"And that kids," Satoru grinned from ear to ear, his finger raised, "Was how I met your mother." He then folded his arms across his chest, "And of course, I was pretty surprised that she bypassed my Infinity," he nodded in approval of himself, "So I decided to investigate her in secret."
"You mean you stalked her?" Megumi questioned, gruff and deadpanned.
Satoru clicked his tongue and waved his finger to the teen, "Semantics won't make you popular with women, Megumi~."
"As if I care about that..." The teen grumbled, despite the angry vein on his forehead.
"Boys then? I accept you either way," Satoru declared while planting rough, chummy pats on Megumi's shoulder.
"Still..." Yuji suddenly spoke up, his brows raising in wonder, "To be someone who Gojo-sensei likes...she must be amazing."
"She is!" Satoru readily confirmed, cheesing widely. He fished his phone from his pocket and held it up, "Wanna see?"
Megumi looked uninterested and Nobara appeared annoyed, while Yuji's eyes were sparkling. Yuji's hands were balled into excited fists as he nodded enthusiastically, "Uh huh, uh huh!"
"My photo collection is my treasure, so commit it to memory," He told them.
"I'll make sure to forget right away," Megumi replied. They would never admit it, but Nobara and Megumi were just as curious as Yuji. So huddled near Yuji as Satoru unlocked his phone and opened his photo album. When their teacher rotated his phone screen away from him and aimed it toward them, all three leaned forward.
Megumi twitched, "Erk."
"Hah...?" Nobara's enthusiasm fell into sharp incredulity and suspicion.
"...Huh?" Yuji smiled, innocent and without a functional brain cell.
The first picture was a motion blur that appeared like oil paint strokes of ebony, blue, and cream.
The second was of the palm of a hand, nearly blocking the entire lens.
"Eh, Gojo-sensei..." Yuji didn't dare to swipe to a third photo, his brainless smile was stuck on his face as his tone became meek and timid, "Why does it look like...?"
Yuji didn't dare ask.
"Like she didn't consent to these pictures!" Nobara dared with a stomp of her foot.
"Isn't it obvious?" Satoru asked as he tucked his phone away. He giggled like a schoolgirl and raised a hand near his mouth daintily, "It's because she's so shy~."
"Still," Megumi sunk back onto the bench, resigning to let things play out. "Never stuck you as the romantic type," he verbalized his disbelief in his usual cool manner.
"Mm," Yuji nodded in agreement before querying, "Sensei, why did you end up falling for her anyway?"
Satoru coughed behind his fist. "I can think of two big reasons..." He told them, averting his eyes with a lecherous smirk.
"Of course" Nobara's face reflected disgusted as she face palmed. "This poor woman..."
"Number one!" Their teacher's voice suddenly raised as he declared, "My girl is the cutest and nicest woman in the world! She feeds stray animals and helps lost children. Isn'tthatdarling?!"
"I'm actually surprised that he thought of something substantial..." Nobara grumbled to her peers, a sentiment that Megumi nodded to.
