM."

The light disappeared to reveal the Synchro Dimension, where Sergey and Jack were Turbo Dueling aboard their Duel Runners. Sergey laughed crazily as Earthbound Servant Geo Grasha appeared above him with a dark aura. Jack narrowed his eyes as Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend appeared above him, before the dragon was surrounded in a crimson sphere. The sphere dispersed, creating a bright light.

"CHANGE THAT PIERCING RAGE IN YOUR HEART INTO POWER."

The light cleared to reveal the Fusion Dimension. In Duel Academy's courtyard, both Shay and Lulu were Dueling the Tyler Sisters. Grace and Gloria had Amazoness Pet Liger and Amazoness Empress on their field, while Shay and Lulu had Raidraptor – Rise Falcon and Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale on their field. The Obsidian twins held up their right arms as their ace monsters were covered in bright lights.

In Leo Akaba's throne room, the Professor of Duel Academy was dueling his son. Leo had Master Spirit Tech Force - Pendulum Ruler on his field, while Declan had D/D/D Flame King Genghis, Gust King Alexander, Wave King Caesar and Doom King Armageddon on his field. The five monsters fired beams at each other, creating a burst of power.

"TRANSFORM!"

"NOW ALL I CAN DO."

The screen changed to show outside with the sky red as blood, before Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, Supreme King Dark Rebellion, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing and Supreme King Starving Venom all appeared out of nowhere and flew into a formation.

"AND ALL YOU CAN DO."

Darkness suddenly appeared behind the four dragons, before it was blown away to reveal Supreme King Z-ARC glaring at the camera with rage filled eyes.

"SHINE ON! TRANSFORM!"

A black skin Z-arc appeared on the dragon's head, laughing as the dragon unleashed a stream attack from its mouth. Standing at Duel Academy's courtyard facing the direction of Supreme King Z-Arc was Shay, Jack, Declan, Leo, Aster, Zane, Yuya, Yuri, Yugo, Yuto, Rin, Lulu, Zuzu, Celina and the Tyler Sisters with their Duel Disks activated. Supreme King Z-ARC's stream attack struck the ground, creating an explosion that blew them all away. Dust covered everything from view for a second before it cleared to reveal Yusei with his back to the camera, who was holding back the stream attack with his right hand, while his mark of the Crimson Dragon was glowing brightly.

"ON TO THE NEXT STAGE IN EVOLUTION."

The camera zoomed in and spun around to show Satellite's Shooting Star's face as Yusei gritted his teeth, before he thrust his right arm out to the side, dispersing the attack. The camera changed to show the sky, where the Crimson Dragon appeared with a roar, before it transformed into flames that shot out towards the camera.

"TOUCH AND GO!"

The flames transferred over to Yusei, forming armour that looked like the Crimson Dragon over the Signer with even wings and a tail attached. Yusei narrowed his eyes as he spread his wings and took flight towards Supreme King Z-ARC, creating a bright light when he made contact.

When the light cleared, it revealed Yusei, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Rin, Celina, Lulu, Zuzu, Declan, Aster and Shay all back in the Standard Dimension in the stadium. All the Duelists were standing in different styles with Yugo jumping in the air with his right hand thrust out to the sky, while Lulu, Rin and Celina were all around Yusei, who had a soft smile on his face.

Yusei, Yuya and Serenity had just arrived in Paradise City harbor and were now walking towards the edge that overlooked the water. They stopped right at the edge and looked across the ocean. "Well, we're here". Yuya stated with his arms on his hips, before he turned right to look at Yusei and saw that Serenity was still cuddling his left arm. "I'm ready to duel whenever you are Yusei". The Odd-Eyes Duelist told his teacher, getting Yusei to look down at him and nod. Satellite's Shooting Star then turned to look at Serenity, who was now laying her head against his arm.

Yusei, feeling a bit uncomfortable, gentle nudged her with his right hand, getting Serenity to open her eyes and look up at her crush. "We've arrived at the harbor, so mind letting go of my arm?" The Synchro Duelist gently requested, getting Serenity to widen her eyes, before she released Yusei's hand and stepped back. She folded her hands in front of her lap and bowed her head. "I'm sorry". She apologized, getting Yusei to smile down at her. "It's alright. Just step back and watch". The 19-year-old male replied to her, getting Serenity to lift her head up and saw Yusei's smile devoid of any anger, or annoyance.

Serenity gave a small smile, before she took a few steps away from the edge of the harbor. Yusei then turned to look at his student and already saw Yuya standing 10 feet away with his Duel Disk on. Yusei gave a chuckle as he held up his left arm, before his Duel Disk activated with the blade materializing. "You're pretty eager to get started, you know that?" Satellite's Shooting Star stated as his deck shuffled for a moment, before stopping. Yuya gave a grin as his Odd-Eyes themed Duel Disk activated with the blade materializing as well. "What can I say? I'm pretty excited to get this started". The Odd-Eyes Duelist replied to his teacher as his deck shuffled for a moment, before stopping.

Yusei gave another chuckle, before both he and Yuya took up positions, right when a wave of water struck the edge of the harbor, kicking up the water in a dramatic style to begin the duel between master and apprentice. "Game on!" The two males shouted out as they drew their starting hand of five cards with their right hands and held them up, starting the duel.

"I'll take the first move!" Yuya declared as he took ahold of his starting hand with his left hand, before looking down at the cards. He instantly grew a smirk upon seeing his cards, before he took 2 of them and held them out with his right hand. "I'll start this off by setting the Pendulum Scale with Scale 1 Performapal Ladyange and Scale 8 Performapal Gentrude! I'm taking control of this Duel starting now!" The Dueltainer called out as he swiped his right hand out to the far right side, before he placed his cards on the edges of his Duel Disk, causing the blade to gleam in a rainbow colour for a moment. The words 'Pendulum' then appeared across the blade in rainbow colours.

Two blue pillars of light appeared besides Yuya on his left and right, before Performapal Gentrude appeared on the left and Performapal Ladyange appeared on the right one. The Fairy and Fiend-Type monsters rose up high in the blue pillars of light, before they stopped with the numbers "1" appearing under Ladyange and "8" underneath Gentrude in golden colour. A giant version of Yuya's pendant then appeared out of nowhere in between the two monsters and swung sideways. "With these two monsters, I'm now allowed to Summon monsters that are Level 2 all the way to 7 at the same time!" Yuya informed his teacher, getting Yusei to narrow his eyes at him, before he looked up at the two Pendulum Monsters.

'Pendulum on the first turn, and those cards' Pendulum Scales are the same as Timegazer Magician and Stargazer Magician. Looks like more of Yuya's cards were transformed in his duel against the Sledgehammer'. Satellite's Shooting Star thought to himself, before he looked back at his student and saw Yuya holding his right hand out. "But before I get to Pendulum Summoning, there's just a few things I need to take care of. I activate Performapal Gentrude's Pendulum Effect!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out as Gentrude opened his book that he was holding, then began reading through it.

"Once a turn; if I control no monsters or if all monsters I control are Pendulum Monsters and if I have Ladyange in my other Pendulum Zone, I can add an "Odd-Eyes" card from my deck to my hand!" Yuya explained his monster's effect as Gentrude held up his right hand with his index finger out, only with a glowing orb at the tip of his finger. The Pendulum Monster swiped his hand out towards his Duelist, firing the golden orb towards his deck. The orb struck and caused the deck to glow for a moment, before the glowing died down. Yuya's deck started shuffling for a moment, before stopping with a single card slotted out, which the Odd-Eyes Duelist grabbed hold of with his right hand's index and middle fingers.

Yuya held the card up, revealing it to be his Odd-Eyes Dragon. "I select my Odd-Eyes Dragon". He declared his choice, before he added it to his hand and took hold of another card. "And next, I'll Summon Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist cried out as he placed the card onto his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared, before Performapal Skullcrobat Joker came out of it and gave a humble bow.

"I activate his special ability! When this card is Normal Summoned, I can add a "Performapal", "Magician" or "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum Monster from my deck to my hand!" Yuya explained his monster's effect as his deck started shuffling again, before stopping with a single card slotted out. Yuya took hold of it with his right hand and held it up, revealing the card to be his new dragon, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. "And I'll add my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to my hand!" He declared his choice once more, before he added the card into his hand, and then thrust his right hand out.

The giant version of his pendant started to swing in close to his Pendulum Monsters, drawing a circle behind them. "Swing far, pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, to swing into action!" The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created a portal from the circle that it was drawing, before 2 orange lights shot out of it. "Now put your hands together and welcome... our first main attraction! One of the wonders of the dragon world, the spectacular Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yuya called out as the first orange light cleared to reveal Odd-Eyes Dragon, who let out a powerful howl. "And the second main attraction! Turn up the heat, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist continued as the second light cleared to reveal Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, who let out a powerful roar from besides Odd-Eyes Dragon.

Yusei narrowed his eyes upon seeing this move. 'Not bad. He managed to Summon both Odd-Eyes Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon'. The Signer thought to himself as he grew a small smile, impressed with his student. "Next up, I'll overlay my two dragons!" Yuya cried out, thrusting his right hand into the air as both of his dragons turned into darkish purple bright lights that ascended into the air. They danced around one another as a black portal appeared on the ground in front of Yuya. "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out as the two darkish purple lights descended down into the Xyz portal and entered it, causing a chilling blizzard to erupt from within it.

"I Xyz Summon! Rank 7! Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon!" Yuya cried out to the heavens as a new monster jumped out of the portal and landed on the ground, kicking up dust from the impact. It was a bipedal dinosaur-like dragon with small arms and a purple body covered in light-blue ice-like armor. Its left eye glowed a bright blue, while its right eye glowed a bright red. On the right side of the dragon's head was a wide flat grey horn with a serrated edge. The beast had had four finely cut blades of ice-like armor on its back arranged in the shape of a X, and embedded in the dragon's chest beneath its armor was a large blue orb. Finally, two light blue overlay units were circling around the dragon's body. Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon unleashed a powerful howl, summoning and releasing a sub-zero blizzard across the field.

Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon ATK Points: 2800/ Rank: 7/ Overlay units: 2.

Serenity wrapped her arms around herself and closed her eyes as she shivered from the freezing temperature that Absolute Dragon released. Yusei, on the other hand, wasn't affected the least bit by the cold and instead looked up at Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon. 'Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon... one of the cards that I gave Yuya from my briefcase, and the monster that Lulu taught him how to use. He's really grown into a skilled Duelist to be able to use the Extra Deck now'. Satellite's Shooting Star said in his mind as his small smile grew slightly bigger, before he looked back at his student.

Yuya had a confident look on his face as he took one of his last cards in his hand and slotted it into his Duel Disk. "I'll finish up with this! You're up!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist declared his turn over as a face-down card appeared besides him.

Yuya looked towards his teacher and couldn't help, but ask him what he thought of his move. "What do you think Yusei? Was my starting move a good one?" The Odd-Eyes Duelist asked his master, getting Yusei to nod towards him. "I'd say so myself. Not only were you able to call out a powerful monster, you were even able to set some defense and still kept a card in your hand. Well done". Satellite's Shooting Star praised his student, getting Yuya to smile happily at his praise. "But now its my turn to show off what I can do". Yusei stated with a confident look as he placed his right hand's fingers on the top card of his deck.

"I draw!" Yusei called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion by swiping his right hand out to the side with the card in between his index and middle fingers. He looked through the corner of his right eye and flipped the card over to see what it was, before he smirked upon seeing what it was. He then swiped his right hand out in front of him, showing the card to his opponent. "I'll play this! The Spell card: Ready! Set! Duel!" He called out, before he slotted the card into his Duel Disk with a larger version of it appearing in front of him.

"Here's how this card works. When it is activated and I control no other cards, I can add a "Synchron" monster from my deck to my hand!" Yusei explained his Spell's effect as a card slotted out of his deck, which he grabbed hold of with his right hand's index and middle fingers. He held the card up in front of himself, taking a moment to look at it, before looking back at his student. "And I choose a new addition to my deck. The Tuner monster, Stardust Synchron!" Satellite's Shooting Star declared his choice as he flipped the card over, revealing it to be a monster card with the image showing a small machine that looked incredibly like Stardust Dragon.

Yusei then added Stardust Synchron's card to his hand, before he took another card from his six cards and held it out. "Since you're the only one that controls monsters, I can Special Summon my Junk Forward!" The Synchro Duelist explained as he slammed the card onto his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared next to Yusei, before Junk Forward shot out of it and took a defensive stance.

"Next, I'll Summon my Stardust Synchron!" Yusei continued as a portal appeared on the ground in front of him, before bright start erupted out of it. The bright star dispersed to reveal Yusei's new monster, Stardust Synchron, who gave out a small cry upon being Summoned.

Stardust Synchron ATK Points: 1500/ Level: 4.

"Now, Stardust Synchron's special ability activates upon being Summoned. It allows me to add a Spell/Trap card from my deck as long as it lists "Stardust Dragon" in its text!" Yusei explained his new Tuner Monster's special ability as his deck started shuffling for a few moments, before it stopped and a single card slotted out. Yusei took hold of it with his thumb, index and middle fingers and held it out, revealing it to be a Spell card. "I select the Spell card, Arrival in Light, and activate it!" The Stardust Duelist called out, before he slotted the card into his Duel Disk.

A large version of the Spell card appeared besides Yusei's first Continuous Spell card, before it began releasing a bright light. "When this card is activated; I can place a Level 1 Dragon monster from either my hand or deck, to the top of my deck". Yusei explained his Spell's effect as a card slotted out of his deck, which he picked up and placed it at the top of his cards. Yusei then swiped his right hand out. "Now, Level 4 Stardust Synchron gives Level 3 Junk Forward a tune up!" The Signer declared as Stardust Synchron cried out as his whole body started shining like a star, before he transformed into 4 green rings that flew into the air in a straight line.

Junk Forward leaped into the air and into the four green rings, turning orange transparent as he passed through them. Three white stars appeared within the line of green rings and lined up. A bright white beam then appeared out of nowhere and consumed the rings and lights. "Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! I Synchro Summon! Level 7! Stardust Pegasus!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out to the heavens as something slowly emerged from the beam of light and took flight.

It was a white skin Pegasus monster that was large enough for someone to ride upon. It had light blue horsehair that reached the end of its neck, two long angel wings on its side. It had light purple hooves and a pure white tail. Finally, the Pegasus had pure yellow eyes like that of Stardust Dragon's eyes. Stardust Pegasus released a fierce cry as it spread its wings out fully, causing a few of its feathers to fall.

"And now, Arrival of Light's effect activates! When a Synchro Monster is Special Summoned, I'm given the option of activating either two effects of this card. And I chose the effect that allows me to draw another card!" Yusei explained his Spell's effect as Stardust Pegasus flew down and landed on the ground on its hooves. Satellite's Shooting Star placed his right hand's fingers on the top card of his deck, before he drew it in a dramatic fashion, just like when he drew his card earlier.

He brought the card in front of his face to see what it was, before he gave a smirk at what he saw. 'Stardust Phoenix'. Yusei thought to himself as he looked at another one of his new cards. It was a monster card with the image showing a large pure white phoenix dragon with silver feathers and pure yellow eyes.

Yusei then added the card to his hand, before he picked up another one of his cards and held it up. He stared at the card for a moment or two, before he looked over towards Yuya, who was watching his mentor with his complete attention. "Yuya, this next move will uncover a little secret that I've been keeping from you and the others. I only ask for you to save your questions for after the duel". The Synchro Duelist told his apprentice, getting Yuya to tilt his head in confusion. 'What is Yusei talking about?' The Odd-Eyes Duelist questioned in his mind, having no idea what his mentor was talking about.

Yusei looked at the card for a moment, before he held his right hand out to the side. "I activate the Spell card, High-Speed Fusion!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out as he slotted the card into his Duel Disk. A Spell card materialized on the field with the image showing Stardust Dragon and Junk Warrior flying in New Domino City's stadium besides one another with the spirit form of Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste behind them.

(High-Speed Fusion/ Type: Spell/ Effect: If you control only a Synchro Monster, and your opponent controls 2 or more monsters on their field; you can perform a Fusion Summon using monsters in your Extra Deck to Summon a Fusion Monster that lists a Synchro Monster as Material.)

Yuya and Serenity widened their eyes in surprise upon seeing the card, and what it was called. "Hold on, that's a Fusion card!?" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out in surprise that his teacher actually had a Fusion card all this time. Yusei nodded to his student, before he held his right hand out as High-Speed Fusion's card began gleaming. "That's right! I can only activate this card if I only control a Synchro Monster and you control 2 or more monsters! Now, I can perform a Fusion Summon using Monsters from my Extra Deck to Fusion Summon a monster that requires a Synchro Monster as material!" Yusei explained his Spell card's effect, getting Yuya to raise an eyebrow as he never heard of a Fusion Monster that required a Synchro Monster as material.

Yusei's Extra Deck zone of his Duel Disk opened, before two cards slotted out of it. Satellite's Shooting Star grabbed the two cards with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before he held them up to reveal that they were Ascension Sky Dragon and Jet Warrior. "Through High-Speed Fusion's effect, I'll fuse Ascension Sky Dragon and Jet Warrior!" Yusei declared as he discarded the two cards to the Graveyard zone of his Duel Disk. Two bright flashes appeared behind Yusei, before both Ascension Sky Dragon and Jet Warrior appeared from them.

"Ascension Sky Dragon! Jet Warrior! Combine your powers to form a powerful new force!" Yusei chanted as Ascension Sky Dragon gained a white aura around himself, while Jet Warrior grew a black one. Sparks of energy radiated off of them, before they gleamed brightly as they merged together. "I Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste!" The Synchro Duelist cried out to the heavens as the bright lights cleared to reveal his Fusion Monster, Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste. The Fusion Monster released a powerful roar as he reared his right hand to the left, then swiped it out to the right with his javelin in hand.

Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste ATK Points: 3200/ Level: 10.

Yuya and Serenity stared up at the Fusion Monster before them in awe and disbelief. They had both been taught that Fusion Monsters had all kinds of different requirements to be Summoned, but they've never heard of a Fusion Monster that required a Synchro Monster as material. Yusei had a small smirk at seeing his student's priceless expression, before he looked down at the 4 cards in his hand. He picked one up, before slotting it into his Duel Disk. "I'll now equip Stardust Pegasus with the Equip Spell, Fighting Spirit!" Yusei called out as Fighting Spirit's card appeared besides Arrival of Light's card, before Stardust Pegasus gained an orange aura around itself. "This card gives the equipped monster 300 extra ATK Points for every monster on your field. Since there's 2, that's 600 more points". The Synchro Duelist explained his Spell's effect as Stardust Pegasus powered up.

Stardust Pegasus ATK Points: 2300 + 600 = 2900.

"Time to battle! Stardust Pegasus, attack Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!" Yusei commanded, holding his right hand out towards the Spellcaster monster. Stardust Pegasus cried out as it took flight, before flapping its wings strongly and creating a powerful gust of wind. "Don't count your chickens until they hatch! I play Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon's special ability!" Yuya called out as Absolute Dragon ate one of its overlay units.

Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon Overlay units: 2 - 1 = 1.

"When an attack is declared, my dragon can use one of its Overlay Units to negate the attack!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained his monster's effect as a light blue aura appeared around Stardust Pegasus with the Beast-Type monster slowly ceasing to flap its wings. "And here's my favorite part! This effect also allows me to Special Summon an "Odd-Eyes" monster from my hand or Graveyard! And I'll revive the monster I just detached from Absolute Dragon, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya added as a black portal appeared on the ground, before Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon slowly floated out of it.

"However, since you just Summoned another monster on your field, my Stardust Pegasus gains another 300 points!" Yusei reminded his student as his Synchro Monster powered up again.

Stardust Pegasus ATK Points: 2900 + 300 = 3200.

"That won't be a problem for me since it can't attack anymore". Yuya said with a smile, getting Yusei to smirk at him. "There's where you're wrong Yuya. Stardust Pegasus has the power to attack twice per Battle Phase!" Satellite's Shooting Star revealed to his student, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise. "It can what?!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist questioned in surprise, before Yusei held his right hand out. "Stardust Pegasus, attack Skullcrobat Joker again!" The Synchro Duelist commanded once more, making the Synchro Monster let out a cry as it started flapping its wings strongly again, creating a strong gust of wind.

Yuya gritted his teeth, before he looked at the card in his hand, then towards Performapal Ladyange. He looked towards his mentor, before holding his right hand out. "I'll discard the Performapal Silver Claw in my hand, and now your Pegasus loses 1000 ATK Points!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist exclaimed as he discarded the card, before a white aura appeared around Stardust Pegasus, draining its energy.

"That effect won't save your monster, or your Life Points! Go, Stardust Pegasus!" Yusei commanded once more, making his Synchro Monster cry out once more as it flapped its wings harder, blowing Skullcrobat Joker away into the air, before he shattered. (2200 - 1800 = 400)

Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste's eyes flashed, before he began spinning his javelin above his head. "Well then, it's a good thing I've got this! The Trap, Cross Damage!" Yuya called out, swiping his right hand out as his face-down card flipped itself over, before it began gleaming. Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste then tossed its javelin at Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, striking right at the chest and causing an explosion upon impact. (3200 - 2500 = 700)

Stardust Pegasus ATK Points: 1900 - 300 = 1600.

"Thanks to my Trap when your monster battles, any Battle Damage that I take is also inflicted on you! Since I just lost 700 points, you take the same amount!" Yuya explained his Trap card's effect, before Cross Damage's card fired a white beam towards Yusei, who just stared up at it. "At this moment, my Dragon Knight's special ability activates". Yusei calmly stated as Drago-Equiste got in front of him and held his hands out, releasing a sort of soundwave at the approaching beam and stopping it. "So long as this card is in play, any Effect Damage I take is instead inflicted on you!" Satellite's Shooting Star told his opponent, getting Yuya to gasp as the white beam shot out towards him and struck the Odd-Eyes Duelist in the stomach, making him take a step back.

Yuya Life Points: 2900 - 700 = 2200.

"I've been too hard on you, so I'll give you a break by placing 2 face-down cards!" Yusei declared his turn over as he slotted in 2 of his cards into his Duel Disk, before 2 face-down cards appeared besides him.

The Odd-Eyes Duelist said to his mentor with an impressed tone, getting Yusei to smile back at him. "Don't count yourself out just yet. You still got a chance to turn this around". Yusei told his student, getting the 14-year-old male to smirk back at him. "That's what I intend to do. My turn!" Yuya called out as he placed his right hand's fingers on the top card of his deck.

"Say "hello" to my Pot of Greed Spell card!" The Dueltainer exclaimed as the green pot appeared in front of him. "With this Spell, I draw 2 more cards". Yuya explained his Spell's effect as the green pot shattered, before he drew 2 more cards with his right hand and looked at them. He placed both cards in his hand, before holding up his right hand as the giant version of his pendant started to swing in close to his Pendulum Monsters, drawing a circle behind them.

"Swing far, pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, to swing into action!" The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created a portal from the circle that it was drawing, before 2 lights shot out of it. "Help me out, Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!" The teenage boy began as the first light cleared to reveal Skullcrobat Joker, who gave a humble bow. "Turn up the heat once more, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya called out as the second light cleared to reveal his ace monster, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, once more, which the dragon let out a fierce cry.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

Performapal Skullcrobat Joker ATK Points: 1800/ Level: 4.

'What is he up to? None of his monsters are a match for mine, plus Stardust Pegasus now has 3200 ATK Points, just like my Dragon Knight'. Yusei said in his mind, wondering what his student was planning. Yuya then took one of his two cards in hand, and then held it out, revealing it to be the Spell card, Spiral Flame Strike. "Now I play the Spell card, Spiral Flame Strike!" The teenage boy called out as he slotted the card into his Duel Disk, before a larger copy of the card appeared on his field. "If I control an "Odd-Eyes" card like my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, this card destroys 1 card on the field. And I'll go with your Dragon Knight". Yuya explained his Spell's effect as he pointed towards Yusei's Fusion Monster with his right hand.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon cried out, before it jumped high into the sky. The orbs on the Dragon-Type monster's spikes began glowing with energy. "Go Spiral Flame Strike!" Yuya called out as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's eyes flashed for a moment, before unleashing a dark red flaming stream attack at Dragon Knight-Draco Equiste. The stream attack struck and exploded upon making contact, destroying the Fusion Monster and making Yusei shield his eyes with his right forearm. Once the shockwaves died down, Yusei lowered his right arm and looked towards his opponent as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon crash landed on the ground.

Yuya then held up his last card, revealing it to be a Spell card called "Pendulum Storm". "Next, I'll play Pendulum Storm". The teenage boy said as he slotted the card into his Duel Disk. A larger version of the card appeared, before a light green tornado appeared around it and created a powerful gust of wind. "This is a bit tricky, so listen carefully. This Spell can destroy a Spell or Trap card on your field, but there's a cost. I need to destroy as many Pendulum cards in both player's Pendulum Zones for this coast, so say bye to my Performapal Gentrude and Ladyange". Yuya explained his Spell's effect as the tornado absorbed both Gentrude and Ladyange into it and destroyed them.

The giant version of Yuya's pendant and the blue pillars all disappeared, before Yuya pointed towards Yusei's Fighting Spirit Spell card. "I chose your Fighting Spirit Equip Spell card!" He declared his choice as the tornado shot out towards Fighting Spirit's card and struck it, before both it and the card shattered into pieces. "And with your Spell card gone, your flying horse loses the power up boost that it got". Yuya told his teacher as Stardust Pegasus powered down.

Stardust Pegasus ATK Points: 3200 - 900 = 2300.

Yuya then held up both of Gentrude and Ladyange's cards with his right hand. "Since both Gentrude and Lady Ange were Pendulum cards, they're sent to the Extra Deck". Yuya told his mentor as his Extra Deck zone of his Duel Disk opened, before he placed the two card in it, causing it to close. "At this moment, Performapal Gentrude's ability activates! When this card is destroyed, I can select a Performapal Pendulum Monster in my deck and have it replace him in the Pendulum Zone". The teenage boy explained as he took his deck out of his Duel Disk and began searching through it.

After a moment, he picked up a single card with his right hand, before he flipped it over to show that it was a Pendulum Monster called "Performapal Monkeyboard". "I chose the Scale 1 Performapal Monkeyboard!" Yuya declared his choice as he placed the card on the right edge of his Duel Disk's blade. A single blue pillar appeared with Performapal Monkeyboard rising up from within it, before stopping with the number "1" underneath it.

Yuya then placed his deck back into his Duel Disk's deck zone, which shuffled for a few moments, before stopping. Yuya then swiped his left arm out towards Stardust Pegasus. "Odd-Eyes, attack Stardust Pegasus!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist commanded his ace monster, getting the Pendulum Monster to cry out as it leaped into the air once more. "Go, Spiral Flame Strike!" He cried out as his ace monster unleashed another stream attack towards Stardust Pegasus, who looked up at the approaching attack. "My dragon's special ability activates! When this card battles a Level 5 or higher monster, you take double the Battle Damage!" Yuya told his opponent as the stream attack collided and destroyed Stardust Pegasus. (2500 - 2300 = 200 X 2 = 400)

Yusei Life Points: 4000 - 400 = 3600.

"Hope you're ready for a second attack, because Absolute Dragon is coming at ya next!" Yuya exclaimed as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon crashed into the ground again, while Absolute Dragon leaped into the air. "I don't think so! I reveal my Trap card, Miracle's Wake!" Yusei called out as he thrust his right hand out, before one of his face-down cards flipped up and released a white veil. "If a Monster I control was destroyed in battle, this Trap revives it! So say hello again to Stardust Pegasus!" Satellite's Shooting Star explained his Trap's effect as Stardust Pegasus flew out of the white veil and into the skies.

Stardust Pegasus DEF Points: 2000/ Level: 7.

"At this moment, Arrival in Light's effect activates! Since a Synchro Monster was Special Summoned, I draw a card!" Yusei minded his student as he drew another card from his deck, taking a moment to look at it, before added it to his hand. Yuya scowled, before thrusting his right hand out. "Fine, I'll attack your horse again! Go, Spiral Frozen Strike!" Yuya called out as his Xyz Monster unleashed an attack similar to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's Spiral Flame Strike, only it was pure icy blue and was a blizzard spiral. The attack struck and destroyed Stardust Pegasus, creating a small explosion that forced Yusei to cover his eyes. "Now, Skullcrobat Joker attacks you directly!" The Odd-Eyes duelist commanded his Pendulum Monster, getting Skullcrobat Joker to grin as he charged and kicked Yusei in the stomach with his right foot, making him widen his eyes from the force of the impact.

Yusei Life Points: 3600 - 1800 = 1800.

"Now, I'll go to my Main Phase 2! I now activate Performapal Mokeyboard's Pendulum Effect!" The teenage boy called out as Monkeyboard began playing the board in its mouth. "Once a turn, Monkeyboard allows me to select a Level 4 or lower "Performapal" monster in my deck and add it to my hand". Yuya explained his Pendulum Monster's effect as his deck started shuffling for a moment, before suddenly stopping with a single card slotted out. Yuya grabbed hold of the card with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before he held it up. "I'll add Performapal Rain Goat to my hand, and call it a turn!" He declared his turn over, before placing the card in his hand.

Serenity had a worried look on her face as she stared at her crush with her hands clapped together, as if she was praying. 'Yusei's in trouble. He has no monsters on his field, Yuya has 3 with two of them having more than 2000 ATK Points'. The teenage girl thought in concern for her crush, before she widened her eyes upon seeing the confident smirk on Yusei's face. 'He's...smirking?' Serenity said in her mind in surprise, realizing that Yusei wasn't backed into a corner just yet.

Yusei added the card into his hand, before he thrust his right hand out. "I activate the effect of Ready! Set! Duel! During the Standby Phase; this card gains a Signal counter". Satellite's Shooting Star told his opponent as the Continuous Spell card began gleaming lightly.

He then held up Stardust Phoenix's card with his right hand's index and middle fingers. "Next, I'll Summon my Stardust Phoenix in ATK Mode!" Yuya exclaimed as he placed the card on his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared besides him, before the phoenix dragon flew out of it and into the air, giving out a fierce cry.

Stardust Phoenix ATK Points: 100/ Level: 1.

"But he won't be sticking around for long. By releasing him..." Yusei began as Stardust Phoenix burst into white sparkles that started coming together, forming a different shape. "...I can Special Summon a Stardust monster from my Graveyard! Welcome back Stardust Pegasus!" He finished explaining as the sparkles completely formed together into Stardust Pegasus's shape, before transforming into the Synchro Monster itself.

Stardust Pegasus ATK Points: 2300/ Level: 7.

"And once again, Arrival of Light's effect activates and allows me to draw once more!" Yusei reminded his opponent as he drew one more card, took a moment to look at it, then placed it in his hand. "Now I activate another effect of Stardust Pegasus! Once a turn, Pegasus allows me to Special Summon a Tuner Monster from either my hand, or Graveyard!" The Synchro Duelist explained his Synchro Monster's effect as Stardust Pegasus spread its wings out fully, before releasing a powerful bright flash of light that forced Yuya to cover his eyes. "Come on back, Stardust Synchron!" Yusei called out as the bright flash of light died down to reveal Stardust Synchron besides Stardust Pegasus.

Stardust Synchron ATK Points: 1500/ Level: 4.

"Stardust Synchron's ability activates! Once again, I can add a Spell/ Trap card that lists Stardust Dragon in its text to my hand!" Yusei reminded his opponent as his deck shuffled for a moment, before stopping with a single card slotted out. Yusei took hold of the card and held it out, revealing it to be a Spell card called "Majestic Absorption". "I chose this one, the Spell Majestic Absorption!" The Synchro Duelist declared his choice, before adding the card to his hand. "Now I'll play the Double Summon Spell card". Yusei said as he took another card and slotted it into his Duel Disk. A larger version of the card appeared besides Arrival of Light's card, before it began gleaming.

"With this card's power, I can Normal Summon again". He explained his Spell's effect as he took a card from his hand and placed it on his Duel Disk's blade. "I Summon Tuning Supporter!" Yusei called out as Tuning Supporter appeared with a flash of light.

Tuning Supporter ATK Points: 100/ Level: 1.

"Now, Level 4 Stardust Synchron tunes with Level 1 Tuning Supporter!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, swiping his right hand out. Tuning Supporter took off into the air, while Stardust Synchron cried out as his whole body started shining like a star, before he transformed into 4 green rings that flew into the air in a straight line. The green rings circled around Tuning Supporter, scanning the Machine-Type Monster with its body turning orange transparent. Turning Supporter's body then dispersed, leaving a single white bright star in the line of green rings. A bright beam then appeared and absorbed the light and rings. "Let's rev it up, Catapult Warrior!" Yusei called out to the heavens as one of his new Synchro Monsters flew out of the beam, before slamming into the ground and took a defensive stance.

Catapult Warrior DEF Points: 1500/ Level: 5.

"Now, I activate Arrival of Light's effect and use its second effect! This one allows me to Special Summon a Tuner Monster from my hand! Like my Steam Synchron!" Yusei explained as he held up Steam Synchron's card with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before swiping it onto his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared besides him, before Steam Synchron came out of it and puffed out some steam.

Steam Synchron DEF Points: 800/ Level 3.

"Now Tuning Supporter's effect! Since he was used as Synchro Material, I draw another card". Yusei told his student as he drew another card and added it to his hand without looking at it. "I now activate Catapult Warrior's special ability!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out as he thrust his right hand into the air. Catapult Warrior cried out as he held up his fists, before the gem on his chest began glowing red. "First up, Catapult Warrior's effect releases one of my monsters, like Stardust Pegasus..." He began to explain as Stardust Pegasus dispersed into white sparkles, before they were absorbed into Catapult Warrior's chest gem.

"...And then, you take damage equal to the released monster's ATK Points! Let him have it!" Yusei finished explaining as Catapult Warrior fired a powerful white beam from its chest gem at Yuya. The Odd-Eyes Duelist kept a calm look on his face, before he held up Performapal Rain Goat's card. "Whenever I would take effect damage, I can discard my Performapal Rain Goat to negate that damage". Yuya explained his card's effect, before he discarded the card to his Graveyard Zone. A barrier appeared around Yuya, just before the white beam struck it. The barrier remained strong as the beam soon died down, before it disappeared.

Yusei gave an impressed smile, before he looked down at the 2 cards in his hand for a moment, then tilted his head back up. "I activate Stardust Pegasus' ability from the Graveyard!" The former Satellite began as his Graveyard Zone of his Duel Disk glowed, before the cards of Ascension Sky Dragon and Stardust Pegasus came out. Yusei picked up the two cards and held up with his right hand's fingers. "By returning a Synchro Monster like Ascension Sky Dragon to the Extra Deck..." He continued as his Extra Deck opened and he placed Ascension Sky Dragon's card in it. "Then I can Special Summon Stardust Pegasus from the Graveyard!" Yusei concluded, placing the Synchro Monster's card on his Duel Disk's blade. A bright white flash appeared in the air, before it cleared to reveal Stardust Pegasus, who let out a cry.

Stardust Pegasus ATK Points: 2300/ Level: 7.

"However, when Stardust Pegasus leaves the field, it is banished". Satellite's Shooting Star added, before he pointed towards Performapal Skullcrobat Joker with his right hand. "Let's worry about that later! Stardust Pegasus, attack Skullcrobat Joker!" Yusei commanded his Synchro Monster, getting the Synchro Monster to cry out as it began flying down towards Performapal Skullcrobat Joker. "Hold it right there! I play Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon's special ability!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist exclaimed, thrusting his left hand out as Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon ate its last overlay unit.

Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon Overlay unit: 1 - 1 = 0.

"First, your attack is negated..." Yuya began as an icy blue aura appeared around Stardust Pegasus and drained its power, making the Synchro Monster stop in mid-air. "...And then I can Special Summon an Odd-Eyes Monster from my hand, or Graveyard! So come on back, Odd-Eyes Dragon!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist concluded as a black portal appeared in front of him, before Odd-Eyes Dragon slowly rose up from within it.

Odd-Eyes Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

"You may get a monster back, but my Pegasus can still attack again! Take another shot at him!" Yusei commanded as he thrust his right fist out towards Skullcrobat Joker. Stardust Pegasus cried out as it flew down and headbutted the Pendulum Monster, getting Skullcrobat Joker to explode and Yuya to wince. (2300 - 1800 = 500)

Yuya Life Points: 2200 - 500 = 1700.

Stardust Pegasus then flew back towards Yusei's side of the field and landed in front of him. "That's it with this turn. Your move". Yusei declared his turn over, having no other move to make.

"Once a turn, Monkeyboard allows me to select a Level 4 or lower "Performapal" monster in my deck and add it to my hand". Yuya explained his Pendulum Monster's effect as his deck started shuffling for a moment, before suddenly stopping with a single card slotted out. Yuya grabbed hold of the card with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before he held it up.

"I choose the Level 1 Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn!" Yuya declared his choice, before he added it to his hand. Yusei narrowed his eyes, before he held his right hand into the air. "At this moment, I activate Stardust Synchron's special ability! During my opponent's Main Phase, I can now Synchro Summon!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise. "But it's my turn!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out in surprise as Stardust Pegasus spread his wings and took flight, while Steam Synchron transformed into 3 greens rings that chased after the Synchro Monster.

"Heaven! Fate! Principle of all phenomena! Ride the spinning wheel of heaven and manifest here! My Duel Dragon! Break your 5,000 years of silence and descend with the light! Synchro Summon!" Yusei chanted as the 3 rings circled around Stardust Pegasus and scanned him with the Synchro Monster turning orange transparent. The Beast-Type's body then dispersed, revealing 7 bright stars that lined up within the rings, before a bright beam appeared and absorbed them all. "Take flight! Ascension Sky Dragon!" He called out to the heavens as Ascension Sky Dragon flew out of the bright beam and took flight into the sky, before releasing a fierce cry.

"Why aren't its ATK Points determined?" Yuya questioned in surprise, getting Yusei to smirk at him as he held up his left hand. "That's because of its ability. For every card in my hand, Ascension Sky Dragons gains 1000 ATK Points. Since I've got 2, that's 2000 points for him". Satellite's Shooting Star explained for his student as a white aura appeared around Ascension Sky Dragon, powering him up.

"But they won't stay for long as thanks to my Arrival in Light Spell, I get to draw another card!" Yusei reminded his opponent as he drew another card from his deck. He took a moment to look at it, before adding it to his hand as Ascension Sky Dragon powered up.

Yuya called out as the Spell card began gleaming, before he sent it to the Graveyard zone of his Duel Disk. "If I have three face-up or more Pendulum Monsters in my Extra Deck, this card allows me to drew 3 cards!" He explained his Spell card's effect, getting Yusei to narrow his eyes. 'He's got Performapal Skullcrobat Joker, Ladyange and Gentrude in his Extra Deck, so he's got enough'. Yusei thought to himself as Yuya drew 3 more cards from his deck with his right hand and held them up.

"The only downside is that for the rest of the turn, I can't add any more cards from my deck to the hand". Yuya informed his mentor as he picked up one of the cards and flipped it over to show that it was Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn. "Now, I'll set the Pendulum Scale with Scale 8 Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn! I'm taking control of this Duel starting now!" Yuya called out as he held his right hand out to the side, before he swiped it over his Duel Disk and placed Odd-Eyes Unicorn's card on the left edge of the blade.

The words "Pendulum" appeared in rainbow colours, causing the Duel Disk's blade to sparkle for a moment. A second blue pillar appeared with Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn rising up from within it, before the Pendulum Monster stopped with the number "8" appearing underneath it. A giant version of Yuya's pendant appeared between the two monsters, and swung sideways. "With these two monsters, I'm now allowed to Summon monsters that are Level 2 all the way to 7 at the same time!" Yuya informed his teacher as the giant version of his pendant started to swing in close to his Pendulum Monsters, drawing a circle behind them.

The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created a portal from the circle that it was drawing, before a single light shot out of it. "You're up Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!" "I can Special Summon this card from my hand by reducing a Level 7 or higher Odd-Eyes' Level by 3. And I select my Odd-Eyes Dragon!" He explained his monster's effect, before placing the card on the remaining Monster Zone of his Duel Disk. A portal appeared besides him, before Nobledragon Magician appeared from within it.

The three rings circled around the air-born dragon, scanning him with Odd-Eyes Dragon's body turning orange transparent. The dragon's body dispersed and was replaced by 4 bright stars that lined up in the rings, before a bright beam appeared and consumed them both. "I Synchro Summon! Level 7! Odd-Eyes Meteor Burst Dragon!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out as a fiery red dragon that looked incredibly similar to Odd-Eyes appeared. The new monster gave out a cry as it landed in between Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon.

Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

"Time to brawl! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Ascension Sky Dragon!" Yuya commanded his ace monster, making Odd-Eyes cry out as it leaped into the air, getting Yusei to look up at it. "At this moment, I activate Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn's Pendulum Effect!" The teenage boy called out, getting Yusei to shift his attention over to his student. "When an "Odd-Eyes" monster I control declares an attack, I can target that monster and it gains the ATK Points of a face-up Performapal Monster I control". The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained his monster's Pendulum Effect, getting Yusei to slightly widen his eyes.

"I only have 1 face-up Performapal Monster, so the choice is obvious. Skullcrobat Joker, lend your power to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya called out as a purple aura appeared around Skullcrobat Joker, before it transferred over to the air-born Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, powering him up.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ATK Points: 2500 + 1800 = 4300.

"With that many ATK Points and its special ability, I won't survive this attack. I have something called "an insurance policy" right here!" Yusei called out as he held his right hand down towards his face-down card, which flipped itself up, revealing to be Synchro Barrier. "First, I have to sacrifice a Synchro Monster like Ascension Sky Dragon..." He began to explain as Ascension Sky Dragon shattered into white particles. "Then for the rest of the turn, I don't take any damage". The Synchro Duelist concluded as the white particles formed a barrier around Yusei.

Yuya snapped his right hand's fingers, before he pointed towards Catapult Warrior with his index finger. "Fine, I'll attack your other monster! Spiral Flame Strike!" He commanded his ace monster, which Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon cried out as he released its stream attack at Catapult Warrior, who stared up at the approaching attack without fear. The stream attack struck and destroyed the Synchro Monster, but the barrier around Yusei protected him from the shock waves. "I'll end my turn with a face-down card!" Yuya declared as he took a card and placed it into his Duel Disk, before face-down card appeared on the field.

Yusei Life Points: 1800/ Number of cards in hand: 3.

"I draw!" Yusei called out as he drew his card in a dramatic fashion by swiping his right hand out, before holding it in front of him to see what it was. He then held his right hand out towards the card form of his first Continuous Spell, keeping a hold of his card. "At this moment, another Signal counter is place on my Ready! Set! Duel!" Yusei reminded his opponent as his Spell card gleamed completely.

Ready! Set! Duel! counters: 1 + 1 = 2.

"Now I play it's final effect! I can remove 2 Signal counters from my field and send this card to the Graveyard; then draw 2 cards!" Yusei explained his Continuous Spell's final effect as its card form dispersed into yellow sparkles, before the Synchro Duelist drew 2 more cards from his deck. He looked at the two new editions, then he added them and the card that he drew earlier into his hand. "The only downside is that I have to discard a card to the Graveyard". He added as he sent a card, which was Drill Synchron, to the Graveyard zone of his Duel Disk.

Yusei looked at his hand of 5 cards, before he picked up one of them and held it out. "I play the Spell card, Spell Shattering Arrow!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, before he slotted the card into his Duel Disk with a larger version of the card appearing on the field. "What does that card do?" Yuya questioned in confusion as he's never seen his teacher use that card before. Yusei gave his student a small smirk, before holding his right hand out towards the back of his card. "This card destroys all Spell cards on your field and inflict 500 points of damage for each one". The Synchro Duelist explained his Spell card's effect, getting Yuya to raise an eyebrow.

"I hate to tell you this, but I don't have any Spell cards". The Odd-Eyes Duelist said in confusion, before a single arrow shot out of Spell Shattering Arrow's card, heading towards Performapal Monkeyboard and pierced through it, causing the Pendulum Monster to shatter. The arrow redirected itself and struck Odd-Eyes Unicorn from behind, destroying it as well. The shockwaves of the two monsters destructions hit Yuya head on and forced him take a step back.

Yuya Life Points: 1700 - 1000 = 700.

"What the!? Why were my Pendulum cards destroyed?" Yuya questioned in surprise, while Yusei just gave a smirk. "Just as I suspected, your Pendulum cards are also treated as Spell cards". Satellite's Shooting Star said with a confident voice, getting Yuya and Serenity to look at him in confusion. "What do you mean by that? How are my Pendulum cards treated as Spell cards?" Yuya questioned his teacher in confusion, wondering why he thought that. "I had my suspicions when I first saw saw your cards, and when the Sledgehammer destroyed them in your duel against him. I added Spell Shattering Arrow to my deck in order see if my suspicions were corrected, and looks like they were". The adult male explained to his student on what he meant, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in realization, before looking down at Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's card.

'I get it, that's why Pendulum cards have these appearances. They're like hybrids of monsters and Spells that can act as either one, meaning they have the same weakness as the two types'. The tomato haired boy said in his mind, learning another important detail of his Pendulum cards. "Anyway, with your Pendulum cards out of the way, I'm going for the attack! With this!" Yusei exclaimed as he picked one of his four cards and held it out. "I activate the Spell card, Necroid Synchro!" Satellite's Shooting Star exclaimed, before he slotted the card into his Duel Disk.

(Play Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's! Unleash Force)

Necroid Synchro's card appeared on the field besides Arrival of Light's card, before it began gleaming. "With this Spell, by banishing a Tuner and monsters from my Graveyard; I'm allowed to Synchro Summon now!" Satellite's Shooting Star explained his Spell card's effect, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise. "But your monsters are in the Graveyard!" The teenage boy stated as Steam Synchron and Catapult Warrior's cards slotted out of Yusei's Graveyard Zone, before he picked them up and held them out for Yuya to see. "I banish the Level 5 Catapult Warrior and Level 3 Steam Synchron!" Yusei declared as he placed the two cards away in his jacket's pocket, before both Catapult Warrior and Steam Synchron appeared on the field.

Catapult Warrior flew into the air, while Steam Synchron transformed into 3 green rings that chased after the Synchro Monster. "Out of two will come one, and out of one will come great cosmic might!" Yusei chanted as the rings circled around Catapult Warrior and scanned him with the Synchro Monster turning orange transparent. Catapult Warrior's body then dispersed, revealing 5 bright lights that lined up within the rings, before a bright beam appeared and consumed them all. "Take flight, Stardust Dragon!" He exclaimed as his ace monster spun out of the bright beam, before spreading his wings out and released a powerful cry.

Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 8.

Yuya slightly gritted his teeth upon seeing his master's ace monster, having never been able to destroy it before in any of their practice duels. "The monster Summoned by Necroid Synchro's effect cannot use its effect, but that won't matter. Thanks to Arrival in Light's effect, I get to draw one more card". Yusei informed his opponent as he drew another card from his deck, while Stardust Dragon flew down above him, staring down at the four opponents in front of him. However, his gaze then focused on his own student, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, who gave an excited growl at facing his master.

'Let's see what your new powers amount to against me'. The Signer Dragon said to his student with a slightly excited voice, getting the Pendulum Monster to grin. 'This won't end the last time we've battled against each other, master'. The Pendulum Monster replied to his mentor, his voice leaking out the joy that he was experiencing at facing his master again. Yusei gave a small grin at seeing the exchange of the two monsters, before he looked down at his hand of 4 cards and picked up a single card. "I activate the Majestic Absorption Spell card!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out as the card began gleaming.

Stardust Dragon roared out as his body gained a glowing aura around itself, much like when he was in his Majestic Star Dragon form. "This card can only activate if I control a "Stardust Dragon", or a monster that lists my dragon in its text and target it. It has three effects that I can use. The first option is allowing my monster to equip one of yours to it. The second is allowing it to direct attack this turn and the last option is whenever it destroys a monster, you take damage equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK". Yusei explained his Spell card's effect to his opponent, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise. "Oh, that's not good". The tomato hair styled boy stated as he knew that with the second and third option, he'll lose the duel.

"I think I'll go with the first option!" Yusei declared, before swiping his right hand out towards Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon and pointed towards it. "And I think I'll equip your Absolute Dragon to Stardust!" He declared his choice, before the Synchro Monster roared out as the glowing aura shot out towards Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon. Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon roared out, before it turned into blue sparkles that flew towards Stardust Dragon and was absorbed into the Synchro Monster. "With this, you won't be able to use your Xyz Monster's ability". The Synchro Duelist said with a small smirk, getting Yuya to narrow his eyes at him. 'He's right. If Absolute Dragon was Xyz Summoned and sent to the Graveyard, I would have been able to Summon a new "Odd-Eyes" monster from my Extra Deck. But with this, that effect won't work anymore'. The Odd-Eyes Duelist thought to himself, taking a moment to look down at his Extra Deck.

"Stardust, ice that Skullcrobat Joker with Cosmic Flare!" Yusei commanded, pointing his right hand's index finger towards Performapal Skullcrobat Joker. Stardust Dragon roared out as he began gathering cosmic energy in his mouth for his signature attack. Yuya slightly gritted his teeth, before he thrust his right hand out towards his face-down card. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell card, Mystik Wok!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out as his face-down card flipped itself up, before Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon dispersed into red sparkles. "By releasing my Meteorburst Dragon, its ATK Points increases my Life Points". He explained his Spell card's effect as the sparkles rained down on him, increasing his Life Points.

Yuya Life Points: 700 + 2500 = 3200.

Stardust Dragon unleashed his Cosmic Flare attack at Skullcrobat Joker, landing a direct hit and causing an explosion. The shockwaves of the attack pushed Yuya back a bit, but he remained standing. (2500 - 1800 = 700)

Yuya Life Points: 3200 - 700 = 2500.

"Not bad. I'll set a face-down card and end my turn". Yusei declared his turn over as he slotted a card into his Duel Disk, before a face-down card appeared on his field.

Yuya Life Points: 2500/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

"I draw!" Yuya called out, drawing his card, before holding it in front of himself. The Odd-Eyes Duelist gave a grin, before holding his right hand out, keeping a hold of his card with his thumb, index and middle fingers. "I release my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon...!" Yuya began as a red circle appeared underneath Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, before a red pillar erupted from within it and covered the Pendulum Monster from view. "...To Advance Summon Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon!" He finished as the red pillar dispersed to reveal the evolved form of Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon. The Dragon-Type monster let out a loud howl upon being Summoned.

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon ATK Points: 3000/ Level: 8.

"Remember his special ability? When this card is Summoned by releasing a Level 5 or higher monster, Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon can destroy one of your monsters and inflict you damage to its ATK Points! And with Stardust Dragon's effect negated, nothing will be able to save him from this!" Yuya called out as Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon began gathering energy in its mouth, before unleashing a blackish red beam at Stardust Dragon. "Nothing except this! The Trap, Synchro Barrier Force!" Yusei called out as he brought up his right fist, before swiping it out to the side as his face-down card flipped itself up.

"When an effect that would destroy is activated, this Trap negates that effect!" Satelite's Shooting Star explained his Trap's effect as a white barrier appeared around Stardust Dragon and deflected the blackish red beam. "Then, you take 500 points of damage for every Synchro Monster I control!" Yusei finished as the white barrier formed into a white beam that shot out and struck Yuya, making him take a step back from the surprise attack.

Yuya Life Points: 2500 - 500 = 2000.

Yuya gave a small chuckle, before he pointed towards Stardust Dragon with his left hand's index finger, while holding his single card with his middle finger and thumb. "That may have saved Stardust from Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon's effect, but not the attack!" Yuya exclaimed as his dragon unleashed another blackish red beam at Stardust Dragon, this time landing a direct hit and causing an explosion. (3000 - 2500 = 500)

Yusei Life Points: 1800 - 500 = 1300.

"I'm on a roll today! Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon's special ability now activates! When this card destroys a monster in battle, I can special Summon a Level 5 or higher monster from my hand or Graveyard! And I choose Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon!" Yuya declared his choice as a pillar of fire appeared besides Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon, before it cleared to reveal the Synchro Monster crouched down in a defensive stance.

Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon DEF Points: 2000/ Level: 7.

"That'll do for this turn. You're up". Yuya declared his turn over, having no other move to make.

Yusei Life Points: 1300/ Number of cards in hand: 2.

"I draw!" Yusei called out as he drew his card by placing his right hand on the top card of his deck, then swiping it out to the side. Yusei brought the card in front of himself to see what it was, before he grew a smile. "Just what I needed". He whispered to himself as he added the card to his hand, before picking up another one. "I Summon Sangan in ATK Mode!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out as he threw the card onto his Duel Disk's blade. A flash of light appeared on the field, before it cleared to reveal Sangan, who gave a little laugh.

Sangan ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 3.

"But he won't be sticking around for long. I activate Stardust Synchron's ability from the Graveyard!" Yusei called out as a golden light erupted out of his Duel Disk's Graveyard zone. "If this card is in my hand or Graveyard, I can release one monster I control and Special Summon this card! I release Sangan!" He explained his monster's effect as Sangan dispersed into white sparkles, before they came together and reformed into Stardust Synchron.

Stardust Synchron ATK Points: 1500/ Level: 4.

"The downside is that when it leaves the field, it is banished. But we'll worry about it later, I activate 3 special abilities!" Yusei declared, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in shock. "Three special abilities!?" The teenage boy exclaimed in surprise, which Yusei nodded to his student. He then picked up a single card from his hand and looked at it, before his face fell as he stared at it. It was a Monster card called Stardust Trail, but its appearance was what really made his heart swelled and swoon.

Stardust Trail looked like an exact copy of Akiza.

There was only a few differences as this monster had white wings, longer hair than the female Signer, horns and a red dragon-like tail with a metal end that were all based off of Stardust Dragon, even her clothes and chest plate were based off of the Synchro Dragon. It was truly a beautiful card that reminded Yusei greatly of the woman he loved back home in his world. His mind thought back to when he first saw this card.

(Flashback)

Yusei was sitting down on a bench in Paradise City park, wearing his normal outfit, searching through his deck. Earlier, he was passing by on his way to Yuya's house to check in on his student, but had decided to take a small break at the park and take a quick look at his deck. He held up one side of his deck with his left hand and was searching through it with his right hand. His deck was looking great with the new editions in it, but there was still room for improvement. He moved on to the next card in his deck, before he stopped dead in his tracks upon what he saw.

The top card of the right side of his deck was a monster called Stardust Trail, and it looked like Akiza. Yusei had wide eyes of shock as he stared down at the card's image, almost in disbelief that she looked like an exact copy of the woman he loved. "But... how is this possible?" The bearer of the Crimson Dragon's head questioned in disbelief, wondering how this card looked like his fellow Signer. Just then, his mark suddenly started glowing brightly, getting Yusei to look down at it in surprise. He opened his mouth to speak, only for the mark to release a bright light that forced Yusei to shut his eyes.

After a moment, Yusei was able to open his eyes, only to widen them to see that he was back in the white void-like world with the Crimson Dragon flying in front of him and was looking directly at him. "You again!" Satellite's Shooting Star exclaimed in surprise, getting the embodiment off the Dragon Star to nod towards him. "Pardon for the sudden interruption, but I thought you'd like the answers concerning your deck's newest addition". The Crimson Dragon said to the Signer, getting Yusei to raise an eyebrow, before he looked down at his hands and saw that he was still holding his cards. "You mean this card?" Yusei questioned with wide eyes directed at Stardust Trail's card, which the Crimson Dragon gave a short nod towards him.

"That is right. As you have already noticed, she bares a great resemblance to your love interest, Akiza". The dragon said to the young adult, getting Yusei to widen his eyes in shock, before he looked up at the Crimson Dragon. "You knew!?" Yusei exclaimed in shock, getting the embodiment of the Dragon Star to let out an amused chuckle. "Of course I know. The marks I gave you all also allowed me to feel your emotions. Akiza's emotions for you are without equal, and the same could be said for your feelings for her. Besides, it doesn't take powers to see that you two wish to court one another". The Crimson Dragon said, before throwing his head back and let out a laughing fit, much to Yusei's embarrassment as he gritted his teeth.

The Crimson Dragon soon stopped his laughing and looked towards his Signer with a serious expression. "I created Stardust Trail to remind you of your love whenever you use, or look at her. I know that you miss your friends and fellow Signers back in your world, so I did something that would always remind you of them whenever times are tough. I am sorry if this offended you anyway". The Crimson Dragon explained to his Signer as he grew a hint of guilt on his face. Yusei felt a bit touched after hearing the Crimson Dragon's words, before he looked down at Stardust Trail's card. He grew a soft smile on his face as his thought about Akiza and his friends back home.

He looked up at the embodiment of the Dragon Star and gave him a thankful look. "Thanks. I really appreciate it". Yusei thanked the Crimson Dragon, getting the embodiment of the Dragon Star to grow a brighter expression as the hints of guilt were gone. "You are welcome, Yusei. I also think it would be best if you met her yourself". The Crimson Dragon replied to his Signer, getting him confused at what he said. Just then, a bright flash appeared in front of Yusei, getting him to shield his eyes with his left forearm.

The light soon died down, allowing Yusei to lower his left arm, only to widen his eyes upon seeing Stardust Trail flying right in front of him. She had her hands folded in front of lap, her tail was waving around down and her eyes were closed in a peaceful manner. She slowly opened her eyes, revealing them to even be exact copies of Akiza's eyes, and looked at Yusei, before she grew a soft smile at her duelist. "It is an honour to finally meet you, Yusei Fudo". Stardust Trail greeted her duelist with even her own voice sounding exactly like Akiza's, much to Yusei's amazement. He gave a small smile to the Dragon-Type monster. "The honour is all mine". Satellite's Shooting Star replied to the female monster, getting her to softly giggle a little.

"I hope that you will count on me in the near future in the battle against Duel Academy and Leo Akaba". The Dragon-Type monster said to her duelist with a hopefully tone, hoping to be a helpful to Yusei as much as possible. Yusei could hear how hopeful she was from listening to her voice, getting him to look forward to when he could use her. "I will be counting on you. Just do your best to help out and that'll mean a lot to me". Satellite's Shooting Star told the female monster, getting her to smile, before she closed her eyes and then gave a humble bow.

Her body began to sparkle, before it completely gleamed and forced Yusei to cover his eyes again for a moment, before it died down to show that Stardust Trail was gone. Yusei stared at where the female monster was a few moments ago, before he looked down at her card. Once again, he was reminded of his friends back home, getting him to smile lightly. 'Everyone... I... I'll come home someday'. Satellite's Shooting Star thought to himself, swearing to return to his home one day. "Yusei, I'd like to discuss another matter with you before you go". The Crimson Dragon said to his Signer, getting Yusei's attention as he looked up at the flaming dragon in front of him.

"What is it?" The Synchro Duelist questioned the embodiment of the Dragon Star, wondering what it wanted to talk about. "You must have noticed by now that you're the only one with a Duel Runner in the Standard Dimension, meaning you cannot participate in a Turbo Duel, which also means you won't be able to use that Clear Mind technique of yours". The Crimson Dragon said to the young adult, getting Yusei to lightly grit his teeth as he knew that he was right. In fact, he doubted he'll be in a Turbo Duel again until either Rin's Duel Runner is complete, or someone from the Synchro Dimension with their own Duel Runner appears in the Standard Dimension.

"That is why I have made some necessary preparations in order to make up for the lost of your Clear Mind. Look at the next card past Stardust Trail". The flaming dragon told Yusei, getting him to raise an eyebrow, but did what he was told and moved onto the next card. What he saw made Yusei widened his eyes upon seeing a familiar card that he couldn't have under normal conditions. "T-This is..." He whispered in shock at seeing the card, something that the Crimson Dragon gave a nod to. "Indeed it is. I was able to allow that card take a permeant form and added it to your deck when I gave you your new cards. You're free to use that card whenever you wish now, but I suggest not using it in every duel". The Crimson Dragon explained to his Signer, getting Yusei to look up at him. "But I..." He began, only to be cut off by the Crimson Dragon.

"Do not worry. It is alright. But still, you might want to look into a way of using your Clear Mind technique outside of a Turbo Duel. There is no telling what will happen". The embodiment of the Dragon Star told the Synchro Duelist, getting Yusei to look down in thought and could see that the Crimson Dragon was right. Clear Mind was his most powerful move, allowing him to use Shooting Star Dragon, but without it, his options are limited in a duel. It honestly sounded a bit pathetic that he couldn't play his best card without being in a Turbo Duel, but that was the truth of it. He needed to find a way to use Clear Mind without being in a Turbo Duel, cause without it and if he's in a situation that required it, he'd have no chance.

He looked up at the Crimson Dragon with his eyes narrowed dangerously and nodded to him. "You're right. I need to find a way to use what Bruno taught me outside of a Turbo Duel, but it won't be easy finding a way". Yusei stated, making the Crimson Dragon nod in agreement. "Indeed it won't. But knowing you, you'll find a way how to do it". The embodiment of the Dragon Star said, before his whole body let out a bright flash that made Yusei shut his eyes.

When the flash died down, Yusei opened his eyes and saw that he was back in Paradise City Park, sitting down on the same bench from before. The young adult looked down at his hands and saw that he was still holding his cards with both of them. He stared down at the cards for a moment, before he started going through his cards, looking for one specific card. After a few seconds, he found it, his Shooting Star Dragon. Yusei stared down at his Accel Synchro Monster for a few moments, and then he tilted his head down in thought. 'Bruno, I'll find a way to use what you taught outside of a Turbo Duel somehow. I promise I won't let yours, Aporia and Z-one's sacrifices go to waste'. Yusei thought to himself in determination, thinking about his friend and two former enemies that died to create a new future for their world.

'Bruno, Aporia, Z-one, I swear that I won't let your deaths be in vein. I will change our future when I'm done dealing with Leo Akaba and Z-arc'. Yusei thought to himself with narrowed eyes full of determination, before he held Stardust Trail's card out. "When a monster I control is Tributed; I can Special Summon Stardust Trail from my hand or Graveyard!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out as he placed the card in side-ways positions on his Duel Disk's blade. A sparkle of stardust appeared on his field, before it cleared to reveal Stardust Trail. She had her eyes closed peacefully and her open hands held out to the sides. She fell down to the ground and knelt down, before she took a defensive stance.

Stardust Trail DEF Points: 2000/ Level: 4.

Stardust Trail turned her head left to look at Yusei with her closed eyes, before she nodded to him, and then faced forward. "Now Sangan's effect! When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can add a monster with 1500 or less ATK Points from my deck to my hand". Yusei explained his previous monster's effect as he took his deck out of the deck zone and began searching through it. Yusei found the card he wanted and held it up with his right hand, before he flipped it over to show that it was the Tuner Monster, Majestic Dragon.

"I select Majestic Dragon, who has an ATK of 0". Satellite's Shooting Star declared his choice, before he added the card to his hand, then started shuffling the deck. "And last, but not least, Stardust Synchron's special ability! When this card is Summoned, I can add Spell/Trap card that lists "Stardust Dragon" in its text". Yusei explained his Tuner Monster's effect as he searched through his deck once more, before he found the card he wanted. He held the card up and showed it to Yuya, revealing it to be Shooting Star. The young adult male looked at his three remaining cards, before he picked the card that he drew at the beginning of his turn, and held it out. "I play the magic of the Spell card, Shining Rebirth!" Yusei called out, holding the card with his right hand's thumb, index and middle fingers, before Shining Rebirth's card started glowing. "This Spell lets me select a Synchro Monster in my Graveyard, then Synchro Summon it using monsters on my field". He explained his Spell card's effect, getting Yuya to raise an eyebrow, before he sighed. 'At this point, I shouldn't be surprised anymore'. The tomato haired boy thought to himself with a shrug, before he refocused on his teacher.

"Level 4 Stardust Synchron tunes with Level 4 Stardust Trail!" Yusei declared as he swiped his right hand into the air as Stardust Trail flew into the air, while Stardust Synchron cried out with his whole body started shining like a star, before he transformed into 4 green rings that flew into the air in a straight line. "Out of two will come one, and out of one will come great cosmic might!" He chanted as the green lines circled around Stardust Trail, scanning her with the Dragon-Type monster's body turning orange transparent. Her body then dispersed, leaving 4 bright stars that lined up within the rings, before a bright beam appeared and consumed them all. "Take flight, Stardust Dragon!" Satellite's Shooting Star cried out to the heavens as Stardust Dragon flew out of the beam and into the air, letting out a fierce cry.

Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 8.

Stardust Dragon flew down from the air and stopped besides Yusei, staring at Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon dead in the eye, who returned the favor. "Great to have you back old friend, now it's time to get some payback! But before that, there's a few things to take care of. First, both Stardust Trail and Synchron are removed from play". Yusei said as he held up the two cards with his right hand, before placing them away in his jacket's pockets. "However, Stardust Trail leaves a parting gift. When she's used as Synchro Material for a "Warrior", "Synchron" or "Stardust" Synchro Monster, I get a Stardust Token!" He added as a small baby-like Stardust Dragon appeared on his field.

"So cute!" Serenity squealed out, getting both Yusei and Yuya to sweat drop, before they refocused on the duel. "Arrival of Light's effect activates as well. Now I draw a card". The Synchro Duelist reminded his opponent as he drew another card from his deck, before holding it in front of himself. He lightly widened his eyes in surprise, then proceeded to narrow them. He held the card with his right hand's pinky and ring finger, while he grabbed another card with his index and middle fingers. "I'll set two face-downs..." He began as he slotted the two cards into his Duel Disk, causing two face-down cards to appear on his field.

"Then Stardust Dragon, attack Meterorburst Dragon with Cosmic Flare!" Yusei commanded as he pointed towards Meteorburst Dragon. Stardust Dragon cried out as he unleashed his Cosmic Flare attack at Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon, destroying the Synchro Monster. "That's all for this turn. You're up". The Synchro Duelist declared his turn over, having no other move to make.

"Alright, my move!" Yuya called out as he drew his card and swiped his right hand out to the side. "Before that, check this out!" Yusei exclaimed, thrusting his open right hand out as one of his face-down cards flipped itself up, revealing to be Shooting Star. "If I control a "Stardust Dragon", Shooting Star destroys a card that you control. Let's see how you do without your Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon!" Yusei called out as he pointed towards Advance Dragon with his index finger. Shooting Star's card fired a white beam at Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon and landed a direct hit, causing the Dragon-Type monster to shatter into sparkles.

Yuya slightly gritted his teeth, before he held his card in front of himself to see what it was. What he saw made him grow a massive smile, before he held up the card. "Time to swing into action! I Summon the Pendulum Tuner Monster, Star-Eyes Synchron!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out as he swiped the card onto his Duel Disk's blade. A burst of white light appeared in the middle of the field, before it cleared to reveal Yuya's Pendulum Tuner Monster, Star-Eyes Synchron, who let out a loud cry.

Star-Eyes Synchron ATK Points: 500/ Level: 1.

"Oh boy. This is not a good sigh". Yusei remarked with slightly wide eyes, having a good feeling what his student was planning. "You bet it isn't! I activate Star-Eyes Synchron's special ability!" Yuya called out, turning to look at Star-Eyes Synchron as white cosmic energy appeared in its mouth, before the dragon breathed out a cosmic breath attack into the sky. The cosmic breath attack created a pure white portal in the sky, getting Yusei to look up at it in curiosity. "When he's Normal or Special Summoned, I'm allowed to Special Summon 1 face-up "Odd-Eyes" Monster in my Extra Deck". The teenage boy explained his monster's effect, before his Extra Deck opened and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's card slotted out of it.

Yuya picked up his ace monster's card with his right hand's index and middle fingers. "And the monster I'm bringing back is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya called out as he swiped the onto the blade shaped blade. A familiar cry came out of the cosmic portal, before Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon fell down from it and landed on the ground besides Yuya and Star-Eyes Synchron.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 7.

Yusei gave a smile at seeing the two monsters, before he looked down at his student. "I must admit, I'm excited to face your new monster". Satellite's Shooting Star confessed, getting the tomato hair style boy's grin to grow even bigger than before. "Glad to hear that, but you're not gonna be happy when you lose to it. Level 1 Star-Eyes Synchron gives Level 7 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon a tune up!" Yuya declared, thrusting his right fist into the air as Star-Eyes Synchron cried out, before bursting into cosmic energy. The cosmic energy was absorbed into Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, causing his whole body to be covered in energy with only his eyes visible, only they started shining like a star. The cosmic energy covered dragon unleashed a powerful roar as it began transforming with the cosmic energy still covering his form.

"Wondrous and beautiful dragon with dichromatic eyes! With the power given to you by the dragon of stardust, transform into a new dragons with eyes that shine a new future! I Synchro Summon! Star-Eyes Savior Dragon!" Yuya chanted as the cosmic energy covering the dragon unlashed a bright light that forced Yusei and Serenity to slightly cover their eyes from the strong light. After a moment, the bright light died down, allowing them both to lower their right forearms to see Star-Eyes Savior Dragon in the air. The Synchro Pendulum monster's shinning eyes flashed a bit, before he spun around in the air and curled its claws, legs, wings and tail around itself. The Dragon-Type monster spread his claws, legs, wings and tail out, unleashing an earth shattering roar with white glittering stars surrounding him.

Star-Eyes Savior Dragon ATK Points: 3000/ Level: 8.

Yusei tilted his head up to look at the air-born dragon, while Stardust Dragon grew a small grin at seeing his student's new form. They saw the dragon's new form earlier that day, but now, seeing it up close and facing it, the two partners could see that it was a beautiful creature. "I've seen a lot of monsters, but I have to admit that this one holds a candle that none of them do". Yusei told his student, tilting his head back down to look at Yuya.

The Signer's words lifted the teenage boy's spirit greatly. "I'm flattered to hear that, but don't think that'll save ya from Star-Eyes' wrath. I activate my dragon's special ability!" The teenage boy called out with a confident voice. Star-Eyes gave out a roar, before he flew higher into the air. "Go, Stardust Resurrection!" Yuya called out as Star-Eyes spread his wings out fully, before they began gleaming beautiful silver white energy that rained down on the field below.

"Once a turn, Star-Eyes Savior Dragon can Special Summon a monster back from my Graveyard, or a face-up Monster in my Extra Deck back to the field! So, come on back, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya explained his monster's special ability, watching Star-Eyes Savior Dragon as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon appeared out of his wings and fell down to the ground.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon DEF Points: 2000/ Level: 7.

"And now the best part! Star-Eyes Savior Dragon gains ATK Points equal to the Special Summoned monster! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon has 2500 ATK Points, so that'll increase Star-Eyes Savior Dragon's ATK Points all the way to 5500!" Yuya further explained his new monster's special ability as red flames appeared around Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, before they transferred over to Star-Eyes Savior. The red flames changed to silvery white flames as they covered the Synchro Pendulum Monster, causing its eyes to flash as its ATK Points went up.

Star-Eyes Savior Dragon ATK Points: 3000 + 2500 = 5500.

"With this attack, I'll finally win against you". Yuya said with an excited voice at the thought of finally defeating his mentor. Yusei gave a small smile at hearing Yuya's excited tone, but he wasn't ready to lose to him just yet. "As much as I hate to rain on your parade, I'm gonna have to do it. I play the Trap card, Synchro Back!" Yusei called out as his last face-down card flipped itself over. "Listen up. First, I select a Synchro Monster I control..." The young adult began to explain as he held up Stardust Dragon's card with his right hand's thumb, index and middle fingers. "...Then I return it to the Extra Deck and Special Summon it on my Standby Phase". Yusei finished as he placed his ace monster's card away in his Extra Deck.

Stardust Dragon's body flashed bright white, before he disappeared completely from view. Yuya gave a light chuckle, not the least bit surprised by this. "Of all the people I know, you're pretty much the only person I know that would find a way around Savior Dragon's effect". Yuya said with a natural voice, before thrusting his right hand out. "Guess I'll just have to go with option 2! Star-Eyes, attack the Stardust Token!" Yuya commanded, getting Star-Eyes Savior Dragon to let out a fierce cry as the three gems all over its body began flashing their respective colours.

Star-Eyes Pendulum Dragon opened his mouth, revealing black cosmic energy inside his mouth. "Go! Spiral Cosmic Flare!" Yuya cried out as Star-Eyes Savior Dragon unleashed a black flare attack like Stardust's Cosmic Flare attack, only it had white sparkles around it, at the Stardust Token. The flare attack created an explosion upon impact, making Yusei to cover his eyes with his right forearm. The smoke of the explosion cleared away quickly, allowing the Signer to lower his right arm and look towards his student. "I'll end my turn here, and at this moment, Savior Dragon's ATK Points return to normal". The Odd-Eyes Duelist declared his turn over as the silvery white flames around Star-Eyes died down.

Star-Eyes Savior Dragon ATK Points: 5500 - 2500 = 3000.

Yusei Life Points: 1300/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

"I draw!" Yusei called out as he placed his right hand on his deck, before drawing his card by swiping his hand out to the side. "At this moment, Synchro Back's effect activates! Since it's my Standby Phase, Stardust Dragon now returns!" The young adult called out, before a bright portal appeared behind him. Stardust Dragon flew out of the portal and into the air, before releasing a fierce cry with glittering stars falling from his body.

Stardust Dragon ATK Points: 2500/ Level: 8.

"Due to Arrival in Light's effect, I draw another card!" Yusei reminded his apprentice, drawing another card from his deck, before he held the two new cards up to see what they were. He raised an eyebrow upon seeing that they were the Tuning Spell card and Synchron Carrier, but decided that they won't be needed. He added the two cards to his hand, before swiping his right hand out. "I activate Stardust Phoenix's ability from the Graveyard. If I control "Stardust Dragon", I can Special Summon him back from the Graveyard!" He explained as a portal appeared on the ground, before Stardust Phoenix flew out of it and into the air.

Stardust Phoenix ATK Points: 100/ Level: 1.

Yusei then picked up Majestic Dragon's card with his right hand and held it to stare at the card's image. He stared down at the dragon's image for a moment, before swiping his right hand out to the side. 'This for you guys, and everyone back home'. Yusei said in his mind, thinking about his teammates in Team 5D's and all his friends back home. "I Summon the Tuner monster, Majestic Dragon!" Satellite's Shooting Star exclaimed as he placed the card down on his Duel Disk's blade.

A bright rainbow flash appeared, which covered Majestic Dragon from view as it flew into the air. Majestic Dragon then spread its wings out, causing the rainbow flash to disperse completely.

Majestic Dragon ATK Points: 0/ Level: 1.

"Level 1 Majestic Dragon Tunes with Level 1 Stardust Phoenix and Level 8 Stardust Dragon!" Yusei called out to the heavens as Stardust Dragon flew into the air, followed closely by Stardust Phoenix. Majestic Dragon spun around in the air with its wings tucked in, before suddenly stop spinning with its wings spread out, releasing a pink wave of energy. Majestic Dragon's body started wavering, before turning transparent and became much larger with a single star inside of its body. Stardust Dragon roared out as he and Stardust Phoenix were absorbed into Majestic Dragon's body.

Yuya watched with wide eyes of disbelief, which was mirrored by Serenity as they had never witnessed a Synchro Summon like this before. "Well, here's something you don't see every day". The Odd-Eyes Duelist remarked as even Star-Eyes Savior Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum watched in stunned silence. "When the stars shine as one, they point towards a miracle! Let's rev it up!" Yusei chanted his new chant for his second strongest monster, second only to his Shooting Star Dragon. Inside of Majestic Dragon's body, Stardust Dragon's body was orange transparent with eight stars lined up within his body, surrounded by a single green ring. Stardust Phoenix flew past a single green ring, causing his body to turn orange transparent, before disappearing, leaving a single star.

9 stars lined up within Majestic Dragon's body, forming a straight line, before a small beam appeared through the stars, then transformed into a massive light that consumed them and Majestic Dragon. "Synchro Summon! Come forth, Majestic Star Dragon!" Yusei cried out to the heavens as his second strongest monster, Majestic Star Dragon emerged from the beam, bathed in a bright light. Majestic Star Dragon spread his wings and flew out of the beam, before crying out.

Majestic Star Dragon ATK Points: 3800/ Level: 10.

Yuya, Serenity, Star-Eyes Savior Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon all stared up at the Majestic Star Dragon as it flew above them, bathing them with its majestic light. Yusei looked up at his Synchro Monster and smiled, having missed this form of Stardust Dragon as it saved him plenty of times before in the past.

Inside the monitor room of the LID building, the room was still filled with workers monitoring Paradise City, only the president of the company, Declan Akaba was sitting at his chair on the platform in front of the shelf. Claude was standing behind his boss, holding a holographic chart with his right hand. Earlier, Declan had been called in by the chief when their mainframe had detected strong Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Pendulum energy. They had checked and found out about the duel between Yusei and Yuya in the harbor. Right now, there was a screen in front of Declan, showing the cards that they've used in this duel so far.

The cards that the screen was displaying were Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, Meteorburst Dragon, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Star-Eyes Savior Dragon, Stardust Pegasus, Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste, Catapult Warrior and Stardust Dragon. These cards were the ones that have released the powerful summoning energies, but that wasn't what held Declan's main attention. Declan was staring at Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste's image, both intrigued and shocked by it for two reasons. 1; because Yusei uses Fusion Summoning and 2; this Fusion Monster was unlike the others as it required a Synchro Monster as material.

He was about to ask Claude to do some research on the Fusion Monster, when everything went to heck. The room flashed bright red and the computers screens started exploding. Electricity danced off of the keyboards and all the holographic screens started going haywire. Declan immediately shot up to his feet as all the workers backed away from their keyboards, before they began exploding as well. "What is going on!?" Declan questioned in an alarm tone, before an explosion close by got him to look over his right shoulder to see that the holographic chart that Claude used to be holding had exploded as well.

"Sir! We've detected a powerful Summoning unlike anything we've ever detected before. This far outclasses the energy that the Stardust Dragon card releases!" A female worker answered her boss, before crying out as her keyboard exploded. Declan slightly gritted his teeth, having thought that they upgraded their systems so that this would never happen again. "What card is it?! Hurry while we still can!" The president of LID told his workers, wanting to get a quick look at what card was causing this. The remaining workers with keyboards still in tact began typing away, searching for the monster responsible for all this.

After a few moments, a screen appeared above Declan, getting him and Claude to look up at it. The screen displayed Majestic Star Dragon's card, but there was something else, something unexpected on the screen. It was a sort of dragon mark over the card and screen. Unknown to them was that they were seeing the mark of the Crimson Dragon. "What is this mark?" Declan questioned as more keyboards began to explode. "We don't know sir. It was just displayed on the screen along with this card. It belongs to Yusei Fudo". The same female worker from before answered in an uncertain voice, before she cried out in surprise as her keyboard exploded.

Declan looked past the mark on the screen to the card behind it. 'Majestic...Star Dragon?', The young male read in confusion, before he turned towards Claude. "Claude, shut the mainframe down now!" Declan told his right-hand man, getting Claude to nod towards him. "Right away sir!" The adult replied to his boss, before turning around and ran off to the elevator. Declan turned back towards the screen and stared at both the mark and Majestic Star Dragon. 'Yusei Fudo, you really aren't like anything we've ever experienced'. The president of the Leo Institute thought to himself with narrowed eyes, wondering what other mysteries surrounded Yusei.

(Play Yu-Gi-Oh! Gx! Jaden strikes back)

"What the heck is this thing?" Yuya question with wide eyes, staring up at Majestic Star Dragon as the Synchro Monster flew high above the field. Serenity looked enchanted by Majestic Star Dragon as she had her hands clapped together. "It's so... beautiful". The teenage girl said in a trance-like voice, almost hypnotized by the dragon's beauty. Yusei spent another moment staring up at his Majestic Star Dragon, before he tilted his head down and stared back at Yuya. "I activate Majestic Star Dragon's special ability!" Yusei declared, holding his right hand out as Majestic Star Dragon stared down at Star-Eyes Savior Dragon.

"Once a turn, Majestic Star Dragon can both negate and take the effects of a face-up monster you control, and I select Star-Eyes Savior Dragon!" Yusei explained his monster's effect as sparkles came out of Star-Eyes Savior Dragon. The Synchro Pendulum Monster cried out as more sparkles came out of him and were absorbed into Majestic Star Dragon. Yuya watched the whole thing with wide eyes, knowing full well what this meant. "Now Majestic Star Dragon can use my own dragon's effect". The teenage boy said in disbelief, getting Yusei to nod towards him.

"That's right! And now, I'll use your Star-Eyes Savior Dragon's effect! And with it, I'll revive my Stardust Dragon!" Yusei declared as a black portal appeared on the ground in front of him, before Stardust Dragon flew out of it and crossed his claws.

Stardust Dragon DEF Points: 2000/ Level: 8.

"And then Majestic Star Dragon gains the revived monster's ATK!" The Synchro Duelist added as white flames appeared around Stardust Dragon, before it transferred over to Majestic Star Dragon. The white flames transformed into cosmic energy as they covered the Synchro Monster, causing his eyes to flash as his ATK Points went up.

Majestic Star Dragon ATK Points: 3800 + 2500 = 6300.

Yuya had wide eyes upon seeing Majestic Star Dragon's increased power. He stared for a good couple of seconds, before he tilted his head down and let out a sigh. Not a frustrated one, one filled with sadness or disappointment. It was a sigh of acceptance of his defeat. He lifted his head up and gave his mentor a grin. "Looks like this is your win. Go ahead, I've got nothing to stop you". Yuya told Yusei with a soft voice, getting the older male to nod towards him. "All right then! Majestic Star Dragon, attack Star-Eyes Savior Dragon with Star Shine Shred!" The Signer commanded his monster, swiping his right hand towards the Synchro Pendulum Monster.

Majestic Star Dragon tucked his wings in as cosmic energy covered him completely like a flare, before he began diving down towards Star-Eyes Savior Dragon. He made contact and created a big cosmic explosion that blew Yuya off of his feet. The boy soared through the air, before he back flipped and landed on his right knee, while Majestic Star Dragon flew out of the explosion and into the air with his wings spread out. (6300 - 3000 = 3300)

Yuya Life Points: 2000 - 3300 = 0.

Winner: Yusei!

Majestic Star Dragon, Stardust Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon all disappeared, before both Yusei and Yuya's Duel Disks deactivated. Yusei gave a sigh, before he walked over to his student as Yuya raised up to his feet. "Oh darn. I lost again". The teenage boy groaned out, getting the older adult to smile a bit, before he lifted up his right hand and placed it on Yuya's head, getting him to blink. "You're getting better, especially with Pendulum Summoning. You just need a bit more training". The Signer told his student, getting Yuya to grow a appreciated smile as he looked down at the ground.

However, if he had kept his head up, he would have notice Yusei narrow his eyes in concentration. His mark of the Crimson Dragon's head activated, but glowed lightly to not alert Serenity of its presence. 'Okay, time to see if I can remove Z-arc's darkness from within'. Yusei said in his mind as he focused the Crimson Dragon's power into his student in hopes of curing him. However, to his surprise, he felt a sort of power rejecting the Crimson Dragon's power of purification. 'What!?' Yusei thought to himself in surprise as the unknown power kept rejecting his attempts of purification.

'What's going on? Could this be Z-arc's doing?' Yusei questioned inside his mind, wondering if this was the Supreme King's doing. He would be unable to find out as at that moment, Yuya opened his eyes and looked at his mentor, before he grew a concerned expression at seeing Yusei's surprised look. "Is something wrong Yusei?" Yuya asked in concern, snapping Yusei out of his surprised state, before he gave a small reassuring smile to his pupil. "No, it's nothing. I just realized something surprising. You've gotten a bit taller, that's all". Yusei lied to his student to change the subject and avoid telling him what he attempted to do. Yuya tilted his head to the side in confusion, but decided to just drop the subject.

The two males then heard a small applause for them, getting both Yusei and Yuya to turn to see Serenity was the cause and that she was walking up to them. "That was an amazing duel you two. I wasn't aware that you knew how to Fusion Summon, Yusei". The teenage girl said as she turned to look at her crush, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in realization. "Yeah, why didn't you tell us you knew how to Fusion Summon?" The tomato hair style boy asked his mentor, getting Yusei to lower his head to look down at the ground. "I kept it secret because I didn't want Lulu to know about it". The adult male answered his student, making him grow an understanding look.

"I see what you mean. Lulu still has her "issues" with Fusion Summoning". The teenage boy said in concern for his crush, having known about Lulu's fear towards Fusion Summoning ever since his mother found out. "I was going to tell you guys eventually, but only after Lulu overcame her fear. I'm sorry about keeping a secret, I just felt that it was best to keep the fact that I can Fusion Summon a secret for a little bit". Yusei apologized to his student, getting Yuya to look back at his mentor and shake his head sideways. "It's okay. I completely understand why you did it to help Lulu be more at ease". The Odd-Eyes Duelist told his master, getting the Synchro Duelist to smile down at him.

Yusei then felt something grab his right hand, getting him to turn his attention and see that Serenity was responsible. She was holding his hand with both of hers and was smiling up at him. "Your intentions were genuine at heart, that is what mattered. I'm sure Lulu will understand as well when you tell her the truth". The young woman told the Shooting Star of Satellite with a soft understanding tone, getting him to smile at her. "Thanks Serenity". Yusei thanked his friend, getting her smile to slightly grow, before she let go of his hand.

"Hey Yusei? Out of curiosity, what made you learn how to Fusion Summon anyway?" Yuya asked his mentor with a curious voice, getting Yusei and Serenity to look down at the 14-year-old boy. Yusei grew a small smile as he turned his head left to look across the ocean, thinking about the duelist that inspired him to learn Fusion Summoning. "A friend inspired me. Seeing him use Fusion made me think about using Fusion as well". The Synchro Duelist answered his student, much to his and Serenity's curiosity. "Really? This guy must be something else if he inspired you of all people. What was his name?" The teenage boy asked in a curios voice, getting Yusei's smile to grow a little larger.

"His name is Jaden Yuki, and he uses an "Elemental Hero" deck". Yusei answered, getting Serenity fascinated at what she heard. "A deck full of heroes? I haven't heard of a deck like that before". The 16-year-old female said in fascination tone, wishing she had the chance to see those cards herself. "Jaden and I were in a Tag duel against someone along with another person. He fused one of my monsters with one of his and that inspired me greatly. After that tag duel, we went our separate ways and I haven't seen him since". Yusei told his student and friend, thinking back fondly of the duel against Paradox with Yugi and Jaden, and what he learned from them.

Yuya saw the fondness in his teacher's eyes and realized that whoever Jaden was, he was a close friend to Yusei. "Couldn't you just call him or something?" The teenage boy asked his mentor, getting Yusei's smile to turn into a sad one. "It's not easy. All I can say is that its complicated". Satellite's Shooting Star told his student, before he placed his right hand on Yuya's head and rubbed it slightly. "Maybe I'll see Jaden again someday, or not. What I do know is that the bond we share will never be broken, even from time itself". Yusei added, giving a small hint on what he meant by "complicated". Yuya blinked at his mentor for a moment, before he grew a small smile and nodded to him.

Yusei then lifted his hand off of Yuya's head. "We should head back to You Show now. Skip has probably already installed the new ARC System by now, and I'm sure the others want to try it out". Yusei said to the younger male, getting Yuya to nod towards him, before he turned to look at Serenity. "Want to come with us?" Yuya asked the young woman, getting Serenity to nod at him. "Sure. I'd like to see everyone again". The teenage girl replied to the tomato hair style boy.

Yusei began walking off towards the You Show Duel School, followed by Yuya and Serenity following his lead. Once again, Serenity wrapped her arms around Yusei's right arm, much to her delight and Yusei's discomfort.

(10 minutes later)

Not too long later, Yusei, Yuya and Serenity all arrived outside of the You Show Duel School, where an unexpected sight greeted them. There was a line full of children around Yuya's age and younger lined up in front of the school. All three of them had wide eyes of surprise at seeing this. "Well, this is a surprise". Serenity remarked with wide eyes, still having her arms wrapped around Yusei's right arm. Yuya blinked, before he noticed Allie and Frederick standing right at the end of the line. "Allie, Frederick". The Odd-Eyes Duelist said to the two young children, getting their attention as they turned around.

They both grew smiles upon seeing Yusei, Serenity and Yuya before them. "Ahh, Yuya! Yusei! Serenity!" Frederick exclaimed in joy as he and Allie ran up to the three. "What's going on here? What's with all these people here?" Yuya asked his young friends and fellow classmates. "We don't know. They were just here when we showed up. I think they're just confusing our school with a different one". Allie answered the teenage male, getting Yuya to turn towards her, before he looked at the line of people, where he saw some of them staring at him in excitement.

"Let's head inside and ask around". Yusei told the group, getting them all to look and nod to him. They walked past the line, ignoring all of the children's awe filled looks directed at Yusei and Yuya, and entered the You Show Duel School. Inside, there was even a line of young children as well with the line ending at the window counter, where Lulu was. She was currently speaking with the row of children at the front of the line that were gathered around the window counter. "Lulu". Yusei said to the Winged-Beast user, getting hers and the children's attention as they turned to look and saw Yusei, Yuya, Serenity, Allie and Frederick.

"Yusei, Yuya, Allie, Frederick, Serenity, welcome back". Lulu greeted them back with a warm smile, while all the kids had amazed expressions on their faces at seeing the two famous duelists. "Just what in the world is going on here? What's with all these people?" Yuya questioned his crush with pure curiosity, getting Lulu to turn her head towards him. "Believe it or not, they're here to apply for our school. Your Pendulum Summoning must have really influenced them, Yuya". The Mistress of Birds answered the Pendulum User, getting him to slightly widen his eyes. Allie and Frederick grew excited upon hearing this however.

"Really? Oh that's great news!" Frederick exclaimed with a happy look. "It's been so long since we got any new additions to the school. If all goes well, You Show will grow enormous!" Allie said with an excited tone, holding up her fists to express her excitement. Yuya still had slightly wide eyes, before he looked towards his mentor. "What do you think about all this?" Yuya questioned Yusei, getting the older male to shift his attention over to his student. "This would benefit You Show greatly. Maybe we should give this a chance". The Synchro Duelist replied to the teenage boy, which Yuya nodded to him.

The tomato hair style boy then looked back towards Lulu. "We'll head on in and check with the others". The Dueltainer told the Xyz User, getting her to shake her head at him. "Actually Yuya, Skip wanted to hold a demo Action Duel for you to show off your new Pendulum Summoning as soon as you got back". Lulu told Yuya, getting him to raise an eyebrow as he placed his hands on his hips. "That doesn't sound too difficult. Who am I facing?" The teenage boy asked in a curious voice, getting the Mistress of Birds to grow a nervous smile. "...My sister..." She answered with a tone full of pity, immediately getting Yuya to gulp.

Over their time together, Yuya and Rin had developed an... "interesting" relationship. She was a good friend and was a real supporter, but she seemed to like picking on Yuya a bit. She even gets a bit physical with him, putting him in headlocks, doing wrestling moves and playfully torturing him. She never did it with the intent to hurt, it was just her way of treating him. Lulu asked about Rin about her treatment of Yuya, and Rin told her that it was because he reminded her of Yugo, and that she couldn't help herself. Yuya had grown to be slightly scared of her, but didn't fear her. She was a friend that he trusted, it was just that he was intimidated by her.

Serenity gave Yuya a sympathetic look, before she placed her right hand on his left shoulder. "Have fun". Serenity told the teenage boy, before she, Yusei, Allie and Frederick walked away to head to the elevator. Yuya gave a defeated sigh and resigned himself to his fate, before he walked down the hall, heading towards the dueling arena. Lulu gave the walking away Yuya a soft smile, before she returned her attention to the children in front of her. "Okay, in order to enroll in the You Show Duel School, you just need to fill out this form". The Mistress of Birds said as she held up a form, immediately getting raised hands from the young children as they excitedly asked to be given the form.

Lulu grew a small smile at seeing the children's excitement to join. It was really refreshing to see the smiling faces of children again instead of depressed faces. She knew that this was only temporarily as soon, the dimension war will resume and she'll have to fight against Duel Academy again. Still, she was gonna enjoy all the moments of peace that she was able to get. Her expression slightly fell as she wished that her brother and friends were here to enjoy this brief moment of peace. Realizing that she was spacing out, Lulu shook her head lightly, before she returned her attention to the children.

"You teach all the students here how to Pendulum Summon, right?" A young boy asked the purple haired beauty, getting Lulu to shake her head at him. "Not exactly. See, Pendulum Summoning was invented today, so we don't know all its capabilities yet. We can provide you all a chance to see it with your own eyes, but so far, Yuya is the only one that can use it". The Mistress of Birds answered the boy, getting him to grow a disappointed look. "Aw". The young male groaned in displeasure at what he heard. "But you do teach Synchro and Xyz, right?" A young female asked Lulu, getting the Mistress of Birds to nod to her.

During the last month, they've created an Xyz course, just like their Synchro course. She was the "supporting teacher" of the Xyz course, helping Skip teach Xyz Summoning. The Synchro course had Yusei to teach them with Rin sometimes adding in her thoughts as she was the second most skilled Synchro duelist. She had learned Synchro Summoning under their teachings, while Frederick learned Xyz from her. Allie, on the other hand, learned Synchro Summoning. The two children had grown much stronger under their teachings.

Lulu gave the younger female a nod, giving her answer. "That's right, we do. In fact, the one that is to duel Yuya in the demo Duel is the You Show Duel School's top Synchro Duelist. You could learn a lot from watching her duel". The Mistress of Birds told the young female, getting her to grow an excited expression. Just then, Lulu took notice of a nervous looking boy among the crowd of children. Unknown to her was that the boy she was looking at was Tate, the same boy who had watched Yuya and Gong's duel earlier today.

"Is there something wrong?" Lulu asked Tate, getting him to tilt his head up to look at her. The 14-year-old girl gave the young boy a reassuring smile to ease his nerves. "There's no need to be nervous. If you want to enroll, you're welcome to". The Mistress of Birds told the young boy, getting Tate to grow a smile on his face. Seeing Tate's spirit lifted pleased Lulu, before she looked down at her bracelet for a moment, and then went back to filling out forms.

A little bit later outside of the Duel Arena, multiple children stood five feet away from Skip, who was standing up on a blue bench, holding a microphone with a speaker besides him on his left and right. "Here in the You Show Duel School, we continue a proud tradition of Action Dueling. Our training will produce a duelist who mixes the zeal of a competitor with the crowd pleasing instincts of a entertainer! The legacy of that great dueling will-". Skips attempted to continue, but someone snatched the microphone out of his hand.

He looked down to see that it was Zuzu who had snatched the microphone of his right hand with her own. "Sorry for that, he can get a little..."carried away", but moving on. It's time for the demo Action Duel!" The pink haired female called out, getting all the kids to cheer in excitement. "If you would please turn around and face the window". Zuzu requested from the children, which they did as she asked and turned around. There, standing across from each other in the Dueling arena were Yuya and Rin, both with their Duel Disks equipped. The Duel Disk that Rin was using was the same Duel Disk that she got in the Fusion Dimension.

Yuya had a slightly intimidated face, while Rin had her left hand on her hip. Yuya gave a gulp, before he turned to face the audience with a force smile. "Welcome to the Yuya spectacular!" Yuya exclaimed as he pointed towards the audience with his index finger, before he nearly jumped out of his skin upon hearing knuckles cracking. He turned to look back at his opponent and saw Rin was cracking her knuckles with a comic dark look. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a demo duel starring two duelists and not just one?" The Witch of the Wind questioned with a tone that promised death if he tried anything funny.

Yuya gave another gulp, before he shook his head sideways as if his life depended on it. Rin gave a smile with her eyes closed upon seeing Yuya's cooperation. "That's a good boy. Now, are you ready to get your game on?" The Witch of the Wind questioned as she held up her left arm, getting Yuya to replace his fear and replace it with determination. "You bet!" He replied, before holding up his left arm. "You're gonna regret this". Rin stated with a confident look, before she looked towards the control room.

Inside of the control room, Yusei sat down in front of the circuit board. Lulu and Allie stood at Yusei's left side, while Gong and Frederick was at his right. "Listen to them. They're fired up". Frederick remarked with a wide smile on his face, getting Gong, who had his arms crossed, to look down at him. "Yuya wasn't at first, because Rin's colder than the ice age, but now he's got his guts fired up!" The Superheavy Samurai Duelist said with a smirk, before turning back to watch the duel. "Hurry up Yusei! Boot up the ARC System so that they can start dueling!" Allie urged the male adult with an excited smile, getting Lulu to place her hands on Allie's shoulders.

"Just be patient Allie. It's okay to be excited, but don't rush ahead". Lulu told the younger female, getting the red haired girl to nod up at her. Yusei pressed down on the circuit board's button, causing the screen to bring up the "The Wildest West" Action Field on the screen, before the words "Standby" followed. "The Field Spell, The Wildest West should do for now". Satellite's Shooting Star remarked as the ARC System underneath the duel field activated. "Augmented Reality Combat System energized! Generating Action Field!" A female AI voice called out as the Arc System underneath the field changed to show a wild west field, just like Satisfaction Town back in Yusei's world.

Rin gave a whistle as she looked around her surroundings, admiring the wild west style field. "Not bad, a little too old style for my taste, but it'll work". The Windwitch Duelist remarked, before she turned to look at her opponent and held her left arm in front of herself. Her Duel Disk activated, before a white blade appeared in the shape of a sword. "Bring it on!" Yuya exclaimed as he swiped his left arm down, before the blade activated. "Let's Duel!" Rin and Yuya exclaimed with narrowed eyes as they drew their starting hand, beginning the duel between them.

Action cards gathered above the field in the form of a digital sphere, before they dispersed all over the field. "Action cards dispersed!" The same female AI voice from before called out as both Yuya and Rin transferred their five cards to their left hands. "I hope you don't mind, but ladies first". Rin said with a grin, taking the first turn as she looked down at her hand, before picking a single card and held it up. "I'll start off with a Spell card called Graceful Charity!" The Witch of the Wind exclaimed as the card gleamed, before she discarded it.

"First, I draw 3 cards, then discard 2!" Rin explained her Spell card's effect as she drew the top 3 cards of her deck. She held the cards in front of her, before she grew a grin at seeing what they were, before adding them to her hand. She took two cards from her hand and looked at them. One of them was Windwitch - Glass Bell, while the other was a Monster card called Windwitch - Renew Caster. It had the image of a 14-year-old girl that had pale white skin, short green hair and electric blue eyes. She wore a icy green dress that showed her shoulders and was short sleeve, stopping at her elbows. Her dress had a split at the left, revealing her bare legs underneath and her white boots. She had an electric blue witch hat on her head and was riding green witch broom.

Rin stared down at the two cards for a moment, before she discarded them to the Graveyard zone of her Duel Disk. "With that out of the way, let's change the scenery". The Witch of the Wind said, before she picked another card from her hand and held it up. It was a Spell card with the card's image showing a magical forest with Windwitch monsters flying around the forest on their brooms with happy smiles. "I'll play the Field-Spell, Windwitch - Magical Forest!" Rin exclaimed, before the card began glowing a bright white colour.

(Windwitch - Magical Forest/ Type: Field Spell/ Effect: All "Windwitch" Monsters you control gain 300 ATK. If you Special Summon a "Windwitch" Monster to your field, you can select one "Windwitch" Monster in your deck with the same Level as that Summoned monster and add it to your hand.)

The entire Wildest West field started glowing, before it started changing shapes. Yuya and the children watching looked around in wonder as the old style town transformed into a magical forest that was full of very large trees. "Like it? Well, I love it. As long as this Spell is in play, all Windwitch monsters I control gain 300 ATK Points. My field may be empty now, but that'll change with this". Rin said as she held up a single card with her right hand. "I Summon Windwitch - Frosty Bell!" The Witch of the Wind called out, before she swiped the card onto her Duel Disk's blade. A flash of white appeared, before it cleared to reveal the new monster. It looked like a light blue snow ornament with angel wings at the top, a green gem at the top of its head and two tear drops on the pattern.

"But she won't be alone for long because I activate her Special Ability! When this card is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon a Windwitch from the Graveyard!" Rin explained her monster's effect, before her Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone released a snowy white light. "And thanks to Graceful Charity, I got two options. I'll go with this, Windwitch - Glass Bell!" The Witch of the Wind declared her choice as a portal appeared, before Windwitch - Glass Bell flew out of it on her broom.

Windwitch - Glass Bell ATK Points: 1500 + 300 = 1800/ Level: 4.

"At this moment, both Glass Bell and Magical Forest's effects activate! First, since a Windwitch was just Special Summoned, Magical Forest allows me to add a different Windwitch than the one Summoned, but with the same Level!" Rin explained her Field-Spell's effect as her deck started shuffling for a moment, before suddenly stopping with a single card slotting out. Rin picked the card up with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before showing the card to her opponent. "I select the Level 4 Windwitch - Hailing Diamond!" Rin declared her choice as the card's image showed a monster that looked like a smaller version of Windwitch - Winter Bell.

(Windwitch - Hailing Diamond/ Attribute: Wind/ Level: 4/ ATK Points: 800/ DEF Points: 800/ Type: Spellcaster/ Tuner/ Effect/ Effect: All Wind Attribute monsters on the field gains 800 ATK as long as this card remains on the field. Rin added the card to her hand, before holding her right hand out. "Glass Bell allows me to add another "Windwitch" monster as well". She told her opponent as her deck shuffled once more, before suddenly stopping with a single card slotting out. Rin picked the card up with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before showing the card to Yuya. "I select Windwitch - Black Ice Bell!" Rin declared her choice with the card's image showing a monster that looked exactly like Ice Bell, only her hair, outfit, wand, broom were all black and had blue eyes.

(Windwitch - Black Ice Bell/ Level: 3/ Attribute: Wind/ Type: Spellcaster/ Effect/ ATK Points: 1300/ DEF Points: 1000/ Effect: If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, then deal 500 Points of damage. "I think I've done enough for now. I'll end my turn with two face-downs!" Rin declared her turn over, holding up two cards, before slotting them into her Duel Disk. Two face-down cards appeared in front of Rin as Glass Bell and Frosty Bell flew besides one another.

Rin's move got Yuya and the children watching confused. "What's up? You could have Synchro Summoned with Glass Bell and Frosty Bell, but you didn't. Why?" Yuya questioned his opponent in a confused tone, getting the green haired girl to smirk at him. "What kind of duelist would I be if I gave away my strategy?" Rin questioned in return, making the Odd-Eyes Duelist shrug his shoulders, before placing his right hand on the top card of his deck. "My turn now!" The teenage boy called out as he drew his card, before holding it in front of himself.

As he looked across his starting hand, thinking of what his first move should be. However, suddenly, his pendant started glowing, getting the teenage boy to look down in surprise. He couldn't display his surprise as the bright light forced him to close his eyes.

(Yuya's vision)

Yuya opened his eyes, only to widen them to see that he was somehow in outer space. "W-where am I?" The teenager questioned, wondering how exactly he ended up here without warning. Just then, stars and comets from all around began to gather together in front of Yuya, getting him to cry out in surprise. The stars and comets soon came together completely, causing a bright flash of light. The flash of light quickly cleared to reveal a magician that looked similar to a few of his own magicians floating in front of Yuya, completely covered in light.

Yuya stared at the unknown monster with wide eyes of disbelief, who stared down at him with glowing blue eyes. The magician then held its left hand out to Yuya, getting him to look down at it for a moment, before looking back at the unknown monster. Yuya then grew an understanding smile as he understood what the unknown magician was asking him. "I understand. Let us fight together from now on". The Odd-Eyes Duelist said as he brought up his right hand and reached out for the magician's hand. The two grabbed hold of each other's hands. The moment they did, another bright flash appeared that forced Yuya to close his eyes, but before he did, he managed to see the unknown magician's appearance.

Yuya blinked in surprise as he found himself back in his duel against Rin. He looked towards his Duel Disk's Extra Deck zone and saw a slight light emerging from within it. The Odd-Eyes Duelist gave a smile as he knew that the unknown magician he saw earlier was the cause of it and that this was its way of asking to be Summoned. Deciding to grant its request, Yuya turned his head to face Rin and focus on the duel. "I Summon Performapal Longphone Bull!" He called out as he swiped the card that he was holding with the right hand onto his Duel Disk's blade. Longphone Bull appeared with a small flash of light in front of Yuya.

Performapal Longphone Bull ATK Points: 1600/ Level: 4.

"I activate his special ability! When he's Summoned to the field, I can add a Performapal monster with 1000 or fewer ATK Points". Yuya explained his monster's special ability as Longphone Bull's phone began ringing, before Yuya's deck started shuffling. After a moment, the deck stopped shuffling with a single card slotting out, which Yuya picked up with his right hand's index and middle fingers. "I add Performapal Guitartle with an ATK power of 300!" The teenage boy declared his choice, before holding his right hand out to the side.

"And I'll set Scale 6 Guitartle in the Pendulum Zone!" Yuya exclaimed as he set the card on the right edge of his Duel Disk's blade. A blue pillar appeared on his right side with Performapal Guitartle rising up from within it, before stopping with the number "6" underneath it.

The audience grew excited upon seeing this, while Zuzu and Skip frowned in confusion. "What's Yuya doing? He can't Pendulum Summon with just one monster in the Pendulum Zone". The principal questioned with slightly wild eyes, making Zuzu shrug her shoulders. "No idea. Maybe he has something planned". The teenage girl answered in an uncertain voice, wondering herself what Yuya was up to.

"It must be lonely for Guitartle to be in the Pendulum Zone all alone, so I'll give him company with the Scale 2 Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer! I'm taking control of this duel starting now!" Yuya exclaimed, holding up another Pendulum Monster with his right hand, and then placed it on the left edge of his Duel Disk's blade. The blade then gleamed in a rainbow colour for a moment, before the words 'Pendulum' appeared across the blade in rainbow colours. Another blue pillar appeared on Yuya's left side with Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer rising up from within it, before stopping with the number "2" underneath it. A giant version of Yuya's pendant then appeared out of nowhere in between the two monsters and swung sideways both left and right.

The crowd of kids were now crying out in excitement with even Zuzu and Skip now looking excited. "With these two monsters, I'm now allowed to Summon monsters that are Level 3 all the way to 5 at the same time, but before that, I'm gonna do a little side performance first! I activate Performapal Guitartle's Pendulum Effect!" Yuya called out as he swiped his right hand out towards Guitartle. "When a card is activated in the other Pendulum Zone, Guitartle allows me to draw another card!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained his monster's Pendulum Effect as he drew another card from his deck, taking a moment to look at it, before thrusting his left hand out.

"Swing far, pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, to swing into action!" The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created a portal from the circle that it was drawing, before 2 lights shot out of it. "Introducing two new stars! Wisdom-Eye Magician and Double Iris Magician!" Yuya cried out as the two lights cleared to reveal two new monsters. One of them looked like Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, only human, wielding a sword with its right hand. The second monster was a white haired magician monster, wielding a staff with a sort of lightbulb attached to it. The two new monsters cried out as they floated besides Longphone Bull.

The audience of children cried out in amazement upon seeing the Pendulum Summon with Skip, Allie and Frederick crying out as well. Zuzu, Gong, Lulu and Rin all had fascinated expressions on their faces upon seeing Pendulum Summoning again, while Yusei watched silently. "Hold your cheers, because I'm not done yet! I now overlay the Level 4 Double Iris Magician and Wisdom-Eye Magician!" Yuya declared, swiping his right hand into the air as Double Iris Magician turned into a bright purple light, while Wisdom-Eye Magician transformed into a yellow one.

The two lights ascended into the sky and danced across one another, before a black galaxy-like portal appeared on the ground in front of Yuya. "With these two monsters, I build the overlay network!" The Dueltainer called out as the two light descended into the portal, causing light blue electricity to erupt out of it. "I Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Timestar Magician!" Yuya cried out to the heavens as his new monster emerged from the portal. It was a male magician that looked like a combination of Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician. He had brown hair like Timegazer, but was wearing clothing like Stargazer's, although it was white, blue and black. His left hand was wearing the same weapon as Timegazer while his right hand was carrying the same staff as Stargazer. Two black overlay units were circling around the new magician, but he paid them no attention as he stared across the field towards Rin's monsters.

The children watching the duel all gazed at Timestar Magician in awe and wonder, while Skip cried out in applause. Zuzu frowned at the sight of the Xyz Monster, before she turned her head away, only to slightly widen her eyes upon seeing Serenity standing besides her, watching the duel with curious eyes. In the control room, Lulu had grown an amazed look upon seeing Timestar Magician, admiring the new Xyz Monster greatly. Gong, Frederick and Allie were of the same mind as the Mistress of Birds, while Yusei was more intrigued. 'That's odd. I've never seen this card in Yuya's deck before. Where did he get it?' The young adult thought to himself in curiosity, wondering where his student acquired this new monster. Yuya stared up at his new monster for a moment or two, before he turned to look at Rin with a confident look.

"I activate Timestar Magician's ability!" Yuya declared as the Xyz Monster held up his staff, before he absorbed an overlay unit into it. "By using an Overlay Unit, I can add a DARK Spellcaster monster from my deck, Graveyard or face-up from my Extra Deck to my hand!" He explained his monster's effect as his deck shuffled, before a card slotted out. Yuya picked the card up with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before showing it to Rin, revealing it to be Timebreaker Magician. "And I think I'll go with Timebreaker Magician!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist declared his choice, before adding the card to his hand, making it a total of 4 cards.

Timestar Magician Overlay units: 2 - 1 = 1.

The teenage boy then picked up another card and held it out, revealing the card to be a Spell. "Next up, I activate the Continuous Spell card called Star Pendulumgraph!" Yuya called out, before slotting the card into his Duel Disk. A larger copy of the Spell card appeared in front of Yuya, before it and Timestar Magician started gleaming. "As long as this card remains on the field, Spellcasters I control cannot be targeted by Spells, or by monster effects!" He explained his Spell card's effect, getting Allie to widen her eyes. "So Rin can't target Yuya's monster with Spells, or effects anymore?" The red haired girl questioned in surprise, getting Lulu to look down at her and nod.

"That's right. Yuya has put Rin in a difficult spot as he's limited the Action cards that she can use". Lulu told the younger female, getting Aliie to smile up at her. "Oh-hoy!" Frederick exclaimed in joy, getting Yusei to lightly chuckle as he crossed his arms. "Come on Yuya! Show that witch how hot your spirit burns!" Gong roared out in a proud tone, having full confidence of his best friend's victory against Rin. Yuya had a confident smile on his face as he looked across his surroundings and saw no Action Spells nearby. He turned to look back at his opponent and slowly began to lift his right hand. "And now I-!" He began, only to be interrupted by Rin. "Not so fast!" The Witch of the Wind exclaimed, getting everyone to widen their eyes in surprise.

Rin thrust his right hand out towards one of her face-down cards. "I play the Trap, Synchro Transmission!" The Witch of the Wind exclaimed as her face-down card flipped itself up, before lightly gleaming. "During the Main Phase, this card allows me to Synchro Summon!" She explained her Trap card's effect, much to the surprise of nearly everyone. "Say what!?" Yuya exclaimed in surprise as Frosty Bell flew into the air, while Glass Bell transformed into 4 green rings that chased after Frosty Bell. The four rings came together and circled around Frosty Bell, scanning her with the Spellcaster-Type monster turning orange transparent, before two bright stars appeared within its body.

A bright beam appeared and consumed the light and rings. "I Synchro Summon! Level 6! Windwitch - Piercing Bell!" Rin called out to the heavens as her new monster emerged from the beam. It was a female adult that had skin as white as the snow, crystal blue eyes and icy green hair that reached her waist. Unlike most Windwitch monsters, the monster wore a pure white jumpsuit, but she had blade shaped gauntlets and boots made out of ice on her hands and legs. Finally, she was riding atop a blade shaped broom made of ice itself. Windwitch - Piercing Bell rode her broom into the air, before she gave a cold look towards Timestar Magician.

Windwitch - Piercing Bell ATK Points: 2000 + 300 = 2300.

"So that's why you didn't Synchro Summon on your turn. You were waiting for an opportunity to Synchro Summon with Synchro Transmission's effect". Yuya said in realization, getting Rin to nod towards him. "That's right. Now, I could use Magical Forest's effect, but I think not. But I will activate Piercing Bell's special ability! When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, you take 300 points of damage for each Synchro Material! Since there was 2, that's 600 points!" Rin explained her Synchro Monster's special ability as Piercing Bell held her hands out towards Yuya, before icicles erupted out of her gauntlets. "Go! Piercing Icicle!" The Synchro Duelist commanded, thrusting her right hand out as Piercing Bell fired icicles from her gauntlets towards Yuya. The Odd-Eyes Duelist leaped back and dodged the icicles, causing them to stab the ground in front of him instead, but his Life Points still went down.

Yuya Life Points: 4000 - 600 = 3400.

"Not bad Rin, but your Piercing Bell is not match for Timestar Magician! Attack!" Yuya commanded, pointing his left hand's index finger towards Piercing Bell. Timestar Magician pointed his staff towards Piercing Bell, before a magical portal appeared in front of the tip of it. Timestar Magician unleashed a blue blast from the portal at Piercing Bell, destroying the Synchro Monster and making Rin wince. (2400 - 2300 = 100)

Rin Life Points: 4000 - 100 = 3900.

Strangely enough, Rin gave her friend an appreciated smile. "Thank you very much. Because you destroyed Piercing Bell, her second special ability activates". The Witch of the Wind said as a blue portal appeared on her right side. "When Piercing Bell is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, one of your face-up monsters loses 2000 ATK Points!" Rin explained her monster's special ability as a barrage of icicles shot out of the portal. "Have you forgotten Star Pendulumgraph's effect? As long as it remains face-up on the field, Spellcasters I control cannot be targeted by Spells, or card effects". Yuya reminded the Synchro Duelist, getting her to grin at him.

"That's true, but your Performapal Longphone Bull is still an option!" Rin pointed out as she pointed towards Longphone Bull, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in realization. The icicles all flew around Longphone Bull in a circle, before stabbing the ground around him, surrounding the Beast-Type monster and getting it to look down in surprise.

Performapal Longphone Bull ATK Points: 1600 - 2000 = 0.

"That isn't good for Yuya. With his monster's ATK Points at 0, he can't attack Rin directly". Serenity commented as the the blue portal besides Rin disappeared. Yuya lightly frown, before he looked down at his hand and picked up a single card. "I'll set a face-down card and end my turn!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist declared his turn over as he slotted the card into his Duel Disk. A face-down card appeared in front of Yuya, before he took off running in search for Action cards with Timestar Magician and Longphone Bull floating after him, followed by his Pendulum Monsters in the blue pillars.

Rin Life Points: 3900/ Number of cards in hand: 3.

Zuzu watched with her breath held, the intensity of the duel getting to her even though it was Rin's second turn. Deciding to get her mind off the intense duel, she turned to look at Serenity, who was watching the duel closely. "Serenity, where were you earlier? You weren't here when the duel started". Zuzu asked her friend, getting Serenity to look down at her for a moment, before she went back to watching the duel. "I had something important to think about and I needed to be alone. It's taken care of, I'll tell you about it later". The teenage girl told the younger female, getting Zuzu to tilt her head in confusion, before she went back to watching the duel as well.

Rin watched Yuya run and search for an Action card without moving an inch, before she placed her right hand on the top card of her deck. "My turn now! I draw!" The Witch of the Wind called out as she drew her card with her right hand's thumb, index and middle fingers, before holding the card in front of herself. Rin then held her right hand out towards her face-down card, keeping a hold of her card. "I activate the Trap card, Icy Breath Refrain!" Rin called out as her face-down card flipped itself over, before it started glowing.

"This card has two effects, but I'll go with option number 1. A Windwitch in my Graveyard is Summoned back to the field in DEF Position. Come on back, Piercing Bell!" Rin called out as a blizzard appeared and came together, forming a sphere besides her. The blizzard soon cleared to reveal Windwitch - Piercing Bell riding atop her ice broom with her arms crossed.

Windwitch - Piercing Bell DEF Points: 2000/ ATK Points: 2000 + 300 = 2300/ Level: 6.

"But she won't be here for long. First, I'll Summon Windwitch - Hailing Diamond!" Rin called out, picking up a card and placing it on her Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared, before the smaller version of Winter Bell flew out of it and flew besides Piercing Bell.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond ATK Points: 800 + 300 = 1100/ Level: 4.

"Hailing Diamond's special ability activates! So long as this card remains on the field, all WIND Attribute monsters gains 800 ATK Points!" Rin revealed to her opponent as a green aura surrounded both Hailing Diamond and Piercing Bell, powering them up.

Windwitch Piercing Bell ATK Points: 2300 + 800 = 3100.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond ATK Points: 1100 + 800 = 1900.

"Since I control 2 Windwitch monsters, I can Special Summon Windwitch - Snow Bell from my hand!" Rin told her opponent as she held up a monster card, before swiping it onto her Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared, before a white snow ornament appeared from within it.

Windwitch - Snow Bell ATK Points: 100 + 300 = 400 + 800 = 1200/ Level: 1.

"Magical Forest's effect activates once more! Now I get to add a Level 1 Windwitch monster from my deck to the hand!" Rin stated as her deck shuffled, before stopping with a single card slotted out. Rin picked the card up with her right hand's middle and index finger. "I select the Level 1 Windwitch - Snow Angel Bell to my hand!" Rin declared her choice, revealing the card to be a Monster card with the image showing a female adult angel. She had long emerald long hair, silver eyes and pale skin. On her back were silvery white angel wings with white feathers. Angel Bell wore a white priestess outfit, white nail polish on her hands and was bare footed.

Rin added the card to her hand, before holding her right hand up into the air. "Level 1 Snow Bell Tunes with Level 6 Piercing Bell!" The Witch of the Wind called out as Piercing Bell flew into the air, while Snow Bell transformed into a green ring that chased after the Synchro Monster. The single green ring circled around Windwitch - Piercing Bell, scanning her with the Spellcaster-Type Monster turning orange transparent. "I'm Summoning a Monster that will hit you with all the power of a wicked wintertime blizzard! I Synchro Summon Windwitch - Winter Bell!" Rin chanted as Piercing Bell's body dispersed to reveal 6 bright stars that lined up in the green rings, before a beam appeared and consumed them all. Her ace monster, Windwitch - Winter Bell flew out of the beam and gave out a cry as she floated in the air.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2400 + 300 = 2700 + 800 = 3500/ Level: 7.

Allie and Gong's faces lit up upon seeing Rin's ace monster take the field. "Alright, it's Rin's ace monster!" Allie exclaimed in excitement, getting Yusei to turn towards her. "Yuya's in trouble!" Frederick remarked in concern for the Odd-Eyes Duelist. "It'll take more than Winter Bell to beat Yuya. He's still got some tricks up his sleeves!" Gong exclaimed strongly as he produced anime flames around himself, getting everyone to sweat drop at him.

Rin jumped onto Winter Bell's back blade, before the Synchro Monster took off after the Odd-Eyes Duelist with Hailing Diamond floating after her. "Before I get to attacking, I activate Synchro Transmission's effect from the Graveyard. By banishing this card from the Graveyard, I can return Piercing Bell to my Extra Deck, and then draw a card". The Witch of the Wind explained her Trap card's effect as her Duel Disk's graveyard zone released a bright shine, before Windwitch - Piercing Bell's card slotted out of it. She picked the card up while her Extra Deck opened, before she placed the card inside of it. The Extra Deck closed, before Rin moved her right hand to her deck and drew the top card.

Rin looked at the card, and then she added it to her hand. She then looked forward, before she held her right hand out. "Winter Bell, attack Timestar Magician!" Rin commanded her ace monster, causing the Synchro Monster turn towards the Xyz Monster that was floating behind Yuya, before the Odd-Eyes Duelist looked over his left shoulder to look at his opponent. "Think again! I activate the Trap, Performapal Show Down!" Yuya called out, before his face-down appeared besides him and flipped up, facing Rin and her monsters. "This Trap targets monsters you control and switch them to face-down Defense Position up to the number of face-up Spell cards I control!" The Dueltainer explained his Trap card's effect, getting Rin to raise an eyebrow at him.

"So, since you have one face-up Spell card on your field, that means you'll switch Winter Bell to DEF Mode, right?" Rin questioned her friend, getting him to grin at her. "Not exactly. See, Pendulum Monster when in the Pendulum Zone, counts as Spell cards as well". Yuya revealed to her opponent, getting almost everyone to widen their eyes in shock, except Yusei and Serenity. "Pendulum Monsters in the Pendulum Zone counts as Spell cards? No way". Zuzu whispered in disbelief as she placed her hands on the window. "Incredible". Skip whispered in awe, pressing his face against the window.

"So, instead of just Winter Bell, Hailing Diamond is forced into face-down DEF Mode as well!" Yuya told his opponent as his Trap card fired two beams at Winter Bell and Hailing Diamond. Rin leaped off of Winter Bell's blade, right before the two beams struck the two Windwitch monsters, causing them to transform into shadowy caged monsters with red eyes. Rin landed right at a tree branch, right next to the trunk. She gave Yuya a grin as he stopped running and turned to look up at her with his monsters following his lead. "Not bad". The Witch of the Wind complimented, before she looked at the trunk of the tree and saw an Action card stuck to it.

Rin took hold of the card and pulled it out of the trunk, before she turned it over to see what it was. She gave a grin, before she added the card to her hand and took hold of another card. "I'll play a face-down card and end my turn here!" Rin called out as she slotted the card into her Duel Disk. A face-down card appeared in front of her, before the two shadowy caged creatures floated in front of her.

Yuya Life Points: 3400/ Number of cards in hand: 3.

"My turn! Draw!" The Dueltainer called out as he drew his card, before looking at it. Yuya then swiped his right hand up into the air, still holding his card. "Swing far, pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, to swing into action!" The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created a portal from the circle that it was drawing, before a single light shot out of it. "You're up, Timebreaker Magician!" Yuya exclaimed as the light cleared to reveal Timebreaker Magician, who took a stance with his sword.

Timebreaker Magician ATK Points: 1400/ Level: 3.

Everyone grew slightly confused by Yuya just Pendulum Summoning one monster. "What's the big idea just Pendulum Summoning one monster?" Rin questioned her opponent as she sat down on the tree branch and kicked her legs out. Yuya gave a grin, before holding his right hand out towards Timebreaker Magician. "It was to activate my magician's special ability! When this card is Pendulum Summoned by itself from the hand, its ATK Points double!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained his Pendulum Monster's effect. Timebreaker Magician held up his sword as a purple aura surrounded himself.

Timebreaker Magician ATK Points: 1400 + 1400 = 2800.

Rin gave a laugh upon seeing this. "It's true what they say. Never judge a book by its cover". The Witch of the Wind remarked, getting Yuya to laugh, before holding his right hand out. "There's more where that came from. "I activate Timestar Magician's ability!" Yuya declared as the Xyz Monster held up his staff, before he absorbed his last overlay unit into it. "By using an Overlay Unit, I can add a DARK Spellcaster monster from my deck, Graveyard or face-up from my Extra Deck to my hand!" He explained his monster's effect as his deck shuffled, before a card slotted out. Yuya picked the card up with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before showing it to Rin, revealing it to be Timegazer Magician. "Timegazer Magician is joining the show!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist declared his choice, before adding the card to his hands.

"But his performance will have to wait. I Summon Performapal Silver Claw!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out, taking a card from his hand and placing it on his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared besides him, before Silver Claw came out of it and howled.

"Before I get to attacking, I have one last card to play before that. The Equip Spell, Determine Shield!" Yuya called out as he held the Spell card out with his right hand's index and middle fingers, before the card released an orange light. An orange bright light appeared on Timebreaker Magician's left forearm, before it died down to reveal the orange shield attached to his arm. "This Equip Spell not only gives him 300 extra ATK Points, but the power to deal piercing damage". The teenage boy explained his Spell card's effect as Timebreaker Magician powered up.

Timebreaker Magician ATK Points: 2800 + 300 = 3100.

"Alright! With Determine Shield's effect, Yuya can win this duel!" Zuzu exclaimed in delight as the crowd of children cheered for the Dueltainer. Serenity turned her head left and looked down at Zuzu. "Don't count Rin out just yet". The 16-year-old told the Fairy-Type Duelist, before she went back to watching the duel. Yuya jumped onto Silver Claw's back, before the Beast-Type monster took off. "Time to brawl! Timebreaker Magician, attack!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist commanded his Pendulum Monster. Timebreaker Magician cried out as he took hold of his sword with both hands, before he leaped into the air, holding the sword over his head. The shadowy caged monster on the right disappeared as a face-down card in sideways position appeared right where it was. The face-down card flipped over to reveal it to be Windwitch - Hailing Diamond's card, before it gleamed with the Spellcaster-Type monster rising up from within the glow.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond DEF Points: 800/ ATK Points: 800 + 300 = 1100 + 8000 = 1900/ Level: 4.

Timebreaker Magician fell towards and sliced his sword down on Hailing Diamond, slicing her into two. The Spellcaster-Type monster exploded, causing Rin to wince and flinch from the shockwaves created from the explosion. (3100 - 800 = 2300)

Rin Life Points: 3900 - 2300 = 1600.

"Don't think you're out of the frying pan just yet! When a monster equipped to Determine Shield destroys an opponent's monster, it can attack again!" Yuya explained his Equip Spell's second effect as Timebreaker Magician turned to look at the second shadowy caged monster. The creature disappeared as a face-down monster in sideways position appeared right where it was. The face-down card flipped over to reveal it to be Windwitch - Winter Bell's card, before it gleamed with the Spellcaster-Type monster rising up from within the glow.

Windwitch - Winter Bell DEF Points: 2000/ ATK Points: 2400 + 300 = 2700/ Level: 7.

"Before you get too ahead of yourself, I'll play the Action Spell that I picked up earlier. The Action Spell, Miracle!" Rin called out as she slotted her Action card into her Duel Disk, before a larger version of the card appeared in front of her over the tree branch. "Miracle protects Winter Bell from destruction and cuts the damage in half". She explained the Spell card's effect as Timebreaker Magician swung his sword at Winter Bell, who swung her right blade at him. Both monsters' blades clashed together, creating a shockwave with one another, before they broke their struggle and backed away. (3100 - 2000 = 1100 - 550 = 550)

Rin Life Points: 1600 - 550 = 1050.

Yuya gave a scoff, before he looked forward and widened his eyes. Up ahead, he saw an Action card stuck to the trunk of a tree up ahead. "An Action card!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist exclaimed in delight, before Silver Claw ran faster than before. Yuya grabbed the card with his right hand as Silver Claw ran pass it. The teenage boy looked at what Action card he got, before he grew a massive grin at what it was. "Sweet! I play the Action Spell, Wonder Chance!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out, holding up the Action Spell as the card released a white light. "This card grants Timebreaker Magician another attack!" He explained the card's effect as he sent it to the Graveyard Zone of his Duel Disk.

Zuzu's smile grew larger upon hearing this. "Alright. With this, Yuya wins!" She exclaimed in joy for her childhood friend, believing that victory was his now. In the control room, Allie grew a little worried upon seeing Yuya about to obtain victory. "Oh no. If this attack goes through, Rin will lose". She said in concern for her fellow Synchro user, getting Lulu to look down and smile at her. "Don't worry about Rin. She still has a chance". The Mistress of Birds reassured her friend, getting Allie to look up at her for a moment, before going back to watching the duel.

"Timebreaker Magician, attack Windwitch - Winter Bell again!" Yuya commanded his Pendulum Monster, making Timebreaker Magician cry out as he leaped into the air above Winter Bell, holding his sword over his head. Rin didn't look threatened however, in fact, she had a grin on her face. "This is just the moment I've been waiting for!" The Witch of the Wind exclaimed, before thrusting her right hand forward. "I play the Trap card, Windwitch Family Huddle Up!" She called out as her face-down card appeared in front of her, before flipping itself up. The card's image showed Windwitch - Freeze Bell, Ice Bell and Glass Bell in a group hug with Goyo Guarding closing in to attack them.

"Not good!" Yuya stated with wide eyes of surprise, getting Rin to laugh. "You can say that again, my tomato hair friend. When a face-up DEF Position "Windwitch" monsters I control is targeted for an attack, this Trap allows me to Special Summon 2 different Windwitches from my Graveyard". The teenage girl explained her Trap card's effect, holding her left arm up up, before her Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone released a bright flash.

Both Windwitch - Hailing Diamond and Glass Bell's cards slotted out of the Duel Disk, before Rin picked them up and held the two cards up. "I select Windwitch - Hailing Diamond and Windwitch - Glass Bell!" Rin declared her choice, before swiping the two cards on her Duel Disk's blade in side-way positions. Two portals appeared, before Hailing Diamond and Glass Bell flew out of them.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond DEF Points: 800/ ATK Points: 800 + 300 = 1100 + 8000 = 1900/ Level: 4.

Windwitch - Glass Bell DEF Points: 1500/ ATK Points: 1500 + 300 = 1800 + 800 = 2600/ Level: 4.

"And here comes the best part! Until the End Phase of this turn, all my Windwitch monsters gains DEF Points equal to all of my other witches!" The Witch of the Wind added as her three monsters powered up.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond DEF Points: 800 + 1500 = 2300 + 2000 = 4300.

Windwitch - Glass Bell DEF Points: 1500 + 800 = 2300 + 2000 = 4300.

Windwitch - Winter Bell DEF Points: 2000 + 800 = 2800 + 1500 = 4300.

"Whoa! They all have 4300 DEF Points!" A young female exclaimed in shock from the audience, staring at the three Windwitch monsters in awe. The other children started at the three monsters in awe as well upon seeing the high DEF Points, while Zuzu snapped her right hand's fingers. "I could use Glass Bell and Magicial Forest's effects, but that won't be necessary". Rin said with a small smile as she placed her right leg over her left leg. Yuya narrowed his eyes, before he looked up towards the air-born Timebreaker Magician falling towards Winter Bell. "Timebreaker, stop your attack!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out to his monster, getting Timebreaker to widen his eyes, before he leaped away, abandoning his attack.

Yuya slightly gritted his teeth as Silver Claw continued to run across the forest with the rest of his monsters and Pendulum Monsters following his lead. "I'll throw a face-down..." Yuya began as he slotted a card into his Duel Disk, before a face-down card appeared besides him on his right. "Then switch Longphone Bull to DEF Mode to end my turn". He declared his turn over as Longphone Bull took a defensive stance.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamon DEF Points: 4300 - 1500 = 2800 - 2000 = 800.

Windwitch - Glass Bell DEF Points: 4300 - 800 = 3500 - 2000 = 1500.

Winter Bell flew in front of Rin with her back blade right underneath her duelist, which the Witch of the Wind jumped off of the tree branch and landed on the blade. With her passenger on board, Winter Bell flew after Yuya and his monsters, closely followed by her fellow Windwitches. "So close to winning on one single turn, yet so far away now. You had your chance to mess around with me, and now's it time to pay in full, so I'm gonna take you down piece by piece". Rin said as she placed her right hand on her Duel Disk's deck and drew the card in a less dramatic fashion, before turning her head right to look at it.

Rin exclaimed with narrowed eyes, turning the card over to reveal the Spell card, before a typhoon came out of it, creating powerful winds that forced Yuya to protect his eyes with his right forearm. "This Spell destroys your Star Pendulumgraph Spell!" She explained her Spell card's effect as Star Pendulumgraph's card shattered into sparkles, making Yuya grit his teeth. "With your Spell gone, your Spellcasters are open to my Spells and Monster effects". The Witch of the Wind stated as she discarded her Spell card to her Graveyard Zone, before a blizzard storm came out of that zone of her Duel Disk.

"I now play Windwitch - Renew Caster's special ability from the Graveyard!" She declared, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise once more. "Another effect from the Graveyard!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out in surprise, which Rin nodded to him as she held her hands out as if she was riding a surf board. "That's right. Just like with Synchro Transmission, I remove this card from play..." She began as she took Renew Caster's card and placed it away in her jacket's pocket.

"Then I select a monster on the field that's ATK Points are different to its original, and return them back to normal". She concluded, getting Yuya to widen his eyes in alarm as he looked at Timebreaker Magician. "Looks like you got a good idea on who's the unlucky target. Sorry Timebreaker, but say good-bye to your extra ATK Points". Rin said as the blizzard storm surrounded Timebreaker Magician like a cocoon. After a few moments, the blizzard storm died down to reveal Timebreaker Magician completely shivering, hugging himself even with his sword still in hand.

Timebreaker Magician ATK Points: 3100 - 1700 = 1400.

"Oh boy. That's not good for Yuya". Skip remarked with slightly wide eyes, realizing that Yuya was in trouble now. Serenity gave a small smile at seeing the tables turn around, taking note that a duel was never over until the last card was played. Rin gave a wink with her right eye, before holding her right hand out. "I'll switch my three witches into ATK Mode..." She began as Hailing Diamond, Glass Bell and Winter Bell broke out of their defensive stances and freely flew through the air.

"Let them have it! First, Glass Bell attacks Timestar Magician!" Rin commanded, pointing towards the Xyz Monster with her right hand's index finger. Glass Bell cried out happily as her whole body gleamed icy blue, before she charged forward and tackled Timestar Magician, causing the Xyz Monster to shatter. (2600 - 2400 = 200)

Yuya Life Points: 3400 - 200 = 3200.

"Next up, Hailing Frost, ice that wolf!" Rin further commanded as she now pointed towards Silver Claw. Hailing Frost gave a cry, before generating and firing icicles at Silver Claw. Yuya leaped off of his monster's back and into the air, right before the icicles struck the Beast-Type monster and created a mini explosion. (1900 - 1800 = 100)

Yuya Life Points: 3200 - 100 = 3100.

Yuya back flipped in mid-air, before he landed on the ground and slide against it for a moment, eventually stopping. "And now the best part of my turn! Windwitch - Winter Bell, attack Timebreaker Magician!" Rin command her ace monster with an excited voice. The Synchro Monster obeyed her duelist, before generating and firing icicles at the Pendulum Monster, creating an explosion upon impact. The force of the explosion sent Yuya sliding across the ground a bit, before he stopped and dropped to his right knee. (3500 - 1400 = 2100)

Yuya Life Points: 3100 - 2100 = 1000.

Windwitch - Winter Bell, Hailing Diamond and Glass Bell all stopped in front of Yuya and floated above him as Longphone Bull, Guitartle and Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer backed him up. "How the tables turn. Now, all you got left defending you is Performapal Longphone Bull". Rin said with a smirk on her face, getting Yuya to tilt his head up and smirked at her. "Not exactly". The Odd-Eyes Duelist replied as he stood up fully on his feet, getting Rin to raise an eyebrow at him. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Illusion Balloons!" Yuya called out, thrusting his right hand out as his face-down card appeared besides him, before flipping itself up.

"For every one of my monsters that were destroyed, I draw a card from my deck. Then I can Special Summon the highest Level Performapal Monster I drew and return the rest to my deck". Yuya explained his Spell card's effect, before he held up his right hand towards his deck, ready to draw. "Since 3 monsters I controlled were destroyed, I can draw 3 cards". He told his opponent, getting Rin to raise an eyebrow. 'So, he's now resorting to luck, just like how Yugo would sometimes'. Rin thought to herself, before growing a small sad smile upon thinking of her close friend. Yuya drew his top 3 cards and swiped his right hand out to the side. He looked through the corner of his right eye and flipped the cards over to see what they were.

The three cards were Performapal Kuribohble, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and Performapal Whip Snake. Yuya grew a smile upon seeing the third card, much like when Yusei when he drew the card that he needed. "Just what I needed". The teenager stated, before he held up Whip Snake's card with his thumb, index and middle fingers, while he held the other two cards down with his ring and pinky fingers. "I Summon the Level 4 Performapal Whip Snake!" Yuya called out, before slamming the card onto his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared on the ground, before Whip Snake floated out of it and cried out in greeting.

Rin gave a whistle as Yuya returned the two cards to his deck, before it started shuffling. "Not bad. Looks like you're pretty lucky yourself. I got nothing left to do, so I'll end my turn". The Witch of the Wind declared her turn over, before Winter Bell flew onward with Hailing Diamond and Glass Bell chasing after her.

"My turn now! I draw!" Yuya called out as he placed his hand on his deck, before he drew the top card of his deck and looked at it. Yuya then thrust his right hand into the air, holding the card with his right hand. "Swing far, pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, to swing into action!" The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created a portal from the circle that it was drawing, before 3 lights shot out of it. "From my Extra Deck, Performapal Silver Claw and Timebreaker Magician...!" He began as two of the lights cleared to reveal Silver Claw and Timebreaker Magician in defensive stances. "...And from my hand, Timegazer Magician!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist added as the second light cleared to reveal Timegazer Magician in a defensive stance as well.

Performapal Silver Claw DEF Points: 700/ Level: 4.

All the kids watching the duel gave out excited cries upon seeing this move, including Frederick. "Yay, he Pendulum Summoned again!" The young boy called out in joy, while Allie frowned in concern. "But they're all in DEF Mode". She pointed out, getting Yusei to turn towards her, keeping his arms crossed. "That may be true, but look at their Levels". Satellite's Shooting Star told the young girl, getting Allie to look at him in confusion for a moment, before she looked back at the field. She looked at Yuya's monsters closely, and widened them eyes in realization. "Yuya's monsters are all Level 4 and 3!" Allie exclaimed in realization, getting Lulu to nod down at her, while Gong had his arms crossed.

Yuya added his new card to his hand, before swiping his right hand into the air. "I Overlay Level 4 Performapal Longphone Bull, Silver Claw and Whip Snake!" The Dueltainer declared as his three monsters turned into bright lights, their colours representing their attributes, before they all ascended into the air. They danced in the sky as a black portal appeared on the ground in front of Yuya. "With these three monsters, I build the Overlay Network!" Yuya exclaimed as the three lights all descended into the portal, causing an explosion of energy.

"Appear! Rank 4! Performapal Barrel Gator!" Yuya called out to the heavens as the new monster jumped out of the portal and landed in the middle of the field. It was a green skinned anthro gator wearing a weight-lifters red unitard with a thick black belt at the waist, lugging a huge barrel over his right shoulder akin to Donkey Kong. He's also got small wooden barrel gauntlets around his forearms. And for the final touch, he's also got a pair of star shaped shades. There were three blue overlay units circling around the gator as it let out a howl, revealing its sharp teeth.

"Not bad, but I'm not really that intimidated". Rin told her opponent, getting him to grin at her. "You will be in a moment. I activate Barrel Gator's special ability!" Yuya called out, swiping his right hand out to the side. Barrel Gator absorbed an overlay unit into its barrel, before chucking the barrel into the air. Once high in the air, the barrel split apart and caused a bright flash that forced everyone to cover their eyes. Once the light died down, everyone opened their eyes, before they all widened them in surprise.

All the monsters on the field were trapped inside different sized barrels, except for Barrel Gator, who was carrying a new a new barrel over his shoulder. Rin's monsters remained floating with Winter Bell and Hailing Diamond's blades sticking out of it. Timegazer Magician, Timebreaker Magician and Glass Bell's heads were sticking out of their barrel's top and they all had wide eyes. "Hey! What's the big idea?!" Rin questioned as she back flipped off of Winter' Bell's back blade and landed on the ground. "Barrel Gator's effect, that's what! By using an Overlay Unit, all monsters on the field gains a Barrel Counter!" Yuya told his opponent, explaining his Xyz Monster's effect to her.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond counters: 0 + 1 = 1.

Windwitch - Winter Bell counters: 0 + 1 = 1.

Timebreaker Magician counters: 0 + 1 = 1.

"And here's the best part. For every counter on the field, all your monsters loses 200 ATK Points!" Yuya called out, getting Rin to widen her eyes in surprise, before she narrowed them. "There's a total of six counters. Times that by 200 and the total is 1200 points". Rin calculated as her monsters powered down.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond ATK Points: 1900 - 1200 = 700.

Windwitch - Glass Bell ATK Points: 2600 - 1200 = 1400.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 3500 - 1200 = 2300.

"Way to go! Now Yuya can win this duel just by attacking Hailing Diamond!" Zuzu exclaimed in delight, getting Rin to smirk as she had heard her. "Not just yet!" The Witch of the Wind remarked, before taking a single card from her hand and held it up, revealing it to be Windwitch - Snow Angel Bell. "I play my Snow Angel Bell's effect! By discarding this card..." She began to explain as she discarded her card to the Graveyard Zone, before an icy blue aura surrounded both her and Winter Bell. "I can select one Windwitch monster I control, like Winter Bell, and gain 300 Life Points times its Level! And since my ace is Level 7, that's 2100 points!" Rin explained her card's effect as Winter Bell's aura transferred over to hers, increasing Rin's Life Points.

Rin Life Points: 1050 + 2100 = 3150.

"Well drat". Yuya said with slightly wide eyes, before he looked down at his Extra Deck was inside of his Duel Disk. 'I could Xyz Summon Traveling Ghost Bat to deal more attacks and damage, but that would get rid of 2 counters and restore 400 points to her monsters. The total damage of just attacking with Barrel Gator will be 2100 if I attack Hailing Diamond. But attacking both Hailing Diamond and Glass Bell will be 2600. Guess I know which option to take'. Yuya thought with a growing smirk, before holding his right hand out. "Here comes a second Xyz Summon! I overlay both Timegazer Magician and Timebreaker Magician The Dueltainer declared as his two monsters transformed into two purple lights, before they ascended into the air.

Another black portal appeared in the sky above with the two lights flying inside of it, causing an explosion of energy. "I Xyz Summon! Rank 3! Performapal Traveling Ghost Bat!" Yuya called out to the heavens as Traveling Ghost Bat flew out of the portal with 2 purple overlay units circling around it.

Performapal Traveling Ghost Bat ATK Points: 2100/ Rank: 3/ Overlay units: 2.

Windwitch - Hailing Diamond ATK Points: 700 + 400 = 1100.

"Time to brawl! Barrel Gator, take a chump out of Hailing Diamond!" Yuya commanded his monster, pointing towards Hailing Diamond with his right hand's index finger. Barrel Gator gave out a roar, before he charged forward and tore through Hailing Diamond and her barrel, causing the Spellcaster Monster to explode and push Rin back a few feet. (2800 - 1100 = 1700)

Rin Life Points: 3150 - 1700 = 1450.

Windwitch - Glass Bell ATK Points: 1800 + 200 = 2000 - 800 = 1200.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2700 + 200 = 2900 - 800 = 2100.

"There goes Hailing Diamond's powering up effect". Rin remarked with narrowed eyes, while Yuya had a confident smirk on his face. "I'm not finished just yet. Traveling Ghost Bat, attack Windwitch Glass Bell!" Yuya commanded his second Xyz Monster. Traveling Ghost Bat gave out a cry, before it glowed black and multiplied into thousands of little versions of itself. The swarm of ghost bats all flew down towards Glass Bell and covered her completely for a few moments, before an explosion appeared from within, pushing Rin across the ground further. (2100 - 1200 = 900)

Rin Life Points: 1450 - 900 = 550.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2100 + 200 = 2300.

"I've done a lot for this turn, I think it is only fair that I end my turn here. But before that, I'll set 2 face-down cards". Yuya said as he held up the last two cards in his hand, before slotting them into his Duel Disk. 2 face-down card appeared in front of Yuya, before he turned around and began running off with his two Xyz Monsters chasing after him.

"I'm not out of this duel just yet. I draw!" Rin called out as she drew her card and looked at it. She slightly widen her eyes upon seeing the card, before she narrowed them and held the card out. "I play the Spell card De-Synchro!" The Witch of the Wind called out, before slotting it into her Duel Didsk, getting Yuya to blink in confusion as he continued to run.

"Interesting move". Yusei commented, getting Allie and Frederick to look at him in confusion. "What do you mean?" The red haired girl asked the Synchro Duelist, getting Gong to look towards her. "De-Synchro is a card that returns a Synchro Monster to its owner's Extra Deck, then Special Summons the monsters used to Synchro Summon it back to the field". Gong explained for Yuya, getting Frederick to tilt his head in confusion. "So, Rin will get 2 new monsters?" The young child questioned, making Yusei shook his head sideways as he unfolded his arms. "That's where you're wrong. The user needs all the Synchro Materials in the Graveyard for that to work. Rin returned Piercing Bell back to her Extra Deck earlier, meaning she can't Summon anything from the Graveyard". Yusei told him as Windwitch - Winter Bell disappeared from the field and Rin returned her ace monster's card to the Extra Deck.

"So, then why play the card?" Allie questioned in a confused voice, getting Lulu to smile down at her as she placed her hands on Allie's shoulders. "There are two reasons. One was to remove a Barrel counter on the field, leaving just one left. The second was to leave her field empty". Lulu explained to the younger girl, getting Allie to look up at her in confusion. "But why leave her field empty?" She questioned, getting Lulu to place her right hand on Allie's head and stroke her hair. "It was for her only card in her hand". The Mistress of Birds answered, before both she and Allie turned back towards the duel.

"Since my field is now empty, I can now Special Summon the Windwitch - Black Ice Bell from my hand!" Rin called out as she took the last card in her hand and placed it on her Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared besides her, before Windwitch - Black Ice Bell flew out of it atop her broom.

Windwitch - Black Ice Bell ATK Points: 1300 - 200 = 1100 + 300 = 1400/ Level: 3.

"Then you take 500 points of damage!" Rin added as Black Ice Bell fired a black ice beam from her wand towards the running Yuya, who jumped to the left to dodge.

Yuya Life Points: 1000 - 500 = 500.

Yuya landed in a frontal roll, before stopping on his right knee and looked towards his opponent. "Now I play Magical Forest's ability! Since I Special Summon Black Ice Bell, I can add another Windwitch that is Level 3!" Rin exclaimed as her deck started shuffling for a moment, before suddenly stopping with a single card slotted out. Rin picked the card up with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before she held it up and showed that it was Windwitch - Ice Bell. "I choose Ice Bell, and then play her!" She called out, before placing the card on her Duel Disk's blade. Another portal appeared besides her, before Windwitch - Ice Bell flew out of it with a smile.

"Oh boy". Yuya said with slightly narrowed eyes, knowing full well what Ice Bell can do. "I activate Ice Bell's ability! Once a turn if she was Normal, or Special Summoned, you take 500 points of damage!" Rin called out as she held her right hand out towards Yuya. Ice Bell turned to look at her duelist's opponent, before holding her wand out and fired an icy blue beam towards Yuya. "Watch out Yuya!" Zuzu called out in concern as she and the rest of the children looked worried for the Dueltainer. "I activate the Trap card, Damage Polarizer!" Yuya called out as he thrust his right hand out towards Rin, before one of his face-down cards flipped itself up.

"When an effect that would deal me damage is activated, this Trap reduces the damage to 0...!" Yuya explained his Trap card's effect as a white barrier formed around himself. The ice beam struck the barrier, but soon died down, leaving Yuya unharmed. "Then, we both draw a card". He finished, before both he and Rin drew the top cards of their decks. They both looked at their new cards, before adding them to their empty hands.

"Guess I'll have to go with option number 2 then. First, I play Black Ice Bell's special ability! Once a turn, she cuts your monster's ATK and DEF Points in half!" Rin called out, before she reared her right hand in, then swiped it out and pointed towards Traveling Ghost Bat. "Kiss good-bye to half of your bat's ATK and DEF Points!" She exclaimed as Black Ice Bell pointed her wand towards Traveling Ghost Bat, before unleashing a black icy beam at it. The beam struck, but did no harm to the Xyz Monster, instead began slowly encasing it in ice.

Performapal Traveling Ghost Bat ATK Points: 2100 - 1050 = 1050/ DEF Points: 500 - 250 = 250.

"Nice move, but your monster isn't strong enough to win this duel". Yuya said to his opponent, getting Rin to smirk at him. "Whoever said I was done?" The Witch of the Wind questioned her opponent, before swiping her right hand into the air. "I Overlay Level 3 Windwitch - Black Ice Bell and Ice Bell!" Rin declared as her two witches transformed into two bright green lights that ascended into the air. "Not good". The Odd-Eyes Duelist commented as he took a step back, before a black portal appeared in the sky. "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network!" The teenage girl exclaimed as the two lights flew into the portal, causing an explosion of energy.

"I Xyz Summon! Rank 3! Windwitch - Chaos Bell!" Rin called out to the heavens as her new monster flew out of the portal. It was a 17-year-old female with light skin, long dark hair with a black witch hat, wearing a black witch dress. She was riding atop a black broom and carried a black wand with her right hand. She possesses beautiful violet eyes, was both barefooted and barehanded. Finally, she wore an ice necklace around her neck. Two green overlay units circled around her as Chaos Bell flew atop her broom.

The children all cried out in excitement upon seeing the new Xyz Monster, while Lulu just gave a sort smile at seeing the monster she gave to her sister. "You're in trouble now! I activate Chaos Bell's special ability!" Rin called out with a confident voice. Chaos Bell absorbed an overlay unit into her wand, causing a green flash, before pointing it up towards the sky. She fired a black beam into the sky, before it quickly disappeared, only to be replaced by a sudden black blizzard storm. Yuya gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes from the sudden blizzard storm, while Rin wasn't bothered by it.

"By using an overlay unit, she returns one of your monsters to your hand!" She explained her Xyz Monster's effect to her opponent, before she gave a wink towards Barrel Gator. "Sorry gator, but it's time for you to swim back home". Rin joked as the black blizzard storm completely surrounded the Xyz Monster, covering it from view. The snow storm soon cleared to reveal Barrel Gator was gone. "With Barrel Gator gone, my Chaos Bell regains her points". Rin stated as her Xyz Monster powered up a little.

Windwitch - Chaos Bell ATK Points: 2300 + 200 = 2500.

"With that taken care of, time to take care of your bat!" Rin said as she turned her sights on Performapal Traveling Ghost Bat. "Before that, I activate the Trap card, Last Minute Cancel!" Yuya called out as his last face-down card flipped itself over, before releasing a small light. "This Trap switches all my monsters into DEF Mode...!" Yuya began to explain as his Xyz Monster shifted into a defensive stance.

Performapal Traveling Ghost Bat DEF Points: 250.

"Then all Performapal monsters destroyed this turn return to my hand instead of going to the Graveyard!" Yuya finished explaining his Trap's effect, getting Rin to let out an impressed whistle. "Looks like you get another turn. But the least I can do is not leave you with that blood sucking bat. Chaos Bell, attack that bat!" Rin commanded as she reared her right hand back, before thrusting it out and pointed towards Traveling Ghost Bat with her index finger. Chaos Bell gave out a cry, before pointing her index finger out and fired a black beam at Traveling Ghost Bat. The beam made contact and instantly trapped the Zombie-Type monster in ice, but quickly shattered into pieces.

"With just one card in my hand, my potions are limited. But, I'll just throw a face-down and call it a turn". Rin said, picking up her single card and slotted it into her Duel Disk. A face-down card appeared in front of Rin, before it quickly disappeared as Chaos Bell flew down next to Rin. The Witch of the Wind jumped onto the broom behind Chaos Bell, before the Xyz Monster took off.

Yuya Life Points: 500/ Number of cards in hand: 1.

"Wow, this duel has been intense". A random boy from the crowd of children stated, getting a girl next to him to nod. "Yeah. I knew that Yuya was strong, but I didn't expect the Witch of the Wind to push him this hard". She said in agreement, before all the children began to comment on the intense duel that they were watching. Zuzu watched with a hint of envy in her eyes from watching the back-to-back duel, and the fact that she couldn't give that to her childhood friend. Unlike the rest of the students of the You Show Duel School, she refused to learn Synchro, or Xyz Summoning from Yusei, Lulu or Rin. She was being petty, she knew that, but she hated the changes Yuya has gone through thanks to the three. But most of all, she hated the fact that Yuya had a crush on Lulu and not on her.

Serenity and Skip looked down at Zuzu in concern as they could see the envy in her eyes. Skip had believed that his daughter would have been happy with everything that had happened since Yusei, Lulu and Rin entered their lives, but instead she had grown to hate it. It worried him greatly as he hoped that Zuzu, Rin and Lulu could be great friends, but she refused to befriend them. Serenity had been attempting to befriend Zuzu as well, but she refused due to Serenity's relationship with Yusei, much to her displeasure.

Yuya placed his right hand on the top card of his deck, his eyes focused on the flying away Witch of the Wind. "It's my turn now! I draw!" The Dueltainer cried out as he drew his card and swiped his right hand out to the side. He brought the card in front of himself to see what it was, before holding it out. "I play the Spell card, Odd-Eyes Draw!" Yuya called out as the Spell card released a small light, before he picked up his second card. "By sending an "Odd-Eyes" monster, like my Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon..." He began to explain as he held up the second card in front of Odd-Eyes Draw's card, before sending them both to the Graveyard. "...I'm allowed to draw 3 new cards". Yuya concluded as he drew the top 3 cards of hid deck and looked at them.

Yuya gave a smile at seeing the new cards, before he added them to his hand, and then thrusted his right hand into the air. "Swing far, pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, to swing into action!" The Dueltainer called out as the giant pendant created another portal from the circle that it was drawing, before 2 bright lights shot out of it. "From my hand, Performapal Dag Daggerman and Performapal Gold Fang!" Yuya exclaimed as the two lights cleared to reveal Performapal Dag Daggerman and Gold Fang floating down in front of him.

Performapal Dag Daggerman ATK Points: 2000/ Level: 5.

Performapal Gold Fang ATK Points: 1800/ Level: 4.

"At this moment, I activate both Gold Fang and Pendulum Sorcerer's special abilities!" Yuya declared as a golden light emerged from Gold Fang, while a light blue light rained down on the two Pendulum Monsters from Pendulum Sorcerer. "First, Gold Fang powers up my Performapal Monsters by 200 ATK Points..." He began to explain as his two monsters powered up.

Performapal Dag Daggerman ATK Points: 2000 + 200 = 2200.

Performapal Gold Fang ATK Points: 1800 + 200 = 2000.

"Now Pendulum Sorcerer's effect! When a Performapal Monster is Pendulum Summon, all "Performapal" monsters gains 1000 ATK Points!" Yuya finished as his monsters powered up once more.

Performapal Dag Daggerman ATK Points: 2200 + 1000 = 3200.

Performapal Gold Fang ATK Points: 2000 + 1000 = 3000.

Rin looked over her left shoulder and gave a whistle. "Not bad, but that won't win you the duel. I play Chaos Bell's special ability again". Rin declared as Chaos Bell turned her broom around to face the two Performapal monsters. She held up her wand as her last overlay unit was absorbed into it, causing a green flash, before pointing it up towards the sky. She fired a black beam into the sky, before it quickly disappeared, only to be replaced by a sudden black blizzard storm. "Say good-bye to Dag Daggerman!" The Witch of the Wind called out as the black blizzard storm completely surrounded the Xyz Monster, covering it from view. The snow storm soon cleared to reveal Performapal Dag Daggerman was gone.

Yuya picked up Dag Daggerman's card from the blade and placed it back in his hand. "It may be true that I won't win this round, but I can still deal damage to you! Gold Fang, pounce on that witch!" Yuya commanded his Pendulum Monster, making Gold Fang snarl, before leaping towards Chaos Bell. Rin quickly jumped off of her monster's broom, before Gold Fang knocked Chaos Bell off of her broom and sent her crashing onto the ground, where she shattered upon making impact. (3000 - 2500 = 500)

Rin Life Points: 550- 500 = 50.

'So close. Just one attack away'. Yuya thought to himself with a small smirk as Gold Fang returned to his side. Rin landed on her feet in a perfect landing, before she turned her head right to look at Yuya and gave him a small smile. "My Chaos Bell might be out of the game, but she leaves a small parting gift. When she is destroyed, I can add the monsters used to Xyz Summon it, back to my hand". Rin said as Black Ice Bell and Ice Bell's cards slotted out of her Duel Disk's Graveyard zone, before she picked them up and added them to her hand.

'Not good. With Black Ice Bell, she can end this duel on her next turn. I better set up a defense and fast!' Yuya exclaimed in his head, before he picked up a card from his hand and slotted it into his Duel Disk. "I'll set a face-down card and end my turn! And at this moment, both Gold Fang and Pendulum Sorcerer's effects end!" Yuya declared his turn over as a face-down card appeared in front of him, before he climbed onto Gold Fang's back.

Performapal Gold Fang ATK Points: 3000 - 1000 = 2000 - 200 = 1800.

Rin Life Points: 50/ Number of cards in hand: 2.

Gold Fang took off and ran past Rin, who looked over her right shoulder to watch Yuya ride away. "My turn now! I draw!" Rin called out as she turned around and placed her right hand on her deck. She drew her card in a normal fashion and held it in front of her. She stared at the card for a moment, before adding the card to her hand. "Since my field is now empty, I can now Special Summon the Windwitch - Black Ice Bell from my hand!" Rin called out as she took a card from her hand and placed it on her Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared besides her, before Windwitch - Black Ice Bell flew out of it atop her broom.

Windwitch - Black Ice Bell ATK Points: 1300 + 300 = 1700/ Level: 3.

"Then you take 500 points of damage!" Rin added as Black Ice Bell fired a black ice beam from her want towards the back of Yuya, who was still riding on Gold Fang's back. "Not this time! I play Rainbow Life!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out as his face-down card appeared behind him, before it flipped up. Black Ice Bell's beam struck the card, but wasn't able to push through on to Yuya. "By discarding a card from my hand, this Trap negates all damage this turn, and then increases my Life Points by the amount that I would have taken". Yuya explained his Trap card's effect as he discarded Dag Daggerman's card, before both Rainbow Life's card and Black Ice Bell's beam turned into yellow sparkles that rained down on him.

Yuya Life Points: 500 + 500 = 1000.

"Good counter, especially with using the card that I sent back to your hand, but that wasn't my only move". Rin stated, before she picked up another card from her hand and held it up. "I Summon Windwitch - Ice Bell!" She called out, before placing the card on her Duel Disk's blade. Another portal appeared besides her, before Windwitch - Ice Bell flew out of it with a smile.

Windwitch - Ice Bell ATK Points: 1000 + 300 = 1300/ Level: 3.

"Even if I use Ice Bell's effect, that'll just increase your Life Points even more. Instead, I'll play this! The Spell card, Sacred Winds!" Rin called out as she held up the last card in her hand, before slotting it into her Duel Disk. Sacred Wind's card appeared in front of Rin, before both it, Black Ice Bell and Ice Beam glowed green. "For every WIND Monster on the field, I draw one card! Since there's 2, I draw 2 more cards!" She explained her Spell card's effect as the green glow died down, before she drew the top 2 cards of her deck . She added them to her hand, before holding up her Duel Disk. "Now I play Sacred Wind's second effect". She declared as a green light erupted out of her Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone.

"By removing this card from play, I can add a WIND Attribute monster from my grave to my hand". She explained her Trap's effect as a card slotted out of the Graveyard Zone with the light dying down. Rin picked the card up, revealing it to be Windwitch - Snow Bell. "I add Windwitch - Snow Bell. Now, since I control 2 Windwitches, I can Special Summon her!" Rin called out as she threw the card onto her Duel Disk's blade. A flash of white light appeared, before it cleared to reveal Windwitch - Snow Bell.

Windwitch - Snow Bell ATK Points: 100 + 300 = 400/ Level: 1.

"Now, Level 1 Snow Bell Tunes with Level 3 Black Ice Bell and Ice Bell!" The Witch of the Wind called out as both Black Ice Bell and Ice Bell flew into the air, while Snow Bell transformed into a green ring that chased after the two Spellcasters. The single green ring circled around both Black Ice Bell and Ice Bell, causing the two Spellcasters' bodies to turn orange transparent. "I'm Summoning a Monster that will hit you with all the power of a wicked wintertime blizzard! I Synchro Summon Windwitch - Winter Bell!" Rin chanted as the bodies of the two witches dispersed to reveal 6 bright stars that lined up in the green rings, before a beam appeared and consumed them all. Her ace monster, Windwitch - Winter Bell flew out of the beam and gave out a cry as she floated in the air.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2400 + 300 = 2700/ Level: 7.

"Alright! Now Rin can attack Gold Fang!" Frederick called out in excitement, getting Gong to look down at him with narrowed eyes. "All that'll do is increase Yuya's Life Points, no benefit for her". The Superheavy Samurai Duelist told the young boy, getting Frederick to grow a look of realization. "That's right, she can't!" The young boy exclaimed, while Yusei narrowed his eyes. "Rainbow Life. Its effects lasts for the whole turn. All damage will increase Yuya's Life Points". The Synchro Duelist said with a serious tone, while Lulu held her chin with her right hand. "Even if she destroys Gold Fang, Yuya could just Pendulum Summon it next turn". The purple haired girl pointed out, getting Allie to grow a worried look.

Rin picked up her two cards in her hand and held up to the left side of her face. "I'll throw these down and end my turn!" The Witch of the Wind called out as she swiped the card into her Duel Disk, causing 2 face-down cards to appear besides her first face-down card.

Yuya Life Points: 1000/ Number of cards in hand: 0.

"I draw!" Yuya called out as he drew his card with his right hand, still riding atop Gold Fang as it ran through the forest. "Check this out! The Trap, Battle Mania!" Rin called out, swiping her left hand out to the side as her left face-down card flipped open, reveal Battle Mania, before it released a white glow. "This Trap forces all your monsters into ATK Mode, and they cannot change their positions. Here's my favorite part, all your monsters must attack this turn". She explained her Trap card's effect, getting Yuya and the audience to widen their eyes in surprise.

"That's a risky card. Why would Rin have it?" Skip questioned in confusion, wondering why the female Synchro Duelist would have that card. "Who cares. She made a mistake because of that card, she'll lose if Yuya Summons a powerful enough monster to destroy Winter Bell". Zuzu remarked with a slightly joyful look. Serenity had an expression of wonder on her face, watching with great attention.

Yuya looked at his new card and grew a smile upon seeing that it was Monster Reborn. 'Nice. With this card, victory is mine'. The Odd-Eyes Duelist said in his mind, before he held up the Spell card. "I play the magic of Monster Reborn!" He called out, before slotting the card into his Duel Disk. A black portal appeared in the sky above, getting Rin to look up at it. "This Spell card allows me to Summon any Monster in our Graveyards! By Monster Reborn's power, I Summon back from the grave, Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon!" Yuya cried out as his dragon, Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon flew down from the portal and landed on the ground, before releasing a powerful cry.

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon ATK Points: 3000/ Level: 8.

Gong, Allie and Frederick all grew excited upon seeing this, while Yusei and Lulu stayed silent as they watched. Gold Fang then gave his duelist a snarl, getting Yuya's attention as he looked down at the Beast-Type monster's head. Gold Fang looked forward, making the Odd-Eyes Duelist look forward, before he widened his eyes upon seeing an Action card lying in a tree's leaves up ahead. "Nice eye, Gold Fang! Now let's go get that Action card!" Yuya said with a confident smile, getting Gold Fang to cry out as it leaped into the air.

Gold Fang leaped into the tree's leaves for one moment, before emerging from it on the other side with Yuya holding the Action card with his right hand's index and middle fingers. "Got it! I play the Action Spell Double Attack!" The Dueltainer called out as he held the card out, before slotting it into his Duel Disk. Gold Fang landed on the ground on all four feet, before Double Attack appeared in front of it and Yuya. "This Action Spell doubles one of my monster's ATK Points, and I choose Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon!" He explained his Spell card's effect as a purple aura surrounded Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon, powering him up.

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon ATK Points: 3000 x 2 = 6000.

All the children cried out in excitement at seeing the powered-up dragon, while Rin narrowed her eyes at it. "Nice power up, but too bad some of your new points are going! I play the Trap, Synchro Big Tornado!" Rin called out as her second face-down card flipped itself over. "This Trap targets a Synchro Monster I control and one monster you control! Your monster loses ATK Points equal to my Synchro Monster's DEF Points!" She explained as green auras surrounded Winter Bell and Advance Dragon.

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon ATK Points: 6000 - 2000 = 4000.

Yuya narrowed his eyes upon seeing this, before he climbed off of Gold Fang's back. 'What's she planning? All that she has is a face-down card that she played 2 turns ago, but didn't use when Chaos Bell was attacked? Is it not for when a monster she controls is being attack? Or something else? Either way, I can't really wait and find out with Battle Mania. Time to take a chance!' The Odd-Eyes Duelist thought to himself with narrowed eyes, before thrusting his left fist out. "Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon, attack Windwitch - Winter Bell!" Yuya commanded, making Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon cry out, before he unleashed a blackish red beam at Winter Bell.

Rin gave a sigh with her eyes closed, before she reopened them and looked forward. "Nice try Yuya, but too bad. I reveal my last face-down, Synchro Strike!" Rin called out as she held her right hand out as her last face-down card revealed itself. Yuya widened his eyes upon seeing the Trap, before he softened his expression as he realized what this mean.

"Synchro Strike increases the ATK Points of a Synchro Monster on the field by 500 points for every monster used as Synchro Material for its Synchro Summon! Since 3 monsters were used, that's 1500 more points for Winter Bell!" Rin explained her Trap card's effect as three white fire balls shot out of Synchro Strike's card. The fire balls flew around and struck Winter Bell, but didn't do any harm, instead engulf the Synchro Monster in a flaming white aura.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2700 + 1500 = 4200.

Zuzu widened her eyes in concern, before she turned to look up at her father. "Dad? How is Yuya gonna get out of this?" The pink haired female asked her father, getting Skip to shake his head sideways. "I'm afraid he can't. Battle Mania forces all of Yuya's monsters to attack Winter Bell, and he can't end his Battle Phase". The principal of the You Show Duel School told his daughter, getting Zuzu to gasp in concern as she looked back at the duel. "But she's way stronger than Odd-Eyes and Gold Fang". She said in concern for her childhood friend.

"DON'T DO IT! WE BEG YOU!" All the children begged the Witch of the Wind, getting her to chuckle as she held up her right fist. "Sorry! But I play to win! Winter Bell, fight back!" Rin cried out as she thrust her right fist out. Winter Bell cried out as she generated white icicles made of flames, before firing them forward. The flaming icicles tore through the blackish red beam and towards Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon, creating an explosion upon impact. (4200 - 4000 = 200)

Yuya Life Points: 1000 - 200 = 800.

"The last move is yours, Yuya. Your only chance at surviving this would is to get another Double Attack, but I doubt you're that lucky". Rin said as she crossed her arms, before she turned to see the audience and saw all the kids crying anime style. Yuya placed his hands on his hips and gave a defeated sigh. "Well, might as well go out with some style". The Odd-Eyes Duelist said to himself, before pointing towards Windwitch - Winter Bell with his right hand's index finger. "Gold Fang! Take out that witch!" Yuya commanded, making Gold Fang give out one final howl, before leaping into the air.

Gold Fang began falling towards Windwitch - Winter Bell, who looked up towards the falling Beast-Type. "Winter Bell, give one final attack!" Rin told her ace monster with a simple smile, getting the Synchro Monster to cry out, before she generated white flaming icicles. She fired them towards the falling Gold Fang. The icicles made contact and created a white explosion. Yuya gave another sigh as he tilted his head down. (4200 - 1800 = 2400)

Yuya Life Points: 800 - 2400 = 0.

Winner: Rin!

A screen appeared, showing an image of Rin with the words "Win" underneath, before both it and the Action Field dispersed. Windwitch - Winter Bell also dispersed into sparkles as the field returned to normal. Both of Rin and Yuya's Duel Disks deactivated, before the Witch of the Wind placed her hands on her hips. "G.G, man. G.G". Rin told the tomato hair styled boy, getting Yuya to tilt his head up and gave her a small appreciated smile. "Thanks. Back at ya". The Odd-Eyes Dueling replied to his friend, before they walked up to one another and high-fived one another.

All the children had shocked expressions on their faces upon seeing the outcome of the duel, while Zuzu crossed her arms. "Wow. I can't believe he lost". A young boy said in disbelief, while Tate, who was part of the crowd, had wide eyes of shock. "I guess having Pendulum Summoning doesn't mean you're invincible". A 10-year-old girl said with a sad look, having thought that with Pendulum Summoning, Yuya was unbeatable. "Of course it doesn't. There is no such thing as an "invincible" duelist". Skip stated, getting all the kids to turn towards him and saw that he had a serious expression on his face as he looked at Yuya and Rin.

"There may be undefeatable duelists, but there is no such thing as "invincible duelists". In some point, every duelist will lose, no matter what kind of cards they use. Even our best duelist, Yusei Fudo, lost a few duels in the past, but learned from his defeats and grew stronger". He told the children without turning tp face them as he crossed his arms. He had at once thought Yusei as an invincible duelist as well, before Yusei told him that he was not. He told him that even he had been defeated in the past a few times, but had learned to accept his defeats and learn from them. Skip learned a great deal from Yusei and from his modesty.

All the kids had shocked looks at hearing Skip' words, while Serenity looked a little surprised that even Yusei lost a duel before. Zuzu, on the other hand, felt her hopes grow upon hearing Yusei wasn't undefeatable. 'Maybe...just maybe I can beat him'. She thought to herself, before she grew a confident smile on her face. The door to the Dueling arena opened, before both Yuya and Rin walked out of it, having a conversation with one another. Upon seeing them, all the kids ran over and surrounded the two duelists. "That was amazing!" The same 10-year-old girl said to Rin with a look of awe, getting the Witch of the Wind to grow a small smile at her.

"So Yuya, when will we get our own Pendulum cards and learn how to Pendulum Summon?" A random boy asked the Odd-Eyes Duelist, getting Yuya to look down at him with a straight face. Yuya opened his mouth to answer, but someone else beat him to it. "We can't teach Pendulum Summoning". A familiar voice answered the child, getting everyone's attention as they looked to see Yusei, Lulu, Gong, Allie and Frederick walk into the hallway from the corner with the speaker being Satellite's Shooting Star.

"Pendulum Summoning was created today, and Yuya possess perhaps the only Pendulum cards in his deck so far. We still don't know everything about it just yet, so we can't teach what we don't know". Yusei added, getting Yuya to grow a serious expression, before he looked down at the children surrounding him. "My teacher is right. I may be Pendulum Summoning's creator, but I still have much to learn about it. I'm sorry, but I can't teach you guys Pendulum Summoning, or give you Pendulum cards yet". Yuya told the young children, getting them all to cry out in disappointment.

Rin, upon seeing their looks of disappointment, decided to give them some hope. "Hey, they said "yet". That means that someday we'll have more Pendulum cards and be able to teach Pendulum Summoning. You all just need to wait patiently". The Witch of the Wind told the children with a soft tone, getting some of them to grow hopeful smiles. "She's right. Until then, we can't teach you what you want. You're still welcome to join our Duel School though". Skip told the children, although he had a good feeling that any of them would still want to join.

He was proven right as all the kids began to leave the Duel School, having no reason to join now. However, only one of them stayed. It was Tate, getting everyone to look down at him in surprise. "You're that kid that watched mine and Gong's duel this morning". Yuya said as he recognized him, getting Tate to look up at him and nod. "What's your name?" Rin asked with a curious voice, getting Tate to turn his attention over to her. "It's Tate, miss". The blue haired boy answered the Synchro Duelist, getting Rin to smile down at him. "Is there any reason you're still here? We were serious when we told everyone that we couldn't teach Pendulum Summon". Skip asked in a curious voice, grabbing the young boy's attention

"I'm not here because I want to learn Pendulum Summoning. I wanted to join this school". Tate answered Skips, much to everyone's surprise at hearing his answer. "You do? But why?" Lulu asked the young boy, getting him to turn towards her. "It's because of Yuya". The blue haired child answered, something that made Yuya slightly widen his eyes in surprise. "Because of me?" He questioned the young boy, which Tate nodded towards him. "You were amazing in your duels, Yuya. When you were dueling, it was like magic. You and your monsters put thousands of fans together. I want to do the same thing someday. I'll learn to duel just like you". Tate explained to the Odd-Eyes Duelist, getting everyone to smile at him and Yuya.

Yuya had grown his own smile at hearing Tate's words as he could sense that he was telling the truth. Yuya walked up to Tate, before he knelt down and placed his right hand on Tate's shoulder. "If that is what you want, then you're more than welcome to join You Show". The Dueltainer told the young boy, getting Tate to grow a happy smile on his face. Everyone watched with smiles as Yuya stood up on his feet fully, before he turned to look at Lulu, who gave him a small, sweet smile.

Serenity, who had been silent for this whole time, walked up next to Yusei on his left and leaned in close to him. "Yuya is growing up, isn't he?" The teenage girl asked her crush, getting him to nod with a small smile. "He is. He's growing up fast, both as a duelist, and as a person. Even losing now doesn't lower his morale". Satellite's Shooting Star answered her with a slightly proud voice, getting Serenity to smile at him. She then tapped Yusei's left shoulder with her right hand, getting him to look at her. "I...finally decided to become a duelist, and I want your help learning a specific Summoning". Serenity told her crush, getting him lightly confused by both her words and whispering.

"What is it that you want to learn from me?" Yusei questioned the 16-year-old female, getting her to smile at him. "I want to learn how to Fusion Summon". Serenity answered, getting Yusei to slightly widen his eyes in surprise and in alarm. Serenity noticed the alarm in his eyes and quickly sought to calm him down. "You can teach me in secret. I remember what you said about Lulu's problem with Fusion Summoning". She told him, getting Yusei to calm down as his eyes returned to normal, before he looked at her through the corner of his left eye.

"Why Fusion Summoning?" He questioned her, wanting to know why she wanted to learn that Summoning and not Synchro, or Xyz. "To be honest, I don't know. Synchro and Xyz are both amazing, but Fusion Summoning was my favorite. Please teach me". Serenity requested from her crush. Yusei turned his head left to look at her and saw the deep desire in her eyes to learn Fusion Summoning. He gave a small sigh, before he nodded to her, giving his answer. Serenity grew an excited look on her face, but kept her emotions in check. "Thank you". She whispered to him in thanks, grateful that he'll teach her.

Yusei gave her a nod, before he looked back at the group as everyone welcomed Tate into You Show. 'Times are changing, for best, or for worse. I wonder what else lies before us in the future. I do know this, we won't face it alone, but together'. Yusei thought to himself with a smile, wondering what the future held for them all.

Five trials of cards started to line up in a row, before shining in a flash of light to reveal Paradise City. Yusei was standing in the city with his jacket blowing in the breeze. Yusei started walking through Paradise City, before holding up his right arm as his Duel Disk activated.

"What are you grasping for?"

"What good will it do you"

Yusei stood, looking off to the far left with various cards floating around him in a blue color.

"We're moving forward and we'll make sure to discover what"

"Never-ending sentiments"

Yuya appeared, holding a card in his right hand, before looking off to the right with his own trail of cards floating beside him in a red color.

"We got busted up and we learned"

Cards appeared, before they cleared to reveal Yusei's face with his left side coloured black and white as flashes of previous Duels were reflected in his left side. A bright light appeared before it showed Yusei standing in an empty hallway, with the walls and floor made up of his various cards. The walls were made of cards such as Sonic Chick, Quilbolt Hedgehog, Speed Warrior and Junk Synchron. On the floor were Yusei's signature cards, Junk Warrior, Nitro Warrior, Lightning Warrior, Jet Warrior, Stardust Charge Warrior and Turbo Warrior.

"I'll search through the dreams in my hand"

"and one day I'll lead them all to you"

In a dark garage, Yusei started up his Duel Runner as his Duel Disk activated, before he placed his helmet on. The garage door opened and Yusei shot out aboard his Duel Runner. Yusei rode through the streets of Paradise City, passing through a park, where Lulu, Celina, Rin and Zuzu were. The four girls waved at Yusei as he passed by. Yusei drove through the You Show School, where Ally, Frederick, Tate, Yuya, Gong, Skip and Sora waved at him.

"Shouting the signal for the START"

Yusei drove off a bridge as the crimson energy appeared around his Duel Runner, before it formed crimson wings. Yusei flew past Leo tower, looking straight ahead.

"We'll make a DASH"

Jet Warrior, Lightning Warrior, and Stardust Charge Warrior all appeared and lined up in the sky, before a pillar of light appeared and absorbed them. From the pillar of light came Stardust Dragon, who roared as it flew through the sky.

"Embracing the bonds we so believe in"

"We'll race toward tomorrow"

Stardust Dragon trailed behind his master as they flew through Paradise City, leaving a shinning trail behind. The trail lighted up, before it cleared to reveal Yusei and Yuya standing atop a monolith between the cravings of their dragons, Stardust Dragon and Star-Eyes Savior Dragon, looking at each other.

I'm sure you all noticed the new cards that Yuya and Yusei used, also I took it upon myself to explain Stardust Trail's resemblance to Akiza.
