A lot had happened after Tatsuya Suou and Maya Amano saved the world. They started to date, and eventually, on November 18,2000, they would get married, and conceive their little boy, Juno Suou. On August 12,2001, Juno was born.

CHAPTER 1: Along Came A Spider

SEPTEMBER 2016

It was 6:00 AM. Maya was finished getting ready for the day. She saw Tatsuya, asleep as always. "So precious," Maya went to Juno's room. She opened the door, and saw her precious baby boy, asleep. As Juno was sleeping, he heard Maya's soft voice. "Juno? Good morning honey, it's time to get up." Juno was half asleep, and squeaked out, "Mammmaaa? I'm geeeettttinnmg uppppppp." Maya was shocked, but quickly hid it with a smile. "Alright baby, I'll let you get dressed!" As soon as she closed the door, she was incredibly giddy. "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod OH MY GOD! My baby called me MAMA AGAIN! Oh Tatsu, if only you were awake right now, maybe he'd call you Daddy again!" She grabbed a picture of her and Juno when he was a little boy, and hugged it tightly. She could hear his little voice, saying "Mama, I love you!" All she could say was "My baby..."

Juno went through his morning routine. He took a shower and put on his uniform. "Y'know, I'll go blue today." He added a blue necktie to his uniform. He walked outside, and saw his mother. "Aw Juno, you look just like your father! Minus the eyes of course." Juno had Tatsuya's skin tone and hairstyle, but his eyes were purple, just like Maya's. But he was shorter than both his parents, his height was 5'2. "Thanks Mom! I'm excited for the trip today, maybe we can go home early afterwards!" Maya chuckled. "Maybe. Just be good, ok? I'll be working in the office today. Do you need me to drive you to school?" Juno shook his head. "Nah, I can get there myself. Oh shoot, I'm gonna be late! Bye Mom, I love you!" Maya waved goodbye. "I love you too!...my little boy, oh you're growing up too fast! Why couldn't you just stay the sweet little boy that loved to spend time with his mother! Oh well, you'll always be my baby, no matter how old you get. Maybe...maybe you'll have a persona of your own." She grabbed the picture, and hugged it again, as Tatsuya woke up. "Maya, you ok?" Maya turned to Tatsuya. "Good morning Tatsu! I'm just...remembering when Juno was little." Tatsuya started to smile. "Maya, he's getting older now, one day, he'll be with a girl, he'll drive, he'll go to college, and maybe even get married and have babies. But you're still his mother, forever and always." Maya pulled Tatsuya into a tight hug, they shared a warm kiss.

Juno walked, seeing Sumaru City wake up. People started commuting to work, other kids walked and took the busses to school, businesses went from closed to open, and the city went from an eerie quiet, to its usual sound of honks, and talking. As he got to Seven Sisters High School, he sighed in a mix of dread and excitement. He looked, and saw the spot across the street. Where Maya picked Tatsuya up on his graduation, and they went on their very first date. "They went from a street, to a baby." He chuckled. Juno heard a voice call out "JUNO! WHAT'S UP MAN!" He looked up, seeing a tall, lanky boy with a mop of curly blonde hair. It was his best friend, Stanley Mishina. "Oh, hey Stan! Have you seen Aki anywhere?" "Toudou? Nah, haven't seen him. You excited for that trip to the lab? Why'd you ask for Aki?" "Because I want us to sing a song again." "Oh YEAH! Juno and The Sumaru Boys! That was awesome! Oh shit, we're gonna be late, come on!" The two made their way to the bus, before Juno abruptly stopped. "Stan look! It's...the most beautiful girl in the history of history!" The two looked at the new girl, Haru Okumura. Next to her, was her father, Kunikazu Okumura. Juno and Stanley has practical heart pupils in their eyes. They heard a voice behind them. "Guys, wait up!" They saw a boy with straight, neatly parted black hair, it was Naoya and Maki's son, Aki Toudou. "Oh hey Aki! Juno's gonna talk to the new girl!" "Wait WHAT?!" "Yeah, you said you would!" Juno sighed, and walked up to Haru. "Um, hey, I see you're new here. My name's Juno! Juno Suou! It's nice to meet you." He shook Haru's hand, she smiled. "Oh, nice to meet you Juno. My name is Haru Okumura." Juno looked to Kunikazu, and shook his hand. "Hello Juno. I'm the CEO of Okumura Foods, Kunikazu Okumura." Juno's eyes went wide. "Wait, Okumura-San, you're the CEO?! Man, Big Bang Burger is fantastic! You've done great!" Kunikazu laughed. "Ah Haru, I like him already! I'm a bit of a businessman myself." Kunikazu chuckled "I hope you have a great day Juno!"

The two shook hands again, as Juno and Haru walked to the bus. "So do you think Juno has a chance Stanley?" "Knowing him, yeah. His dad is really cool, so maybe it rubs off on him!"

Juno and Haru got onto the bus, and right before Juno sat down, he got tripped. "Juno! Are you ok?" Haru helped Juno up. "Yeah, I'm fine." He heard laughter, it was him. Jack Takamaki, or as everyone else knew him, The Scorpion. He was the cousin of Ann Takamaki, they both even had blonde hair. They called him Scorpion, because of the large scorpion tattoo on his chest.

"Oh, my bad...freak." Juno clenched his fist, before Jack grabbed him by his tie. "I saw that. I don't know where this came from, but don't think you can fuck with me boy. Because remember, if you do, (he shows the scorpion tattoo) You'll be answering him. Understand?" Juno simply nodded, as Jack threw him into the seat opposite of Haru. Haru simply looked at Juno, her eyes full of remorse. Jack sat next to her, getting uncomfortably close to her. Juno simply shook his head, and put on his music.

Meanwhile, Kunikazu was not at Okumura Foods, but their sister company, Okumura Tech. As he walked in the building, scientists were testing out the new glider. "How is everything coming along?" "Okumura-San, we're making incredible progress with the glider, and exoskeleton. The (the scientist checks the clipboard) pumpkin bombs are working just as we planned-" "What about the human performance enhancers?" The scientist grimaced. "Oh, progress is occurring, but we've discovered a side effect in its usage. We need to take the whole thing back to formula." "Back...to formula?" "We tested it out on some mice, using vapor inhalation. Performance works spectacularly, but, we've found increased amounts of violence and aggression in the mice, along with...insanity. some have even cracked the glass." The two look, seeing a small window with cracks of various sizes. Kunikazu was unphased. "Continue on with the serum's process, we must get it perfect! If this goes smoothly, Okumura Tech will be the biggest PMC in the world. Remember, don't be a coward." The scientist silently nodded.

The students arrived to the lab, Juno heard Mrs. Yuki calling out, "Alright class! We're going to follow in a single file line!" Yukari Yuki sighed. She was a professional actor, married to Makoto Yuki, and now she was an assistant teacher to a class of either idiots or very basic kids, except she knew they had potential.

"Aki!" Aki ran up to Yukari, she passed the camera to him, he passed it to Juno. "Thank you Aki." Aki cringed, "What? It's just a compliment, or are you too shy for those?" Aki chuckled. "Alright class! remember, it is a privilege to be here! Let's not repeat our trip to the planetarium!" The university lab seemed basic, just some endangered species and odd-looking plants. But that would all change when arriving to the spider laboratory. It didn't help that Jack kept "accidentally bumping" into Juno, messing up his pictures. The guide showed them various spiders, one jumped to catch its prey, another one that spun a funnel shaped web, and one that had But Juno's attention was focused on Haru, and 15 genetically designed spiders. Its design intrigued Juno, it was black and red, with a blue back.

Juno was taking pictures of the spiders, while Jack kept "bumping" into him. Stanley walked up to Juno, as they saw Haru looking at the spiders. "Juno, come on, you gonna talk to her?" "N-no YOU talk to her!" Stanley chuckled. "Alright then," Stanley approached Haru. "Disgusting. But I love 'em!" Haru exclaimed. Stanley turned to Juno, and winked. "Did you know, some of these spiders change color to blend in to their environment?" "Really? I didn't know that, that's really interesting," Juno was concerned, was Stanley hitting it off with Haru? As the guide explained what the "Super-Spiders" were, Haru piped up. "There's 14." "I beg your pardon?" "There's 14 spiders." "I...guess the researchers are working on that one." Stanley was telling Haru about some random spider fact, when Aki called him over. Now Juno had his chance, he walked up to Haru. "H-hey Haru." "Oh, hi!" "(he pointed to the spider display) For the s-school paper? I need one with a student in it.(he gave her a shy smile)" "Sure!" He took the pictures, but he couldn't take his eyes off of Haru's smile. Eventually, some girls called her over. "Wait!...Thanks!" Juno exclaimed. While he was messing with the camera, a super-spider slowly spun down, onto Juno's hand. Right before he could smack it away,

it bit him.

"Ow!" He quickly looked at the bite. It didn't look too bad, and the pain went away after awhile. "Juno? Come on Juno, let's get moving!" "Ok Mrs. Yuki!" Juno caught up with his class. The class was able to go home early. As Juno walked home, he started to feel incredibly tired. The spider bite looked worse, a little swollen, but he was going to tough it out. As he got home, Maya was already home. "Hey Mom, I'm home." Maya looked up, and immediately ran to him, pulling him into a tight hug. "Oh Juno, it's so nice to see you! Dad will be home soon...are you ok? You don't look too well!" Juno nodded. "Yeah, just...really tired. I'm gonna go to sleep." "Are you sure you don't want dinner?" Juno shook his head. "Nah, I'll be fine. Just gonna sleep it off." Maya smiled, as Juno went to his room. The tiredness had taken its toll, and Juno had to sleep at that point. He was sweating, and he took his uniform off. He laid down on his bed, and quickly fell asleep. While asleep, his DNA was combining with the spiders' DNA.

During that night at Okumura Tech, Kunikazu had a tube of the performance enhancer in his hand, much to a scientist's dismay. "Okumura-San please, the performance enhancers aren't ready! The data doesn't justify this test, for the last time please! We can't do this!" Kunikazu shook his head. "How many times do I have to tell you, don't be a coward. Risks are a part of science, if this runs smoothly, and it will, then we will make BILLIONS more than we already have!" "Okumura-San, let me reschedule, with a proper medical staff and a volunteer, give me...two weeks!" "Two weeks? We'll be old news by two weeks. There's other PMCS out there you know, we may have Okumura Foods, but that's simply a side project now. We NEED this!" Kunikazu held the tube. "40,000 years of human evolution, and we've barely tapped into our potential," he drank out of the tube, and tossed the glass aside, breaking it. The scientist sighed, and strapped him onto the table, moving him into the test room. The scientist watched as another tube was drained, turning into a green vapor. Kunikazu whimpered, as the enhancer took effect. The scientist saw that Kunikazu's heart rate was increasing, something was happening. He was having a seizure. "Okumura-San?! KUNIKAZU!" He quickly turned the vapor off, but it was too late.

Kunikazu had flatlined, but the scientist didn't want to give up. Okumura's words flooded his mind as he ran up to Kunikazu. "KUNIKAZU, oh my god...KUNIKAZU!" He started to revive him, before Kunikazu quickly came back to life. He grabbed the scientist by his neck, something had overtaken him. "Back...to formula?" He threw the scientist out of the window, and onto the floor. Kunikazu was no longer just the CEO Of Okumura Foods and Tech, he was now the Green Goblin. He stared at the scientist and lunged at him, with a primal scream.

The next day, Juno woke up.
