In the Underworld Mines, Deku was still making his way through them, looking for Cerberus. A loud growl came and Deku dropped the sword as Cerberus came into full view, and he turned and began to run.

"Deku!" Kristál cried.

She stopped when Deku ran around the corner, stopping behind her.

"Whoa!"

The snarling continued, and Kristál went to draw her bow, when someone whistled, the dogs growling instantly stopping.

"What the hell was that?" Deku asked.

Kristál shuddered.

"I called them off." Hades Stepped into view.

"Who are you?" Deku asked.

"My master," Kristál whispered.

Deku's eyes narrowed. "That makes him my uncle."

"Don't look so surprised." Hades Stopped in front of them. "Who'd you think was in charge of this place... your father?"

"Well, if this is your realm, maybe you can answer a few questions." Deku stepped up fearlessly. "Like why is your guard dog attacking innocent people—namely, your parishioners?!"

Hades examined his nails. "I have my reasons, and I don't have to share them with you."

"L-Leave them alone, Master." Kristál begged.

"Damn right." Deku snarled.

"There's that famous courage people love to talk about." Hades grinned. "Oh, Deku, did you really think you could face Cerberus again?"

"Again?" Kristál gasped.

Hades fake Gasped, mocking her. "You mean he didn't tell you?"

"Cerberus was your failed mission." Kristál reasoned.

"Yeah," Deku hung his head. "I didn't want you to know. Kristál, I couldn't let you down."

"Well, it's nothing to be ashamed of, nephew." Hades patted Deku on the back, laughing. "After all, losing to my little pet is what finally brought us together as family."

Kristál found her courage and readied her bow. "We're not afraid of you."

"Oh. Kristál." Hades smirked. "Or is it 'Lady Priestess.' Trust me, you should be quite afraid of me because the next time you interfere with my family, I will come after yours. And that means you, little hero."

Deku's eyes widened, the picture of defeat, as Hades vanished in blue fire.
