Prologue
Natsu Dragneel, once a proud member and heart of the guild fairy tail now weeps tears of frustration at being unable to protect his guildmates. "Gramps, Gildarts, Lucy… everyone I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to protect you." he cries then he hears footsteps and turns to find the source of them and sees the reason they're dead Acnologia in his human form they had just finished a war with the Alvarez Empire they had just barely won however it left them all exhausted and when Acnologia attacked they were unprepared for the battle and were slaughtered.
Flashback
Natsu was making the trek back to fairy tail after defeating Zeref, his older brother, who turned him into a demon, when he heard a roar one, he would never forget, not after the Tenrou island incident. Acnologia was here and headed to the guild hall so Natsu started running as fast as he could in hopes he would make it in time to stop him, however when he arrived, he was too late.
In the remains of the once proud Fairy Tail guild hall was the remains of his guildmates and hanging from 6 wooden posts were the other dragon slayers Wendy Marvel, Sting Eucliffe, Rogue Cheney, Gajeel Redfox and even the second-generation dragon slayers were not spared in fact they had it worse as the only reason he was able to tell that they were Laxus and Cobra was because of his enhanced dragon slayer senses.
He collapsed to his knees as he roared to the heavens a sorrowful painfilled sound that could be heard for miles.
Present
Natsu stood up albeit shakily as he stared down Acnologia with rage in his eyes as he charged towards him, he screamed "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!". However, Acnologia was too fast in the blink of an eye he dodged and grabbed Natsu by the neck as he slowly crushed it, not before saying "no you were the one too weak to save them, you were the one who failed to be there for them.".
Then every slowly faded as darkness took over Natsu's vision
Thus, spelling the end of Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail
