Chapter 18

While Medaka was still at Al's apartment trying to find a way to get out Satsuki and the other toys were out at night looking for her

Elsewhere a car passes by a house Satsuki runs out of some bushes towards a mailbox she gestures to Zoidberg who is covered in leaves as he runs to Satsuki but as he does so the leaves fall off him except one he shrugs with a sheepish chuckle Foghorn Bart and Gene run out of the bushes to Satsuki when Gene slips rolls forward and his cork falls off spilling his coins out on the pavement

Uh. All right. Nobody looks until i get my cork back in. Gene said

Sure. Bart said

Of course. Foghorn said

No problem. Zoidberg said

Good work, men. Two blocks down, and only 19 more to go. Satsuki said

What?! 19?! the other toys said

Yes. 19. Satsuki said

Are we gonna do this all night? Bart said

Yes. We are. Satsuki said

But my parts are killing me. Bart said

Come on, everyone! Did Medaka give up when Sid had me strapped to a rocket? Satsuki said

No! And did she give up when you threw her out of the back of that moving van? Satsuki said

No, she didn't! We have a friend in need! And we will not rest until she's safe in Andy's room! Now, let's move out! Satsuki said

The ending of "The Star-Spangled Banner" plays as the American flag behind Satsuki changes to black and white after he moves on, transitioning to a broadcast on Al's TV

And that concludes our broadcast day. the TV announcer said

The TV broadcast turns to static and Al is fast asleep on the sofa holding a bowl of Cheetos his grip on the bowl starts to loosen and it falls on the floor as Medaka unfreezes and looks at Al's shirt pocket where her arm is stored

Alright. Time to get my back. Medaka said

Medaka gracefully opens the door of his glass case as Al snorts in his sleep

Alright. I need to be quiet. Medaka said

Medaka hops down to the floor but as she tip-toes across to Al she hears a crunching noise

What the? Medaka said

Medaka looks down to see that she has stepped on a Cheeto

Oh. It's a Cheeto. Medaka said

Medaka looks up to see Cheetos laying all over the floor in front of her

Oh no. A lot of Cheetos. Medaka said

Gracefully Medaka tip-toes over the Cheetos and tries not to step on them when she hears a crunching sound behind her

What the? Medaka said

Medaka turns to see that Krypto stepped on the Cheetos

Krypto? Medaka said

(Barks) Krypto barked

Krypto. Go. Medaka said

(Barks) Krypto barked

Krypto. Go. Medaka said

(Barks) Krypto barked

Krypto. Go. Go. Go. Go. Oh! Medaka said

Come on. You don't wanna help me. Medaka said

Krypto licks Medaka's face very happily

Krypto lays on the floor as a stepping stone for Medaka

Medaka steps on Krypto who helps her up

Okay, Krypto. Upsy-daisy. Medaka said

Krypto lifts Medaka to the sofa as Medaka climbs on Al and reaches for her arm while trying not to lose her balance when Al suddenly giggles in his sleep

I need to be careful. Medaka said

Medaka looks down to see Krypto licking Al's hand which is covered in Cheeto flavor

Krypto. Medaka said

Krypto kept licking Al's Cheeto-covered fingers

Krypto. Medaka said

Krypto kept licking Al's Cheeto-covered fingers

(Barks) Krypto barked

Cut it out. Medaka said

Krypto stops licking Al's hand and steps back with a sorry look on his face

Good. Medaka said

Medaka continues to reach for her arm but as she slowly starts to pull it out she hears a rumble and she looks at Al's stomach

What the? Medaka said

The rumble travels up his stomach to his head which Al burps in Medaka's face

Oh god. Medaka said

Medaka gags at the smell and uses her other arm to fan it away

That was disgusting. Medaka said

Medaka holds her breath and pulls out her arm from Al's shirt pocket

Come on. Medaka said

Al snorts again and continues sleeping

Thank god he didn't burp again. Medaka said

Medaka signs with relief but as she is about to climb down the TV turns on suddenly much to Medaka's shock and surprise

(Medaka's Roundup.)

(Come on, it's time to play...)

Al wakes up with a start knocking Medaka to the floor

What?! No, officer! I swear! What? Al said

As the theme song plays in the background Al gasps when he sees Medaka on the floor and sees his glass cabinet empty

Oh no. Al said

Al picks Medaka up and puts her back in the glass cabinet

Oh, get in there. There you go. Cheap case. Where's the remote? Where is the remote? Al said

As Al searches for the remote Medaka sees the remote under Kikaijim's glass cabinet and gets shocked by the thought that she might turn the TV on before she freezes when Al passes her

Why don't I put it in the same place everyti... Al said

Al then found the TV remote on the sofa

Oh, here it is. Al said

Al picks up the remote and turns off the TV while Medaka looks at him

(Whispers) No. Medaka said

While yawning Al leaves the room holding Medaka's arm in his hand

(Whispers) No. Medaka said

Medaka turns to Kikaijima angrily and opens her glass case to jump down to confront her

What is your problem?! Medaka said

Huh? Kikaijima said

Seriously Kikaijima? Hitoyoshi said

Kikaijima. That was uncalled for. Akune said

What? Kikaijima said

Look, i'm sorry i can't help you guys out. Really, i am. But you didn't have to go and pull a stunt like that. Medaka said

What? Do you think i did that? Kikaijima said

Oh. Right, right. Yeah, the TV just "happened" to turn on. And the remote magically ended up in front of you! Medaka said

Are you calling me a liar? Kikaijima said

If the shoe fits. Medaka said

Whoa. Hitoyoshi said

Oh my god. Akune said

Krypto hides in Medaka's Roundup cookie jar as Kikaijima lunges at Medaka and begins to fight her

How do ya like that?! Take it back! TAKE IT BACK! Kikaijima said

Don't think just 'cause you're a girl! I'm gonna take it easy on ya! Medaka said

Whoa. Hitoyoshi said

Oh my god. Akune said

It looks like Medaka and Kikaijima have gotten into a fight after what Medaka said to her just now stay tuned
