Hi guys, I told you this chapter wouldn't take as long as the last one. I'm a bit surprised myself because this felt more easier than last chapter. Nothing much really happens in this chapter, but I can promise the Duel between Sylvio and Yuto will be more interesting than in the anime, I hope you all enjoy it. Now, to answer some reviews.

Well, that's all the questions answered for now. Now, onto the chapter. Apologizes if this one isn't as exciting as last chapter, but I did the best with what I had. Enjoy yourselves.
Chapter 11: The days of peace are numbered.
The streets of Paradise City were filled with its residents, all going about their day in peace. No trouble has happened in this peaceful city, but little did the people of this dimensions know that their days of peace were numbered. The Dimensional War was catching up to them and soon, these days will be memory for a good while.
In an alleyway of the city near the Leo Institute's main building, a teenage boy stood with his back nearly pressed against the wall. The boy had dark goggles and a mask, covering his identity completely. His hair is close to a palette swap of Yuya's, black in the back with light purple in the front. Unlike Yuya, whose hair lies flat, his hair sweeps upward and to the right side of his head.
For clothes; he's wearing a punk-style outfit, with a dull green formal shirt, dark blue tie, as well as a black cape-like garment with ripped sleeves and edges plus dark blue pants and black boot-like shoes. He's also wearing a choker and wristbands, his bands are a matching set—black with silver studs. This unknown boy, like Yusei, was wearing a belt with two Deck holsters on each side. He also sports a red scarf tied around his upper right arm that is partially hidden by his sleeve and a larger red scarf around his neck.
This unknown male was staring right at LID's building through his goggles. He then broke away and held up his left hand to stare at a badge he was holding. It was a LID badge, something that students of the Leo Institute get when they join the school. How this guy has one is a mystery right now.
The black and purple-haired male closed his hand over the badge and gripped it hard in anger. He then returned his gaze towards the largest tower of Paradise City with a hidden determined expression. '...Lulu... I'll save you, no matter what. Just hang on a little longer, please'. This boy thought to himself, thinking of the girl he fell in love with and broke the heart of.
This teenage boy wasn't a stranger, he was actually a resident from the Xyz Dimension that's come here to Standard. But he wasn't some random guy, it was Lulu's ex-boyfriend; Yuto, Yuya's Xyz counterpart, the Xyz fragment of Zarc and the owner of Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, one of the Supreme King's four pieces. His arrival here was a sign that these times of peace were beginning to fade, and the war was soon to come for this dimension.
(Meanwhile inside the Leo Institute's tower/ Play Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - An Exciting Duel - OST EXTENDED)
In a random room of the Leo Institute; a duel was going on right now between Sylvio and his friend; Kakimoto. Their other friends; Ootomo and Yamabe were watching from the sidelines as the two practiced against each other. All four males were wearing their school uniforms since they had come straight here from school, thus had no time to change into something more comfortable.
Sylvio and Kakimoto stood 10 feet away from each other, both holding their left arms up with activated Standard Dimension Duel Disks on the forearms. Kakimoto's one was red with an orange blade, nothing really too special about it. Right now; Kakimoto had a single card in his hand with the Ritual Monster; Demise, King of Armageddon on his field as the only monster out.
Sylvio had a single card in hand as well, yet not a single monster or face-down card on his field. In the matter of Life Points; both Sylvio and Kakimoto had 1500 Life Points with it being a tie so far. Yet that was about to change because it was Sylvio's turn now.
Sylvio Life Points: 1500/ Number of cards in hand: 1.
Kakimoto Life Points: 1500/ Number of cards in hand: 1.
Demise, King of Armageddon ATK: 2400/ Level: 8.
Sylvio brought his left arm up to in front of himself, then gazed down at the top card of his deck. "My turn now!" He declared, before taking hold of the top card of his deck. "I draw!" Sylvio exclaimed, drawing the card in a dramatic fashion by throwing his right hand out. Sylvio looked through the corner of his right eye, then held up the card to take a look at what it is.
What he saw made Sylvio grow a confident smirk, before holding the card out. "In order to Summon this monster, I need to banish 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from my Graveyard!" The Ritual Duelist exclaimed, right as Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight's cards slotted out of his Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone. "I banish both Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight from my Graveyard!" Sylvio declared, then turned the card over to reveal it was Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End.
"Now to show yourself! Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End!" Sylvio exclaimed, before swiping his hand over the blade and placing the card down on it. A portal appeared behind Sylvio on the ground, before a glowing dragon emerged from it. Once it has fully emerged, the light glowing dragon released a mighty roar, blowing away the light that covered its form and revealed it is Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End.
Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End ATK: 3000/ Level: 8.
"At this moment, both Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight's special abilities activate! Since they were banished, I can now add a Ritual Monster and one Ritual Spell card from the deck to my hand!" Sylvio explained, right as two cards slotted out of his deck. He took hold of them with his right hand, then held them out to reveal they're the Ritual Monster; Black Luster Soldier and Ritual Spell; Black Luster Ritual.
"And I think I'll use them right away! I activate Black Luster Ritual!" Sylvio declared, right as the Ritual Spell card started gleaming a bright light. "And the monster I use to tribute is Black Luster Solider - Sacred Soldier!" He continued, bringing up the sole card in his left hand and turned it over, revealing it was indeed Black Luster Solider - Sacred Soldier.
The Black Luster Ritual appeared in front of Sylvio, before both pots were set aflame. Then, Black Luster Solider - Sacred Soldier appeared in front of the ritual, right before the flames shot out and wrapped around the Warrior-Type monster, concealing it from view. The ritual then disappeared, before Sylvio held his right hand up into the air in a dramatic style. "Ritual Summon! Appear! Level 8! Black Luster Soldier!" The Ritual Duelist cried out to the heavens, right as the flames cleared to reveal Black Luster Soldier in Black Luster Solider - Sacred Soldier's place, holding both sword and shield up.
Black Luster Soldier ATK: 3000/ Level: 8.
"Time to brawl! Black Luster Soldier, attack Demise, King of Armageddon!" Sylvio commanded, throwing his right hand out with the index finger pointed directly at Kakimoto's Ritual Monster. Black Luster Soldier let out a battle cry, before flying forward to Demise, and then ascended into the air. It then dived down, and...
Slice!
Swung its blade down on Demise, slicing it in half as Black Luster Soldier landed on its knees. The Ritual Monster then leaped away, right before Demise exploded. Kakimoto shielded himself with both arms from the shockwaves that hit him, managing to remain on his feet. (3000 - 2400 = 600)
Kakimoto Life Points: 1500 - 600 = 900.
"I'm not done gust yet! Now Chaos Emperor Dragon, attack directly and end this!" Sylvio commanded the Dragon-Type monster, throwing his right open hand out. Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End opened its mouth and let out a mighty roar at Kakimoto, the force of it blowing him off his feet and crashing down on his back.
Kakimoto Life Points: 900 - 3000 = 0.
Winner: Sylvio!
A screen appeared; displaying an image of Sylvio with the words "Win" underneath, announcing him as the winner. Black Luster Soldier and Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End dispersed in particles, before Sylvio's Duel Disk deactivated.
Yamabe and Ootomo both appeared speechless at Sylvio's victory over Kakimoto. "Nice play". Ootomo remarked, truly amazed with the skills his friend has to pull a win like that. Sylvio cracked a smirk at Ootomo's words and was about to play it cool, but didn't get the chance.
The door's room slide open, catching everyone's attention as they looked and saw Cera enter the room with an unimpressed face. She wasn't wearing her normal outfit and instead, had a school uniform of Paradise Prep School on. It was exactly like how Zuzu's school uniform was, only without a music mark and instead had a tyrannosaurus mark instead.
"The cards were well-played, but you and your deck were out of sync". The Evo Duelist said as if she were stating a fact. Sylvio and his friends all frowned at Cera, but she wasn't done yet. "Your strategy is the same as before. You haven't made a change whatsoever since we dueled against Yuya Sakaki and Lulu Obsidian. You haven't trained at all, have you?" She questioned her peer in the Leo Institute, crossing both arms as she spoke.
"What was that!? I don't need to train, I'm at the top of my game! And what do you mean out of sync with my deck?!" The Ritual Duelist snapped at Cera, which she just continued to stare at him with an unimpressed face. "You may have used different cards, but the moves were the same, like I said". Cera began to explain, then tilted her head to gaze at Kakimoto, just as he was getting back up on his feet.
"If you were in sync with your deck completely, you wouldn't have had trouble against someone like Kakimoto, especially losing 2500 life points". The Evo Duelist continued, much to Kakimoto's displeasure at hearing this. "Hey!" He cried out in protest, yet Cera just ignored him and returned her attention to Sylvio. "Kakimoto is the most unskilled one of your little boyband, and you even had trouble against him". The teenage girl continued on, much to Sylvio's annoyance.
"It's not a boyband! And do you have to be so blunt about it?!" The Ritual Duelist exclaimed, which Cera gave a scoff. "I was raised by my drill sergeant dad, and he never pulled his punches with me! So, I won't pull mine with you lot!" She snapped at Sylvio, getting him to flinch a bit. He and his little band grumbled, making no attempt to force Cera out because she'd kick their assess without trouble.
Cera swiped her left hand out and pointed at Sylvio with the index finger. "I'll admit that you're skilled and know how to use those cards of yours, but that's it. If you keep at it like this, you'll be left behind". The Evo Duelist told Sylvio, much to his anger at hearing this. "Says you! I bet I could take you down without a problem!" He snapped at her, yet she just raised an eyebrow at him. "Is that a challenge? Then bring it on". She said with a smirk, bringing up her left hand and gave the hand sigh "bring it on" at Sylvio.
15 minutes later; an explosion went off in the room, followed by Sylvio getting blasted into the air with a cry. The teenage male cried out as gravity did its things and he came crashing down on the floor on his back.
Sylvio Life Points: 1000 - 2500 = 0.
Winner: Cera!
Standing 10 feet away was Cera, Duel Disk equipped and activated. And floating right behind her was a new Xyz Monster called "Evolzar Lars", a black Dragon-Type Xyz Monster with red eyes. A screen then appeared, displaying an of Cera with the words "Win" underneath, announcing her as the winner. Evolzar Lars dispersed in particles, before Cera's Duel Disk deactivated and she crossed both arms.
To the side; Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo stood with all three of them watching with wide eyes at seeing Sylvio's rather one-sided defeat. Sylvio only managed 1000 points of damage to Cera, but she's managed to completely cut him off on every single move he made. Her new cards were especially helpful.
"Whoa... She's really one tough cookie, isn't she?" Kakimoto said to his friends, eyes stuck on Cera as he spoke. "She is. Why isn't she the top student in the Xyz Course, anyway?" Yamabe asked with a curious voice, certain that Cera was just as good, if not better than the current top student of the Leo Institute's Xyz Course. "From what I've heard, it's because she isn't interested in being the top duelist". Ootomo answered his friend, having heard some rumors about Cera from other Xyz students of their Duel School.
Sylvio groaned in frustration as he sat up from the ground, utterly enraged at how he was defeated so easily using legendary cards. "How? How could I have been defeated so easily using rare cards like the Black Luster Soldier deck?" He questioned, head tilted down and staring at his deck that was still slotted in the Duel Disk. "Rare cards are powerful, but what matters is how a Duelist uses their cards". Cera answered, walking forward and stopped right in front of the down teenage boy.
Sylvio looked up at Cera and saw her staring down at him with a disappointed frown. "Yusei Fudo and Lulu Obsidian are perfect examples of that. They used low Level monsters with low ATK Points to defeat experience Duelists like The Sledgehammer. Yusei's magnificent victory changed this city and even you. But now after reaching this level, you've lost all motivation on getting stronger. The city's still changing and if you don't change that, you'll be left behind". The Evo Duelist told Sylvio with a stern voice, before she turned her back to him and walked away.
Sylvio watched her walk away and out of the room, leaving him with his friends. Sylvio grunted in frustration, right hand turning into a fist to express his frustrations. 'There's no way that she's right! I'm just having an off day, I know it! The next guy I face, I'll completely destroy without a problem!' The Ritual Duelist shouted out in his head, certain that Cera was wrong about him. And he'll prove it in his next duel against whoever challenges him.

"AT THE EDGE OF THE DARKNESS, TEARING APART THE SILENCE."
The sky was dark as ocean waves were rolling off each other, before suddenly three Ancient Gear Reactor Dragons appeared and cut through the water, flying towards Duel Academy. They flew over the court of Duel Academy, where students were lined up, looking up at Aster Phoenix, who was looking down at them from a bench with the Tyler Sisters behind him.
"WHO IS THE ONE WAKING THE EARTH FROM ITS SLEEP?!"
In his office, Jean-Michel Roget was sitting at his desk, toying around with his chess pieces with a smug look on his face as he watched Sector Security arrest a man on a screen.
"BEFORE YOUR EYES ARE WICKED SOULS."
In his throne room, Leo Akaba stood up from his throne with Yuri and Zane Truesdale at his sides. Leo thrust out his right hand to the side at the army of Obelisk Force in front of him, which the army cheered for him and for Duel Academy. Leo turned around to face the Arc-V reactor behind him, where he saw an image of Ray briefly appear.
"THERE'S NOWHERE TO RUN, FACE THEM STRAIGHT ON!"
In the Standard Dimension, standing in front of the Leo Corporation tower was Yuya, Celina, Declan and Zuzu, all with narrowed eyes. They activated their Duel Disks as they summoned their ace monsters, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Saffira, Queen of Dragons, Lunalight Cat Dancer and D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga behind them, before all four monsters fired blasts at the camera.
"SOMEONE TELLS ME TO ERASE MY "WEAKNESS" OR "FEAR"."
In the Synchro Dimension on a Turbo Duel lane, Yugo and Rin rode their separate Duel Runners besides each other, before Arc-v Jack Atlast joined them on his Duel Runner. They all summoned their ace monsters; Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Windwitch – Winter Bell and Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend. The three monsters flew above their Duelists as they continued riding their Duel Runners.
"WE RECONSTRUCT OUR MINDS."
In the Xyz Dimension, Yuto appeared with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon behind him, before they moved aside to reveal Lulu with her ace, Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale. The two moved aside to reveal Shay, who had his arms crossed with his scarf and sunglasses covering his face. His ace, Raidraptor – Rise Falcon appeared behind him, creating a gale that blew Shay's glasses off, revealing his hate filled eyes.
"TIGHTLY HOLD ONTO THAT HAND."
In the middle of a desert field road, Yusei was driving his Duel Runner, before he suddenly spun it around twice, and then stopped in a sideways position. Yusei gave off one of his famous glares at the camera as he held up his right arm, showing his mark of the Crimson Dragon glowing a bright colour.
"BELIEVE IN THE BONDS BETWEEN EACH OTHER."
In a multi-colored background, Yuya, Celina, Zuzu, Declan appeared in different stances stance with their ace monsters behind them. In a green background Yugo, Rin and Jack appeared, riding their Duel Runners with their ace monsters flying above them. In a black background Yuto, Lulu and Shay appeared in combat stances with their ace monsters behind them. The camera changed back to show Yusei hold up a white card with his right hand as a portal appeared behind him. Yusei's ace, Stardust Dragon flew out of the portal and into the air, before giving off a powerful roar.
"AND FIGHT!"
In a gold void, Ray clapped her hands together as if she was praying. Suddenly, the camera passed through her to reveal the Crimson Dragon flying up above, staring right into the camera with a sharp gaze.
"TRANSFORM!"
"SO ALL I CAN DO."
In the Standard Dimension in Paradise City street, Yuri smirked evilly as he activated his Duel Disk before he summon Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. Yuya stood a few feet away from his fusion counterpart with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon besides him, before the two dragons fired breath attacks at each other, creating a bright light.
"AND ALL YOU CAN DO."
The bright light died down to reveal the Xyz Dimension, where Yuto was battling against Zane with the two running across the streets. Both Duelists had their Duel Disks activated as they summoned their ace monsters. Zane summoned Cyber End Dragon, while Yuto summoned Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. Cyber End Dragon fired three separate blasts from its three heads at Dark Rebellion, which the dragon charged with lightning surging through its fangs. Dark Rebellion made contact with Cyber End Dragon's blast attacks, creating a bright light.
"FLAP YOUR WINGS! TRANSFORM."
The light disappeared to reveal the Synchro Dimension, where Sergey and Jack were Turbo Dueling aboard their Duel Runners. Sergey laughed crazily as Earthbound Servant Geo Grasha appeared above him with a dark aura. Jack narrowed his eyes as Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend appeared above him, before the dragon was surrounded in a crimson sphere. The sphere dispersed, creating a bright light.
"CHANGE THAT PIERCING RAGE IN YOUR HEART INTO POWER."
The light cleared to reveal the Fusion Dimension. In Duel Academy's courtyard, both Shay and Lulu were Dueling the Tyler Sisters. Grace and Gloria had Amazoness Pet Liger and Amazoness Empress on their field, while Shay and Lulu had Raidraptor – Rise Falcon and Lyrilusc – Assembled Nightingale on their field. The Obsidian twins held up their right arms as their ace monsters were covered in bright lights.
In Leo Akaba's throne room, the Professor of Duel Academy was dueling his son. Leo had Master Spirit Tech Force - Pendulum Ruler on his field, while Declan had D/D/D Flame King Genghis, Gust King Alexander, Wave King Caesar and Doom King Armageddon on his field. The five monsters fired beams at each other, creating a burst of power.
"TRANSFORM!"
"NOW ALL I CAN DO."
The screen changed to show outside with the sky red as blood, before Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, Supreme King Dark Rebellion, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing and Supreme King Starving Venom all appeared out of nowhere and flew into a formation.
"AND ALL YOU CAN DO."
Darkness suddenly appeared behind the four dragons, before it was blown away to reveal Supreme King Z-ARC glaring at the camera with rage filled eyes.
"SHINE ON! TRANSFORM!"
A black skin Z-arc appeared on the dragon's head, laughing as the dragon unleashed a stream attack from its mouth. Standing at Duel Academy's courtyard facing the direction of Supreme King Z-Arc was Shay, Jack, Declan, Leo, Aster, Zane, Yuya, Yuri, Yugo, Yuto, Rin, Lulu, Zuzu, Celina and the Tyler Sisters with their Duel Disks activated. Supreme King Z-ARC's stream attack struck the ground, creating an explosion that blew them all away. Dust covered everything from view for a second before it cleared to reveal Yusei with his back to the camera, who was holding back the stream attack with his right hand, while his mark of the Crimson Dragon was glowing brightly.
"ON TO THE NEXT STAGE IN EVOLUTION."
The camera zoomed in and spun around to show Satellite's Shooting Star's face as Yusei gritted his teeth, before he thrust his right arm out to the side, dispersing the attack. The camera changed to show the sky, where the Crimson Dragon appeared with a roar, before it transformed into flames that shot out towards the camera.
"TOUCH AND GO!"
The flames transferred over to Yusei, forming armour that looked like the Crimson Dragon over the Signer with even wings and a tail attached. Yusei narrowed his eyes as he spread his wings and took flight towards Supreme King Z-ARC, creating a bright light when he made contact.
When the light cleared, it revealed Yusei, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Rin, Celina, Lulu, Zuzu, Declan, Aster and Shay all back in the Standard Dimension in the stadium. All the Duelists were standing in different styles with Yugo jumping in the air with his right hand thrust out to the sky, while Lulu, Rin and Celina were all around Yusei, who had a soft smile on his face.

The day's entering its afternoon hours with the sun beginning to set. Inside the You Show Duel School's conference room; Yuya, Lulu, Rin, Tate, Frederick and Sora were all seated on the couches around the table with Yusei's suitcase placed on it, opened and revealing all the cards inside.
Yuya was sitting on the left couch on the middle with Lulu seated beside him on his right, while Sora was on Yuya's right. Rin, Tate and Frederick were sitting across them with the Windwitch Duelist sitting down in the middle. Not to mention that Yuya, Lulu and Rin were all wearing their casual outfits, having changed out of their school uniforms earlier in the day to be more comfortable.
They had finished with their Duel School's training course not too long ago and now, they were just relaxing with Yuya going over the cards in Yusei's suitcase for any Fusion support cards with Sora helping him. And speaking of Satellite's Shooting Star, he's already left the Duel School with Serenity to drop her off at home and to do some grocery shopping. And Skip has already gone home, having something to take care of there. Gong didn't come over today, too busy at his father's Duel School. And as for Zuzu and Allie, they went out earlier to get some ice cream after their rather intense workout.
So, these six were the only ones here at the Duel School currently, just relaxing and waiting for Yuzu and Allie to get back with their ice cream. Yuya was holding five cards with his right hand, and a single one with his left one, paying no attention to everyone watching him. Instead, the Odd-Eyes Duelist's focus was on the card he's holding with his left hand. It is a Spell card called "Fusion Deployment", a support Fusion card for most Fusion users, but not him.
'Normally, this card would be great help for Fusion Duelists, but not me. My Fusion Monster doesn't require a mentioned monster for its Summon. Meaning that this card isn't any good for me'. Yuya thought to himself, then turned his gaze over to the five cards he's holding with the right hand. They were Fusion cards as well; the two on the left were Fusion Recovery, Future Fusion and the two on the right were Dragon's Mirror and De-Fusion. All four were good cards, but it was the third card that had Yuya's attention.
The Quick-Play Spell card; Super Polymerization.
It was a powerful card that Yuya's never heard of before. Not only were its effects unique, but it could work for his deck. Out of all the cards he's seen so far, this was the best one. Yuya quickly hid it in his hand so that Sora wouldn't notice because he's certain he'll go crazy for a powerful card like that. He'll add it to his deck once the coast is clear. But for now, he'll just continue going through the Fusion cards in Yusei's briefcase.
"So? Find anything interesting, Yuya?" Sora asked with a curious voice, both arms folded behind his head as he leaned back a bit. Yuya turned to look at the younger male, then gave a slightly nervous smile. "I-I found some Fusion cards that are interesting, but none of them have clicked for me just yet". The Odd-Eyes Duelist answered, trying to sound normal as he speaks. He didn't want to give away the card he found to be the perfect card for his Fusions, away.
"Really? I thought you'd find some by now. Well, when you're done with the one you've already found, let me check them out. Maybe there's a good few I could use". Sora said with a grin, interested to see the Fusion cards that Satellite's Shooting Star keeps in his briefcase.
Lulu slightly widen her eyes in alarm at Sora's words, yet remained silent. With Sora staying here as a student of the You Show Duel School, it was a bit hard for her and Rin to act normal like before since they know the truth about him. Yusei was managing somehow to act normal around Sora, yet it was proving to be a bit challenging for the sisters. For now, all she can do is act natural and hopefully keep Sora from learning as much as possible.
The Mistress of Birds placed her left arm on Yuya's right forearm, grabbing his attention. He turned to look at Lulu and saw her smiling nervously. "Actually, we should just stop going through these cards after you're done with them them. We're technically going through Yusei's stuff without asking him, after all". Lulu suggested to the Odd-Eyes Duelist, hoping that Yuya will agree with her on this. Yusei has given everyone permission long ago that they could go through his briefcase in search of cards they need in the future, but Sora didn't know that and hopefully, he won't take any of the cards inside it.
Yuya gave the purple-haired girl a confused look, but before he could speak, Rin beat him to it. "Lulu's right, we shouldn't be going through Yusei's things. Besides, he said that only us can go through the cards here. Sora's new here, so that doesn't mean he's free to go through this stuff". The Witch of the Wind stated, gesturing to Sora with her right hand.
Sora grumbled at her, while Yuya blinked in realization. Yusei trusted them with going through his stuff, but Sora was a new member and thus, didn't have Yusei's trust just yet. The Odd-Eyes Duelist turned to Sora and gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry Sora, but the girls are right. Yusei's fine with us going through all of this, but I think he's gonna be a little ticked off if he learns you went through his stuff". The Odd-Eyes Duelist told his new friend, much to Sora's grumbling annoyance.
Yuya put Fusion Recovery, Fusion Deployment, Future Fusion, Dragon's Mirror and De-Fusion away in the briefcase, then closed it, all the while managing to keep Super Polymerization hidden. "Hey? When are Zuzu and Allie gonna get back?" Tate asked with a curious voice, grabbing everyone's attention. "Yeah. I'm craving for ice cream". Frederick groaned out, wrapping both arms around his own stomach right as it let out a loud grumbling sound.
"They have been out for a while now. Do you think something happened to them?" Rin asked, turning to look directly at Yuya. The Odd-Eyes Duelist shrugged his shoulders, then turned to Lulu. "I'm sure they're fine. Just taking their time without rushing". The Mistress of Birds said with a soft voice, certain that their friends were doing all right out there.
Yuya gave a nod to Lulu. He was certain that Zuzu and Allie were alright out there because one; Zuzu was a skilled Duelist and two; she had that dreaded fan of hers that could give anyone the smack down. He's experienced that himself in the past, and it hurt. So, if anyone tried anything with her, they'll be sorry.
(With Zuzu and Allie/ Play Overlord Season 3 - Sisters OST -)
Zuzu and Allie were walking down by the riverside next to a blue bridge of the city. The Melodious Duelist was carrying a white bag full of ice cream for them and the others at their Duel School. "Oh man, I can't believe how intense the training course is now compared to 3 months ago. It's five times more intense". Zuzu remarked, then winced at feeling her side sting a bit from sore muscles.
Allie nodded with a nervous smile, mentally agreeing with her on that. Thanks to some help from Yusei, the training course has intensified greatly and working better than ever. But much to the dread of her, Zuzu, Allie and Tate, it leaves them all exhausted and sore. The only exceptions were Yuya, Lulu, Rin and Sora since they were somehow able to keep up and not lose their breath at the intense training.
Zuzu was kinda sore about it because it showed that Lulu and Rin were more fit than her. Still though, the drawbacks were very good for everyone since they're getting faster, stronger and more aware than how they used to be. Just like the old saying, "No pain, no game".
Just then; both females overheard a conversation up ahead. Zuzu and Allie looked up at the road above to see Ootomo and Yamabe with both of them carrying a white bag and a Chinese box. Allie gasped, but quickly placed both hands over her mouth to not alert them. Zuzu narrowed her eyes at the two, recognizing them as two of Sylvio's friends.
Yuya and the others had told her what happened, and how Sylvio tried to steal Yuya's Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician, but thankfully a girl named Cera stopped him and helped them. Still, that didn't change the fact that Sylvio tried to steal cards from her childhood friend. One thing she's learned from Yusei is that a Duelist's deck was their treasure and that nobody should ever steal even a single card. So, to hear someone tried to steal, from Yuya especially, ticked her off.
So, she remained quiet and listened in on their conversation. "Do you really think Cera's right and that Sylvio's been slacking off?" Ootomo asked Yamabe with a curious voice, honestly disturbed with what Cera said to Sylvio earlier in the day. "Don't be ridiculous! He's just been unlucky lately, that's all!" The green-haired boy snapped at his friend, then faced forward with an arrogant smirk.
"Next time, he'll destroy Yuya Sakaki! That guy only won because he had his girlfriend helping him, so there's no way he'll win against Sylvio on his own!" Yamabe exclaimed with a confident voice, certain that Sylvio was a better duelist than Yuya. "I hope you're right. Who am I kidding? Of course, Sylvio's better, and he's gonna prove that tomorrow!" Ootomo exclaimed with a smirk, getting a laugh from his friend.
"That's what I like to hear! Next time Sylvio will win against Yuya Sakaki, and we'll make sure of it!" Yamabe cried out cheerfully, immediately catching Zuzu's full attention at what he said. "It isn't gonna be pretty for Yuya, it'll be devastating!" Ootomo laughed out with Yamabe joining him. Their laughter quickly died down and was replaced with dread. "Of course, it could get pretty devastating for us too if we're any later to delivering Sylvio's launch". The brown-haired male said in a nervous tone, before both he and his friend took off in a run.
Allie had a horrified face at hearing what they're planning to do to Yuya. Zuzu, on the other hand, had a determined face. She looked down at Allie, then spoke. "Allie..." She began, catching the red-haired girl's attention as she looked over to the older female. She handed the grocery bag over to a confused Allie, who stared down at it in confusion. "Get back to You Show, I'll handle this". The Melodious Duelist told her friend, much to Allie's shock at hearing this.
"But Zuzu, Sylvio's tough! He plays using a deck of Black Luster Soldier and his friends are gonna be there with him!" The red-haired girl said in great concern for Zuzu, remembering how difficult an opponent Sylvio was for Yuya and Lulu. Zuzu turned to face the direction that Sylvio's two lackeys took off in with a determined face, ready to face legendary monsters.
"I know. But still, I have to do this". The pink-haired teenager stated, before she lowered her head in shame. "I... I've been nothing but a jerk to Yusei, Lulu and Rin ever since they came into our lives. I even started treating Yuya like a stranger and didn't listen to anyone. All I cared about was how Yuya was changing because of them, and that he was growing so close to Lulu". Zuzu explained to Allie, bringing up her right hand and stared at it.
She turned it into a fist, clenching it in determination. "That's why I want to make things right with them. And if that means facing 4 guys on my own, then I'll do it!" She exclaimed, lifting her head up show the resolve in her eyes. Allie stared at Zuzu in awe, the older girl's words resonating with her as if they were words from a hero.
Zuzu turned her gaze over to Allie, then gave a reassuring smile. "I'll be fine. You just head on back to the others and tell them what's happening". The Melodious Duelist told Allie, turning around to face her and got down on her right knee. "I can handle Sylvio. I haven't slacked off at all these last 2 months. I've learned a few new tricks that you haven't seen yet". She added, then gave a wink with her left eye.
Allie smiled at the older female, then nodded to her. "Okay. Be careful and kick Sylvio's butt!" The red-haired female cried out, throwing her right fist into the air. Zuzu giggled, right as Allie turned to her right and took off running to the You Show Duel School to inform Yuya and the others what happened.
Zuzu watched her go for 5 seconds, before she turned in the direction that Ootomo and Yamabe took off in. Zuzu climbed back up on her feet and turned around. She took a deep breath, then breathed out to let out all her doubts. The teenage girl then ran down the street, headed in the same direction that Sylvio's friends took off in.
(At the harbor of Paradise City)
At the city's harbor; Yuto stood atop one of the warehouse's roofs, staring directly at the Leo Institute's tower once more. He paid no mind to what's going on down below on the streets, like the fact that Ootomo and Yamabe walked up to one of the warehouses and opened it. "Hey Sylvio, sorry we're late! It won't happen again!" Ootomo apologized, staring directly at the middle of the room.
Sylvio was sitting down on a couch in a rather arrogant way with a table in front of him. On the other side was Kakimoto, sitting down on a small box with a frown. "Let us make it up to you! How about we feed you? Maybe chew your food for you?" Yamabe offered, walking up to the table with Ootomo right behind him.
Outside the warehouse; Zuzu stood with her back against a few boxes, listening in on the conversation going on inside. The pink-haired female narrowed her eyes, thinking back to what happened on that day she dueled Yusei. 'I should have been there to help. If it wasn't for that Cera girl, Lulu, Allie, Tate and Frederick could have been in danger. I know everything worked out, but I can't help feeling responsible. That's why I'm gonna make it up to them and handle this on my own'. The Melodious Duelist thought, bringing up her right fist to express her determination.
Zuzu ran out from behind the boxes and up to the warehouse. But her loud footsteps caught Yuto's attention, due to his sharp hearing thanks to his experience on the battlefield. He turned around and saw Zuzu in front of the warehouse, then widen both eyes behind the goggles at seeing her. "No way...! Lulu?!" He stuttered out, feeling both great relief and incredible shame at seeing Zuzu, mistaking her for Lulu.
The relief he was feeling was because Yuto thought that Lulu was safe and far away from Duel Academy. Guilt because of his greatest mistake that broke Lulu's heart, trust and faith in him. Yuto wanted nothing more than to go back to that day and save his sister from her fate and change what happened between him and Lulu. But he was no fool, nothing could change the past. They can only live with the present.
'I can't change what happened, but I can change what will happen'. The Xyz fragment of the Supreme King thought, then brought up his right arm with an Xyz Dimension Duel Disk in hand with the cloak opening up a little. Yuto brought his Duel Disk and equipped it to the left forearm. The Xyz Duelist held up his deck, then slotted it into the device's deck zone.
Back inside the warehouse; Sylvio grinned as he held up a pie. He opened his mouth and was just about to take a bite, when all of a sudden, the warehouse door was slammed open. He started coughing because a piece he just managed to eat, got stuck in his throat. Ootomo quickly gave him a bottle of water to help him, while Kakimoto and Yamabe turned to look at their unexpected visitor.
To their surprise; it was Zuzu, but they mistook her for Lulu. "What the!? Lulu Obsidian!?" Kakimoto exclaimed, getting a groan of annoyance from Zuzu at how she was confused for Lulu again. 'Honestly! Is it really that hard to tell us apart? She's got longer hair than me and I do it up in pigtails, while she has it tied up now!' The pink-haired female shouted out in her head, truly annoyed with this old thing.
Thankfully; Yamabe realized that Zuzu wasn't Lulu and corrected his friend. "Nah man, that's not that bird girl. Her name's Zuzu Boyle, she just looks like Lulu Obsidian". The green-haired male told Kakimoto, much to his confusion at hearing this. "Huh? But they look exactly alike. You sure they're not just sisters?" The brown-haired male asked with a confused voice, taking a good look at Zuzu and compared her to Lulu.
Before Yamabe could answer, Sylvio finished drinking his water and let out a loud grunt. He quickly got up on his feet and turned to face Zuzu with an annoyed face. "Hey! What's the big idea coming in here like that!? I almost choked for crying out loud!" The Ritual Duelist snapped at Zuzu, yet she didn't care about that.
"I heard what your lackeys said, about how you're planning to get pay back on Yuya for what happened!" The pink-haired girl exclaimed, taking 10 steps forward into the warehouse with her eyes locked on Sylvio. The Ritual Duelist widen his eyes in alarm, before he turned to look at Ootomo and Yamabe. Both of them were just as surprised at him, having never noticed her or Allie listening in on them earlier.
Sylvio gave a small, mentally exhausted sight, before turning around to face Zuzu. "Okay, yes! I'm planning to get back at Yuya and get his Pendulum cards! Once I do, I'll be-!" He began, only to stop from noticing how Zuzu was staring at him with an annoyed frown. "What?! What is it?!" Sylvio questioned with an irritated voice, wondering why she was staring at him like that for.
"Ummm, Sylvio?" Kakimoto spoke up, catching Sylvio's attention as he turned to look at him. "You got a bit of pie there". The brown-haired man added, pointing to his own right cheek. Sylvio widen his eyes in surprise, then gazed down and indeed saw a bit of crumbs there. Ootomo quickly held a handkerchief for Sylvio to take, which he did with his right hand. He quickly wiped the crumbs away, cleaning his cheek.
Sylvio let out a pleased sigh, then threw the handkerchief into the air dramatically. It quickly fell to the floor, before Ootomo retrieved it and put it away in his pocket. "Anyway, as I was saying-" The Ritual Duelist began, only to be cut off by Zuzu. "I don't care about whatever you were gonna say! I only came here to give you a warning!" Zuzu stated, much to Sylvio's irritation at how she interrupted him.
"Oh yeah?! Well, what is this warning?" Sylvio asked with an annoyed voice, crossing both arms as he spoke. "Whatever it is you're planning to do with Yuya or Lulu, don't even think about it. Or else I'll teach you a lesson personally". Zuzu told the Leo Institute student, before she held up her Duel Disk with the right hand. Sylvio gave a chuckle at seeing this, then fully turned to face her.
"You're threatening to beat me in a duel? You can't be serious, right? I have a deck of the legendary Black Luster Soldier, there's no way you can defeat me". Sylvio said with an arrogant voice, sweeping his hair back with the right hand like he was a celebrity. "I know. But from what I've heard and seen so far, you let that fact get to your head". Zuzu said with both eyes narrowed dangerously, catching the Ritual Duelist by surprise at what she said.
"Beg your pardon?" Sylvio questioned, wondering what she meant by that. "You're flaunting around the fact you have a deck of legendary monsters, but that's it. One of the lessons I've learned is that it isn't the cards that makes a Duelist great, it's how you use them. And with how you tried to steal Yuya's cards, you're not a true duelist". Zuzu answered, much to Sylvio's great rage at hearing this.
"You got some nerve saying that! All anyone needs to do to be a Duelist is have a deck and Duel Disk! That's all it takes, nothing else!" Sylvio snapped at Zuzu, which she gave a sigh of disappointment. "How Yuya ever struggled against you is a mystery to me. I'll show you what it means to be a real Duelist". The pink-haired female said, holding up her left forearm and placed her Duel Disk on.
Sylvio let out a scoff at her words, before he brought out his Duel Disk and placed it on his left forearm. "You're welcome to try, but this is gonna end with you down on the ground, defeated". The Ritual Duelist said with a confident voice, before he walked around and stopped 10 feet away from Zuzu. Kakimoto walked over to the warehouse's doors and closed it, but Zuzu didn't pay it any attention. Her only focus was on Sylvio right now.
Sylvio gave an arrogant smirk, before holding up his deck of cards with the right hand. "Now, let's see who's really the one the one blowing out hot air". The Ritual Duelist said, before inserting his deck into the Duel Disk. He let go of the deck, which started shuffling right away for a moment or two, before it stopped. "Prepare to feel the wrath of the legendary Black Luster Soldier!" Sylvio exclaimed dramatically, throwing his left hand into the air and then brought it down, holding it out towards Zuzu.
"I'm ready... to kick your butt". The pink-haired female stated, bringing out her deck and held it up. But just as she was about to insert the deck, Kakimoto suddenly cried out in pain, catching everyone's attention. They all turned to look at the entrance and saw something rather unexpected, right as Kakimoto crashed on the ground behind Zuzu.

The warehouse door was opened just a little, and Yuto stood right outside. The Xyz Duelist's goggles and mask hid his face from everyone inside, avoiding causing confusion for them all, at least for now.
Yuto walked inside, his footsteps the only sound in the suddenly quiet warehouse. Once he was 3 feet away from Zuzu, he spoke. "I'll take care of this. Stand back". The black and purple-haired male told Zuzu with a protective voice, right as he walked past and stopped in front of her, now facing Sylvio. "Huh?" The pink-haired female gasped in confusion and surprise at Yuto.
"Hold on! You can't just-!" Zuzu spoke, only to stop when Yuto spoke up. "I have some business of my own with him. Or more exact, with the Leo Institute". The black and purple-haired male said, staring right at Sylvio's badge on his left collar.
Kakimoto climbed up on his feet, then ran around Yuto and Zuzu over to his friends. "Just showing up all of a sudden, are you supposed to be some kind of knight that has come to save the princess?" Sylvio questioned the Xyz Duelist, his Duel Disk activating with the blade materializing.
Yuto narrowed his eyes at what Sylvio said, then shook his head. "I'm no knight. I've lost every single right to that word". The Xyz fragment of Z-arc told Sylvio, much to his confusion at what he said. Before Sylvio could open his mouth to question him on what he meant; Yuto threw out his left arm out, Duel Disk equipped, with the cloak blowing a bit.
Yuto brought his arm to in front of him. The Xyz Dimension Duel Disk activated, right before a black and purple edge blade materialized. The device's screen lit up with the words "Standby" appearing, followed by a yellow line going around the circle shaped screen. The dark background lit up, showing two different fields across each other with the opponent's one having the words "Enemy" on it.
Sylvio and Zuzu frowned at seeing Yuto's Duel Disk, their being their first time at seeing a model like it. "Never seen a Duel Disk like that before. It's different from the one that girl used". The Leo Institute student muttered to himself, then glared at Yuto. "Okay, so I guess you'll be dueling for her then?" Sylvio questioned Z-arc's Xyz fragment piece, much to Zuzu's alarm at hearing this.
"Not a chance! This is my battle to fight! And I fully plan on fighting it!" Zuzu exclaimed with a strong voice, bringing up her left arm again and was just a second away from activating the Duel Disk. However, Yuto stopped her by grabbing hold of Zuzu's arm with his right one. Zuzu turned to look at the Xyz Duelist and saw his right eye through the goggles he's wearing.
"I won't risk you getting hurt ever again". Yuto told Zuzu with unmatched conviction in his voice, not convinced that this girl he's protecting wasn't his ex-girlfriend. Zuzu let out a low gasp because those words Yuto said somehow struck her heart. "Huh?" She uttered, cheeks slightly turning red.
Zuzu lowered her left arm, and Yuto let go at seeing she wasn't gonna argue with him on this. He turned his gaze over to Sylvio and saw the Ritual Duelist smirking with arrogance. "Alrighty then, let's do this Mr. Mystery. But once I win, you gotta remove that mask". Sylvio told Yuto, which he gave no response. Sylvio's right eye twitched at Yuto's lack of words, but kept his cool.
"I'll just go ahead and take your brooding silence as a "yes" then". Sylvio said with a confident voice, bringing his left arm in front of himself. "Now then... Ready or not". He added, right as Zuzu and his friends took a few steps back. "Let's Duel!" The two cried out as they drew the top five cards of their deck, officially starting the duel between them.

Sylvio Life Points: 4000/ Number of cards in hand: 5.
"The first move is mine". Yuto stated, taking the first move of the game. "By all means, go ahead". Sylvio told his opponent with a smug voice, right as Yuto took a single card and held it up. "I'll start off by Summoning The Phantom Knights of Cloven Helm". The Xyz Duelist declared, before placing the card over his Duel Disk's blade.
A portal appeared beside Yuto on his right, right before the monster emerged. It was a silver knight helmet with two floating metal gauntlets, blue flames of some sort coming out from inside of them as if they were spirits possessing these items.
The Phantom Knights of Cloven Helm ATK: 1500/ Level: 4.
"Then I'll end my turn by placing 3 cards face-down". Yuto declared, holding up three cards with the right hand before he inserted them all into his Duel Disk. Three face-down cards materialized on Yuto's field, right behind Cloven Helm.

Sylvio gave a scoff at seeing at seeing Yuto's move, not the least bit impressed. "Is that really the best you can do? It's pretty obvious that you want me to attack, so that you can activate one of those face-down cards. Hate to break it to ya pal, but that was a move of an amateur". Sylvio mocked Yuto for his move, very confident to say that he had this duel in the bag. "Instead of running your mouth off, play your cards". Yuto told the Ritual Duelist with an uninterested voice, much to Sylvio's annoyance.
(Meanwhile at the You Show Duel School)
Back with everyone in the You Show Duel School building, they were all waiting patiently for Zuzu and Allie to return, but were starting to get worried. Yuya was standing up now, going through his deck of cards that he was holding now. Lulu, Rin and Tate were seated on the left couch now, the Mistress of Birds giving her younger peer some dueling advice, while Rin was reading a book that she was holding with both arms. Frederick and Sora were sitting down on the other couch, just relaxing.
They've been waiting for a while, but now there were all starting to get worried since Zuzu and Allie were taking more time than normal to get back from the grocery store. They didn't want to jump to conclusions and assume they've gotten into trouble, so they're just trying to keep their minds from wondering to dark places.
Just as Yuya was tired of waiting and about to speak up; Allie came running out of the hallway and headed straight for Yuya. "Yuya!" She exclaimed, but tripped on her feet and began to fall towards the Odd-Eyes Duelist with a cry, the grocery bag slipping from her arms and sent flying. Thankfully with his quick reflexes, Yuya managed to catch Allie in his arms. And as for the grocery bag; Rin held up her right hand and it safely landed on her palm, all without her looking.
Allie groaned as Yuya helped her back on her feet. "Allie, where have you been? And where's Zuzu?" The Odd-Eyes Duelist asked her with a worried voice, while Rin brought the grocery bag down to her lap and look inside. Allie opened her eyes, tears at the edges, and looked at Yuya in worry. "I had to get to you quick. There's big trouble". She informed Yuya, much to his alarm at hearing this.
What Allie said caught the attention of both Lulu and Rin as they looked over to her and Yuya. "What kind of trouble?" Rin asked, passing the grocery bag over to Frederick, who just managed to catch it with both hands. "Is it why Zuzu isn't with you?" Lulu asked as well, standing up from the couch and turned around to look at Yuya and Allie better.
"She went after Sylvio. She went to duel him to protect you!" Allie cried out literally, much to the surprise and concern of Yuya and Lulu at hearing this. Rin, on the other hand, let out an annoyed sigh. "That chump again?" She questioned, before getting up on her feet and turned around. "I thought he learned his lesson already, but looks like I was wrong. Guess I'm gonna have to discipline him myself". The green-haired girl stated, bringing both hands up and cracked her knuckles.
Everybody shivered at the sounds of Rin's knuckles cracking because they knew full well what that means. She's gonna teach Sylvio alright, but in the most painful way possible. 'Sylvio, you better hope we make it on time before you do something to Zuzu, or else there's no saving you from Rin'. Yuya thought to himself, then gave a gulp because he knows from experience that Rin was 5 times stronger and more brutal than his childhood friend.

Inside the warehouse; Sylvio placed his right hand on top of the top card of his deck. "It's my turn now, and I'll show you how a real Duelist plays! Ha!" Sylvio cried out, drawing the card in a dramatic fashion by throwing his right hand out. He then brought it up to see what he drew, then let out a loud laugh at what he saw. "Hahahaha! Even luck is on my side! Check it out; I activate Harpie's Feather Duster!" The teenage boy called out, holding his card out for Yuto and Zuzu to see.
Zuzu gasped at seeing it, while Yuto gave no reaction whatsoever. Sylvio chuckled as he slotted the card into his Duel Disk, right before a larger copy of it appeared in front of him. "With this Spell card, all of your face-down cards are destroyed instantly. Now that's what I call a masterful move". Sylvio explained with an arrogant grin on his face. "Yeah? Well, I call it you being obvious". Yuto told the Ritual Duelist, getting Sylvio to blink in shock at what he said.
Yuto threw his right hand forward, gesturing to the middle face-down card of his field. "I activate the Trap card; Magic Jammer!" The Xyz Duelist declared, right before the card lifted itself up and gained a dark aura around itself. "With this Trap card; I must discard a card from my hand". Yuto explained Magic Jammer's effect, before holding up the last remaining card in his hand out for Sylvio to see.
"I discard The Phantom Knights of Stained Greaves!" He declared, before discarding it to the Graveyard. Yuto then pointed at Sylvio's Spell card with his right hand's index finger. "Now Magic Jammer, Harpie's Feather Duster!" Yuto exclaimed, right as the dark aura around Magic Jammer's card shot out and engulfed Sylvio's Spell card. In just a moment or two, Harpie's Feather Duster was destroyed.
Sylvio gritted his teeth at seeing right, right as the dark aura and Yuto's Magic Jammer Trap card both disappeared. He turned to face Yuto to speak, only to stop upon noticing something with Yuto's monster, how it was powering up.
The Phantom Knights of Cloven Helm ATK: 1500 + 500 = 2000.
"Hey, why'd your monster's ATK Points go up like that?" Sylvio questioned Yuto with a confused voice, wondering how Cloven Help powered up like that. "Because of his special ability. I sent Stained Greaves to the Grave through Magic Jammer's effect, thus Cloven Helm's effect activated". The Xyz Duelist answered, much to Sylvio's annoyance at hearing this.
Sylvio regrew the arrogant smirk he had a few seconds ago. "Very impressive, but it won't matter in a moment". He stated, before taking a single card from his hand and held it out. "I activate the Ritual Spell; Super Soldier Ritual!" The L.I.D Duelist exclaimed, holding the Ritual card out before slotting it into his Duel Disk.
A ritual seal appeared on the ground below him, followed by two platforms on Slyvio's left and right. Zuzu gasped at seeing this, while Yuto gave no reaction whatsoever. "With this Spell card's power, I can now Ritual Summon any "Black Luster Soldier" Ritual Monster by releasing monsters that's total Levels equal 8". Sylvio explained, before holding up the cards of Gaia, the Midnight Sun and Gaia, the Polar Knight.
"I use Gaia, the Midnight Sun and Gaia, the Polar Knight as tributes for my Ritual Summon!" The brown-haired male declared, before discarding them to the Graveyard. Both Gaia monsters appeared in front of the pillars atop their horses.
The two of them then turned into black and white sparkles, before they went down and entered the Ritual seal underneath. A pillar of black light then shot out of the seal and struck the celling above. "With these two tributes, I Ritual Summon! Level 8! "Come forth; Black Luster Soldier – Super Soldier!" Sylvio cried out to the heavens as the Ritual Monster; Black Luster Soldier – Super Soldier floated out of the pillar of light and glared towards Yuto.

Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all burst into cheers at seeing Sylvio Ritual Summon one of his best monsters on the first time. Zuzu stared at Super Soldier with narrowed eyes, and Yuto still gave no reaction. "But I'm not done just yet! Now I remove the LIGHT Attribute Gaia, the Midnight Sun and DARK Attribute Gaia, the Polar Knight from my Graveyard!" Sylvio declared, right as both monsters reappeared in front of him.
The brown-haired male then held up a card with his right hand's index and middle finger, giving a smirk full of confidence. "In order to Summon this! Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning!" Sylvio declared, flipping the card over and then slammed it down on the Duel Disk's blade.
A black portal appeared behind the Gaia monster, before they turned their horses around and changed into it. The portal flashed brightly for a moment, before it died down to reveal the rare monster, Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. The Warrior-Type monster floated over to beside Super Soldier with both monsters glaring at Yuto and his Cloven Helm.

"Hahahaha! That guy's totally done for now!" Kakimoto laughed out, both hands pressed against his hips. "Yeah! Sylvio's got two powerful monsters on his field with 3000 ATK Points". Yamabe remarked, grinning a sly grin that spelled trouble. "Not only that, but both Black Luster Soldier monsters have good abilities that'll deal more than 4000 points of damage in total". Ootomo said with a smirk, confident that Sylvio has this duel in the bag.
"Now, Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier, attack that helmet!" Sylvio commanded his Ritual Monster, pointing towards Cloven Helm with the right hand's index finger. Super Soldier let out a fierce battle cry, before taking off towards Cloven Helm with the intention of destroying it.
"How simple minded". Yuto remarked, before throwing his right hand out. "I activate the Trap card; Phantom Knights' Wing!" He cried out, right as another one of his face-down cards lifted itself up and began glowing. Super Soldier then brought its blade down on Cloven Helm and strike its head, yet it wasn't destroyed. The clash, however, released a powerful gust of wind that forced everyone, except Yuto, to take a step or two back in surprise. (3000 - 2000 = 1000.)

"What the heck was that!? There's no Action Field activated, so how come that happened?" Sylvio questioned with wide eyes of surprise, wondering how a shockwave like that happened when they weren't Action Dueling. 'He's right, what's going on. Something like that isn't meant to happen in a normal duel like this one'. Zuzu thought to herself, noticing the weird phenomenon as well.
Just then, Sylvio took notice that Yuto's Cloven Helm wasn't destroyed, much to his surprise. "Hey?! How come your monster's still around!?" The brown-haired teenager questioned his opponent, wondering why Yuto's monster wasn't destroyed. "It was thanks to my Trap card's effect! It prevents Cloven Helm's destruction and gives it a 500 ATK Point boost". Yuto explained to Sylvio, right as Cloven Helm powered up.

Phantom Knights' Wing's card then disappeared, yet Yuto wasn't done yet. "Since another Phantom Knights card was sent to the Graveyard, Cloven Helm's ability activates and he gains another 500 points". The black and purple-haired male stated, right as Cloven Helm powered up again.

Sylvio grit his teeth in annoyance, while his friends were surprised at this unexpected turn of events. "Ohhh man, that's crazy". Ootomo remarked with wide eyes, honestly taken back by how Yuto turned the tables. "Sylvio can't attack now, or his Black Luster Soldier will be destroyed as well". Kakimoto said in concern, catching Yamabe's attention, before he turned to look at his friend. "Don't worry about it. Sylvio's still got this under control". The green-haired boy stated, then turned back to watching the duel.
"Very impressive, you stopped my range of attacks. But it won't matter in a moment, I activate Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning's special ability!" Sylvio exclaimed, throwing his right hand out. Envoy of the Beginning held its shield up, pointing it at Yuto's only monster. "Since this monster hasn't attacked yet and by giving up its attack, I can banish your helm, so say goodbye!" The brown-haired boy exclaimed with a grin, right as his monster fired a gold beam from its shield.
The beam struck Cloven Helm, and the Phantom Knight burst into black sparkles. Wordlessly, Yuto took his monster's card and put it away in his cloak. "Now you have no monsters left on your field! I'll cut you a break and end my turn here". Sylvio declared his turn over, speaking with an arrogant voice.

"I draw!" Yuto exclaimed, drawing the top card of his deck in a dramatic fashion. He brought the card up to see what it was, before holding it out. "I activate the Spell card; Pot of Greed!" The Xyz Duelist declared, right as the Spell card gleamed brightly. "This card allows me to draw 2 new cards from my deck". He explained the Spell card's effect, before discarding it and drew two more cards.
Yuto held up the two cards and spared them a glance. He pressed the second one down against his palm and held the other one out. "I Summon The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves!" He cried out, then placed the card down on his Duel Disk's blade. A portal appeared on Yuto's left, before The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves emerged from within in.

"Then I'll activate my Trap card; The Phantom Knights of Tomb Shield!" Yuto declared, right as his final face-down card flipped itself over and began gleaming a bright light. "This Trap Summons itself as a Level 3 Normal monster". He explained his Trap card's effect, right as the Tomb Shield appeared beside Ragged Gloves.

"So, you got two monsters on your field now. So, what?" Sylvio said with an unimpressed voice, waving his right hand over his right hand. "Uhhh, Sylvio?" Yamabe said nervously, catching Sylvio's attention. He turned to look at his friends and saw them all staring at Yuto's field with nervous expressions. "That guy's monsters are both Level 3 monsters". Kakimoto told the Ritual Duelist, much to his confusion at what he's getting at. "Meaning he can Xyz Summon". Ootomo told Sylvio, now filling him with dread at realizing at what they were warning him about.
Sylvio turned his gaze back to Yuto, who threw his right hand up into the air. "I overlay the Level 3 Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves and Tomb Shield!" The Xyz Duelist cried out to the heavens, right as both monsters transformed into two bright darkish purple lights. They ascended into the air and danced around one another.
"Souls of knights who fell on the battlefield. Revive here and now, and become the light that breaks the darkness! Xyz Summon! Appear! Rank 3! Phantom Knights of Break Sword!" Yuto chanted as a black galaxy-like portal appeared on the ground in front of him, followed by both black lights descending into it. Lightning came out of the Xyz portal, before the Xyz Monster; The Phantom Knights of Break Sword with two darkish purple overlay units circling around it, emerged from within it.

Break Sword crashed down on the ground in front of Yuto, kicking up a bit of dust. Despite the rather intimidating Xyz Monster facing him; Sylvio gave a scoff at Break Sword. "Nice monster you got there, but I'm not impressed. It isn't a match for my monsters". The brown-haired teenager said with a confident grin, not intimidated by Break Sword.
"You have much to learn about Xyz Monsters. Allow me to demonstrate. When Ragged Gloves is used as Xyz Material for a Dark Xyz Monster, it gains 1000 ATK Points until the end of this turn". Yuto informed Sylvio, right as a dark aura appeared over Break Sword and powered it up.

Sylvio broke into a nervous sweat at seeing Break Sword's current ATK Points, but Yuto wasn't done just yet. "Now, I activate the Field-Spell; Xyz Territory!" Yuto exclaimed, holding the Spell card up before inserting it into his Duel Disk. A large copy of Xyz Territory's card appeared on Yuto's field, before he threw his right hand out. "Now Break Sword, attack Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier!" Z-arc's Xyz fragment commanded the Warrior-Type Xyz Monster, much to everyone's surprise at hearing this.
Break Sword's undead horse cried out, before it took off charging towards Sylvio's Super Soldier. "You must really be out of your mind! Both of our monsters will be destroyed and I'll have a clear shot at you next turn!" Sylvio exclaimed with wide eyes, truly taken back by Yuto's play. "That's where you're wrong. Xyz Territory's effect activates!" Yuto exclaimed, right as an orange aura appeared over Break Sword.
"During the damage step when Xyz Monsters fight, Xyz Territory increases the ATK and DEF Points of those monsters by their Rank by 200! My Break Sword is Rank 3, so he gains 600 ATK and DEF Points!" Yuto explained his Field-Spell card's effect, Break Sword letting out a fierce cry as it powered up.

"3-3600 ATK Points?!" Sylvio stuttered with a nervous drop of sweat, right as Break Sword's sword tore right through Super Solder. The Ritual Monster exploded with the shockwaves hitting Sylvio head on, pushing him back by 3 feet. (3600 - 3000 = 600.)

The Phantom Knights of Break Sword ATK: 3600 - 600 = 3000/ DEF Points: 1600 - 600 = 1000.
With its job done, Break Sword leaped into the air and crashed down in front of its master, the horse's glowing eyes glaring right at Sylvio. "My turn is over. Make your move". Yuto told the Ritual Duelist, not move left to make.

Sylvio growled in rage as he glared at Yuto, before placing his right hand on the top card. "Nice move, but I'm gonna pay you back for that! I draw!" He cried out, drawing in a dramatic fashion before bringing the card to his face. Sylvio raised an eyebrow at seeing it was his Half or Nothing Trap. He then turned to look at the other card in his hand, which was the Ritual Spell; Super Soldier Synthesis.
Giving a small nod of the head, Sylvio added the new card to his hand. He then turned his gaze over to Yuto's Break Sword and then pointed at it with his left hand's index finger. "Go Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning! Attack that Xyz Monster and destroy it!" Sylvio commanded his monster, an order that Envoy of the Beginning obeyed as it charged forward to Break Sword. And once again, Break Sword powered up due to Xyz Territory's effect.
The Phantom Knights of Break Sword ATK: 2000 + 600 = 2600/ DEF Points: 1000 + 600 = 1600.
Yet despite the power up, Break Sword was no match for Black Luster Soldier as it sliced the Xyz Monster into two. Yuto quickly stepped in front of Zuzu, much to her confusion, before Break Sword exploded. The shockwaves hit Yuto, yet he didn't move a single inch and protected Zuzu. (3000 - 2600 = 400)

"At this moment, Break Sword's special ability activates!" Yuto declared, taking everyone by surprise at hearing this. Ragged Gloves' card slotted out of Yuto's Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone, before he took it and held it up. "When Break Sword is destroyed and if it has Overlay Units, I can Summon all the Monsters that were used to Xyz Summon it as Level 4 monsters!" The Xyz Duelist explained, then placed the card down in sideways position on his Duel Disk's blade.
With a small flash of light, The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves appeared and crossed its arms in a defensive position.

Sylvio gave an annoyed grunt at seeing this, before rearing his right fist back. "Fine, I'll attack that thing instead! Since my Black Luster Soldier destroyed an opponent's monster, it can attack one more!" The brown-haired male explained, right as Black Luster Soldier swung its blade and destroyed Ragged Gloves.
Black Luster Soldier returned to Sylvio's side, right as he picked one of his two cards and inserted it into his Duel Disk. "I'll end my turn by placing one card face-down!" Sylvio declared, right as a single face-down card appeared on his field.

From behind Yuto; Zuzu looked over the field with narrowed eyes. 'Sylvio's got a monster with 3000 ATK Points and a single face-down card, while this guy's got nothing. It doesn't look like he's gonna win, but I'll keep quiet and watch'. The pink-haired female thought to herself, wondering if her mysterious ally could turn this duel around or not.
"It's my turn now. I draw!" Yuto exclaimed, drawing the card and throwing his hand out to the side. He then brought the card to his face to see what it was, then looked at Sylvio. "I activate the special ability of The Phantom Knights of Stained Greaves from my Graveyard!" The Xyz Duelist declared, much to the surprise of everyone at hearing this.
"Wait, from the Graveyard?" Sylvio questioned with wide eyes, which Yuto nodded to him. "That's right! By banishing this card from my Graveyard..." He began to explain, right as a black portal appeared in front of him and the card of The Phantom Knights of Stained Greaves appeared above it. The Monster card then burst into yellow sparkles that was absorbed into the portal, before it closed.
"I'm allowed to Special Summon a Phantom Knights monster from my hand with its Level increased by one". Yuto explained, before holding up the card he drew and flipped it over. It was a Monster card with the image showing a light blue flaming spirit with silver glowing eyes, somehow wearing a purple wizard hat and purple black cape. And somehow a black metal staff with a silver gem at the top floating beside it. "I Summon The Phantom Knights of Magical Hat!" Yuto declared, before throwing the card down on his Duel Disk's blade.

"Magical Hat's special ability activates! Since this card was Special Summoned, I can draw another card!" Yuto explained his monster's special ability, then draw another card from his deck. He brought his new card up, then slightly widen his eyes at seeing what it was. He quickly added it to his left hand, then threw out the right one. "Now I activate Magical Hat's other special ability!" Yuto declared, right as the gem on Magical Hat's staff began gleaming a bright color.
Ragged Gloves' card slotted out of Yuto's Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone, before he took and held it up. "Once a turn; Magical Hat Summons back a Phantom Knight or DARK Attribute monster from my Graveyard and that monster's Level changes to match his! So come forth once more; The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves!" The Xyz Duelist explained, then placed the card down in sideways position on his Duel Disk's blade.

Sylvio narrowed his eyes at seeing this move, then took notice of something with Yuto's monsters. "He's got two monsters that are Level 4. He has all he needs to Xyz Summon a Rank 4 Xyz Monster". The brown-haired male said to himself, yet Yuto heard him perfectly. "Exactly. Prepare yourself, because now you face a beast unlike any other Xyz Monster you've ever seen!" Yuto exclaimed with conviction, catching Zuzu's full attention as she turned to look at him.

Yuto reared his right arm up, then thrust it forward. "I Overlay the Level 4 Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves and Magical Hat! With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network!" The Xyz Duelist exclaimed, then threw his right hand out to the side. Both Ragged Gloves and Magical Hat transformed into bright darkish purple lights, before they shot up into the air.
A black and gold galaxy-like portal appeared on the ground in front of Yuto, releasing a powerful gust of wind that blew everyone's clothes and hair with Yuto's cloak blowing a bit wildly. The two lights descended into the Xyz portal, a brightly light emerging from within it once they entered.
"Formed from pitch-black darkness, to fight those foolish enough to oppose it with its treacherous fangs! Now, descend! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Yuto chanted as his ace monster emerged from the Xyz portal. It was the Xyz dragon fragment of the Supreme King Dragon; Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon with two purple overlay units circling around it.
Dark Rebellion growled, then spun around to behind Yuto and howled to the heavens, a sort of black smoke appearing out of nowhere around the beast.

Zuzu stared up at Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon with wide eyes, feeling the intense aura it was letting out and taking in how different it was compared to the other Xyz Monsters she's seen. "Dark Rebellion... Xyz Dragon?" She uttered to herself, then took a step back. 'I've never seen an Xyz Monster like this before, but then why does it feel so familiar? I can't help feeling like this dragon's just like Yuya's Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon'. The pink-haired female thought to herself, wondering if this dragon had a connection with Yuya's one.
"Since Ragged Gloves was used as Xyz Material for Dark Rebellion, my dragons gains 1000 ATK Points!" Yuto informed his opponent, right as Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon powered up.
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon ATK: 2500 + 1000 = 3500.
"Oh man... 3500 ATK Points". Ootomo said with a nervous voice, a single bit of sweat dropping down the right side of his face. "And it gets worse. When that thing attacks, that Xyz Territory Field-Spell's effect will go off and it'll gain 800 more ATK Points". Yamabe remarked with a gulp, starting to lose confidence that Sylvio can win this Duel. "Sylvio will lose 1300 points, but that should be fine. He can recover from this". Kakimoto told his friends, certain that Sylvio can make a comeback and win.
Sylvio gave a gulp, then gazed down at his Duel Disk's screen. 'Calm down Sylvio, you still got this. When he attacks, I'll play Half or Nothing and he'll be forced to end his Battle Phase. Then when it comes my turn, I'll slay that dragon and continue on to him, ending this next round'. The brown-haired boy thought to himself, trying to keep himself from freaking out.
"I activate..." Yuto began, catching Sylvio's attention as he looked up at the black and purple-haired boy across him. "Dark Rebellion's special ability!" The Xyz Duelist declared, throwing his right hand out. Dark Rebellion's mechanical wings went into battle mode, followed by a surge of electricity appearing and surging through them, giving the appearance of wings made of energy.
"By using one Overlay Unit; Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon can halve the ATK Points of one Level 5 or higher monster my opponent controls and transfer that amount to itself". Yuto explained his Xyz Monster's effect, just as Dark Rebellion absorbed one of its overlay units into the gem on its wings. "Treason Discharge!" Yuto cried out, right as the electricity shot out and surrounded Black Luster Soldier, binding and absorbing the Warrior-Type monster's power. Dark Rebellion howled as it powered up from the energy it took from Black Luster Soldier.

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon ATK: 3500 + 1500 = 5000/ Overlay Units: 2 - 1 = 1.
Sylvio, Zuzu, Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all cried out at seeing Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's ability. "5000 ATK Points!?" Yamabe cried out in shock at seeing the high number of points Dark Rebellion had. "It's enough to take out Sylvio and end this duel!" Zuzu remarked with a growing smile, amazed at how Yuto turned this duel around with just this one monster.
Yuto brought his right hand up, then swung it down and held it out towards Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. "Battle Phase! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, attack Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning!" The Xyz Duelist commanded his ace Xyz Monster, an order that it was happy to obey. Dark Rebellion's fangs became surged with lightning, all the while it growled at Sylvio's monster. "Xyz Territory's effect activates once more!" Yuto stated, right as Dark Rebellion powered up once more.
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon ATK: 5000 + 800 = 5800/ DEF Points: 2000 + 800 = 2800.
"Go! Tear right through that relic of the past!" Yuto exclaimed as Dark Rebellion flew off the ground, then charged towards Black Luster Soldier. "I activate my Trap card; Half or Nothing!" Sylvio exclaimed, throwing his right hand out. The face-down card on Sylvio's field lifted itself up, then began gleaming a bright light.
"The Trap gives you two options! Option number 1: all your monster's ATK Points cut in half until the end of Battle Phase! Or option number 2: You end the Battle Phase now!" Sylvio explained his Trap card's effect, something that didn't even faze Yuto. "I choose the option of cutting my dragon's ATK Points in half!" The Xyz Duelist declared, right as Sylvio's Trap card started glowing. Two golden axes came spinning out of the glowing card and cut the sides of Dark Rebellion's torso, weakening it.

"Go! Revolt of the Lightning Disobey!" Yuto cried out, right as Dark Rebellion shot forward towards Black Luster Soldier with its fangs gleaming brightly. It tore right through the legendary monster and passed through, before Black Luster Soldier exploded 3 seconds later. The explosion's shockwaves hit Sylvio head on and even pushed him off of his feet and sent him slamming onto the ground on his back. He grunted with both eyes closed in pain. (2900 - 1500 = 1400)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon ATK: 2900 - 800 = 2100/ DEF Points: 2800 - 800 = 2000.
With its job done, Dark Rebellion returned to its master's side, the lightning surging through its fangs and wings disappearing. Sylvio sat up from the ground, then climbed up to his feet and glared at Yuto. "Okay, seriously... What the heck's going on here?! There's no Action Field activated, yet somehow things are too realistic for a normal Duel! Is this your doing?" The brown-haired teenager questioned Yuto with an irritated voice.
"...Unfortunately, this is something I have no control over". Yuto answered, before taking the only card he had in his left hand with his right one. "Main Phase 2; thus your Trap card's effect ends and my dragon's ATK returns". The Xyz Duelist stated, right as a red aura briefly appeared over Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon as its power returned.

"I'll set one face-down card and end my turn". Yuto declared, inserting the card into his Duel Disk with a face-down card appeared on the field. "Since my turn has ended, my dragon's ATK Points return to normal now". Z-arc's Xyz fragment added, right as Dark Rebellion powered down.

"Oh man... That was close". Kakimoto commented, then took a nervous gulp. "Right? If it hadn't been for Sylvio's Trap card, he would have lost". Yamabe remarked, glad that his friend had that single Trap card that saved him. "But now Sylvio's on the losing side. He's got nothing now, and that guy has a super powerful dragon on his field". Ootomo pointed out, a trace of sweat going down his face.
Zuzu was quiet as she stared at the back of Yuto's head with wide eyes. 'This guy is amazing... He was completely powerless and had nothing at the start of his turn, but turned it all around in just one turn. Now he's the one with the highest Life Points and strongest monster on the field. He's gotta be a famous duelist to be this strong, so why haven't I heard of him before?' The pink-haired female questioned inside her mind, wondering who Yuto is and where he's from.
Sylvio breathed in and out heavy, keeping his glare on Yuto's mask and goggle covered face. "I'll admit, you're not bad. But I'm the one that's gonna win this duel! I draw!" The brown-haired male cried out, drawing his card in a dramatic fashion by throwing the right hand out. He brought the card up to see what it was, then gave a massive grin at seeing what it was.
"I play Pot of Greed!" Sylvio declared, inserting the card into his Duel Disk. The green pot appeared on Sylvio's field, right before he gave a laugh. "What comes around, goes around as they say. Like you, this lets me draw 2 cards". The brown-haired explained his Spell card's effect, before drawing 2 more cards. The pot shattered, but Sylvio paid it no mind as he looked at his two new cards.
"Perfect. With this card, my victory is assured". Sylvio stated, before suddenly flipping the card in his left hand over, revealing it to Yuto. "I activate the Ritual Spell; Super Soldier Synthesis!" The brown-haired male declared, taking the card into his right hand and slotted it into the Duel Disk.
A large copy of the Ritual Spell appeared on Sylvio's field, before it gained a blue aura around itself. "This Ritual Spell allows me to Ritual Summon a "Black Luster Soldier" Ritual Monster from my hand or Graveyard!" Sylvio explained with a confident grin as he added one of the two cards to his left hand, much to Zuzu's surprise at hearing this. "From the Graveyard!?" She cried out in surprise, having no card with an effect like that in her deck.
"To Ritual Summon it, I must sacrifice a LIGHT and DARK Monster from my hand and Deck, one each". The brown-haired boy continued to explain, right as a single card slotted out of his deck. Sylvio took hold of it with his right hand's ring and pinkie fingers, before holding it and the other card up for Yuto to see. "I sacrifice the Envoy of Chaos in my hand and the Beginning Knight in my deck". Sylvio declared his choices, before sending both cards to the Graveyard.
Envoy of Chaos and Beginning Knight appeared on Sylvio's side of the field, before they both turned around and flew into Super Solider Synthesis' card, followed by it transforming into a blue pillar of energy. "With these two tributes, I Ritual Summon! Level 8! Come forth; Black Luster Soldier – Super Soldier!" Sylvio cried out to the heavens as the Ritual Monster; Black Luster Soldier – Super Soldier floated out of the pillar of light and glared at Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon.

Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all cried out in joy at seeing Sylvio Ritual Summon his best Ritual Monster again, while Zuzu narrowed her eyes in concern. "I'm afraid it gets worse for you, my friend! Beginning Knight's special ability activates!" Sylvio exclaimed, throwing his right hand forward. "When this card is used to Ritual Summoned; the Ritual Monster inherits two effects. To cut an explanation short, they're the same effects as my Envoy of the Beginning only there isn't a price when using the banish effect now". The brown-haired teenager explained, much to Zuzu's dread at hearing this.
"Oh no..." She uttered in dread, realizing what this meant. "Oh, yes. Go Super Solider, activate your inherited ability!" Sylvio exclaimed, pointing forward with his right hand's index finger. Super Soldier's blade gleamed with golden energy, right before the Ritual Monster pointed it at Dark Rebellion and fired a beam at it.
Despite the dangers, Yuto wasn't the least bit worried. "As I thought, I don't feel an iron determination or a steeled strength in your Dueling. And now, you'll see the difference between you and I". The Xyz Duelist said with a hidden glare, before throwing his right hand out. "I activate my Quick-Play Spell card; Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Force!" Yuto cried out, right before his face-down card lifted itself and began gleaming a bright light.
Sylvio, Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all gasped at what they heard and see. "No way! Another one of those Rank-Up-Magic cards!?" Sylvio exclaimed in shock, mind flashing back to the tag duel and how Lulu played a Rank-Up-Magic card. "Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Force lets me banish DARK Monsters from my Graveyard..." Yuto began to explain, holding up The Phantom Knights of Magical Hat's card, then put it away.
"Then it allows me to take one DARK Xyz Monster I control and Rank it up into a "The Phantom Knights", "Raidraptor", or "Xyz Dragon" Xyz Monster that's Rank is equal to the monster, plus the number of monsters I banished". Yuto explained the Rank-Up-Magic card's effect, before holding up Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's card with his right hand's fingers. "My dragon is Rank 4, and I banished one monster. Thus, I can now Summon a Rank 5 Xyz Monster!" The teenage boy told Sylvio, right before Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon was covered in a pitch-black pillar of energy.
The golden beam struck the black pillar, yet wasn't able to break though. "From the depths of purgatory, dedicate to the unsinking souls your song of rebellion! Appear and echo forevermore! Go, Rank-Up Xyz Evolution!" Yuto chanted, his dragon undergoing a transformation inside the dark pillar of energy.
"Rank 5! Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon!" Yuto cried out to the heavens, throwing his right hand forward, reared it in and threw it out to the side. A whitish blue pillar appeared and overcame the dark pillar of energy, before suddenly clearing to reveal the evolved form of Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon; Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon.
Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon threw its head up, swinging its tail around a bit and then howled, two darkish purple overlay units circling around it.

Everyone stared up at Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon with wide eyes, taking in how fearsome it was. "Dark Requiem...Xyz Dragon?" Zuzu uttered, feeling a strange sense from seeing this evolved version of Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. "Whoa... Can everyone do that whole Rank-Up-Magic thing?" Kakimoto questioned, wondering if their school wasn't really the top when it came to Xyz Summoning.
Sylvio stared up at Dark Requiem with his teeth grit, mind flashing back to that Xyz-Pendulum Monster that Lulu used to defeat him. 'Darn it all! Calm down Sylvio, you still got this'. The brown-haired boy said inside his mind, before taking the only card he had in hand left. "I'll set a face-down card". Sylvio said, inserting the card into his Duel Disk. A face-down card appeared in front of Sylvio. "Then I end my turn!" He declared, no move left to make this turn.

'My face-down card is Sakuretsu Armor. If he attacks, I'll activate it and destroy his attacking monster. If he attacks with that dragon of his, it'll just end in mutual destruction'. Sylvio thought to himself, certain that he still had this Duel under control. He turned his gaze over to Yuto, who made no move to draw and instead stared at Sylvio.
"Hey, are you gonna draw or not?" Sylvio questioned with a small frown at how Yuto was delaying things. "I'll be the one asking questions now". The Xyz Duelist replied, before holding up a Leo Institute badge with his right hand. "This badge is from the Leo Institute, is it not? What's your connection with Duel Academy?" Yuto questioned Sylvio, much to his confusion at the sudden question.
"Duel Academy? Sorry, you lost me". Sylvio stated, giving a shrug of his shoulders. "Don't play dumb!" Yuto snapped at the brown-haired male, much to his slight fear. "I'm not playing. Everyone who enrolls into the Leo Institute has a badge like that. As for Duel Academy, I don't know what you're talking about. Is that a place, thing, what?" Sylvio told Yuto with a confused voice, something that the Xyz Duelist could tell that he wasn't faking.

"I see. You are no use to me then, I have no more reason to prolong this anymore". Yuto stated, placing his right hand's fingers on the top card of his deck. "I...draw!" He cried out, drawing the card in a dramatic style by throwing his right hand out. He didn't even look at his new card, before pointing at Super Soldier with his right hand's index finger. "I activate Dark Requiem's special ability! Once a turn I can use one Overlay Unit!" The Xyz Duelist began to explain, right as Dark Requiem absorbed one of its overlay units.

"Until the End Phase I can reduce a Level 5 or higher monster's ATK to zero and add the lost amount to Dark Requiem's ATK!" Yuto explained his evolved Xyz Dragon's effect, Dark Requiem's gems on its wings lighting up in a multi-colored light with energy seemingly leaking out of it. "Say what!?" Sylvio exclaimed with wide eyes of shock at what he just heard.
"Requiem Salvation!" Yuto cried out, before Dark Requiem and cried as it released dark tendrils from the gems at Super Soldier. It wrapped around and immobilized the Ritual Monster with it groaning in discomfort, while Dark Requiem powered up.

"6000 ATK Points!?" Zuzu cried out in disbelief at seeing the high number of ATK Points that Dark Requiem has. "No way..." Kakimoto uttered, now afraid for Sylvio. Yuto waved his right hand up and held it there. "Dark Requiem, take flight!" The Xyz user commanded his ace monster, a command it was happy to obey. Dark Requiem howled, before spreading its wings and took flight, crashing through the celling of the warehouse.
Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all gave a cry of surprise and horror, while Sylvio and Zuzu held up their arms to protect themselves from any debris. Once it was high enough, Dark Requiem ceased flying higher and stayed at that altitude, gazing down towards Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier with its wings out. "I'm not giving up just yet! I play my Trap card; Sakuretsu Armor!" Sylvio exclaimed, throwing his right hand out right as his face-down card flipped over.
Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all cheered at seeing Sylvio's armor, Zuzu grew worried, and Sylvio grinned with confidence. But that all stopped by one word that Yuto spoke. "Pointless". The Xyz Duelist stated, before throwing his right hand out. "I activate Dark Requiem's second special ability! By using an Overlay Unit...!" He began to explain, right as Dark Requiem absorbed its second overlay unit.

"I can Special Summon an Xyz Monster from my Graveyard, such as my Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon..." Yuto continued to explain, right as a black portal appeared in front of him and Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon emerged from within it with a howl.

"And negate the effect of your Sakuretsu Armor!" Yuto finished, right as black lightning briefly appeared around Yuto's Trap card, right before it shattered. Sylvio, Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all cried out in terror at seeing this, losing all hope for Sylvio's victory now. "And through Xyz Territory's effect, my dragon gains 1000 points!" Yuto reminded his opponent, right as Dark Requiem powered up.
Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon ATK: 6000 + 1000 = 7000.
"Can't we be friends?" Sylvio asked with a scared and hopeful voice, hoping that he'll be spared. "No! Dark Requiem, attack!" Yuto exclaimed, swiping his right hand out to the side. Energy slowly emerged from Dark Requiem's wings, taking a mirror appearance within a church like they're made of pewter glass.
"This is the end! Requiescent Disaster Disobey!" Yuto cried to the heavens. Dark Requiem charged its power into its fangs, before flapping both wings and descended down into the warehouse straight into Super Soldier. The moment Dark Requiem struck, a mighty explosion went off.
The shockwaves spread out and blasted Sylvio, Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo, blowing all of them off their feet. Zuzu let out a scream as she brought both arms up to defend herself, but unexpectedly Yuto ran over and wrapped both arms around her in a protective hold, shielding Zuzu from harm. The shockwaves hit, yet he stood strong. However, a single stray rock rammed into the left goggle, cracking the glass.
The whole warehouse was hit hard by the explosion, destroying everything inside. All that was left were stray bits of fire around. Zuzu, in Yuto's embrace, opened her confused eyes and looked at Yuto, wondering why he protected her. Wordlessly, Yuto let Zuzu go and turned around to look at his opponent, where he saw Sylvio lying down on his back, groaning. (7000 - 0 = 0)

A screen appeared; displaying an image of Yuto with the words "Win" underneath, announcing him as the winner. Both Dark Requiem and Dark Rebellion dispersed in particles, before Yuto and Sylvio's Duel Disk deactivated. Sylvio groaned, before he sat up from the ground while his three friends all crawled away. 'Damn it, how?! How could this have happened again!' Sylvio shouted out inside his mind, angered at him losing again.
"Whoa... Is it just me, or did that dragon's attack kinda feel like it really just happened?" Ootomo questioned with wide eyes, staring right at Yuto. "Yeah, like it was an Action Duel. But there's no Arc System here". Kakimoto stated, wondering just how the damage was done without an Arc System activated. "I wanna go home". Yamabe groaned out, afraid of the Xyz Duelist and his dragons now.
Yuto took his goggles off his eyes and placed them on his head. Yuto's eyes were covered in shadows somehow, keeping his identity a secret for now still. "Why?! Why can't I win?! I'm using legendary cards, so why?!" Sylvio shouted out in frustration, no longer able to keep his cool anymore with how he's been losing recently. "Because you and that deck aren't synchronized". Yuto answered, catching Sylvio's attention as he turned to look at him.
"You're skilled and know how to use those cards, but the reality is that you don't suit them and they don't suit you. You've reached how strong you can become with that deck, so if you want to get stronger, change it to one that's more suited to you". The black and purple-haired boy told Sylvio, much to his frustration at how he's basically saying the same things that Cera said to him.
"Just who do you think you are, anyway?!" Sylvio questioned Yuto with an annoyed voice, slamming his right fist on the ground. "Very well then. I'll show you my face, so that you can remember the one that defeated you tonight". Yuto replied, before he brought up his right hand and pulled the mask off, revealing Yuto's face to everyone. A nearby flame even gave some light for everyone to see.
Zuzu, Sylvio, Kakimoto, Yamabe and Ootomo all gasped at seeing Yuto's face as it was completely identical to Yuya's face. Zuzu walked up next to Yuto, who turned to look at her. "Yuya? Is that you?" She asked with a surprised voice, thinking that this mysterious stranger was actually her childhood friend all alone. Yuto raised an eyebrow at Zuzu, but didn't speak just yet.
"This has...gotta be a bad joke". Sylvio uttered, before he collapsed to the ground and lost consciousness from the shock. "Sylvio!" Kakimoto cried out as he, Yamabe and Ootomo all ran over to their friend. "We all need to get out of here, now!" Ootomo stated, turning his gaze over to Yuto. Yamabe and Kakimoto nodded in agreement, before they placed Sylvio's arms over their shoulders to carry him. The three left the warehouse with their unconscious friend, leaving Yuto and Zuzu alone.
Zuzu stared at Yuto with a conflicted and confused face. "Yuya, I don't understand. How'd you get here so fast? And why...are you all dressed up in this disguise?" The pink-haired female questioned him, still under the impression that this guy was her childhood friend. "Who's...Yuya?" Yuto questioned her in response, much to Zuzu's further confusion.
A stray thought entered Zuzu's mind, stopping her from speaking. Now that she thought about it, maybe this man before her wasn't Yuya, but someone that had the same face as him. If she hadn't meet Lulu and Rin, she never would have thought about it, but maybe it was possible that she wasn't the only one with look-alikes. "Are you...really not Yuya?" Zuzu questioned with an uncertain voice, wanting to be certain that Yuto wasn't really Yuya.
At Zuzu's question; Yuto's face fell since it confirmed what he was hoping to deny. He had overheard everything Zuzu and Sylvio said before he interrupted them, and only hoped that Zuzu was Lulu, using a false name and changed looks to avoid suspicion. Now, however, he knew without a doubt that this girl wasn't his ex-girlfriend.

"No... I'm not. Just as you aren't her". Yuto answered with a sad voice, tilting his head down. Zuzu slightly widen her eyes at Yuto's answer, then noticed the sad look in his eyes. Just as she was about to speak to give him some comfort, someone cried out from outside. "Zuzu!" A familiar voice exclaimed, catching Zuzu by surprise since that voice belonged to Yuya.
Someone else cried out from outside, one familiar to Yuto. "Hang on, we're coming!" A familiar voice shouted out, much to Yuto's shock because that was Lulu's voice. 'That voice...' He uttered inside his mind, suddenly finding it hard to stand.
Zuzu turned to the warehouse doors, heart filled with hope at hearing those two voices. "Yuya! Lulu!" She cried out with growing joy, much to Yuto's absolute shock at the second name she spoke. 'LULU! SHE'S HERE!' Yuto shouted out inside his mind, growing hope himself. He turned to look at the warehouse doors as well, feeling anxious to finally see his ex-girlfriend again after so long.
Suddenly without warning; Zuzu's bracelet began to glow a bright pink light, taking both her and Yuto by surprise. It illuminated the entire inside of the warehouse, forcing both teenagers to shut their eyes and raise their arms to block it out. Due to her eyes being closed, Zuzu wasn't able to see Yuto turn into particles and vanish.
The light quickly died down and Zuzu was able to open her eyes. She blinked at seeing Yuto was gone somehow, then lowered both hands. "Huh? Where'd he go?" The pink-haired female questioned, before she looked at her bracelet as she brought it up, wondering what exactly it did just now. 'What was that? How did this thing even do that?' She questioned inside her mind, wondering what this long held item of hers is that it could cause a lightshow like that.
At that moment; Yuya, Lulu and Rin all ran into the warehouse. "Zuzu!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist exclaimed, then grew a relived face at seeing her unharmed. Lulu came up to Zuzu as she turned, and place both hands on Zuzu's shoulders. "Are you okay? They didn't hurt you, did they?" The Mistress of Birds asked in a worried voice, while Rin walked pass them and turned to look at her surroundings. "Where's that weasel Sylvio? I'm gonna introduce him to my fist!" She exclaimed, then cracked both knuckles with a loud snapping sound going off.
"I-I'm fine. Sylvio didn't do anything to me". Zuzu told her look-alike with an uncertain voice, too confused to think normally. Lulu gave a relived smile at Zuzu, while Yuya looked at all the destruction. "What the heck happened in here, anyway?" Yuya questioned with wide eyes, wondering what's responsible for all this. "Who knows. But whatever it was, it's gone now". Rin stated, giving a shrug of her shoulders.
"D-Did you guys see anyone else come out of this warehouse earlier?" Zuzu asked her friends, catching them all off guard with Yuya and Rin turning to look at her. "No, we didn't". Lulu answered with a confused frown, wondering if someone else was involved with the events that happened here. Zuzu brought her right hand to her chin as she thought about the boy that bore the same face as Yuya.
'If that wasn't Yuya, then who was he? It was confusing enough when it was just me with Lulu and Rin, but now someone else that has Yuya's face?! Just what's going on?' Zuzu questioned inside of her mind, utterly confused at what's even going on with her life nowadays. "Zuzu? What happened here?" Lulu asked her friend with concern, yet Zuzu didn't answer as she was too engrossed in her thoughts.
Yuya suddenly let out a loud sneeze, catching Rin's attention as she turned to look at him. "Gesundheit". The green-haired girl stated, placing both hands on her hips. "Thanks for that. But geez, it really wreaks of smoke in here". Yuya remarked, disliking the smell greatly. Rin gave a shrug of her shoulders as she really couldn't argue with that.
What the four didn't know that night was that this was merely the start of something that'll drag them all into the Dimensional War, and something even greater behind the scenes.

In a random alleyway of Paradise City; a flash of light appeared but quickly died down, revealing Yuto with the Xyz Duelist's eyes closed shut from the harsh light. After a few moments, he opened them and blinked in surprise at the change of scenery around him. "What the!?" The Xyz fragment of Z-arc exclaimed in surprise, wondering how he ended up back here.
Yuto lowered his head and thought back to how Zuzu's bracelet suddenly started acting up. 'Does that bracelet have some sort of power that can teleport people away?' He questioned inside his mind, then gazed to the left out of the alleyway. Thankfully for him, he recognized the street outside the alleyway to be Paradise City's street, meaning he's still in Standard and wasn't flung to another dimension.
Yuto lowered his head, staring at the ground as he thought about the rather surprising turn of events. 'Could...Could Lulu really be here somewhere?' Yuto questioned inside his mind, thinking of the possibility that Lulu somehow escaped Duel Academy and came here to Standard. He's certain that was Lulu's voice he heard earlier. And since Zuzu said Lulu's name, the chances were very high and that the two knew each other.
'If Zuzu really knows Lulu, then she can help me. All I need to do is find her again, then she'll lead me to-' Yuto thought, only to stop dead in his tracks and grow a face full of guilt. He had been too excited to see her safe and sound that Yuto forgot about what happened between them before she was kidnapped. He broke her faith and terrified her with his actions, so much that she broke up with him.
Yuto doesn't blame her for that, he committed the greatest sin of all. He and his comrades sealed defeated opponents in cards just as Duel Academy does them, but he's the only person that's actually ripped a one that someone's sealed away in. It was basically murder, a feat that even Duel Academy didn't overstep. Even if it was out of anger for them sealing away his sister, Yuto was guilty of murder and now, he lives every day with that guilt.
"Yuto". A voice spoke up, snapping the Xyz Duelist out of his thoughts. He turned a little to see a friend and comrade standing 10 feet away from him. It is a tall young man with straight blueish-black hair that falls to his chin, and light green bangs in the shape of a wing partially tucked under some strands on the left. He has yellow-green eyes that was concealed by dark glasses he's wearing, and a red scarf signifying his allegiance to the Resistance, keeping the lower face covered. He wore a blue trenchcoat that is tattered at the ends; the coat is belted shut and is adorned with belted cuffs. He also sports grey pants and brown shoes.
This man is Yuto's best friend and Lulu's older brother; Shay Obsidian.
Yuto slightly widen both eyes, but quickly soften his expression. "Shay". He greeted, turning around to fully face Shay as he walked up to him. "Have you learned anything the Leo Institute and their connection to Duel Academy?" Shay questioned his best friend, crossing both arms as he spoke.
Z-arc's Xyz fragment shook his head. "No, I didn't. I encountered a student of the Leo Institute, but he didn't know anything at all". Yuto answered, much to Shay's frustration at hearing this. "Damn it. Fine, guess we'll have to go for those higher up in the food chain". Shay stated, before he turned around and began walking away.
Yuto watched his best friend walk away, considering telling him that his sister is here or not. After a moment or two of consideration, he decided to do it and tell Shay. "Wait a second Shay!" The black and purple-haired boy called out, catching Shay's attention as he stopped. He slightly turned to look at his best friend and saw Yuto's uncertain expression.
"What is it?" Lulu's brother asked with an impatient voice, yet Yuto didn't answer straight away. He remained silent for a few seconds, mouth opening and closing. After a few moments, Yuto managed to find his voice and spoke. "I...I think she's here, in Standard?" The Xyz fragment of Z-arc told Shay, which he just raised an eyebrow at him.
"Who?" Shay questioned, no clue on who Yuto is talking about. Yuto closed both eyes and let out a deep sigh to release all the tension he was feeling. The Xyz Duelist opened both eyes and gave a look of resolve at Shay. "...Lulu. I think Lulu's here in the Standard Dimension". Yuto told his best friend, causing Shay to let out a sharp gasp of shock and widen both eyes as wide as he could.

At the house that the "family" of Yusei, Lulu and Rin lives in; Satellite's Shooting Star just walked in through the front door, wearing the new casual clothes, carrying a white grocery bag with his right hand. Earlier in the day, he had dropped Serenity home after teaching her as much as he knew about Fusion Summoning and afterwards, went shopping for groceries. It was a safe bet to say that today's been a normal one for him.
Yusei closed the door behind himself, before he walked over to the kitchen table and placed the grocery bag down on it. He opened the bag, but before he could get started on unpacking, his mark of the Crimson Dragon's head started glowing brightly, catching Yusei by surprise. "My mark's glowing!" He exclaimed with wide eyes, looking down at the mark in confusion at why it's acting up right now.
'The time grows ever closer. Your days of peace are numbered, Yusei Fudo'. A familiar voice said from within Yusei's mind, much to his shock. 'Crimson Dragon? Is that you?' Yusei questioned inside his mind, quickly realizing that the dragon's communicating with him through telepathy.
'Yes Yusei, but that is not important right now. You need to know that the Supreme King's Xyz pieces have arrived in the Standard Dimension'. The deity informed its Signer, much to Yusei's shock at learning this. 'What!? Yuto and Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon are here in Standard?' He questioned, wanting to be certain and that this wasn't a joke.
'I have no reason to lie. Their appearance, along with that agent of Duel Academy are a sign. A sign that the days of peace are soon to end'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei, much to his frustration at hearing this. Despite the time he's spent here, Yusei hasn't made many allies that could help him in the battle against Duel Academy. The You Show Duel School and Serenity were the only allies he's made, and they all still so young and inexperience to participate in a war. Things were not looking well.
'There is not much time left. You must find the one named Declan Akaba and ally with him. He will be a great comrade in the Dimensional War'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei, much to his surprise at the name he heard. 'Wait, Akaba? As in Leo Akaba's family?' He questioned once more, certain that it wasn't just a coincidence that this "Declan Akaba" shared the same last name as Leo Akaba.
'Yes Yusei. Declan Akaba is Leo Akaba's son, but you need not worry. Declan does not support his father and wishes to stop him instead'. The dragon revealed to its Signer, surprising Yusei once more at hearing this. 'What?!' He gave a low, but sharp gasp at hearing this, finding it hard to believe a family would be against each other, even if it was Leo Akaba's one.
'Declan Akaba does not know why Leo Akaba is invading the other dimensions, noir of the truth about his father or about his half-sister. Once you have made contact and formed an alliance with him, call on me and I shall assist you in showing Declan the truth about his father'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei, much to his relief at hearing this. 'Thanks. It'll help a lot in getting Declan's trust'. Satellite's Shooting Star thanked the dragon, feeling a great sense that Declan should know the truth about his father.
'Your thanks are unnecessary. For now, get as much rest as you can. Once the time of battle starts, you won't get so many chances to rest properly'. The dragon said, right before Yusei's mark quickly lost its glow and returned to normal. Yusei was silent, staring at his mark with narrowed eyes for a few moments.
He turned his left hand into a fist and gripped it hard. 'I let myself enjoy the peace too much. I have to get my act together and start getting ready for when Duel Academy makes its move. I just hope this Declan Akaba can help me prepare'. The black-haired male said inside his mind, before looking out to the backyard towards the night sky. He wondered what the son of Leo Akaba was like, and if he could be trusted.
Only time will tell and hopefully, Yusei and Declan can help each other greatly in their goals.

Inside of Declan's office; the young president sat behind his desk, looking up at Claude. The adult man was standing in front of his boss' table, holding a holographic chart with his right hand. Earlier today, their company's main frame had detected powerful Xyz energy in the city, then picked up a Rank-Up Xyz energy just like Lulu's Rank-Up Xyz Evolution a few days ago.
So now, Declan and Claude were talking about the Xyz energy released. "It is no coincidence, Mr. President. This is the energy of a Duelist from the Xyz Dimension, it perfectly matches Lulu Obsidian's Xyz energy". Declan's right-hand man told him, looking down at the chart he's holding with his right hand. "Indeed. Still though, to think that there were more Duelist capable of this advanced form of Xyz Summoning". Declan said with a small frown, then tilted his head down.
He wasn't expected the Standard Dimension's summoning energy to match the other dimensions' energy, but he was at least expecting to match them in their receptive summoning method. That, however, has changed the moment he witnessed Lulu's Rank-Up Xyz Evolution that day. He's had his team of developers work on creating their own Rank-Up-Magic Spell cards, but so far they've come up incredibly short.
As if reading his boss's mind, Claude spoke. "Our team hasn't made any progress with creating our own Rank-Up-Magic Spell cards. I'm starting to doubt that we can do it, even with Kaiba Corporation's assistance". The adult man informed Declan with a voice full of shame. "It would seem that for us to make progress, we're gonna need a Rank-Up-Magic card ourselves". Declan stated, adding another thing to his mental list of things to seek from the You Show Duel School.
"Understood". Claude stated, then slightly narrowed his eyes. "On a sidenote Mr. President, your mother's is returning from her overseas trip very soon". The adult man told Declan, reminding him of the return of the Leo Institute's chairwoman. Declan grew silent at Claude's words, yet the man knew that his boss was calculating inside his mind. Declan always thought ahead, 3 steps ahead to be exact. It's how he has managed to run the Leo Institute as the president, despite his young age.
"Sir, I highly doubt your mother is unaware of all that's happened here in her absence. What do you think her intentions towards Yusei Fudo will be?" Claude asked Declan with a curious voice. He had known Declan's mother for a long time, but Declan knew her better than Claude could. So, it was a safe bet to say that he'd know what the chairwoman's plans with Yusei Fudo will be.
Declan was silent for a few moments as he ponders Claude's question, wondering what his mother would want with Yusei himself. He had three possibilities in mind. Number 1: She'd form a contract or alliance with him. Option number 2: Force him to leave the You Show Duel School and work at the Leo Institute. And option number 3: consider him an enemy, lock him away and interrogate him.
But unfortunately, Declan already had his plans for Yusei and his mother wasn't gonna get in the way of that. "There's no need to worry about that, Claude. Even if she has heard about him, my mother is no match for Yusei Fudo. By the end of this, he'll be a comrade in the battle against my father". The young president told his trusted right-hand man.
He means it. Declan fully intended to recruit Yusei to his forces to battle against Leo Akaba. And if his calculations were correct, he'd also gain the abilities of Yuya Sakaki, Lulu Obsidian and Rin since the three were very close to the Synchro Duelist. Declan can only hope that their partnership is created on a form of trust and not of manipulation. What he didn't know was that the man he's thinking of recruiting, was more than happy to be allies with him in the battle against Duel Academy.
In time, the two will soon join hands. And Declan will learn the truth about his father and family when that time comes.

Five trials of cards started to line up in a row, before shining in a flash of light to reveal Paradise City. Yusei was standing in the city with his jacket blowing in the breeze. Yusei started walking through Paradise City, before holding up his right arm as his Duel Disk activated.
"What are you grasping for?"
"What good will it do you".
Yusei stood, looking off to the far left with various cards floating around him in a blue color.
"We're moving forward and we'll make sure to discover what".
"Never-ending sentiments".
"the passionate beats of our hearts".
"and the voice of truth are all what we heard".
Yuya appeared, holding a card in his right hand, before looking off to the right with his own trail of cards floating beside him in a red color.
"We got busted up and we learned".
"of where we can get stronger".
Cards appeared, before they cleared to reveal Yusei's face with his left side coloured black and white as flashes of previous Duels were reflected in his left side. A bright light appeared before it showed Yusei standing in an empty hallway, with the walls and floor made up of his various cards. The walls were made of cards such as Sonic Chick, Quilbolt Hedgehog, Speed Warrior and Junk Synchron. On the floor were Yusei's signature cards, Junk Warrior, Nitro Warrior, Lightning Warrior, Jet Warrior, Stardust Charge Warrior and Turbo Warrior.
"I'll search through the dreams in my hand".
"and one day I'll lead them all to you".
In a dark garage, Yusei started up his Duel Runner as his Duel Disk activated, before he placed his helmet on. The garage door opened and Yusei shot out aboard his Duel Runner. Yusei rode through the streets of Paradise City, passing through a park, where Lulu, Celina, Rin and Zuzu were. The four girls waved at Yusei as he passed by. Yusei drove through the You Show School, where Ally, Frederick, Tate, Yuya, Gong, Skip and Sora waved at him.
"Shouting the signal for the START".
"we'll do what our hearts want".
"and vault over our cramped".
"and mediocre lives".
Yusei drove off a bridge as the crimson energy appeared around his Duel Runner, before it formed crimson wings. Yusei flew past Leo tower, looking straight ahead.
"We'll make a DASH".
"and attain every bit of our brilliant futures".
Jet Warrior, Lightning Warrior, and Stardust Charge Warrior all appeared and lined up in the sky, before a pillar of light appeared and absorbed them. From the pillar of light came Stardust Dragon, who roared as it flew through the sky.
"Embracing the bonds we so believe in".
"We'll race toward tomorrow".
Stardust Dragon trailed behind his master as they flew through Paradise City, leaving a shinning trail behind. The trail lighted up, before it cleared to reveal Yusei and Yuya standing atop a monolith between the cravings of their dragons, Stardust Dragon and Star-Eyes Savior Dragon, looking at each other.
And done. This chapter is complete and now, we're at the point where the You Show and Leo Institute will battle next chapter. I hope you all enjoy that chapter when it comes. Please be patient until then, everyone.
For now, I'm gonna focus on my Maleficent story since SO many people wanted an update for that story. The next time this story will be updated will be on 2024, really hard to believe 2023 is almost over. It has honestly felt a bit of a fast year to me. Hopefully next year, I'll accomplish a lot.
