Kuri approached cautiously. "Tanjiro…I need to check your condition…"

Tanjiro stopped growling and snarling and slowly nodded.

Kuri took his head in her hands. "Wake up. Wake up for your sister whose waiting for you. Wake up for your family who died to give you both a chance. Wake up to spite Muzan. Wake up…for me! "AWAKEN!""

Tanjiro stirred and came to his senses.. "nn…Kuri? Nezuko?! You're back to normal! Oh thank goodness!"

Kuri slumped from using her power and collapsed."

"Brother! you saved me! And then Miko saved you! I think your still a demon, sorry about that…" Nezuko said sheepishly.

"I am?! Oh…kuri are you okay?!" Tanjiro said, just noticing her, and starting to get worried. "W-why did you help me?"

"B-because I-I felt you. The snarling, cruel face you were making at me…was breaking your heart…" Kuri whispered.

"I….I didn't want to…"

"No. You didn't." Kuri laid her hand on his. "You were in pain and terrified that you were going to kill me…I hated for you feel such pain." She groaned and sat up. "It's my fault. Handing you the spell book and letting you go off half cocked."

Tanjiro groaned, chastened. "I just…wanted to save Nezuko….it was my fault…"

"Well." Kuri sighed. "You saved her. Now your a demon. That's how magic works. It isn't free. That basket even cost me something. My favorite wreath dried up and died. It is my fault I didn't explain the Rede to you."

"Sister could you help me with Tanjiro? He's still a bit fiesty and we need to glamour him." She whipped him sharply on the head. "Tanjiro! No biting!" He huffed at her. "I told you the bloodlust should ease up in a couple of days. Just keep eating what I give you."

Reiko used the glamour magic on Tanjiro. "Did you tell him it's your blood and flesh you've been feeding him?"

Tanjiro whipped around and growled. "What?!"

"Shut up! He has to eat! And if he eats from me it might purify him faster! And besides! It's ALREADY dissolved Muzan's curse!" Kuri shot back.

Tanjiro's voice was full of sorrow. "…..That doesn't mean I have to agree with it. It was my fault that I did this"

"Tanjiro…I'm hoping it will keep you conscious…I'm-im terrified you'll go feral again." Kuri said in a broken voice. "My power is what brought you back from that…im hoping my blood can save you… I-I don't know what else to do."

"But what if brother gets a taste for it and attacks someone?!" Nezuko pointed out.

"I-I won't let that happen!" Tanjiro cried.

"You won't." Kuri said firmly. "Once youve tasted me nothing else will appeal to you. This way I will be the only one ever in danger. And I can handle myself. If you attack me Tanjiro, then we will die together. Understand?"

"I-I'd never attack you!" Tanjiro said, agonized. "Don't say it like that! I…don't want to hurt you…"

Kuri sighed. "Again I ask…is the glamour okay?"

"Y-Yeah." Reiko confirmed, seeing Tanjiro looked human.

"No the glamour won't be enough. We need to do a more hard core one. But I'll do that. You can go rest."

"Are you sure? I can try to help with that." Reiko offered.

"Hm…actually yes. Tanjiro. What do you think of my sister. You consider Nezukio and me family right? But you don't include my sister, ne?"

Tanjiro blinked. "Why would I not include her?" He was confused. "She would be my sister." He looked at .

Kuri blushed at the innuendo. "um…ok. Then sis you can't help but I would like a mirror please." Kuri wrote a spell.

"Of course!" Reiko grinned at what he said and brought her sister a big mirror. "How's this?"

"That's great! Now Tanjiro. You need to picture in your mind what you looked like as a human. Then say this spell:"

Tanjiro took a deep breath and looked in the mirror, picturing himself as he used to be.

"I call upon the Ancient Powers, to mask me now and in future hours.

Hide me well and thoroughly, but not from those I call family."

"Great job!" Kuri patted his shoulder. "Ok. I don't see a difference. That's good! Now look in the mirror."

"Your right he still looks like a demon!" Nezuko said.

Tanjiro looked in the mirror and saw his human reflection blinking back at him.

"See? Human Tanjiro!" Kuri said in delight.

"What about sunlight?" Nezuko asked.

"Ah hell. Sis. What do we do? I can make him look human but j can't protect him from the sun."

"I can't either." Reiko said. "And I don't think there is a spell that would work for that…"

"We have the basket but that will be suspicious…" Kuri said.

"What about covering him enough to block out the Sun?"

"Covering?" Kuri touched his skin. "I'll do anything. Anything."

Tanjiro blushed at that. "if it works."

"I have a thought. What about a shadow spell?"

"That could work." Reiko said.

"I'll have to write one…" Kuri said.

"I call forth night

To combat the sun

In shadows he fights

With darkness he is one."

"Ok now…your gonna have to test it…" Kuri led him to the door. "against the sun. I-I'll go with you! I won't let you burn!"

"A-Are you sure?" Tanjiro asked nervously.

"Yes." Kuri took his hand. "Just a little bit." Kuri sent him courage.

"Okay. Let's go then. I trust you."

There was a knock at the door.

"um….good luck then?" Reiko said. "I guess we have another customer." She scurried to the other side of the shop.

Kuri took Tanjiro out, and they were sheltered under the house. "it's ok. I'm here. Just put your hand out."

Tanjiro put his hand out and winced, pulling it back in quickly.

"Oh!" Kuri pulled him to her. "It's ok…I'm sorry…I'm so sorry…"

"no no." Tanjiro said. "It's okay. We had to try it."

"You can stay in the basket." Kuri said softly. "I'll explain it…somehow. It's gonna be ok…you'll never burn again I promise! I'm so sorry…"

Tanjiro grabbed her hand. "Kuri. I'm okay. Thank you for trying." He smiled at her. "Thank you for helping…"

"I'll change you back I swear it…!" Kuri said passionately. "But for now…for now we need to get out there. I'm afraid I can't…go far."

"Why can't you get far?" Tanjiro said.

"I'm tied to the shack. It'll move with us as best it can, but if I get too far away…poof."

Tanjiro was alarmed. "How can we break that?!"

"Break? But why would we do that? It'll follow me, so it should be fine."

"No…I don't like it. I'll save you." Tanjiro growled, the demon in him stoked.

"Save? I'm fine, honestly. I'll get Nezuko."

"I don't want you bonded with anything else." Tanjiro snarled.

Kuri smiled, flattered. "I'm sure you'll think of something. Nezuko!"

Nezuko came out. "I have the basket!"

Tanjiro huffed and looked away.

"Ok big brother!" Nezuko called. "Get smaller and get in the basket!"

Kuri giggled.

Tanjiro was so embarrassed and groaned. "do I really have to?"

"It's ok it's no big deal! I bet your really cute!'

Nezuko sighed. "Just look away Kuri or he won't do it."

"BUT!" Kuri pouted.

Tanjiro just blushed even more and still refused.

"Um. Ok." Kuri finally turned around. "I promise not to look."

Tanjiro huffed and shrank down, climbing into the basket.

Nezuko whispered to her brother. "You like her right? I can tell. I'll help you save her. I read in her book that only another bond can bread a bond." She grinned. "find a way to bind her to to you brother."
