Midna stretched once their Modern Hero Art History class let out, "Yeesh. Never knew Midnight-Sensei was so enthusiastic about art history."

"I know right?" Ashido said as she scratched her head, as she, Hagakure, Kamanari and Yaoyorozu walked alongside the Midoriya siblings towards lunch "At least she makes it both interesting and easy to understand though."

"It's great isn't it?" Hagakure cheered, "She even promised to briefly go over the history of dancing and music even if that's not fully part of 'Modern Hero Art', but as she put it, 'art history is art history'."

"I must admit I'm curious what she'll address as my mother insisted on several art lessons during my childhood," Yaoyorozu sighed before gaining a thoughtful expression, "Perhaps we should set up weekly study sessions? I'm already well versed with art history, math and science, and from what Midna-San said she and her brother are excellent on Quirk Analyst."

"And English," Izuku stated with a small smile, "Sis insisted on learning it when we were kids so we could watch some Pre-Quirk cartoons. I personally liked the short fan-made 'Shantae the Half-Genie Hero' one we found on Herotube, and Animaniacs. Though Batman the Animated Series and Static Shock were great random finds."

"I like the english version of Nightmare Before Christmas, the early seasons of RWBY, and the dub of some video games and anime, like Dragon Quest Eight or Digimon Adventure One for a couple of examples" Midna explained, "Perhaps we could also invite some members of 1-B to the study sessions as well. Rei-Chan excels in literature since she loves reading Pre-Quirk stories, and Set-Chan did get second place in the Recommendation Written Exam."

"Really? I got first place but not by much," Yaoyorozu gasped surprised, "I'd gladly welcome your friends at the study sessions… Perhaps we can do it at my place? I must admit it can get rather lonely sometimes due to mother and father being extra busy lately."

"It would also be big enough for everyone, if your house is the mansion I think it is," Ashido nodded, "Plus not gonna lie. I'm very curious what a real mansion looks like, Yamomo."

"Yamomo?" Yaoyorozu asked with a small embarrassed blush.

"Is that alright? It's a lot faster to say than your last name…" Ashido said with a small grin, head tilted slightly to the side.

"Oh… yeah it's fine. Again just not used to having friends is all," Yaoyorozu stated.

"Well better get used to it," Midna grinned, as Ashido and Hagakure gave the taller girl quick one armed hugs, "You're our friend now!"

"Agreed!" Ashido cheered. Kaminaro nodded content for the moment to just chill with friends… plus he really didn't want to put his foot hin his mouth before a practical lesson. He was well aware Kamra could and would kick his ass.

"We'll try to help you understand having friends," Izuku said with a small smile, "Just let us know if we're overwhelming you. Trust me when Midna-O-nēsan found Set-Chan and Rei-Chan I was really out of my depth since the only person I considered my friend at the time… wasn't really my friend."

"Bakugo?" Hagakure inquired, tilting her shoulders slightly since they couldn't see her head.

"Yup," Midna grunted, "When I told Kāchan Bakugo was bullying bro about being Quirkless at the time, she pulled us from public school and we switched to online schooling. Met Set-Chan and Rei-Chan on a Legend of Zelda chatroom years ago and we've been friends ever since."

"Partly because you're just so much fun to be around with all that chaos you make!" Setsuna cackled as her head plopped onto Izuku's, making him sigh, while Yaoyorozu, Ashido and Hagakure looked at the disembodied head in shock, "Sup? Name's Setsuna Tokage from class 1-B. Nice to meet ya!"

"Hey Set-Chan," Midna said, not bothered in the least by the disembodied head, "Where's Rei-Chan?"

"Heading with our new friend Tsunotori to the lunch room," Setsuna replied, as her body lifted her head off Izuku's head and reattached it. She really needed to think of something new if plopping her head on Izuku didn't fluster him anymore.

"So Tsunotori made it to the Hero Course did she?" Midna grinned, "Good! I'll have to invite her to the study sessions we're planning so bro and I can help with her Japanese."

"Can I join the sessions Kero?" Asui asked as she joined them, the original group having paused when Setsuna joined, "But I might not be able to join all the time as I might need to help look after my younger siblings Kero."

"The more the merrier," Yaoyorozu stated with a smile, "Now let's get to lunch shall we?"

Once there the group saw they'd need multiple tables and quickly took over a couple empty tables once they got their food, the Disaster Relief Hero Lunch Rush not only the the chef in charge of making sure the new students had a diet appropriate for their Quirk but also being the Teacher on duty to keep an eye on the First Year's lunch room. Setsuna quickly got Tsunotori and Reiko, the two easily joining the large group.

"Thank you for… uh… letting me sit with you? -Did I say that right?-" Tsunotori asked, quickly turning to Midna to ask for confirmation in English, "-I'm pretty sure I did…-"

"-You did-," Midna nodded, "-Oh and feel free to call me Midna. Easiest way of knowing if you're trying to talk to me or my brother,-" Tsunotori nodded with a smile.

"So how did the Orientation go yesterday?" Ashido asked, looking at the 1-B students, "Was it really as boring as Aizawa-Sensei said it would be?"

Reiko nodded, "By the conclusion of the speech almost all the new students and even some of the teachers were fighting away the need to dream. Principle Nezu has mastered the art of saying much while simultaneously saying very little," Those not used to Raiko's speech pattern looked at her in shock. Reiko just gave them a mysterious smile.

"I'd explain why she speaks like that… but I don't feel like it," Midna chuckled, "That would ruin the fun!"

"... Is having friends always this confusing?" Yaoyorozu inquired.

"Sometimes," Asui shrugged, "Depends on who you're friends with and what you're doing… oh and feel free to call me Tsu."

"So Midna-Chan, have you thought about that club you mentioned yesterday?" Kaminari asked, "Because I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes it's fun to cause a bit of havoc."

"Yeah. I was considering bringing it up with Principal Nezu after school," Midna replied, before taking a bite of her food, "I was thinking of calling it the 'Chaos Core'."

"You would," Izuku deadpanned despite his small smile.

"Hey it fits," Setsuna grinned, "We're all chaotic in our own way and the 'core' could easily be a subtle nod to Mid-Chan, Izu-Kun, Rei-Chan and myself since we were friends before U.A. Or to Midna herself since she is the 'core' of the group, due to bringing us all together and having the idea in the first place."

"That… does work," Yaoyorozu nodded.

"I like it!" Ashido and Hagakure cheered with Tsunotori nodding enthusiastically.

"I wouldn't mind joining," Tsu said putting a long finger on her chin in thought, "And if anyone else has siblings, then my siblings Samidare-Kun and Satsuki-Chan could have some new friends as well."

"My only sibling is Izuku here," Midna said ruffling the Verdette's hair, "And Set-Chan and Rei-Chan don't have any siblings," Hagakure, Ashido and Yaoyorozu nodding showing they didn't have any siblings either.

"I've got an older sister who's in college working towards becoming an author," Kaminari shrugged.

"I have a little brother who lives in the… statistics? No the States," Tsunotori said, nodding when she corrected herself, "He's… -Midna translate please. He's just starting his last year of elementary school."

"Tori-Chan said her brother's just starting his last year of elementary school," Midna explained, Tsunotori grinning at the nickname, "But they still could become pen pals or the modern equivalent anyways… Hey Yaoyorozu is it alright if we all call you Yaomomo or something similar?"

"I don't mind," Yaoyorozu said with a smile. It felt nice having real friends. The rest of lunch break moved by too fast for the growing friend group's liking.

"Let's see…" Setsuna said pulling out her schedule, "1-B doesn't have Practical Heroics until tomorrow so we're getting Snipe with the more theoretical, political and relationship side of things. That must mean you guy's get the practical portion today. Think we'll get the same teacher for that?"

"Would kind of be weird if we didn't," Izuku said with a shrug.

"... Think it's All Might?" Hagakure asked, "He has been seen in Musutofu more often the past couple months. Wouldn't he have normally moved on by now for his rounds?"

"That would be awesome!" Ashido cheered before pausing, "Though that'll have the press swarming to get a scoop and I'm not ready for that amount of attention yet!"

"Same!" Midna, Setsuna, Izuku, Kaminari and Tsunotori said with Tsu and Reiko nodding.

"Perhaps we could meet up after school and I could share some of the lessons mother and father gave me on dealing with the press?" Yaoyorozu offered, "At the very least the ways to tell them to leave while remaining respectful."

"That would really help!" Setsuna said with a grin, "Well we should get going back to class now."

"See ya Set-Chan, Rei-Chan," Izuku said as the group separated, "And it was nice to meet you Tori-Chan."

"Likewise!" Tsunotori replied with her own wave.

As Class 1-A waited for the Practical Heroics Teacher, Midna was in deep thought, and the more she thought about it the more Hagakure's idea made sense. All Might very easily could have found a successor at U.A. if he hadn't already passed One for All on to Izuku, and now he could give Izuku some after school lesions under the guise of 'helping a student who recently unlocked a powerful Quirk'... but something in her gut told her that she'd need to talk to Aizawa-Sensei or Nezu-Sensei about it those lessons instead. She'd at least see how today's lesson went to get a read on All Might's teaching abilities, if he was the Practical Heroics Teacher.

"I AM… HERE TO TEACH!" All Might boomed out as he entered the classroom, dressed in one of his older costumes. This one was a mostly red and white skin tight suit for his torso and arms, with the pants being blue with white lines going down the sides, golden boots and wrist guards, capped off with a large blue cape and golden belt with a silver belt buckle. Most of the class going wild over All Might being their teacher

"I sure hope someone picked up that phone…" Hagakure started and everyone could hear the smirk in her voice, "Because I FUCKING CALLED IT!"

"Hagakure!" Ida said, jumping to his feet and turning to her, "Heroes do not use that kind of language!"

"Ida you're doing the teacher's job again," Kaminari called, "Plus there are plenty of heroes who swear, even if it gets censored in the media… on top of that why call out Hagakure when Bakugo swears in almost every sentence?"

"FUCK YOU SPARKY!" Bakugo roared.

"I rest my case," Kaminari smirked, a tick mark appearing on Bakugo's head as he realized all he did was prove Kaminari's point.

"Oh… I… suppose you're right," Ida said, tilting his head in thought, as he remembered some of his brother's sidekicks did swear when they got angry. He just never really thought about it since he'd always been more focused on his studies, so the blue haired teen sat down so the teacher could continue.

"... YES WELL. BEFORE I FORGET, I WANT TO INFORM YOU THAT I WON'T ALWAYS BE HERE, AS SUCH A RETIRED UNDERGROUND HERO ASSOCIATE OF MINE WILL OCCASIONALLY TAKE OVER LESSONS, WHICH WILL FOCUS MORE ON WAYS TO TRAIN YOUR BODY TO BE READY FOR WHAT LIES AHEAD," All Might explained making Midna raise an eyebrow in surprise. She wondered who came up with this idea as it was obvious for those in the know it was taking his time limit into account, "TODAY'S LESSON WILL BE ABOUT ONE OF THE MOST COMMON FORMS OF THE MODERN DAY HERO FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE! COMBAT!" All Might said, as he held up a flash card that read 'BATTLE!' with an explosion effect behind it, "BUT BEFORE THAT, IF YOU'RE GOING TO TRAIN TO BE HEROES, MIGHT AS WELL DRESS LIKE ONE RIGHT?" He clicked a button on a remote that had been waiting on the podium and twenty steel suitcases slid out of the wall, "GRAB THE CASE WITH YOUR DESK NUMBER AND HEAD TO THE CHANGING ROOMS! I WILL MEET YOU ON THE FIELD AIZAWA-SAN USED YESTERDAY FOR YOUR TEST BEFORE LEADING YOU TO THE TRAINING GROUND WE'LL BE USING TODAY!"

With that All Might rushed out of the room so quickly he was little more than a red, white, blue and yellow blur. As everyone was getting their case Sero summed up what most of them were thinking, "Well… so far this isn't going how I expected the lesson to go…"

Midna decided to get into her first Hero Suit the old fashioned way this time, and she cackled to herself as she adjusted the last couple parts. She hadn't lied to Aizawa about planning to become an Underground Heroes, but there were plenty of times those in the Underground had to work alongside Limelight Heroes. Plus with how the Sports Fest worked, if everyone thought she'd be a Limelight Hero with her attention grabbing personality, it would make Underground work easier since no one would expect it. Hence two costumes. One for Limelight work, and one for Underground work… though she knew Aizawa-Sensei would be incredibly jealous if he learned that due to being a Twili, she didn't need as much sleep as a human. Hell she essentially had the Trance ability from a DND Elf! At least Four hours of sleep and night and she's good to go!

She glanced at her shadow as she considered a few details about her Underground Suit, while making a couple small adjustments to her shoulder guards to make them a bit more comfortable before nodding to herself and heading out, and finding her brother. Giving him a nod the two headed out of the tunnel that counted as yet another form of security to keep intruders out, as the entire tunnel could be locked down with at least a dozen thick steel walls. Walking out into the sunlight Midna smirked slightly when some of her classmates turned to them in shock. Midna decided to base her Limelight Hero outfit on the Gerudo Champion Urbosa from Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild with it being made up of a skintight suit of a similar color to her skin giving the impression she's more vulnerable then she truly is.

All the metal on her suit was painted gold for the theme, on her shoulder guards is white cloth with the profile picture of one of her wolves, the light breastplate covered her main vitals while leaving her stomach bare and stylized with a red, green, and blue cloth each color separated by white lines, her belt is made up of different places each with a different flower on it, and a plain large blue cloth hanging off her waist that could easily be turned into a stretcher thanks to some extendable poles in her belt pouch or a shield against electricity as it was made of a special non-conductible material. Her shoes have slightly pointed toes and small one inch heels, resting at the base of her back her new weapons of a pair of large scimitars while their matching shield was in her shadow for later. Midna was planning to ask Aizawa if he knows someone who can properly teach her since she can only learn so much from the internet, and finally some Gerudo styled jewelry on her forehead and neck which doubles as additional armor due to being far denser and more durable then they appeared.

Izuku's outfit took some inspiration from the Hylian Traveler's set also from Breath of the Wild and the two were happy that they'd been given the go ahead from Nezu after sending email to the address they found in the letter that said which homeroom they'd be in. They didn't want to risk a copyright suit just for a hero suit theme after all. His suit was made up of a dark green tunic with white and blue triangles along the bottom hem and edges of the sleeves, over a chain mesh shirt, over a thinner shirt, the chain goes down to just below the waist with the over tunic stopping about five centimeters above the chain-mesh shirt. A leather breastplate and several pouches along a belt over the dark green tunic filled with medical supplies, some granola bars in case someone needs a quick pick me up, and of course restraining tools. Light brown pants, dark leather boots, and finally a forest green hood with a small cape that can easily be detached from the rest of the suit if needed. Currently he had the hood down and was making a couple small adjustments to his left glove before nodding to himself.

Glancing at Midna, Izuku grinned, "Was your suit made to your specifications like mine was?"

"Yup!" Midna said, "Everything is as resistant to stabs, cuts, bullets, fire, electricity and acid as they can be with the materials that First Years have available to them. You?"

"Same," Izuku nodded.

"Miss Mydoria! That outfit is completely indecent and unfit for heroics!" Ida said talking of the helmet of his suit which was styled like a European knight might like his older brothers.

Midna gave the blue haired teen a deadpan stare, "Midnight," Ida blushed embarrassed at being called out like that and turned away, "Besides I do have a body suit on under the armor, and the entire thing is as resistant to combat as I could get."

"I thought you were going to be an Underground Hero?" Kaminari asked as he scratched his head slightly confused on why his friend chose such an eye-catching suit. His Hero Suit being dark blue sunglasses and white headphones, white shirt under a black leather jacket with white lightning bolts on it, a white belt with a pair of light yellow pouches on them, black leather pants with white bolts going from his knees down and black shoes, "Why such an eye catching outfit?"

Midna cackled, "This is the outfit I'll use if I need to do any Limelight work. It'll make my Underground work easier if everyone thinks my only suit is this eye-catching!"

"That's… devious," Jiro snickered, "I love it!"

"... I'm also not complete designing my true Underground costume," Midna said with a shrug, "I know the overall design but putting it on paper is being a bit tricky with some of the more important details."

"AND THAT IS ONE REASON WHY YOU ARE HERE AT U.A.!" All Might boomed out with a laugh as he gave them all a thumbs up, "I MUST SAY THAT ALL OF YOU TRULY LOOK LIKE HEROES NOW, BUT REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY THE START OF THE ROAD FOR YOU ALL!"

Bakugo growled, "Yet my gauntlets aren't what I wanted! They're supposed to have containers for my explosive sweat to use later!"

"AND BECAUSE THEY RELEASE SAID EXPLOSION IN A SINGLE BURST THEY WERE DESIGNATED AS LETHAL WEAPONS!" All Might explained with a frown something that made most of the class shudder at just how… wrong it looked on the normally jovial man, "WEAPONS LIKE THAT ARE ONLY GREEN LIT HALFWAY THROUGH SECOND YEAR AT BEST. ADDITIONALLY THE EXPECTED POWER OF SUCH WEAPONS COULD EASILY BRING DOWN BUILDINGS AND DEAL LARGE AMOUNTS OF COLLATERAL DAMAGE OR HARM CIVILIANS! AS SUCH YOU MUST PROVE YOU ARE WORTHY OF SUCH WEAPONS! NOW FOLLOW ME EVERYONE!"

Author's Notes:

Midna's Limelight Hero suit is based on Urbosa from Breath of the Wild, after all Gerudo armor is so eye-catching why wouldn't she use that for her Hero Suit? Plus not gonna lie… My version of Midna is chaotic enough to use a bit of her feminine wiles to distract Villains/criminals, and if that wasn't allowed, why would Midnight dress/act the way she does? Izuku's is based on the Hylian Hood/Tunic/Trousers.

Apart from Midna, Izuku and Hagakure everyone has their cannon Hero Suit though I do plan to change some of them up down the line. Since I didn't get to it in the story, Hagakure's outfit is a full body suit/face mask that appears slightly prismatic when the invisibility setting is off, some belt pouches, large boots designed to reinforce her legs, muffle movement and assist with kicks that look a bit like Elemental Hero Burstinatrix from Yu-Gi-Oh, gloves with reinforced knuckles that double as tasers, and over her eyes are a pair of goggles with infrared, night vision and other useful modes for Underground work.

… and yes I don't understand why Bakugo was given Lethal Weapons from the start of U.A. Do they make use of his Quirk? Yes… should they have given that to a first year? HELL NO!
