"Hi" Japanese

"-Hi-" English

Author's Notes 1: So I've been rereading my earlier chapters and saw more than a few typos. Currently I don't have anyone to pre-read this but myself so I do miss stuff. I'll try to go back and fix those errors I missed when I get the time. For now I hope you all enjoy!

Once more in her uniform, Midna made her way to Nezu's office, having told her friends to find a nearby café to wait at since the Twili didn't know how long she'd be, "Enter," Nezu called. Once Midna was sitting in the chair Nezu grinned, "Ahh Miss Midoriya. Would you like some tea before we start?"

"Yes please," Midna nodded, the Chimera quickly putting together the cups.

"Now then, how can I help you today?" Nezu inquired.

"Two things," Midna stated after taking a sip, "First do you know anyone who can teach me how to use my new scimitars?"

Nezu nodded, "I know a couple of people…. I'm guessing you'd like an Underground Hero to teach you?"

"If possible but as long as I'm able to learn how to properly use them I'll manage," Midna replied with a small grin, "I'm guessing you went over the request forms and know what they can do?"

"Indeed," Nezu smiled, "I must say I'm impressed. Few people go into the field of Heroics and get a support item specifically with the 'Better have it and not need it' mindset."

"It takes a bit of digging and you find that Heroes across the globe have killed at least once," Midna sighed, "Honestly I feel like Japan should be more open about that instead of showing all Heroes as pure Paragon's but I digress."

Nezu nodded grimly, "I concur. Playing ostrich helps no one, but enough about that. I'll look into getting you a proper weapons tutor. I believe the second thing you wish to discuss is this club of yours?"

"Yup!" Midna grinned, "Basically I want to make something where students from multiple years and courses can come together to swap tips, ideas and the like."

"And the most Chaotic students would be the ideal people to join?" Nezu inquired with a grin.

"Of course!" Midna snickered, "It always helps to have a group that can think outside the box!"

Nezu spilled his tea as he cackled, the more he learned about this student the more he liked her, "I must admit this is refreshing! Very few people acknowledge what a useful skill thinking outside the box is!"

"If possible I would also like you to be the teacher overseeing the club," Midna said, causing Nezu to freeze in shock. Something that made Midna smirk.

"I… I'm sorry, what?" Nezu asked, "You want me to oversee the club? Why not Aizawa or Midnight?"

"Aizawa-Sensei already needs more sleep since he's working a night and day job," Midna pointed out, "And Midnight-Sensei… well even I have a limit on how many innuendos I can take even if she didn't make that many in class. You however are still the top Detective Hero in Japan despite running U.A. meaning you know how to multitask… and look at this this way. You'll get to teach everyone in the club vital skills that most heroes ignore, such as critical thinking… and yes I am thinking about Endeavor when I say that. Man throws around his Quirk with the same restraint Warhammer Forty-K Ork's throw around Daka… that is to say, none at all."

Nezu sighs, "As much as part of me wants to deny that considering he is an alumni of this school, I cannot. Out of all current Heroes he is the one with the most collateral and civilian casualties in his record."

Midna nodded and paused before her impish grin appeared, "Perhaps something the Chaos Core can do is a presentation on the Do's and Don'ts of modern Heroics? And if you were to help us find credible sources…"

"Then news of it would spread like wildfire with how much students love to gossip!" Nezu stated before cackling, "Why Miss Midoriya I like the way you think. Very well, once you have a minimum of eight students, I will green light the club."

"Well there's me, Set-Chan, and Rei-Chan," Midna said in thought, "Bro would be more of an honorary member since he's either Lawful-Neutral or Neutral-Good… plus having him there would help keep the rest of us from going too far. Apart from us, Hagakure-san, Ashido-san, Kaminari-san and Asui-san were interested so there's your eight. Yaoyorozu-san and possibly Jiro-san might be interested in joining and I want to ask Tsunotori-Chan in 1-B. I don't know anyone in the Support, General or Business courses yet…"

"I already have two students in mind," Nezu interrupted, already typing away on his computer before handing Midna a sheet of paper with two pictures, "It's a shame the Commission put a damper on normal after school clubs, preferring the students to put all their focus on their studies, instead of keeping the phrase 'All work and no play' in mind. For possible members there is Mei Hatsume in the Support Course 1-C. A prodigy from the reports but has… shall we say a 'respectful disregard' for some safety protocols. The new Support students only had access to the lab this morning and she already caused five explosions."

"Controlled explosions are fun though," Midna snickered, "And did she give a reason why she caused them?"

"Two actually! First is to test her inventions or 'babies' as she calls them in as many ways as possible so they don't fail on the field. Second is and I quote 'Explosions are the mother of inventions!' end quote. The second student is Hinata Urata in the Second Year Business Course. She's a rather straightforward person, and if the Chaos Core goes on to become one large Hero Agency she'll be able to not only keep the paperwork in line but the Heroes as well… as for her Chaotic side… well she can be a bit of a prankster according to her records."

"Hey chaos is chaos," Midna shrugged, "It comes in many incarnations...and people should have a respect for one who knows paperwork inside and our fot they can and will turn it against you."

"Indeed," Nezu nodded, "Please speak to me once you confirm who will be and won't be joining the club. Once that happens I'll be able to make a proper schedule for when the club can meet and which room you can use."

"Thanks Nezu-Sensei," Midna grinned as she got to her feet, "And thanks for the tea."

"You are welcome Midoriya-San," Nezu replied, "I will let you know when I've found your requested weapon teacher."

Making her way out of the school, Midna sent Izuku a text, and quickly got a reply telling her where everyone was. When she arrived at the café which much to her amusement was Zelda themed, she quickly found the couple tables her friends had occupied, and that as expected, Yaoyorozu, Hagakure, Ashido, Kaminari, Jiro, Tsu and Tsunotori were there too, "Alright. So The Chaos Core is a go. I just need to get confirmation on who's joining,"

"You can count us in!" Ashido cheered, getting nods all around, "What else did Sensei say?"

"Well he told me about two people I could talk to, one is a first year Support Course Student, the second is a second year in the Business Course," Midna explained, "Though Sensei did make the suggestion that the Chaos Core becomes its own Hero Agency once we all graduate. Something to talk about later though. For now let's hand things over to Yaomomo on those lessons on how to respectfully tell the vultures to 'flock off'," Everyone chuckled and Yaoyorozu began her surprisingly simple lesson on telling the press to leave you alone.

The next morning, just like the budding group of friends expected, the press had swarmed the front of U.A. and were hounding every student that tried to enter the school. Turning to the others, Midna turned to her large group of friends and said, "Ok everyone we have two options here. Option one is we go up and politely tell them all to leave since I doubt they want Nezu to sue them for harassment, or two… I pull everyone into my shadow, slip through the gate and let them deal with the fall out. All in favor of each option, speak now!"

"Honestly…" Kaminari said scratching his head, "As much as I want to put Yaomomo's lessons to work, I say option two. They got themselves into a situation that could piss of Principle Nezu, so they should deal with the consequences."

"In some ways I disagree," Hagakure said, "I wanna see the looks on their faces when they get reminded not to mess with Principal Nezu… I mean this isn't the first time this has happened but it appears they've forgotten about the ramifications of angering Japan's Number One Detective Hero," The rest of the votes came in with the final total being five votes on sneaking past in Midna's shadow, and six for telling them to leave.

Midna nodded with a wide grin, "The votes are in. Let's go, everyone! Time to remind these vultures to find their food somewhere else. Yaomomo you've got the most experience with the press so you'll be the one reminding them of the facts alright?" The Heiress nodded a small grin crossing her lips, "Forward march!"

As the group of students drew near, the press all turned to shout questions at the students but before they could Yaoyorozu leveled a stern look at the over zealous press, "All of you should be ashamed of yourselves! Is a story about All Might really worth harassing students? Worth risking Principle Nezu's wrath? This isn't the first time members of the press have swarmed U.A. and I'm sure no one wants a repeat of last time."

The many reporters gulped with only a single woman who was standing off to the side and watching everything unfold, remained calm. She has pale lilac hair that flowed around her head and went down to her waist, pale blue skin, the sclerae of her eyes are completely black, while her irises are lime green with long eyelashes, and the students could barely make out her golden hoop earrings as they were hidden by her hair. She was wearing a simple yet elegant black dress, under a salmon red jacket with black fur trim around her neck, and brown laced high boots, "She's right you know," The lady said practically purring with amusement.

"Shut up Chitose-San!" Someone yelled out, "You're here too aren't you?"

"Only because I set up an appointment with Nezu-San two months ago, for an interview that has nothing to do with All Might," Chitose replied with a small smug smirk. She then turned and gave a small nod to the students who were still waiting for the path to clear, "Now perhaps you all could let the students pass so they're not late?" The press grumbled but moved back to let the students pass.

"Thank you ma'am," Midna said with a small nod. She didn't know why but something about this woman put the young Twili on edge and glancing at her brother told her he felt the same.

"You are most welcome young lady. Take care and I look forward to when you all become pros!" Chitose replied, giving the group a kind smile.

Once though the gate they saw Aizawa and Snipe waiting for them, "Good job with getting past the paparazzi, better get inside before the next group of students arrive and they get wild again," Giving the teacher a nod the group quickly made their way inside.

As they left, Snipe stepped forward and tilted his hat, "Miss Chitose?" Chitose stepped forward and showed the Western Hero her ID, "Pleasure to make your acquaintance ma'am. Here's your Guest Pass. Please follow me to your interview with the principal. Once your interview is over someone will lead you back and you'll have to return that. We don't want to take any risks with the students' safety."

"An unfortunate but understandable precaution," The women nodded and gave a kind smile, "I for one am glad to see the rumors of how seriously U.A.'s takes security are true," Snipe nodded before leading the only member of the press who followed the proper channels into the school.

When Aizawa entered the classroom everyone quickly quieted down, "Alright before we get to today's lesson I'll quickly go over a few things from your Practical Heroics Lesson yesterday…" He then went over the first two matches, giving advice and critique in equal measure. When he got to the match that was canceled he simply said, "Todoroki I want to talk to you about a few things later in private, and Bakugo calm down. Getting angry about things not going your way is not a good quality in any kind of Hero," Said blond glared at his Sensei before turning to glare out the window.

When he got to the match between Midna and Tokoyami against Sero and Uraraka he gave a small nod, "I must admit I'm a little impressed that the Villain Team thought of moving the bomb to a different location. Not many First Years realize that running away is a legitimate tactic. Most are almost obsessed with simply beating the snot out of the Villain and gaining fame and renown that way. Sometimes getting all the civilians out of danger and retreating is the correct choice… oh and before I forget. Nezu is already narrowing down prospective people to teach you how to use the scimitar Problem Child Number Two."

"Got it Sensei, and I'm willing to bet that you found at least part of that match amusing," Midna grinned.

Aizawa didn't respond to the verbal poke and just moved on, "For the final match I am impressed with how quickly Kaminari's new way of using his Quirk is working so well. I assume you've been practicing in your free time?"

"Yes sir," Kaminari nodded, "I've been practicing using the electricity internally, as I do my normal exercises in my backyard. Less risk of zapping any electronics that way since we have a Lightning Rod back there so I can practice."

"A logical course of action to have nearby with an Electric Quirk in the house," Aizawa nodded, "The last thing I have to say about the match before we move on is. Kirishima, just because you can take a lot of damage due to your Quirk doesn't mean you should. You might find an opponent who deals damage so quickly that you can't keep up. I suggest trying to find a balance between tanking blows, and dodging them."

Kirishima nodded despite his frown, possibly because he still saw dodging/running away as 'cowardly' "Yes Sensei."

"Next… You all need to choose your class Rep and Vice Rep," Aizawa stated before yawning and slipping his yellow sleeping bag, "Figure this out for yourselves. I need a nap due to a late night doing Hero work. Just make sure it's taken care of by the end of class and you clean up any mess you make."

"I'm stepping out of the running," Midna said before everyone could begin shouting out that they wanted the spot getting many to look at her, "I'll already have enough on my hands with the club, and homework… plus do you all really want me to be your class rep considering how chaotic I am?" She flashed her large impish smile, making a few people shudder.

"I'm also pulling out," Izuku said, "I simply don't want the job"

Tsu went to the white board and held up a marker and wrote down her name, "Ok so who does want the job?"

A few moments later they had their list of Tsuyu Asui, Tenya Ida, Denki Kaminari, Katsuki Bakugo, Hanta Sero, Toru Hagakure, and Momo Yaoyorozu. Yaoyorozu quickly made a box with a small slit and twenty slips of paper, "Alright now write down your vote on the paper, put it in the box and the two with the most votes get the jobs. Midna would you and your brother mark down who got votes since you two were the first to withdraw?"

"Sure," Midna said, getting up to grab the box while Izuku passed out the slips of paper. Once they had all the votes the siblings went to the front of the class and quickly went through the ballots and put marks next to each name.

"Alright… that's the last of them," Izuku said, stepping back as the class looked at the results.

Tsuyu Asui: five votes

Tenya Ida: zero votes

Denki Kaminari: three votes

Katsuki Bakugo: one vote

Hanta Sero: two votes

Toru Hagakure: three votes

Momo Yaoyorozu: six votes

"Looks like Momo Yaoyorozu is our Class Rep with Tsuyu Asui as our Vice Rep!" Midna said with a grin, "Congratulations you two!"

"I'll do my best, Kero," Tsu croaked with a small smile.

"Agreed," Yaoyorozu nodded.

"WHY DID I ONLY GET ONE VOTE WHILE FROGGER AND PONYTAIL HAVE FIVE AND SIX VOTES?!" Bakugo roared as he slammed his hands on the desk.

"Not even a single vote…" Ida said, stunned, "I… how?"

"Perhaps because almost no one likes Bakugo's attitude and you really need to learn that reinforcing the rules is fine and all but you take it way too far?" Sero offered with a shrug, his normal grin still on his face, apparently not bothered by not becoming a class rep.

Aizawa stirred and slowly rose out of his sleeping bag grumbling, "Should have added 'keep the noise down' to those rules…" Glancing at the board he nodded. Those were good choices, with both girls being level headed and polite, "I must admit I'm surprised Aoyama isn't on this list."

"While I would have loved to be représentante… I would prefer to use the time to work towards overcoming mon génétique flaw," Aoyama said with a dramatic pose and small sparkles appearing around his head, "Though I have no doubt that mademoiselles Yaoyorozu and Asui will do wonderfully as our representatives!"

Checking the clock Aizawa said, "We've got a little more time so let's go over the responsibilities of the Class Representatives."

At lunch as the future Chaos Core ate Midna scanned the room, looking to see if Mei Hatsume was there… and when she saw the bright pink dreadlocks and steampunk goggles sitting alone on the other side of the room, Midna grinned, "Be right back. Have a potential club member to talk to."

"Go forth and spread the Chaos!," Ashido giggled, "and remember to have fun!"

Midna cackled as she got up and walked over to where Hatsume was sitting, and as Midna got close saw the chaotic inventor was… pouting? "Hey. What's with that face? Is it because you're annoyed you got kicked out of the lab for lunch?"

Hatsume looked up and Midna could see the scope lens like lines in her green-yellow eyes, "Got it in one… I don't recognize you, what course are you in?"

"Name's Midna Midoriya, but call me Midna. I'm in the Hero Course and I have a proposition for you."

"Oh?" Hatsume's eyes lit up in interest.

"I've already spoken to Nezu about starting a club where people from multiple courses come together to swap ideas, train and generally grow stronger, and you are currently the only person in the Support Course I know of who's chaotic enough to join. This would mean that not only would you be the main Support Tech for all the Hero Course club members, but you'd…"

"I'm in!" Hatsume interrupted, her eyes gleaming as she picked up a messenger bag that was sitting on the bench next to her and slung it over her shoulder, "How many people are in the club so far? What are their Quirks? What support gear do they use?!"

Midna laughed, "All it took was saying you're the main Support Tech… fair enough! Come on, I'll introduce you to the rest," Midna led the excited inventor back to her friends, "Everyone this is Mei Hatsume, a first year Support Student…"

"Work first, fun later," Hatsume said, pulling a notebook and pen out her bag, "Quirks and support items? If I'm gonna be your go to Support Tech I need to know this," The next few minutes was just Hatsume writing down info on everyone's Quirk's and current Support Gear. Once that was complete she nodded and put the book back, "Ok… fair warning I can be and I quote 'in your face' about Support Items."

"Don't worry about it," Kaminari said with a large smile, "I know I put my foot in my mouth more often than I'd like."

"Literally or figuratively?" Hatsume inquired.

"Figuratively" Kaminari chuckled.

Hatsume then looked at Yaoyorozu with a frown, "First… that book and bookshelf have to go. They're way too cumbersome and if you fall on your back, that shelf will break your spine, while the book would take way too long to look through on the field. I'll work on a wrist mounted computer for you… would you prefer a holographic screen or something similar to a DBZ scouter to see the compounds you need? Oh better yet! a combo where the scouter screen is a hologram!"

Yaoyorozu blinked in surprise as she processed Hatsume's statement and face palmed, "How did I not realize that shelf was dangerous…"

"Basic oversight," Hatsume shrugged, "Now I know what your Quirk does… and I am going to make so many requests for hard to get parts and rare metals, but do you need that much exposed skin? Would a DNA infused suit work? That would give you additional armor."

Yaoyorozu sighed and shook her head, "Sadly no. My parents tried that when I was younger but the fabric would wear out incredibly quickly due to the nature of my Quirk and how often I would use it. As a Hero I would use it far more often than when I was a child."

"Hmm… so some kind of easy to remove armored outfit… gonna need a mix of kevlar and those reinforced nanofibers I've heard about for that…" Hatsume said her notebook back in hand as she wrote down more notes, "Let's see… zippers could work… but might get caught on the new object. Velcro? No, that sound would give you away if you're on a stealth mission… buttons are too cumbersome… oh! HIdden flaps that the object can easily push apart before returning to their previous state! That'll take a while to figure out but it's both possible and the best option I can think of."

"What about me?" Ashido asked, "What kind of gear can you think of for my Acid Quirk?"

"A couple small tanks that you can fill with various kinds of acid," Hatsume replied instantly, "Such as the extra slippery kind as you described earlier to one suited to putting out fires if you can figure that kind out… grenades are an obvious choice, as are shoes with small holes on the bottom so you can use your acid to skate around without hampering normal traction. You on the other hand…" The pink haired inventor pointed at Kaminari, "You need a power breaker to keep yourself from frying your brain, and perhaps some kind of launchable disk that you can use to make your electricity more useful at long range…"

Before she could continue an alarm rang out as thick metal plates slammed shut over the windows and doors, "SECURITY LEVEL THREE BREACH. REPEAT LEVEL THREE BREACH. ALL STUDENTS IN THE LUNCHROOMS, AUDITORIUM AND CLASSROOMS PLEASE REMAIN SEATED AS THE ROOMS SECURITY HAS BEEN ACTIVATED. ALL OTHER STUDENTS PLEASE EVACUATE IF POSSIBLE…"

"Let's see… level one would most likely be the barrier is under attack," Midna said, her mind whirling as she tried to figure out what was going on, "Second would be the gate was destroyed, so third…"

"At least one person is on the grounds proper," Izuku concluded with a nod, "Can you send one of your wolves out to find out what's going on?"

"Better not," Yaoyorozu stated, "That might make things worse."

"Yeah," Hagakure nodded, "Perhaps we should get an early start on our homework, and continue our conversation while we wait?"

As the group pulled out their homework, after carefully piling their trays and dishes in the center of the table, Lunch Rush who was working on calming down, all the panicking students suddenly put a hand to his ear before a robotic voice came out of the speakers, "Do not worry everyone. It's just the press from this morning. Somehow the U.A. Barrier was destroyed but Principal Nezu and Power Loader will look into that after the police come and take all the trespassers away, which should be in at most ten minutes."

"Hey Sensei," Midna called out as a thought that came from years of playing a Rogue in DND struck her. When she had Lunch Rush's attention she said, "Might want to have someone check out the teacher's lounge to make sure no one is using the press as a distraction to get at the schedules or other private information."

Lunch Rush gave a thumbs up and the same robotic voice from the most recent announcement came from him, "A good suggestion Midoriya-San and one that's already being looked into. If I may ask, how did you come to that conclusion?"

Midna shrugged, "I play DND with Rogue being one of my go to classes when I'm not the DM. This is just giving me flashbacks to some of the in-game heists we had to do, to get plot important items or info," Lunch Rush gave another thumbs up and turned away as Midna grinned at her friends, "Speaking of we are totally playing a campaign… I call dibs on being the DM!"

"Oh boy…" Izuku sighed, "Midna is a great DM but damn…"

"Character killer?" Tsu asked.

"Nope! But I love using the Fey and their Orange and Blue morality," Midna cackled, "I don't kill player characters intentionally… I mean if a character dies due to the rolls of the dice then eh. What can ya do but I don't like using monsters with Insta Kill effects, as that feels cheap to me… but I'll still make ya work for that win against the bosses."

"Umm… what are you talking about?" Yaoyorozu asked, having no idea what a 'DM' or what 'DND' was.

"Don't worry," Setsuna said as she patted the Heiress's shoulder, "It's just a game, we'll tell you stories later."

"I hear it fun!" Tsunotori said as she clapped her hands before pausing, "I got that wrong didn't I?"

"It was close," Raiko stated, "For now let us focus on our homework."

Author's Notes 2:

Is it realistic to have Midna make Nezu speechless? No… but I did it anyway, both because I find it funny, and I wanted it to happen at least once.

Why is Hatsume a bit less hectic and just dumping Support Gear on people? Simple. You don't gain trust that way, if she wants to make a business she'll need the trust of Heroes that she does good work. Part of that is… working well with heroes to get what they need, and part of that is listening to the customer.
