Boston Harbor Hotel is pure luxury, so the room where the dinner was to take place was festively and luxuriously decorated, all in white and light blue, Padmé's favorite color. The florist did the great work, tasteful flower arrangements, not too much and not too little.

The two photographers were waiting for them to arrive, so they could take pictures of everything. Although it wasn't yet dark, flashlights were emitted from all directions. Anakin and Padmé held hands, hugged, or kissed each other. Nearly two hours were spent on the photo shooting, but since a wedding album will be made later, it should have been worthwhile. You could tell how happy they were, and the pictures ought to capture that.

Her friends were in a good mood and happy that the painful story found a happy ending. They could remember how great things had begun before having a terrible breakdown a few months later. They also recalled seven years of heartache and sorrow trying to mediate, to help, only to find the effort was in vain. It was hard even for her friends...but now they saw their intoxicating happiness returned. It was contagious, especially for those who were headed in the same direction toward a solid, definitive relationship. Sabé and above all Dormé, who would have thought it.

For those who weren't invited to dinner, there was first a champagne celebration. They included many members of the Order personnel as well as some MIT graduate students, studying collages. They included Anakin's supervisor as well.

The nine-course menu requires time to be consumed, so dinner is meant to go a little longer.

After the soup and the two starters, Ruwee stood up and tapped the glass with his fork to draw attention.

"From ancient times till the present, it has been usual for the father of the bride to give his blessing to his daughter's wedding. Nothing took place without his approval. Fortunately, that is now history. My daughter is highly independent, self-assured, and capable of making her own decisions. She doesn't request for her love, and that is great in and of itself. Her happyness works without my blessing. I still like to add my blessing, though. Since granting a blessing does not imply granting permission. The act of blessing someone is giving them your heart, soul, all of your well wishes, and all of your love." he raised his glass. "To you Padmé and Anakin."

Everyone raised their glasses and toasted the bride and groom. Padmé squeezed Anakin's hand and he kissed her hair.

Cliegg stood up as well, though he shouldn't have had much to say. He presented a few amusing stories from Anakin's childhood and said how happy he and his wife are of how far Anakin has gone in his life before addressing Padmé and Anakin, their families, and the wedding party.

The best man's speech is required, so when Ben stood up, everyone was interested to hear what he had to say. Something funny maybe...

"The moment I knew Padme and Anakin were made for each other, was...OK. , long before they knew it themselves. Even then, several years ago, I noticed how perfectly they complement each other. Every single taunt, every swipe from Anakin found the adecvate response from Padmé. Yes, you were born for each other. It had a wonderful beginning back then, only to find an even better ending today,. …and without looking for a long transition to get to the point: we hope to celebrate a christening as soon as possible."

Applause.
Groom's speech is mandatory, so...

"Dear family, dear friends, Padmé and I would like to thank you for the help without which we would not be sitting together and I don't just mean planning this beautiful celebration. Special thanks go to our longtime friends, they know exactly how we arrived this moment. These are friendships for life, Padmé and I are thankful for them. I am the luckiest man in the galaxy to be able to stand here, with this big orchid on my lapel, as groom to this beautiful woman next to me, woman I love, always have loved and always will . She is the love of my life, my only true love….and what else can I say to you, other than to promise that we will make an effort…uh, to celebrate the christening soon."

Padmé stood up and kissed her husband.
More speeches were not planned, otherwise it would be too much.

The next course was served, then the next, and the next, and so on until...

"Hey Skywalker, can I get something to eat here, or are you just letting us serve these morsels?" typical of the ever-hungry Rex.

Anakin raised his hand and called to a waiter who was nearby.

"Waiter, please bring my friend here two tomahawks with all the trimmings."

"Objection !" shouted Sabe.

"Why is that, Mrs. Attorney?" asked Ben.

"What do you think he's going to do after all that eating and drinking, hm?"

"Uh...sleep?" Anakin offered.

"Instead of given." Ben stepped up decisively.

"Hey! I see you're prosecutor, not a judge. Can I get my steak now?"

….and so it went on and on. They acted like they did on campus, although they were closer to their thirties than their twenties. It was fun.

Padmé snuggled up to her husband, kept looking up into his eyes and always got a tender kiss for it.

The last course was a little sweet, after which the wedding cake was to be cut. The cake consisted of nine flat tiered cake bases, all in white, subtly decorated and only had a garland of real white orchids on the side. The nine cake layers were meant to symbolize nine years that had passed since 2012, no matter how those years were, they were theirs. The cake was a sight to behold, a masterpiece of pastry craftsmanship.

Cake cutlery was a gift from Sola, among other things, it consisted of a knife and a cake server made of silver, the handles made of mother-of-pearl decorated with white pearls. This cutlery is meant to be kept as a memento of the wedding day.

Anakin took the knife and Padme put her hand on it. They cut a piece out of the bottom pie crust and fed each other.

"May your life with me be as sweet as this cake, Padmé."

"I'll make sure you always have that sweet piece in your mouth. I love you Ani."

They kissed and spread a lot of the sweet cream around the mouth.

"The wedding cake is the symbol of our sweet love. Come and taste how sweet this is." said Anakin, and then everyone got up to get a piece of the cake.

The band played light music in the background the whole time and now it was time for the newlyweds to dance, traditionally a Viennese waltz. Padmé and Anakin were good dancers, so they put on an perfect waltz on the floor. The dance floor was big enough, so they made a full circle, waltz right, waltz left, and the steps in between.

Then Anakin asked his mother-in-law for a dance, and finally his mother. Ruwee checked that Padmé is not alone and then he danced with her.

"Padme, are you happy?"

"Yes, only with Anakin I can be happy."

"Good. My little girl...that's just your pet name, I know you're already grown up."

"Daddy, why can't you just accept him?"

"I accepted him, Padmé. I just think it's too pitty our firm is losing you. I am the third generation, you could have been the fourth…. But it's more important to me to see you happy. Anakin is smart and educated and he will succeed, but don't forget yourself. Eventually you will be dissatisfied and that is not good for a marriage."

"Don't worry, maybe Ryoo and Pooja will go to law school and then you'll have your fourth generation."

"Or your children, I'm just afraid I won't see it."

"You will."

She kissed her father and everything was fine for him again.

The atmosphere was lively, people drank, ate and danced. Sometime after midnight they said goodbye to their parents, Sola and her family, as they had to fly back to New York very early on Monday.

"Padme and I are leaving now, retiring to enjoy our love, we deserve this. ...but one last thing, Padmé, sit down."

She sat down in the chair, Anakin knelt in front of her and ducked his head under her dress. Everyone clapped. After only a few seconds, he reappeared with the garter between his teeth.

"WOW, bro, bring it on!"

…someone shouted from the background. Anakin didn't turn around, reached up and slung the garter over his shoulder. Like any good wide receiver, Rex jumped into the air and caught the white tip with his right hand.

"Yeah, better than the tight end."

Everyone laughed, although not all were football fans and didn't know the positions of the players.

"So Padmé, now it's your turn."

All the unmarried women, there weren't many, gathered behind Padmé who was about to throw her bouquet. Dormé and Sabé both wanted it. Padmé thought it wouldn't be bad if Dormé caught it, she was close to getting married...but Sabé was faster. Laughter broke out, nobody was expecting this, although... she had a friend now who was asking Anakin something.

"Have you rented the whole floor for you?"

"Uh...no, why?"

"I mean, because of the loudness."

"Asshole." He shook his head. "Good night!"...Anakin called again and they left. Once in the suite, Anakin closed the door behind him and locked it. He came up behind Padmé, hugged her and started kissing her neck.

"Not so stormy, Ani, I have to undress first." She took off the veil and put it on the chair. "Can you help me out of the dress?"

"No."

"What !?"

"Padmé, there are so many buttons I'll never get...I'll use the scissors."

"Are you crazy? Do you know how much this dress costs...it would be a shame to cut it open."

"Why? Do you want to wear it again?"

"Who knows... maybe I love you so much that I want to marry you again."

"Then I'll buy you a new dress."

"Good...now help me out of this one."

"Padmé...it's at least fifty buttons, I'm in pain..." he grinned.

"The longer you're in pain, the better it gets."

"I knew you were a Sith, I just knew it."

She threw her head back and laughed out loud. He turned her over, laid her on the bed, lifted her dress up and pulled down lace panties. She put her legs over his shoulder.

"I needed you inside me now, later we'll take off the dress."

He unzipped his pants, released his hardness and slid his hips into her. Then he stopped.

"Oh Mrs. Skywalker, you feel so good."

"Mr. Skywalker, you don't feel any less good. Move, give me more...now I'm right to demand, your duties you know."

He pulled out and then thrust hard.

"Is that how you want it, Mrs. Skywalker?"

"Exactly, Mr. Skywalker, go on...oh Ani...I'm getting close now...oh god..."

...and so it went all night. They never made love as often as they did that night.
