In the late afternoon, Sue and Myles were adding photographs and other essential items to the already full whiteboard; they were also predicting how their case would fare if the phone call happened or not. If the phone call occurred, they would either be setting up a transaction through an online system, or in person, and then raid the warehouse at a set time; if no phone call occurred, they had enough evidence anyway to raid on the date and time Louis gave them.

Meanwhile, Jack, Tara and Bobby were at their computers, gathering research for minute cases in between the fentanyl one. These cases didn't matter much, as they usually got transferred to other departments in the building. Lucy did her thing, and Dimitrius was organizing the filing cabinet.

Then, a single phone rang, but it wasn't anyone's office phone; instead, it was a separate phone line that was near Jack's window. This had to be it; who else would dial a phony phone number? Jack shouted for everyone to be quiet. "Okay, this might be it!"

He answered the phone, and started in a light French accent:

"Hello, Bonjour." The small greeting was an invitation for the caller to decide whether they would prefer to speak French or English.

The caller answered Jack in French. It was a man; probably Alain. He then told the caller that he would transfer him to the proper representative, then put him on hold. He turned to Myles, "Alright, it's all you."

Myles nodded, and went to the phone. He pushed a button to reverse the hold. He said, "Jack Beaulieu speaking. Qui…"

The conversation started:

"May I ask who is calling?"

"My name is Alain. Louis said that you are friends of his. We are the fentanyl suppliers that you requested we order from?"

Myles nodded on the other line. "Yes, Louis told me that he gave you our business card. He told us about your endless supply of fentanyl, and we wish to purchase from you, and redistribute it from our own warehouse to make a profit ourselves."

"Why us?"

"Our other suppliers can't keep up with our demand, and we are constantly back ordered. They also have no manners. I'm sure you can attest to that with some of your customers."

"That is true."

"So, is it possible for us to set up an order now? Do you prefer online?"

Alain said, "How much are you planning to buy from us?"

"Ohhh - about $20,000,000 dollars worth."

"We would rather do it in person as we don't know you and your business."

"I see," Myles scratched the side of his head, "When and where would you like to meet?"

"The Q Nightclub. Does 8:30 sound sufficient to you?"

Myles grabbed a notepad and paper, and began writing. "Yes, I can send a representative of mine, who deals with the bank accounts, paperwork and orders. We are very interested in working with you, and if everything goes according to plan, use you in the future."

"Very well, thank you Jack. And remember, 8:30. If you don't show up on time, then no deal."

"Very well," Myles said, "thank you."

"Have a good day." Then, Alain hung up and Myles did the same. He turned around and faced Jack. "That was quick, but successful."

"What did he say? Are we good to put in an order now?"

"He said that they would rather do it in person, so I told them I would send a representative."

Bobby said, "Where?"

Myles answered, "They want to meet at Q nightclub tomorrow. I've personally heard of it, but I hope it's in the area." He then ripped off the page of the notepad he had written on, and handed it to the team leader. "Alain said someone has to be there at 8:30pm, or else they won't follow through with our order. I think these guys are going to be a little paranoid, so we will have to walk on eggshells for a while."

Sue responded, "So…if Alain is going to be there, that'll mean their boss Alexandre will be there too."

Jack confirmed, "Most likely."

Bobby said, "Now this has turned into an undercover mission."

Tara stated, "Just say the word and I'll get our cameras, and microphones set up."

Jack thought for a moment, "Tara, can you also check out where Q nightclub is quickly…and what it is?"

Dimitrius said, "Now, the question is…who will be the one brave enough to go undercover. And when I mean brave, I mean putting your French to the test."

Tara said, "The only one better than us is Myles."

"Well then," Dimitrius shrugged, "It's going to be you Myles."

"What?" Myles hated bars in general. Too noisy, too crowded, and too many drunk people.

Bobby interjected, "D', he can't. He's not cleared to go out into the field."

Dimitrius replied, "Relax, he's just making conversation. When it comes to action oriented areas of the plan, he will be here at the office."

Tara did quick research on the nightclub. "Found it, Q is an LGBT nightclub and Lounge. Drinks and Food."

Everyone looked at Myles. He then said in the tone he usually used when he disagreed with something. "I am not going to a gay bar! Who even uses those anymore?"

Dimitrius begged to differ, "Oh come on, Myles. You'll fit right in."

Myles' heart sank. Did they know? "W…What do you mean by that?"

Jack shrugged. "Hey, you're flamboyant, stylish, flirtatious, and the most convincing; I mean, I remember you telling me you'd kiss me if I were anyone else."

Bobby said, "I recall him saying that to me too. I think you've wanted to kiss everyone in this office."

Myles slightly blushed. "B-but that was just a joke." He started to panic internally. They know, but how? He never told a single soul except…

Bobby then slapped his back. "Not to worry, mate. It'll be a piece of cake for you; just be yourself."

Tara tried to brighten his spirits, "Look on the brightside Myles, the lounge looks very fancy and serves very good food that will match your Artisan tastes. Maybe they have surf and turf."

Seeing how uncomfortable Myles looked, Sue assured, "All we need you to do is go in there and make friends with Alexandre and Alain, and get them to trust you. It shouldn't take you long; ten minutes maybe? Unfortunately, it looks like they might be more than friends, and that's their preferred preference to meet. There's nothing much we can do now."

Myles squinted at Sue. She must've told everyone. Aside from Anne, Sue was the only one at work who knew his secret. "Whatever. I'll do it. I better get something in return; preferably donuts."

Everyone dispersed. Myles went back to his desk and collapsed into his chair. He couldn't believe that Sue told everyone that he was bisexual. He didn't want anyone to know for several reasons. He didn't want people to look at him differently, or snoop into his personal life and find out who he currently liked. If that person ever found out, he knew he would lose their friendship. He was also mad that no one else had been considered for the undercover mission. Everyone knew French, and they could have sent a woman; hell, they could have sent Howie, who would've been more convincing than him. He then looked over at Sue, and she made eye contact with him. She gasped when she saw him give her a look that she hadn't seen since her first day on the job. Hatred.

With several file folders in her hand, Sue dashed through the hallway with Levi at her side as always. She needed to drop off some reports at Randy's office before 4:00pm. She had to hurry, because not only was Randy expecting those reports, but she needed to prepare the script for Myles' meeting with lys rouge at the nightclub tomorrow. She stopped for a second to look at Levi. She said, "I know it's been a long day, Levi. But you can look forward to lasagna tonight."

Levi's ears perked, but before Sue could continue down the hallway, a boardroom door suddenly opened and grabbed her upper arm, hard. The arm pulled her inside the board room and she was flung into the nearest chair. The heavy door shut quietly so as to not rouse suspicion. Sue took a few quick breaths; whoever it was scared the crap out of her. She looked up and saw none other than Myles Leland, staring daggers into her soul.

He said in a gruff, yet stoic voice, "We need to talk, Thomas."

"Myles…"

Myles could hear Levi barking in the hallway. He quickly opened the door, told the mutt to get in, and Levi immediately went to Sue to seek refuge. After closing the door, Sue started:

"Myles, what're you doing? Why are you so angry?"

Myles said in a cold tone, "I trusted you, Thomas. With my life and reputation, I trusted you."

Sue thought to herself, "What is he going on about?" She'd never seen Myles this cold towards her since day one; a time when they were nothing more than adversaries. Myles placed his hands on his hips, and scolded her, "I can't believe you told the team that I'm bisexual. It's my first day back, and I have to come back…to…to this! This is something I never wanted the team to know about, and you just go out and…tell…why did you do it?..." he then trailed off, and ran his fingers through his hair, unintentionally styling it in a messy fashion. He then raised a finger at Sue and sneered, "Years ago, I told you in strict confidentiality; and I only did it because I knew you wouldn't be judgemental, wouldn't pry into my love life, and because we built a relationship of admiration and respect for one another."

"Myles," Sue said again, "I didn't say anything to the team. I always keep our promises."

Myles aimed a finger at the door, "You know, now that the secret is out, maybe I should go tell the team about your little suicide mission in Chicago three years ago; especially Jack! You went out there, unauthorized, to talk to a rampant killer amongst hails of gunfire and almost got killed because that killer was nice to you once. While everyone was out looking for you in the D.C. area, I actually found out where you were and why you were there, and took a plane that night to go get you. I was surprised that you and Levi didn't even get the slightest laceration during that chaos. I was going to tell Jack, but you asked me not to tell anyone, and I didn't."

"I know," Sue said, remembering that night well. "You scolded me for the entire taxi and plane ride home."

"Now, why did you tell the team?"

Sue said more sternly, "Myles, I didn't say anything to them. If you're referring to the team meeting, the team probably thought that out of everyone, you were just a fit for the undercover mission. Looking back, I can see how it made you think they knew, but…" what more could she say. "...please believe me. I would never betray you like that. Just like Jack and Bobby, I would take a bullet for you."

Myles took one giant breath to calm down his anger. He then thought for a moment. He knew that Sue couldn't lie to save her life, so she must be telling the truth. He then collapsed into the nearest chair, and rubbed a hand against his forehead. "I apologize. I jumped to conclusions."

"You know," Sue said, "maybe they already know and it's just not a big deal to them, so they don't bring it up. Or…if they don't know, will they really treat you that differently if you told them?"

"I just don't want anyone to know, especially the squad."

Sue then asked, "Why not?"

"Well, I don't know if you've noticed but the Bureau right now consists of 25% women and 75% men. I know that I'm already uncomfortable to be around, but if liking men is added to my resume, I will probably be intolerable, and lose friendships. Then, there will be questions, and knowing the team, everyone will be snooping into my personal business."

"Snooping?"

Myles gave an annoyed look, "finding out who I like."

"...Myles…you can still trust me…is there someone you like at the Bureau currently?"

Myles just stared at her. She continued, "To be honest Myles, we might like to get into each other's business, but it's because we care about each other. I don't think anyone will look at you differently; we are all family and we support each other, no matter our differences."

"And that's the problem, Sue. We are family." He adjusted himself in his chair. "You see, ever since I've been working here, I've dated both men and women. I've had one night stands, and relationships for a week or a month, but…I am incapable of holding a long-term romantic relationship with anyone, and it's not because of my lovely personality, engaging sense of humor, or sometimes bad decisions, but…because I'm in love with someone else, and can't let them go…even if I know they will never return my affections. It's almost like as soon as I start dating someone new, there's something inside of me that immediately finds a new way to break it off with that person."

"How long have you been in love with that person?"

"About ten years."

Sue then thought for a moment. She thought she'd press her luck in his currently vulnerable state and ask, "Are you able to tell me who it is? I won't say anything. Are they on the team?"

Myles looked away in shame. "Yeah…but I don't stand a chance anyway."

"Is it Jack?"

Myles shook his head. "You are crazy to think that. I would never date him, and he's dating you."

"...Bobby?"

Myles didn't deny it. Now that Sue thought about it, it made sense. They worked closely together as their desks were right against each other, they joked and took punches at one another, annoyed each other, and she always noticed that Myles had a certain expression and twinkle in his eye when he was around the man. Unfortunately, as far as both Sue and Myles knew, Bobby was straight and currently dating a lady named Beth.

Sue said, "I think you should tell him. That way you can get closure and move on…"

Sue was immediately interrupted by Myles. "I've told you enough. This conversation is over." He then got up, went to the boardroom door and opened it. He then lowered himself to pick up the reports that had fallen out of Sue's hands after he grabbed her, and put them into a neat pile. He handed them back to her. "See you during rehearsal, Ms. Thomas. And I'll make sure during the meeting tomorrow that you get the revenge you so desire."
