Ch017:
Reira stood in his office with a conflicted look on his face,eyes all red from crying when the door suddenly flew open,he tried to turn back but a hand covered his face and he felt himself floating. A few minutes later he was slammed on the ground which seemed to break all around them. Dizziness and pain rushed on to him as he tried to register what was going on.
Ichigo: Stand up...
Wait a minute...he knew that voice. It was the orange haired pest. Groaning he slowly sat up and then climbed on to his feet to see a very unimpressed Ichigo,anger written in his face as he stood in his soul form.
Reira: What's this?
Ichigo: Your little friend is the one who killed Uryū.
Reira: Fei? Yeah, right.
Ichigo punched him and Reira rolled over the group a few times before he stood up starting to get angry.
Ichigo: She told me herself! Uryū is dead because of you!
Reira: Excuse me, because of who? Was I the one dating Fei? Am I the one who was in love with Uryū while I was involved with someone else?
Ichigo: It doesn't matter! All that matters is that if you and your little group didn't involve yourselves in our lives, Ishida would still be alive!
Reira: Oh,does that make you feel better Kurosaki? Does it make you feel less guilty because deep down we both know that you're the one who killed Uryū.
Ichigo gritted his teeth feeling the cut of those words.
Reira: You pushed Fei into killing him. Uryū was killed because you loved him so much that you failed to give that love to someone else...you killed Uryū (angry) And I'm going to kill you for taking him away from me!
Ichigo looked up just in time as a katana was swung at him causing him to dodge and the two fell into an array of kicks,punches or even sword clashes.
Yamamoto, Yhwach, Yammie, Barragan, Unohana, Tousen, Aizen and Byakuya watched as Gin soloed the hollow-vampires who were getting the whooping of their lives. Aizen had a small smile on his face, clearly enjoying this, Byakuya turned to him and Aizen nodded.
Byakuya: What is the meaning of this Soūsuke?
Aizen: You're part of my ban-kai now, everytime someone close to me dies...I can use that person as a fragment of my ban-kai. So you see Bya-chan... you've become immortal just like me.
Byakuya: Does this mean I am not dead then?
Barragan: You're dead alright? But I think you'd wish to die a second time when-
Blood splattered on the floor as Barragan's arm fell on the ground, Aizen giving him a murderous look.
Aizen: Who gave you permission to talk?
Barragan:(in pain) F-forgive me, Aizen-sama!
Byakuya: H-how...?
Aizen: As I was saying,once you become a part of my ban-kai...you can only rise or rather live when I command you to and...you go completely under my control. I make decisions for you...you follow my commands-always. Your job is to protect and please me at all times no matter what the cost is. If not,then I'll see to it that you suffer. Just like right now,I was able to command Barragan's arm to tear off his body and I can also command it back...watch.
Barragan grew another arm as if it was never teared off in the first place.
Aizen: Once you become my ban-kai you and your body along with your powers belong to me.
Byakuya: Y-you m-mean...?
Aizen: Don't worry,I could never do that to you. I only made you part of my ban-kai because I couldn't bare the thought of never seeing you again. I believe that your beauty shall never fade away...ever. So everytime I use this ban-kai...it would be to see and feel you next to me. Feel free to do as you may please,I will not hurt or control you.
Byakuya: This ban-kai... Soūsuke... something like this should not exist. It is too dangerous.
Aizen: I know, that's why I've never used it until now. Too bad I'll have to use it more often now.
Byakuya: Can I?
Aizen looked confused for a moment before he saw Byakuya touching his zanpakuto, Aizen smiled and nodded.
Aizen: Gin,retreat.
Gin looked at Aizen and pouted.
Gin: Ma...Lord Aizen I was still having fun!
Aizen: Do not worry, I'll make sure you get your fun later...for now,come. I think Byakuya would also like to play.
Gin let out one of his famous smiles and walked back, standing next to Aizen.
Byakuya: You let him do whatever he likes as well?
Aizen: Yes. I find Gin's presence... refreshing.
Byakuya: Even if he betrayed you?
Gin: Hey hey! Byakuya-chan we're past that aren't we? It's the after life isn't it?
Byakuya stared at Gin for a moment before walking away dropping his zanpakuto.
Byakuya: Bankai: Senbozakura Kageyoshi.
Zanpakuto's appeared all around him before they splitted into hundreds of millions of small razor blades...and then screams were heard.
Aizen: Beautiful. Byakuya has such a beautiful bankai.
Gin: You seem taken,Lord Aizen.
Aizen just smirked and Gin's smile widened.
Gin: I always knew you had a thing for him.
Aizen: What do you mean?
Gin: You always avoided getting into a fight with him,you know. It was really suspicious.
Aizen: Hm...I guess one would see it like that.
Gin: And that obsession with pink! I knew it was inspired by him somehow.
Aizen chuckled and shook his head in amusement.
Aizen: Che.
Gin: Are you going to take one of them after this battle?
Aizen:(nods) That girl,Fei... I'm impressed by her ability. She can posses one's soul. I want that power - to posses.
Gin: That sounds like a good power.
Aizen: My,but her acting is bad we'll have to work on that.
Gin: I'm always happy to help! Oh my...
Aizen nodded and watched as the last hollow-vampire dropped downed.
Aizen: Unohana-taicho,wake them all up so that Gin can kill them all over again,and then it's Yhwach's turn,then the Head Captain...infact,wake them up until you're all satisfied with them then spare that Fei girl. I have big plans for her.
Unohana: Yes, Aizen-sama.
Gin: Yay!
Byakuya stood back by Aizen's side...
Byakuya: You are just...too powerful. You could have ended us all if you really wanted to.
Aizen: Indeed I would,my love.
After hours of sparring Ichigo shunpoed away from the man who scratched at the air and Uryū appeared...
Ichigo: Wha...?
Reira: This is my power,I can make anything or anything I want appear.
Reira said proudly and Ichigo... Ichigo looked mad.
Ichigo: How dare you?!
He drew a perfect line in the air and a cero formed from his horn at the same time.
Ichigo: Getsuga Tenshou!
Just as the attack was launched,the cero was launched as well. Reira died instantly.
Ichigo: Die,you bastard.
Ichigo and Aizen sat at Kisuke's as everyone looked at them shocked.
Kisuke: You...I can't believe it!
Rukia: (broken) Byakuya-niisama...
Renji: I can't believe he's really gone... Kuchiki-taicho.
An air of silence passed through as everyone paid their respects to Byakuya and Uryū...
Kisuke: You did well, Ichigo, Aizen.
Ichigo: You don't need to tell us that. And... I've decided that... I'm moving to the Soul Society.
All: What?
Ichigo: Maybe I'll get to meet Uryū there, maybe and...I want to begin my life in a clean slate now...
Rukia: Ichigo...
years later...
Aizen became Head Captain and Ichigo was placed as his lieutenant. Uryū was never found. Jugram took over the Quincy empire and...
Kisuke and Yoruichi had took over the protection for Karakura Town.
