Knuckles Loves Peach
Chapter 5: Peach puts her foot down
Mario and Sonic retreated back to Mario's house to regroup with the gang. Both of them looks fired up.
"How'd it go?" asked Tails.
"Knuckles is going down." said Sonic.
"WAY DOWN!" yelled Mario.
"Whoa! What happened?" asked Amy.
"Well, we were spying on them and then they caught us." said Mario.
"Knuckles told Peach on how he single handedly defeated the Meterex." said Sonic.
"WHOA! Seriously?!" yelled Shadow.
"Yep, for once, Mario, we'll let you beat some sense into him." said Sonic.
"Like I said before, I'll make sure to send him back to Green Hill on a stretcher." said Mario.
"Allow me to take you." said Sonic as he carried Mario and then ran off.
"MARIO, SONIC, WAIT!" yelled Luigi.
"Violence is gonna make the problem worse." said Tails.
"But still, for Knuckles to make up the story about being the main hero is a new low, Cosmo was the true hero." said Amy.
"I definitely take back everything I said about her." said Shadow.
"It's ok Shadow, you and Rouge thought you were doing the right thing." said Tails.
"I'm just surprised he survived." said Rouge.
"I just went into hiding after that." said Shadow.
"Anyway, should we pursue Mario and Sonic?" asked Amy.
"We should, I fear they might get themselves in trouble." said Shadow.
"Let's move." said Tails.
Meanwhile at Bowser's Castle, Bowser was plotting his next scheme, but then Morton and Roy came in.
"Father, we have some information we need to share with you." said Morton.
"What's going on?" asked Bowser.
"Princess Peach has left Mario, she's dating some red guy named Knuckles." said Roy.
"Knuckles the Echidna? What does Peach see in him?" asked Bowser.
"No clue, all we hear is that they're gonna get married in two weeks." said Morton.
"What? That quick? Something's up." said Bowser.
"Looks like it's up to us to figure out what it is." said Morton.
"That's right, I send some troops for you to set up camp near Peach's Castle, keep an eye on her activities and send me some info the first chance you get." said Bowser.
"Yes father." said Morton and Roy.
Meanwhile at Peach's Castle, Mario and Sonic made it there.
"Ready for some payback?" asked Sonic.
"Oh yeah." said Mario as he started banging on Peach's door.
Peach opened the door.
"Oh hi Mario, what's up?" asked Peach not knowing that he's out for blood.
"Where's Knuckles?" asked Mario.
"Mario, I don't have time for this right now, I'm getting married in two weeks." said Peach.
"Answer the question, where's Knuckles?" Mario asked again.
"Guess we have to do this the hard way." said Peach.
"What's the hard way?" asked Sonic.
"Guards!" Peach called as the toads came in.
"What are your orders my Princess?" asked Toad.
"Throw Mario and Sonic into the dungeon." said Peach.
"You'll have to catch us first." said Sonic as he grabbed Mario and ran into the castle.
"Alert the castle." said Peach.
"As you command." said Toad as he pressed the emergency button.
"Attention everyone in Peach's Castle, we're in a condition Red. Intruders within the castle. Capture them at all costs."
Mario and Sonic are in deep trouble.
Mario and Sonic are deep within the castle.
"We have to find Knuckles before reinforcements arrive." said Sonic.
Mario and Sonic checked every room possible but Knuckles was nowhere to be found. But then all the toads surrounded Mario and Sonic.
"No sudden moves." said Toad.
"This isn't over." said Mario.
