Alice's day began as it usually would on a quiet morning. Using magic, her dolls opened up her windows and helped her get dressed. Afterwards, they scurried off to prepare some food while Alice went to the bathroom to attend to her face and fix her hair. Once that was finished, she went straight to her workshop to create some doll sized weapons.

On any ordinary day, she'd probably eat breakfast, drink tea, and sew a new doll while enjoying the scenery. But today was different. Today, her magician friends were going to be coming over to her place to discuss their current findings and progress on their projects and spells. The meeting was going to be at lunch and after the cooking fiasco that happened at the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Alice insisted that they all bring their own food to avoid losing a good portion of her home.

Once she had finished sharpening a tiny doll sized lance, Alice went to her guest rooms. Even though the meetings were only supposed to last at lunch, knowing her friends, she was gonna have to prepare rooms for them. Though spells and projects took only a few minutes to demonstrate, the number of times they got distracted has led to their meetings going past supper. Patchouli's asthma prevented her from doing much physical work and even with her familiar's aid, would likely pass out after reaching the exit of the forest. Marisa on the other hand, would be too tired to fly properly and unable to find her way home in the dark.

Though the rooms were all neat and identical, Alice knew that they weren't to her friend's taste and with the help of her dolls, began modifying them to suit their preferences. She even took down the walls in case Marisa or Koakuma wanted to start a pillow fight. Just as she was about to finish, she heard a loud banging on her door.

"Aliiice! Ya awake yet? Or do I have to Master Spark your door?"

"Coming Marisa! Please don't demolish my front entrance!" responded Alice.

She quickly ran over to the front door and opened it to reveal a black and white witch standing in front of the entrance with her signature grin and broom.

"And look who else's here!" sang the cheerful witch.

Behind her, was none other than Patchouli Knowledge in her signature purple pajama outfit. Most of her stuff(which mainly consisted of books), was being carried by none other than Koakuma, her familiar.

"Can we please come in now?" asked the purple magician.

Alice let the trio into her home while her dolls added the finishing touches to the rooms.

"Food goes on the table. Let me know if you need me to modify anything else."

Patchouli waved her hand and Koakuma placed down a square box of food while Marisa placed a large bowl of what appeared to be mushroom stew. However, Patchouli's food was completely frozen while Marisa's stew was emitting purple steam.

"Patchouli, how in the world are you gonna consume that block of ice?" asked Marisa.

"I heat it up with my magic of course," answered Patchouli. "Your stew's emitting some weird aurora. Is that normal?"

"Of course it is! These mushrooms were handpicked from the Forest of Magic!" claimed Marisa.

"It doesn't look safe," commented the purple magician.

"Safe? Mine's ready to eat unlike yours!" retorted the black and white.

"Well don't come crying once you start vomiting."

"Settle down, I think both of your dishes are equally suitable to your stomachs."

Alice had just finished modifying the rooms and was in the process of finishing her dish. After a few minutes, her dolls emerged from her kitchen while carrying a large tray of cookies and sandwiches.

"Everything alright?" asked Alice.

"One question, where did all your chairs go?" asked Marisa.

"Oh. Yuuka borrowed them. I'm supposed to get them back today but chances are, I won't be getting them back for a week," answered Alice.

"Well, it's a good thing I brought my own chair," said Patchouli. She waved her hand and a large beanbag chair appeared in front of the table.

Marisa also brought out her own chair from who knows where while Alice used her magic to enlarge one of the chairs she made for her dolls to fit her size. Just as they were about to sit down, a loud knock could be heard on Alice's door.

"Alice~"

Everyone stopped what they were doing. There was only one person who spoke in that manner.

"Get the door!"

Alice didn't need to be told twice. She hurriedly ordered Shanghai to open the door while Hourai got ready for a fight.

"Ara~. This is quite the meeting."

Standing in front of the door was none other than Yuuka, one of the most feared youkai in Gensokyo.

"Can we help you?" asked Marisa.

"Yes, though I'm gonna need all of you to come with me. Something happened at my house and I'm gonna need all three of you to help me fix this."

Yuuka gestured for them to follow and the trio of magicians complied, hoping it wasn't anything serious.
