Note: Star vs the Forces of Evil belongs to Disney and Sonic the Hedgehog belongs to Sega, I don't own anything. This is my very first fanfiction so understand that my writing is not 100% perfect. But before you read this chapter, please read chapter 8, I know it's a long chapter, but Chapter 8 is important to read in this story and this chapter will make more sense when you read Chapter 8. Now let's finish the story.
Sonic and Star in Adventure in Mewni
Chapter 9 Goodbye for now.
Our heroes return to the Monster Temple where in the Grand Hall, they explain their whole story to everyone.
"So. Basically, just to recap..." Began River, but Moon cut in before he could say anything else.
"You are not going to do that, are you?"
"What, my dear?"
"You know that thing when you talk and every time that you get to a word with an "S" you have that little whistle in your front teeth? I love you honey, I just can't deal with that today."
Then Moon approaches Star and said "Star, you put yourself in danger, also got yourself and your friends killed, and use magic from another world. Am I missing anything else?"
"Uhh, well there's a bunch of other stuff you don't know about." Said Star, but then Marco whispered "shhh" which Star added "no I think that's everything. But look." Then Star hold out her wand to show and used Narwhal Blast, the said "I powers are back in fact they never left. I'll explain more of that later." then gave the wand to Moon but it didn't transform, in the past the wand transform to anyone to holds it, but it seems that the Master Emerald has change the magic within the wand somehow.
"It seems the Master Emerald did more than just restore wand, it's completing changed," said Glossaryck. "In fact the wand is now it's own independent magic power source, no longer relying on the Realm of Magic, which said realm is destroyed."
"Well you learn something new every day." Said Moon as she gave the wand back to Star. "Please don't be mad. That looks like a mad face." Asked Star but Moon hug her daughter, unexpectedly.
"So you're not mad?"
"Oh, I'm always mad. But I'm happy that you're safe." Then Moon looks at Sonic and his friends and whispered to them while hugging Star "Thanks for watching after her." to which Sonic give her a thumbs up. Then Eclipsa and Globgor walk up to Sonic and Eclipsa said "As you Sonic and his friends, on behalf of our world, I thank you for saving our world. With Seth gone the Septarian Army has began to crumble apart, but I promise we'll make amends with the Septarian and over time they'll open their hearts to the light."
"I get the feeling that will happen sooner then you realize." said Sonic as he shook hands with Eclipsa and Globgor "and don't worry about Eggman, I think he'll leave New Mewni alone as for us, it's time for us to go home."
"What? You're leaving already?" Star asked who overheard. "But we're planning a celebration and everything."
"Sorry Star" began Tails "but with Eggman back in our world, and with the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds are again, we really need to get home before Eggman take advantage of our absence." but he got the makeshift tacker from the start of their adventure and gave it back to Marco and he noticed that something different about it then Tails said "I took the liberty to tinker with Janna's makeshift emerald tracker, now it's connected to our communicator so no matter where or when we are, we can keep in touch with each other, plus I have the Miles Electric Dimensional Emerald Locator."
"I through it was called the Monitor Electronic Dimensional Emerald Locator?" asked Knuckles will holding the Master Emerald which Tails replied "It was Marco's idea plus I was going to change the name anyway, monitor electronic sounded weird anyway, speaking of which, with the M.E.D.E.L we can visit anything time and maybe next time we can take you to Mobius, after all we visited New Mewni so it's fair that you could visit our world some day."
"Maybe" said Globgor "but right now, we still got a lot of rebuilding to do here now with Eggman and Seth gone." Then Star approach Sonic and said with a sad look on her face. "So I guess this is goodbye?"
"Oh cheer up Star, I know that we'll meet again. Plus I can tell that your adventures are not done yet, New Mewni is in good hands as long as you believe in yourself Star, you can do anything with your friends." which made Star feel better and gave Sonic and hug and said "Take care Sonic the Hedgehog, the Fastest Thing Alive."
"You too Star Butterfly the Underestimated." Star let go of her new friends as Tails opened the portal back to Mobius, and Knuckles was first to go through followed by Tails as he wave goodbye. "So and Star, maybe when we meet again, let's have a race, you did say you know a good place for a parkour race." said Sonic before he ran into the portal, then immediately after Sonic went through, the portal closed.
"Oh don't worry B-fly, I'M 56% sure that we may cross paths with them again." Said Pony Head "Tonight we PARTY!"
"And tomorrow we'll clean up the mess Seth and Eggman made in Cloud Kingdom." Remind King Pony Head to his daughter who which whispered to herself "oh man."
While everyone began to talk among themselves, Star quietly walk out of the Grand Room, Marco was the only one who noticed and secretly followed Star to her room in the Monster Temple and he quietly entered her room and find Star in the balcony staring that the starry night sky with a concern look on her face. "Is everything ok Star? asked Maroc breaking the silence as Star quickly turned to see him.
"Oh Marco...you scared me." said Star in relief which Marco replied "sorry I saw you leaving the Grand Hall and I was wondering what's wrong?" as he walk up beside Star in the balcony. Then Star spoke
"When I destroyed the Realm of Magic, I through I can finally have a normal life, but it seems I was wrong, I guess I will never have a normal life."
"Star, nothing is normal about you...and I like that about you." said Marco which took Star by surprise. "You do?"
"Of course Star, besides nobody is truly normal, I used to be the Safe Kid before I met you and look that me now. Magic or no magic, you are you Star, and that why I like you Star, and remember what Sonic said, believe in yourself and you can do anything and I'll be right by your side."
Then Star gave Marco a big hug and said, "Oh thank you Marco, and this is why I love you."
"Me too Star, me too." replied Marco.
A week later
It been a week since they went to New Mewni. On Mobius we find Sonic and Tails checking up on Knuckles on Angel Island. With the Master Emerald back, Angel Island is now floating in the sky once again, and Sonic and Tails wanted to make sure that there' no surprises after what happened with the Septarian Army. The 7 Chaos Emeralds have once again disappeared, but they know that the Chaos Emeralds will appear again when the emeralds want to appear. "So Knuckles, are you planning to go treasure hunting?" asked Sonic which Knuckles replied, "Sorry Sonic, I know what I said back at the Starfall Islands, but after what happened last week, I decided to make sure the Master Emerald is well guarded, but don't worry I still plan to go off of Angel Island once in a while to explore the world, hunt treasure, and stuff."
"Well that's what I call a plan." Tails replied "I too have plans to walk my own path, but I know that if I do need help, I'll always count on you guys." to which Sonic replied "well said Tails, as for me, well the same as usual I guess."
"I wonder what are our friends in New Mewni are doing?"
"No doubt Star and her friends are doing the same thing as we are. Enjoying life, going on adventures, and writing their own stories. But when we get a chance we'll visit them to see how they're doing."
"Maybe we can bring Amy and some of our other friends with us, although it will be hard to explain to them about Pony Head." added Tails to which Sonic replied "true, but then again we all been through similar things in the past." then look up at the clear sky and said "I'm sure everything is fine on New Mewni."
On New Mewni, Star, Marco and Janna are sitting outside at Britta's Tacos talking to Tom, who just got back from his cross-country journey, about everything that happened last week. "What about this Neo Scrap Brain Zone?" asked mewman/demon hybrid as Marco replied "after the whole battle, the zone was in ruins and abandoned, the city council has order the whole zone as a restricted area so no one is allow to in. Some Septarian that went into hiding decided to turn their selves in with the authorities and are paying their debts to society with community service."
"As for me" began Star "with my powers back I decided to train myself with it again, I want to make sure that I use my powers for self-defense and to make people happy, not as a answer to all problems like my family did in the past." since Star got her powers back, Star decided to use them once again but now she limited her powers and started to write a new Book of Spells, a spell book that not just different version, it also acts more of guidelines with more well thought out spells. She also being using her powers to bring same smiles to the people around her. "But change the topic.."
Before Star could finish Tom have one more question, "What do you think Sonic and his friends are doing back on Mobius? Will we ever see them again, I only heard about them on the news." then Star with a confident look on her face as she stares in the clear sky and answers "I guess, on another adventure, maybe kicking Eggman butt, and enjoying their life just like we are enjoying ours. Maybe we meet them again."
Meanwhile on a roof watching Star and her friends enjoying their day, Glossaryck smiles and said to himself, "the old age of magic is over...but a bright new age has started, and like I said before with Meteora, I think magic is truly in good hands." He smiles and flew away.
Their Adventure together maybe over, but their friendship will be remembered, for now go on their journey to your next adventure heroes. Someday your paths with cross again.

Now we reach the end of the story. I worked on this fanfiction story project since October of last year, I wrote a few prototypes before writing the final version . I hope you enjoyed Sonic and Star in Adventure in Mewni. Now I'm going to take a long break. But does not mean I'm done. I think I may write a sequel to this story. Who knows. Until we meet again.
