The time for the wedding came and went, two hours after the scheduled time came and went and Penelope was losing hope, the minister had talked to Fran about maybe postponing for a day or so. Just as Fran opened her mouth to say no her cell started ringing, she said, "excuse me for a minute, this is my husband", the minister smiled and nodded his head as he watched her walk away to take the call.
Fran said, "Dave, where are you?", Dave said, "Bella, we just landed and we are in route to you now, we should be there in about 20 minutes soooo please tell the bride to be that we are coming because right now I have a groom that is afraid that she doesn't want to marry him anymore".
She grinned and said, "nothing could be further from the truth Dave, she's more determined than anything to marry him, she knows that he'll be here and she's going to wait for him", Dave sighed happily as he told Derek what his mother had said. Dave said, "thanks Bella, you managed to do something that none of us could", she said, "what was that?", Dave laughed and said, "you managed to calm the groom to be down, which was might I add no easy task".
Fran said, "be safe and we'll see you soon, I need to go tell the minister that you're on the way and then go tell the bride", Dave said, "I love you Mrs. Rossi", she grinned and said, "and I love you and I love you". After the call ended she walked over and told the minister that the groom was on his way, he smiled and nodded his head yes as he agreed to stay, she then excused herself to go let the bride know that her groom was on the way.
"Penelope was standing and looking out the window when Fran walked into the room, Penelope turned and said, "let me guess, the minister left, right?", Fran said, "no honey, no, he's still downstairs and Dave called". Penelope smiled and said, "please tell me that they've landed and are on their way here", she took Penelope's hands in hers and said, "that's exactly what I'm going to tell you", Penelope blew out a breath in relief as Fran said, "they have landed and are on their way here, they should be here in a few minutes".
Penelope hugged Fran and said, "thank you, thank you, thank you", Fran laughed and said, "don't thank me honey, just be ready to get married when the team get here and get dressed", Penelope said, "ohhhh I'm ready, I'm ready". Fran said, "you look amazing, that dress is perfect for you", Penelope said, "do you really think so?", Fran said, "I do, I've never seen a dress more suited for a bride in my life".
They turned around when Sarah walked into the room and said, "Dave and the others just made it, they're getting dressed and JJ and Emily wanted me to tell you that they will come to you Penelope when they get dressed". The bride was all smiles as she said, "it's really happening, I'm really gonna be able to marry Derek, I'm really gonna become Mrs. Derek Morgan", Sarah grinned at her soon to be sister in law and said, "yes, soon, very very soon".
It was only a matter of a few minutes before JJ and Emily ran into the room, Penelope hugged her friends and said, "I'm soooooo glad that you're here", JJ said, "we're soooo soooo sorry that we're late but we got here as soon as we could". Penelope said, "that doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is that you're here now", Emily said, "well then PG are you ready to become Mrs, Derek Morgan?", she nodded her head and said, "ohhhh yes, I was born ready".
Across the villa Derek said, "are you sure that she is still gonna want to marry me, I mean I'm no prize, she could do a lot better than me", Reid said, "will you stop it already before I slap you?", Derek looked at him and he said, "she loves you as much as you love her, she's not going anywhere, there is nobody else for her but you, just like there is nobody else for you but her so please on all that is holy, pleaseee calm down".
Derek blew out a deep breath and said, "thank you pretty boy, thank you for calming me down", Reid smiled and said, "any time Morgan, any time" as they walked across the room and out the door so that they could go to the atrium to get the wedding started so that Derek and Penelope could start their lives together as husband and wife.
