The SCP Foundation…
Secure. Contain. Protect.
A Secret Organization that is an entire enigma in the world and one who might save are the real controller of it, compared to Presidents, Prime Ministers, and Monarchies.
The SCP Foundation has many facilities throughout the planet with the most notable and famous/infamous facility in the Foundation being Site-19
The SCP Foundation also has a mission to locate and contain anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena to preserve and maintain normalcy around the world. These anomalies are referred to as SCPs with the SCP Foundation having Special Containment Procedures to contain certain SCPs in designated areas with protocols that are strictly followed and hidden from the general public.
The SCP Foundation however has a hierarchy system of its personnel ranging from Janitors, Researchers, Doctors, Soldiers, and more, with the leaders of the Foundation being unknown or in secret.
The SCP Foundation in its current form is having a problem, a large problem that caused the discovery of Site-19 which is being discussed by 4 high-ranking SCP Personnel in the facility.
The 1st one is a Professor named Kuja, who is seen as a high authority figure since the Professor rank is the third highest in the SCP Foundation. Professor Kuja has frizzy white hair and wears a standard SCP Professor black lab coat while having purple eyes. Kuja's personality is stern and easygoing, but he can be serious when it's needed. Kuja is 28 years old with many being surprised by him to be an SCP professor due to his young age.
The 2nd individual is Dr. Buck. An SCP Doctor who is well respected and very serious at her job, but she doesn't take any nonsense and is considered to be tough, even for the Foundation members. Dr. Buck has long blonde hair, and blue eyes, and wears an open-up white lab coat with a black shirt underneath it, wears a black shirt, and black boots. Dr. Buck is 29 years old.
The 3rd SCP Personnel is Site Director Tilda Moore. She is the current Site Director of Site-19. Dr. Tilda Moose has short orange hair, and dark green eyes, and wears a red suit and pants. Tilda Moose is 45 years old.
The 4th SCP Personnel is Dr. Bright. A Veteran SCP Personnel who's been in the Foundation for a long time, but despite this, many of the Personnel frown upon Bright due to his eccentric, chaotic, and chaotic behavior. Dr. Bright has short orange hair, clear glasses, and tea eyes, wears an open white lab coat with a blue sweater underneath, and is 33 years old.
The 4 talked about their thoughts on continuing the investigation of the Arklay Mountains for a potential undiscovered SCP as a series of Bizarre murders have been plaguing Raccoon City and pose a huge danger for Site-19 if any legit investigations were to take place as the secret is located in the deep regions of the Arklay Mountains.
"I propose that we send in Nine-Tailed Fox soldiers as they are far more capable than regular Mobile task force soldiers… They are well trained and should be sent in to try and get rid of whatever is causing these bizarre killings in Raccoon City."
Dr. Buck told the other doctors as her voice stayed monotone until she said raccoon city when she hesitated for a split second before going back to the monotone.
Professor Kuja is unamused by that solution and discusses his reasons with the female Doctor.
"I respect your decision, Dr. Buck. But I must decline and suggest not to send in any Military units in the Arklay Mountains.
"Why is that, Professor Kuja?"
Dr buck answers with a tinge of irritation creeping into her voice
"Because these murders are caused by wild animals. Sending in MTF or NTF would only be a waste of our resources and also potentially compromise Site-19 as the Arklay Mountains are on high alert if you haven't noticed!"
Professor Kuja stated with a stern voice to indicate his dominance as an SCP Professor while Site Director Tilda Moose listened and Dr. Bright was twiddling his thumbs.
"Well Professor Kuja, you are technically correct, those are some very good reasons. However, with the high alert, it should be taken as a priority. The safety of all personnel in Site-19 is extremely important and we cannot have things that compromise our safety especially when it's this serious…"
Doctor Buck spoke in a monotone voice, but there was a tinge of anger creeping up as even her lips curled up slightly to indicate her feeling of irritation as Professor Kuja was not taking this seriously…
Dr. Buck then looked toward the Site Director to see her opinion on the matter.
"Site Director Moose? What do you think? Should we send in MTF soldiers to investigate the mountains further?"
Moose considered for a moment. It was clear she was processing something internally, but she quickly regained her composure and replied.
"In my opinion, it would not be a good idea to send our Mobile Task Force personnel into this potentially hazardous zone. We should instead deploy a few units of Nine-Tailed Fox to survey the area and determine if there is indeed an SCP present in the Arklay Mountains."
While Professor Kuja gave a large frown upon hearing that, with Dr. Bright smiling, Dr. Buck seemed thrilled that the Site Director agreed with her and nodded her head at Site Director Moose's choice, in agreement "I concur, a very good choice. I will write up an official document to send to the NTFs as soon as we can after this meeting, we need to act fast…"
Doctor Buck spoke as she looked back over at Professor Kuja
"Would you agree with this solution, Professor Kuja now that we have Site Director Moose to confirm as well?"
Kuja shook his head and flicked his frizzy white hair as he responded to Dr. Buck.
"I highly disagree. We did that before with Mobile Task Force Gamma-4 and they failed to report to us as well with MTF strike force Omega-5 with them failing to report in a week later and those two MTF soldiers were some of the most experienced of our military forces! If you send in Nine-Tailed Fox, the results are going to be the same!"
Doctor Buck, who normally has a monotone voice even when dealing with the most dire situations, her voice has now changed her emotions, with her voice having hints of anger in it as she is getting annoyed that Professor Kuja's stubbornness is getting in the way of potentially helping to protect Site-19 from whatever is causing these weird killings.
"I can see where you are coming from, Professor Kuja. That is also true. But you fail to realize one main thing. Those two MTF Units that were sent in had little to no real information about what they were dealing with. The NTFs have far more experience with more difficult SCPs and situations. They have far more resources at hand along with more advanced equipment that could greatly help the NTFs. I agree with Site Director Moose. We should be sending in the NTF units to handle whatever may be in the Arklay Mountains…"
Amid this argument, Dr Bright soon spoke with a statement of his own.
"You two are forgetting one fatal flaw to sending either of these M.T.F. units..."
Dr. Bright says ominously and softly, even looks a bit nervous and interested in his comment
"...what exactly killed the MTF Gamma-4 and Strike Force Omega-5...if a force that wiped out two of our most well-equipped MTF units was there...we would be sending them to their deaths without proper preparation..."
The room fell silent… as if the silence had pierced through not only Doctor Buck but Professor Kuja and Site Director Tilda Moose as well.
"What exactly are you saying, Dr Bright"?
Said Doctor Buck, with a fearful and worried expression on her face, as she didn't let her emotions seep too much into her voice…
took a pause and then said with a smirk
"You heard what I said, what killed the Gamma-4 and Omega-5... it was extremely deadly with it being able to take out two of our best MTF units...so if we just send the NTF in without knowing what they are up against we would just be killing them as well..."
Dr. Bright took a breath as he had another thought
..." or worse..."
Kuja smirked upon hearing Dr. Kuja's point as it aligned to his sigh Dr. Buck called scorn and looked at him, but Site Director Moose had something to say.
"You raise an extremely valid point, Dr. Bright. Until we can identify precisely what killed Gamma-4 and Omega-5, we cannot blindly send the NTFs into the Arklay Mountains without first gathering vital information. Doing so would only put their lives at risk. We must make a more calculated decision on how to proceed with this investigation."
"That is correct Site Director Moose, however, since it is on high alert, we cannot send in regular personnel as they are at high risk of losing their life, nor can we send in Mobile Task force personnel as they are also at high risk. How do we gather this information then?"
Doctor Buck says this with a hint of desperation now, as it is a dire situation in which she is being pressed to answer very quickly…
Kuja with a sly smile speaks out to Dr. Buck and the others.
"We don't even need to send in anyone. This isn't an anomaly case as the attacks were caused by wild animals. We're simply going to let the Raccoon Police Department handle it."
Dr. Buck clenches her fist upon hearing Professor Kuja suggest that with Dr. Bright providing a frown towards the Professor. They didn't care if Kuja was a higher authority than them in the SCP Foundation. His ideas proved disastrous for them. Luckily Moose shook her head, clearly dissatisfied with Kuja's suggestion.
"We cannot risk letting local police forces handle this situation. If there is truly an unknown SCP present in the Arklay Mountains, then that could potentially endanger the safety of our facility and personnel. By allowing the police to investigate the killings, we risk them encountering an anomalous entity that they're not trained or prepared to deal with. Additionally, having civilians in the area could result in widespread panic and public exposure of the Foundation, which would be disastrous for us."
"This leaves no other option than to send in an NTF strike force to conduct a thorough investigation of the Arklay Mountains and determine if an SCP is present. With their advanced equipment and training, they will be best suited to gather information and take the necessary action if required to neutralize any anomalies. However, it is vital that the NTF task force remains undetected and does not compromise Site-19 by being spotted in the area."
Doctor Buck spoke sternly as her monotone never left her vocal cords and expression to indicate her seriousness now Dr. Bright smiled at her while Professor Kuja frowned at her as Site Director Moose asked for a vote.
"Given the current circumstances and urgency of this situation, I would recommend that we send in an NTF strike force to conduct a full-scale investigation of the Arklay Mountains and attempt to identify whatever anomaly or force may be present. I believe that they are our best chance at gathering intelligence and taking appropriate action while minimizing the risks to ourselves. All in favor?"
"Aye!" - Dr. Bright
"I agree with this" - Dr. Buck
Silence, from Professor Kuja…As he wasn't on board with this idea at all.
"What about you, Professor Kuja?"
Site Director Moose asks him…
Professor Kuja looks away and says quietly to them.
"Go ahead, you outnumber me anyway…"
Site Director Moose and Dr. Buck nodded and smiled as Dr. Bright then laughed at Kuja in a way to taunt him.
"Imagine being a Professor and losing your opinion to two mere doctors. Must be my lucky day. HA!"
Doctor Buck did not show any expression that she enjoyed Dr. Bright's taunting comments, but Professor Kuja could sense it
The meeting concluded without more arguments, Doctor Buck then turned back towards her computer to type up a document to be sent to Nine-Tailed Fox immediately as Site Director Moose and Dr. Bright also made their way to their computers to work on things involving this problem, all leaving Professor Kuja alone on the opposite side of the room and to say to himself quietly.
"Damn… The SCP Foundation is only going to get themselves killed… But there is a way to make sure things go to plan."
RESIDENT EVIL
CONTAINMENT BREACH
CHAPTER II
[1998] July 5th
[Location-Site-19, Arklay Mountains-Northwestern Raccoon City]
3:30 PM
Today is a busy day for the SCP Personnel in Site-19 of the SCP Foundation. Researchers and Doctors were seen in the hallways walking to their designated locations for experiments and testing on SCPs as well as Mobile Task Force guards walking alone or escorting Orange jumpsuit D-Class Personnel for testing with SCPs.
In one of the more docile regions of the SCP Foundation, The Light Containment Zone in the medical bay. Two nurses one of whom is 40 years old and is wearing a white nurse uniform the other is a lady in her early 20s and is of Malaysian descent while has brown hair curled down and blue eyes they were attending a young adult female with long Blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and is wearing an orange jumpsuit with the words SCP-105 printed on the back of the jumpsuit.
This young adult lady is an SCP and currently is having an appointment with the twos one of the nurses is a regular SCP Personnel and is the 40-year-old while the Malaysian descent nurse is an Anomaly just like SCP-105, but her SCP designation is unknown to SCP-105.
The 40-year-old nurse is reading over notes on SCP-105's file, checking for any recent updates. Despite her age, she is still just as energetic and upbeat as the younger nurse.
The younger nurse, however, seems to be more reserved and quiet. She has a soft, calming presence that exudes a sense of trust and safety. She also seems to be very attentive to SCP-105's needs, making sure she has everything she needs.
"Alright… Your ears seem perfectly fine SCP-105. Anything else you need?"
The younger Malaysian nurse said to SCP-105.
"Hmm, my throat feels a bit dry. Think you could get me a glass of water?" SCP-105 looks over at the two nurses.
The older nurse looks at the other nurse, raising an eyebrow. The younger nurse simply nods, standing up and walking out of the room.
Meanwhile, SCP-105 looks back to the older nurse, seeming to study her a little bit. The older nurse looks back at her, smiling warmly. She seems to be very friendly and approachable, but SCP-105 didn't know if that was full of genuine or only a professional view since she is aware of the SCP Personnel's dislike and distrust of SCPs which also includes herself which also infuriated SCP-105 as she didn't have any dangerous qualities of evil intentions… So there shouldn't be a reason for the SCP Personnel to treat her as an object or even act hostile towards her… But why, why do they do that anyways to her… If they excuse her anomalies… Iris was only a normal 18-year-old girl…
All the reminiscing made Iris grab onto a document folder which has files of herself and she decided to read it to keep herself occupied.
Item #: SCP-105
Object Class: Euclid(Containment Class Change pending)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-105 is implanted with a tracking device and is currently housed at Site-19.
SCP-105's personal camera (designated SCP-105-B) is contained in a locked safe deposit box at Site-19's High Value Item Storage Facility. Standard positive-action defenses (explosive, chemical, biological, and memetic) are to be in place at all times while SCP-105-B is within containment.
SCP-105 and SCP-105-B or any other camera are only to be allowed to come into contact with the approval of the current managing researcher.
Description: SCP-105 (formerly known as Iris Thompson) is a female human of European descent. Records indicate that SCP-105 was born in 1980, making her 15 years old at the time of acquisition. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and at the time of this article, is 5.1 FT (1.54 meters) in height and 110ibs (50kg) in weight. She does not appear to have any out-of-the-ordinary physical characteristics and appears to be, for all intents and purposes, a normal human being in good health.
SCP-105-B is a Polaroid One Step Express camera, manufactured in 1982. SCP-105-B does not appear to have any out-of-the-ordinary physical characteristics and appears to be, for all intents and purposes, a normal Polaroid camera, operating normally for all persons aside from SCP-105.
When SCP-105 holds a photograph taken by SCP-105-B, the photograph changes from a still image to that of a real-time image of the location in question. SCP-105 is also able to reach through the photograph and manipulate objects within reach of the original point at which the photograph was taken. Persons witnessing this manipulation report seeing a disembodied female hand (determined to be that of SCP-105) reaching out from an invisible portal and carrying out the actions indicated. SCP-105-B and the photographs taken by said camera have no unusual properties when used by any other person.
SCP-105 has demonstrated limited ability to manipulate objects through other photographs, but can only achieve fine control using photographs taken through SCP-105-B. So far, SCP-105 has only been able to significantly advance her ability by using photographs taken by SCP-105-B.
As SCP-105 reads through the file, she can't help but feel a bit irritated by the way it describes her as if she were some sort of object. It also doesn't make her feel any more comfortable to know that she has a tracking device implanted in her.
Suddenly, the younger nurse walks back into the room, handing SCP-105 the glass of water that she had requested.
As the younger nurse hands SCP-105 the glass of water, her soft tone and calming presence seem to soothe her somewhat. She takes the glass in her hands and leans back against the wall.
SCP-105 has come to enjoy her appointments with the two nurses because it's one of the few times she gets to forget about her status as an SCP. She feels safe and cared for with them, and it's the one time each week when she gets the chance to be treated like a normal person. Despite this, however, SCP-105 knows that no matter how much she enjoys her appointments with the two nurses, her status as an SCP never changes. She is still an object to most of the SCP Personnel who see her, and they only tolerate her presence because it is their job to do so. This realization always saddens SCP-105, but she tries to find the positive in it and focuses on the interactions with the two nurses, which are always positive. It's the little things that keep SCP-105 going.
"We never got the chance to talk but? What are your names?"
SCP-105 quickly asks the nurse as she expects them to give her a possible cold answer or even ignore her.
The younger nurse had a smile on her face which took SCP-105 by surprise.
"Oh! I'm Adilah, and she—"
The younger nurse Adilah points to the older nurse as Adilah gives a deep sigh towards her.
"that is Dr. Katherine."
The older nurse simply nods and smiles at SCP-105.
"It's a pleasure to know you SCP-105,"
Dr. Katherine said.
SCP-105 was taken aback by how open and forthcoming the nurses were with her. While she's used to being treated like an object, these two seem to be genuinely interested in getting to know her as a person.
She smiles warmly at them before replying, "It's nice to meet you both, too."
She takes a sip from the glass of water, feeling slightly more at ease now that the conversation is flowing more naturally.
"So what brought you up here to us today? Any problems, or was it just for a regular checkup?"
Adilah asks SCP-105.
"Just a regular checkup. Nothing serious."
SCP-105 replied as he moved her arms and legs just to double if there was anything wrong.
"And the new tracking device we put on you? Any problems with it?"
Dr. Katherine asked.
SCP-105 shifts her attention back to Dr. Katherine as she asks about the new tracking device.
"No, everything is fine with it. It's a bit uncomfortable, but I'm used to it by now." SCP-105 explains, her calm tone betraying none of her inner feelings about the device.
However, she doesn't mention one thing that bothers her about the tracking device–the fact that she feels like she's always being watched, just one small step away from losing what little privacy she has left.
Dr. Katherine smiles.
"That's good. We just want to ensure that you are as safe as possible. We have a lot of strange objects in this facility, and we need to be prepared for anything."
SCP-105 sighs as that statement from Dr. Katherine mildly offends her, but Iris isn't sure about it.
"I know…"
The strange thing, however, was SCP-105 noticed Adilah gave an eye to Dr. Katherine especially when she said strange objects, almost as if it was an attack on the young Malaysian nurse.
"So are you two always working this late, even on the weekend?"
SCP-105 asked Adilah, hoping for an excuse to avoid any more talk about the tracking device or SCPs, which she didn't want to think about right now.
"I usually work late SCP-105, funny enough Adilah and I rarely work with each other at all."
Dr. Katherine says as she looks towards Adilah with a young Malaysian nurse noticing and sighing before she speaks.
"I don't work nights… I usually work from morning till early evening. It's part of an odd condition I have."
SCP-105 seems to relax a little bit as the topic of conversation shifts away from the tracking device and towards more mundane topics. She finds Adilah's response intriguing, and she's curious about what this *odd condition* might be.
"What kind of condition? Is it something you've had for a while?"
SCP-105 asks, taking another sip of water as she waits for Adilah's answer.
SCP-105's question caught Adilah off guard as the young doctor looked toward Dr. Katherine and gave her a forced smile that almost looked like Katherine was commanding Adilah to do something. Adilah then sighs, looking down slightly as she responds to SCP-105's question.
"It's complicated SCP-105. It's something that started happening to me when I was a child… The condition is me… I have a condition that makes me sleep for longer periods…"
SCP-105 nods, sensing that something is bothering Adilah about this condition, though she doesn't want to pry too much.
"Hm, that sounds... frustrating. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that. I can't imagine having to be asleep for so long."
SCP-105 realizes that she's probably prodded Adilah too much now, so she shifts the conversation once more.
"So, what do you do in your spare time outside of work?"
"It is frustrating...it's hard to enjoy life when you're always asleep." Adilah shakes her head before she smiles.
Adilah looks back down towards her hands, not looking at anything in particular. SCP-105 noticed and was quite concerned, but it almost looked like Adilah was ashamed of herself…
SCP-105's question brings Adilah back from her thoughts, and she smiles warmly.
"Hmmm, I usually spend most of my time in my room and read a lot."
SCP-105 senses that Adilah seems troubled, even if she's doing a good job of hiding it. The way she's looking down at her hands and sighing makes it clear that something is bothering her, but SCP-105 doesn't want to push it.
"Reading, huh?"
SCP-105 asks though she doesn't sound surprised by the answer.
"What kinds of books do you usually read?"
Adilah sighs and answers in a slow, measured way.
"I mostly read a lot of horror and psychological thriller novels like Desperation by Stephen King. ..., but I do sometimes read a few romance novels here and there."
Adilah shifts her tone towards one that seems a bit more cheery, though it's still noticeably different from how she normally speaks.
"I recently have been reading medical books from Umbrella Pharmaceuticals for further practice learning regarding nursing,"
SCP-105 smirks with amusement as Adilah mentions romance novels, and she can't help but tease a little bit.
"Ah, so you're one of those hopeless romantics?"
SCP-105 asks with a playful grin. However, it causes a sudden tone shift in Adilah's voice and body language. SCP-105 didn't want to pry too much. Instead, she simply nods her head and responds to Adilah's other revelation which interests SCP-105.
"Umbrella Pharmaceuticals? Aren't they one of those popular drug companies?"
Adilah doesn't laugh at the playful remark of SCP-105, it seems to have bothered her since she got a noticeable shift in her tone.
"Well… they are well known, but I've been studying how they've managed to create certain medical practices and how they got there… research,"
Adilah explains before shrugging.
"It's just that those practices are something that could be useful to other medical professions."
Dr. Katherine knew of Umbrella as well and made further comments about it.
"Isn't Umbrella's main headquarters here in Raccoon City? Kinda embarrassing to have such a famous organization be near Site-19."
SCP-105 laughs a bit as she does find it funny that it was known the facility they are in.
"Ya… That is kinda funny, but Umbrella… That name sounds familiar."
SCP-105 pauses for a moment, thinking about where she heard the Umbrella before, she remembers hearing it in her childhood, but Iris couldn't remember the full details which soon led her to dismiss it until Adilah mentions something to SCP-105.
"SCP-105, don't you have testing that you have to report to afterward?"
SCP-105 pauses for a second and glances at Dr. Katherine, who is giving her a gentle but stern look, while Adilah is smiling at SCP-105, but the smile almost looks like Adilah is feeling bad or even feels pity towards her.
"Ah right, thanks for reminding me, but before that, do you two have any more questions for me, or can I go now?"
SCP-105 said as she stood up, holding the now-empty glass of water.
Adilah shakes her head as she looks back down at her hands.
"No, nothing else, I guess you should go now."
As SCP-105 heads for the door, she waves goodbye to the nurses and thanks them for their time.
Adilah gives her a small wave and she smiles back at SCP-105 as she opens the door by pressing a button which opens it sideways and closes it.
Dr. Katherine, however, doesn't wave goodbye to SCP-105 as her expression is still stern and she's giving a stern look at SCP-105 which Adilah notices and feels offended by this.
Adilah sighs as she notices Dr. Kathrine look at SCP-105 with a stern look on. She was getting rather tired of these kinds of looks from Dr. Katherine who doesn't seem to like SCPs at all…
"I know you don't like SCP-105, but you don't need to give her the death stare all the time…"
Adilah muttered under her breath, which Dr. Kathrine heard quite clearly, and so the older woman just sighed and frowned.
"Oh… It's not just SCP-105… I also don't like you…"
Adilah gave Dr. Katherine an eye, but she didn't even bother to intervene. She knew why exactly the older nurse didn't like her, and instead decided to continue with her work.
As SCP-105 went outside of the medical bay in the Light Containment Zone, she spotted her Mobile Task Force escort guard who didn't seem to be happy with SCP-105.
"It's about time you got out… You were there for half an hour…"
SCP-105 rolled her eyes at the MTF guard as she walked out of the Medical Bay. She knew that they had a job to do, but it was annoying that they always seemed so impatient and pushy with her.
"Relax, I was just having a chat with the nurses. Sorry it took a while but it's good to stay in touch with the staff, right?" She responded, her tone remaining polite but with a slight edge of sarcasm.
The MTF Guard gave Iris an eye even though he was wearing a helmet and chuckled at her as an insult.
"You? An SCP as a staff of the Foundation? Pah! That will never happen."
SCP-105's smile quickly faded as she heard the MTF guard's dismissive comment towards her. She didn't appreciate his dismissive tone, but she wasn't going to let him get to her. Instead, she simply laughed it off as if it didn't phase her.
"Oh, I know. Believe me, I'm well aware of my position here at the foundation. I'm just saying that it's nice to be friendly with the staff even if I can't exactly be one of them."
The MTF guard wasn't amused by SCP-105's comment at all and made a large scoff noise at her.
"You're only wasting your efforts so enough with your ramble and follow me to the testing chamber in the west ring of the Light Containment Zone…"
SCP-105 rolls her eyes again and just shrugs her shoulders to confirm her understanding. She didn't have time to argue, so she decided to just obey.
"Alright, I'll follow you to the testing chamber,"
SCP-105 replied before starting to walk towards the west ring in the Light Containment Zone during the travel SCP-105 saw several doctors, researchers, and more MTF guards walking and roaming around as they went through hallway after hallway and corridor until they reached an L shaped-corridor connected to the testing chamber on the right side of the hallway. The two entered in with SCP-105 seeing a familiar face she wasn't thrilled to see, Dr. Connors. Although many SCP Personnel respected him as an intelligent and well-mannered doctor, he had a strong dislike for SCPs, including SCP-105.
Dr. Connors' expression was as cold as could be, as he wasn't happy to see SCP-105. In his eyes, it was a waste of time and resources to keep maintaining her, considering her ability.
"What took you so long?"
Dr. Connors barked, trying to sound intimidating, but SCP-105 wasn't going to let it phase him.
"I was having a chat with the nurses. Is that a problem?"
SCP-105 asked with a small smirk.
Dr. Connors frowned at SCP-105 and responded with.
"Let me guest! One of them is Adilah, of course, you two would connect… You both are the same…"
SCP-105's eyebrows raised slightly as she heard Dr. Connors' comment. She wasn't sure how exactly she and Adilah were similar, but her interest was piqued by his comment.
"Oh? In what way are we the same?"
She inquired, though it was obvious she had an idea of what he was going to say next.
"An SCP doesn't have the right to know! Besides, it's time for us to further test your abilities."
Dr. Connors soon looked at the MTF Guard that escorted SCP-105.
"Leave us and stand outside until it is time for SCP-105 to leave."
As the MTF guard nodded and left the room, SCP-105 smirked a bit and knew what was coming next. She knew that Dr. Connors was going to continue testing her abilities.
"Well, looks like it's time for my monthly ability testing. What will it be this time?" She asked, her tone dripping with subtle sarcasm.
Dr. Connors rolled his eyes at her sarcastic tone and gestured towards a chair in the center of the large round and featureless room.
"Just sit down and we'll begin. Let's see if you can still do your silly little trick, or have you somehow become even more useless?"
"Don't worry. Nothing has changed… You'll see."
SCP-105 replied, before taking a seat in the chair.
She was confident in her abilities and she was not going to be easily intimidated by Dr. Connors' remarks.
While she remained composed, it was clear that what Dr. Connors had said had hit a chord with her. She hated being seen as useless due to her abilities and Dr. Connors' snarky behavior wasn't helping.
Dr. Connors rolled his eyes again, it seemed he didn't buy her confidence. Still, she had proved herself many times before and this will be no different.
"Just focus on the painting in front of you."
Dr. Connors said a bit condescending as he pressed a few buttons on a control panel located off to the side.
The painting in question was a simple landscape image of a green field with trees and flowers and no noticeable flaws. SCP-105's eyes focused on the image as she prepared herself for the test.
"The painting itself is an accurate representation of a park located in Raccoon City. While it is known that you can manipulate photographs, the Foundation wants to know if you can manipulate paintings as well."
Dr. Connor said to SCP-105 in the same serious tone as SCP-105 looked at the painting.
SCP-105 didn't respond as she continued to look at the painting. Her powers were mainly confined to photographs, and she'd never really thought about whether or not her ability worked on paintings as well, but she was willing to find out.
She focused on the painting intensely, hoping that it would work and she would be able to manipulate the image. She also made sure to not blink for too long, since she had noticed that if she did so for too long, it would break her focus and cause the ability to not work.
SCP-105 continued to focus on the painting, nothing about it changed. That is until her ability came in and worked. The small field with trees and flowers, a simple but realistic painting, quickly shifted into a real-time window of space of what the park itself is… It almost looked like it was a TV except it wasn't. This was all in SCP-105's doing.
Dr. Connors looked bewildered by this. He hadn't expected this painting to be one that SCP-105 would be able to manipulate.
"How long can you make it last?"
He asked, his voice dripping with both surprise and concern as he still had no intention of showing any kind of approval towards SCP-105's abilities.
SCP-105 took a moment to think about how long she could maintain the "window" before looking back at Dr. Connors and replying.
"I could keep it going for a while, but would it make a difference to you? Your mind is already set on the fact that no matter what, my abilities are useless."
SCP-105 didn't bother hiding the annoyance in her voice, but she kept her voice composed and calm.
Dr. Connors gave an annoyed scoff at SCP-105's words since he never denied the fact that he viewed her abilities as useless.
"You're right. You are correct."
He replies shortly.
SCP-105 just rolled her eyes at the reply as she focused on the painting. She decided to make it a bit of a challenge to herself and see just how long she could maintain it. She thought it'd be nice to at least show Dr. Connors and the rest of the foundation personnel that her ability wasn't useless.
SCP-105 focuses heavily on the painting and her ability, it seems she's trying her best not to blink as she concentrates on maintaining the "window" she opened up. She knew that if she made it long enough, then Dr. Connors himself would have to admit her ability wasn't useless to some extent.
As time passed, the paint began to gradually shift and warp until eventually the park that once looked so realistic began to look like it was starting to be painted over by a more surreal painting.
Dr. Connors was watching the painting closely as the surreal painting slowly covered what the original painting was supposed to look like. He looked shocked, which would almost be funny if he wasn't so infuriating.
"Hmmmm, interesting… This is certainly a new development."
Dr. Connors with a stern voice, but SCP-105 had a feeling he was trying himself up from admitting that held value as the doctor jotted something down on his clipboard and soon looked at SCP-105 again.
"SCP-105 stop."
SCP-105 was enjoying messing with Dr. Connors, but eventually, she would have to stop as even she knew she could take it too far. So when Dr. Connors commanded her to stop, she immediately stopped. When she did, everything returned to normal and the painting was once again just the landscape of the park.
SCP-105 just sat there for a moment before glancing back at Dr. Connors with a look that screamed.
Dr. Connors gave a small huff and simply looked away, not wanting to even acknowledge that SCP-105 had just shown him that her ability had some actual practical usage. SCP-105 was quite happy with herself for finally catching him off guard, but he wasn't going to let her off on the idea that her ability was still useless according to him.
"I still think that your ability still serves no practical purpose, but I will inform the other researchers about this discovery if they haven't already found out about it. You might see some new tests in the future."
SCP-105 was a bit disappointed by Dr. Connors' response, but she did expect him to say something like that. She wasn't surprised that he wasn't impressed by the fact that she could manipulate paintings even though it showed just how versatile her ability was and how it wouldn't only be limited to photographs if tested on other things such as paintings and drawings.
"Yes sir. But before you go, can I ask you a question?"
Dr. Connors rolled his eyes at the idea of an SCP asking for a question for once and sighed as he replied.
"What is it?"
SCP-105 smiled at that response as she asked her question.
"How come you have such a strong dislike towards SCPs? You don't have any other reason other than you seeing us as a waste of resources. Do you?"
Dr. Connors took several seconds to think about the question before responding. It seemed he didn't want to answer it at first until he eventually did.
"That is because you SCPs are a threat to normality, some of your kind have caused injuries and death for the many personnel here, but not just personnel, innocent lives too! Especially for what is going on in the Arklay Mountains!"
SCP-105 just stared at him after he made his last point. It was true, many SCPs were a danger to the many innocent that had no idea. What's more, Dr. Connors had brought up the Arklay Mountains which was unexpected, she had heard news about strange bizarre murder cases of Raccoon City civilians being eaten, however, it wasn't just civilians but MTF soldiers as well, but SCP-105 didn't know if this was caused by an SCP or something else.
Dr. Connors looked at SCP-105 with a slightly surprised expression as he was expecting to have to explain what he had meant.
"Don't be so naive SCP-105! The foundation is fully aware that it has something to do with SCPs since many witnesses that were taken in for questioning or examination by the foundation reported seeing these strange creatures in the woods and around the area!"
"Strange creatures?"
SCP-105 thought to herself as she wondered what Dr. Connors meant. She senses the worry and fear, along with hatred in his tone, but SCP-105 is puzzled as to what strange creatures the Doctor is talking about. Were they SCPs, undiscovered SCPs, or perhaps wild animals… or maybe—
"Anyway, testing is now done! You will be sent to your designated SCP mess hall."
Dr. Connors stated as he interrupted SCP-105 from having an inner monologue where she gave him a confused look.
SCP-105 rolled her eyes at the doctor's abruptness, but she knew that she was being dismissed.
"Yes, Dr. Connors."
She replied with a bit of annoyance in her tone as she quickly got up and headed towards the doors.
"I'll head to the mess hall as you have requested."
"Good! Because afterwards from your break I believe you have a mental evacuation due with Professor Kuja."
Dr. Connors responded in a quick and serious voice.
SCP-105 only nodded at Dr. Connors, acknowledging that she had heard him.
She wasn't looking forward to that, as the meetings with the Professor always left her feeling drained and empty after they were done, even if the Professor in question was more easygoing than the other SCP Personnel. She still had a strange feeling about him.
SCP-105 quickly headed out of the room, where she spotted the MTF escort guard from before standing as he was waiting for Iris to finish with testing.
"So how did it go little SCP… Still no changes with your boring ass camera powers…"
SCP-105 was pretty tired of the insults the MTF guard always gave her regarding her photo manipulation powers, but as long as she completed this annoying task, she could get her break soon.
"Don't worry about my ability, it's not my fault you still can't comprehend the idea of someone being able to take your silly little photos and change what's on them," SCP-105 replied, making sure to add in the last part of her mocking tone just to mess with the guard.
The MTF guard just shook his head.
"That is because no other person in the world can do that, you abomination… I don't even know why you were born to begin with…"
The MTF guard's words stung SCP-105 like an enraged bee, as it had brought up a question she didn't have an answer for and it even caused her to feel more depressed than she had ever since she was contained by the SCP Foundation for 3 years. Still, she didn't want to show any sadness to the MTF guard who clearly won't give sympathy to her so she tried her best to shrug it off as they continued through the Light Containment Zone hallways.
As SCP-105 and the MTF continued on their way, she was wondering how she was going to handle this next meeting. She had a feeling that Professor Kuja was going to dig and get her to open up about at least somewhat personal things, and she was going to hate every minute of it.
As long as it was less annoying than being berated by Dr. Connors, SCP-105 guessed that she could probably take it.
The pair soon reached a small custom-made room area that was designated as a costume mess hall area for Sentient SCPs like SCP-105 who were docile and weren't considered too much of a threat in Site-19.
SCP-105 entered the mess hall area with the MTF, hoping that she would be able to just get this over with. The mess hall area was relatively quiet, with only a couple of SCPs in the area such as SCP-527, SCP-590, and SCP-347, talking amongst themselves.
"Here you are, back in your natural habitat with the other freaks… hahaha."
The MTF said in a cold and arrogant voice.
SCP-105 didn't say anything in reply to the MTF, just stared at him as he mocked her. She was too tired to bother with his insults right now, but luckily for her, the MTF left after hearing no reaction from SCP-105 which her sigh as she walked over to the continental area which was a cold bar freezer area with packed refrigerated food since the SCP mess hall doesn't have the luxury of having a chef and even if they was one, they would most likely be rude to SCP-105 and the other SCPs.
After grabbing her small packet of heatable pizza and cooking it in the microwave, SCP-105 went to find a table to sit alone, but there weren't many open spaces causing 105 to sigh, so she sat down at a table with a few other SCPs talking to each other. However, they didn't take any notice of SCP-105 as they continued their conversation.
SCP-105 then started to eat her pizza alone as she began to reminisce about her time with the SCP Foundation. She was of course originally a normal girl with a normal life before she was captured by the Foundation and 105 missed every second of it as she went through her memories. However as SCP-105 was sitting down, an SCP sat down across from SCP-105 and said something to her.
"Hi there... SCP-105 was it? been a while since we saw each other, hehe."
SCP-105 immediately perked up at hearing someone call out her name followed by a familiar voice, one that she hadn't seen in a long time. As she looked up she saw a young female teenager that looked 2 years younger than SCP-105 with hooves as feet and antlers like a deer, and the iris on both of her eyes were indifferent with the one on the left being amber/green, and the one on the right being bright blue, but other than those anomalies, teenage girl is a humanoid female with regular arms, legs, head, and long blonde hair while she wore a long white dress.
SCP-105 soon recognized this teenager as SCP-166, The Teenage Gaea
SCP-105 then nodded as she replied to SCP-166 in regards to their last encounter which was a couple of months ago.
"Yep, it's me, It's been a while. I see you haven't changed a bit."
SCP-166 laughed sheepishly.
Ha. Yeah, guess I never will. And as I can see, neither did you. How have you been?
SCP-105 was starting to feel a bit nostalgic as she began to answer SCP-166's question.
"I could be better. I could be doing something other than being imprisoned by the SCP Foundation."
She was still kind of upset at the situation she was in, having been taken away from her parents to be held in the hands of the Foundation. But she wanted to be calm with her replies as she didn't like the idea of fighting over small things like this, plus SCP-166 was a friendly SCP.
SCP-166 nodded in agreement as she felt the same pain that SCP-105 had.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I don't know what it is that we did to deserve this kind of treatment by the SCP Foundation... I've only tried to get closer to humanity, but for some reason, they don't like us."
SCP-166 looked down at the ground in thought.
"You know I'll never get used to being treated like this... It makes me sad to know there's such a big gap between humanity and SCPs…"
SCP-105 nodded at SCP-166's response, in full agreement with what she said.
"I know exactly what you mean."
SCP-105 felt a bit of pity in her heart when she saw the sad look on SCP-166's face when she looked down as she was speaking.
"I feel like the main problem with humanity and SCPs has to do with misunderstandings. I mean a lot of non-SCPs have never met or even heard of SCPs before."
SCP-166 nodded as well in agreement.
"Yeah. My mom always used to tell me about how scared many people in the outside world were of SCPs like me and her... But you know, I never could quite understand. There are human SCPs like me and you, and even though I may have deer characteristics, I'm just as normal as a regular girl, So how come the doctors are afraid of us? Maybe it is just the misunderstanding between SCPs and humans. I guess that explains why we're kept away in places like the SCP Foundation…"
SCP-105 nodded again at SCP-166's final comment.
"I think so. Sometimes when I hear what other people think of us, I just wish they realized just because we look different from them doesn't mean we are that different from them on the inside. But unfortunately, I guess that's also why people fear the unknown, cause they don't know how to deal with it."
SCP-105 had a little sigh of disappointment now as the pair continued to eat their lunches in silence. SCP-105 noticed the teenage Gaea's sad expression which further made her feel like a dark gloom was above them, so to relieve this scenery of depression and sadness, SCP-105 switched topics from the SCP Foundation itself to the bizarre murders of the Arklay Mountains that she had been wondering about since Dr. Connors, mention it to her.
"Do you have any idea what is going on with those strange murders in the Arklay Mountains?"
SCP-105 asked, hoping to change the tone of the conversation since she didn't like the direction the conversation was going in.
SCP-166 took a small bite of her food and paused for a moment when SCP-105 asked her the question.
SCP-166 thought for a moment about the recent murders that had been taking place in the Arklay Mountains.
"The murders... You mean the one where the people are killed and then eaten by an unknown creature?"
SCP-166 swallowed a little of her food as she waited for SCP-105 to answer her question.
SCP-105 nodded at SCP-166 as she responded.
"Yep, that's the kind of murder I'm talking about. I'm not sure how these murders are happening Dr. Connors says that he thinks an SCP is responsible for it, and while it could be, it's not confirmed, or at least from what I have heard from anyone else."
SCP-105 took a bite out of her pizza as SCP-166 was intrigued by what 105 mentioned to her about SCPs being a culprit.
"Do you know if an SCP can escape to the mountains because of this or maybe it's something different."
SCP-166 thought about the question for a moment and seemed hesitant as she was about to answer.
"Well… you see, the thing about the mountains… is that I heard rumors of strange monsters that lurked in the Arklay Mountains…"
SCP-105 looked puzzled and intrigued at SCP-166 as she spoke of a strange monster lurking in the Arklay Mountains which only raised more questions in her head as Dr. Connors mentioned strange creatures also.
"What do you mean by strange monsters?"
SCP-166 looked slightly uneasy as she continued to explain what she was talking about.
"I'm sure it is true since I heard rumors from other SCPs… but…apparently, the strange monsters are wild dogs that are much stronger than the average canine while also looking more terrifying."
SCP-105 was still puzzled but she was also starting to feel slightly worried about where this was going, as her worries were becoming more and more intense as SCP-166 continued to explain.
"Wild dogs…"
SCP-105 thought to herself for a moment.
"And I'm assuming they are the reason for the deaths that are happening in the Arklay Mountains?"
SCP-166 was slightly nervous as she continued to answer SCP-105's last question as she wasn't sure if this was even true.
"It's only a rumor. Besides I'm sure it's just those dangerous dogs… It could be something else, maybe an SCP at play" I don't know, but something to show so suddenly in the mountains is strange… It could be undiscovered SCPs"
SCP-105's heart nearly skipped a beat as SCP-166 finished off with her last sentence which was regarding the possibility of unknown SCPs being in the Arklay Mountains. Now she was feeling anxious about the rumors she had heard and from what the teenage gaea was telling her, which gave her the thought that if it truly was an SCP, it could potentially be very dangerous if it remained undetected.
"I agree… it could be possible to be undiscovered SCPs… maybe it's another SCP that they are keeping secret from us, who knows? But one thing for sure is something is causing those murders… either those strange dogs or maybe even something more."
SCP-166 was then finished with her food as she looked at SCP-105 and answered.
"Maybe that's the case, but I don't want to think about this anymore as it is because the idea of killing terrifies me."
SCP-105 had finished eating her food as well, and while her mood was somewhat dampened by the topic of the conversation that had just occurred, she could agree with SCP-166's statement that the murder was terrifying her as well.
"Yeah… it would be best for us both to change the topic of our conversation from the murders to something else. Something less… worrying and frightening to think about."
SCP-166 smiled at SCP-105 as she nodded in agreement.
"Yeah… I agree with you, let's… not talk about the murders that have been happening nearby anymore. We want to enjoy each other's company, not worry about something horrific like that, do we? So what do you wanna talk about?"
SCP-105 was glad to see that SCP-166 had cheered her up, and she didn't want to go back to that depressing mood from before, especially now that they could finally focus on something other than the murders that had been going on.
So when the teenage gaea had asked what SCP-105 wanted to talk about she wanted to mention her mental evaluation with Professor Kuja that she would be having after her lunch break.
"Well… actually… I got my mental evaluation with Professor Kuja just a little bit. I'm kinda anxious but I feel like I can make it through without getting depressed, even if the questions will be a bit more personal than usual."
SCP-166 looked a little concerned and somewhat sad when SCP-105 began to explain what she was anxious about.
"Oh, you do? Well… I'm sure it'll be fine! Professor Kuja seems nice, you shouldn't worry too much about it. And don't forget that the whole thing will be over before you know it!"
SCP-166 was confident in SCP-105 that she would pass the mental evaluation with flying colors and hopefully, it will be an easier process than she thought.
SCP-105 was slightly relieved when SCP-166 was confident in her ability to pass her mental evaluation and gave the teenage gaea a bright big smile.
Soon the SCP mess hall doors open to reveal an SCP Personnel wearing a white suit with a red tie on it while he had red hair tied in a slim ponytail and wore circle black glasses.
SCP-105 recognized the SCP Personnel as Head Doctor James Lee, one of the more notable and achieving doctors of the SCP Foundation and also one of Professor Kuja's best assistants or rather friends.
SCP-166 was surprised to see such a formal greeting from the Head Doctor, especially as normally people were much more rude towards people like her and SCP-105, but his calm politeness was soothing to both of them as it made them feel at ease with him being there.
"Greetings SCP-105 and 166."
SCP-166 smiled sheepishly at the Head Doctor,
"Yes, it was quite good. Thank you for asking."
SCP-105 gave an agreeing nod to SCP-166, who had responded to the Head Doctor's friendly greeting. She was a little surprised at the fact that the Head Doctor was being so polite towards the pair of SCPs, but she appreciated the gesture in his approach despite her being a bit wary of what was about to come next.
The Head Doctor had now turned to look at SCP-105.
"Good to hear. You might want to finish off your lunch quickly since you have your evaluation ahead of you."
SCP-105 immediately gulped down the last bite of her pizza as she was beginning to feel uneasy about what was going to occur later on.
"Right... I guess I better get going before I am late on my evaluation. It was good to see you SCP-166."
She was trying to finish off the conversation quickly, but at the same time, she wished she could also stay and chat with the teenage gaea a bit longer.
SCP-166 was about to respond to the Head Doctor when it seemed that SCP-105 suddenly decided to quickly leave the table that they were both sitting at.
"It was nice to see you as well, SCP-105. I hope your evaluation goes well."
The teenage Gaea then began to feel slightly bummed out that the conversation was ending as she wished the two of them could continue to talk for longer, but she also understood that SCP-105 was feeling hesitant and nervous over her upcoming mental evaluation.
SCP-105 got up from her seat as she prepared herself mentally to face what was potentially ahead of her with her upcoming evaluation.
"Thanks, same to you!"
SCP-105 gave the teenage gaea an optimistic smile, one that would hopefully stay optimistic even after her evaluation with Professor Kuja.
SCP-105 then began to walk away from the table, and as she walked out of the mess hall, she couldn't help but feel a sense of anxiety for the evaluation that she was about to face as she continued walking through the Light Containment Zone with Head Doctor James Lee escorting her.
SCP-105 was now walking beside the Head Doctor as they made their way through the Light Containment Zone and reached a checkpoint area with multiple doors Head Dr. James pulled out a white keycard with an orange/red accent while having the words Level 4 on it. Head Dr. James swiped the keycard on a black slotreader on the side of the checkpoint emitting an orange/red light where the slot made a happy beeping sound where the checkpoint doors opened, which led them to an area in Site-19 called The Entrance Zone where Head Dr. James asks Iris a question.
"So, how are you feeling?"
The Head Doctor began asking, which SCP-105 was starting to get irritated by the questioning already. The questions from the evaluation weren't starting yet and she was already feeling nervous and worried.
"I feel anxious, sir. I'm not sure why you asked, I feel like the way I'm feeling is kinda obvious."
"Don't be so tense, it's just a casual conversation to help take your mind off things. Just answer with the first thing that comes to mind, don't give too much thought to it."
The Head Doctor was rather polite with his attitude toward SCP-105, but she was still feeling slightly irritated that he brought up such a sensitive topic so casually with her. So she gave out a sigh and spoke to Head Dr. James, what kind of questions do you think Professor Kuja is going to ask me? You might have a more general idea since you two are friends or rather close associates.
"Well... Professor Kuja is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these kinds of evaluations, and his questions will seem like they're going to be very straightforward, but he has a way of digging to the deeper stuff without even trying."
The Head Doctor paused for a moment as they were walking.
"But, honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. He's just trying to see where you're thinking and how you respond to different situations."
The Head Doctor continued to casually talk while walking, but to the point that it was making SCP-105 feel like he wasn't taking them seriously. SCP-105 sighed again as she continued to walk beside the Head Doctor toward the Entrance Zone and she then responded to him.
"I know... but the thing that worries me is why Professor Kuja is asking me all these questions. It just seems unnecessary for me to go through this evaluation. I feel like I should be treated like I'm fine and not like some fragile object."
Head Dr. James slightly chuckled at SCP-105's response as he expected her to answer with that response.
"But you know that we have to see how you're doing from time to time, right? It might be annoying or aggravating at times, but we need to make sure your mind is alright. Now I want you to promise that you won't get mad at Professor Kuja during the evaluation, okay?"
SCP-105 let out a slightly annoyed tone when the Head Doctor said what could be expected, but what got on SCP-105's nerves was the fact she was being forced to promise to not get mad at Professor Kuja during her evaluation.
"Fine! Happy? Fine... I promise not to snap at him and I'll remain calm. Is that good enough for you?"
SCP-105 wasn't planning to be rude to Professor Kuja during the evaluation, but it would be very challenging to stay calm without getting annoyed.
Head Dr. James gave SCP-105 a look as he responded.
"Professor Kuja may seem over serious like some of the other boring ass doctors here such as Dr. Buck, Dr. Roberts, Dr. Connors, Dr. Price, and much much more, but he and also importantly I am only doing these evaluations with certain SCPs to better understand you mentally more and possibly help make containment life for you all better. Some Doctors in the Foundation do care and want change to happen, but the process is still only a thought as we speak.
SCP-105 looked at the Head Doctor as he had just given her quite the lecture to her and it was pretty obvious that SCP-105 was listening. She had to admit that he had a point, but she was still anxious and feeling on edge about the evaluation she would be facing in the next little while.
"Yeah... I know that. Professor Kuja seems devoted to his work here, and he's a much more interesting person to talk with compared to some other doctors of the Foundation."
Head Dr. James rolled his eyes as if he understood what SCP-105 was saying.
"Oh believe me. Some of these people I hate working with."
SCP-105 chuckled at the Head Doctor's remark when he admitted to hating working with some of the other doctors within the Foundation. It was pretty amusing how he had opened up to her like this, but it was much better than having a long monologue of him trying to give SCP-105 a lecture on all the benefits of having regular evaluations and such. Eventually, they reach an E-style corridor with the middle hallway leading to Professor Kuja's office with Head Dr. James knocking on the door where after a few seconds it opens to reveal Professor Kuja sitting down in his office chair.
Professor Kuja was leaning back in his office chair as he nodded to the Head Doctor while he gave a somewhat cheerful expression.
"James Lee!"
"Yo."
Head Dr. James said to Professor Kuja so casually which slightly confused SCP-105 as she very rarely would see two SCP Personnel talk to each other in a manner like this..
After that small interaction, Professor Kuja then gestured SCP-105 to sit down as she slowly approached forward to look around the office to notice Professor Kuja's office was luxurious, featuring leather chairs fitted with pillows, A large painting on the back wall that depicted an entire city in ruins at night while also having 3 empty holes in the paintings that almost seemed like something was supposed to be put inside. Kuja's office also had a record player, a large TV on the front wall near the door, and a large cabinet desk on the side that presumably held a bunch of confidential info on the SCP Foundation. Where SCP-105 took her seat in one of the office chairs while Head Dr. James just stood up with Professor Kuja saying something to the head doctor.
"So, we've come here for SCP-105's evaluation? I can already tell that she looks a little tense and anxious."
Head Dr. James made a small laugh as he pointed to SCP-105 and said.
"Ya, she was. Literally shaking in her boots as we were walking through the halls."
Professor Kuja sighed a bit as his expression quickly turned serious in a calm manner as he responded to Head Dr. James with a polite voice while he had his hands behind his back.
"Did you attempt to give her any encouraging words to calm her down? Or did you say some of your classic depressing shit…"
Professor Kuja didn't seem mad as he was just being straightforward with the Head Doctor about what happened before they entered his office.
The Head Doctor began shrugging his shoulders before speaking again.
"Well, I might have given her a more casual conversation than encouraging words, but I believe I may have encouraged her, either that or I brought down tears."
Professor Kuja then ended when he just sighed and shook his head as he gave a small chuckle noise at Head Dr. James with SCP-105 looking at the two doctors as if she was dealing with two weird friends, soon Head Dr. James gave a small wave to Professor Kuja and said,
"Well, I guess I should let you do your job… See ya bud—"
"Wait, James… Once we finish our objectives, make sure you meet back as we need to take care of some business after the meeting I had earlier…"
Kuja quickly said as he interrupted Head Dr. James.
Head Dr. James turned to Professor Kuja with his eccentric face turning into a frown.
"I see… Then that means we have big problems right?"
Professor Kuja nodded as Head Dr. James took the hint and soon left and gave SCP-105 a good luck wave the female SCP was confused about what happened, but Professor Kuja turned his attention to SCP-105 to initiate the evaluation by sitting down in his chair with a smile before saying to her.
"I guess we should start then. Can you please try to stay calm throughout this? You have nothing to worry about. We just need to evaluate your mind today and see how you're doing. Is that okay?"
SCP-105 looked a little nervous after hearing what Professor Kuja had just said as she began to swallow her throat.
"U-umm... O-okay... I'll try to stay calm. Is that good?"
Professor Kuja nodded once again and continued to talk.
"I would hope not to upset you or make you nervous. Now, let's begin. First off, let's talk about your history. Is there any mental illness or trauma that you have dealt with in the past?"
SCP-105 was somewhat taken aback by this sudden question, mostly due to the fact it had brought back some negative memories that she had forgotten all about.
"Um... S-sort of, I-I'm not entirely sure if you would call it a trauma or illness but I-I have suffered a fair bit in the past."
Professor Kuja then nodded and replied with a sympathetic tone.
"I understand. Well, let's move past that topic as we don't want to focus too much on the bad things. Now let's move on to your mental state. How would you say that you're feeling right now? Are there any thoughts that are weighing you down or anything similar?"
SCP-105 had mixed emotions inside her head as she wanted to remain as calm as she could but she began to feel increasingly uncomfortable from the questions that Professor Kuja was asking her.
SCP-105 looked around the room for a few seconds as she tried to keep the nervousness from her voice.
"I feel nervous, very nervous... And I have many thoughts inside my mind right now and they're all piling on top of one another and it's getting hard to focus on anything."
Professor Kuja looked at her and nodded.
"I see. Now let me ask you a very important question, are any of your thoughts negative? And what I mean by negative is the thoughts that have suicidal ideation, self-harm, or any thoughts that you think of hurting someone else. Are such thoughts plaguing your mind at this moment?"
SCP-105 went silent for a few seconds before she responded.
"... Y-yes… Those kinds of thoughts have been haunting me for the past few months, and they've been getting worse and worse as time has gone on."
She looked down and began looking more nervous when Professor Kuja asked her a very crucial question and the doctor was right, she had been having all three kinds of thoughts haunting her and it was beginning to get worse and worse over time.
SCP-105 continued to stare down at her lap as she was starting to feel like tears were going to start pouring down from her eyes as she continued to answer Professor Kuja.
"H-how bad is it? It's b-been p-pretty b-bad recently. I-I constantly feel a great sense of s-shame and guilt because of the bad things that I think about myself and others."
Professor Kuja seemed very concerned now and it seemed he felt bad for having to ask these kinds of questions to her.
Professor Kuja noticed the tears that were beginning to appear on her face and decided to do something that no other doctor would likely do. He got up from his chair and approached and kneeled to her level where he was now directly looking into her eyes.
"Now look, you're having a very bad mental state right now, and it's clear that these kinds of thoughts are beginning to get the better of you. But, I just need to check and examine one last thing, do you plan to act on those thoughts?"
SCP-105 began to feel slightly uneasy the more Professor Kuja kept asking this kind of question and her thoughts started to speed up at a fast pace as she began to feel stressed out. She was tempted to tell him that she did plan to act on those thoughts, but she was unsure of what his response to that answer would be. So she instead decided to answer his question in a way where she tried to avoid it.
"I u-umm... I don't c-care about myself anymore, but I-I care enough about others I-I don't want to hurt them."
Professor Kuja nodded once again as he seemed a little glad that she didn't have any plan of hurting anybody, but the fact that she didn't care about herself and had those negative thoughts in her head was still concerning to Professor Kuja. Now, there was one final thing he needed to examine about her.
"And one more question. If given an opportunity, would you leave the Foundation and live your life outside?"
It was a pretty straightforward question and SCP-105 had never thought about this kind of hypothetical scenario before, but she didn't really need long to figure out what her answer was.
"W-well... yes, I-I would. I-I never really liked being here, it's always felt like I was being constantly watched by all kinds of people. I-I just want to feel free, I want to live without having to watch every single action I make. I want to live a normal life that a normal girl would have…"
Professor Kuja sighed as he stood up and took a small glance around the room, and then he looked back at SCP-105 and shook his head.
"Unfortunately, at the moment, you are not allowed to leave Site-19 permanently. Even with me being a Professor that would still break Foundation protocols and I don't want you or me to get in trouble.
SCP-105 wasn't sure how to respond to this, she was getting slightly annoyed at the fact her freedom was being restricted even with Professor Kuja knowing that she would leave this place as soon as possible if she had her chance. So, she sighed and responded to him.
"I expected that answer, but it still doesn't make it any less frustrating to deal with."
Professor Kuja seemed to be somewhat understanding of how frustrated she was starting to feel as he responded but in a more positive manner.
"It is frustrating… I don't know as much as you and other SCPs, but I can tell you that you aren't worthless. In fact, you're a very unique SCP, something that we as a Foundation want to explore more in the future. Perhaps at that time, you would be given more opportunities?"
SCP-105 was slightly surprised when he referred to her as unique, mostly because all she felt was a burden and someone that no one really wanted to be around.
"U-umm… r-really? I-I-I am very unique. A-and that I am not worthless? I-I feel like no one wants to be around me and I am just a burden to everyone…."
Professor Kuja shook his head, and he still kept that gentle look and tone while speaking.
"You truly are unique even with you being one of the SCPs that have more unorthodox reality-bending abilities and yes, you are definitely not worthless. You may have a bit of trouble, but at least you haven't gone crazy and gone out of control like other SCPs in the Foundation. You still have some control over yourself, and that does mean something to us as a Foundation. So please, don't sell yourself out to be some kind of a worthless individual."
SCP-105 thought about what Professor Kuja had just said as her whole attitude had completely shifted. It was very hard for her to accept all these words that he was saying to her, but despite it being difficult, she couldn't help but feel at least a bit relieved and happy.
"Th-thank you… Your words mean a lot…"
SCP-105 finally smiles as she wipes her tears off her face and soon resumes a normal composition.
Professor Kuja looked at her for a few moments, seeing that the whole exchange between her and him had lifted her spirits from how low they were before. However, there was only one thing left to talk about he then decided to take a final glance around the room before facing her and speaking.
"Now, there is one last thing I want to discuss before this evaluation is completed and that is on the topic of containment. Are you satisfied with your current containment unit and how you are being treated so far?"
After hearing the question, SCP-105 felt a little conflicted about what she should say and decided to think about it instead of immediately responding. She didn't mind her containment unit that much, but she often felt lonely within it, and how she didn't get much social interaction with others. So she thought carefully before speaking.
"T-that's a tough one… Sometimes I don't mind it because of how I often get to have a lot of things I want regularly, but I often feel very isolated and lonely within my unit…"
Professor Kuja took a few moments to think and think until he got something.
"That might be able to arrange something for you SCP-105."
SCP-105 perked her head up as her eyes widened a little once she heard him say that he may be able to arrange something for her.
"R-really? Would I be able to see other people more often? Even just being able to be around more people would make me happier in my overall life."
"Yes, probably a lot more, but I still need to make arrangements and talk to… certain people, but don't that might possibly happen,"
Kuja stated that the process would take some time.
SCP-105 nodded once again as she understood that things may not change for a while. However, she felt happy with the fact that Professor Kuja was trying to do something about it instead of doing nothing about it and just letting her keep dealing with the isolation.
"I understand that it will take some time, but I don't mind the wait. Just having a hope of being able to do this does make me happy."
Professor Kuja soon smiled at SCP-105 as he looked at the time, and noticed it was 4:30 PM.
"I guess that concludes your evaluation of SCP-105."
"Is it already done? I thought it would take longer…"
SCP-105 was looking at Professor Kuja with a slight look of confusion as he looked at the time.
"So, what's next once this is done?"
SCP-105 was pretty unaware of how most of this process worked as it had been quite a while since her last evaluation.
Professor Kuja gave SCP-105 a straight answer.
"Literally nothing. You have completed all of your assignments today, so you are free to return to your Containment Chamber. I will escort you that day myself. Ok?"
SCP-105 nodded as she seemed slightly relieved to be done for the rest of the day.
"Alright, I'll be counting on that, and thank you for today. It's been a pretty nice meeting with you and this evaluation has helped ease my nerves for today."
With that, SCP-105 got up from her chair and began to walk towards the door as she waited for Professor Kuja to lead her back to the Containment Chamber. She was looking forward to relaxing and not having any more issues for today.
Professor Kuja would soon follow behind as he began to lead SCP-105 back to her Containment Unit. He seemed happy that she now seemed more calm and relaxed after their evaluation, and soon he began to speak to her.
"Now before we get to your room, do you have something to ask of me? SCP-105."
SCP-105 thought long and hard about what her question would be for Professor Kuja. She felt the questions would have for him were irrelevant and was about to shrug it off until a small lingering thought appeared in her head. *What are the Professor's opinions of the Arklay Murders?*
"Umm, Professor Kuja you are aware of the Arklay Mountain murders right?"
Professor Kuja was slightly taken aback by this sudden question and he began to raise an eyebrow at her.
"Um... yes? I am aware of them, why do you ask?"
SCP-105 paused for a second to think of what she was going to say, but she soon found the words and asked.
"I just wanted to know if the SCP Foundation is going to do anything about it?"
Professor Kuja gave a loud sigh to SCP-105 and answered reluctantly.
"Technically I'm not supposed to reveal that information to lower clearance level personnel, but I guess I will answer you since you ask nicely. Currently, the SCP Foundation felt it would be best to send in a Nine-Tailed Fox unit to investigate the area."
SCP-105 couldn't entirely hide her shock as she heard Professor Kuja answer her sudden question.
"N-nine-tailed fox…? T-that's something serious right? C-can you please elaborate more on this?"
SCP-105 was feeling pretty worried at what she had just learned, she was now really feeling nervous again after hearing that news about something possibly going to happen and she wanted more knowledge about it.
Professor Kuja rolled his eyes as he didn't like that idea which surprised SCP-105.
"Ya it is for the SCP Foundation, but for intelligent people like me, it's clear that these murders are caused by a string of wild animal attacks."
Iris then remembers what SCP-166 told her about a rumor with monster dogs, but she didn't want to completely tell Professor Kuja on where she got it from.
"Ya…That's probably what is going on, but it could be something else."
SCP-105 stayed quiet as she didn't know how to proceed in this conversation. Professor Kuja was saying that these were just animal attacks, but something still felt off to her. However, she didn't want to argue too much about this to avoid causing a problem.
"Oh… W-well if you insist that's what's happening, I'll believe you, but something still feels a little off with that. W-will you at least update me on this as it goes on?"
Professor Kuja's suspicions lay down as he sighed and nodded once again as he was fine with updating her with whatever news came up in the future.
"Of course, I will, I will ensure that you get any news whether it is about this case or some other news about the overall activities of this Foundation and other SCPs. That's good with you?"
SCP-105 nodded her head as she felt this conversation was nearing its end. She was still worried about everything, but she knew that at least Professor Kuja was willing to update her with any information.
"Yes, that sounds good to me. Thank you for entertaining my questions today, Professor Kuja."
Professor Kuja gave a simply acknowledged nod towards SCP-105 as they soon reached SCP-105's Containment Chamber in a T shape hallway on the left-hand hallway Professor Kuja used a level 5 keycard which was white with red accents on the slot reader which emitted a a yellow light to open SCP-105's door where the female SCP entered in and Professor waved a goodbye at her as the doors close.
Professor Kuja then did the simple wave goodbye and the doors to SCP-105's Containment Unit closed. SCP-105 then just sat down on her bed and she began to look around her Containment Unit, thinking about everything that had happened to her during her evaluation. She felt somewhat better, but a little paranoid still at what she heard about the Nine-Tailed Fox unit. She just wanted to have a normal life… is that too much to ask for?
SCP-105 couldn't help but feel a bit suspicious about everything and she wasn't sure what to make of it all. She felt like everyone was hiding something, even The Professor when he was talking about the murders and it made her uncomfortable not knowing what was truly going on.
"I-I don't think those murders could simply just be wild animal attacks, there has to be something else going on… Right?"
After that thought SCP-105 yawned loudly and felt tired as today was a long day for her. SCP-105 soon lay flat on her bed and tried to feel as comfortable as possible as she was hoping that she would be able to fall asleep with no problems. Her exhaustion had already begun to take over her and she began to feel somewhat tired as she was getting ready to go to sleep, with hopes of a dreamless sleep and a better tomorrow for her.
[1998] July 5th
[Location-Raccoon Forest, Arklay Mountains Northwestern Raccoon City]
8:00 PM
In the night gloom of Raccoon Forest, a group of 5 Soldiers wearing a black and orange uniform wander around the dark and eerie Raccoon Forest which lies in the Arklay Mountain region of Raccoon City. This group is the Mobile Task Force unit Epsilon-11 well known in the SCP Foundation as the Nine-Tailed Fox unit. This special Mobile Task Force is one of the most elite and experienced of the entirely military units of the SCP Foundation, with their primary job to secure containment breaches that might happen on sites and facilities, but they are also sometimes tasked if needed as backup for dire situations or as a last result of military faction. The Nine-Tailed Fox unit was tasked by Site-19's Site Director Tilda Moose to investigate the Arklay Mountains for a possible undiscovered SCP after the failed attempts of MTF Units Gamma-4 and Omega-5. Despite the confidence of the soldiers being highly experienced an uneasy feeling is felt as the 5 soldiers roamed in the dark and mysterious forest with the soldiers talking among each other about their thoughts on the mission.
"So the SCP Foundation has finally assigned us to this case…Why if the murders were caused by a possible undiscovered SCP, what kind do you think it is?"
One of the soldiers answered their question.
"It's a wild guess but I was probably thinking SCP-096 since the victims were eaten… but don't take my word for granted. The higher-ups might not want us to say too much…"
Soon another NTF Soldier with a deep country accent spoke out to the other soldier who mentioned SCP-096.
"That can't be impossible since SCP-096 hasn't breached containment at all."
The other NTF soldier got irritated by the country accent NTF and quickly stated.
"Then, how do you explain those murders? The reports say that the victims had their faces caved in. There's no way a human could do that."
"Could have been done by SCP-953, she normally eats people…"
A 4th NTF Soldier who has a quiet speech to his teammates.
The other NTF Soldiers all looked at the quiet NTF as if he had told them something stupid.
"That is more stupid than saying SCP-096 is the culprit! First of all, SCP-953 is contained, she normally only eats human pancreas, and also She wouldn't usually reside in forested areas, you dumbass!"
The 5th NTF Soldier who was the captain of the group shouted at the 4.
"HOLLA DOWN YOU 4! We need to focus and continue scouting the area, it doesn't matter what SCP or anomaly is located in the mountains, but we need to hurry and contain it before we risk exposing Site-19."
The 4 NTF Soldiers nod and continue scouting the area looking for any unusual activity or signs indicating that an anomaly or SCP has been roaming the area. The group stayed on high alert and kept watching their surroundings to make sure that no one would surprise them, but each moment they took several steps, it felt like they heard bushes rustling and an unknowing presence following them.
The 5 NTF Soldiers continued their patrol when suddenly, they heard a loud rattle coming from a bush behind them. Everyone had their guns raised and ready to shoot at whatever it was. However, there was no sign of anything as they continued to wait when another sound happened, this time it was fast steps slowly walking towards them. The 4 Soldiers kept aiming their weapons at the bush while the captain looked behind for any incoming attack. The steps got louder until all of a sudden…
"BAAAAAARRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKK!"
"HOLY SHIT!"
One of the NTF Soldiers yelled as a monstrous dog tried to attack them, but it was quickly shot down by the automatic rifles they had.
*RATATATTATATTATATTATATTATTATA!*
"ARF!"
The monstrous dog sounded as it was killed by automatic rifle bullets from the NTF Soldiers.
"Christ! It was just a damned dog… What the hell is wrong with this place? Nothing seems to make sense here!"
The 4 NTF Soldiers lowered their weapons and all looked down at the dead carcass of the monstrous dog to notice the strange and monstrous properties of the dog with it having an exposed ribcage, 2 missing ears, and pure white eyes.
One of the NTF Soldiers spoke aloud,
"Sir, did you notice this… it doesn't look normal."
The captain went ahead to inspect the dog's body.
"You're right, there's something strange about this dog."
He kneeled and inspected it to see if he could learn more about this creature until they all heard more barking.
"BARK BARK BARK BARK BARKKKK!"
Soon more and more of the monstrous dogs appear from the forest.
The NTF soldiers quickly pointed and shot at the dogs.
*RATATTTTTTTTTTT! RATTTTTTTTTTT! RATATATAT!*
The rounds from the rifles caused the dogs to fall back but more kept coming from the forest, there were at least 15 of the dogs, or maybe more.
The NTF soldiers had to quickly start backing away, but the dogs continued to come out of the forest.
*BARK BARK BARKKKKKKKK!*
It seemed like the dog's barking was getting louder and louder. The soldiers were being slowly backed up toward a cliff. The captain raised his gun again to shoot, but his gun jammed.
"SHIT!"
The captain as his weapon jamming in a situation like this is a bad moment itself, but one of the monstrous dogs soon tried to leap towards him, but at a quick reaction speed, the captain pulled out an M1911 handgun and fired point blank at the wild dog.
*BANG BANG!*
"ARF!"
The captain successfully killed the dog, but unfortunately, more dogs were coming and the soldiers were running out of ammunition. They needed to find a way out or they were going to die.
BARK BARK! BARK! BARK!
The captain of the NTF soldiers grabbed a radio and quickly attempted to yell at it.
"This is Alpha to base! We need immediate extraction! We have too many hostile dogs coming at us! OVER!"
Despite the NTF captain activating and yelling at the radio, only static can be heard with no operator on the line… Even the radio communications were jammed.
"Damn, they jammed our radio as well! What the hell is going on in this forest?"
The captain complained and continued firing at the monstrous dogs along with his squad. They still needed to hold out as long as possible before they were able to possibly form a clear signal for the radio.
*RATATATTATATATTATAT!*
*BANG BANG BANG BANG!*
"ARRRRRRRFFFF!"
Soon the NTF Soldiers finally defeat the large portion of monstrous dogs with none being seen as the soldiers sighed in relief.
The captain raised the radio again to see if there was any signal. As he did, he realized something was wrong with the radio… it was completely damaged with some parts missing.
"Looks like these things can jam our radio and even damage it…" one of the NTF soldiers pointed out.
"Then how will those damn higher-ups know about the situation in the forest?" The captain sighed.
"I don't know, but we'll find a way as long as we continue our search. Let's go."
The NTF Soldiers nodded and were about to leave until suddenly—
*THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!*
A loud thumping noise is heard which makes each thump that almost has a thunderous sound to it becoming Louder. Louder. The trees started to shake violently, shaking the leaves of the tree tops and sending a gust of wind down through the forest to the NTF soldiers and the forested area below them. The wind kicked up dirt and dust and dust which quickly filled the air. The dust cloud quickly began to expand, making visibility even lower in an already thick forested area. The pounding and thudding of the ground from below the NTF Soldiers became louder and louder until they spotted a large humanoid with piercing white eyes on them. He wore a black large leather trench coat which squeaked slightly as he breathed in and out in low breaths, which became louder as he approached. Every bit of movement from the trench coat man makes the leather cry out, it's tight around his enormous stature. His footsteps are deafening, and thunderous as he marches towards them. The NTF can hear the numerous belts adorning him clacking as he stomps.
An enormous black coat-wearing man stands in their sight, covered in debris. It's hard to make out much of his features except his piercing, white eyes are the only visible things about him that make him noticeable. They could see it now, he had to be at least 8 feet, 2 inches standing tall. The NTF soldiers stared back at the man, and the captain of the group spoke up.
"Who are you?"
The man in the black coat just stared at them for a moment, making no movement but simply gazing at them in silence. Despite him not making any noises, or sounds, or not even talking, a great sense of fear and terror is bestore on the 5 NTF soldiers as they aren't shown if what they are seeing is a normal man, an undiscovered SCP, or something else entirely.
The captain slowly raised his M1911 Handgun and pointed it at the man in black. The other NTF soldiers did the same by using their AR's. They weren't sure what was going to happen, but they knew that at any moment, they could end up in a shootout with this man.
"Please state who you are and what you are doing here."
The captain asked the silent and presumably mute large humanoid trench coat man.
The man in the black coat continued to not make any movements or even speak. The large man still maintained his gaze upon them as his piercing white eyes pierced right through them as if he were examining them. The large man with his black coat stood tall, his stature so large that his back was almost to the tree behind him, making his height look even taller.
"Captain! What should we do? Should we shoot this big motherfucker!"
One of the NTFs yelled at the captain as he and the other NTF soldiers weren't sure if they should point their weapons at the large man they weren't sure if they could even kill him.
The captain then tried one more time to speak to the large man with a more threatening voice.
"IF YOU DON'T TELL US WHO YOU ARE RIGHT NOW YOU WILL BE TAKEN INTO SCP FOUNDATION CUSTODY FOR QUESTIONING! AND RESISTANCE OR HOSTILITY SHOWN WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION!"
The large man with the black coat still didn't make any moves, only just staring them down with his piercing, white eyes. He wasn't even phased by the captain's threats. His body remained motionless except for his breathing in and out, creating a low and hushed sound as he breathed. He finally broke his stare and broke his silence by tipping his black fedora towards the NTF soldiers which made a small, notably squeaking noise. The NTF Soldiers became confused for a slight second as they wondered what the large man was doing. Was he surrendering or was this an act of aggression, but they soon learn when the ground below them started vibrating with the 5 NTF Soldiers almost losing their footing.
The ground shook violently. They could hear something massive walking towards them, the trees swaying violently as the ground rumbled. The large black that-wearing man made no motion at all. The man had his head tilted slightly to the side as his piercing white eyes were focused on the NTF soldiers with a blank, emotionless look. The large, black trenchcoat-wearing man had said nothing so far, still not moving except his breathing in and out. Even the soldiers themselves were? silent, they could hear the violent shaking of the ground getting closer and closer to them.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHHH!*
A large hole suddenly formed something jumped out of it the 5 NTF Soldiers became confused at first until something dropped down in front of them with such force that almost sounded like an explosion impacting, dirt and dust flew by as the NTF Soldiers couldn't see anything, but they next noise they heard was something that startled them.
*BA DUMP!*
*BA DUMP!*
*BA DUMP!*
"What the! Is that my heartbeat or your guys!"
One of the soldiers says with the others hearing it as well and soon panic ensues as the heartbeat sounds unnaturally loud.
"I'm not sure if a regular human beat can be heard!"
The captain said to other soldiers, but soon dirt and dust cleared up to see that they were facing a humanoid creature that was slightly taller than the already large trench coat man and looked even more monstrous as the creature didn't wear any clothes, but it's skin was slightly white with a hint of red as veins were seen around the body. The humanoid creature also had regular legs and arms, but its right arm hand was instead large claws as well as a bulbous part of the skin on its left leg, and a large exposed heart that was beating on the left side of the large humanoid's body.
*BA DUMP!*
*BA DUMP!*
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!"
One of the soldiers screamed as he saw the large humanoid creature, but what was more terrifying was it was in league with the large trench coat man it stepped back slightly while his expression was still emotionless as he stared at the monstrous humanoid creature next to him with no facial expression. His black hat covered his brow, and even with all the noise going on it, it seemed that the large man with the black coat was completely unbothered and stoic despite the chaos next to him. The man didn't even flinch and it seemed that his piercing, white eyes were focused on watching the large humanoid creature's actions until the trench coat man slowly tipped his hat to the side and soon the large humanoid creature began attacking the NTF Soldiers as if the large trench coat humanoid commanded him.
"Open fire!"
NTF Commander shouted, immediately, all the NTF soldiers opened fire upon the large humanoid creature that was attacking them. The loud gunfire echoed throughout the forest, and the bullets hit the large humanoid creature but didn't seem to penetrate its flesh at all. Instead, the bullets just fell off of the large humanoid creature, as if it was hitting an impenetrable wall. The large humanoid creature seemed unfazed by the rounds as it charged into the NTF soldiers and lunged its claw at 2 of the soldiers. Gutting them completely. The Large trench coat man continued to watch this with the same stare as the battle continued.
The large humanoid creature continued to rip into the NTF Soldiers and the large trench coat man continued to observe the battle in a quiet fashion. All of the NTF soldiers continued to open fire upon the large humanoid creature, using bullets of any type they had on their person, but nothing seemed to even phase this creature, only slowing it down for a moment as it continued to tear into the NTF soldiers.
"AURGGGHHHHHHH!"
One of the NTF Soldiers screamed after the claw from the large humanoid creature ripped open his torso and tossed him onto a tree as if the soldier was a ragdoll, leaving only 3 more NTF Soldiers and the NTF Captain.
"Damnit! What is this thing!"
The captain yelled and complained as it was as powerful as an SCP they would normally go against! However, something feels different about this humanoid creature, as if it was trained to specifically deal with the NTF Soldiers and their… tactics…
As the NTF Soldiers continued to fire on the creature, the large man still maintained silence and didn't do anything as they heard the violent noises of combat come from the creature.
The large humanoid creature continued to tear apart the NTF Soldiers brutally as they tried every tactic to slow it down and even kill it, but this creature seemed indestructible! The humanoid creature suddenly charged forward, tackling one of the NTF Soldiers into a tree as the tree fell and the soldier died instantly upon falling onto the ground.
"AURGGGHHHH!"
The NTF Captain yelled as the large humanoid creature lunged towards another one of the last few survivors and began ripping apart at the man, this time the Captain and last soldier only being able to do one thing… Run.
"We have to leave!"
The captain yelled with the last soldier agreeing as they ran away from the humanoid creature which slowly approached them, but the large trench coat man wasn't going to let them escape.
The large trench coat man made a small motion, tilting his head to the side again. His movement signaled to the large humanoid creature to hunt them down. The large humanoid creature let out a guttural noise as it quickly ran at rapid velocity to chase down and follow behind the NTF Soldiers. The large trench coat man simply remained still, his stare fixated upon the fleeing men as his piercing, white eyes pierced their backs as he watched them run.
The NTF Soldiers could still hear the loud thudding noise of the large humanoid creature gaining on them as it chased them to catch them. However, the large trench coat man stood still like a statue despite the loud noises echoing behind him. The large trench coat man didn't make a sound and didn't make any motions either, but this wasn't even the most terrifying thing about the trench coat man.
The large trench coat man then made one swift motion, the man raised his free left arm in the air. Instantly when he raised his arm, a loud screech and loud thudding noise echoed throughout the surrounding area as he lowered his arm back down to his side. The loud noise echoed and then went completely silent for a moment. Until…
The large humanoid creature suddenly appeared right behind the NTF soldiers, and it was now faster and much faster than before! It made a large charging motion as it lunged at the last NFT soldier which automatically killed him and soon the creature tackled the NTF Captain to the ground and began trying to rip him apart!
"AURRRRRRRGGGGGH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The large humanoid creature would tear and rip at the NTF Captain until finally, the trench coat man made no motion or sound except a slight movement with his leg. The trench coat man walked slowly over to the NTF Captain, stepping over the mutilated bodies the large humanoid creature had created previously. The trench coat man stood over the ripped-apart body. Then, the trench coat man simply crouched down to examine the body… The NTF Captain was dead…
Soon a radio went off the trench coat man who then picked it up from his pocket and listened to a mysterious static voice.
"Hello. Mr. X… Did you manage to take off the NTF Soldiers with the help of our… asset?"
The trench coat man dubbed as Mr. X said nothing as he stayed silent and simply listened to the static voice on the radio as he stared at the NTF Captain's body, but he gave a loud snap with his fingers to indicate to the radio operator that he had completed the mission.
The radio operator once he heard responded with a hint of maliciousness in his voice.
"Excellent, Mr. X. Hopefully now forge the bodies and make sure it looks like a wild animal attack… This will deter the SCP Foundation from furthering investigating the mountains as it's clear that we already collected enough combat data from them as they weren't able to defeat the ultimate lifeform."
Mr. X didn't reply, he didn't speak the words or acknowledge them but his nod and snap of his fingers signified that he understood and acknowledged the radio operator's command as he turned and looked at the humanoid creature that Mr. X summoned who was standing completely still.
The humanoid creature turned towards Mr. X and looked at him directly. Mr. X pointed towards the bodies that were left behind by the large humanoid creature as well as the NTF Captain's body. The large humanoid creature nodded yes towards Mr. X, and it grabbed the NTF Captain's body with its large claws and began dragging the body away back from the battlefield.
Soon the radio operator spoke again.
"Once you are finished with properly disposing of the bodies, return the ultimate lifeform to our lab so we can further experiment on him with certain SCPs we retrieved. We have new confirmation of a plan for the laboratory, any connections to it, and to gain the final pieces of our combat data… Once this is done, expect some changes… to happen, changes that I think you will be very amused to hear and even experience…"
Mr. X didn't acknowledge the radio operator once again, but he still did listen to every single thing they had said. The large humanoid creature had already finished dragging the captain's mutilated and ripped-up body away to get rid of it before Mr. X pointed to the lifeless NTF Soldier bodies and nodded his head at the large humanoid creature which responded in an affirmative gesture to indicate to Mr. X that it will get rid of the bodies as well.
The radio operator said one final thing to Mr. X before he ended communication.
"Until then, once you have completed all your assignments, return to our facility… There you will be stationed until you are given any missions."
Mr. X gave one small nod to acknowledge and to indicate that he understood. He then turned back towards the battlefield to see the large humanoid creature finishing up dragging away the NTF Soldier bodies as it headed back to where Mr. X was standing. The large humanoid creature looked to Mr. X for further orders.
Mr. X soon tipped his hat to indicate to the large humanoid creature to follow him as they walked into the forest with the loud thumps of Mr. X's boots, the clanging of his trench coat, and the menacing emotionless stare he gave off with his white eyes.
