34: Kakashi vs. Orochimaru: Face to Face!
Suiren Uzumaki: The disclaimer: I do not own Naruto cause if I did then Sakura wouldn't be a useless fangirl in pre-shippuden, and Naruto would have his father's smarts while keeping his mother's personality and knows about seals and how to use to them. The Hatake ran through hand signs quickly before placed his hand over the Curse Mark and the Uchiha started to scream in pain.
"Curse Sealing!" Kakashi called out as the words of the seal started to surround the mark. "This Curse Sealing jutsu is only as strong as you are. It drives it's power from the strength of your will. If that will ever weakens...if you ever begin to doubt yourself, the curse will be unleashed in all it's furry." At that Sasuke fainted. "Hmphed. Amazing. To tired to even argue."
"My, how you've grown," a familiar voice told Kakashi making his eye widen in shock. "To think that you have become strong enough to preform the Curse Sealing Jutsu."
The Hatake looked over his right shoulder.
"You...Orochimaru."
"Long time no see, Kakashi," Orochimaru greeted with a smirk. "No offense, Kakashi, but I didn't come to see you. My business is with that boy behind you."
"What do you want with Sasuke?" Kakashi asked.
"You've required something new," the Snake Sannin stated. "How I envy your good fortune." The silver hair Jonin gasp slightly at that. "I don't believe you had it the last time that we meet, did you?" Kakashi glared with malice. "The gift. The Sharingan in your left eye. It's only fair that I would want it, too. The Uchiha power."
...My Line...
"Alright, everyone" Hayate asked as the screen lite up. "Moving onto the third match."
They all did as told and watched as the screen went through names.
...My Line...
"What's your game?" Kakashi asked him.
"Otogakure that everyone is curious about," Orochimaru started. "It's mine. You see, I created it. I think you understand without my saying anymore."
"Hmphed," Kakashi scoffed. "You and your wide eyed ambitions."
"Oh, yes, indeed. As always, but to play the game as you put it, I need pieces on the chess board...willing pawns to do my bidding."
"And Sasuke is one of your pawns?"
"Oh, not a pawn. He's a far more valuable piece then that, but as for the others...well...you know how it is in the game of chess. Pieces must be sacrificed."
...My Line..
Naruto and Lee were praying for their names to show for their turn while rest were being patient.
...My Line...
"But, there is one more piece that is just as valuable as Sasuke," Orochimaru informed Kakashi as he walked towards him and the down Uchiha.
"What?"
"Oh, yes," the Snake cackled. "And funny enough, that piece is another student of yours."
"Naruto?"
This got a laugh from the Sannin.
"No," he answered. "Not the Jinchuuriki though with what I saw in the forest maybe one day he will be, but it's the Miran."
"Raika," the Hatake gasped as it clicked.
"Yes," Orochimaru hissed. "Raika Senju." The silver hair Jonin gasped. "The only grandchild of the Nidaime Hokage, Tobirama Senju."
Kakashi growled as his looks turned to malice.
...My Line...
Naruto let out a gasp as two new names appeared.
Tsurugi Misumi vs. Kankuro Subaku
...My Line...
"I won't let you touch Sasuke nor Raika," the Hatake said. "Or Naruto!"
The Snake Sannin just laughed as he continued to walk forward to which the Konoha Jonin placed his hand facing the ground wile gripping his arm.
"Stop!" he yelled. "Don't come closer!" Orochimaru's eyes widen in surprise as chidori appeared in Kakashi's hand. "I don't care if you are one of the Sannin, the Three Shinobi of Legend. I swear, take one more step towards Sasuke and one of us will die here!" The Sannin laughed which made the Hatake angrier. "Funny is it?"
"Poor Kakashi. All of your noble efforts. All in vein."
"What?"
...My Line...
'Hah,' the puppet user thought. 'Finally. My turn.'
'Careful, Kankuro,' his Sensei thought. 'You've underestimating your opponent one time to many.'
'Hmph. Idiot.'
...My Line...
"Do you really believe that the seal will hold? Do you think you can keep him from what he truly desires? You know I'm right. A heart like his, hungrier for only one thing will not be deny. Not matter what obstacles you put into his path. He's an avenger...isn't he?"
"You think that you can take advantage of that? Not Sasuke."
...My Line...
'This guy,' Naruto thought as the two opponents walked to the middle of the field.
...My Line...
"You cannot stop it. At some point, he will come to me...*Turns around and starts to walk away*...in search of power. Unless of course, you care out your threat and kill me. Now, is your chance, take it...if you dare."
Orochimaru vanished as Kakashi stood there shaking.
'One of us will die here,' he thought in shock. 'I must have been out of my mind.'
He stood up straight and let out a breath of relief.
...My Line...
There was a sound of someone appearing in a bodyflicker making both Naruto and Raika to look behind them to see the silver hair Jonin.
"Kakashi-Sensei," Naruto said in surprise.
"Yo," he greeted them.
"Yeah, yeah," the greenette said. "Did you take care of that mark?"
"Don't worry about it," the Hatake told her as he gave her an eye smile. "Sasuke is sleeping soundly in the infirmary." He got a nod from the hidden Senju Princess. 'But, he's been put under guard by the ANBU Black Ops.'
...My Line...
"I'm not like Yoroi," Tsurugi stated as he faced Kankuro. "I don't get careless. Not even against kids."
"Ha."
"A piece of advice," the Misumi spoke. "Once I go and do my jutsu, give up...quick. If you do, I promise to make it short and painless."
"Funny," Kankuro said as he took the bundle off his back. "I was about to say the something. Though I can't promise it'll be painless."
"Alright, if you ready," the proctor spoke up. "Let the third match begin."
"Let me do you a favor and end this battle quickly," Kankuro stated as he slammed the butt of the bundle on the ground at his side.
"You can't end it if I end it first," the Misumi told him as he rushed forward. "A strike is all takes."
The Sand Genin blocked the attack only for his opponent to smirk before Tsurugi wrapped around him like a snake.
...My Line...
"Wow," Naruto breathed as he watched. "What's up with that guys body?" He looked over at Raika, who glanced at him. "That's freaky. I wish I can do that."
"More like creepy," the greenette stated. 'However...' She kept her eyes on the blonde, who was watching the match again. 'You don't need that kind of skill, Naruto. After all, you have the Wood Style Bloodline of your great-great grandfather.'
...My Line...
"I have dislocated everyone of my joints," the Misumi explained. "And softening my body and then my chakra, I can control it perfectly."
...My Line...
"With just his chakra?" Ino asked. "Wow." This made the Miran to snort and the Yamanaka looked over at her. "What? What's so funny?"
"What he is doing is also the fastest way to getting arthritis," the hidden female Senju told her as she looked at the female blonde. "I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't move without pain in a few years..." The younger Genin looked back at the field before smirking. "If he can survive this fight that is."
The Konoha Genin all looked at her in surprise at that while the Senseis all nodded their agreement though Kakashi did look proud of his female student.
...My Line...
"The more you struggle the tighter I'll squeeze," Tsurugi told Kankuro. "I don't know what your carrying in there, but as long as I have a hold of you. It makes no differences. I can break your neck right now if I wanted, too. And I will unless you give up."
"You want to bet?"
"Do you want to die?"
"You fool," the Sand Genin said. "Your the one whose going to die here."
This took his opponent as well as the proctor by surprise.
...My Line...
Every Genin was surprised an the Misumi broke Kankuro's neck.
...My Line...
"I think he broke his neck," Lee breathed in surprise.
This made Naruto to look at him freaked out while the rest where horrified.
...My Line...
"What's the big deal?" Gaara asked.
...My Line...
'What a fool,' Tsurugi thought. 'To bad he didn't surrender. Oh well.'
It was that something started to fall off the face of Kankuro.
...My Line...
"All Tsurugi Misumi did was sign his death warrant," Raika deadpanned as her eyes focused on the bundle while her fellow Konoha Genin looked at her. "ISN'T THAT RIGHT KANKURO SUBAKU!?"
A familiar laugh rung out at the question
...My Line...
Just then hide of Kankuro did a one eighty to reveal that it was a puppet.
"Now, it's my turn," Kankuro's voice said from the puppet. "So say goodbye."
Multiple arms shot out and wrapped themselves around the Misumi as the real Kankuro came out of the bundle.
'This is just a puppet,' the Konoha Genin thought in shock. 'The real ninja was in that bundle, controlling it. He's a puppet master!'
...My Line...
"He controls it with chakra from his hands," Hinata breathed in awe.
...My Line...
Tsurugi cried out as the arms of the puppet kept getting tighter around him.
"G-Get off of me!"
However, the puppet kept squeezing him.
"If your bones are all crushed think of how much more flexible, you'll be?" Kankuro asked with a smirk.
Hayate coughed into his head.
'That was close,' he thought. 'I almost stopped the match in the middle. It's a good thing that I didn't.' Tsurugi let out a groan before collapsing to the ground. "Because of his opponent being unable to continue...the winner is Kankuro Subaku."
...My Line...
"Two against one is hitting blew the belt, isn't it?" Naruto asked as Kakashi looked at him with a wide eye. "I mean, is that thing even fair, Kakashi-Sensei?"
"It's not really two against one," the Hatake answered. "It's a puppet. Not another ninja."
"It's the Puppet Master Jutsu, Aniki," Raika added. "Didn't I teach you about it?"
"Nope," the blonde answered.
"Huh," the greenette blinked a few times. "My bad. Sorry Naruto." The Uzumaki just waved it away as he knew that she didn't do it on purpose. "Anyways, he's controlling the puppet with chakra. It a tool for Sand Ninjas...you know, like a shuriken." She watched as the medics took the Misumi away. 'This guy...I will need to keep an eye on him as well have my senses up in the finals.' The Miran turned around and headed for the stairs. "I'm going to the restroom."
"Okay," Naruto and Kakashi said as she walked away.
...My Line...
The greenette stood at the sink in the female's restroom as she fixed her ponytail and readjusted her ribbon before she turned on the faucet and splashed water onto her face. However, as she was drying her face off, her eyes widen before she looked up into the mirror to see the Yamanaka standing right behind her.
"Ino..."
"You sure are jumpy," the blonde stated. "Raika."
This got a snort from the greenette.
"I have to applaud you, Ino," the Miran said as she continued to dry her face. "Not many people can sneak up on me."
"Huh, thanks," Ino said in shock before she quickly shook her head. "Anyways, I know why. I mean, even Sasuke collapsed. It's probably because he's so great that is all that happened. Frankly, I wouldn't want to imagine what would happen to you if you compete. I think it's best if you quit, don't you?"
Raika turned off the water before she once again readjusted her ribbon.
'Ino doesn't know what she's talking about,' the hidden Senju Princess thought as she the paper towel away. 'I can't let Hiruzen-Sensei, Koharu-Sensei, and Homura-Sensei down. Not ever.' "I won't quit. Not ever." This took the Yamanaka by surprised as the greenette walked to the door only to stop and look at her. "I can't wait for my turn after all."
The blonde watched her walk out of the restroom with surprise.
...My Line...
"Now, let's continue," Hayate said as Raika returned to her team. "It's time to begin the fourth battle."
Screen started to run through names again.
...My Line...
"No matter whose picked, it'll be two weirdos," Naruto stated as the Miran returned. "This contest is chalked full of them."
"Well, your one to talk," the Hatake said.
"For once, I have to agree with you," Raika seconded with a smirk.
"Hey!" the Uzumaki yelled. "Give me a break!"
This made the greenette to giggle a bit only for Kakashi to place his hand on her shoulder.
"This isn't the time for laughter," he told her as he pointed towards the screen once it stopped.
Blinking in surprise, Raika looked at it to see two names that she never thought would be put against each other.
Raika Miran vs Ino Yamanaka
This made her to look at the female blonde, who was just looking, to see her just as surprised. Ino looked over at her with surprise before narrowing her to which the greenette returned in kind before they walked back towards the stairs.
...My Line...
The two girls soon stood in front of each other on the battle field.
"I never thought I'd fight you," Ino stated. "At least, I didn't think it would happen this soon. Don't expect me to go ease on you."
"I should be the one saying that," Raika said with a growl.
...My Line...
'Ino was a standout among the rookie female shinobi,' thought Asuma. 'So, she has a good chance to win with Raika as her opponent. However, can she hardened herself to do it?'
"Of all the people for Ino to go up against," Shikamaru sighed. "It had to been the one person, who trains more seriously then even a Jonin. What a mess."
"I know," Choji agreed. "I hope that Raika doesn't destroy Ino's self-confidence to much."
"Say what?" Team 10's Sensei asked in shock.
His two male students just looked at each other before looking back at the girls as they don't even bother answering.
...My Line...
"GO RAI-CHAN *"STOP CALLING ME THAT! DAMN IT!"*! YOU CAN DO IT! DON'T LOSE!"
...My Line...
"Begin!" Hayate announced.
Raika held her hands out to where her palms faced where the ball of fire came from with her fingertips inches apart again and then clapped them together.
"Water Style: Water Shockwave!"
...My Line...
Many eyes widen while Naruto smirked, Hiruzen nodded his head, and Kakashi cackled.
...My Line...
A stream of water swirled around her as she pulled it from the air before she sent the high-pressure water towards Ino, who was to shocked to dodge. Using the moment that the high-pressured water hit the Yamanaka, Raika shot forward with tremendous speed making her look like a blur.
...My Line...
"What?" Kiba gasped in shock. "There is not water in the training ground of the Tower! So, how did she do that!?"
"Her affinity for the water element is as high as Lord Tobirama's was rumored to be," Kakashi answered him. "So, it doesn't matter if there is no water around. As long as there is water in the air, then Raika can use her water affinity..." He gave an eye smile to the dog using Genin. "And yes, that includes being able to pull water from the air within even the desert."
"Say what!?" the Inuzuka yelled in shock.
...My Line...
Ino's back hit the wall behind her before the greenette's fist slammed into her stomach making her to cough up spit and blood. The Miran jumped back as the blonde fell to her knees while coughing as she held her stomach.
"Your pathetic, Ino," Raika snarled. "You don't deserve to be a Kunoichi." A cruel, cold smirk came to the slightly younger girl's face. "I am truly surprised that you haven't gotten your team and yourself killed yet with how weak you are."
...My Line...
"KAKASHI!" both Kurenai and Asuma yelled as they glared at him.
"What?" he asked in surprise.
"You should have taught her how to respect her fellow Kunoichis as your student is going way to far with her words," the Yuhi told him.
The Hatake snorted at that.
"Me?" he asked in amusement as he pointed at himself. "Teach Raika respect for her fellow Kunoichis?"
"Yes," Asuma answered.
At this both Naruto and the silver hair Jonin busted up laughing.
"Rai-chan doesn't respect Kunoichis, who don't take their chosen career seriously," the Uzumaki informed them. "To her, they are disgraces to the title Kunoichi and have made all the serious Kunoichis laughing stocks." He looked at Kurenai. "The only Kunoichi in our age group that she respects is Hinata...and maybe Tenten, but that one I am not to sure of, so I can't say."
Kakashi looked back at the arena.
"Raika is only trying to get Ino to see that how she is approaching her chosen career path isn't the way to go about it," he added. "She isn't saying those things to actually be mean to Ino. She is trying to save not only Miss Yamanaka's life, but the life of those Ino would be teamed up with in the future."
This made the two secret lovers [A/N: They were lovers in pre-shippuden just like they were in shippuden. And I will stand by that] share a look with each other before looking back at the fight.
...My Line...
It was then to everyone's shock, the hidden female Senju removed her hitai-ate and placed it in her hip pouch.
"In fact, you do not deserve for me to fight you like an equal," Raika told her coldly. "And I will never see you as an equal...IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR FUCKING HEAD OUT OF SASUKE EMO BITCH UCHIHA'S ASS AND TAKE THIS FUCKING LIFE SERIOUSLY BEFORE YOU GET SOMEONE KILLED!"
...My Line...
"I really like her," Kurotsuchi snirked.
"I'll say," Akatsuchi agreed.
"She isn't pulling her punches, is she?" the other one asked.
"No, she isn't Yamitsuchi," Roshi answered. "Not your typical Tree Hugger, huh?"
"Nope," the three younger ones agreed.
...My Line...
Temari snorted with laughter.
"Finally!" she cheered. "A Konoha Kunoichi after my own heart!"
"Temari," Baki stressed.
This just made the female to roll her eyes
...My Line...
"I do take this career seriously," Ino growled as she stood up. "And don't call Sasuke an Emo Bitch!"
Raika snorted as she fell into her taijutsu stance.
"Yeah right," she cackled. "If you took this career seriously then you wouldn't be on a diet AND you would have more muscles while still having a figure." Wine-red eyes looked up at the balconies. "I mean, look." The Miran swept her hand to the female Jonin leader of Team 8. "Kurenai Yuhi, one of the top Genjutsu users outside of the Uchiha Clan, is considered one of the Beauties of Konoha. She's good in her art and still has a figure to kill for BECAUSE she DOESN'T diet."
...My Line...
Kurenai's eyes widen at that as she blushed a bit at the praise.
...My Line...
"Anko Mitarashi," Raika went on as she pointed at the second exam proctor. "She eats nothing, but dango and red bean soup AND still LOOKS like a GOD DAMN SUPERMODEL!"
...My Line...
This time it was Anko's turn to blush at the praise.
...My Line...
"And then there was Lady Kushina Uzumaki, one of the rare female Jonins of the Leaf," the Miran continued. "And the proud mother of Naruto Uzumaki. She could go toe to toe with the 7 Swordmen of the Mist and come out on top with hardly any scratch...in only a sword fight, mind you...and was still considered one of the rare beauties of Konoha AND she also DIDN'T diet."
...My line...
Naruto looked down embarrassed as everyone looked at him in surprise while Kakashi was nodding his head as he agreed with everything said.
...My Line...
"Do you SEE where am I going with this, Ino?" Raika asked. "If the kunoichis that I have just listed can look the way they do and still be powerful...all without DIETING...then YOU are NOT taking being a KUNOICHI seriously at all. And until, you see that then do not expect me to take you seriously as well." The greenette placed her hands together. "And I hope that this fight helps you come to your senses, Ino." She ran through hands a few hand signs. "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!"
A serpentine looking water dragon with yellow eyes rose up from the water on the ground while gathering more from the air before launching at the Yamanaka, who could only stare in shock and fear. However, it didn't hit her as it was sliced in half by the Miran, who resheathed her tantō, before slamming her fist into Ino's face.
...My Line...
"Why did she sliced her jutsus in half like that?" Lee asked as he looked confused.
"It's because, no matter how much she cut Ino down with her words, Raika would never seriously harm someone from Konoha with a high power jutsu," Kakashi answered. "Even in a fight like this."
...My Line...
Raika then grabbed the Yamanaka by her hair and slammed the female blonde's face into her knee before latching out without her foot. Ino went flying back from the kick to her stomach, but before she hit the wall a second time, the greenette was right there with a hand around her throat and slamming her into the ground.
"Do you see now, Ino?" the Miran asked. "Do you see the difference between our power levels? The difference between us completely?" She grabbed Ino by her ponytail and lifted her to her knees. "It's about time, you lose the long hair, Ino." An even crueler smirk came to the hidden Senju Princess' face. "After all, only an Uzumaki female can pull off the long hair look." Then to everyone's shock, Raika used a kunai to cut Ino's hair before she threw the strains off the side. "That's much better."
...My Line...
"Talk about harsh," the green wearing Genin said.
"Oh, that's nothing," Naruto snorted. "I mean, she could have shaved all of Ino's hair off until the other girl was completely bold."
Tenten snorted at that as well.
...My Line...
The greenette grabbed the Yamanaka by her face, channeled chakra through her arms, and then slammed her back into the ground. The hidden female Senju then stepped away from Ino and allowed Hayate to step forward to look as she looked up at the Hokage.
'Looks like Ino Yamanaka has had it,' the Gekko thought before he gave a cough making the Miran to look back at him. "The winner of this match is Raika Miran!"
...My Line...
"ALRIGHT!" Naruto cheered. "WAY TO GO, RAI-CHAN!"
...My Line...
A vein popped onto Raika's forehead at what Naruto called, but she ignored him in favor of walking towards Ino with her hands covered in healing chakra. Asuma, who appeared to check on his student, watched in shock and surprise as the Miran healed her opponent before the medics could run out and help.
"She'll be fine," the greenette informed him. "Her pride will be bruised and her confidence a bit broken." She stood up, stepped back, and looked the Son of the Third. "But, if you play your cards right then she'll make a full recovery and become a stronger Kunoichi."
The Sarutobi was surprised, but he gave a nod.
"Thank you," he thanked her.
Raika just nodded as well before turning to head back up the stairs as the screen ran through names for the fifth time. It soon stopped on two more names as she walked past Team 9 aka Team Gai.
Tenten Higurashi Vs Temari Subaku
...My Line...
Tenten and Temari both walked out onto the field and faced each other.
'I'm so ready,' the Konoha Genin thought. 'After watching that last match, I'm fired up.'
...My Line...
"So, this is another Genin from Sunagakure?" Neji asked.
"GO TENTEN!" Lee cheered.
"This should be interesting to watch."
"ALRIGHT!"
...My Line...
Ino blinked her eyes opened in confusion.
"So, finally waking up, huh, Ino?" Raika asked as she stood leaning against the wall.
...My Line...
"GO TENTEN!" Lee cheered on. "USE THE POWER OF YOUTH!"
"That's the way Lee," Gai agreed. "Let us show our support. YOU CAN DO IT, TENTEN!"
"TAKE HER DOWN TENTEN!"
...My Line...
"Our match is over," the Miran informed her.
This made Ino tear up a bit.
"So, did I...did I lose?" she asked.
The greenette looked at her as she heard the soft voice the other female was using.
"Yeah," she answered. "But, you can learn from this and become even stronger, Ino." This made the Yamanaka to look up at her. "The things I said, how I said them, and how I acted..." She let out a sigh as she looked at the blonde female. "I only did those things because I do not want to see anyone from my village die on a mission..." The Miran looked back towards the new match. "And all because of a teammate not taking their training seriously."
"What?"
"If anyone from Konoha should die on a mission it should be because of bad intel or because the opponent was stronger," Raika stated. "Not because a teammate decided that chasing a boy or girl was more important then training and becoming stronger." The greenette pushed off the wall. "I'm not saying that one shouldn't have a crush cause Kami knows I had one myself...and no it's not nor has it ever been Sasuke." Ino blushed at the thought she had. "In fact, I would never date Sasuke even if he was the last man on earth."
"Yeah, your right," Ino sighed. "Sorry for thinking that you liked Sasuke as well."
"It's fine," Raika said as she waved it off. "Just focus more on your training then on Sasuke and your looks. Alright?"
The Yamanaka smiled before nodding her head.
"Yeah."
The Miran smiled at her before walking towards the railing to watch the fight as she retied her hitai-ate onto her forehead.
...My Line...
"For the fifth match," Hayate said as he looked at the two girls. "Tenten, Temari...get ready."
The two girls stared at each other as they watched for their match to begin.
...My Line...
Suiren Uzumaki: To the review left by danj09290 from the last chapter: Oh, he will, but it won't stick. *Busted out laughing* Ain't that the truth, but really it's just Sasuke, who gets the female Senju's fist. And don't worry, once Sakura meets Tsunade, she'll get that much needed lesson. Damn, you hit that right on the head, seeing as Sasuke, Naruto, and Raika are the Madara, Hashirama, and Tobirama of the new generation and all. Also, thanks for the advice though I am not really stressing out over though I am stress, but it is more to do with trying find another job then getting my main laptop fixed.
