Author´s Note: Starting to re write the Blood of Zeus series. Not every chapter will make it back in its true form, some will change. Not all Ero chapters will make it into this story "Burning Love of Justice!" has it´s own chapters for that. "Truly you´re my Odr!" (third Bell x Freya route, the Harem route where Freya helps Bell to spread love all over Orario), will also have a few of them in a changed way. I want to work more with the Astrea familia and especially Heith Velvet and Rose.
So this first chapter here actually takes place in Change of Fates, but I want to keep the naughty stuff out of the story, so that people can read it if they want in this story, and not if they don´t want to.

Lefiya stretched her arms over her head, enjoying the feeling of her muscles getting stretched after sleeping a good sleep. Lately she always slept very well. Just like her goddess, Astrea, had said, being in love was a wonderful feeling.
The food tasted better, the air smelled better, her bed was softer and going into the dungeon was never so nice before. Well of course she enjoyed it before, going with her familia and exploring the unknown dephts, but now...it was just nice.
To make her morning perfect, a little bird came in through the open window and landed on her blanket.
"Ehe, good morning little one."
"*Chirp*"
Lefiya lowered her hand and held it towards the bird, it jumped onto her hand and let itself raised up to her face. It was probably because she was an elf, but the bird tolerated it to let her rub her nose gently against it´s head. She wouldn´t kiss the bird, her lips were meant for only one person...well actually...two.
Hah...I still can´t believe iiiit!
Her heart felt like it want to burst from happiness.
When the bird hopped from her hand and flew outside again, Lefiya´s eyes wandered to her room mate. Filvis always woke up early, like she did. She was her beloved big sister now. While she liked every member of her familia, Filvis took a special place in her heart. Elves had two words for friends, one that meant a general friend and one that meant a very special friend, one that was a friend for life. Filvis had been this kind of friend, until the day came when Lefiya´s family adopted Filvis and now she was Filvis Viridis, Lefiya´s big sister! Or maybe kind of little sister, since Lefiya was in the family first. Lefiya liked to tease her by calling her little sister sometimes.
If things went different and she would´ve never met Bell and Haruhime, if her feelings for Filvis had been different, maybe one day she would´ve fallen in love with her.
But right now she was just happy with everything, no one could ever replace Filvis for her. Lefiya didn´t even want to imagine what things could´ve happened if Filvis joined another familia. One time she had a nightmare so strong, Lefiya woke up crying her heart out. Filvis had noticed it, woke up from her noises and rushed over to the crying Lefiya. The two friends hugged for a long time, the nightmare had felt so real. She dreamed about a male god tricking Filvis into his schemes, that she turned into some kind of monster and in the end crumbled to ash.
Filvis had to promise Lefiya over and over again that she would never leave the Astrea familia and follow some male god.
As usual, Lefiya went a bit far with her dreams and...delusions. She said one of the things she want to see in her life, was Filvis finding a nice someone for herself, maybe see one or two children. These words made Filvis a bit flustered, that Lefiya already planned so far ahead.
But it also made the black haired elf happy, not one member of her familia cared about her haircolor.
"Good morning, Filvis."
"Mmmh...morning Lef-*Yawn*-iya."
Elves were normally very dignified and proud, but to her best friend, they showed a bit of a carefree side so early in the morning. Just like nearly all of her other clothes, Filvis´ nightgown was white, while Lefiya´s was pink.
"Hehe, you´re such a sleepyhead."
"R-Right back at you..."
"No, I mean literally."
Lefiya pointed at her own head. "You have a lot of bedhair."
"Mmmh!"
"Hehe, you are so cute when you are flustered."
"Mouh...don´t tease me...I´m older than you."
"Hehe, sorry, big sister.~~~"
This let Filvis smile again.
"Ehe, I guess we should really get up now." Lefiya nearly jumped out of her bed.
"You are going on a quest today, right?"
Lefiya nodded. "Yes, with Bell and Haruhime."
Filvis said nothing.
"W-Why are you smiling like that?"
"No reason, I´m just happy for you."
Elves chose their partners for life, but normally only one partner. That Lefiya had feelings for a woman wasn´t that unusual among elves. Only true love was important for elves, nothing else.
Both eventually got out of their beds and hung up the blankets. The use of the showers in the Stardust Garden followed a certain order. Since Astrea was always the first one awake, she went into the shower first. It wasn´t forbidden to enter the showers when Astrea was there, but normally no one was awake so early. The goddess enjoyed it to bath together with her followers, the "Naked bonding" was part of the culture of Kaguya´s homeland.
There was also a chance that Astrea wasn´t alone in the bath, it rarely happened that Ganesha slept at the Stardust Garden, in this case Astrea hang up a special sign. She didn´t want her children to be embarrassed by being seen naked by Ganesha, or seeing him naked.
Also, while they mostly only cuddled or washed each others backs, it could happen now and then, that Astrea and Ganesha got a bit in the mood.
A bath with the whole familia was quite nice. But not one elf would ever put down their towel while they did that. With one exception, the dark elf Viana would cover her face with a veil instead. But...dark elves were a bit...weird.
Lefiya hummed while she walked to the bathroom.
"I hope they are up early."
She didn´t know that both were already in her home.

"Hmmmm~Hmmm~Hmmm~"
Haruhime hummed happily while she moved around in the kitchen. She and Bell had come over to the Stardust Garden very early. Since Bell wanted to spend a bit time with his Mom and Haruhime really wanted to make snacks and lunch for her and her two lovers.
Her tails curled and wagged in happiness, as usual.
"You sure are in a good mood today."
"Of course I am, Lady Alfia."
Alfia had nothing else to do at the moment, since Alise, Kaguya and Lyra currently had occupied Bell for some reason. Ryu was also there, just to make sure that they didn´t tease Bell...too much.
Alfia could move freely in the Stardust Garden, while she was the "prisoner" of the Astrea familia, they weren´t cruel to her.
So she helped Haruhime with the lunch that she made for herself, Bell and Lefiya for the day. This fact alone was something against the nature. At first, Alfia had refused to give up her position to be the one that made lunch for Bell. But she had to accept that Bell was in love with Haruhime..and Lefiya. It was a shock for Alfia like no other before. Her little boy slowly became a man, well at least an adolescent boy, so it was natural that he got interested in love. But two girls at once!
Hah...I should´ve seen this from miles away...Curse you for putting these ideas in his head, Zeus!
Bell was the one that had saved Haruhime after all. The fox girl that had her room at Alfia´s house, until the home of the Miach familia got destroyed, the wargame happened and they got into the much, much bigger new home. And Alfia got caught by the Astrea familia... Now the cunning fox girl was all too eager to show her personal hero how thankful she was to him and how much she loved him. When Alfia had seen them kissing for the first time, bloody tears streamed down her cheeks out of her closed eyes and she grinded her teeth, before she had yelled out. In her mind, she saw a hungry fox that tried to devour a pure, white, baby bunny. And then there was this elf too!
Bell had his first kiss with two girls at once!
This was not the way that an overprotective mother wanted to find out that her son had a girlfriend...two girlfriends! At least they decided not to kiss in front of Alfia again or tried not to. At least until she got used to the fact.
And when Haruhime had politely asked Alfia if she would give her a chance to make the lunch for the dungeon, the dragoness woke from her slumber. Even without saying a word and with closed eyes...Alfia stared her down. Haruhime had flinched.
"So you intend to take everything from me? You little vixen..."
"No I don´t! I-I just would like to do that now and then."
"Ho..."
Alfia would like nothing more than to refuse. It wasn´t that she hated Haruhime, but...it was really hard for her to let Bell go a bit and accept that he had a girlfriend now...two girlfriends!
"I won´t tolerate anything below absolute perfection."
"U-Understood!"

Hah...at first I didn´t like the fact and now I´m helping them. Mmmmmh...but they make Bell so happy.
It would probably become the same as the time back then, when she went to see Bell and ended up staying with him. Maybe it was her fate and she just had to accept it.
Then I will watch over them so that they grow into a healthy relationship!
"Lady Alfia?"
"Yes?"
"Could you pass me the vegetables, please?"
Alfia nodded.
It was pretty quiet in the kitchen, since Alfia hated loud noises, Haruhime was as quiet as possible Plus, after Alfia had made dinner one time for the Astrea familia, to practice her skills for Bell of course, except for Astrea the whole familia got devastated.
Alfia´s skills in cooking were out of this world. Even Maryuu, the best cook of the familia, had cried from getting her pride obliterated, burned to cinders and burried.
If Alfia was honest, she...liked Haruhime and Lefiya. It was hard not to like the young fox woman, the elf was very nice too. And after Haruhime found out that she was actually a virgin and not like she feared...tainted, Alfia was a little more comfortable with the fact that she was in love with Bell and he was in love with her. She knew that it hadn´t been Haruhime´s fault for losing her virginity in the way they thought she had, but Alfia felt better to know that Haruhime had the chance to cure her trauma slowly, together with Bell.
"Thank you, Mother."
Clank!
Alfia dropped her knife when Haruhime said this word. She knew how she meant it, in the far east they called the mother-in-law also mother.
"Don´t get carried away, little fox! You two are not married yet!"
"Hiiii! I´m sorry!"
Alfia´s hair waved around as if she was Medusa herself, Bell new this form of her...it was quite frightening. Astrea, who just had looked curious into the kitchen, couldn´t help but chuckle.
Both got interrupted when a knock came from the door. Alfia immediatelly calmed down, she knew who it was.
"What do you want, Goddess of Justice?"
Alfia never called Astrea "Lady" or even "Lady Astrea".
"Bell managed to break free from my girls."
Alfia turned her face for a second into Haruhime´s direction, then she walked out of the kitchen, like most of the time with closed eyes.
Hauuu...I knew it...that was too bold of me...
But Haruhime wouldn´t give up, she would show Alfia that she was good for Bell and a wonderful daughter-in-law. To get Alfia´s blessing was important for her.
I should finish this, the quest today will take long.
"Haruhime?"
"Yes, Lady Astrea?"
"Hehe~~~ Give it your all, I know you can do it. One day Alfia will be your mother-in-law."
"Mmmmh!"

Most people wouldn't describe the woman who adored Bell so much as friendly. Her calm, serious demeanor was reflected in her face, plus most people would find her closed eyes either disturbing or wonder if she was blind. But now those heterochromatic eyes opened and the lips curled into a tiny little smile.
"Hey Sweety."
"Huff...Huff...Huff...I´m back, Mom."
Alfia didn´t know what Alise and the others had done with Bell and she wouldn´t ask, but she guessed the three had chased him a bit, while Ryu tried to contain them.
Bell didn´t ask for permission nor did he wait for one, he simply stepped forward and hugged Alfia. He was the only person that would ever be able to do that so easily. Alfia loved him more than anything in the world, he knew that he was her reason to continue living. If something would ever happen to him, Alfia would have nothing left in this world.
"I love you, Mom."
"I love you too, Bell."
Sometimes he just felt like saying her that, she was as important to him as he was to her. The hug tightened a bit before they let go of each other.
"Come, Haruhime is in the kitchen."
"Alright."
Bell closed the door behind him. While he walked to the kitchen, Alfia went into her living room for a moment. Sometimes she cursed her fine ears...she heard a certain sound from the kitchen. As soon as she went to the kitchen, she noticed the quick movement of Haruhime´s tails and that both were a bit red.
They kissed just now...how lewd!
Alfia was a bit sensitive, if someone would watch her for a while, that someone would notice that Alfia was...a pure maiden. Kissing was already too much for her and she was kind of thankful that Zeus had "the talk" with Bell in the past, she herself wasn´t even able to say the s-word in her mind. So, while she didn´t get red, Alfia was much more flustered than these two.
This was also the reason why Alfia hated Bell´s father so much, she still thought that he had seduced her innocent sister and took her virginity! Well without it she wouldn´t have Bell now...but still!
"Are you two ready for your quest?"
"Yes."
"Y-Yes!"
Haruhime is so easy to read...
Haruhime noticed Alfia´s "glare" and got embarrassed.
Hah, to kiss in the house of my future mother-in-law and as soon as we see each other in the morning...how bold of me! How lewd! Kyuuuu!
It wasn´t really Alfia´s house, but she now lived in the Stardust Garden.
She is corrupting my baby...
"The quest is outside of Orario?"
"Yes, we are to investigate an old castle ruin."
"That doesn´t sound very dangerous, what about the payment?"
"200.000 Vals each."
Alfia raised an eyebrow. "That´s pretty much."
"Ms. Eina said after we managed to tame the unicorn, the guild would like to issue this quest directly to us."
"Looks like you guys made an impression...can't say I like this..."
"Mom?"
"I´m just worried about you, Bell. If you stand out too much, gods may come for you, trying to take you away."
Alfia turned her face to Haruhime. "And of you too of course."
Haruhime´s tails moved quickly from side to side. Alfia knew that she would´ve been different in the past, but now she had to care about Haruhime. Not only was Haruhime precious to Bell, but she did the main work to rescue Haruhime, so she was responsible for her too.
She accepted that she became more motherly, but Haruhime calling her mother, which meant mother-in-law...that was still a shock.
Is my behaviour odd when it comes to Bell? Could I be wrong or weird?...No, I´m sure everyone else is wrong.
"Did they tell you what you shall investigate in this castle?"
"They wrote something about ghosts."
"Hm, and you are not afraid?"
"You told me bravery doesn´t mean to feel fear, but to act even when one is afraid. I got to know a very brave heroine, who was ready to sacrifice her reputation, be markes as a villain, and to give up her life, do bad things all for the greater good. This story is what taught me bravery."
Alfia´s lips curled up to a slight smile, Bell really knew how to talk to her. What made her even more happy, he never used this to get anything from her, he just felt like praising his, in his words, "super cool, pretty and awesome Mom".
"And you, Haruhime?"
"As long as Bell is with me, I won´t be afraid."
"But what will you do when there are ghosts there, how will you deal with them?"
"Lefiya knows quite a bit when it comes to ghosts and the like."
"In case you have to fight, rely on your magic, Bell. A ghost is immune to physical attacks. And Haruhime...hm, I doubt that a ghost will even try to get close to you."
Haruhime looked a bit surprised. "Why do you think that, Lady Alfia?"
"Just a feeling."
I wouldn´t be surprised when her mere presence purifies this castle, together with Bell she will be the nemesis of everything evil.
Alfia continued to look at Haruhime, without saying something, Haruhime started to get nervous.
"Ahm, Lady Alfia? I-is something wrong?"
"No, just thinking about something."
"So Mom, it´s time."
She nodded and led them to the door.
"Stay safe you three, I will have a dinner ready when you return in the evening."
"Eh, Mom?"
Alfia looked at Bell. "I expect you three to appear here for dinner."
This wasn´t a question, there was no way they could refuse this "offer".
"But we wanted to eat w-"
Alfia opened her eyes slightly and stared at Bell without saying a word. But this alone was more than enough, he basically heard her voice in his head.
Are you going to reject your Mom?
"We will be there."
"Good."
Haruhime seemed to look really forward to it.
I will proof to her that I am a good partner for Bell!
"Oh and Bell, I will make your favorite food."
"Really?!"
"Yes."
Haruhime looked curious. "Ahm, what is his favorite food?"
Alfia showed Haruhime an evil smug grin. "Heh, I´m sure you would like to know that."
"Y-Yes, I do."
The easiest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. I see what you are planning to do...
Alfia´s thinking was more than a bit off. Haruhime didn´t need to use tricks, she already was in Bell´s heart. And Alfia knew that...but to let him go and grow up...that was hard.
Lefiya met them at the door, she had slept too long and barely managed to get herself ready. It mostly happened because she had been too excited to sleep...

"So this is the old castle."
"Pretty big."
"Wow."
Bell and Haruhime had met Lefiya at one of the gates of Orario, They had shown the guards the papers from the guild and left the city. Bell insisted to carry the big backpack they had, Haruhime and Lefiya only had small ones. He would always offer them his hand to get safely over a puddle, the fact that even Lefiya took his hand then spoke much about how she trusted him. Both were often very impressed by his chivalrous demeanor.
"Hehe."
Both women looked at him when they heard him chuckle.
"Exploring the ruin of an abandoned castle, how exciting!"
Lefiya raised a finger. "We just have to be careful, that nothing collapses."
"Mouh.."
She glanced at him and winked slightly, it was a little fun for her to tease Bell now and then, to take just a tiny little bit of his excitement. Haruhime giggled when she saw that.
"But I think we should go now, this castle is pretty big and it will take a while to explore it."
"Then, are you two ready?"
""Yes.""
They walked up to the broken gate of the castle.
Bell was the first one to walk into the ruin. They were unaware that a spectral figure watched them from a window high above. A figure that hissed slightly, the fox woman wore something around her neck that guarded them from it getting closer.
But only from getting closer.
In the moment when all three of them were inside the castle, the gate closed suddenly.
And everything turned white.

"Bell, hurry! We will be too late!"
"I´m coming, Lefi!"
Two young adults, one was a nineteen years old elven maiden, the other an eighteen years old human man, ran side by side through the hallways of a giant castle. Although the castle was huge, with several floors and towers, it wasn't cold here. The temperature was very comfortable, the floors were covered with soft carpets, smokeless torches lined the walls and bathed everything in a pleasant light. Not one of the wooden doors looked old or moldy, nor did the benches that stood here and there, all with cushions.
"Mouh, it´s because you always sleep so long!"
"I can´t help it, my bed is so soft!"
"Maybe you shouldn´t stay up so late!"
"I had to learn!"
"Learning? I bet you read your books again!"
The clothes that both wore were a bit similar, even when she wore a skirt that went down to her knees, together with long stockings, and he wore pants. But the jackets that both wore were very simlar and the color was the same.
Eventually they arrived at the door that was their destination.
He quickly opened the door and let her go in first, closing the door after them.
"You two are late."
"Sorry lady Riveria!"
"Yes, sorry!"
"A sorry won´t save you, explain yourself."
"It was my fault, I slept too long and Lefi-...Lefiya just wanted to wake me up."
"So you slept in again, Bell Cranel. This calls for punishment. You will clean up the classroom during your break."
"Understood, lady Riveria!"
"And you will write an apology letter. At least a thousand words and if I don't like it, you'll write it over and over again."
"U-Understood..."
The jade hared elf raised an eyebrow.
"Understood, lady Riveria!"
"Good, Lefiya I will let you being late slip for now, because you did it to help him. But I will inform your house teacher, even when I assume she will be more proud than mad."
"Thank you, lady Riveria!"
"Now go your seats, you two."
""Yes!""
"Oh and I will have to inform the headmistress about this, Bell Cranel."
"Irgh..."
Normally it wouldn´t be necessary to do that just because he slept too long...but the headmistress was his mother... And she was absolutely unforgiving to such behaviour.
So he followed Lefiya, their tables were next to each other. Finally they had made it to their classroom.
This enormous castle, was a school.
Orario, the great school for all those who were gifted with magic and aspired to a life as an adventurer or magician. Sometimes this school was called the center of the world, due to its location. It wasn´t in the middle of the continent, but close to the coast in the west. It was said that ley lines went together at this spot, which could be the reason why it was built here, or because of the dungeon below the school. The dungeon. A hole in the surface of the world, monsters lived in it´s depths. The deeper one got, the stronger became the monsters...and the more valuable were the dropp items and crystals that they left behind.
It was the perfect location for the students to go sometimes. They could train their skills and how to fight on the upper floors and earn some money. Some of the students that graduate from the school even stayed there to explore the dungeon and support the school with money.
Like this, the houses, some called them familias, were formed. Each house or familia was led by a god or goddess, who acted as teachers at the school. They invited students and former students to join their house, it really was like some kind of family. Lefiya belonged to Astrea´s house, the goddess of justice. Every single student belonged to a house.
With one exception.
Bell Cranel.
He wasn´t part of a house, the reason had ash colored hair and heterochromatic eyes...his mother.
Some thought it was strange that not a god or goddess led this school, but a mortal. The reason was simple, the gods didn´t want one of them to stand above the others. But there was an assistant principal, the old man Ouranos.
But every person that had ever seen Bell´s mother, knew why the gods listened to her.
She could be a bit frightening. Which was also the reason why Bell didn´t have much friends. In fact it were only three. One was a former student and the only member of house Miach, her name was Nahza. Together with her god, they ran the school´s pharmacy. He got to know her, since the god Miach provided his mother with potions, she had a health problem.
His second friend was the one he had known since childhood, his best friend, the elf Lefiya Viridis.
And his third friend, was the one with her table to Bell´s left.
"Are you two okay?"
"Yes, don´t worry."
"Mh."
She was one of the prettiest girls in the school, the golden furred fox woman, Haruhime.
Bell´s mood brightened already when he saw her, it was like some kind of aura around her.
Lefiya and Haruhime were Bell´s best friends...and more than that.
More than one guy in the school secretely cursed him, because he was in love with these two beauties and they were in love with him.
"So, back to the lecture."
The teacher for the class about magic in general, was Lady Riveria Ljos Alfr, a high elf. Some called her a goddess, even when she wasn´t one. Riveria was a very strict teacher and some loved her for that...some even did small evil deeds so that they got punished by her...
"As you all know, magic is divided into different categories. And..."
Bell listened to every word she said. Magic is what he always had dreamed of to have one day. His mother was a strong mage, so it was likely that he got it too. One day it got obvious that he inherited her strong magic blood. What she could do with sounds and light, did he with lightning and thunder.
But while his magic was good, he was nothing against the two women at his side. Lefiya was the number one magical genius in Orario, she went by the title "Thousand Elf" and had a strong, rare ability to use many kinds of magics. And then there was Haruhime, her magic was kept a secret and only very few people knew about it. She possessed two magic spells, one was pretty weak and looked more like a party trick, it was called "Fox Fire", the other...she could boost the strength of someone to an incredible degree.
The lecture continued for two hours, then they had a break for half an hour.

"Phew...lady Riveria always writes so much on the blackboard."
"You wouldn´t have to clean it up if you got up earlier."
"I know...but thank you for helping me."
"Of course we help you. It was...my fault after all..."
Lefiya looked at Haruhime. "Your fault?"
"We stayed up together too long and read a book."
"Hah...so I guessed correct..."
"I´m sorry..."
"No, it´s okay, I know you two well enough...hah."
Haruhime and Lefiya had decided to help Bell with the classroom, it got faster when they were three people.
"I´m sorry, I will make it up to you."
"And how?"
"I...may have secret informations..."
"About what?"
"About new, limited kinds of sweets that come to the school. And I may...get some test samples."
Lefiya´s eyes shone immediatelly. "Really?!"
"Yes."
"Haaaaahn!" She put her hands on her cheeks and sighed in bliss.
Haruhime´s tails slowly moved shyly. "May I...get some too?"
"Of course."
"Mmmmh."
Bell himself wasn´t a fan of sweets, but these two were much different.
When they heard a light gong, they looked up.
"We have to hurry, the next class will start soon!"
The next class was outside.

"Soooo my little cuties, welcome to my part of the class!"
A gorgeous, red haired woman with green eyes stood in front of them. She was a human and her name was Alise Lovell, the first member of house Astrea.
"Eh, captain? You are teaching us?"
"Yeah, I asked lady Artemis to let me do your group." Alise grinned.
The current class was "Combat and survival training". For that, the teacher in charge, the goddess of the hunt, Artemis, asked former students that weren´t in the dungeon on that day. They split the class into smaller groups. Each sub teacher had a different style of teaching, this should help the students to get used to various situations.
A surprisingly big part of house Astrea helped with that, since today was their day off from the dungeon.
"But if you want, I can ask Kaguya or Lyra to teach you three?"
"Irgh...n-no..."
"Hoooo? Somethin´ to complain ´bout ´em?"
"Of course no! It´s just...ahm..."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Elves have it hard with them, hah..I remember when Ryu was still young and they taught her..."
"Ms. Ryu is still young! She is still in her twenties!"
"Hehe, I am also still in my twenties, so I too am a true maiden!"
"Captain..."
"Well enough talk, let us start!"
Alise drew her sword and looked at him.
"Come at me all at once, no magic."
"Huh?"
"But captain, isn´-"
"No talking back! Don´t question my methods! You will see what I am up to."
Alise´s grin widened.
"That is if you can beat me. If not...I am free to punish you three."
Haruhime, Bell and Lefiya gulped. Alise had sometimes a pretty carefree nature and liked to tease the students, especially the ones she was fond of.
Bell readied his sword, while he was not as strong with his magic as Lefiya and Haruhime, he was better with a weapon. The other two used staffs, Haruhime´s main weapon was a bow, at least when she wasn´t using magic. Her style was different from Lefiya´s, since Haruhime was part of the far eastern house Takemikazuchi.
