It was a Beautiful day at the Tortuga, the birds are singing. The butterflies are fluttering. The kratt brothers are running-

record scratch

What?

Chris and Martin were running across a field of green grass and yellow flowers. They disturbed every bee that wanted some honey or their hives. They didn't care. It was a happy day for them anyway.

Chris rolled unto the green, laughing, "I can't believe we could go back on the time machine again!"

Martin jumped over his brother and landed flat on his bottom, "I know right?! Aviva took way too long to fix it up."

Chris rolled to his side, "Aviva had to make sure that we don't get fried going back and forth into time. I rather we go and come back in one piece rather than growing a tailor coming back headless."

Martin chuckled, "I know. But sometimes, she's soooooooo slow."

Chris sat up and looked out to the horizon, "I would d anything to have every creature in the world to be safe and running free. No humans to ever hunt them down."

"Well, now you guys can, if you stop hogging."

Chris turned to see Aviva, walking through the tall grass towards them. Martin exclaimed, "Oh yeah, I can't wait! Come on, Chris. Last one is a fried egg."

Martin went running, but Chris stay behind, "He's only saying that because I told him that you take forever so we don't end up being fried."

Aviva chuckled, "I surely don't want two fried brothers. I rather have fried eggs in the morning."

Chris offered his arm, "So, uh, ready to go back to the Tortuga, amiga?"

Aviva's smile tickled her face, "I see you are learning some Spanish. Trying to impress me, aren't ya?"

Chris shivered, his spine chilling at her words, "Uh- No- I just had time to learn while you worked."

Aviva giggled and wrapped her arm around Chris', "I do miss the College Chris."

Chris blushed severely, his whole face turning didn't care to tell him. She knew if she told him, Chris would be too speechless to have fun for the time machine adventure.

Martin waited at the entrance, "Slow poke!"

Chris pulled his arm from Aviva when he got into view of Martin. He didn't want Martin to see him arm in arm with Aviva. Martin's breakup with his girlfriend was already super hard.

Aviva noticed Chris' gentle brush off. She didn't understand why Chris was too scared to keep his approach with her.

Martin said, "I have been waiting for you, slow poke, come on!" With that, he jumped on the trampoline and starting jumping, "I wanna go back to the dinosaur age!"

Chris shook his head, "I am not buying a ticket to death today. I got a better idea-"

Martin exclaimed, "The Giant Sloth!"

Chris frowned, "You just had to ruin it. But i would love to see the saber toothed tiger."

Martin was still jumping on the trampoline. Chris was still standing next to Aviva, wondering what animal he wanted to see so bad.

Martin exclaimed, "I want to see the Dinosaurs!"

Chris shook his head, "You can, but not me. I'm trying to stay alive as is."

Martin was too busy hopping like crazy. Aviva smiled at Chris, "He is so childish. I'm glad you're not like that."

Her words made his blood run cold. He gulped and jumped on the machine with Martin.

But Martin's hops made Chris lose his balance. He fell over and landed on his head.

"Chris!"

His foot activated the button to go back in time, but they didn't have the time to go back into. Aviva was able to shut it down and get down on her knees to see if Chris was okay.

Chris sat up in a daze and just swayed, "I'm okay. Just a little fall."

Aviva frowned, "Chris, you got a massive bump on your head."

Chris chuckled, "I'll be fine-"

Martin hopped more, "He said he's fine! Come on, Chris!"

Aviva pressed a button that made the trampoline turn into a table. Martin landed on his butt with a thud, "Ouch!"

Aviva wrapped Chris' head in a bandage, "That will stop you from jumping so much. Chris can't join you if you jump him out of here."

Martin said, "I can't wait to go. Chris is the slow poke."

Aviva frowned, "But no one gets hurt here, right?

Martin frowned, "Right-"

Chris stood up, feeling a little dizzy from the fall. "I will be fine. Totally not feeling a little twisty."

Aviva said, "maybe going today isn't going to be so okay. I mean, Chris, I think you see birds around your head."

Chris only chuckled. But he shook off the feeling. "But Martin and I planned this day. We have to go somewhere. By the way, Aviva, I feel fine!"

Aviva did a shy smile, "Chris. How? Do you remember the day with the draco lizards? You said you were fine and then tried to go up a tree and ended up having a panic attack?"

Jimmy laughed, "And basically failed at my own game!"

Koki yelled, "Jimmy!"

Chris rubbed his bump and said, "No. I'm going on this adventure and I do not care what you will say to me. I rather bang my head on a rock in the old world then to get stopped here for hitting my head on the floor."

Aviva shrugged her shoulders, "Okay, you ask for it-"

Martin jumped up again and grinned, "I can't wait to go back into time."

Chris smiled, "Just remember to jump alone with me, Martin."

Martin counted, "One, two, JUMP!"

"Martin!"

Aviva pressed the button, "Please be careful, guys!"

Chris jumped alongside Martin and said, "We will be fine, Aviva. We got creature powers!"

With one giant leap, they entered the portal. After they entered, the portal closed behind them.

Martin laid back in the portal road, "I missed this vortex road."

Chris smiled, "There's the exit!" With that, he tossed the safety monitor into the portal hole, which opened to another trampoline to ease their fall.

After they landed, Martin smiled, "I'm glad Aviva put up invisible walls to keep us from falling out."

Chris only stared in front of him, "When did te past become so… grim?"

Martin looked ahead of Chris and said, "Why is everything so grey?"
